A mass shooting in Shreveport, Louisiana, was one of the worst domestic violence incidences in recent history. A father of 7 killed his children and their mother, along with one other child. 5. Senate Majority Leader John Thune has shelved the SAVE Act in favor of other legislation that has a better chance at passing. The bill would have disenfranchised 10s of millions of Americans of their right to vote.

6. Tucker Carlson apologizes for “misleading people” about Donald Trump.

7. The Southern Poverty Law Center has been indicted over their alleged use of paid informants to infiltrate white supremecist, and other extremist groups.

8. Virginia voters passed a redistricting measure on Tuesday, giving Democrats an advantage in the upcoming midterm election. 10 out of 11 available congressional seats are expected to go to Democrats.
