We literally had to get in the day in the car again today on our filming podcast day and we had to drive up to Conroe which is about an hour ish, a little over an hour from our house. So ta da. We're in the car filming podcast again. So before we get started, we want to thank our wonderful sponsor today, Good Ranchers.

We believed in the product, we love the product and we were paying for the product out of our pocket from the beginning. So it's something that we believe in. We don't speak about stuff that we don't believe in and we absolutely love Good Ranchers. So you can go to goodranchers.com Everything is born, raised, harvested all in the United States from local US Ranches and US baby. And so Good Ranchers is all about bringing people to the table. Our core mission and values is bringing people to the table. And that speaks Directly to our heart.

And so thank you, good Ranchers, for sponsoring this episode. You can go to goodranchers.com and use the code BUSBY for $40 off your subscription.
B
That's right. That's 4, 0, guys. $40 off. So thank you, good Ranchers, for sponsoring this podcast. We love you guys. So we are on the drive back home. Hopefully we're making it in time to get the quints from school. We're going to be cutting it closed and we're in the car, which means we have to go home first, get the buzz bus, and then go get the girls from school. So we are cutting it close, but we just left a meeting. It's been a great day. Exciting news that we will be able to share soon with you guys. I know the podcast always hears it first, but we're. We're not ready to share just yet. So hang tight. We'll get there when things are signed off and we can officially share. Yeah, but it's been a busy week, guys. And next week is my official first women's event that I've been planning after the Rain. My heart of her ministry.
C
I'm surprised you actually haven't been talking about this on the podcast.
B
I know, right?
C
Like, it's like the biggest thing that you have going on and you haven't really mentioned it at all on our podcast.
B
I know.
C
I.
B
We have been, like, so busy and it has literally been consuming me and I feel like I still have so much to do. But it is next Friday, the 17th. The 17th. We're gonna have four speakers. I will be speaking. Corally Spell will be speaking. So Corly is. Corlee and Ben are the owners of Good Ranchers, and she has an incredibly incredible story of just hope, healing, and just renewal from cancer. And if you're coming, there's still tickets available, guys. So there's VIP tickets and general mission. So if you actually want to come and you are still have time to come, I don't care where you are, you can fly in. I'll accept that. You can get a free ticket for general mission. Just use code free G A F R E E G A. And you can get you a free ticket. Drive in, fly in. I don't know. Maybe you want to train in. I don't know how you're going to get here. Maybe you want to bus in. But if you train in, I don't know where you come on a train.
C
But I know a lot of people from the Houston area follow along our journey and listen to our podcast follow our social media and stuff. So if you're in the Houston area it's going to be a easy, easy jump over for you guys.
B
A great women's night out. Like Friday 7 to 9 you can come over early at like 6, 6:30 you can get in the VIP. We'll be doing meet and greet pictures and snacks and stuff and gifts and everything will be at 5:30. So come hang out, come meet and greet, come take some photos with all of us. We'll also have Christian Bevere is coming down who is amazing woman too. We love the Bevere family. They're just great inspiration and Christian's going to be sharing with us and kind of speaking to kind of like single women. Though she's not a single woman anymore. She is married, has two beautiful kids but she's still going to be sharing kind of like her story and like her book and everything. And we were going to be having Julie Wilson Burns share with us but things have changed and I now have a new speaker, Eugenia and wow, wow, wow. I just like cannot like I have chills thinking of the story that she is going to be sharing with you guys about abandonment just thrown to die on the streets and just the story that she will share is just going to be unbelievable. But we still have tickets available if you are wanting to come. Use code free Ga Adam will put the code down in the the code, the link if you still want to come get tickets. But I'm going to offer you a free ticket. Okay, just come. I just want you to come. I don't care if you come for 30 minutes, you come for two hours. It'll be a two hour. We're going to have worship, we're going to have prayer time, we're going to have just we want to hang out. I literally want to meet you. If this thing turned out to be 1500 people or 100 people, I don't care. But what I really want is just to have an intimate time to get to know people and share stories and want to be able to connect and hear from other women and to like connect and have find your purpose, let you feel encouraged from others but also to let you be heard and let I want to get to know you and hear your story and let you know that you have a purpose and you have a story too. So there's ways that we're going to do that within the night. And so I'm super excited and I am surprised that I have a potential talked about it because that's like All I've been working on. Anyway, there's my, there's my own shout out ad for myself. But it really is going to be a great night. So anyway, yeah, so we're driving home and it's like I'm hot in the sun and when is it going to cool off? It is literally like almost mid October and it is still super hot out here now.
