Damaris
No worrying now.
Rory
We are back top of the week.
Mall
And better than ever.
Rory
I'm not quite sure if the dust has settled.
Mall
Nah, it's still done.
Rory
My allergies are still kicking in.
Mall
I got some clarity for you. Don't worry. I got some clarity.
Rory
How's everyone feeling? I have just. I've just been avoiding conversation with everybody.
Mall
Listen, man, I woke up this morning who they are. I woke up this morning and I hugged my son a little tighter.
Damaris
Well, don't piss me off.
Mall
I. All right, man. All right.
Rory
The weekend passed. I think we're. Have we gotten to the point that we could at least try to make some light of anything? No, it wasn't like a fresh wound.
Damaris
And.
Rory
Yeah, all right, we can make some Van Jones jokes now.
Mall
Yo, he. Listen, man, I. It gotta stop. When it's to the point where.
Rory
Stop. He got 100 mil.
Mall
Yeah, but when it's to the point where every.
Rory
I told you that we won't stop.
Mall
But when it's to the point where everybody know what you about to do. Like, everybody was tweeting, like, yo, listen, one thing's for certain, two things for sure. Either way, Van is crying tonight. Now, he didn't act. He didn't. No tears dropped, but he definitely was a little choked up, for sure.
Rory
That's his nature.
Mall
He said that, you know, people were scared to wake up the next morning. They didn't know. I'm just like, I just wish people would stop with the political theatrics. That's all. Vote for who you want to vote for. That's your business. But the political theatrics around everything, it just has to stop.
Rory
And now. Now that at least a weekend has passed and, you know, we had to talk about pressing issues last week.
Mall
Pressing.
Rory
They killed me. Election night of just tweeting, hey, Van Jones has enough airtime tonight to update us on where that Hunter mil is right now.
Mall
Nah, you.
Rory
You smoked me for, like, you need to pay attention. What's going on? Yeah, that's actually a pretty. It's a pretty big issue for me. That one of the richest men in America that owns the biggest company in America that's also going to space. Not just Elon gave somebody a hundred mil for the fuck of it.
Mall
Yeah.
Rory
And he is also on the TV. Yeah, he got $100 million and went back to work.
Mall
Yeah. Yeah. That's how you're supposed to do it.
Rory
No, that means there was something attached. Yeah.
Mall
You got to go to work.
Rory
So. Yeah, I don't think I was just Pulling some shit out of thin air for a fun joke on election night. Not the guy on the screen.
Mall
Right.
Damaris
I know you guys talk about leaving a lot.
Mall
Oh, no, it's happening.
Rory
I mean, regardless of what this election was. That was already. Already my plans. The next five years.
Damaris
No, yeah, I know, and I know we've talked about certain places you guys want to go. I know you said at one point Puerto Rico, possibly, or like Mexico. Did one of y'all say Mexico or London? I think that was the main one.
Mall
Yeah.
Rory
Me. Me and Azad are going out spring of next year to London for like two or three weeks to start looking at houses. I'm going to look at schools. But, you know, a lot of time in between then and now. But starting the process.
Damaris
Spring of next year is not a lot of time.
Rory
No, no, no, no. To start planning, like, oh, okay, 20, 25, five years from then. Okay. Elementary schools, middle schools or primary school, like that type of shit.
Damaris
Mario. And go to Hall.
Rory
And not to say London is. Is very. That much different than America, but I think it's a. The proximity of London is a good landing place to start for like a year or two to then travel and figure out where I would want to land.
Mall
Yeah, it's.
Rory
You know, the south of France is like going from New York to Philly. Like, London is just the center of everything as. As far as proximity. So that's just an idea. I mean, I'm. I'm not in a super rush, but I'm also on the Puerto Rico side. I'm on Zillow all the time looking at that Wouldn't be available by the time I'd go to Puerto Rico. But you get a price to get a gauge. Yeah, I get a gauge definitely.
Mall
And you know, it's happening.
Rory
Certain of your family members over there, like, it's happening with kids that can tell me where the schools is at.
Damaris
Would you Miss America? Do you think you'd Miss America?
