Okay, have you heard about this? Last year, Degree changed the formula for their Cool Rush deodorant. Their fans rebelled and wanted the old scent back and Degree listened. That doesn't happen often. They admitted that they effed up and are bringing the original Cool Rush scent back. And it's exactly how you remember it. Cool, crisp and fresh. There's a reason it's the number one men's antiperspirant and it's back in Walmart, Target and other stores for under dollar. So try it and see what the fuss is about. Head to your local stores to try the OG Cool Rush for yourself at.

Who Winning Man? Who winning the west or Joey Badass?
Rory Farrell
I know people are going to think.
Malcolm
All right, my bad.
Damaris
I'm asking you. The west or Joey Badass?
Rory Farrell
Same way the Knicks are the greatest dynasty in NBA history. That's over here. I'm. I'm taking my bias hat off now. Joey Badass is cleaning up the whole west coast right now by himself.
Damaris
Damn.
Rory Farrell
Does Joey Badass even need to reply?
Damaris
Let me snitch.
Rory Farrell
This is kind like I'm being truthful here. And I know we already have that stigma on us that we dislike TDE in the west coast, which is completely false if you look in the fucking fact.
Malcolm
That's just so stupid.
Rory Farrell
My 10 favorite albums of last year, 4 out of the 5 were from the West Coast. 5 out of the 10 were in the West coast or TDE. So fuck all that and biases and comments under this. Let's go with facts. Rayvon had a great response. I liked it. Joey Badass barred him the fuck up. And then Daylight, who I came on this last episode, who I think is one of the greatest battle rappers that's ever existed. He's a different type of tier. Put out a fucking dud that I don't even know if Joey needs to reply. And I know Joey is mad at home because all he wanted to do was reply to Daylight. I'm sure he has records already recorded about. Daylight even said in his Ray Vaughan reply, I'm done with you, Ray. I only want to focus on Daylight. He's on my level. I know Joey and his team are sitting in the studio right now going, I mean, do we even put these out? Do we even engage in this? Joey cleaned all of you up. Reason I loved your reply. I was one that encouraged you on air, on Twitter. Love, I love your response, but yours is also kind of to the the side of the back and forth. He deserved to be entered into the chat with that and he smoked it. But I don't consider it the back and forth if we're going just based off everyone that's trying to jump Joey from the West Coast. You guys are losing.
Malcolm
Bad az.
Rory Farrell
You have my favorite. Not az, Brooklyn az, LA az. You had my favorite feature on gnx. I even did some weird and followed you on Instagram the day GNX game. I was like, this guy is fire. You make great music. Stick to that. I don't need to hear your battle raps. You didn't do a dent. Daylight, one of the greatest battle rappers of all time.
Malcolm
It was cool. It's not enough.
Rory Farrell
It was underwhelming by Daylight standards. There was. There was definitely some cool bars in there, don't get me wrong. But nah, Daylight is Daylight. I think Daylight second verse on backpack is 10 times better than his full dis that he just put out to to Joey. Joey Badass is smoking the entire west coast right now.
Malcolm
Well, don't say the entire West Coast. Talk about everybody.
Rory Farrell
Everyone's trying to jump him.
Malcolm
Everybody he's speaking to and about.
Rory Farrell
Yeah, you know, I'm talking about everyone.
Malcolm
That'S trying to get in the ring with him. Yeah, yeah.
Rory Farrell
And they. They posted the whole timeline of the amount of people that's replied. Joey is by himself. And this isn't going to be on the West Coast. This is also going to be a homie court moment for our city. Thank God Joey handled this by himself because this could have got bad. Nobody is with us. Joey is by him fucking self.
Damaris
And I don't blame him.
Rory Farrell
He's getting jumped and holding his own while the rest of us in New York City are just waiting on the Pacers. Yeah, we also have a fight going on over here in New York City.
Damaris
No, no, no, no, no. Because I love Joey.
Rory Farrell
Action Bronson, somebody.
Damaris
No, you don't get to go. Go to these people party, stab three of they n and then be like, yo, out of nowhere, stab three of they n. Ain't nobody helping me. We came here to party. You over here fighting with these, and now they jumping on you. No, I'm not helping you. I'm not coming out of the. I'm not stopping talking to the bad. Because you wanted to start a fight in the party when nobody was with you.
Malcolm
Yeah, but the thing. You're not talking to the Maris. Joey don't need no help.
Damaris
He don't need no help. But you can't be mad at rappers for not doing.
Malcolm
He ain't. Joey ain't mad, man. Listen, man, Joey is out rapping all of y' all. It just is what it is.
Damaris
Oh, show.
Rory Farrell
No, but. All right, I hear you. But I've had friends that I know can fight really well, and when they get in an issue, I know they don't need my help, but that's still my man's. So I'll hold your jacket. Don't ruin that jacket. I got you, bro. I'm still going to be right there with you. You don't need my help. I Will make sure that the car is ready to go because someone's going to call the cops. There's still ways to be a present friend when you know your man's can hold it down. Like, oh, and also, can we show some unity? Also, everybody, Jalen Brunson, talk to somebody in the rap community in New York City.
Damaris
Everybody talking about where Griselda. Where Stove got. No, we live in Canada, remember? We not New Yorkers.
Malcolm
I don't know. I don't. I don't know who asking for Griselda. But one thing y' all, whoever said that y' all do not want Conway and Benny to start rapping, but they're.
Damaris
Saying is they're like, come help.
Rory Farrell
Come help start rapping.
Malcolm
Yeah, y' all don't want.
Damaris
They're like, come. Come help us. Come help us. No, no, no, no, no. Y' all tell us we're not New Yorkers all the time.
Malcolm
Listen, Joey Badass is out rapping all y' all. Daylight, one of my favorite battle rappers. And I was anticipating hearing what he had to say in all of this and what he was gonna come out. I was very underwhelmed, Very underwhelmed by the video, the song he dropped.
Rory Farrell
I didn't even like the beat flip.
Malcolm
I don't like the way they chopped the sample. And it's crazy because in speaking to some rappers and some artists, you know, while this is going on, a few of them definitely was like, yo, Daylight is not built for this. And on that stage, on that battle rap stage with no beat. Oh, yeah. But now when you got to put a beat on and you got to have flow and you got to do, it's a little different.
Rory Farrell
But if you remember last episode when I was bigging up Daylight, I said him and Surf are the only two battle rappers that I also like their music, like, they make. That's why I was so terrified for Joey. I feel I don't even wanna listen back to our last episode of how much I was like, I'm really terrified for Joey Badass. I think Daylight is the worst opponent you could run into. Cause he can do both things. And now I feel stupid as a huge Daylight fan.
Malcolm
I feel dumb as a Daylight. As somebody that always wants to hear what Daylight has to say and appreciate his rhymes and his battles. I was very underwhelmed at this attempt.
Rory Farrell
Okay. I mean, I know Peach is gonna clip this up and Daylit's probably gonna end up hating us, but let's still do it for the.
Malcolm
Daylit is crazy. That's.
Rory Farrell
Why did I say they like, listen, man, I'm dyslexic. Okay? We were having a conversation off mic because Daylight did say that this was kind of just warming up like the first round type. I don't like in this microwave era of people's attention spans being so short. Why are you wasting around like, now? Joey doesn't even need to reply. Why didn't you get all your out on the first. First one? To some degree. He's saying it's just a warm up. I don't even know if we're gonna get to the next round again.
Malcolm
Because you started. The game has started. This ain't the layup line. The game has started.
Rory Farrell
He was trying to elude in that reply, like, yo, we just getting started. It's a warm up. I'm not even going crazy.
Malcolm
Ain't no warm up. But the game is.
Rory Farrell
Oh, like, I'm not saying use all your. Obviously Art of War, but out the gate now. Joey does not need to reply. I don't think anyone would be like, damn, Joey's scared of Daylight.
Malcolm
Joey, don't. Don't respond. Don't respond. Joey Badass does not need to respond. This is over. It was cool while it lasted. Got the Internet going. You know, rap people got in the booth. I respect it. But this is not. It's. It's. They. Y' all. Y' all can't rap with Joey Badass. Y' all can't. And I going into this, I expected this to be much more entertaining, much closer. But after listening to everything over the weekend and now hearing Daylight, you know, when he dropped today. He dropped it today. Right, Right.
Rory Farrell
Hour before we started recording.
Malcolm
It's just not.
Rory Farrell
If I missed a bunch of entendres. Cool. Because we just started recording. But also that, like, I'm still of the belief that diss records and battle rap records still need to have some level of surface. Like, it can be certain shit needs to hit.
Malcolm
It can be too cerebral. It has to be. Yeah, more cool, has to be more witty. It has to be more clever. It has to be, you know, those types of things. And I get it. With Daylight, he's. You know, he just thinks on a different level. But it has to connect, though. Like, it has to connect. Like, don't. Don't break it down for me on. On a. On a podcast and tell me bars that he said and why he said it. If I. If it don't hit when I'm listening to it and the song is on all this Other shit after, it's like, I get it, but it just don't land. It didn't land. That shit is not landing. Joey went in there and he had style, he had clever shit, he had cool shit. He had. He checked all the boxes. When you want to, you know, like, it's again, this is a friendly fade. This is just like going at some guys and testing the pen and seeing who got what, you know. But I mean, it's clear after this, you know, Joey Badass is out rapping all of y' all.
Rory Farrell
And I mean, your point before, I think Daylight absolutely can rap with Joey Badass. So if he puts out another reply tomorrow and it's good, does Joey have to reply?
Malcolm
No.
Rory Farrell
Even if it's really good?
Malcolm
No.
Rory Farrell
Because I think Daylight can save this if he quickly comes back with more of a haymaker and kind of forces. Because Joey was the one saying, with Ray Von Shit, I only want to Daylight. That's who I want to battle.
Malcolm
Yeah, but we got the record, so now you don't get to get the record. People respond to it. Don't like. Well, again, we responded to it. I don't know what other people feel about it. They may love it, they may think it's incredible. I'm just saying we responded to it. We don't think it's worth responding to. It's like. And you saying it was the warm up game one, whatever. So what is it? Daylight and Six? Are we going that route? Like, come on, fam.
Rory Farrell
Like, we this if he changes the energy by coming right back with something that absolutely hits, that forces Joey hit. And at that point, Joey listen is what Joey wanted to smoke.
Malcolm
Listen, I'm all for people putting out dope rhymes and dope records. Cool. Whenever you want to put it out, whether you battle or whatever, I'm going to listen to it. But I don't think that Joey has to sit back and be like, okay, I'll respond to that one. But then it's like, what are we doing at this point? Like, you just going to just drop a record until you get a reaction?
Rory Farrell
And I guess I don't know what I'm trying to figure out too outside looking in as someone that really, with Daylight, what was the strategy here? Because you came to New York and shot the video, you definitely put a lot into this. Why wouldn't that be the haymaker? If you're gonna do all of this with a video, fly to New York, do this entire thing. Why wouldn't that be the joint? Why not do a Temperature check. Throw it out real quick. And then the haymaker. Be the one that you come to New York and shoot everything. It kind of just felt like a waste of time.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
If you are gonna continue, why wouldn't. Like, you're. You shot a video and you're talking about, like, this is just the first round. Like, I'm just chilling. Then why are you on the A train right now? Yeah, like, do that for the one.
Malcolm
Yeah. This is. It's not. And it's no chilling. What is this chilling you keep talking about? Like, the fight is on. The fight has started.
Rory Farrell
And you know what? I also don't like in battle rap. And this is speaking as a fan, like, unfortunately, there is no real rules in battle rap. Rest in peace To Capital Steve's condolences to his entire family. I don't think it was crazy that Daylight brought him up. He posted a photo. We knew it was coming. Given this whole cryptic about why Steve's jumped off and knowing something about Joey. Like, if you don't really have information about that, don't set up that scheme because now you have to tell us. You have to finish that ball.
Malcolm
And don't give me a cliffhanger for song too. Like, no.
Rory Farrell
And if you don't really have something, that's going to be crazy. Now. I feel like, all right, now you're wasting even going over the line because that's what battle rap does. Now you're even wasting something on the capital C shit. And you don't really have any information. You're trying to make us think you have something. I don't. Personally, I just don't think I could be completely wrong. Play this clip. When I'm wrong. I don't think Daylight has some crazy info that capital Steez offed himself because of something that Joey did or knew about. Joey, like, I just don't believe that. Just my gut tells me that I think he was probably going through a lot of things that people go through. So if you're setting that up and Daylight being the master of this craft the way he is, if you don't have the info, don't set the scheme up that way.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
Cause now you. Now you can't just leave that. Now you have to tell us what that is.
Malcolm
I think that what Daylight does best is perform battle rap. It's obviously different on a beat, a record. Now if Joey and Daylight are on stage, no beat, and just, you know, able to go at each other, I think that Daylight fares way different in that type of environment. I just think now you talking about making a song and beat and, you know, music, and I just think that's a little. It's more elements added to it. So Daylight is not gonna look as good as Joey does in that, because this is what Joey does. Joey makes songs, he makes music. He raps, you know, on beat and things like that now on stage. And you let Daylight just have his time and let him perform and let him get into his antics and, you know, get into his theatrics. I think that that's the better environment for Daylight. But this what Daylight did. As somebody that loves Daylight and with him, you know, love his. His rhymes and his battles, I was very disappointed and underwhelmed at. What is the name of this word to my mother. Something like that.
Rory Farrell
I think that's what it.