C
We've been getting these like crazy little rain showers and hoping like one of these is going to be bringing in like cold weather and it stays miserable.
B
Okay, so we're on the drive home. We're going to make this like a fun episode where I'm going to ask questions at Adam Hash. No, hopefully maybe I'll even answer myself. I'll read the question. Since Adam was driving, he's not going to read them. But I'll, I'll ask him a question, he has to answer it.
C
We're not going to do anything that's necessarily unsafe.
B
So then I'll read the question to me and then I'll answer it too. So it's going to be so some questions that a wife should know about her husband and her husband should know about his wife.
C
Okay, so is that like you're asking me stuff like women things. Are you gonna. Yeah, like there's though on the questions that you're getting.
B
Yeah, I know the answers.
C
Well then that's not fun.
B
You should know your answers too because you're. They're your answers.
C
No, I'm talking about like, like if.
B
I ask you what's your favorite color? You know the answer.
C
I'm talking about things that like questions that you should be getting. Are there the answers there or. They're just questions.
B
It's just questions. You know the answer. Cuz they're your answers. Like if I say what's your favorite color?
C
I thought you. It's like pop culture.
B
No, it's not trivia. I'm not doing trivia. No way. I'm not good at that. These are so like questions you should know. So. See. Okay, that's too easy.
C
She's gonna screen them specifically. So I can't win. This one's too easy. I'm not.
B
You're driving. What TV station is your spouse most likely to have on.
C
Bravo.
B
I don't really watch TV stations anymore.
C
But that's a station and that's like you. I mean you're into all that like housewife shows and I don't really watch that anymore. When you watch a TV station, that's typically what you Watch.
B
I'll give you half credit.
C
Well, what would your answer be? Because that. Because Netflix, that is not a TV station. That's why. Like, I can't say Netflix, that's not a tv.
B
I almost added in their TV station. Or.
C
Yeah, if. If it didn't say, I would say. Well, you mostly watch Netflix, but. Or prime or Apple, since you're saying. Yeah, and neither one of those are stations.
B
All right, next question is for me. What dessert is your spouse most likely to order when you're out? Cheesecake or bread pudding?
C
When dessert.
B
Dessert is cheesecake.
C
Oh, yeah, definitely cheesecake or bread pudding. That's like my two. Go to desserts.
B
There you go. Where did you go on your first date?
C
I mean, I don't think you would consider that a formal day, but, like, our. We would take lunch breaks, and they were kind of like little mini dates inside of the food court in Target.
B
Oh, that was our first date.
C
Those are kind of like little dates because, like, I would, like, purposely, like, plan my breaks around. We'd have, like, little dates.
B
No, that was a sneaky date to you.
C
But then our first real date was at a Casa Manana Mexican restaurant in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Or for my little sister's birthday with. With my parents and her boyfriend. Is it her boyfriend, too? Yeah.
B
Yeah, our first. That was our first date, guys. I went to his family's birthday to celebrate his sisters that had just met that day, as it was a surprise. So then what was our real first date where it was just me and you? Do you remember? Because I don't.
C
Could have very well been, like, Applebee's or something back whenever they had Applebee's.
B
And, like, I do remember I was going to Applebee's at one time, but I don't know when that was. That's funny that I don't remember that after that. What does your sp. So this is for me to answer. What does your spouse do every single night before bed?
C
This is for you to answer.
B
Yes. He lays in his bed with his glasses on and the sheet with his iPad.
C
Just the sheet.
