I didn't sign up. I got put on the list.
Adam Busby
They just put you on the list.
Danielle Busby
But when you have five kids.
Adam Busby
Yeah, but that doesn't work for us because, like, when us.
Danielle Busby
Hold on. Us. What are you doing? Room dad? No, I gotta.
Adam Busby
I gotta keep this woman on her toes because she'll, like, have a comment, but if I just keep. Keep firing at her.
Danielle Busby
I mean, you're talking about Jesus, and then you throw a comment out about yourself. Like, parents, please create a separate email account for your kids. If your email address says stuff like these. And he was, like, putting out words, but now email addresses of like. I was so funny. I was like, that is so true.
Adam Busby
This woman had an email address that said butthole.
Danielle Busby
I've said that. We've said it enough.
Adam Busby
Danielle, in her former life, whenever she didn't have God.

Danielle Busby
Literally have to sneeze right.
Adam Busby
Right as.
Danielle Busby
Oh, my God. And you know I sneeze loud. Oh.
Adam Busby
Oh, please don't. Especially not in the mic.
Danielle Busby
It went away.
Adam Busby
Blow my eardrums up.
Danielle Busby
It went away. Hello, welcome to More Than Reality podcast.
Adam Busby
I don't know, we should start that over or just. Okay. It is what it is.
Danielle Busby
It is what it is.
Adam Busby
Babe.
Danielle Busby
What'S up? If you're watching us on YouTube, I.
Adam Busby
Mean, I'm glad it wasn't Danielle sneezing.
Danielle Busby
I sneeze.
Adam Busby
The intro finished.
Danielle Busby
The biggest relief. When I sneeze it, everyone's like, you don't have to do it. That. I'm like, it just comes out like that, and I'm not gonna blow my brains out trying to hold that thing in.
Adam Busby
By the way, guys, this is More Than reality podcast episode 48.
Danielle Busby
Question. Do you hold your sneezes in or do you sneeze loud?
Adam Busby
I try to hold my sneezes in.
Danielle Busby
Oh, my gosh.
Adam Busby
And then it all comes out of.
Danielle Busby
My nose, all over the steering wheel, all like. It's so gross.
Adam Busby
Okay, that's not real. Talking about.
Danielle Busby
That's not what we're talking about. No, stop.
Adam Busby
So if you're watching this, whenever I sneeze, every single time I sneeze, it cracks my back. Does that happen to anybody else? Oh, we've got, like, my.
Danielle Busby
Hey, so we're topic of sneezing, my.
Adam Busby
Entire upper back cracks. It's, like, from, like, your lungs expanding and, like, my back just go all the way up.
Danielle Busby
Never.
Adam Busby
Every time.
Danielle Busby
Sneeze. Let me see here.
Adam Busby
Let me sneeze on demand.
Danielle Busby
I've never heard your back crack when you sneeze.
Adam Busby
Because I'm sneezing.
Danielle Busby
You hold your sneezes in, and it drives me up the wall because it.
Adam Busby
May be because I'm holding my sneeze in, actually, because I like. I hold it in pressure and yeah, you.
Danielle Busby
You hold it in and you, like, wait for it to get to that point, and then it explodes and you snot everywhere.
Adam Busby
It's like lighting a firecracker in a tin can.
Danielle Busby
So that's what we want to talk about today, is sneezing.
Adam Busby
No, that's not what we're going to.
Danielle Busby
Talk about Anyway, so if you are watching us on YouTube, I want you to tell us what is different. I spy something different. Okay, we're gonna play the game. We're gonna play a game with our YouTube followers. How many people watch us on YouTube versus listen? Do you know that number?
Adam Busby
It really varies ratio.
Danielle Busby
More on more listen than watch, I would suggest. I would say so.
Adam Busby
I don't know. It's probably close to 50. 50.
Danielle Busby
Really? I'm not like a. I'm not like a podcast, I think.
