Eliza Frosparetti (2:27)
Oh, what an honor. We've known each other for quite a long time, so I'm so glad to see this project come to fruition to be able to talk about it with you. So let's start by having you introduce yourself to us.
Mariam Goschadze (2:41)
Yeah, so I'm currently based in Leipzig University, where I am an assistant professor, junior professor in German terms, in the history of religions. I met the religious Studies department. I was born and raised in the Republic of Georgia and I moved around quite a bit during my education years. I spent a bit of time in Europe. I did my BA in history at American University in Bulgaria and my first master's degree in nationalism at Central European University. And after that I moved to the US where I did my second master's degree in the study of religion, where I stayed as well. And finally my PhD career took place at Harvard University where I was part of the committee on this study of religion.