B
Or phone. Or with his eyes closed.
C
Or book.
B
Or book with. Yeah, with his eyes closed. With whatever's on or open.
C
I usually don't last very long. Whenever I lay down, that's what she said. I'll take it. Got you. That's funny. That's what she's. Wow. Yeah. I don't. As soon as I lay down in the evening because I wake up so early. And so, like, by the time. I mean, Daniel Knows by the time once, Once the quints go to bed.
B
Hey, that wasn't your question.
C
Once the quints go to bed, I may come beeline to the bed and usually by the time I lay down, I'm like out within.
B
Yeah.
C
So why do you even, why do.
B
You even open something? And then he says, I was watching that.
C
If there was him away.
B
Here's your question.
C
I usually don't make it very.
B
When's your mother in law's birthday?
C
No clue because I don't, I don't know anybody's birthdays except for years and my kids, maybe my mom and dad's. I know almost.
B
What year was your spouse born? How would you not know that? We don't go to Dunkin Donuts. So that's. So this is about. This is about me. What kind of pizza would your spouse eat?
C
This is a question for who?
B
I'm supposed to answer this.
C
What kind of.
B
What kind of pizza would you eat? One with a lot of meat on it.
C
It changes up every now and then.
B
One with a lot of meat on it?
C
Yeah.
B
If a pepperoni meat.
C
If a pizza place has like a carnivore.
B
Yeah. One with a lot of meat on it.
C
That's typically what I'll. But I don't, I'm not a, I'm not a big fan of Italian sausage.
B
Yeah, you just want beef.
C
So usually like, I'll sub the sausage for just like a, like a hamburger. Thai feet. Yeah. Or just beef.
B
It's what's for dinner? Oh, there's people up there.
C
Never really been a huge fan of Italian sausage.
B
All right, next question's for you. Which one should ask when your spouse is upset, what's the first thing they do?
C
Is this a question for who?
B
You.
C
So you give yourself a question about what pizza do I order?
B
Hey, it was next in line.
C
Let's see how this is going.
B
It was the next question.
C
So what's the question again?
B
When your spouse is upset. Oh, no. What's the first thing they do?
C
Depends on when you're upset and to who.
B
When your spouse is upset, what's the first thing they do?
C
And take a bath, maybe I was sitting soaking their tub when I'm upset. It's usually your answer for nearly everything. You're upset, you're sore, you're stressed, you're. You're just chill and you're tough.
B
When did you first meet your spouse's family? On our first date. That's the next question. Then the next one says, what's the one Thing your spouse makes that you love? Yeah, babe, what do I make that you love?
C
I mean, that, like the chicken and rice and gravy.
B
Oh, that. Riley says it's amazing.
C
The kids love it, too.
B
Yeah. On a scale from one, one thing.
C
What's one thing that I make that you.
B
There's a lot of things. Because you cook better than I do, you don't necessarily make the type of food that I love. Like, you would never make pasta except Marry Me Chicken, but I can't have one. Something in Marry Me Chicken makes my stomach hurt, but I don't know what it is, but I love it. I like your gumbo, and I mean, your steak's always good. I like that chicken that you make with some seasoning on it.
C
Grilled chicken.
B
But it. No, it has some one season on that you put.
C
Remember?
B
I don't know which one it is, but I'm like, something's different about that chicken. It tastes good. It's probably good ranchers, too. I mean, I know it is. On a scale from what this is for me. On a scale from 1 to 10, how organized is your husband, your spouse? 10 is the best one. Next question. That's stupid question. Go on to the next one.
C
It depends on what the organization is.
B
Was my question.
C
What.
B
What is your spouse most likely on the phone? Oh. Who is your spouse most likely on the phone with if it's not you? Oh, that's a good one. Who am I most likely on the phone with? That's a tough one.
C
It's not always the same person. It's usually like either Corley or Priscilla or maybe one of your sisters. I wouldn't say it's necessarily always one person. Maybe Cassie.
B
I would say if I were to say the last. Maybe just say this month. So far, it's probably been Mandy and Corlee.