Adam Busby
I don't know. It's. It's honestly, podcasting, it's so hard to track. If somebody out there, like, has, hey, go to this website and it pulls all the data from all podcast platforms without paying a subscription, please let me know. Because, like, I cannot figure out, because you have to go to all these different locations to figure out, you know, where people are downloading from, how many blah, blah, blah. Like, YouTube is so easy because it's just, like, all in one place. You see the charts, you see the graphs. But with podcast, it goes to Apple, it goes to Spotify, it goes to, you know, there's like a hundred different RSS feeds that it hits. And so you just never know where it's all going and, like, how to pull that data.
Danielle Busby
Maybe you should just pay for a.
Adam Busby
Subscription just to know. Because it's like $200 a month just to get that one piece of data.
Danielle Busby
Well, it's important data, I guess.
Adam Busby
I mean, it's not that important to me. It's not. I mean, I'm not gonna pay 200 bucks a month just to, like, oh, okay. This is how many people are listening.
Danielle Busby
Anyway. So if you're watching, be sure to comment below. What is different? And I'm not gonna say it. Okay. I want you to notice what is different. And we're gonna leave it like that. So you kind of wanted to talk. No, no, stop it.
Adam Busby
Because I have like a realization about it.
Danielle Busby
We will talk about it later. At the end, we'll give it away. It's not that big of a deal, honestly. We got new headphones. Actually, we already got new headphones. Let's be real. Every house has like that one spot that's like the. This is my comfort spot. This is my. Don't talk to me. This is my comfort spot. My cozy spot. Right. And if you were to ask anybody in our house what mine was, they would probably say mama's bed.
Adam Busby
Yeah. Because it's that cozy. I mean, ever since we got the cozier sheets and that bubble cuddle blanket, I mean, it's. It's been game over.
Danielle Busby
Yeah.
Adam Busby
I mean, the sheets are. I mean, it leaves you feeling so relaxed and so cool.
Danielle Busby
Yeah, well, because like the sheets are made from viscose from bamboo, which keep you like, it regulates the temperature and so like, it really does let your sleeping. It lets your sleep be a lot cooler, which I didn't know is a thing, but like, it is like life changing. That right there. The material is extremely soft, but it also is cooling.
Adam Busby
I mean, it's like sleeping on a cloud.
Danielle Busby
Yeah.
Adam Busby
It's awesome. And I think. I don't think that bubble cuddle blanket ever leaves the couch.
Danielle Busby
No, it doesn't.
Adam Busby
And then I think last week one of the girls ended up stealing it.
Danielle Busby
Yeah. Blake. Yeah. I called you out. Always taking it. Always taking it.
Adam Busby
But what's cool is if you're on the fence about Cozy earth, they have 100 day sleep trial and also on top of that, a 10 year warranty on their sheets.
Danielle Busby
Yeah. Why not give it a try? You can go to cozyearf.com and use code more than and get 40% off your order. That's a deal worth trying. And if you get the post purchase survey, make sure to tell them you.
Adam Busby

Danielle Busby
Yeah. So thank you, Cozy Earth for sponsoring this podcast. And don't forget to use code more than at checkout for 40% off.
Adam Busby
All right. Thank you. Cozier.
Danielle Busby
Today was fun. I went to was interesting. I. You know, if you're listening, you probably know that we have half a dozen kids and it's really funny to say it that way. It sounds like a really. It sounds like more than six when you say half a dozen and even though it is six, it just sounds funny to say that I. I like to be involved in, like, school things and, like. But I don't like to be in charge because life is crazy. And I like to be good at things, and I know I can't always keep up with everything. And the thing when it comes to, like, participation and, like, doing school things, I never could be the PTO mom or PT or the room mom or, like, all those things because I'm like, I'm gonna fail because, well, there's so.
Adam Busby
Much stuff that you have to keep up with at home.
Danielle Busby
Yeah.
Adam Busby
And not, okay, I got to keep up with all this stuff for six kids, but then also let me be the room mom or whatever. And. Yeah, I mean, that's just.
Danielle Busby
I went to their Quint's new school PTO today meeting. Oh, Meeting today. Because I was like, I don't know this school. I don't know how things work here. And it was a lot different, but.
Adam Busby
It was good than the last school.
Danielle Busby
Yeah. I mean, I guess because I've been there for so long, since Blake was in kindergarten and she's in ninth grade now, you know? So I just know the school and I know how things are.
Adam Busby
Right.
Danielle Busby
I know things. You know?
