As we continue our study in Hebrews we come this week to a difficult and challenging section. Here the author calls on his readers to proactive maturity. These verses will challenge us to ask how we respond in the midst of challenges. As we will see the truth of Jesus motivates us to pursue active growth in our lives! Hebrews 5:11-6:12

Have you ever wrestled with the reality that despite God being perfect, you are not? Do you struggle to understand God’s grace in light of your own frequent missteps? This Sunday we will address how God answers our doubts by reminding us that Jesus is our Eternal High Priest who has provided Eternal Salvation! Hebrews 5:1-10

This week we are continuing our study of Hebrews 4 where we will see a new theme being taught: Jesus the Great High Priest. This passage can be difficult because it talks about Jesus in a way that may feel foreign to us. To help us we will answer two questions: what does it mean that Jesus is our great high priest? And, how should we respond in light of this truth? Hebrews 4:14-16

The topic of Hebrews 4 is God's Rest. Given the chaos all around us today, we sure need some rest! But when we read the chapter, it seems quite confusing because God's Rest is described as past, present, and future. Which is it? And how does it apply to me? Come to New King this Sunday and together, we'll study God's Rest by answering four questions from this chapter: What is God's Rest? How do we get it? How do we lose it? How do we maintain it? (Hebrews 4:1-13)

This week we’ll continue in Hebrews as we wrap up chapter 3. We’ll see how we are called to hold fast to Jesus by listening to His voice and encouraging one another. We can’t wait to see you there! Hebrews 3:7-19

This week we will be studying a new theme in the book of Hebrews. In chapter 3 the author begins to tell his audience that Jesus is greater than Moses, for that reason they must remain steadfast to their heavenly calling and faith in Jesus. Hebrews 3:1-6

Have you ever found it difficult to trust Jesus with the things going on in your life? This week in Hebrews chapter 2 we will see the author give his readers several reasons to pursue perseverance because of who Jesus is. Hebrews 2:5-18

As we continue our study in Hebrews we have reached the first warning passage in the letter. Here the author takes time to encourage his audience to stay committed to the Gospel. While we study these verses we will also be asking ourselves how is it that we are being called to remain committed to the Gospel here in Vermont.

We are now into our second week in our sermon series on Hebrews. Having studied the introduction last Sunday we will now continue our study seeing how Jesus is presented as greater than God’s angels. Here we will see how Jesus is the Son of God whose reign has no end. We can’t wait to study Hebrews and see how God’s word guides us in our lives today!

This week we are beginning a new series in the book of Hebrews. Here we will see how Jesus is the ultimate and final expression of the complete nature of God. We will also see how the sufficiency of the work of Christ inspires us towards faithfulness in the midst of temptation and suffering. Hebrews 1:1-4