Damaris
Or something like. That's weird.
Rory Farrell
Whatever. Whatever the corny New York jokes they make on.
Malcolm
Yeah, I don't know how you even say it, but I was disappointed. I'm not gonna lie. I was a very, very disappointed.
Rory Farrell
I do want to challenge west coast media, West Coast Twitter, west coast rappers, west coast execs. I came in here and ate humble pie multiple times to say that 2024 was the greatest year I've ever seen a coast have, down to the point that I came in here. Like, even their MLS team won the championship. Like, dog, what the fuck? We cannot beat la. They had a fucking year. I came in here and Dodgers, yes, they won everything.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
Came in here and gave them their props. Objectively, I know you guys are still on your victory lap. I get it. West coast had a moment. I need you guys to be the objective people that you claim to be. Joey Badass by himself is cooking everybody.
Malcolm
That's a fact.
Rory Farrell
You guys are rap fans, ones I respect. I know deep down in your soul, you know, Joey Badass is cooking everybody. And I need you guys. I need you guys show how objective you guys claim to be.
Malcolm
Wilson, what you. What you think about? What you think about? Joey ready to start EVR all over again? Ready to go back to East Village radio?
Rory Farrell
I like East Village radio.
Malcolm
I love East Village radio.
Rory Farrell
Walk up in the street and watch it.
Malcolm
Joey might be in his. Yeah, he might be in the city.
Rory Farrell
No worry.
Malcolm
And now.
Rory Farrell
All right, so do we want to start with this or do we want to get to Homie Court?
Malcolm
Nah, let's start with this.
Rory Farrell
Okay, we'll go.
Malcolm
This is going to parlay us into Homie Court, though. This is going to parlay us.
Damaris
I'll read this. Do you want back? You want backstory?
Rory Farrell
Give some backstory.
Damaris
Okay, so I woke up first thing in the morning and I'm not going.
Rory Farrell
To say anything like I did in that clip.
Damaris
Okay. I woke up and there is a clip page that clips, you know, they wake up the moment we drop. They clip anything that they think can be inflammatory. So they made a clip of inflammatory story. They made a clip of me standing up for women. And a little bit of the Cardi conversation was in it and then it got cut out.
Rory Farrell
I love how you just worded that. They clipped me standing up for women. That wasn't the headline.
Damaris
They clipped me. Being an advocate and a little bit of when Rory said is Cardi gonna take accountability? They clipped and then like left like the rest of the context out. They didn't hear like mall really on Cardi. Like they didn't hear any of that, right?
Rory Farrell
Oh, we're getting to homie court early.
Malcolm
So I, I did not on get there.
Damaris
So that clip kind of went viral. Cardi's fans got a hold of it and Cardi obviously saw it and she felt some type of way because all she saw was Rory saying is Cardi gonna take accountability? Right? So she then drops in her broadcast on ig basically a paragraph saying no sympathy. Cuz I live and learn. I've been through worse in life but I went through so much and deceit and I don't tell my story and put these nasty on blast. Cuz I seen God handle every woman and the men that put tears in my eyes and pain in my heart in the worst way. When a white Rory talking about I need to be held accountable for he don't know one thing about it really makes me see red. This is not a competition. This is me taking baby steps to finally feeling happy. Seeing my sky blue with birds and trees again. Damn the dick good. Seeing my sky blue with birds and trees again of rainy instead of rainy days. I feel lightweight, motivated, in love with life, in love with love, in love with my career and most importantly, in love with my three kids no matter what. Shut the up you white before I light a match up your ass.
Malcolm
That's so like poetic.
Rory Farrell
All right, so I feel like my ass needs to be in the rafters at this point because Nikki put a broomstick up there and now Cardi B is putting a match.
Malcolm
Cardi's gonna like the, you know, the, the end of the broom that's hanging out your ass. Cardi's gonna like that.
Rory Farrell
All right, let's, let's Find the positives here. Can we be happy that I'll take the credit? You know what? Fuck it. I'm tired of being humble. I will take the credit in finding the one thing Cardi B and Nicki Minaj can agree on. And it's that I'm a white that deserves something in his ass.
Malcolm
Okay.
Rory Farrell
I ended the Nikki and Cardi beef based off their mutual hate. Hate for me. In agreement that I should not be speaking about anything cultural.
Malcolm
Right.
Rory Farrell
So, yeah, I take pride in that. Okay. I think that's like something that I contributed to the culture. I brought Cardi and Nikki together. If you guys can never agree on anything else over here, at least we can find this place.
Damaris
Yeah, I never.
Rory Farrell
We come together here. We know.
Malcolm
Yes.
Rory Farrell
That we dislike this.
Malcolm
Share the same. Yes.
Damaris
You deserve to be sodomized. Yeah, I. I haven't seen.
Rory Farrell
Deserve to be sodomized is hilarious.
Damaris
I see Barbs and Bardi gang agree on anything ever in life. And they were. You had.
Rory Farrell
It takes a special type of complexion.
Damaris
To do that on your ass. I was like, I mean, in your ass, apparently. It was absolutely insane.
Rory Farrell
Well, what's funny is I'm still trying to get like some free data in my phone from the Swifties. What I also found funny is that the Swifties and what's. What's Cardi's Bar Gang, Barty Gang and the Swifties also agree with something. That I'm a white bitch. Yeah.
Malcolm
Yes.
Rory Farrell
Yo, the Swifties are more racist than Barbara. I got called more racial things by the Swifties than anyone in Party Gang.
Damaris
Because they want to call you a. But they can't.
Malcolm
Yeah, exactly. So they call you white bitch instead.
Rory Farrell
And you know it's a white person behind the account.
Malcolm
100%.
Damaris
Exactly.
Malcolm
Self hate. Love it.
Rory Farrell
It's definitely self hate.
Malcolm
Yeah, absolutely.
Damaris
But I, I got. I got them up off your ass. I stood up for you.
Rory Farrell
Yes, Cardi did apologize. She said, oh, sorry, Rory, but it's. I understand. She. We all see clips and take things out of context and then she saw the real clip and you know, Smoke went to mall. But I'm here to disappoint like all of the Internet streets with like maturity. I know this was like a green light. I even saw the comments. For the first time ever, people were on my side like, damn, that was up. You didn't even say anything. Finally, this could be my moment to be like all the other media personalities and scream at the top of my fucking lungs. And I'd be right.
Malcolm
Right?
Rory Farrell
Women. Fucking women.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
Yeah, I could be that guy. I could threaten her, all that. But I did not go that route. Cardi B and I spoke, okay. For the whole afternoon. I won't reveal the entire conversation. It's a private conversation, but we had a great talk. And I think that can also happen in media. We don't all need to just scream at the camera because we get one little green light from one miscommunication. Now it's like, well, you can't dictate how someone replies, right? I can. Yeah. I can reach out. And I don't think it compromised anything. If Cardi B puts out a bad song that I don't like, I'll say I don't like it. It's not a great song.
Damaris
It's never happened, though.
Rory Farrell
That is. I mean, I agree, but I'm saying nothing was compromised because we had a great conversation and spoke.
Malcolm
I thought that was.
Rory Farrell
If there's going to be. If she puts out a great song, I say it's great. Bad song. Say it's bad. But I also think there's a world where people, especially if we are talking about Cardi B's personal life, has every right to have an opinion about how I speak about that. I'm talking about her life. So having a private convo with her that was calm and super positive and came to an understanding, that's fine, too.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
We don't need to take these moments to just scream at the top of our lungs for clicks for one day, and then it's going to move on to the next person that's screaming at a woman.
Malcolm
Yeah, it's.
Rory Farrell
I just don't see anything in it. And I know all the Internet comments are going to be like, oh, it's compromised now. Trying to be cool, Cardi. Like, that's. That's so corny. I just think it was a cool human moment. She's going through something. We spoke about it. I talked to her about it, found understanding. We'll still always be objective. But it doesn't have to be a green light to start screaming at Cardi B now, because she said white bitch. And I also believe in double standards for everyone in that comments. What if Rory said black bitch? I'd say, get Rory the fuck out the paint. Like, double standards. I'm a big advocate of double standards. Double standards exist, absolutely. No, Cardi B calling me a white bitch is not the equivalent of Rory calling Cardi a black.
Malcolm
Right.
Rory Farrell
I don't know where the y' all are getting that from.
Malcolm
Yeah, no, it's Definitely not.
Rory Farrell
But how would y' all feel if Rory said that they would feel upset, as they should.
Malcolm
Yeah, I thought it was classy that she did say. She did apologize. Thought that was classy. But I did want to know if you were still a white, though.
Rory Farrell
No, I was actually, like, hoping, like, during our conversation on Saturday afternoon that, like, at the end she was going to double down. Like, but you still, like, are a white. Damn.
Malcolm
She didn't double down.
Rory Farrell
No.
Malcolm
Damn.
Rory Farrell
But shout out to Cardi. We had a great conversation. Maybe one day we can have her on the show.
Malcolm
Maybe one day. I would love to talk to Cardi. Big Bronx.
Rory Farrell
But that would be. She would come to see Damaris. Like, even though we had a good conversation, I'm well aware that. That my Cardi relationship is. I'm the plus one. Like, that's her homegirl. Yeah. Like, I'm just Damaris's friend.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
I don't even think she said my name.
Damaris
That's why everybody was mad.
Rory Farrell
You Damaris, homie.
Malcolm
Right.
Rory Farrell
I'm like, Cardi, I've been on a podcast with you before in, like, 2015.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
I think. I think Tax and Us was the first time he was ever on a podcast.
Malcolm
Yeah. Shout out to cardiovascular.
Rory Farrell
Yeah. No, it was a great, mature. One of the more mature combos I've had in my podcasting career. Because we've talked about it. Plenty of artists have reached out and, like, had you had awkward moments? Despite that, the energy there was not that it was very much progressive. Like, oh, yeah, saw the wrong clip.
Malcolm
Mm.
Rory Farrell
But on my side, too, I was like, we was talking about your life. Like, you allowed to feel away. And especially my dumb ass white face.
Malcolm
I get it now. Damaris jumped in it.
Rory Farrell
This is the real shit.
Malcolm
This is. Yeah, yeah. This is where we scream, shout out to Cardi. What's Love to Cardi. We love Cardi. Now, here's where Damaris comes in at, and I.
Rory Farrell
And I quote, you've never said that in your life.
Malcolm
And I'm just saying, and I quote, oh, I feel bad because Rory was just joking to segue the topic. He wasn't being negative. Maul deserves this smoke. He was the one arguing with us. Now, what did I say that was negative or could be deemed negative about.
Rory Farrell
Cardi before we get there? Because, of course, we want to give the floor to Damaris to reply with this thought. Oh, I feel bad because Rory was just joking to segue the topic. He wasn't being negative, period. That's all the tweet Needed to be. It could have ended right there.
Malcolm
But we're gonna give the defendant.
Rory Farrell
I just want to show that the second sentence. Yeah, you still get the Cardi B apology. You still get the context.
Malcolm
You still lighten up a great thought.
Rory Farrell
She still protects a friend and a co worker from Bardi Gang. But it seemed a second sentence needed to be said as if the clip was not right below.
Malcolm
Right.
Rory Farrell
The floor is yours, Senator.
Damaris
How is the floor mine?
Malcolm
What? What? Nigga you mean what? How you gonna say Maul deserves this?
Damaris
First of all, I also wanna let it be known that I was not the first person to say that. If you go to the response.
Malcolm
Nah, but you was the one that.
Damaris
Said everybody, every single person responded and said, wait, mall is the one going off. Everybody said that?
Malcolm
How did I. All right, so remind me, because y' all know I sit here and we talk about shit and kick it sometimes.
Damaris
Well, in comparison, you were the one saying Cardi's gonna look stupid when this man basically cheats on her and embarrasses her. This isn't the nigga she should pop out with. Yada yada. That's what you were saying?
Malcolm
That's talking about Cardi.
Damaris
No, it's not about talking, but you and her. You talking about her business when you don't exactly know what you're talking about, which was what she was saying in that paragraph. But to Rory, that's why I'm like, okay, but Rory isn't the one that said that. Maul is the one that did.
Malcolm
Rory said that Cardi needs to take accountability.
Damaris
Yes, but he. But he said, that's a question to Segue. He just said, that's a segue. And then he was like, nothing.
Rory Farrell
Cuz I said she.
Malcolm
But y' all saying I deserve to smoke. Like, I didn't say nothing negative about Cardi. I was just saying, like, yo, you know, Stefon Diggs has a. He has a reputation. He's a. He's a playboy.
Damaris
Okay, but you also said that she's going to look stupid. You listen, even if you truly believe that, you're right. Even if you are right, a person who you're sitting up there talking about their love life, their personal life, which is very personal, they have every right to respond to the way that you frame them looking stupid with dating who they're dating. When you're not in their bedroom, you're not in their phone, you don't know what's going on.
Malcolm
Okay, now let me say this. When you pop out and make the statement, that they did, that they're dating or they're together. Right now I have a podcast. I have a platform. It is directly my job to speak about that.
Damaris
I agree.
Malcolm
You made it a point to step out and make a statement. That was a statement. Going to a Nick playoff game, sitting courtside, two high profile people. That's a statement. We're together. So now I sat and I talked about it. All I was trying to say. Now I'm not saying maybe the words shouldn't have been, cardi's gonna look stupid. I want to say that I love Cardi. I don't want to say she's gonna look stupid, but meaning, like, okay, now if it pops up that Stephon is on a date with somebody else next week or caught creeping out of a hotel, another girl next week, you think people are not gonna flood Cardi's mentions and say, yo, like, ain't this your man? Is this your. The dude you was just dating? Is this.