Adam Busby
Yeah. You know all the movers and the shakers.
Danielle Busby
Yes.
Adam Busby
And the gossipers. So I felt like you haven't learned that yet.
Danielle Busby
I feel like I needed to go to the PTO meeting to figure out who those people are. No. And actually, I knew face is in there. I was like, oh, my God, I know her. I know.

Danielle Busby
Yeah, but who's gonna be my person that reminds me and tells me all the things, but all that to say in the meeting they're going over like it was the first PTO meeting for like the whole year and they're like talking about all the events and things and it was like, really cool, some fun things or whatever. And then the whole room mom thing came up and they're like, okay, we have a couple room moms that room teachers that still need room moms. And I know I got an email like the other day and both of our kids teachers needed room parents. And I was like doing it. Somebody please sign up.
Adam Busby
Did you?
Danielle Busby
I didn't sign up. I got put on the list.
Adam Busby
They just put you on the list.
Danielle Busby
But when you have five kids.
Adam Busby
Yeah, but that doesn't work for us because, like, Us.
Danielle Busby
Hold on. Us. What are you doing? Room dad?
Adam Busby
No, because, I mean, whenever the kids in elementary school, they have, you know, for everybody to do the fifth grade.
Danielle Busby
Graduation party, though, because I'm gonna nail that one.
Adam Busby
For every holiday they have like a party and like all this stuff.
Danielle Busby
Oh, my gosh. I can't.
Adam Busby
We have our kids, they're separated into multiple classes. So we have to go to one for a little bit and then leave and go to the other one. And so if you're like the room mom, you have to stay in there the whole time.
Danielle Busby
There's rules that you can only like, you can only participate at one event, like attend one event, but for one classroom.
Adam Busby
We can do parents. Yeah, parents can only come to. What do you mean? Like both parents or one parent?
Danielle Busby
One. I don't know. I didn't get that clear.
Adam Busby
So I could come to one party per year.
Danielle Busby
Like if I go to Valentine's party, you can go to something. I don't know.
Adam Busby
But there's always more than two for the whole year.
Danielle Busby
I know, I know. But I also think I have three kids in that classroom and two in that one, so odds are different. Anyway, I did say, listen, I know they both need a room mom. I am not good at it. I've never done it and I don't want to do it. I got enough kids. I will be an amazing second Mom, Second helper. I don't want to be in charge. I'm. I can't even keep up with my own life. Like, please don't do that to me. But if no one else comes through, I don't want to leave that teacher, like, out, because, like, they need. They need some help. And so I just said, but don't put my name down, because I want to be the second to help out with both. I want to help both of the room moms because I have kids in both, and I can't pick and choose, like, oh, I'll be theirs and not theirs, because then they're going to be like, why aren't you my room mom? That's why I don't do it. And I have a reason not to. So I'm like, I can be a great helper for both. I'll be the vice president, mom. Not the president mom.
Adam Busby
Yeah, but the vice president is usually the one that does all the work.
Danielle Busby
That's okay. I like to stay busy.
Adam Busby
The president's like a delegator, and then the vice president gets all the.
Danielle Busby
Okay, then maybe I can't be the president.
Adam Busby
I don't know how all that works.
Danielle Busby
Yeah. When you put us in that conversation.
Adam Busby
Do they even have room dads?
Danielle Busby
I. I'm gonna sign you up for the other classroom.
Adam Busby
You would.
Danielle Busby
You would fail.
Adam Busby
I would totally fail.
Danielle Busby
We should make that a thing. We should say you have to be.
Adam Busby
Like, crafty and artsy.
Danielle Busby
No, you don't.
Adam Busby
Going in there.
Danielle Busby
No, you don't. You just said you have to delegate.
Adam Busby
Yeah, but no one else is signing up for it.
Danielle Busby
You gotta do it.
Adam Busby
You don't. Yeah, you get stuck with it.
Danielle Busby
Listen, and I. I have high expectations, too.
Adam Busby
So busy for that.
Danielle Busby
I have high expectations too much.
Adam Busby
So, like, I'm lucky I can even show up, not make stuff.