Mall
I mean, I always come back to visit, but I know a bunch of people like that grew up on the same hood I grew up in. And they moved out of the country years ago. And the life for them is amazing. I have a cousin that he moved to Mexico during the pandemic. And he's like, he came back. He went to Tulum. The pandemic was March 2021. He went to Tulum. June. Came back to New York in September and said, bro, I will never live here again. And has been living in Mexico, like, has a nice spot working. You know what I mean, just like the way of life, it's just totally different. And not only that, what people don't know is how much of a community from people from Queens and Brooklyn live in Tulum. Like, people have already moved there that are from here. You know what I'm saying? So it's not like you're going in. It's just totally. It's like you don't have none of your people that can relate to where you come from. It's like, no, we have. They're all there. You know what I'm saying? So people have made the move out of America. I think, you know, the older people get and, you know, people figure out what they want for their lives and how they want to live. Once people start to travel and see different places, it's like that. That thing that's on Instagram a lot when people be like, they go to a new city and be like, yo, I could really see myself living here.
Rory
It's the same brunch was popping that dude.
Mall
Well, yeah, the French toast was amazing.
Rory
But the amount of times I've wanted to move to Dallas.
Mall
But that's a real thing. Like, people go somewhere and they just feel a different, you know, just way of pace of life. It's just the pace, the energy. It's like when you live, you know, in America and you live in major cities, like we do, like New York City, you can feel like, literally, we talk about it when we come back to New York after we've been, like, out of town, especially if we're in London for a week. And as soon as we land in New York, you can feel like all of the energy and just the stresses and just from getting to. From the airport home. And it's like, dog, I come back and I land right to this shit. Like, I was just somewhere when we were in Mexico. Mexico's in the mountains. Just chilling, like, just chilling. Easy way of life. We walking around the town buying fruits and tacos and shit. Nobody's yelling, nobody's arguing, nobody's cursing each other out. Nobody's worried about paying rent. You land at JFK and it's just like, oh, no, you right back to the shit.
Rory
The amount of people I've talked to that have moved out of the. The states that are not like hippies or like nomad people, that are just, you know, regular day working people are on the same exact vibe of like, I do not understand why you guys continue to live there.
Mall
I hear it all.
Rory
Because you think it's typically your hippie friends like Jay.
Mall
Right.
Rory
We know Jay would be like, why the. Are y'all there?
Mall
Yeah, like you expect that from him. But when you have people, that's not, like, traveling, man.
Rory
He will never be in the same place. Like, hates the States unless it's New Orleans.
Mall
Yeah, understandable. Great, great culture.
Rory
It's also the only city where you feel like you're not in America in the States. But, yeah, everyone I've talked to just leaves and doesn't understand why people stay there. And Damaris, to your question, would I miss America? I was running through the list of things that I may miss, of course. Family number one. But maybe it would be better to put a. Put an ocean between us for a little bit. Wouldn't be mad at that.
Mall
And you give your family somewhere to travel.
Rory
Yeah, I, I. The only thing that. And I'm not even trying to make a joke. Delis were the only thing that was, like, on my list.
Mall
Like, damn sandwich.
Rory
You think I'm joking, But he's. That he's the one thing I'm like, all right, no matter what, I need to be able to go to a deli 24 hours, seven days a week. I need to know that shit is right. Not even sandwiches. I need to know that's there. Yeah, that's the only thing. But I could. I could give that up. I could just.
Mall
You know, I think you'll.
Rory
I could shop on Monday for the week.
Mall
Yeah, you'll survive. You'll survive without the. Without the turkey and cheese sandwich for sure.
Damaris
It'll probably be better for, like, just not even just your family life, but just, like, your relationship. Your relationship, any relationship that you decide to get in. I feel like living in America, especially living in New York City, the amount of that's just in our faces all the time. I don't feel like we're very family oriented. Maybe it's because we don't have houses here, but.
Mall
No, it's because everybody got to work double, double overtime. And by the time they get home, it's just enough time to go to sleep and get up in the morning and do it all over again. So you don't have people sitting at the tables eating. Everybody orders. Uber eats and eats their food in their room, eat a burrito and go to bed. Like, you ain't sitting at the table to eat a burrito, eating that in your room, watching tv.
Rory
My, My man Garen grew up in Queens his entire life, then went into production. You know, he. He worked with us with. By any means. He did The Nas, NASDA Don Video produced that. Like one of the best video producers I've ever met in my life. Because he's so high strung, anxiety driven human being. Like one of those that you need to like grab his wrist and be like, you can't have any coffee, right? You're gonna die. Move to the south of France with his wife and two kids in a town that they don't even charge for food. It's just all the vegetables. Everything is just center in town. Take what you want, leave a tip if you need, and go back home. Change his entire life. High, high strung person was like, fucked it. I can't do this anymore. I'm done. And permanently lives in the south of France. Middle of nowhere too.