Damaris
Of course. But I can't be.
Malcolm
That's all I'm speaking.
Damaris
I can't be mad at somebody. It is our job to have certain conversations about certain things, even things that we don't exactly care about. Right. But people have every right to respond. And I try to be more thoughtful.
Malcolm
Oh, yeah, people can respond. Like, it's never personal with me. Y' all know me. I don't know any of these people. Well, some of them I don't know personally. I don't know Cardi personally. I love and support Cardi. Cause she's from my city, she's from my town. So anything that she's doing, I'm supporting. But I don't know anybody personally most of the times when I'm talking about them. So it shouldn't be taken personal. Like, I'm not attacking anybody's personal. You know, things just saying, like, yo, you stepping out with a dude and you making this statement, this big statement, you know, coming off a divorce and this is the first guy that we see you with. You know, it's like, yo, I don't know. You know, homie, you know, Stephan is outside. He. He outside. Stephan Diggs is outside. That's not a secret. Like, he's moving around the city. He's shaking and baking. I don't know if this is the guy that maybe she should be seen with fresh off a divorce. That's all I'm saying. Like, I'm not saying.
Rory Farrell
All we were saying is we think that's the exact guy.
Damaris
Long story short, I ain't apologizing them all, man. You said. What the fuck you said. It's on tape.
Malcolm
Nah, you ratted.
Damaris
Nah, it's on tape.
Malcolm
Nah, you ratted.
Damaris
Boss Fear and loved our favorite rappers.
Malcolm
Nah, Rory got caught.
Damaris
Love the Internet and our favorite rappers.
Malcolm
Rory got caught.
Rory Farrell
It was on cctv, though. We got, like, the footage.
Malcolm
All right, cool. Rory got caught. Damaris told them where I was hiding at.
Damaris
That's fine.
Malcolm
That's ratting. And you right. Ratting is fine. Cause niggas get celebrated for being rats these days. So you absolutely right. Ratting is fine. You get. You snitch now. You get a podcast. You get a deal from all kind of sponsors. You get everything. Now when you snitch, I mean, I don't.
Rory Farrell
It's kind of like. It's like the gun of shit. I feel like what Damaris did. I mean, I understood the rat emoji that you would put up, but, like, she didn't go full like Sammy the bull. 6 9.
Malcolm
Did she drop my name?
Rory Farrell
It was.
Malcolm
Did she drop my name on the stand?
Rory Farrell
It was the gun.
Malcolm
Did she drop my name on the stand?
Rory Farrell
Yeah, she said names, but it was the plea. Like, it wasn't going to be used in the case. They had their evidence. She said it was a gunner situation.
Malcolm
She said, mal deserves this smoke.
Rory Farrell
YSL is a gang. Same thing.
Malcolm
No, it's not.
Rory Farrell
But it didn't affect the case.
Malcolm
She specifically named Mall. She didn't say, rory's not the one that deserves to smoke. Somebody else might deserve this.
Damaris
Oh, nigga, we know who somebody else is.
Malcolm
We know who Maul is, too. And that's exactly what you said. Mall deserves this smoke. That is rat 101. She bit the cheese. She took the cheese. Listen, she got her Pepsi, she got her chips, and she went in that interrogation room and she gave him everything.
Rory Farrell
It was like when 6ix9ine was on the stand. Like, you know, cardi Bs of blood, too. Like, sir, she has nothing to do with this case.
Malcolm
Nothing to do with this. Nothing to do with.
Rory Farrell
No, we don't need to know.
Malcolm
Had nothing to do with what Cardi was talking about?
Rory Farrell
No, he was shoddy in the case. What are you talking about?
Malcolm
He was the main person.
Rory Farrell
She.
Malcolm
She. She pointed out something you said. You said, she needs to take accountability. Cardi and her statement said. Talking about I need to be accountable. She's talking to something you said. Okay, about something Ma said and then. And. And. And. And. Or something you said and she said. I said it. No, I didn't say anything that Cardi felt was disrespectful.
Rory Farrell
Objectively, Maul is actually correct because Cardi did see the wrong clip. Not the one that too cool to blog posted. She saw the one you talking and then it ended with me saying, does Cardi need to take accountability? I don't even think Mall's in that clip period. So I don't even know if Cardi goes. I don't think Cardi goes to look at the other clip until Damaris puts that up because she replied directly to Damaris's tweet. So I don't. Mall may have a case right now in homie court.
Malcolm
That.
Rory Farrell
That may be ratting because it was a nuclear paperwork.
Malcolm
She put my name.
Rory Farrell
My name is my name.
Malcolm
Yeah, Mal deserves this smoke.
Damaris
See, I don't like the selective homie court.
Malcolm
How was the selective?
Damaris
Because I ain't bring you to homie court for shit that you did. I let you rock. I let you get away scot free me.
Malcolm
You what did I do?
Damaris
I ain't bring you to homie court. You came out here and started ratting on yourself and telling and apologizing and putting up statements. I never took you to homie core for what you deserve to go to homie core for what are you.
Malcolm
All right, so take me to homie court now. What are you talking about?
Damaris
No, it's not cool.
Malcolm
No, it ain't cool. No, no, no, no, no. So you can't bring. You can't bring that up? You can't bring that up. You can't bring that up.
Damaris
I already brought up a story.
Malcolm
If you don't bring something up and say I need to be a homie court. Say what? I need to be a homie.
Damaris
Everybody know what you went to, what you should have went to homie court for. But we already had a conversation for.
Malcolm
Laughing about a post.
Damaris
You went and doubled back and laughed again.
Malcolm
All I did was laugh again. I can't laugh. I laughed a laughed and I gotta go to homie court for laughing.
Damaris
No, I didn't bring you to homie court. I let it go.
Malcolm
Why you no. You saying I deserve to be a homie court though, for la charge.
Damaris
No, it was a charge.
Malcolm
We can't laugh.
Damaris
You can laugh about whatever you want.
Malcolm
Okay, so now go outside.
Damaris
For it.
Malcolm
Here's the difference. Here's the difference. Here's the difference. You said I deserve to go to homie core because I laughed, right? All I did was laugh an emoji. You put my name and said he Deserves smoke. Meaning not only did you put my name in the paperwork, but you was like, get this him.
Damaris
That's what that was.
Malcolm
You like, yo, nah, get him. He the one that deserve it.
Damaris
Yeah.
Malcolm
Like, what was that about? Even me laughing and you said, mall deserves to smoke. Is not the even. That's not even at all. There's no. There's no even with that. Sorry.
Damaris
He bought you an actual hammer.
Rory Farrell
I asked Josh for the judge mallet, and he brought me this. Yeah, It's a lot going on right now.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
Okay. I think, Mal, there's a lot of strong points right now, but it did trigger something that has not been settled yet with the fake apologies that happened on this podcast months ago. I think we should finally clear the air, same way I did with Lex ten years later, and have that homie court of what, your LOLs.
Malcolm
Okay, so I can't laugh.
Damaris
You are free to do whatever.
Malcolm
No, no, no.
Rory Farrell
But you feel it's not gonna be a repeat of the other one.
Malcolm
See, see, I can't. Because obviously you felt the way about laughing emojis and cool. You entitled to feel the way about laughing emojis, but we not gonna say this is the same, though. We not gonna say this is the same. Mall deserves this smoke and me just laughing is not the same.
Rory Farrell
Okay?
Malcolm
No way in hell.
Rory Farrell
What do you think the difference is?
Malcolm
A laughing emoji was all I put. I just laughed.
Damaris
No, it ain't even about the original laughing emojis. It's about the fact that you went back and doubled back a week later and laughed again.
Malcolm
No, it was a whole different post.
Damaris
Yeah, I know, but it was a week later. A week after that post was posted.
Malcolm
But it was a funny post.
Damaris
Again, you wasn't still. You wasn't laughing for a week straight.
Malcolm
Yeah, I was laughing. That was funny. That was funny.
Rory Farrell
See?
Malcolm
What? Somebody was just pointing out the hypocrisy, and I just laughed at it.
Damaris
And he knew it wasn't. That's. And that's my thing with Mall. That was my only issue with Ma is Ma knew that it wasn't hypocrisy because Ma was there for the conversation that we had, and he still went back.
Malcolm
It was a funny post. I just laughed.
Damaris
Ma, let's be real. You didn't even laugh at the second one because you hadn't even seen it when we.
Malcolm
I only can laugh at what I see.
Damaris
When we talked about the apology and Peach took it and clipped it up and made it seem like I was arguing, like, almost Like, I was arguing with my boyfriend and Peach made, like, a post for me to post about it. I posted it like, oh, this is what happens when you point a point of view. You already went through his phone, but he lying to you. You laughed at that. And then immediately after you laughed under my page, you went and commented on that.
Malcolm
Commented on what?
Damaris
On your man's post. You commented on my post, on my little meme that. That Peach made me. And then immediately after, you went and commented on Drake's thing.
Malcolm
I'm only commenting on what I see, though. I can't comment on things I don't see. Like, if I'm on my timeline and.
Damaris
I'm saying you thought I was being shady when I posted that. Real. That's why you was being shady. I wasn't being shady.
Malcolm
Get the out of here. Objection. He was being shady.
Damaris
Peach is right here. Peach is right here.
Rory Farrell
Stop leading the witness, Peach.
Damaris
I got an asset out of that apology. Peach created that asset. I didn't create the asset. Peach sent that to me and I said it looked like I'm arguing with my boyfriend. I then posted it and said, this is what happened. Like, he trying to. He trying to explain himself. But you already went through that phone. You're barely.
Malcolm
No, you said something about when you know he lying.
Damaris
That was the. That was underneath. That was the caption underneath. But on the actual post, I literally said, when you arguing with your boyfriend, but you already went through that phone. It had nothing to do with you. I wasn't being funny towards you. But when Peach clipped it up, that was. That was. But it's only your voice. Your face is not in it.
Malcolm
But I'm in it. My. My likeness is in it.
Damaris
You felt away and felt like I was trying to be funny.
Malcolm
My likeness wasn't in this. This here. I had nothing to do with this.
Damaris
Immediately, five minutes after you went and commented on Drake's post to be funny, you were not laughing in the moment you went to be funny.
Malcolm
I was laughing.
Damaris
All I did was admit that you were being funny.
Malcolm
I was laughing. It was funny to me. I laughed. Still, I'm trying to figure out how does laughing and a laughing emoji equate to being the same with loyalty on.
Damaris
The left, ain't no loyalty on the right.
Malcolm
I can't laug laugh. We talking about laughing.
Damaris
Listen, all is fair and love in our favorite rappers.
Malcolm
Nah, man. This is rat. This is rotten. I don't care what. Nobody mall deserves this smoke. That is rat and that is biting the cheese. That is asking for Pepsi and Doritos. That is ratting.
Rory Farrell
She's a civilian.
Damaris
When I said that, I didn't think you was gonna go to jail. You ain't in jail.
Rory Farrell
You. I have not seen any 1090, Jake.
Malcolm
Paper maul deserves this smoke.
Damaris
I had to distract for. I had to get my homeboy free. I'm YSL Woody. I had to get my homeboy.
Malcolm
Oh, my God. She just said she's ysl.
Damaris
I threw the case. I had to get my homeboy free.
Rory Farrell
It means I'm Young Thug.
Malcolm
Yo, what is that? Yo, that is crazy.
Rory Farrell
Thanks.
Malcolm
Yo. That is crazy. I got ratted on, and they tried to tell me I did not get right.
Damaris
I throw the case. I threw the case. Pointed suspicion elsewhere. I knew you weren't gonna get brought up on charges, as you have it. So I did what I had to do for the podcast. And we might actually.
Malcolm
I was never in it.
Damaris
We might actually get a party interview.
Malcolm
Rory's needs to shut his white ass off. She didn't say anything about Maul. Maul's name is in no way in Cardi's paperwork at all. Only time Maul's name is mentioned in any paperwork is when Damaris submits her statement and says, and we're. Maul deserves this.
Rory Farrell
All free.
Damaris
And we're getting the first Cardi B interview when she.
Malcolm
I don't know if I'm free. I gotta go to the Bronx tonight. Them brims might catch me outside, like, in the night. Like, I don't know if I'm free. Why she keeps saying I'm free? I gotta go to Fordham tonight. Like, I might not be free.
Rory Farrell
Listen, man, Ace had to set up Rico. It was for the. It was for the betterment of the rat cast.
Malcolm
I'm out of here, dog. I'm out of here. Everybody cool with biting the cheese up here, man?
Damaris
Act like we ain't got another job.
Malcolm
N. Man. Man, that. Man, y' all tripping, man.
Rory Farrell
So you don't see any equivalent in those two things?
Malcolm
Me laughing emoji? No, no.
Rory Farrell
Is that dry snitching?
Malcolm
Look, the same thing she did after mentioning my name. See that? That's the same thing I put over Shorty's post when she posted her about Damaris. Those same. That same emoji.
Rory Farrell
But you knew. See, you could have taken the Damaris route with that girl because you guys are all ovo. That's team. She's team Cardi. So Cardi listened to her and realized she was wrong. You could have Talked to your sis. I don't know her name. What's her name? We don't need to get. All right, talk to your sis in the OVO group chat and be like, hey, you have this wrong. Damaris was taken out of context here. Like, you could have taken this route and been like, hey, he didn't want to do that. Hey, your smoke. Why would he do that? Your smoke is for DJ Head. It's not for Damaris.