Danielle Busby
Dude, if you tried to make something, you would work, like, the whole school year just on one thing, because it have to be, like, perfection. But by the way, tomorrow I'm working at the book fair. I mean, I am literally being, like, a volunteer. Like, this is what moms do. I'm saying that because It's.
Adam Busby
It's so 10 years later. She's a real mom now, guys. She's. She's made it.
Danielle Busby
No, I'm saying that because, like, I do these things, but, like, it just feels different that I don't have other obligations too. And I. I didn't say that lightly. I do have obligations and I do have other things, but I'm making more Availability in my schedule to be more present, especially because it is a new school. And, you know, I want to know these people around that I don't know, and I don't know, you know, the teachers and all that stuff. So I figured just jump in there, because, I mean, we already know one thing.
Adam Busby
They're not very helpful.
Danielle Busby
Why?
Adam Busby
Because nobody's volunteering for anything.
Danielle Busby
No, they all are. There was. Out of the whole school, like, it was, like, two.
Adam Busby
You said. You said our. Our kids classes. Nobody signed up.
Danielle Busby
Or two. Yeah, because everybody. Nobody wants the title of room mom.
Adam Busby
Everybody wants to help, so it's a bunch of number twos.
Danielle Busby
Yeah, well, someone make them work. I'm good at. I'm good at telling people what to do.
Adam Busby
Yeah, you're bossy.
Danielle Busby
I'm bossy. It's Katie's song. Love you, Katie. Anyway, we just did a church fast. If you've followed us on socials before, and I don't know if we've ever talked. Actually, yeah, we did talk about it on podcast before. You want to chat about the fast and why we do it?
Adam Busby
And, I mean, we're almost coming up on a year of podcasting.
Danielle Busby
Is it.
Adam Busby
I mean, you've got to think.
Danielle Busby
Wait, because I said we had to start it in 2024, and we launched.
Adam Busby
It right about this time, end of September, I think. I mean, you got to think.
Danielle Busby
Okay.
Adam Busby
We put up one episode a week. How many. How many weeks is in a year? And this is episode 48.
Danielle Busby
Oh, you're. Oh, you're so close. We're so close.
Adam Busby
Yeah.
Danielle Busby
And there's 52 weeks.
Adam Busby
So we've been doing this for a year, so. Yeah, we. We definitely. We typically will do.
Danielle Busby
I was trying to bring guests on, man.
Adam Busby
We typically will do two fast through our church. It's an all church fast. We'll do two of them per year. And so clearly, we've done at least one in the lifespan of this podcast. Yeah, and we've talked about that before.
Danielle Busby
Mm. Yeah, we talked about that pretty much when the podcast started.
Adam Busby
Yeah, I think so.
Danielle Busby
Yeah. But I don't know. It was good. It was good. Like, not for my first intake on ever doing, like, a spiritual fast. I was raised Catholic, so that wasn't like, something I grew up doing or ever did. You know, we did Lent, which was like, you give up something for the 40 days. And mostly it was like, I'm gonna give up candy or something, because there was no social media and stuff.
Adam Busby
I'm gonna give up Dr. Pepper. I'm gonna give up. It's usually give up, like drinking or something. Actually, no, not Catholics are giving up drinking. I'm sorry, all you Catholics out there.
Danielle Busby
But you know, you drink. Mm.
Adam Busby
It's your family.
Danielle Busby
But so it's interesting. I thought I didn't have expectations of, like, this is weird. Like, I've never experienced this. I didn't really know what I was going to get out of it. And then the first day and then like going to like the. Every evening we do like a. Like a worship and prayer just to kind of like keep you encouraged.
Adam Busby
And.
Danielle Busby
Pray through the fast. That first night I was like, oh, this is okay. This is great. Just worship, prayer. And somebody said something to me and I thought that was weird because they didn't. I mean, we had the very first one. They had just started going.
Adam Busby
First one.
Danielle Busby
Very first one. We just started going to church and it was like. I was like, man, like, what is this? And so then, long story short, go through the. The whole fast and it was like, whoa, God, like, wrecks me. And like, totally, like, just presented himself so differently through that, through that spiritual, like, fast. And so ever since then, we've. We've done them with the church every. Every time they do it. And so I guess we've done like, like, maybe this is like our sixth one since we've been there for about three years.