C
Mandy or Corley.
B
This. This month so far. What about you? Who would you be on the phone with the most? Ben.
C
Yeah, I usually don't talk on the phone. Like, I don't talk to man on the phone, but usually. But he calls a lot, but then calls me.
B
Yeah.
C
And so, like, I'll talk to him. Like, I probably, like out of any friend that I have that I actually talk to, like, without text or whatever, it's usually Ben.
B
Yeah. So this is for you.
C
Those are probably the two that I talk to the most on the phone.
B
Say ball. Who? Oh, when did you know you were in love with your spouse? Oh, good one. Yeah, babe, tell me when you fell in love with Me just going to go to 45 from here. When did you know you were in love with me?
C
When. When watching you babysit like a stalker through the window. Now we were going babysit together, like, or I would come over while you were babysitting or initially. And I would come over and help you. And then I just saw, like, how, how good you were with, like other kids and how fun I was. Just how I could tell, like, really early on that you had like a gift with children. And then they were like.
B
Because I was watching six at a time.
C
Yeah. And I don't know, like, I just, I, I. That was like a really good quality and someone that. Which definitely grew my fondness for you, like, a lot deeper because, like, obviously I know that I knew that I wanted to, you know, get married, have a family. And I don't know, I feel like it's very rare nowadays for like, not all kid. Not all kids are like college students or whatever. Like, really, like, drawn and like, want to be around kids. They're kind of a little bit more self absorbed. And you weren't like that at all.
B
Isn't it funny that. That those moments are like the same moments of like, when we both fell in love with each other?
C
Yeah. It's almost like. It's almost like we're. It's like, without saying should be taken weird, but it's almost like we were playing house. Like, it almost like gave you an idea of what it would be like if we had kids.
B
Well, I wasn't thinking that at the moment.
C
I was.
B
What?
C
Yeah, like, okay, like, if I. Dude.
B
I was like 20 years old.
C
I was thinking that if I marry this girl and we like, have a family, like, this is what she's going to be like with.
B
You were really thinking that at like 20 years old.
C
Yeah. That's when I already took you going our first day with my parents.
B
That's hilarious. Adam. Man, if I would have known all that in the beginning, that would have totally scared me.
C
That's why I always keep my cards to my chips. I don't tell everybody what's on my mind.
B
Totally makes sense.
C
People think I'm a psychopath. So I don't know if that cut out. Said the camera was overheating.
B
You were talking about how you were secretly.
C
Yeah, like psycho. I, I'm. That's not. That's not soccer.
B
What did you say?
C
That's not a psycho.
B
That's just, just a deep lover. Secret lover.
C
I think ahead. Like, I'm at that point in my Life. I wasn't going to get into a relationship with somebody that I didn't see marrying.
B
But is it weird to think about, like, we were only 20, and, like, Blake's 14, and, like, that's still so young. Like, could you imagine?
C
I mean, most people get married a lot later in life nowadays, and, like.
B
We have six daughters. Like, can you imagine, like, right out of high school being like, I want to get married?
C
Yeah. That's crazy.
B
I mean, in my life, I mean, I can see it, but, like, you had parents at home and stuff, and it's like, I can't imagine just, like, letting my kid. My world was different. I was already out on my own, you know? Oh, man. But I do think it is very interesting that I didn't know. I mean, I know now, but, like, I didn't know at the time when I was falling in love with you, from those kind of, like, visual things, that that was the same for you, you know? So I think that was a beautiful kind of, like, story. Like, the story of us.
C
So how we knew, huh? Said how we knew.
B
Yeah. And then, like, these next couple questions, it all makes sense of, like, you. Who kissed you for who kissed first? Like, you said, I love you first because you're like, I love this girl. I love you. I'm gonna kiss you first. I'm like, let's get married. What's that song? Let's get. Get that song physical. No, Mary.
C
Let's get physical.
B
I'm sure you were thinking that, too.
C
Well, that's funny. Yeah. My mind went in a completely different direction, obviously.
