Hello everyone and welcome back to another frightening installment. And I trust you're all prepared for a bit of creepiness here tonight. But you see, for this episode, things are going to go a bit different than usual. This episode will be the first in what I hope will become a series of best of installments where I share with you the best calls we've received to date on a certain topic or subject. Now, not only is this a fun way to recap calls you might have forgotten about, but it also gives my team and I a bit of a breather as these episodes are much easier to produce. And I guess the timing could not be better because both Sarah and I have been sick with a cold or the flu or something pretty much all week. Whatever it is, we've certainly felt better. But as they say, the show must go on. And luckily for us, this unique episode was pre slated for this week. So I guess you could say we got lucky. Now before I get started, I will mention that my commentary will be nearly non existent for these episodes. We let the calls speak for themselves. But I will chime in to introduce callers and I'll let you know which episode the call originally aired on. So with all that housekeeping behind us, please allow me to introduce our first in the best of series, Best of Alien Abductions. And we begin tonight with a call from Allie in the state of New York from season six, episode 14.
Allie
Hi Derek. It's Allie calling from upstate New York. I just recently went to Texas for my cousin's wedding. All his brothers and sisters flew out there for this as well. We were all staying in the same hotel, drinking, having a good time, and it was the end of the night, we were all sobering up, blah blah blah. Our parents were still getting wild and we were like whatever, like let's go hang out. And me and my cousin Katie went back to her room and we were chatting about life, like what we're doing, like boyfriend, school, all that good stuff. And she was like oh, like where you living? And I told her like my lease was just up so I'm back at my parents house until I find another apartment. And she was like, oh, you move back to that really scary place. And I was like, yeah, because my parents house, my childhood home has been kind of a hotbed for kind of ghosty activities. And she was telling me about the experiences that she was having there when she was a child. And I was like oh my God, like yes. Because she's never told me this before either because I thought that maybe she thought I was crazy when I talk about stuff like this. She was telling me all these experiences and stuff like that. And we were vibing about that and we've never talked about this experience that I'm going to tell you right now. And I was like, well do you remember that time we were at your house? And now she lived about 20 minutes away from me in the super, super small town. And we were really close when we were little. And my grandma was watching her and all her brothers and sisters while their parents went on vacation. We were maybe 4, 5, 6. I went over to stay at Katie's house while my grandma was there so we could have like a big fun sleepover with the family. And Katie and I slept in what they called the blue room, which was like the room with the computer. And my carpet was blue and the walls were blue, we were the only ones in there. And I don't know, we went to bed maybe like 11 o' clock midnight, late for a five year old. And in the middle of the night I wake up and I'm in the living room which is across the house. They have a pretty large house. And I'm soaking wet, soaking wet head to toe. My hair is wet, my clothes are wet and my pajamas are inside out and backwards and I'm in a completely different room. Katie tells me that the same exact thing happened to her that same night. The same way she was soaking Wet. Her clothes were inside out and backwards, the whole thing. But I don't remember Katie being in the living room.
Julie
She could have been.
Allie
And I was so scared that I just didn't realize it. Or maybe she woke up before me. But I never told her about this because I thought, maybe I'm young, maybe I wet my bed or something, or I made it up, I dreamt it. But it was the fact that she could recall this. And it was the same night, everything was the same, and it was the same story, and we've never talked about it. So it just kind of validated that experience when I was really little that this strange thing happened to me. I've always kind of been skeptical that maybe it was a UFO experience. That sounds kind of crazy to me, but there was lost time. And I know that's like a big thing about that. And it happened to both of us. And it didn't feel like ghostly or anything like that because I've had a lot of ghost experiences. But I'd love to get your opinion and see what you have to say about it. Thanks so much for the podcast. See you guys.
Derek Hayes
That is how you kick off an all alien abduction episode. Thank you, Ally, for calling in. Now, folks, I think I have time for one more story before our first break, so if you would please welcome Ray, all the way from Ohio.
Ray
Hey, Derek. My name is Ray. I live right near Youngstown, Ohio. A few years back, I only told one other person this story. That guy Howard in London does a podcast, the Unexplained. He read my story and I never told anybody else. Anyway, a few years ago, I was doing some yard work in the backyard and it was dark by the time I finished. And luckily we have a spotlight in the backyard, so I was able to finish my work. I had some tools that belonged in the garage, so I figured I'd put everything in a wheelbarrow and push it up to the garage, put everything away. Well, as I was pushing the wheelbarrow across the backyard, I saw a light. Looked like someone was shining a flashlight on the pine tree. Up and down, but there was no beam. I just saw the light going up and down. I'm thinking, well, that was to get my attention. Well, when I turned the corner to make my way up to the garage, that's when I saw the three lights in the sky. Perfect triangle about probably 100ft up. And as soon as I saw these lights, I heard the sound of locust.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
But not an audible sound.
Ray
It was in my head, very weird. And So I kept pushing the wheelbarrow up to the garage, and I walked almost directly under this thing. I don't know why. I wasn't scared or anything. I just. It was no big deal. Anyway, as I got underneath this thing, I saw another craft come out of the triangle. It was about 4ft long with a light at each end, and it flew over the house and went out of sight. And then that's the last thing I remember. I don't even remember putting the tools away. And the next morning, I was going to take a shower, and I noticed a scab about 2 inches below my belly button. About as big as your thumbnail. And it's not like a normal scab. It was flush with the skin, so you wouldn't even know you had it, you know, if you didn't see it. And it was hard as a rock. So I tried peeling the scab off with some tweezers, and it wouldn't peel off like a normal scab. It was like it was part of my skin. And so finally I got this thing peeled off, and it had a root attached to it. It was very weird. So after that, you know, I've seen several lights out in the sky, and I don't know, something's going. There's lights flying all around Ohio at night. There's always something going on. I thought you liked that story, man. Good podcast.

