Over the last year, real estate has had to grapple with this reality: the reputation of one agent can turn into sweeping rulings that affect us all. One bad transaction can easily become a bill that’s slated against every practitioner in our industry.

In light of the NAR settlement, it's more important than ever for this industry to think about the reputation we have with consumers and legislators. Once this starts to slip, it can quickly undo all the freedoms we get to enjoy as independent, self-driven professionals with no income limits.

This is something real estate associations like Nevada REALTORS® are thinking about and working on tirelessly.
