In the fifth episode in the second season of "The Poisoning," we return to the pond, where Kerri Arsenault, author of Mill Town, joins me for a stroll along a nice trail. We get tailed by cops, smell a bad smell, and gossip about how cute beavers are. Then suddenly—although I feel like a jerk for not knowing this was coming—we can't do anything else, and the season ends with several questions unanswered.

In the fourth episode in the second season of My Inevitable Murder, "The Poisoning," we look at oxycodone, the opioid. Who takes it? And why do so many die with it in their systems? Special thanks to interview subject Maya Schenwar and fiction writer Dia Felix, who look at different aspects of drug use in very different ways.

Our third episode offers an unprecedented glimpse into the history of oxycodone. It's weird! And so much darker than I expected when I started looking into it! New episodes release Mondays. Transcripts: https://www.patreon.com/myinevitablemurder. More: https://www.tinkertownprovisions.com

Maybe you were surprised when, in our first episode, a very cute fishing expedition with two very smart boys dropped us on the doorstep of the opioid crisis. If so, don't worry! Our second episode is all about cows. And the significant role their loss plays in opioid production. Episodes release Mondays. Transcripts: https://www.patreon.com/myinevitablemurder.
