Grab a beer and join us tonight as we cover the Siders family! On June 30th, 2026, sheriff's deputies and state agents went to a house on Ohmer Street in Hamden, Ohio, a village of about 700 people in Vinton County, to serve a warrant on something unrelated. What they found inside was 16 children, ages roughly 18 months to 18, allegedly kept for most of four years in one small room in filth. Four adults were arrested, the grandparents, and the kids' mom and dad. Tonight we get into how a family of 20 ended up in that house, the marriage at the root of it that started when the mom was 15, the homeschool loophole that kept these kids off everyone's radar, and the county-by-county gaps in Ohio's child services that let it go this long. Then, Danny Masterson is asking the California court of appeals to overturn his 2023 rape conviction, arguing his trial lawyer failed to call key witnesses and put on evidence that could have cleared him. Grab a beer and join us tonight as we cover Steven Pladl! In 1998, Steven and his wife put their infant daughter up for adoption, and a family in New York raised her as Katie Fusco. Eighteen years later, after she turned 18, Katie reached out to her biological parents and moved in with them. Within months Steven left his wife, and what developed between him and Katie is the reason this case exists. They married in 2017, lying on the paperwork about being related. They had a son. They were arrested for incest in early 2018 once it all came to light. Tonight we get into how it happened, the abuse in Steven's past, and the bond decision that left him on the street. Grab a beer and join us tonight for another installment of Necro Overtime! First, a downed US F-15 pilot, rescued after being shot down over Iran back in April, told intelligence officials he saw something strange before he ejected: multiple Iranian drones hovering in the air, moving as one, in a formation that resembled a jellyfish. Then, a Cornell paper that figured out why AI chatbots, when asked to write a story, keep inventing the same character. His name is Elias Thorne, he's almost always a lighthouse keeper, and he shows up in two-thirds of all the stories these things generate. And Gary just settling into a quiet third marriage while the whole thing went dormant. Sponsored Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