Mary
Hi, my name is Mary and I currently live in North Carolina. But my story takes place in Chicago, Illinois back in 2015. My story takes place in the early time of year in winter. So I was working at a coffee shop that my sister owned at the time and I was closing the shop. So the time was about 8pm but at the time I lived about a block and a half away from the shop. Now a really important detail to this story is that at the time I was closing, I was alone for like the last hour of my shift. So nobody else was in the shop with me. It was just me. So I closed up the shop and I walked home. It was about a two minute walk. The last thing I remember from that night was walking home, getting to the front door of my apartment building, opening the door, walking in. That is the last thing that I remember. Next thing I know, I am shooting up out of my bed, taking a big gasp of air and I look around and I'm in my bedroom. My bedroom window is wide open. Now mind you, it is winter in Chicago, so it's freezing outside. I live on the third floor of my apartment building. I am fully clothed, I have my coat on, my shoes on, and still wearing my outfit from the night before. It's about six in the morning, the sun is starting to rise, my bedroom door is closed and my legs are like hanging off the side of my bed. I start to look around and I'm very confused on how I got here. Suddenly I feel incredibly nauseous. I open my bedroom door. I can hear my roommate getting ready for work. I run to the bathroom and I become violently ill. I start vomiting and I have no idea what's going on. I ask him, I say, you know, did you hear me come home last night? Like I'm trying to figure out what's going on. And he says, I mean, I think I may have heard you come home, but like I just, I peeked out and your bedroom door was closed. And so at that point I go back to my bedroom, I close the door, I'm rubbing My head, I'm trying to figure out what's going on. I close my bedroom window and suddenly I have this moment where everything comes back and hits me like a ton of bricks. And I remember this very vivid dream. And at this point, I'm not sure if it was a dream or if this is real, but it all comes back and hits me like a ton of bricks. So the last thing I remember is walking into my apartment building. And also keep in mind the only people who lived in that building were my sister, had a unit, the second floor was vacant, and my roommate and I had an apartment. So the last thing I remember is coming into the building and that's it. And then waking up at 6am so there is almost 12 hours of lost time.
Allie
So as I'm trying to remember what.
Mary
Happened, suddenly this dream, or whatever it was comes back to me. And where it begins is I'm looking down, there's light surrounding me, and I'm being sucked up. Whether it's into the sky or somewhere, it's just I'm being sucked up. Next thing I know, I'm sitting in a chair and I'm looking around me and there's two men and two women. And I remember their faces vividly. I know what they're wearing, I know what they look like. And we're all kind of rubbing our heads and we're confused on how we got there. We're confused on where we are. And we look around at each other and were saying like, I'm sorry, who are you? And I, you know, I'm looking and there's a woman with brown hair and she's in a sundress. She's a white woman and she's wearing brown flats. And I'm giving you these details to show you how vivid the stream was. There was a black man who had long dreads. He had a white T shirt and blue denim jeans with black sneakers. There was a white male with blonde short hair, had a black T shirt on and black pants. And then there was another blonde woman there as well. So we're all looking around. It's hard to really describe where we were. Everything looked very artificial. And I couldn't really tell you if we were outdoors, we were indoors. But suddenly I looked and there was a big staircase leading to a glass building. So I stood up. And the strange thing about this is I felt very in my body. So as I'm remembering this dream, quote unquote, it doesn't feel like a dream. Even talking about it right now. It feels Like a memory. So I tell everybody in this group that I'm. I'm gonna go check this out. I said, I'm gonna go into the building. And there's. They all think I'm nuts. And I remember in that moment saying, oh my gosh, Mary, you are the idiot in the scary movie. But I walk up the steps and I enter the building and I remember seeing two figures that led to two different sides. And I remember in my head thinking that it seemed gendered, but I don't know why, it just seemed that way. So I went to the side that seemed to be female. And as I'm walking up the second set of steps, this creature, I guess you could call her or it comes out, she was incredibly tall, like maybe seven feet or so. And she was very long. Everything about her was long. Her arms, her fingers, her neck. And she had like brown straight hair, human features, but everything was very far set apart. Eyes were very far, her nose, her lips, everything was very wide set. And she looked down at me and I looked up at her and she communicated with me in English. And in a very fey voice I heard Mary, hello, we've been waiting for you. And suddenly everything felt very familiar. And I said, what is this place? I feel like I've been here before. And she replied to me almost laughing and said, of course you feel that way. This is where it all begins. And she said, follow me. So I follow her through this other set of doors and we go into a room that's filled with computers. And on the screens of each computer, I see Earth. And I'm not talking about like satellites or anything like that. It's very zoomed in to different fields and different areas. So I couldn't even tell you, like if I wouldn't be able to tell you what state it was. It was just very zoomed in. And I see people looking and I ask her, I say, what's on, going, going on? And she just simply says, creation. We're creating. And so we keep walking and she's showing me around, and suddenly we walk into another room and she turns and mind you, what they're wearing is these long, flowy gray almost dress like tunics. And she turns around and she's holding a folded gray tunic in her hand. And she looks at me and she goes, now is your time to decide. And I'm so confused. And I said, decide what? And she says, if you'd like to stay or you'd like to return. And it was in that moment that I shoot up out of my bed and I'm back in my bedroom, and then I get violently ill and I start throwing up. So that is my story. I don't know if I had a seizure or if I was abducted, but my brother is a huge fan of the show. And as soon as we were discussing this story again, this was back in 2015, he said, you have to call. These details are far too wonderful not to share. It would be a perfect story for the show, so hopefully you can use it. And I'm still, to this day, six years later, not sure what happened to me that night. But we're big fans of the show and thank you so much for listening and have a great night.

Now, this next story comes to us from the state of Pennsylvania. Please welcome Colin back to the program.