Malcolm
Regardless if she was right or wrong, I just laughed at just the whole. The clip. I was just laughing at it. I didn't feel like she disrespected Damaris in that.
Rory Farrell
Oh, I don't even, like, remember.
Malcolm
Yeah, no, she didn't.
Rory Farrell
I'm just stirring up for the fun.
Malcolm
She was just trying to point out hypocrisy, but she didn't. She didn't call. Now, she would have been on there trying to kick the man like this whack, bitch. She didn't do none of that. She didn't curse. She didn't call Damaris on her name.
Damaris
I think I was told that I only come out here and say. I say whatever y' all tell me for a check. Whatever y' all tell me to say, I say for a check. That's what I was told.
Malcolm
Did she say that in that clip?
Damaris
Not in that one. In another one.
Malcolm
Oh, I see. I don't. I'm talking about that clip.
Damaris
No, she went out for days and days and days.
Malcolm
Oh, I don't see most of that shit. I don't even see that one that I laughed at.
Damaris
But that's why you should stand with your peoples, because you don't even really be knowing what's going on.
Malcolm
The clip I keep going back to. I laughed at that clip. Whatever my emojis on, I'm laughing at that. That's it. My name is in paperwork right there. Mal deserves this smoke. How is that the same? I count.
Rory Farrell
The government should have redacted your name. I'm sorry.
Malcolm
I asked for the defendant to be thrown in the darkest cel.
Rory Farrell
And no, she has immunity. She snitched. She's with us.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Damaris
You talking about good luck?
Rory Farrell
What. What would your witness protection name be? I don't know.
Damaris
Something like Ashley or Brenda. Oh, Victoria.
Rory Farrell
Oh, it's funny. She brought up Ashley because that's why she should be in Homie Corp. We'll save that for Patreon.
Damaris
Nah. Talk about it.
Malcolm
Get your off.
Rory Farrell
Yeah. You think. You think that you defending me here? That you got free range to do Whatever. No.
Malcolm
Yeah. Take the gavel. Take the gavel.
Damaris
Damn. Whole cast mad at me.
Malcolm
Yo, this the rat cast. We'll be back. We go pay some bills, get a word from my sponsors. We'll talk to y' all in a second. The rat cast is crazy. Jesus Christ.
Rory Farrell
All right, well, to make sure this is real, I will reach out to Whack 110 90. Jake. They'll get the full, proper research of Damaris to make sure.
Malcolm
We just saw the paperwork we got.
Rory Farrell
We have to triple check, man.
Malcolm
Nah. No, we don't. That's the problem. Y' all like to triple check people. I know Photoshop. That's a certain. That's a. That's a. What they call it with the blue check on Twitter.
Rory Farrell
Verified.
Malcolm
That's a verified account. Verified. Rat. Look at that. That's not verified.
Damaris
Listen, how's this. Okay, you know what?
Rory Farrell
All right.
Damaris
As a woman, I'll take accountability. I could have handled that differently.
Malcolm
That's all Rory was trying to tell Cardi. Look how we get.
Rory Farrell
I said that. See, now you get me in trouble with Cardi again. I didn't tell her how to handle anything.
Damaris
It's really him. He really. It's really him. He really. The problem where the.
Malcolm
I've been telling y' all, I think Cardi needs to be held, man.
Rory Farrell
Check his chest. Wearing some.
Malcolm
He got wild.
Rory Farrell
Check his sneakers.
Malcolm
Ain't that what you just said? Cardi needs to be held. Take accountability.
Rory Farrell
No. I asked Damaris, does Cardi need accountability? And she said, do you think that. And I said, no.
Malcolm
Oh, you say she don't need accountability?
Rory Farrell
No.
Malcolm
Okay. You do anything wrong? Well, what did you say?
Damaris
Damaris, As I. I apologize. I mean mine, though. I'm not just saying it. I mean my apology. I apologize. I did not have to throw you to the wolves. I just thought that that was a tactic to get, you know, my boy free. But I could have handled that better. I could have left your name out of the paperwork. So I apologize. Sincerely. That's how an apology is handled.
Malcolm
The first time the Knicks go to the playoffs in 26 years, and the woman just took accountability for the first time.
Rory Farrell
No. What's the. All right. May 19, 2025, 3:36pm Cardi B. Apologized to me, and Damaris apologized to you. Two women. Back to bed. Wow. I'm a little, like, misty in my eyes right now.
Malcolm
Cardi for president now.
Rory Farrell
Do you have anything to say?
Malcolm
Yeah, that's all I wanted from the first.
Rory Farrell
Hey, Damaris, maybe I could have Just laughed by myself in the living room and not posted it to co sign the war that was going on between you and that person to add fuel to the fire.
Malcolm
Hey, Damaris, maybe I shouldn't have laughed out loud. I should have laughed in the living room and not added fuel to the fire again.
Damaris
We'll try it again. When you mean it, we'll try it again.
Rory Farrell
Six months.
Malcolm
I do six months time, man.
Damaris
We'll try it again. Six months from now.
Malcolm
Y' all don't take my apology.
Rory Farrell
Baby steps. Baby steps.
Malcolm
Y' all don't take my apology seriously. On here, man. On the rat cast, man, this is crazy, man.
Damaris
Actually, hold on. Can somebody hear me to gavel? Actually, I. I'll come get it or.
Malcolm
Bring it to get off. Yeah, I got.
Damaris
Actually got somebody else to bring the homie core. In fact, since we're hashing out things on this hash brown.
Malcolm
God damn it, I love me a hash brown.
Rory Farrell
And while she gets that together, in the meantime, if somebody snitches and no one goes to jail.
Malcolm
Nah, nah, we not see, because nobody attacked you. The rats always try to find a loophole.
Rory Farrell
Because yeah, she did, but they didn't attack you. Like you didn't get the sentence for her rattin. This was the first time in Stan culture that I even saw this, which takes a special type of complexion. Even after Cardi apologized, the comments under. From her own stands that listened to every last word she said for the first time said, nah, it's still. Fuck that white bitch.
Damaris
Yeah, they said, nah, fuck him. Don't apologize.
Rory Farrell
They didn't even listen to their leader.
Malcolm
Yeah, nah, fuck that.
Rory Farrell
They read and saw the clip of Molly's like, nah, more cool. Fuck that white bitch.
Malcolm
The white bitch reparations. Rory.
Rory Farrell
Yeah, listen, I agree.
Damaris
Damaris now in session. The people versus Rory Farrow.
Rory Farrell
Yes.
Malcolm
Get his white ass. Damaris, please.
Damaris
Because the only reason why I had to sit and endure Mall's fake ass apology is because you went and had a conversation with him. That I was upset.
Malcolm
Well, he's supposed to.
Rory Farrell
So.
Damaris
No, no, no, no, no, no. But this is. This is the. Let's listen to this. I have been dealing with people calling me all types of sensitive asses because Rory went and stuck up for me because that's how he felt. He felt I should be stuck up for. I didn't go to Rory and crying and screaming and all. Rory came to me and he felt that I should be stuck up for. So I'm over here getting an apology like I was crying. Cause I. Cause I need an apology. When I said I'm not getting no apology from Maul. Cause Mal ain' But what it made it seem like to me, I mean, to everybody else and to the public, is that I was crying for an apology from all.
Rory Farrell
So I'm on trial for the court of public opinion.
Malcolm
Yes. Yeah.
Rory Farrell
I ain't got shit to do with that.
Damaris
Because during that apology, you should have said Damaris wasn't crying for an apology. I feel like you owe the Maris an apology. Motherfucker's over here. Like, Damaris is really mad at Maul about.
Rory Farrell
I didn't think I needed to say on the mic that Maris was not crying for an apology. Because you weren't. So I didn't think that needed to even be said.
Damaris
That was that this is what the court of public opinion.
Rory Farrell
I'm not that. So, Raven. I didn't envision what the comments were going to be the next day. I thought there was some internal tension, and I wanted everyone to peace up. I feel like the air is already clear. That's all it was. I didn't predict what the comments would be, that Damaris came crying for an apology because that wasn't the case. Sometimes I, like, deal too much in truth and don't realize what the Internet's going to view it as.
Damaris
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
I'm like, well, this is what happens. So that's how the world's gonna see it.
Malcolm
And it's like, no, it never happens that way. Never happens that way.
Damaris
And actually, Peach, homie Josh, well, he.
Rory Farrell
I mean, it's really Peach.
Damaris
No, no, no, no, no, no. Because when I sat here and was sitting through that apology, nobody sat there and said, ma, you was wrong. Everybody was quiet. Oh, Josh standing up. Josh said he said something.
Rory Farrell
And I mentioned, see, don't even put. Put him on, homie. Court. Cause I did tell you that Josh was in your corner. I said that.
Malcolm
Y' all realize that all I did was laugh? Like, laugh.
Rory Farrell
That's all I practiced.
Malcolm
I didn't say nothing. I didn't say, get her. I didn't say kill her. I didn't say any of these things. I just laughed.
Rory Farrell
So you don't mean the apology?
Malcolm
I told the marriage that. I told the marriage that if she felt the way about that, I apologize for that because that wasn't my attention. I wasn't trying to make the marriage feel away. But I also. The girl wasn't, like, crazy disrespectful towards Damaris.
Damaris
She was also just wrong.
Malcolm
Even if she. But I Just laughed or whether she's right or wrong. I just laughed. That's all I did.
Damaris
But that's. But where's the joke?
Malcolm
The joke was just in her cutting the video up. Like, literally, you in the middle of your video. And she'd be like, nah, hold up. Go over there with wap, wap, wap. It was just funny. I just laughed at that. Now, if she would have been on there coming at you, like, disrespecting you. And I laughed then. I can understand you feeling because now that somebody just straight up disrespecting you. But she just spliced the video that you posted and then took it back to some things you said months ago and then tried to just point out hypocrisy. I just thought it was funny that she did that. Now, again, if she would have been on there kicking your back in on a personal level. And I laughed then. 100% you. Yo, Maul, that's fucked up. But if I'm just laughing at somebody comparing what you. What you're doing today versus what you said a year ago, I'm just laughing at it. Like, that wasn't. I didn't see the big crime in that. So I did out. And I wasn't.
Damaris
The second one. The second one you went and laughed at, which was also a clip taken out of context because I was the first person on this episode, on this podcast to say that I liked sexy songs for you. I said that. They just clipped that out of the clip. You went and laughed at that, too. That wasn't even funny.
Malcolm
Damaris, you spent a year and a half laughing at any video calling me Dick Rider. This. That third dot, bop the dot. What I sat here and did, I would never. I took it all.
Damaris
I would never.
Malcolm
I accepted it all from the mountaintops.
Damaris
Of victory, like I said.
Rory Farrell
Is that a fact? Because I didn't see that.
Malcolm
No.
Rory Farrell
I never saw Daenerys laughing at anyone calling you a Dick Rider.
Damaris
Damaris.
Malcolm
Can't wait to laugh. Everybody was laughing at that. I didn't give a.
Rory Farrell
It's not like in here if we laugh with each other.
Damaris
With each other is complete. I would never laugh.
Malcolm
Laugh at you on the episode you laughed.
Damaris
I would never laugh at you on the Internet for.
Malcolm
On the episode. On the episode we laugh at each other.
Rory Farrell
What she's trying to say. If there was a post that. Yo, Mall, whatever.
Damaris
Like the miss was turning you into sexy red. I wasn't sitting up there. They was superimposing your head on sexy Red, bro. I wasn't sitting up there commenting underneath that, giggling and laughing and like that. I would never do anything like that because I'm never going to give somebody ammunition to be like, yo, even. Even as co host.
Malcolm
But that's my point. But that's my point. That would be them trying to disrespect me. Shorty wasn't trying to disrespect you, okay? In her post, she didn't say anything disrespectful at all. She didn't call you out your name.
Damaris
And you don't think that the biggest rapper in the world reposting that is grounds for that, especially back to back. You don't think that at all. You don't think that.
Rory Farrell
Which. Which greenlit a bunch of people to say extremely sexy.
Damaris
To this day, anytime I upload anything, I am harassed by Drake fans. Do I care? But you know that that opens up the floodgates for a whole bunch of things. There are also a whole bunch of people, my colleagues in this business, underneath your post, like, oh, damn. Even her boss laughing at her.
Malcolm
I'm laughing at the post. I wasn't laughing at you, Ma.
Damaris
Your intention is not always the point.
Malcolm
Yeah, but I need you.
Damaris
But that's my.
Malcolm
But that's. That's what I'm trying to tell you, though. That's what I'm trying to tell you. If I laugh at something, I'm just laughing. Now what you think I'm laughing at? Let's talk about that. I was just laughing at her, trying to point out a hypocrisy and taking something you just did and posting on TikTok versus something said on the show almost a year ago. I was just laughing at that. I wasn't laughing at her trying to make you look stupid or if she called you out your name like, no, that would be something. That's like, damn, that's fucked up. But she didn't disrespect you.
Damaris
But you didn't laugh under her post. You laughed under Sensitive Sally. No, you laugh under Sensitive Sally's repost. And you know that he was not reposting. You knew why he.
Malcolm
No, that was on the. That I laughed on the. What was that? The plot twist page.