B
Of course it did. Who is. I don't remember whose question this is. Wait, I think it's mine. Who's most likely to clean the house first? Like, do you even have to answer that question?
C
No, that's you.
B
Duh. Where? This is for you. Where does your spouse buy most of his or her clothing? Nowhere. Because she doesn't shop anymore. Because she doesn't have a boutique anymore. What would you say I shop If I buy clothes, where would it be from? Mostly I don't even know the answer to that question.
C
Like, you like Altered Stay? Is it Altered Stay?
B
That's. I go there with Blake for you.
C
Now. You go there a lot.
B
I remember that was the last place.
C
I did buy something I bought, like, anthropology. You like kind of that. Yeah, I like Amber. Yeah.
B
Can't really even tell you the last time I really went shopping. For me. Okay, so this is for me. What's your spouse's favorite color? Let's say blue because he likes to wear blue because it makes his eyes so sexy, like he says. But he wears black all the time because he's a photographer. That's what they do.
C
That's what he said. He remembered.
B
That's what he says.
C
All right. My favorite color is black. I do like orange, and I like blue.
B
Yeah, you like orange. Just because it's embarrassing.
C
Embarrassing.
B
Yeah, because it's loud. What's the number one thing in life your spouse would love to get? That's good. That's for you.
C
You would love to get, like, as a gift.
B
I don't know.
C
Or just, like, achieve that can go multiple directions.
B
That's the. The question is, what's the number one thing in life your spouse would love to get?
C
I mean, if it's.
B
I mean, if you're thinking, like, in life, achievements, I don't know. But if you're just thinking, I don't know which way you're going, which way to go with that.
C
It would be like some sort of handbag. If it's just, like, a gift.
B
Okay, I'll think it was that. I like bags.
C
So, like, whenever. Like when we go to Vegas and.
B
Stuff, I like bags.
C
I like, the only thing that's, like, walking in and looking at handbags for forever. I just go stand out in the hallway. Wait.
B
All right, my question is, where's the first place you vacation together? Oh, gosh.
C
New Orleans.
B
New Orleans. Was it New Orleans trip?
C
Which is a horrible trip, that trip?
B
I don't know. It's got shot.
C
I think we. I think we did talk about that one time.
B
We did talk about. I think we did talk about that on the podcast where we got.
C
Where we first got into New Orleans. I mean, this was, like, before we were dating. This was, like, before, like, GPS and all that. Like, where I had a flip phone. You just didn't have, like, GPS on your phone like you do on your iPhone right now. And so, like, I think we had printed directions. And so, like, we pulled in, like.
B
We had, like, MapQuest printed.
C
Yeah, we, like, stopped to ask for directions because something didn't make sense. And we were, like, in a rough part of New Orleans. And I got out, and I walked into this gas station, and the guy that worked in there was, like. I swear the glass that he was behind was this thick, which I don't.
B
Know why that didn't, like, alarm us.
C
And. And he immediately looks. He's like, ringing somebody up. And I walk through the door, and he looks at me and points at Me. He's like, you get out. Just get in your car and drive that way. He's like, you shouldn't be here. Yes, sir. Young and naive.
B
Yeah.
C
I mean, when you grow up in, like, a smaller town and you just bust up in New Orleans in, like, one of the roughest areas in New Orleans, apparently that's where we were at.
B
It's probably where Theo Vaughan grew up at. Okay, this one's for you. What's the thing your spouse has done that surprised you? What's one thing your spouse has done that surprised you? I know there's plenty that's for you. For you. What's one thing your spouse has done that surprised you?
C
I mean, I could say. I could say one thing, but I don't think you want to talk about that on the podcast. What I would say, like, taking on, like, writing these books just completely on your own and just, like, flying blind. I mean, that surprised me. Like, you literally just, like, completely took that on your own and, like. I mean, reached out and, like, found, like, illustrators and doing all this work and stuff, and, like, kind of working on that late at night while I was already in bed, and, like, like, all this kind of stuff, like, you just go right in and, like, you were determined and just did. It surprised me that you just went after it that, like. And you weren't, I mean, obviously, completely flying blind.