Host/Interviewer
Hey, this is Colin from Philadelphia. I am a new listener. I've been binging it. I love the show. I kind of have a weird one. I don't want to say it's an abduction story because I don't firmly believe, but it could be. This all happened in Philadelphia in 2017 when I was living in Point Breeze, which is a neighborhood in South Philly. I was living with three other guys at the time, and I was in college in art school. And it started in February. That February, we had an extremely hot season. It was like 70 degrees in February, you know, thanks. Global warming. And I remember we were sitting on our roof and we had like a rooftop deck. And the guys I was living with were, you know, kind of frat bro y. I'm more art school. So we got along. But, you know, they would make fun of you and tease you a little bit, all in good fun. And we were sitting there and I look over and I see this orange orb just hovering above a couple of buildings. It was too high to be like fire or anything like that. And as soon as I looked at it, it kind of just like a fire just, like whipped into a flame and like phased away. It was really strange, and it just happened in a split second. It was too high to be, like, fire from a chimney or a building. And like I said, I didn't smell any fire or anything like that, so I'm not too sure what that was. So later that night, I'm at a friend's house. We were drinking, you know, having a little bit of a party, and center city. And I decided to go home. So I ubered home, and I decided to sober up because I don't like going to bed a little drunk. So I sobered up and took a shower, and I went to bed. I'm a pretty heavy sleeper. I usually don't wake up a lot. I do have crazy, vivid dreams all the time. But again, they're just dreams, you know, some are spooky, some are normal, but it doesn't really affect my sleep too much. But this particular night, I woke up, and it felt like I was dropped on my bed, and my bed was creaking, like. Like I jumped on it or something, and I landed kind of face down. Now, I usually sleep on my side. And it didn't feel like I, like, rolled over on my face. It felt like I was dropped or I jumped and my arms were held close to my chest. So it was just really strange.
Co-host/Assistant
And it was like, boom.
Host/Interviewer
And, like, I just, like, jolted and woke up, and I was like, whoa. And I quickly looked at my phone, and it was 5:45am and I was kind of just like. That was really strange, you know? Like, it just felt like I just landed on my bed, and I was like, okay. Weird. I didn't really think much of it. And I went back to bed. The next day, I woke up, and it was a Saturday, and I was talking to my one roommate, and his room is right next to mine or adjacent. And he was like, yo, did you hear this really loud bang in the morning? And I was like, no. And he was like, it sounded like. Like a bomb went off, like the flute.
Ray
Boom.
Host/Interviewer
And I was like, I didn't tell him what went on because maybe I was like, oh, maybe I slept, walking, jumped on my bed and hit the wall. But I don't have a history of sleepwalking that I know of. And I don't know. I was just like, whatever. I don't know. And then the following couple days, I kept waking up at 5:45am like, repeatedly. And I was like, this is really weird. And throughout that week, strange things were happening. That house never had any paranormal activity before. But all of A sudden, lights were turning off and on. When I'd walk by them, we would hear creaking noises happening. The TV off and on when I walked by or when I entered the room. And my roommates were kind of getting freaked out because it seemed to be surrounding me. And they were like, dude, what the hell? And I've never had a history of any paranormal things happening. I've seen ghosts, and that's another story. The only thing that's happened throughout my life is that street lights will turn off when I drive or walk under them occasionally. Usually in times of high stress. So I don't know what that means. But it was really strange. Like, all this stuff was going on. But the strange part was that it followed me to school. So I was, you know, in my senior year, and I was going to school in Center City, like I said, art school. And I had my own studio. And again, lights were flickering and turning off and on. And it just. It was spooky. But I never felt, like, scared or like there was bad energy around me. It just felt more like just. Just kind of electrical anomalies. But it was happening too much to be a coincidence. It wasn't like, faulty wiring. The house we lived in was pretty recently renovated, so, I mean, it was an older house, but, I mean, I think they, like, revamped all the electrical equipment. I don't know. And I don't know the property either. I don't live there anymore.
Julie
But then.
Host/Interviewer
So the craziest thing part, I would say, and the part that freaks me out the most is one night. And like I mentioned before, I take showers at night. I don't know, I just feel like I need to wash the day off and go to sleep. So one night I was ready to take a shower, took off my clothes and looking at myself in the mirror. And I looked at my back, and there was these dots on my back. Tiny red dots. And I felt them. They did not itch. They did not burn. I didn't even. I couldn't feel them. I just saw them. They were flat, like. So they weren't like acne or bug bites or maybe like an impression on my skin. It was just. They were flat, like. And they were in this weird geometric pattern. Like, two dots, one above the other, and then a dot kind of in the middle of where they would be and then two dots above. And it was kind of like a sequence starting where my spine is and then going to the left. And it was really strange. And they were bright. Like, they were bright red. And pretty clear. And they were too, like, conveniently placed to be, like I said, a bug bite or an acne. And there wasn't any chairs I was sitting in to like create that impression on my skin. And it was really kind of scary. It freaked me out. And I do have photos of it, so I will, I'll send those in the email after this call. So I was like, okay, you know, the next day they were still there, but they started to fade. And then they faded out and faded out, faded out. And I was like, okay, weird, okay, creepy. But as they faded, the electrical phenomena around me did, did go away. So I was like, maybe it was just a normal coincidence in my head, I don't know. But throughout this whole ordeal, I continued to wake up at 5:45am every morning. And I would know because when I woke up, I would check my phone to see what time it was if I had to go to school. And it was weird. So, you know, I didn't think much of it. It kind of stopped after a while. And then I went home for Easter. My parents live right outside of Philly, 45 minutes away. So I mean, I could do day trips, but I did spend the weekend because I had my brothers coming home. And again, Friday night into Saturday morning, same thing. I woke up the same way like I did months earlier.
Co-host/Assistant
Like, boom.
