If you’ve ever felt stuck in the loop of comparing your life, your success, or your timeline to someone else’s — you’re not alone. And more importantly, you’re not broken.Comparison isn’t a personal flaw. It’s conditioning. But when left unchecked, it can quietly fuel anxiety, self-doubt, and emotional burnout. In this episode, I’m sharing my personal experience with comparison anxiety — how it showed up in my life, the toll it took, and the subtle shift that helped me move through it.Instead of trying to “stop comparing” (which rarely works), I explore a more powerful reframe: moving from comparison to curiosity. You’ll learn:The three mindset shifts that helped me interrupt comparison patternsHow to use comparison as data instead of self-judgmentA gentle practice to help you shift your thinking in real timeBecause while comparison may not disappear completely, your relationship to it can change — and that’s where freedom begins.Take a breath, press play, and give yourself permission to see your life through a different lens.Support the showThank you for listening! What stood out for you in today's episode?Email Stephanie at morethanluckypodcast@gmail.comFollow and DM on Instagram @Morethanlucky.podcastAbout the HostStephanie Lear is a thoughtful guide for women who are ready to create meaningful change — without losing their peace. With a professional background in leadership, program development, and community-building, she has spent years designing spaces that bring people together with intention. What if you’re not actually rebuilding who you are… but remembering? In this episode, I explore the shift from performance-based identity to living in alignment with your true self — your values, boundaries, and inner knowing. So many of us learn early on that our self-worth is tied to achievement, recognition, and meeting expectations. Over time, this can turn into people-pleasing, perfectionism, and a constant need for external validation — leaving you feeling disconnected, stuck, or unfulfilled. But what happens when that way of being stops working? This episode of the More Than Lucky Podcast is an invitation to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what actually matters. We talk about what it looks like to move away from performance-driven living, how to identify your core values, and how those values shape your confidence, decisions, and relationships. If you’ve been feeling out of alignment, navigating an identity shift, or questioning the life you’ve built, this conversation will help you come back to yourself.Support the showThank you for listening! Throughout our lives, we take on roles — sometimes intentionally, and sometimes simply because life, family dynamics, or circumstances place them on us.In this episode of More Than Lucky, I’m exploring what it means to let go of identities and expectations that may have shaped us for years but no longer feel aligned with who we’re becoming. During seasons of personal growth and life transition, these roles can quietly influence the choices we make and the pressure we place on ourselves.Maybe you’ve been the responsible one. The one who doesn’t disappoint. The one who stays quiet, keeps the peace, or carries more than your share. These identities can shape how we see ourselves — and how we believe we’re expected to show up in the world.I also reflect on how even positive change can challenge the identity we’ve built around a habit, a role, or a way of being. When we release these identities, it can leave us wondering who we are without them.Today’s conversation is about learning how to let go without burning everything down — and how to move forward with clarity while honoring the parts of ourselves that got us here.At the end of the episode, I share this week’s gentle practice: The Soft Unhook — a small reflection to help you notice the roles or expectations you may be ready to loosen your grip on.Support the showThank you for listening! There’s a space many women experience — but rarely name. It’s the quiet, sometimes uncomfortable season between who you were and who you’re becoming. In today’s episode, we’re talking about the in-between — that season of reinvention where clarity hasn’t fully arrived, the old ways don’t quite fit anymore, and you’re not entirely sure who you are right now. It’s not a dramatic transformation story. It’s not the polished “after.” It’s the middle. If you’re navigating a life transition, identity shift, or subtle personal reinvention in your 30s or 40s, this conversation will help you normalize the discomfort, zoom out, and move forward with calm confidence.Because growth doesn’t always look bold. Sometimes it looks like sitting patiently in the unknown — and trusting who you’re becoming.Support the showThank you for listening! January was a wild wild month full of highs and lows. This year I took on Gabby Bernstein's 21 manifesting challenge for the second time. In this episode I share my 5 unexpected lessons from participating. I talk about how a spiritual practice needs to be learned and what I realized about sharing my experiences with others. I also share a story that revealed, and reminded me, the process really works when you invest in yourself. I finish off my list by sharing the biggest shift in my attitude and how I realized I was in the right zone the whole time. If you also participated in the challenge I would love to hear your unexpected lessons or simply what you are enjoying about the podcast. I want to share more insights and experiences that interest you the most.