Damaris
We know who plot twist is. We all know who plot twist is.
Malcolm
I don't know. It is what it is, but that's why. That's where I saw it at.
Damaris
See, this is why I can't have fake court.
Rory Farrell
What you mean? Let's do real court.
Malcolm
I'm telling you where I saw the Post at. I saw the post. I laughed at it. I'm not paying attention to. I don't want to.
Damaris
I don't want to draw this out. This was. This was Rory's homie Court.
Malcolm
But somehow I'm on the stand.
Damaris
Well, you got up there. You got on there and started.
Malcolm
Cause I got ratted on. My name is in paperwork. I was home chilling, and I see mall deserves smoke. I'm like, whoa, I didn't even tweet nothing all weekend.
Rory Farrell
Should have went to Bali.
Malcolm
Yeah, like Jesus Louise.
Rory Farrell
Well, court.
Damaris
Court is adjourned.
Malcolm
No, it's not. Get his ass some more.
Damaris
Court is adjourned. Nah, because. Because he's proven his loyalty. Word up. He's proven his loyalty. That's why I got him out.
Malcolm
I have. I haven't proven my loyalty.
Damaris
That's why I went and got him.
Malcolm
Hold on. I haven't proven my loyalty.
Damaris
Listen, Double listening. Double back on a laugh. Shit must have been really, really funny.
Malcolm
It was funny.
Rory Farrell
It must really funny.
Malcolm
Really should be funny sometimes.
Damaris
All right, so you know what was funny? Them barbs on your ass. I mean, them Cardi gang on your ass. That. That's what's funny. I laugh.
Malcolm
Cardig was on my ass.
Damaris
I laughed. That's why I was laughing. Emojis. That's what the fans was on your ass. I laughed.
Malcolm
When.
Damaris
Now we laughing.
Malcolm
Cardi Gang is on my ass right now.
Damaris
Bar Gang.
Rory Farrell
Yeah.
Damaris
For what you were saying? Hell yeah.
Malcolm
Oh, I didn't see none of it.
Rory Farrell
I don't know about Jacky. Request dms. I'm sure they're threatening to kill you.
Malcolm
Smoke. I love cardi, man. Big Bronx. I always support to. I don't want no smoke.
Damaris
Well, now that we've saw, somebody from.
Rory Farrell
Bar Gang hit my request DM and said they was going to kill Amara. And I replied, oh, you must be a fan, cuz you know her name. I appreciate the support.
Damaris
That's crazy.
Rory Farrell
Keep listening every week.
Malcolm
Idiot.
Damaris
Yeah, you stupid.
Malcolm
Yeah. No warrior now.
Rory Farrell
Hey.
Malcolm
So we all make mistakes, but owning up is the right thing to do. You know Degree Cool Rush deodorant. Well, last year they changed the formula and it did not go well with their fans. Degree's whole thing is it turns up the sweat and odor protection when you turn up the effort. And good thing it does, because Cool Rush fans really turned up the effort to bring back the original Formula. One guy even started an online petition. And degree Listen, they admitted they effed up and are bringing the original cool Rudd ascent back. And it's exactly how you remember it. Cool, crisp and fresh. It's back in Walmart, Target and other stores now for under $4. There's a reason why it's been the number one men's antiperspirant for the last decade. It's the same reason why people were not happy when it changed. So if you never tried it, it might be a good time to see what the fuss is about. Head to your local Walmart or Target to try the OG degree. Cool rush for yourself.

Malcolm
Yeah, it's just. It's a lot, but at least the.
Rory Farrell
Universe can balance itself out. But, yeah, I mean, that's just how. How the world works and how the universe works. Yin and yang. Joey Badass cleaned up the entire world, so the universe had to come back to us and humble us and balance everything out. That's cool.
Malcolm
I was chilling. What was that? Tuesday. And Josh text me. Hey, whenever Josh text me.
Rory Farrell
That was the tone of.
Malcolm
Yeah, whenever Josh, he said, hey, are you jumping on the Twitter Spaces tonight? And I had forgot that we had talked about doing the Twitter Spaces, just kind of talking about the whole Joey, Joey Halliburton, Joey Badass diss between Haliburton. I mean, it's just. He's kicking everybody's ass. But we had a Twitter Spaces out to everybody that joined the spaces and spoke. Shout out to Mickey Fax. Lloyd Banks was in the spaces. Reason, shout out to Gina Views. Who else am I missing? It was other people because I got there kind of late. I got there like, 45 minutes after y' all started.
Rory Farrell
Yeah, I think you named. I mean, there was a bunch of people in there. It was. It was a great time.
Damaris
Over 12,000 people joined. So thank you to everybody. Joined.
Rory Farrell
Yeah, for sure. And again, apologies for my outburst. I'm. I'm resetting. I'm good now. All right. Twitter Spaces was amazing. I had a great time. It's always fun to talk about shit in. In real time with all, like, listeners and fans and everything. Like, it's fun on the podcast, but in real time, talking to the timeline, I find it extremely great to just talk with them. And we jumped the West Coast. We jumped Reason, and I felt like it was karma. West coast tried to jump Joey Badass. So Reason had to get jumped in Twitter Spaces. Then he tried to run and get Gina, but Gina's service didn't work. So Reason was sitting there getting his ass whooped, screaming for G and she's just. She has one bar.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
He can't even find the WI fi.
Damaris
He kept saying, like, put Gina on stage, Yo. Now she up there. She ain't talking. That ain't on me.
Rory Farrell
All right, let's. All right, we can tie this in with some of the recap. Reason was trying to suggest that everyone won in this and even Gina, who is very direct in how she feels, especially after the victory lap that the west coast had. And there is no middle ground. Gray area. It's either somebody won or lost. Said the fans won. The west coast look way different than it did in 2024. Now there's a gray area for everything. Now the fans won.
Damaris
I agree with them, though, but.
Malcolm
No, you don't.
Damaris
But I know I agreed on the spaces. I agree. When Gina was saying that Rayvon does not walk away with the L on this. He walks away with a W. I agree with them when they said that.
Malcolm
He walks away with a W because he's getting interviews.
Damaris
No, it's not. He lost the battle, and that's what we were trying to get across to you.
Malcolm
When did he win?
Damaris
He lost a battle. He won a whole bunch of publicity and attention that he didn't have before.
Malcolm
Going with that clout chasing.
Damaris
When you're a. But you bring up all the time that when you're a rapper, you need that, like, for your career. More people are now listening to Rayvon, which is well deserved because he is very talented. More people are now listening to him than ever before.
Malcolm
Yeah, but don't mention that in a battle. We know you're right and Gina is right in saying that. But don't mention that in a battle.
Rory Farrell
Battle.
Malcolm
Don't tell me that he's getting interviews and his streams is going up. And I. Don't tell me that during the battle. We know that. We know that's gonna happen.
Damaris
It wasn't during the battle. The battle was over. He lost. That's the general.
Malcolm
Yeah. But as a result. As a result of the battle, he's getting interviews, his streams are going up, and I'm cool. Great. I'm not, you know, I don't. Regardless of what Rayvon thinks about me, like, I'm not mad at his. Like, I want to see him be successful. He's another black.
Rory Farrell
Doesn't affect your life.
Malcolm
Yeah. At all. Either way, he's another black dude. Like, I support that.
Damaris
Sorry. He's another black dude.
Malcolm
As funny as. Yeah, like, I got. I support my black. I support my black people. Like, I support him. I don't I may not like him, but I support him. Right.
Rory Farrell
Okay. I don't think you dislike him. I don't think you have any feelings.
Malcolm
Yeah, I don't have any feelings about Rayvon. I could care less. But what I'm saying is. Don't tell me during a battle or after battle. It's okay, it's okay. That's just.
Damaris
Today is just not his day.
Malcolm
That's just. See, don't let it. Don't let it take you there. Don't let it take you to that space.
Rory Farrell
I always felt that Reggie's sister was way than he was. I just want to put that out there.
Malcolm
I know the greatest Miller of all time. But yes, Rayvon stream numbers go up, things like that. We know that. But to mention that during a battle, when we're. And when we're talking about Joey Badass winning and defeating everybody that stood in front of him or threw shots at him, it's like, come. Don't do that right here. Don't tell me what the numbers are. Don't tell me what the streams are right now. Don't. I don't care about that. That. I'm talking about the records and the bars that were put forth in a battle. That's all I'm talking about. Don't tell me that. Y n. But, you know, he getting three interviews tomorrow and he going in the street. I don't.
Damaris
But they also said that it's closer than the New Yorkers are making it. No, it's like he didn't get his ass.
Malcolm
It's worse. It's worser. It's worse than the LA LA aliens are making it appear to be.
Rory Farrell
And that's where I know, like, like I'm so sick of people saying New York bias, because that is not the case here. The west coast bias was showing so much because we respected Rayon.
Damaris
A little crazy. Yeah.
Rory Farrell
First. First diss. I thought it was great. I thought it was really close. After Joey did the finals, I still felt like Joey edged him out in that first round. But then when you get to the town, my town, and then the follow up is the Golden Eye record and the west coast is trying to tell me it's still close.
Damaris
The west coast was saying the Golden Eye record was like. They were like, oh, yo, that's the one. I'm like, like it's saying, no, it's.
Rory Farrell
Not saying he's gay in 20 different ways. Over a bad flip of the back down beat is not close in the battle. It's just not. After Joey and loaded Lux. Clean everybody up.
Malcolm
Yeah. No, it's. It's not close.
Rory Farrell
Even Daylight's AO that came out after, which was way better than his first one, probably my favorite one that that light put out. It may be in the top three of this battle. Still didn't hit. It was over after My Town came out. I don't care what you put out after. Put out a whole mixtape. It's done.
Malcolm
Listen. It's over. I don't care to hear any more records about this or coming out of this. It's just one of those things that was a moment. It was cool. All of the rappers, all of the MCs put their best work forward. Let the people decide. It's decided. It's not closed. Joey cleaned everybody up. Everybody go back to their respective corners. Work on your music. Put out your music. Do whatever it is you was doing before. But I don't wanna talk about this battle no more. It's not even a battle.
Rory Farrell
I like to. I. I did kind of sigh when I saw that Daylight put out another record either this morning or last night. The end credits joint. But I actually thought it was a cool way to end the entire battle. He just recapped everything that happened. Like I thought that was cool to really end everything because even I was starting to get drained as somebody that was trying to instigate every rapper to get in to this battle. I started to get exhausted. I was like, all right, man. I can't. I can't listen to another one. This is. This has gone way too far. And even to.
Malcolm
To.
Rory Farrell
I'm happy that Rayvon definitely stopped and I saw that he posted like a live performance. I'm with Gina in Reason on. Okay. It's kind of a win for him for the eyes. But if he doesn't do anything with the eyes because I feel like attention these days is cheap. They just move on to the next thing. So, yeah, he could have 500,000 impressions, but they're just going to move on to the next thing. He doesn't capitalize. So I can't say. I can say for sure. Rayvon lost this battle. But on the other side, I can't say it was a win for him. Him. Unless he capitalizes off the eyes that are on him.
Malcolm
Because it's not a win for him even if you do that. He lost the battle, period. That's it.
Rory Farrell
But we're talking about the separate who takes away from. But he has to capitalize. All those eyes that were looking at him now need to continue with or at least, you know, a percentage of them need to move on with Rayvon, with his career, and keep following him. Then I'll be like, all right, cool. That was a way to get more fans and more attention on you. But if you just do a battle and then everyone moves on to the next thing. You took two Ls, in my opinion, you didn't even use the marketing that was set up for you by Top. If you don't capitalize off that, that's two L's to me. Yeah, I hope that doesn't happen, because like Demer said, I think he's talented and deserves eyes on him. I hope he uses it to, you know, better his career, because he's a good rapper. But if he doesn't, that's two Ls.
Malcolm
Yeah, but just stop saying it's a W for him. If he puts. If he capitalizes, it's not. Yeah, you always capitalize as an artist. Put out good music, capitalize off the moment, capitalize off the opportunity to release music. Music. But the battle is the battle. All of y' all lost. Joey cleaned everybody up. I hope everybody comes out of this and does everything that they want to do in music. I hope everybody's successful. But I ain't gonna be like, yo, Nah. But he ain't. He ain't really lose the battle. Cause, you know, he. He put out a classic joint after the. Nah, he lost. He lost.
Rory Farrell
Which is fine.
Malcolm
Yeah, no, it's. Of course it's fine. You win or you lose. They lost.
Rory Farrell
Cause even if, like Damaris, back to your point that you were saying to Mal of, all right, if his streams go up, more attention goes up then. And that's a win. That's kind of like saying, okay, Drake didn't lose because he was still the most streamed artist at the end of the year. It's like, nah, he still took an L. By the court of public opinion, I was.
Malcolm
I didn't want to bring that up, but I was looking at you, waiting for you to be like, but you. You being by the court of public.
Rory Farrell
Opinion, Drake took an L. But at the end of the year, he was the highest streamed artist of the year. And no one went, oh, never mind. Drake didn't take enough. But that's so.
Damaris
That's completely different because that's completely, completely different. Because Drake had. And we said this before the battle, Drake had nowhere to go but down. There was nothing he could have gained from this battle other than when we mentioned during the DJ Head interview, the. He could completely Kill that boogeyman. Like, I'm the real boogeyman. That was the only thing that he had to gain from this to gather.
Rory Farrell
If he beat Kendrick, I had said he, he, he would be in the absolute conversation of one of the greatest.