Host/Interviewer
Like I landed. But this time I was at my parents house and I was like, okay, what the hell? Like, this is the second time this has happened to me in a new house. Maybe I am sleepwalking, I don't know. And the next morning I woke up, asked my parents if I was running around, if they heard anything. Everyone said no. My brother, who shares the room next to me, didn't hear anything, like, whatever. But then that weekend again, the electrical stuff started happening. TV on and off, lights, boom. The neighbors lights. Like the neighbors across the street, their lights were flickering like outside their house. And my parents were like, this was not happening until you came home. She blamed all of us because we all kind of came home and it was really kind of strange. And I was like, okay. So that night I checked again and the dots were again back on my back. They showed up again and I was like, okay, this is too weird. So I did some research. I was like, geometric dots on skin. And I mean, a lot of people are saying, you know, alien abductions, they've been visited, it's an injection site. Aliens probing you. I'm not necessarily, I don't completely buy that because I don't Know, it just seems a little too out there. But again, I have no idea. So as the anomaly, electric anomaly, paranormal stuff faded, so did the dots. And so it only happened to me twice in that span. So I would say this is 2017 from February until Easter. So within a span of two months. Like I said, you know, the alien theory comes from me just doing research online. I've seen some, like the alien Reddit, you know, people posted something similar or other kind of dots on the skin in a certain pattern a little bit more severe than mine were. Mine were kind of four or five to six dots at a time, but just kind of spaced apart in a weirdly specific shape. I will send those in the email so you can see what I'm talking about. I've stopped waking up at 5:45am I never saw that orange thing again. That orange orb. I don't know if that was connected or I'm not too sure. I believe it is. So I'd love your insight. Again, I love the podcast. Thank you so much and keep up the great work. Have a good one. Bye.
Derek Hayes
Thank you, Colin. I think some of my favorite alien abduction stories are those involving marks or objects left behind in the bodies of these abductees. That kind of stuff gave me nightmares that you wouldn't believe when I was a kid. Well, if you'd like to follow up on Collins call, you can find the Original on season 12, episode three. Now, next up, we venture to the state of California, where brandt from season 12, episode 18 is waiting with a tail.

Hi, Derek, this is Brent. This is going to be a long sequence of events that has happened over my life. I guess the earliest event that I can remember it was when I was 12. My older brother and I and my dad went on a camping trip on my great grandma's land down in the south. I'm from the South. So the first night we were there, just the three of us, we were sitting around a campfire and just looking at the stars. It was a clear night and we were all looking up when we saw this bright round light going above us in the sky from left to right. It was too high to be a helicopter, but too low to be a plane. And it just slowly went from left to right, not super fast. And I remember asking my dad, I said, what do you think that could be? He said, I don't know, maybe it's Skylab. And Skylab was launched in 73, so that's how I knew I was 12. So we watched it until it disappeared and then we saw it come back the other way from right to left until it disappeared. Then two of them were there, one from either direction, and they both were going towards each other. And when they got right above us, they both stopped right next to each other, like they were communicating with each other. And they probably stayed in that position for like a minute or two. And then they both just went on in opposite directions until they disappeared. So basically, we just shook our heads and we didn't know what it was. We were kids. Anyway, Fast forward to 1980. I was working in a restaurant, and I got off about 11 and I went home. And we live on a dead end street. It was literally a dead end street because there's a cemetery right by our house on the left. Anyway, I had gotten out of my car and I was getting ready to go in the house, and I remembered, oh, tomorrow's garbage day. And it was my job to take out the garbage. So keep in mind, it's pitch black. We live out in the country. No street lights, only the light of the moon. So I go get a garbage can and I walk into the end of the driveway. But the whole time, I had a feeling that I was being watched. And I had never had that feeling before. And I just couldn't shake that feeling. So I put the garbage can down, I went back to the back of the house to grab the second can. And as I was walking down the driveway, I looked over my left and hovering right above the trees. And these were not tall trees with a craft of some sort. It was probably about the size of, say, a school bus, but it was hexagon in shape, and it was pulsating. Light red, green, yellow, green, yellow, red. And it was just pulsating. But one thing I noticed is it was following me. In other words, as I was walking down the driveway, it was on my left above the trees, paralleling me. And when I stopped, it stopped. And when I took three or four more steps toward the curve, it followed me. Well, I finally shook myself out of it, dropped the trash can, ran the house to get my mom. By the time she came out, of course, it was gone. So that shook me up for a while. But what do you do? You just talk about it to your friends and family. Anyway, I was also 18 and getting ready to move across the country. So life goes on. So pretty much nothing to report until 2013. And this is when things really started to rev up. So I'm living alone, and I'm an extremely light sleeper, and I always sleep in the dark Because I wake up easily. So I was sleeping one night, and something hit the foot of my bed, and it woke me up. And I went to open my eyes, and I could not open my eyes. And then I felt something crawling by my feet. And then all of a sudden, I was frozen. And the only way I can describe it is everything under the blanket couldn't move. It was like I was. You know when you vacuum seal food and you suck out the air and the plastic forms around the food? That's what the blankets did to me. It, like, held me down. I was laying on my back. My right arm was on top of the blanket. I could move my right arm. I could move my head. I just couldn't open my eyes. But I could feel the pressure around my legs that something was on top of me. I have a bat to the right of my bed, and I'm thinking to myself, if this thing moves one more time, I'm grabbing the bat and I'm just gonna start swinging. I don't care what damage I caused, I am gonna start swinging. Because I was petrified. And nothing happened for, I'm gonna say, maybe 10, 15 seconds. Then it moved again towards me. I lifted my right arm to reach for the bat. As soon as I lifted my right arm, this long, thin, very strong hand grabbed my right arm and slammed it down into my chest, and boom, I was out. Next thing I know is, it's morning. And I stood up on the bed going, did that really happen? I remembered it vividly. The thing that scared me the most was whatever this was, it could read my mind. It knew I was going for the bat, and it knew when I was going for the bat. So that also shuts me up. Then little things would happen. Like, I would wake up struggling with someone or something. And one time I went to something above me and I hit something. I could feel it. Another time, I swung at something on my left and hit something, swung at something on my right and something. And right by my ears, I heard, like, a clicking sound, like, click. And then to my right, I heard click. And then I heard something like. Like little feet running out of the room. And then as soon as they were gone, maybe 30 seconds later, I could open my