Adam Busby
I guess we may have missed one here and there.
Danielle Busby
Yeah, maybe. I can't remember, but I would say that I've had some powerful ones out of the five, six that we've done and some that are just like this one. I didn't really have anything like super, like, like revealing, I think last time I did, but like, this one was just more comfort in solidifying and like, like a confirmation. Confirmation and stuff.
Adam Busby
Yeah.

Adam Busby
Yeah, I mean, I feel like. I mean, the thing. The thing that I was, like, praying for and kind of focusing and focusing on through this fast, I feel like I can't quite talk about it yet because it hasn't been. I need to have some other conversations with other people about the, like, what it was about.
Danielle Busby
You haven't, like, you haven't seen the. The end of whatever you're praying for. And.
Adam Busby
I mean, I've made a decision about it, but it also affects other people. And so I can't really. I haven't had those conversations with those other people yet. So, like. But it's where they are and where they stand on.
Danielle Busby
It's a good point to make that, like, if you go through a fast, it doesn't mean that, yeah, we can expect God to move, but it doesn't mean that, like, your answers are going to be answered at that point or.
Adam Busby
I feel like it was, like, a realization and a prompting for me to make a decision, but it's a decision that affects other people, so I have to go to them and, like, talk about some stuff.
Danielle Busby
Yeah.
Adam Busby
And so as of right now, I can't talk about it because I haven't had those conversations yet. Yeah, that'll probably happen later this week, so. Which by the time this podcast goes out, it'll have happened.
Danielle Busby
So it's fine. Just kidding.
Adam Busby
But those people may just be jerks and say no or something. I'm just joking.
Danielle Busby
But it is. But it is. I mean, like, we have learned.
Adam Busby
But let me get back to you. But, like, one other thing is, you know, through. Through the fast, people will come up on stage and, you know, the God, the God. God gives people the gift of, like, prophecy and, you know, so God may give someone either a picture in their head or a word or a word or whatever. I mean, it could speak directly to them and. And it prompts them to, like, hey, you know, somebody in this room, whenever we're up there in worship or whatever, may be either dealing with this, maybe this may affect them somehow. So I'm going To go up on stage, and I'm just going to say it. And if this speaks to you in a certain way, then just receive it.
Danielle Busby
Receive it. And if you want, we can pray with you or whatever.
Adam Busby
And. And so, you know, you. You may have, like, half dozen people go up on stage, and they may say different things or whatever.
Danielle Busby
Or none.
Adam Busby
Yeah.
Danielle Busby
And then this happens all the time.
Adam Busby
Yeah. I mean, some nights it might be one or zero or some nights it might be a half dozen. And, like, the amount of kids we have. Yep. And so second night of the fast, somebody went up on stage and, you know, as we've been going through all these changes, you know, with our. Within our own family, within our own life, making, you know, feeling like God just kind of, like, disrupted our life and kind of flipped things around and kind of just shook things up and, you know, called us to just move away and kind of reconfigure our lives and stuff like that. Yes, we've been obedient to that and have gone and. But, you know, somebody went up on stage and he's. He's like, talking about, like, whenever, you know, God equated it to, like, walking on water. Like, walking. Whenever Peter stepped out on the water and was, like, approaching Jesus, but whenever he took his eyes off Jesus, he started to sink. And. And that just, like, kind of hit me. Yes. I. You know, we've. We've listened to God and we've. We've gone and we've taken that step as, you know, he's called us. But through that and, you know, just all the other things involved with, like, moving here and like, all the logistics and just. Just other things going on within our family, within our life, within our business, within, you know, everything. Yeah. Like, we went. But then, you know, I feel like I have personally me tried to just, okay, God, like, you're sending me this way. I got it. And then just, like, take off. And instead of keeping my eyes focused on him and just receiving, you know, direction and guidance and looking to him for, you know, what he wants of me daily, instead of just like, okay, yeah, like, he sent me here, I'm just gonna take it and go. And I'm trying to control everything, and then you start to sink. Negative things start to happen, you know? You know, and so it was just like a confirmation to me to, hey, eyes up. Eyes up here, boy. Keep focus on me. I always tell that to Daniel. Hey, hey, eyes up here.