Damaris
Rappers of all time.
Rory Farrell
Like, if he cleans. If he cleaned up, like, yeah, that would have been like, yeah.
Damaris
But that was the only accolade already here.
Rory Farrell
But now he's got.
Damaris
That was the only accolade he had to gain. Right. Which is a big accolade. But he's already at the top with Rayon. Rayvon had nowhere to go but up. So that's why I think that that's streaming numbers.
Rory Farrell
You can't say someone didn't take a L just because they got more streaming.
Damaris
But nobody said that he didn't take a L. Hell, okay, nobody. Yeah, nobody.
Rory Farrell
Well, I mean, literally the entire west coast thinks that shit was better than Ether and Takeover.
Malcolm
He's stupid.
Damaris
Yep.
Rory Farrell
Yo, I, I, I can really appreciate, as New York crab in the barrel, like, we don't stick together. I do admire how much the west coast will defend blindly knowing they sound insane and still be like, nah, Ray cleaned everybody up.
Damaris
So what?
Rory Farrell
I, I can appreciate that type of support.
Damaris
I don't think that it's blindly. I do think that we have different opinions on what music sounds better because we do have different sounds. So I do think that they truly believe that it was closer than it was because they might value Ray's swag more than they value Joey Badass.
Rory Farrell
What was the name of the Daylight record that he had the chopped cheese as the artwork that Daylight even took off his own YouTube page. I want to lend some west coast ears so they can tell me if that sounds good. I'm cool with having different ears if that. If that sounds good to y' all.
Damaris
Listen.
Malcolm
N. That wasn't.
Damaris
I didn't even really see them standing up for Daylight. I saw them really standing up for Ray.
Rory Farrell
Well, that's. And, and that's actually what I want to talk about. I'm glad you brought that up. The only person I felt actually had something to lose in this battle for real, was Daylight. Cuz us even came in here, we were shaking for Joey, cuz he has rightfully so. He's proven the status of being an alien. He's one of those. We look. We revered Daylight's penalty probably more than most rappers, period.
Malcolm
Well, because he's a battle rapper and.
Rory Farrell
The expectations were so high for him. How he delivered was so underwhelming. I Felt like that was kind of the only real L that somebody could have taken in this. Because like the mayor said, the only place you can go is up. Joey's still gonna be. Joey's still gonna act no matter what. Daylight's brand, I think, was the only one that was kind of like, damn, that was underwhelming. We had no expectations for Ray.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
Even with Joey Badass. We, like, we know Joey could rap. He's great mc, but we. He's not super battle tested. We didn't even have the highest, highest expectations for. For Joey Daylight, though. Yeah, he's the only one, I think really took like a brand loss. Like, damn. I'm never gonna forget this part about Daylight. But I only had nothing but amazing things with Daylight. And, like, everyone should be terrified of Daylight. When Daylight shows up, everyone should leave the park. He's that good of a rapper. Now. I still think that about Daylight, but this was like.
Malcolm
I think what we learned in it is you can be a battle rapper, but when it comes time to battle rap on records with music, you know, having flows and things like that, it's a different ball game. I think that Daylight is just the cerebral thing works on a battle rap stage. Cause you get to kind of be performative and you get the, you know, the theatrics of battle rap. So that whole cerebral angle is. It lands better on stage. The cerebral, you know, I am a God. All of that on wax in a battle is not, I think, battle rap, you have to be a little more cool. I think you have to be a little cooler in battle rap. I think you have to be a little more charismatic. I think you gotta be a little more witty.
Rory Farrell
You can still be putting on a performance for real. It's a performance.
Malcolm
But you can't be like, Daylight's thing is too. You know, it's too much of his own world that he creates in his music. And on wax, it doesn't land the same as on stage. I can kind of perform and create this whole thing where you kind of. I'm bringing you into my world, you know, with the music and on a diss record, it's just. It doesn't land the same. And that was the disappointing part for me. Listening to Light, I was like, it's not landing the same. If I take the music away and put Light on stage with Joey Badass and let Light perform this, then it might look a little. And look and feel a little differently. But on just listening to the music, it didn't land. Again, his battle Rap career, I think, takes a hit now because all the battle rappers have incredible ammunition now to kind of like go at Light if they battle. Now. I still think Light is a dangerous opponent for anybody, of course, because he's obviously talented. But I do think that coming out of this moment now, other battle rappers have ammunition, which is why it was so clever for Joey Badass to put Lux on the record.
Rory Farrell
Yeah.
Malcolm
To kind of like, you know, allude to that.
Rory Farrell
Like, Lux floated on that shit, you understand?
Malcolm
Like Lux can on music. But you see, because Lux is a little more charismatic. He's a little cool in the things that he's saying and how he frames his bars and things like that. It's not as Lux can get into that cerebral zone too, but I think he knows how to turn it off a little bit when it's like on in the music.
Rory Farrell
I mean, Lux even knows how to dumb it down at the right times because we know Lux can leave Earth the way Daylight. They're actually very similar in that way of leaving Earth. But Lux some is. I mean, his most famous round ever was Dumbed Down. He repeated that. He made a hook at it. She repeated the same thing 15 times. And that's one of his best shits ever, because he knows when to dumb it down. And we were talking on Twitter, spaces. The hip hop purists are gonna just have to have to face the reality that in the history of battling the simple wins. Yeah, it's not who's the best rapper. You have to simp. The most famous battle lines that we all go back to are very, very simple. Even from the most lyrical rappers like Beans and Kiss, dumb down their own. And that's one of my favorite battles ever. Even Hoven Nas, they were. They weren't going lyrical miracle. 10,000 different metaphors. And we were like, oh, he's the winner. Because he had more metaphors here. Now you got to dumb that down. What's going to hit, what's going to land, what punch is going to matter?
Malcolm
I mean, I think that's your girl.
Rory Farrell
Is that your toy? Your girl's toy? Like, that was a finisher. And then Meat got came back and barred it the fuck up. And it was like, nah, I'm cool.
Malcolm
I think that was nothing that like.
Rory Farrell
That we can repeat.
Malcolm
I think a lot of that relates to the Drake Kendrick thing. I think not like us is a dumb down. Just this record, like, it's nothing to think about. You get it as soon as you hear it. It's a hook. Look, it's you know, I mean like so I think.
Rory Farrell
But so the bridge is over.
Malcolm
Right? Right.
Rory Farrell
Is that KRS's most lyrical performance?
Malcolm
No.
Rory Farrell
Purposely.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
He made a fucking hit and that was the bar. The bridge is over. Sorry. Queensbridge.
Malcolm
Right.
Rory Farrell
Fucking buried a whole borough for 10 years because he just said the bridge is over. That's where I think because you know, I'm the on the side of the nerds. But I don't want to go through every single daylight metaphor when I can just listen to my town and clearly see who's winning right now. Right? Beats do matter.
Malcolm
Yeah. Music, like music matters in the battle.
Rory Farrell
Like what are we talking about? Cuz someone even said that on Spaces. She was of course from the west coast, was bringing up daylight bars and like oh, Joey just picked a better beat. Okay. Why is that not a stat?
Malcolm
Right?
Rory Farrell
It's a music battle. Like music's now not important.
Malcolm
Yeah, they're musicians. New warrior now. So we all made mistakes, right? But owning up to them, it's the right thing to do do. But we all know Degree Cool Rush deodorant well last year they changed the formula and it did not go over well with the fans, the grease, whole thing. It turns up sweat and other protection when you turn up the effort. And good thing it does because Cool Rush fans really turned up the effort to bring back the OG formula. One guy even started online petition and degree listen, they admitted they effed up and are bringing back that OG Cool Rush sent back and it's exactly how you remember it.
Rory Farrell
Cool, crisp and fresh.
Malcolm
It's back at Walmart, Target and other stores for under $4. There's a reason why it's been the.
Rory Farrell

Malcolm
It's the same reason why people are not happy when the recipe was changed. So listen, if you've never tried, it might be a good time to try. See what the fuss is about. Malcolm
Do we have voicemails? You've got mail.
Damaris
I have a question and a quick story about a man, but he's based in New York, so I'm not giving a ton of context here.
Rory Farrell
I apologize.
Damaris
So you guys have been around men.
Rory Farrell
With different degrees of access.
Damaris
My theory, and I could be wrong. I'm asking, is that if a man when he was younger was in a position to exchange his money for women's convenience and time. No, they were just there. The money was there. I get it.
Rory Farrell
Whatever.
Damaris
Do you think that man would be very good at dealing with a quote unquote normal girl as I've been described? I'm cool with that in the future. Or would it just be too hard.
Rory Farrell
Once you've had that convenience?
Damaris
And for the funny part, I was out last night with this individual. He's telling me he does all this reading now. It's really important to him.
Rory Farrell
Time away from the phone.
Damaris
I'm like, oh cool, what are you reading?
Rory Farrell
The man says, mein Kampf.
Damaris
I said, oh my God, I heard you wrong. I thought you said that Hitler book. He said, no, yeah, that one. Like, it's really interesting to see where people started out. And I'm not Offended by it.
Rory Farrell
But of all the books, I wish.
Damaris
You had seen my damn face. Just send you guys lots of love. This isn't even that serious.
Malcolm
I'm already over this guy.
Damaris
So thoughts, theories, concerns, I have them.
Rory Farrell
Maybe he's a history buff.
Damaris
I don't like my red flags to scissor.
Rory Farrell
Like, don't like crazy left.
Damaris
No, but I don't like my red flags to bump coochies. Like, why do you have more than one huge red flag? Like, just have one huge red flag. Maybe I could drive past it. But you got two big ass.
Rory Farrell
I fully understand reading my cough would be a red flag for somebody. What's the second one that he.
Damaris
The majority of the relationships in his life he's paid for. They have been like, prostitutes. Like, he pays for women, but he.
Rory Farrell
Wasn'T in relationships with that. He was just buying pussy.
Damaris
Yes, but that's. He's never had. Like, he's not known for having regular women. He just buys. That is a red flag when you're trying to get into a relationship with somebody.
Rory Farrell
But when she was saying, what would it be like to date a normal woman? I'll give the other side of this coin. Coin. The main real reason for prostitutes is for men in normal relationships to cheat without any problems.
Damaris
But that's not his.
Rory Farrell
Like, it's four people in normal relationships.
Damaris
Yes, that's what.
Rory Farrell
That's what people. Men do that.
Malcolm
Why do people say that?
Rory Farrell
Who do you think prostitutes the most? Married men or single men?
Malcolm
I think both.
Damaris
I think both. I don't think that's a specialty.
Malcolm
Yeah, that's why I don't understand. People say, oh, you know, guys that are in relationships, are married, they have sex with prostitutes because they don't want no problems. We see mad prostitutes cause problems every day on the top one. We see mad prostitutes do ig. IG lives and tell everything that happened and expose text messages. We see that all the time.
Rory Farrell
Remember the golden era when people were paying for pussy in return for silence? Now you're paying for a problem.
Malcolm
You're paying for a problem. You're paying. She want to roll out. She want to Rolex. She want like, she want roll. She want all kind of rolls.
Rory Farrell
How I paid for stress cinnamon rolls.
Malcolm
She want everything. Everything.
Rory Farrell
Okay, but I mean, she did mention he was a man of access, but usually that only happens with men that have a high status and they're trying to get some attention based off saying, hey, I was this guy, he was flying me paying for this and that. You know, that's Usually when we see. When prostitutes or escorts do that, it's for an NBA player. But if it's just a guy that may have a few dollars and some access, I don't know if prostitutes doing that. But I mean, this POD is not the one to be well versed in buying. But I've always felt that prostitutes were there more for married men than anyone else. Like, they're dating norm. Like they're in a normal relationship and it's not working. So they, instead of confined into a regular woman, they just go buy some.
Malcolm
I like.
Rory Farrell
I like, get it out their system.
Malcolm
I like that you feel like you said that. I feel like prostitutes are there for married men because I could promise you a prostitute is not going to be like, you married, right?
Rory Farrell
No, no, they're not.
Malcolm
If you ain't, that's the thing. If you ain't, I ain't giving you no pussy.
Rory Farrell
No, I'm just saying the highest clip of, like, why they're so in demand is more for men that are trying to escape for a second within their relationship where, you know, cheating is messy. If. Especially if you're, like, really talking to somebody else, that's where things get crazy. But if you just say, yo, here's a hundred dollars, because I. I mean, can't be that expensive these days. This is plummeting. I feel like on the n. No.
Damaris
Has actually gotten more expensive.
Rory Farrell
Good for. All right, Great for inflation.
Malcolm
That's America.
Rory Farrell
You're filling up your tank with these prices to just go buy. Inflated.
Malcolm
Yeah. I don't know how these guys burger.
Rory Farrell
But that's usually what men would do. Like, I know in this situation, I'm paying for something. It's a transaction. This girl won't text me. She won't show up my house. Like, that's what I always felt that was for. Because we've been in strip clubs that aren't like, say, starlets or like, you know, real strip clubs. It's usually like older businessmen that are probably truck drivers that are probably married. So I think there's a world where a man that did prostitutes, like, could just date a normal girl. He may. He may still those prostitutes, but I don't know if it's red flag that.
Malcolm
He'S dated them or if you love, you know. Great story. One of my favorite movies of all time, Pretty Woman. He got tired of dating normal women and married. Wanted to marry a prostitute.