eyes, and of course, there was nothing there. I have had things where I'm asleep and I hear, like, air pressure on the roof of my house, like, to the point it would wake me up. I've woken up and seeing bright lights in other parts of my house. But in early 2018, I had what I Call a recovered memory. I always sleep on my right side every now and then on my back, but I always sleep on my right side. But for some reason, I could not sleep on my right side. I didn't feel safe, I didn't feel comfortable. There was just something wrong. I couldn't sleep and I couldn't figure it out. And this went on for about two weeks. And then I had, like I said, I call a recovered memory. Now, remember, ever since that experience with something crawling on me in the bed, I started leaving my hall light on. So I was sleeping on my right side and I must have heard something. And I sat up, looked over my left shoulder, and I saw four of them. And because I had the hall light on, I saw them clearly. And they were standing in my doorway. And all four of them had their mouth open like they were as shocked that I was awake as I was to see them. And what they were were almost your typical gray, except the heads were different. The heads, believe it or not, were hexagon shaped. And we just basically stared at each other for like maybe 5, 10 seconds. Then the four of them rushed me. And that's it. I don't remember anything else. So that obviously upset me, still upsets me to this day. And then I've had other experiences where I basically call it the zombie state. It's like whatever these things are, they have the ability to have complete control over your mind. But every now and then, for whatever reason, you can snap out of it. And this has happened to me recently. And probably the most dramatic of them, I guess, would be, I guess I was in this state. I felt a jolt and it was almost like I was in an elevator. But when the door opened, it looked like a huge waiting room. And on the right side of the room were men. And they were all sitting in chairs and they were facing towards me. On the left side of the room were all women. They were all sitting in chairs facing the opposite way. But the first man I saw, he was in the second row. His head easily was four to five times bigger than it should have been. And it looked like it was stitched together. But he was just sitting there talking to other men. They were talking to him. There was no reaction. It was like we were all just in a waiting room. Anyway, I was being led, even though I couldn't look down for whatever reason I was being led. And we took a left and we were walking between the women sitting in the chair. And there was these two older women. When I walked by, one of them looked up at me and said, are you from New York? And I just shook my head no. And then she and the other lady just started giggling. And then we walked forward and that's all I remember. There were other things that I snapped out that I was doing, but I want to keep this pg, so I don't want to mention those. But there have been other events that happened where I had snapped out of the state and they were having me do these things. But anyway, I hear people say, oh, the aliens are here. They're good for mankind. They're here to help us. And maybe there are. Maybe there are some aliens that are good. But whatever is coming into my house that's doing what they're doing to me, these are not good. I feel that we are nothing but cattle to them for their experiments or whatever. They don't care about us. And then I think of all these people in the waiting room. Who are they? And one thing I didn't mention is that they were all older. They all look like at least 50 and older. And I'm thinking to myself, how long have they been here? And why are they so calm and just sitting here? I mean, are they all in the same type of trance? I mean, but they were talking. I mean, I don't know. I think of the missing 411 with David Politis. Maybe these are some of the missing people, and for whatever reason, they can't return them. I don't know. So basically, that's the bulk of what's happened to me. The last thing I'd like to leave you and your listeners is imagine this was all happening to you in your life. Now you try to go to sleep at night. All right, take care, Derek. Thank you.
Derek Hayes
Thank you, Brent. Absolutely creepy. And he's right, you know, the nighttime seems to be the prime time for these sorts of experiences. So think of that as you rest your head this evening. Now, don't go anywhere. We need to take a quick break. But I'll be right back with more alien abductions right after this.

Now this next call first aired on season 12, episode 5. From the state of Wisconsin, please welcome Alana to the show.
Alana
Hi, Derek. My name is Alana. I live in west central Wisconsin. And this story has kind of a nonlinear timeline. I guess we'll start in 2009. I was watching TV with my mom and my daughter, and the trailer for the movie the Fourth Kind came on. And in the Trailer there are little clips of the face of a barn owl and the camera zooming in on this barn owl's face. And at the end that barn owl's face kind of morphs into what we would think of as a gray alien. Its dark eyes kind of elongate. And then you're looking at the face of an alien being. Well, as I'm watching this, something clicks and I suddenly have this memory come into my mind that I've had all my life, but I've never told anybody. And I went, holy crap, that is just like the dream I had. And so my mom and my daughter are like, what are you talking about? So the dream that I had, I remember having when I was around five years old. So this would be about 1979, when I was living on my grandparents farm out in the country. And the dream was very simple. It was just me and a little gray alien being. It was just blackness surrounding us and we're just side by side. It's just a little gray guy, we're about the same size. Nothing's happening, we're just there together. And then suddenly it changes. And then I'm lying in my bed and I'm looking up at it and it is looking down at me Again, nothing's happening, we're just looking at each other. And then the dream starts to change and the being is fading away and suddenly changing and morphing. And at the same time I'm waking up from my dream. And as I'm waking up, I'm looking at a picture on my wall of a cat, of a white cat with dark eyes. So the dream is changing the alien face into the cat face. So that morphing was just like in that trailer for the movie I saw. So I was freaking out because I had never told anybody about this dream ever. But I still remembered it at 47. So this was a very long time that I've. I had kept this dream to myself. So as I'm telling this to my mom and my daughter, my mom goes, well, has your dad ever told you about the time we saw a ufo? And I said no, do tell. So she starts to tell me a story of the time in the same area out in the country, very near my grandparents farm, when they were driving and my mom happened to be pregnant with me. So that would have been 1973 because I was born January 74. So I'm like, tell me everything. So she tells me that they were driving along and they saw a spacecraft in the field. Well at first they didn't know what it was. They just thought it was lights. And my mom said she thought it was something called Find the beacon, which I'm not really sure what that is, but it's. I guess it has something to do with events out in the country that they used to have, and they would have, like, search lights or something. So they thought it was something like that, but it wasn't behaving the same way. The. The light was following them as they went along. So my parents parked the car, decide to check it out. They said it was just a large craft, like a saucer craft with colored lights on it, and there was no sound, no sound being made by the craft, no animal sounds, nothing. It was just dead silence. And when they got out and were watching it for a little while, it suddenly just shot over them and disappeared. My mom said she has never