Danielle Busby
Wow. Wow. I had a comment.
Adam Busby
Throw you off. I gotta keep this woman on her toes because she'll, like, have a comment, but if I just keep. Keep firing at her.
Danielle Busby
I mean, you're talking about Jesus, and then you throw a comment out about yourself. Like.
Adam Busby
You know, that's what I do.
Danielle Busby
That's what I do. Boo.
Adam Busby
Like, whenever. With friends or, like, in a serious situation or whatever. Like, I will always say something just completely to catch everyone off guard.
Danielle Busby
And it's embarrassing at times.
Adam Busby
Either lighten the mood or just, like, dad jokes.
Danielle Busby
But it's not a joke. It's like, dad comments. But.
Adam Busby
Or sometimes it may be morbid or whatever, but I know.
Danielle Busby
I forgot what I was.
Adam Busby
People just understand. Oh, that's just Adam's humor.
Danielle Busby
Yeah.
Adam Busby
And they just say, okay.
Danielle Busby
And I just say, you're a total butthole. I'm just kidding. I haven't said that word in a long time. Feels weird to say. I saw a thing so On Instagram or something, and it said, parents, please. Saying the word butthole. Saying it out loud makes me laugh. But. And then thinking of, like, when I used to laugh at that word, and I created an email account with that name, which was stupid. When I was, you know, a teenager or whatever, and the. This guy was a teacher, and he said, parents, please create a separate email account for your kids if your email address says stuff like these. And he was, like, putting out words, putting out email addresses of, like. I was so funny. I was like, that is so true. Anyways, Squirrel, you used to have, like.
Adam Busby
A Gmail email address.
Danielle Busby
I'm so stupid.
Adam Busby
That had butthole in it.
Danielle Busby
Why?
Adam Busby
This woman had an email address that said butthole.
Danielle Busby
Butthole. Okay, I've said that. We've said it enough.
Adam Busby
Danielle in her former life, wondering if she didn't have God.
Danielle Busby
What does that have to do with. Yes. Well, you just keep getting me distracted. Must be those new glasses. By the way, guys, if you're watching us, Adam has new glasses. He's about to do his mod. He's about to do his model face for y'. All.
Adam Busby
I feel like a new man. Like, not just not how they look. It's. I. I literally have had the same pair of glasses for the last four years.
Danielle Busby
And now I thank the Lord you got rid of those glasses.
Adam Busby
And my eyes have steadily gotten worse over the last four years to the point where, like, the last. The last probably three or four months, I'm like, I've got to get new glasses. I can't see anything. And, man, I got these. Yeah, I went and picked it. Picked these up yesterday, and it was like, huh. I Can see in like HD again. Like, I'm just seeing. I'm like looking at my phone. I'm like, wow. The words are so crisp. Like everything. Like, I'll just, like, I'll just look. Just stare at something. Like, wow. I haven't seen lines that crisp and forever.
Danielle Busby
So now you look at me and go, that girl.
Adam Busby
Fine.
Danielle Busby
Keep your eyes up.
Adam Busby
Eyes up here, boy.
Danielle Busby
Yeah. So he finally got new glasses. And I can't tell you that, like, men are ridiculous because they will complain, complain, complain. I can't see my glasses broken, blah, blah, blah. And they don't do a dang thing about it. And time and time goes on. It's like, I. I am not gonna make that eyeglass appointment for you.
Adam Busby
I prioritize everybody else over myself when it comes to, like, self care. Like, like that's not a true statement. Eye stuff, like going to the doctor.
Danielle Busby
Stuff that you don't want to do. It's stuff that you don't want to do. No, you prioritize. You prioritize yourself a lot. Cuz you always look prime. So don't say you don't prioritize yourself.
Adam Busby
That's not that hard. It's not much work, babe.
Danielle Busby
Oh, jeez. Okay, we're going to. We got to get off this subject because Adam's getting a big head over here.

Adam Busby
Sure.
Danielle Busby

Danielle Busby
Yeah. So we. Adam can see clear now.
Adam Busby
I can see clearly now the rain is gone.
Danielle Busby
But I just, I just feel like it's so frustrating that, like, men, you've had those glasses for four years. Probably what, four or five months ago they broke.