Rory Farrell
We had Clay up here said he prefers promiscuous women. I think in this day and age, that's probably more normal than it's ever been. That men are just like. At this point, I don't even care. Matter of fact, let me go with the horror, because there's no surprises. I already know she's one.
Malcolm
Yeah. But I feel like men that only date promiscuous women, My ego's not built for that.
Damaris
I don't know how to say it.
Malcolm
Mom said something there, man. Something a little funny about that. Like, why you only like promiscuous women?
Rory Farrell
Because they.
Damaris
Well, in their minds, they're more fun, they're more open, they're more freaky, they're more experienced. And by promiscuous women, we're not just saying prostitutes. There's women that are promiscuous who don't sell it. Sometimes it's free, but they feel like they're more fun. But y' all have always said that hoes were fun.
Malcolm
Yeah, but I know regular girls that ain't hoes that are fun too.
Rory Farrell
And I know non promiscuous women that once you have an actual interaction with them and start dating for real, they're freakier than the oars. It's like, to me, it's more. I know where Maul is taking it, and I actually hope he lands that plane because I want. I know what he's trying to say. I know he's not saying it.
Damaris
That's why I said.
Rory Farrell
But I also think those men are also sort of like lazy because it's easy. Like, they're treating it more like a high and a dopamine shit.
Damaris
Like, they don't want to put work.
Rory Farrell
The work. There's no work or effort involved. Like, I'll go with promiscuous women because I know I could just be in like.
Malcolm
Yeah, I've had that. I had that phase where it was just like, promiscuous women because, you know, they're not looking for nothing serious. They're not looking to be tied down in a relationship, which is fine.
Rory Farrell
This isn't a slut shaming thing. I think people should do whatever the fuck they want.
Malcolm
But I mean, when you just like. Like that's all you want, it's just like, yo, you all right? What you going through, man? What's up? Like, that's all you want to date is promiscuous woman. Cuz I. I had a stage where I would date a lot of promiscuous women. But if I, in that moment, in that time, met a girl that was like a really good girl and was like, I would absolutely date her and be like, yo, I like her. Like she's cool.
Damaris
Like, yeah, you would date her but you wouldn't stop. You would. Would you have been faithful to her or you would have just dated her and walked her? Like was.
Malcolm
No, no, I was. It was, it was a time I was dating somebody seriously in my, in my whole face, if you want to call it that. Absolutely.
Rory Farrell
Why you do that, girl like that?
Damaris
Yeah.
Malcolm
No, I didn't. No. I mean I should have told her.
Rory Farrell
The, the filthy ran through man that you were.
Malcolm
Oh no, she knew that. She knew. She. She knows she saved me.
Rory Farrell
She didn't even know she had community dick. That's crazy.
Malcolm
No, she knew.
Rory Farrell
Beside though, every mall, everybody had that.
Malcolm
Nah, nah, that See, nah, don't do that. We're not gonna say everybody. Not everybody.
Rory Farrell
That's how you was raised.
Malcolm
Not everybody. But some women that shouldn't have. Absolutely, absolutely.
Damaris
Knowing you got community dick is like just why you signing up for? That's self hate. Why are you.
Malcolm
Y' all want community dick though?
Rory Farrell
I was about to. Let's not make this.
Malcolm
How much time we got, Josh? Y' all women like community dick.
Damaris
They do like it.
Malcolm
They do like it.
Damaris
But it's because I feel like women like it until you locked in like.
Malcolm
You, you'll get it. Until you get it and feel like you could stop it from being community dick and lock him down and have a family and have a house and home with him and then you realize like girl, ain't no changing.
Damaris
You see just how bad it is. Like until you see just how much how involved the is in the community. Like what the ties to the community are.
Malcolm
President of Neighborhood Watch.
Damaris
That should have you crying, throwing up and at the same time.
Rory Farrell
Yeah, no, he's. He's ghost in the last season.
Malcolm
He's.
Rory Farrell
He's going for political daughter got killed, didn't cry.
Malcolm
Savage got killed, went crazy.
Rory Farrell
Like he's. He's cutting ribbons in front of salons. Like he's that involved.
Malcolm
Yeah, yeah.
Rory Farrell
He's trying to clean up the community.
Malcolm
Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
Rory Farrell
But don't do that cuz the same way we're on men for going after the promiscuous women because sometimes they can be more fun or easy. Don't act like women that are not even hoes have a phase where they go after community dick because community dick's fun. You're going to go on a date at 6 o' clock and not get home till 4am you're going to go to three, four different spots. Community Dick is fun.
Malcolm
Peach cut the baby, dude. There you go. Look at her face, right? So you gonna have some of the.
Rory Farrell
Best dates of your life with Community Dick. He know all the spots. He know the waitresses.
Damaris
It's not worth it. It's not worth it, though.
Rory Farrell
He got the spot.
Malcolm
I mean, it's a fun moment, fun time, but y' all just getting y' all feelings, and y' all be like, yo, I just want him for myself, and he ain't. You know what I'm saying? He not ready to retire.
Rory Farrell
You've definitely went out with the guy that called the promoter twin, but you got a section in the bottle, and it was four fun.
Damaris
I've never in my life went out with a man that called the promoter twin.
Malcolm
Him and the promote. Him and the promoter got their own secret handshake.
Rory Farrell
You.
Malcolm
You walked in with.
Damaris
See, I think y' all make me look nasty. Make me look nasty. That's. That's gross.
Rory Farrell
I don't do that. Yeah, he community dick, but. But you on the riser at the Drake show, so.
Damaris
Y' all.
Rory Farrell
I. God is still, you know, God is still working on me.
Malcolm
God is watching us. I'm just from a distance. Remember that? That was my. In church.
Rory Farrell
That was a lifetime ago. I don't even remember that person. Yeah, I'm sure that was a whole entire. I don't even like that. That didn't even happen.
Malcolm
Did we help this young lady out at all?
Rory Farrell
She left him.
Damaris
She said she left him. But no, baby, them was two red flags. It's two. Two big red flags. Stay away from.
Malcolm
Stay away from.
Rory Farrell
I've never read that book. Like, what is it. It really about?
Damaris
Don't look at me.
Rory Farrell
I know, like, the history that, like, Hitler. He didn't write it right. He was just, like, into it. That's, like, what sparked the idea. Oh, he just straight up wrote it. Wow. Yeah. Maybe he's a history buff. I've watched some Hitler's documentary. I watched Hunters.
Damaris
I wouldn't be mad. I would.
Malcolm
Why is that a red flag?
Damaris
Yeah, I would read that.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
Not to, like, be like, oh, this guy's making great points, but it's a very historical thing.
Malcolm
Now, if I told you I'm reading that book and you come over and the documentary is on, then it's like, I fam.
Damaris
Are you taking notes?
Malcolm
Yeah, you all the way.
Rory Farrell
But, yeah, I see it as a red flag where you'd have to ask a few questions, like, damaris, you have the garage code of miles. Let's Say you just came in, didn't tell me, and I was upstairs, like, just watching Roots by myself. You'd have some questions.
Malcolm
Yeah, that's a long ass, that movie. Three weeks long. Yeah, that movie with commercials. He watching it with commercial.
Damaris
Oh, my God.
Malcolm
Yo. Watching commercials.
Damaris
That is law and Order at that point.
Rory Farrell
And, like, historical. Don't get me wrong. Classic. But, like, why are you watching this by yourself? Yeah, like, I gotta know why.
Malcolm
What's going on? Yeah, what's happening?
Rory Farrell
It could be innocent.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
But nah, What's. What's going on here?
Malcolm
Yeah, I need this. Questions. Definitely. Definitely some questions.
Rory Farrell
Or if, like, every time teaching you come over. I'm watching.
Malcolm
Yo, look at the book. The overview on the. On the minecamp F book 81. Like this book. See?
Rory Farrell
And this is why Kanye said he's no longer anti Semitic.
Malcolm
Exactly.
Rory Farrell
He's such a hipster.
Malcolm
He's sort of 81.
Rory Farrell
People like, nah, too much into this. Anti Semitism.
Malcolm
I don't like it.
Rory Farrell
He. He always goes against the grain. Now that it's being popular, he's like, no, I want.
Malcolm
Yeah, now that. Y' all like the Hell Hitler song. He like, man, nah, nah, I'm cool. I'm off that. Yeah. We ain't doing.
Damaris
I'm off that. But, yeah, I don't think we helped this young lady at all. But what the.
Malcolm
She helped herself. She left him, right?
Rory Farrell
Yeah. She stopped dealing with the time. It was.
Malcolm
Yeah, she knew what it was.
Damaris
Us.
Malcolm
It's all good. Shout out to that young lady.
Rory Farrell
But also, I believe in transparency in.
Malcolm
Relationships, but I thought she was about to say something else, but go ahead.
Rory Farrell
No, land your point from before.
Malcolm
No, no, no. Land your point from. I'm a change, man. Look at the range, man.
Damaris
I got a whole new game.
Malcolm
Got a whole new game plan.
Rory Farrell
I'm leaving out that. Like, I purchased a. If you get into. Know a girl and you were, like, a serious serial purchaser, is that, like, something you bringing up?
Malcolm
No, absolutely not.
Rory Farrell
Like, we all leave something off the table because one is from the past, and it's not coming back. And we don't even with that type of. No more.
Damaris
It's coming back. That's why you brought it up.
Malcolm
How?
Damaris
That's why he bought it up. It's coming back. He know that that's something she probably would have had to encounter in their relationship. That's why he.
Rory Farrell
How do you encounter addiction to prostitutes?
Malcolm
You bump into her at Starbucks. One of the girls you pay for.
Damaris
No, he was dating a girl and I think he wanted. Wanted to test her waters. Like, test her temp to see if she was okay with him purchasing. Because if she would have continued to date him, he probably would have continued to still purchase.
Rory Farrell
Oh, no, that's different. I'm saying if being a monogamous relationship and like, with her, but in his past, he's purchased.
Malcolm
Like, why would you even bring that up? Yeah, like, that's not a conversation piece. Like, she asked you, yo, so what's for dinner tonight? But yeah, you know, I used to pay for. Right, right.
Damaris
But if you haven't. I mean, sometimes you having, like, drunk strip Uno nights with your. The person you're.
Malcolm
Excuse me, you're having what?
Damaris
Drunk strip Uno nights with the person you're dating.
Rory Farrell
First of all, one on one Uno is funny as is. I'm just taking my clothes off. We can at this point, like, Maris.
Malcolm
Stop bringing your personal to work.
Rory Farrell
One on one Uno is crazy with.
Malcolm
Bringing your personal to work. Garus, nobody plays drunk strip Uno.
Rory Farrell
You just. That's her lucky day.
Malcolm
Yeah, like, what. What is that? Stop bringing your personal new life to work. Please leave it off camera and off my same way.
Rory Farrell
This gentleman shouldn't have brought up that.
Malcolm
He purchased play drunk strip Uno. Like, what are you talking. That's not even a real game. Yo, if you. You playing drunk strip uno, the matter. Slow down. Nobody's playing drunk strip Uno.
Rory Farrell
No, now I have question. What are the rules? Okay, first, like, it's draw two. Two items of clothes.
Damaris
That's not even a real.
Rory Farrell
Once you a draw 4. How many. How much clothes you even got on in the.
Malcolm
What's the reverse? I got to put on your panties by the first. My drawers. Like, yeah, reverses. I put on your thong. Like, what are we talking about? What is a reverse? Like, teach us. Teach us your moves.
Rory Farrell
A red flag if reversing. She's like, nah, but you got to.
Malcolm
Yeah, you got to put my thong on. You got me. This game is over.
Rory Farrell
I'm pulling the.
Damaris
I never want nobody's on my thong.
Malcolm
That pissed me off, man. Ass on your thong was great.
Damaris
That pissed me off.
Rory Farrell
Yeah, but back drunk.
Damaris
Okay, so that's not a real thing. I was just putting. Stringing words together. I was podcasting, like, what the bad. I'm sorry. I'm good at my job.
Malcolm
I thought you had a fl.
Damaris
My point was sometimes you get drunk with your partner in the house, and y' all are just bonding and having conversations, and I feel like that's when situations like that might get brought Up. I don't think he just pulled it out, like, over the scrambled eggs in the brunch in the lucky day album playing at dinner. Like, I don't think that that happened.
Malcolm
I done drink some of the best champagne in the world, and I ain't never drank enough to where I was. Like, I'm gonna tell her tonight. I pay for pussy.
Rory Farrell
And, like, go through the timeline that don't come up. My guess is she found something in, like, saw in his phone or some. Or, like, maybe there was a bunch of unsaved numbers that you could clearly see. This was a transaction. Because there's no way a man is just even in the midst of drunk. Uno. We've all been there.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
Strip. Uno.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
Was just like, hey, just let you know, like, through my 20s, I purchased, like, 15 to 20 prostitutes. That's, like, really what I was doing.
Damaris
Y' all never played let's get deep or, like, one of those, like, car.
Rory Farrell
Yeah. Played them all.
Malcolm
Yeah, I'll play this.
Rory Farrell
They're sing. They're. There's every card in that deck. There's certain things that's never coming out of my mouth.
Damaris
Really.
Rory Farrell
I don't care if it's a specific card of run through everything you've ever done. I'm still holding something down, and I want her to do the same. I don't need to know everything about everybody. Play partner. I don't. She.
Malcolm
You think we play those games and really, like, tell, like, the real. The marriage thing we get. We draw the card and be like, tell your darkest secret.