seen my dad so scared in all her life. And neither of them told anybody because they didn't think anybody would believe them. So the next time I talked to my dad, I asked him, I said, do you remember seeing a UFO with mom? And he said, oh, yeah, wow, I hadn't thought about that in ages. And then he proceeded to tell me the same story almost verbatim. And he was kind of. Kind of nervous about it. I guess he'd never told anybody either, but he pretty much concurred with everything my mom said. Well, then years later, I start talking to my aunt, and she tells me a story that occurred on that farm when she was a child. And one of the neighbors called and said, hey, look out your south window into your field. And so they did. And there, lo and behold, was a spacecraft. And my aunt said she was just dumbfounded. She didn't know what to think. It was just a craft. It was actually in broad. This one was in broad daylight. And so they stood there, they looked out the window at it. And then my grandma told her, all right, we got to get back to folding this laundry. And my aunt couldn't believe it. She was like, what do you mean, we got to get back to folding this laundry? There's a spacecraft down in our field. But she had to go continue her housework, and it was never spoken of again. So that's three different stories of three different. Well, four if you count me. Five, actually, with my grandma. Five different people who have experienced strange phenomena in the same general area in west central Wisconsin. Thanks, Derek. I hope you can use this story. Love your podcast.
Host/Interviewer
Bye. Bye.
Derek Hayes
Thank you, Alana. You know, abduction stories tend to have a Bit more clout in my opinion. When the witness mentioned seeing a craft in the sky prior to the abduction. I can think of a handful of famous instances where that's the case. The Pascagoula incident, the Betty and Barney Hill incident, and the Travis Walton abduction victims in all three of those stories saw the crafts prior to those terrifying events. Now, as you're about to learn on this next story, not all abductions take place above ground. Sometimes this sort of activity takes place under the water. From season 12 episode 6 please welcome Gary from the island of St. Martin.
Co-host/Assistant
Hey Derek. This is Gary. My story takes place in the island of St. Martin, July 2017, right before Irma hit. The exact location is Little Bay, which is, I don't know. There's a Fort Amsterdam on the one point there of Little Bay, but this happened on the opposite point of Fort Amsterdam. I was on vacation with my parents and their friends on a scuba diving trip. This happened after we got done scuba diving one day, decided to go snorkeling in Little Bay. So we go out. I had snorkeled on the left side before of if you're standing on the beach, lots of cool stuff to see on the left side. Like they put statues out in the water and stuff like that. So I was like, I've been out there, let's go snorkeling on the right side. So my dad and a friend of his and myself decided to go along the right side of the beach. As I'm swimming out, seeing like all the coral heads and the reefs and everything are just dead and everything's white, all the coral is dead. Which I thought was weird because everywhere else I've been on the island is, you know, full of life and colorful coral and stuff. As we swim out, it starts to get rough. We're almost at the point of this day. I turn around, my dad's like, it's too rough. I'm going back in. Can't keep going. I'm like, alright, well I'll be right behind you five minutes. Because I spotted another coral head like out in front of me that looked like it had some life to it and there might be some fish or something under it. They start swimming back. I dive down to go look underneath this coral head and as soon as I get down there, it's like millions of bubbles just come out of nowhere, like a boat just went by or something. But I can't see which way is up, which way is down. I can't see the hand in front of my face. I'm just like, this is weird. I don't know why there's so many bubbles. I know I was near the bottom, so I put my feet on the ground and pushed off, came up to the surface. I turn around and start swimming back. And I noticed that I can't see my dad or his friend in the water anymore. I keep swimming, trying to get back to shore, and I see them both on the shore waving to me. And I'm like, how did they get there? It's literally been five minutes. It probably took us 30 minutes to get out to where we were before they turned around. They swim all the way into shore, and they're like, where the hell you been? You know, it's been over an hour and a half since we've been back on shore. We walked all the way back to where, you know, the chairs and stuff were set up, and they put their equipment back and then walked all the way back down the beach to where we first got in the water. I'm like, I don't know. I was five minutes behind you. Like, I literally went down. All these bubbles came out of nowhere. I decided, all right, I'm swimming back, get back on the beach, and I go to take my rash guard off, which is extremely tight. You know, it's like me or preen or whatever, you know, take it off. My mom's like, what the hell's that on your back? I'm like, I don't know. What are you talking about? And apparently there was three dime, like, about the size of a dime, a perfect, like, circle cut out of my back in a triangle formation that were like. Like, I'm guessing it was something that bit me or something out there that would be, you know, the logical explanation is that something bit me. But there was no holes in my rash guard, which was, you know, weird because it was so tight. Like, what could get underneath my rash guard, bite me in my back and then. And me not know it, you know, like, seems strange. So I went to, like, the local, you know, doctor there. They're like, we've never seen anything like that. Never seen a bite, you know, and these holes in my back were like, all the skin was cut out inside the circle, and it was about the thickness of a dime of how deep the wounds were. And there were three of them in a perfect triangle formation in the center of my back. So my logical explanation is something out there bit me and took the skin off my back. And then, like, the other weird thing is, where did the hour and a half time go? Because, I mean, I literally went down to the bottom, was down there for less than a minute because I can only hold my breath for about a minute and then swam back to shore. I don't know. I thought it was kind of weird. I went to the local doctor there in St. Martin. They said they'd never seen it. When I got back home, I went to the doctor again and was like, what is this? I mean, the one in St. Martin gave me some, you know, antibiotics or some kind of cream to put on it. But, you know, nobody knew what it was or had seen this type of marks before, you know, so I thought it was kind of weird. And, you know, the logical explanation, like I said, was something out there bit me, but how it got under the rash guard, I don't know how I didn't feel it. I also don't know. Maybe you could kind of do research on, you know, something that would bite somebody in a perfectly size of a dime and just take out, you know, a quarter of a. Less than a quarter of an inch of skin off my, like, completely out of my back. You know, the crazy explanation would be there's underground bases of Reptilians that abducted me and took a skin sample out of my back and then somehow wiped my mind. And then I came up and I swam back to shore and, you know, the whole thing took an hour for them to do or whatever. That's the crazy explanation. The other logical explanation would be some type of sea creature bit me that puts a numbing agent in or something, and so you don't feel it. But how that creature got underneath the rash guard and then didn't leave any holes in the rash guard, I don't know. That's. That's one of my many stories I'll learn. Call back with some other ones, but that's it. Thanks.