Adam Busby
No, it was like four weeks ago. It was at Ben's house. One of the kids, they. We were swimming a few weeks ago and. And I sat them on a chair and they fell off the chair and one of the kids sat on them.
Danielle Busby
And they were very outdated and they needed to go, bye, bye. So thank the Lord someone sat on them.
Adam Busby
Yeah, I know. It was long overdue for sure. Especially now how good I can freaking see.
Danielle Busby
But that's the point. It's like, why do men do that? Like, they just wait and wait and wait and it's like, did you know.
Adam Busby
By 2026 they're going to have an eye drop for like shortsightedness or nearsightedness?
Danielle Busby
Short sightedness. What is short sightedness?
Adam Busby
Like you nearsighted. You don't see Short Corrected myself. See, that means you don't have to keep going. I corrected myself.
Danielle Busby
Rare.
Adam Busby
Near.
Danielle Busby
Did you see that Taylor Swift and Travis got engaged?
Adam Busby
I did.
Danielle Busby
Did you see it everywhere?
Adam Busby
I did. I'm sorry, I don't know.
Danielle Busby
Congratulations. I was like, it's gonna be everywhere.
Adam Busby
Oh, yeah, it's gonna. I mean, I broke the Internet like, what, yesterday or the day before, but I don't know. I don't really care about stuff like that. I'm not a swifty.
Danielle Busby
I don't think any of us are swift, but.
Adam Busby
Kansas City fan. So it's like, I mean, what is it? What is it like? So it doesn't really affect me much, but it's just weird because, like, whenever I say I'm not a swifty, like, that seriously affects the swifties. Like, everybody should be a swifty.
Danielle Busby
I don't think any of us are swifties.
Adam Busby
I mean, we, we listen to it. Like, we listen. Like, I don't have a problem with like some of her songs and the girls play it in the car and we'll play it from the car. But like, we're not like a swifty family. Yeah, it's fine. But I don't get all like, oh, Taylor got married.
Danielle Busby
I'm a believer family. That'll stir up stuff too.
Adam Busby
But I'm just not like a. I don't have. I'm not a favorite person. Like, I don't, like, I don't have like a lot of favorites of stuff.
Danielle Busby
You have a favorite color.
Adam Busby
Black.
Danielle Busby
That is not your favorite color. You only started wearing black since you became a photographer because that's what photographers do.
Adam Busby
20 years.
Danielle Busby
Your favorite color is blue.
Adam Busby
Because I'll wear black more. Only probably four. Four days out of the week at least I wear a black. You're so gothic, because it's just easy.
Danielle Busby
Your favorite color is blue. Any chance you get, you're wearing blue. Unless you're taking photos, you're wearing black, which. Who says you have to wear black?
Adam Busby
See, you just kind of, like, blend in with the background. You don't throw color, you don't throw shadow. Like, you don't throw, like, a color cast and stuff like that. You just wear black. That's why. You got any other questions for me?
Danielle Busby
It's time for dinner.
Adam Busby
About the colors I wear.
Danielle Busby
I did pick the other glasses. Were they black?
Adam Busby
They were. They were like.
Danielle Busby
Are those.
Adam Busby
They're like, dark brown. I think they were brown. Yeah.
Danielle Busby
So the day. Adam. This is funny. So Adam goes.
Adam Busby
They say they're slate. I mean, they do. They definitely do have, like, a blue tinge to them.
Danielle Busby
Adam goes to get fitted for glasses and pick out a new pair of glasses. And I'm telling you, I'm gonna. I'm gonna. I'm up. I'm meant to post it on my socials. All the model faces of Adam Priscill guy. She was in Brazil. So I was like, I couldn't. I. I can't get anybody to laugh with me. He's just sending me all these, like, right, straight, left with his model face. If you know Adam, you know the model face. Give him. Give. Give YouTube a good model face.
Adam Busby
I mean, because, like, I'm used to. I mean, I take photos of people. I take head shots, stuff like that. Like, you're supposed to tell people, push your chin out, like, accentuate your jawline.
Danielle Busby
Okay, tell me.