Rory Farrell
Doing, like, the beginning talking phases where you're still trying to give the better replacement. Represent your partner for real. They already know everything about you. You're not gonna play that game with somebody.
Damaris
I've played that game with somebody I was with for four years and learned more about them, and they learned more about me. It wasn't like, how many prostitutes we said, what?
Rory Farrell
How many prostitutes?
Damaris
He. I don't think he's ever bought prostitutes. I don't think we got that. We didn't. We didn't draw that card.
Malcolm
A girl bought that game to. To. We went out to dinner one night, and she bought a car game.
Damaris
That's cool, though.
Malcolm
I thought that was stupid. I don't think I ever spoke that after that. Why the. Are you bringing cars if we in the crib? If it's like, we chilling at the crib tonight, the game is on. We ordering some takeout. Whatever. We in a real restaurant.
Damaris
The restaurant is crazy. I went to. I Me and somebody I was dating at the time, we got drunk at dinner, and then we went to. I got drunk and wanted to go in Target. And he just was like, okay, buy whatever you want at Target.
Rory Farrell
The most richest woman on earth.
Damaris
I was just buying shit drunk in Target. And I bought that game at Target.
Malcolm
Damaris bought a beast chip.
Rory Farrell
And no, that was no.
Damaris
You know what's crazy? I tried to buy an Ottoman drunk. I tried to buy ottoman. He said, damaris, we're going to an Ottoman. He said, we're going bar after this. Where are you putting the ottoman?
Malcolm
You go sit on it at the bar.
Damaris
I was up.
Rory Farrell
Ottomans usually match the. What you have. So you just bought, like, a stray.
Malcolm
Yeah, it was a oneo.
Rory Farrell
That's like buying one Air Force One.
Damaris
Stupid. So. But we went. We ended up going to the Moxy Hotel Rooftop, and we were just chilling, having drinks.
Malcolm
You could have bought the ottoman there and.
Damaris
No, they would have. I bought that game and we. I had bought it in my Target bag, and we were playing it at the spot, like, so I feel like dinner is extra, but at the bar, like, at the lounge. I don't think that there's anything wrong with that. And we had bought the sexual one. So it was.
Rory Farrell
Go home.
Damaris
Yeah, you was at.
Rory Farrell
You was at the Moxie stripping.
Damaris
No, you don't. It's not. It's not a game where you do action. It's a game where you ask questions.
Rory Farrell
Okay.
Damaris
It's like a get to know you type thing.
Rory Farrell
So, yeah, imagine somebody's trying to enjoy their afterwork drink at the Moxie bar, and Tamar's telling him their sexual fantasies, like, can y' all go back to your room, please?
Malcolm
Yeah, I just thought.
Damaris
You're boring.
Malcolm
And the thing about that, the. The car game on a date is like, that's almost like having somebody in your earpiece and have somebody feeding you the questions almost to ask.
Rory Farrell
I'm not mad at it. I mean, a first date, I think that would be odd.
Damaris
First, but date, that's crazy.
Malcolm
First date, that's a red flag. Like, I'm leaving.
Rory Farrell
Yeah. First day. I would be creeped out.
Malcolm
That's.
Rory Farrell
That's the woman that comes in not dating for you. Dating for marriage.
Malcolm
Yeah.
Rory Farrell
Like, she don't care who it is, but I'm getting married.
Malcolm
Yeah, that.
Rory Farrell
I feel like that girl does that on the first date.
Malcolm
Absolutely.
Rory Farrell
Like, get to know me before. You want to know how many kids I'd like to have. Clearly, you're just here because you want that Eggs crack. Yeah, but I mean, I don't know. I'm with the. The card game shit.
Malcolm
No, not me.
Damaris
So what's your. Like what. What do you do on dates? Like, what's your fucking date?
Malcolm
Swag, eat, drink.
Damaris
You talk for a living.
Malcolm
Yeah, I talk on dates, too, okay? Have conversation, you know, have fun. Find to get into things like that.
Damaris
Okay, so if a girl told you.
Malcolm
Not. Nothing scripted.
Damaris
If a girl told you that she wanted to have a. Like, I want a fun date. I don't want to do dinner and drinks. Like, I want to have fun. Where would you take her if she.
Malcolm
Wants to have a fun date?
Rory Farrell
Strip club? Prostitutes.
Malcolm
I would probably take her to the projects.
Rory Farrell
Facts. Never know what's gonna happen happen there.
Malcolm
Take the elevator to the roof and. And tell her to get out. And I'm gonna. We're gonna race down. I'm gonna take the elevator to the lobby. She take the staircase and run down to the lobby and see who makes it for ma.
Damaris
I was being serious.
Malcolm
Me too.
Rory Farrell
You learn a lot about a girl with that.
Malcolm
Yeah. You ever ran down. You ever ran down a project staircase?
Damaris
Yes.
Malcolm
You raced the elevator.
Damaris
No, I didn't. I didn't race the elevator.
Malcolm
Ah. Do you? Go, go.
Damaris
Rory.
Rory Farrell
All right, I went up for the second date. Take her back to that same project. We both get in the elevator, and I scream, corners. And I just see what she does.
Malcolm
He w. Don't pay him no mind to Mary.
Damaris
I don't pay neither one of y mind. Like, what?
Rory Farrell
You don't think jumping somebody together would be a romantic second date? Like, me and her just beat up another couple?
Malcolm
Yeah, because you learned if she could fight, if she could hold her own, like, you got to see her. Her fight movement, her fight game, what her fight game looked like. I could see that being fun, and.
Rory Farrell
Maybe it's a little too forward. All right, date three. I think we could. We could fight another couple. Date three.
Malcolm
Start a fight.
Rory Farrell
Yeah.
Malcolm
Yeah, like that. Start a fight on day three, but.
Rory Farrell
Then it can get awkward.
Malcolm
That could lead to us going home and having sex. Yeah, like, if you could fight, Right?
Rory Farrell
It's a risk, though. Like, what if you win?
Damaris
By a girl. I could fight.
Malcolm
What?
Rory Farrell
I mean, I'm 35 now.
Damaris
Watch his baddies.
Malcolm
I'm watching baddies every week. I can't wait.
Rory Farrell
Watching it.
Malcolm
Oh, next Sunday.
Rory Farrell
The road goes crazy when he watches baddies.
Malcolm
Baby D, you got us. I'mma call you Sunday.
Damaris
Don't call me.
Malcolm
I'm calling you Sunday to make sure you Watching baddies. I'm calling you Sunday, baby D. No.
Rory Farrell
We should all get on Zoom and watch it together.
Damaris
Last of us comes on Sunday. Sunday.
Malcolm
Yeah, but I'm right. After that, it Paul lays in the baddies.
Rory Farrell
I'm also willing to record it, and then we could watch it together on a Monday morning.
Malcolm
Baddies.
Rory Farrell
Starting your Monday.
Malcolm
Nah, you can't start Mondays with baddies. Baddies is the end.
Rory Farrell
You want to end your week with.
Malcolm
It, you gotta end the week with baddies. Perfect. Perfect. Sunday night, go to bed and just play. You know, maybe life isn't that bad. Like, that's what baddies makes you feel like after you watch it.
Damaris
Like, if he lose, I can't him.
Malcolm
But see, that's.
Rory Farrell
But that's the risk. I like, see, I like that there's a risk.
Damaris
If he lose, I can't do that.
Rory Farrell
That there's a risk to it.
Malcolm
But lose how, though?
Damaris
Like, if you get put to sleep, hit back pockets. I can't. If you hit ground, I can't. If you hit ground, I can't. And if your face is up, I can't.
Rory Farrell
There's only two scenarios that would work. You both win or you both lose. Because you both lose. Yeah, it's embarrassing, but it's a. A bonding experience. We're going through some tumultuous together, but at least we did it together.
Malcolm
Yeah, cuz, like, if y' all both lose, y' all could go back to the. Like, yo, they packed us out.
Rory Farrell
That could be a fun bonding experience.
Malcolm
You can give back to kill. Like, yo, I ain't gonna lie. They packed us out.
Rory Farrell
Like, you could respect it. We fought a good fight, but maybe sipping paint is more our thing. Maybe couples fight club is not for us, but we understand who we are.
Malcolm
If they knock both of us out and we get back to the crib and we lumped, that's kind of fire. Like, yo, they could fight. We should. We should. Where you think they from now? They definitely from Brooklyn.
Rory Farrell
Yeah, and it's cute. Like, remember in loving basketball when there was, like, icing each other's knees and, like, that would be fun in bed.
Malcolm
Yeah. Pass me the wood, Chase.
Rory Farrell
But if one of you. Y' all lose and one of y' all win.
Malcolm
Yeah. That's a long ride home.
Rory Farrell
I don't even. Did we get a ride home?
Malcolm
We got how. How we got here? We got to get home.
Damaris
I feel like it's okay if she lose. Not me. Y' all speak for me. It's okay if she lose, but like.
Malcolm
If the man lose, it's n. But lose how? Like how did she lose? Like if she pulled your braids out like, like, like what you expect me to do in the house? Like I supposed to sit here, act like I don't see that patch? Like, like what we doing here? It's like, yo, like, you called your girl yet? The shop open at what time? Cuz you. She need to go. She need to fix that. Like, like lose how? Like if a girl just catch you and it's like, okay, she caught you, but she can't wrench you though.
Rory Farrell
Yeah, if she wrench you to the point that we. We're sitting in the back of the Uber and your titties is out. Cuz she ripped your whole shirt off.
Malcolm
Your titties is out in the back.
Rory Farrell
Of the Uber and you just sitting in the Uber like this and I.
Malcolm
Got to stop and get you a NYPD T shirt from the. From the tourist shop. And now they think I'm on a date with the feds.
Rory Farrell
This undercover cop. I. I do not have a driver's license. Get this cop out of my car. Yeah, you got to lose country today.
Malcolm
You can lose, baby D. But you can't get wrench, though. You can lose crazy. You can lose, but don't if shorty straight like wrench you and dragging you and they world stars. Nah, we can't do that. I gotta let her go. You gotta get your fight game up. I gotta.
Damaris
That's. That's crazy.
Malcolm
That's a fact though. Oh my God, that.
Rory Farrell
But then I feel like the woman should judge you based off the couple that you pick. Like if you, if you pick some squeak. Like, I feel like your girl's going.
Damaris
To look at you like, all right, yeah, I'm. That's lame.
Rory Farrell
That's.
Malcolm
And you got to let your girl start the fight.
Rory Farrell
You know what? It should be like a, A, A threesome to some degree. Let the girl pick.
Malcolm
Yeah, pick.
Rory Farrell
Let her lead. Cuz it could get weird if you pick and then jealous. Let. Let this be her thing.
Malcolm
Yeah. And she just so happens to go pick a fight with the guy with the cauliflower ears. She don't know what that is.
Rory Farrell
Babe, babe, I have to, I have to explain boxing and UFC to you. This is a disease that forms from somebody that has been in countless fights in their life. They're shaking like Ali. Like, nah, I'm not even see that.
Malcolm
She don't even see his ears. Like you across the diner like, yo, wait, I think that's Jon Jones.
Rory Farrell
And she don't understand sports brand. He at the club with a sleeveless Everlast shirt on. Like. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Not him, not him, not him.
Malcolm
Yeah, you can't start fight with somebody wearing an Under Armour T shirt. Nah, any. Any outside on a date with a Under Armour, drop it on. Nah, we can't fight him. You can't fight somebody wearing the Under Armour. Drive it to the movies. Can't do it.
Rory Farrell
He got on, you know, the Under Armour polo.
Malcolm
Yeah, the coaching.
Rory Farrell
That's the OG that could fight.
Malcolm
Oh, my God.
Damaris
One day I'm going tell y' all how a man tried to wear a Nike polo on a date with me.
Malcolm
Who you was dating Rory M. McElroy.
Rory Farrell
Who she went on cuz contractually he has to wear that on every day.
Malcolm
What was that? Phil Mickelson? Like a Nike traffic polo? Yo, she.
Rory Farrell
She was the first 20 year old to go after Bellich.
Malcolm
That was his casual. That was the Marisol dress. Casual. He put on a.
Rory Farrell
No, that wasn't his casual. That was his dress up. You gotta understand.
Damaris
Yeah, man.
Rory Farrell
That was his. We going somewhere nice?
Damaris
We were going to dinner, bro.
Malcolm
Oh my God. Crazy.
Rory Farrell
And I'm not materialistic or judging that way, but no, I fully understand a woman going like, I think I'm cool if homie shows up.
Damaris
In that.
Malcolm
Only person wearing a Nike polo shirt is a. That just came over doing 16 years and.
Rory Farrell
And that was. That was the only shirt at his mom's house.
Malcolm
He went in. Yo, that was dead when he went in. He came home and still in the closet. Oh my God, Josh. I'm sorry, man. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Went off the rails a little bit. Oh, man.
Rory Farrell
Okay.
Malcolm

“We don't need to take these moments to just scream at the top of our lungs for clicks.” [23:51]
Rory and Malcolm share their insights on the evolving nature of battle rap, discussing the balance between lyrical complexity and crowd-pleasing performances.
Malcolm points out, “You can be a battle rapper, but when it comes time to battle rap on records with music, having flows and things like that, it's a different ball game.” [71:06]
Rory agrees, suggesting that simplicity can often be more impactful in battles:
“The hip hop purists are gonna just have to face the reality that in the history of battling, the simple wins.” [69:29]