Derek Hayes
Thank you, Gary. Mixing two of my biggest fears, water and alien abduction. Absolutely no, thanks. But thank you again, Gary, for taking the time to call in. Now, folks, we'll be right back with our final call of the evening and what I believe might be your favorite alien abduction story that we've played over the last 10 years. Don't go anywhere.

And then now from season 12, episode 5, calling in from the state of Oregon, please welcome Julie to tonight's program.
Julie
Good morning, Derek. My name's Julie and I'm from Oregon. I was about three years old, so this would have been 80, 81 and I started having nightmares. That little warthog people were coming to my window at night, trying to take me somewhere. I know they were little because they were about my size. They were maybe about, you know, 3ft tall, 4ft tall. I told my mom about this and they. My mom and my dad. And they just had no idea what I was talking about. They just thought I was maybe having, you know, nightmares, like little kids do. I remember being really upset about them thinking that, because I knew they were real and they were coming to my window. And I was absolutely terrified. And I had nightmares at that time in my life. And they were nothing like little warthog people. Well, one night I went to sleep and woke up knowing that the little blue warthog people were at my window. Again, I was terrified. I put the blanket over my head as my mom had taught me to do when I was afraid. Well, the next thing I remember is the little blue warthog people. I'll describe them better. I guess they were about, like I said, three to four feet tall. They had these cape cloak things on that covered their head, you know, like a hat or something. Their faces were exposed still. They didn't seem to have a neck. They had little arms. They were kind of roly, poly in shape. And they were bumpy. This is part of why I called them the warthog people. And they also had what I could best describe as upturned noses, really big eyes. Like I said before, they were blue in nature, like a gray blue. At any rate, they had taken me to some place and it was cold and I looked around and everything was silver. I remember laying on a silver table. This was before I had any idea of surgical tables, but that was very much like an autopsy table, you know, something that would be sterile and just. It was completely flat. I remember having a sheet of some sort over my body. And I recall being so completely terrified that I decided to try to fool them into thinking I was dead. Because if they thought I was dead, they would have no interest in me anymore. So I was holding my breath and attempting to breathe as shallow as possible. But for some reason I could see them, though. I feel like I had my eyes closed, but I could see them. And they were talking, but I didn't understand them. They were communicating with one another. And then all of a sudden there was a door and this. And the room was round. I know it sounds so cliche. And in walked what at the time I had no. No reference for as well. But also now I do. It was a Gray alien. He was tall, gray. He wasn't wearing any clothes. He had big almond eyes. And he was so much more scary to me and the little blue men. I suddenly was even more afraid than I had been before. I remember the. The gray coming in. I always referred to him as the man in my mind. But he came in and he seemed. I. I don't know how to describe it. He was angry or upset with them, but he wasn't actually. There was no emotion to it. He was just disciplining them. And I remember very clearly hearing him talking, but he wasn't opening his mouth. The gray man was disciplining the little blue men for bringing me. And I remember distinctly hearing the words, she knows she's here. And it was just like that that he said it. She knows she's here. Take her back now. And just like that, I was waking up in my bed. My bed was soaking wet. For a second, being, you know, a little child, I thought that I had peed the bed. But I realized quickly the entire bed was soaking wet. I knew the little men were outside my window. I could hear them as. I don't know how I heard them, but I could hear them making their weird little sounds. They made weird sounds. They didn't talk. They like we talk, but they. It was like animals or something. They were like making weird little sounds. And I heard them going away from my window. And I immediately tore the blanket off of myself and ran out to my parents. Now, as I grew up, I never forgot that dream because for years I was terrified. I mean, it became less and less so as time went on. But I was of more afraid of. Of going to bed that first year after that than I've ever been afraid of anything in my life. That's how come I remember so clearly what had happened to me. My. I didn't even tell my parents for a long time because I was just so scared. And I didn't think they would believe me because I'd already told them that they were trying to take me. So I didn't think they would believe me. Well, time goes on. I grow up, I start learning about aliens. And, you know, they're never described as little blue warthog people. Now you fast forward to, you know, about 2005, and I watched for the first time the movie Communion with Christopher Walken. And he had the little blue people in his movie were. I'm almost crying. Were exactly like the little guys I saw that took me to this place. Furthermore, they're associated with the Grays. And I have no idea what all of that was. I. It was extremely validating seeing that movie. And I kept thinking, oh, that's based on a true story based on a true writer. Maybe I should let him know that I've had a similar experience and he's not crazy. And of course I didn't. I've just actually kept the story to myself almost completely for years. I finally told my mother about the little blue people and what had happened to me. And she said she knew something had happened because she'd never seen me so terrified for so long. Well, now you fast forward again to about 2008. My mom had breast cancer. She's going through the pre treatment before they go in and do surgery to remove the lump. And they had to do a complete scan, an mri, complete CT scan. And they came back to one of my mom's doctors and were argumentative with her about how she hadn't filled out her forms correctly, that she had had surgery before. And she said, no, I've had surgery on my hip, blah, blah, blah. They said, no, you've had brain