Adam Busby
So naturally, whenever I would take a photo, I just kind of like. Like, I will clench out you. You over exaggerate what I do just to make fun of me. But, like, I push my jaw out and I, like. I clench my jaw to, like, make your jawline harder. I mean, it's just. It's like. Comes naturally because, like, I'm used to taking photos of people, and so whenever I go to take a photo myself, I just do it.
Danielle Busby
No, I'm going to pick on you more.
Adam Busby
Okay.
Danielle Busby
It's like. And I know this is not just you because I feel like there's other men that do this, too. It's anytime they, like, walk and see themselves in a reflection or a mirror. They take that quick second look of like, oh, yeah.
Adam Busby
Oh, yeah. Women don't do that.
Danielle Busby
I don't, but it's different.
Adam Busby
Anybody that walks by a mirror will, like, look over and check themselves.
Danielle Busby
No, it's different. It's different. It's different. Remember when we did Todd's birthday video? That was so good. I want to re watch that. Anyway, it is. We have. We have just chit chatted. Try to keep this episode a hodgepodge. Talked a little bit about sneezing buttholes.
Adam Busby
Fast.
Danielle Busby
Fasting.
Adam Busby
God, right after buttholes, I came after.
Danielle Busby
Oh, gosh, this, this. And then we talked about Adam's glasses and. And trying to pick on him. But anyway, we appreciate y' all listening, and there was no, like, lesson learned, going through teaching, trying to speak life into you. This episode giving you some knowledge. We're just hanging out. Hanging out with y'. All.
Adam Busby
Yeah. Because I think some people sometimes you just want to hang out.
Danielle Busby
Yeah, I do want to hang out. I want to hang out. I want us to, like, start.
Adam Busby
I feel like we need to have. I mean, this didn't. This episode didn't really have, like, a big agenda.
Danielle Busby
No. But I feel like we've had, like, it needed to be light.
Adam Busby
I meant to do this a few days ago is like, send out something on social media, hey, ask us some questions, or blah, blah, blah. And we all have to talk about. Because we have not done that in a long time. So we need to do that. Yeah, I did the. We did, like, the. Hey, leave a voicemail here, but.
Danielle Busby
Oh, let's do that again. I love.
Adam Busby
I canceled that account because we only did it once, and then that. Then I was. I mean, I can reactivate it, but I just stayed subscribed to this account for months, and we weren't doing it. So I just, like, I love doing that.
Danielle Busby
I want us to do that again. So let's come up with a fun topic and do the call in thing. Also, when we hit the year mark, like, we got to figure out, like, I want. I want to start bringing in people.
Adam Busby
Into this room.
Danielle Busby
I don't know, maybe we need another set for a podcast. Can you fit two more chairs in here? I think we can do it anyway. I cannot believe that we have almost made this podcast through a year. Episode 48, you said when we get to 52, I'm going to remember that. But thanks for listening. We are still, you know, growing this podcast, so please be sure to, you know, subscribe YouTube, subscribe, Apple, Spotify, wherever your platform is that you're listening and comment and engage with it because, you know, that helps us out. Leave questions, all the things.
Adam Busby
And support our sponsors.
Danielle Busby
And support our sponsors. Yes, that helps us out too. We enjoy doing this. It is definitely.
Adam Busby
We would not take on a sponsor if we didn't support that company also.
Danielle Busby
Yeah. And we've always done that.
Adam Busby
We're not going to talk about a company that we won't use ourselves. So like whenever we're giving like a hey, try this or hey.
Danielle Busby
Cuz we use it, we believe in it and we do it like, or whatever it is, you know, like it's not just like a. A paid thing. Like we believe our sponsors.
Adam Busby
I get probably 10 requests a day.
Danielle Busby
Yeah, we throw out way too many sponsors before we take sponsors in. So it's doing that is very big support. And you know, life is different and our journey is changing and so, you know, little things here and there help support and grow the platform of us being able to do little different things and being able to, you know, get our words out there more effectively. So yeah. Hope you enjoyed our hanging out sesh. We're just going to call this from the hanging out session. See and Where's Waldo?
Adam Busby
We'll see what chat GPT tells me.
Danielle Busby
Okay, peace out, guys.
Adam Busby
All right, we love you guys.