B
What was the other thing you wanted to say? You going to keep it secret?
C
It was sex related. Okay, well, okay. I'm just going to leave it at that.
B
Okay. Okay.
C
Okay.
B
Next. Next question is, what's one thing that irritates you about your spouse? It says, be nice when he opens up mail. What do you do when you open up a package or you open up mail? You just. You do, like this. You're like, oh, look. Oh, cool. Oh. Oh, my God. Cool. And then you walk away. Like, just throw it away. Put the box in the trash. All right, next one. What's the. Adam, what's the best thing about being married? It says to each other, but I don't know why I would have to say to each other, because who else are you married to?
C
I would say, like, having someone a lot of times that kind of knows what you're thinking or how you feel, even though, like, you don't necessarily articulate it. Someone that just, like, knows you better than anyone else and, you know, having someone that you're kind of just doing life together and it's got really dark. What was the question?
B
It's the best. It's the best thing about being married to each other?
C
Having just someone that completely, like, kind of fully, like, knows you and understands you and those can give you, like, insight and about your own life, but then that you can also have sex with.
B
These questions are so stupid. It's like, how does it go from that question to what's your spouse's favorite ice cream flavor? So your favorite ice cream flavor Sometimes you like just vanilla or you like coffee ice cream?
C
I would say if we go somewhere to get ice cream, I usually get.
B
Like a coffee or coffee.
C
Nine times out of 10, I get like coffee, coffee flavored ice cream. Asia can't pass up coffee ice cream.
B
Right. That's gross.
C
Not to me.
B
What was your spouse's very first job? What was my first job? Buzz?
C
Babysitting. Yeah.
B
If you're at a restaurant, what drink would your spouse order?
C
Chicken. Oh, wait, that's for me. That's for you.
B
First off, a drink is not chicken drink. It says drink.
C
Oh, drink.
B
You would order a water. But if you were going to get a drink, you drink.
C
There's two that come to mind. They're like my two go tos.
B
It would be a beer.
C
No.
B
Well, it depends on where you're at, though. It's kind of hard.
C
I'm thinking like a nice restaurant.
B
Oh, you're gonna get a dirty martini with blue cheese, olives and then a nice red wine.
C
Right.
B
What's the other one besides the red wine? Oh, old fashioned.
C
Yeah.
B
Yeah. So cocktails, not just like. Yeah, okay, what would be mine?
C
Like a, like a white wine? Like a sauvignon blanc or like a margarita type. Some variation of a margarita.
B
You know, like ranch water or. I like gin martinis. Yeah, I like martinis because I like. I like gin martinis and stuff because I like the cups and I really want the cut more than I want the tree. The glass. I think that was all these questions on here.
C
All right, so that was today's episode. Something easy that we can do for a podcast. Helps you get to know us a little bit better. Some of you guys that have been following us for, like, forever may have known quite a few of those. Maybe.
B
Maybe some of them I didn't even know my own answer to. I needed Adam to tell me.

But, you know, obviously it's a really a much easier podcast to do while we're in the car. So it's just one of those things of just being. Having a busy life, raising a ton of kids. Sometimes we just don't have all the time in the world. Like, crazy meetings, big meetings for our family pop up on days that we would normally film the podcast. And so, yeah, so we have to do this, even though I think it's crazy about doing this, but.
B
Oh, he's. Adam is such a perfectionist. He's like, the lighting, the sound. Look, it got dark all of a sudden. That cloud where it gets all worried.
C
About the light constantly changing.
B
It's so fun.
C
It's okay to light, actually. And then you have, like. And then you have, like, road noise. So I have to, like, run everything through an additional filter.
B
Bothered by the lighting? Who. Who cares so much about the lighting? I know there's a couple of you that do it. They're like, oh, my God, your face is dark like that. I know there's a couple of you. But more than anything, podcast is for listening, not for watching. But some of y' all watch it, which we appreciate, right?
C
Yeah.
B
So thank y' all for tuning in.