surgery. And she said, no, I've never had brain surgery. That's something you don't forget. And they said, look. And they showed her these two rice size, so what, like a centimeter, just under a centimeter, scars that were perfectly aligned on either side of her head where they said that she had had implants or surgery on her brain. And they were really adamant, they were arguing with my mother about her having this surgery on her brain. And they were showing her the MRI that showed where there had been, I don't know, these little things that were inside of her head. And they didn't recognize them. They didn't know what they were. My mom was in shock and she just said, I have, I have really got nothing to tell you. I have no idea what that is. So they went ahead and moved on with her treatments and everything went great, thank God. And that was that she and I started talking. And as I said, I. I brought up the aliens experience that I had had. And she started telling me about how when she was four years old, she had this dream that what she called the sea monster would come to her bed because she lived literally on the beach. Her house was a beach house. So to her mind, they were sea monsters. But she described my little blue guys, and she said that she didn't remember any sort of being abducted or being taken anywhere. She just remembered they were would come in and she would start screaming and her dad would come in and settle her back to sleep. And he'd go back to sleep. We really don't have a clue what either of our stories are. We know that our dreams, our thoughts at the time that were that they weren't dreams, that this was very real, that we were very much being taken by these little monsters. And I have. I have. I have nothing else. So I do not share this story very often. I think I've shared it maybe two or three times in my life because it just sounds so absurd and so ridiculous. And I've never heard anyone else talk about the little blue men besides myself, my mom, and Christopher Walken in the movie Communion. I in fact don't really look it up or try to investigate because it actually scares the crap out of me. Still, at 42 years old, I'm afraid that by talking about it now, telling the story or looking it up, I am inviting them back because I truly believe, believe it was a real experience at this point. Anyways, I know it's a long story. I hope that you are able to share it in some way because I'd really like to know if anyone else has experienced the little blue men when they were children. Perhaps they have. Perhaps more of us have. And we were dismissed like I was and my mom was by our parents. That's my really crazy sounding, incredible story of being abducted by aliens, I think. I hope not. But I'm scared to death.

Story (12:55–22:03):
Mary recounts returning home from work one winter evening, only to suddenly “wake up” in her bed fully clothed—with 12 hours unaccounted for and feeling violently ill. Upon regaining her memory, she describes being “sucked up by light” into an artificial, unfamiliar place, joined by other confused people. There she meets a tall, elongated being in gray robes, who tells her, “Mary, hello, we've been waiting for you… This is where it all begins.”

Original Call: Season 12, Episode 18
Story (32:43–43:37):
Brent’s lifelong encounters begin with hovering, communicating UFOs as a child, escalate to being paralyzed in bed by unseen forces (including a thin, strong hand pinning his arm), and culminate in a “waiting room” filled with other abductees, including humanoids with stitched, oversized heads.
Memorable Details:
Brent [38:30]: “The heads, believe it or not, were hexagon shaped… The four of them had their mouth open, like they were as shocked that I was awake as I was to see them.”
Brent [42:02]: “These are not good. I feel that we are nothing but cattle to them for their experiments or whatever.”
Original Call: Season 12, Episode 5
Story (44:35–50:51):
Alana describes a lifelong “dream” of encountering a gray alien as a child, which is triggered into memory by a morphing owl/alien scene in a movie trailer. Inquiry with her family uncovers that both her parents and her aunt also observed a silent saucer-shaped craft in the same rural locale, across different decades.
Memorable Details:
Alana [48:48]: “That’s three different stories… Five different people who have experienced strange phenomena in the same general area…”
Original Call: Season 12, Episode 6
Story (51:49–57:57):
While snorkeling, Gary is enveloped in bubbles, loses direction, and emerges to find his companions on shore and an hour and a half unaccounted for. Later, three dime-sized circles, perfectly arranged in a triangle and missing skin, are found on his back—beneath a tight rash guard, which remains undamaged.
Memorable Details:
Gary [54:30]: “Apparently there was three dime… circle cut out of my back in a triangle formation…”
Original Call: Season 12, Episode 5
Story (58:56–71:27):
At age three, Julie dreams of “blue warthog people” kidnapping her nightly. During one encounter, they take her to a cold, metallic room with a gray alien figure who telepathically says, “She knows she’s here. Take her back now.” Julie awakes in a soaked bed, terrified for years. As an adult, she sees precise depictions of these blue beings in the movie Communion, validating her memory. Her mother later learns she has unexplained brain implants; her mother also had similar childhood experiences with the blue beings.
Memorable Details:
Gray being, via Julie [60:46]: “She knows she’s here. Take her back now.”
Julie [66:52]: “She described my little blue guys, and she said that she didn’t remember… being abducted or being taken anywhere. She just remembered they would come in… We really don’t have a clue what either of our stories are.”
Derek closes by inviting listeners to share their own stories, reflecting on the disturbing consistency and personal impact of these abduction narratives. Whether childhood dreams or multi-generational mysteries, the stories pulse with unease, wonder, and the universal search for answers and validation in the face of the unknown.
Derek Hayes [73:44]: "I hope you had as much fun as I did. Now I'll catch you back here on Thursday with a brand new episode, but until then you keep it spooky and you have a good night."
For those seeking the full chills without listening, this collection is a must-read for fans of abduction lore: Vivid, weird, unsettling, and always authentically voiced.