Mall
You wouldn't leave America, the marriage.
Damaris
If I wasn't such a family oriented person, I would in a heartbeat. But I'm too close with my mother and my father and sister come see me. No, it's not like that. I won't even move too far from New York because of how close I am with my family. I just, maybe, maybe one day I'll get to that point. But I can't, I can't leave my parents.
Mall
See, I'm just, I'm a fan of like having given my family somewhere else to like visit. Like, oh yeah, I never been here. I live here now. Like, y'all never been to Puerto Rico? I live here now. You never been to London? I live here now. You never been to Mexico City? I live here now. Like, get on a flight, come out for a week, stay in the other, the guest bedroom. Just show your friends and family a different way of living. Different ways. Cause people don't know because they never been, They've never been certain places. And then when they go, they're like, oh, this is real. People really live like this day to day. I could still like, you know, I'm in tune with what's going on. Like you said, the Internet is everywhere. Like you still know what's going on in the world. It's just that I no longer reside in the midst of that energy. Like, I don't live in such a society where everybody's focused on working and paying bills. It's like you caught in a cycle. Go to work, pay bills. That's it. That's literally what people are doing in America right now. They're just going to work if they are fortunate enough to have a job. Going to work, paying bills, rinse and repeat. It's like nobody's really enjoying life and just like, you know what I mean? Like we all have to work. I'm not against that no matter where you live in the world. But like that shouldn't be what people's. Every day, every waking thought is like, is to just wake up and go to work and pay bills and just die at the end of that.
Damaris
I think I would do well in a place that was more family centered, more community based. I'm a really community based person. If I could pick my. Like I said, if I could pick my parents and my sister up and take them with me would. As far as giving them somewhere to.
Mall
Where would you move to?
Damaris
Somewhere Island 1. One of the islands. I'm not against Puerto Rico, but one of the islands.
Mall
Turks.
Damaris
I would prefer a. I would prefer island that's not really that attached to the United States the way that Puerto Rico is.
Rory
I mean Puerto Rico, you're still like, you're not in like the sticks. Puerto Rico's modern civilization.
Mall
Oh no, it's a city.
Damaris
Yeah, like, no, no, for sure. I just meant as far as government wise. It's still a part of the United States. But yeah, definitely somewhere hot, somewhere warm, somewhere that isn't really tourist heavy. I would prefer like rural. Like you want to go off grid?
Mall
You want to go off the grid for real.
Damaris
I could be a farm girl for sure.
Rory
Government is your thing.
Mall
Really?
Rory
Then yeah, you'd have to go full farm because I'm not here to defend America. But let's not act like we are the only ones with a corrupt government in a first world or second world. Oh yeah, or third world. Like, oh, I could do Switzerland across the board. Government is pretty shitty. Not just us, Switzerland.
Damaris
I can do Switzerland too, which I've looked into.
Rory
Nice, nice pale, pale white man with blue eyes.
Damaris
No, I would have to take the husband. The husband. The husband got to be from Brooklyn. I'm taking the husband with me.
Mall
I can't from Brooklyn moving to Switzerland. They ain't got no chopped cheese out here.
Rory
Like, you know, you do a whole bunch of videos. I get my watches right from Switzerland.
Mall
I go to Switzerland to get my Swiss watch. A From the hood. Moving to Switzerland is definitely a series that I want to watch.
Rory
That's hilarious.
Mall
Put that in Switzerland to see how.
Rory
He adapt with your, your mother, your sister and nephew not moving far. But did you feel like a, a different dynamic with them when they left New York?
Mall
Nah, I mean they're not far that, that I have family down there, so I always visited the DMV area. It was just all about. I remember my mom having a conversation with her one day and, you know, the neighborhood I grew up in had changed so much. And a lot of the people that I grew up with, you know, everybody, once we got older, we kind of moved out. People had started families. So anytime I would go back and visit my mom, I felt like the visitor on the block that I grew up on because I didn't know nobody really that lived.
Rory
The immigrants.
Mall
Well, that too. So one day my mom called me and we was just talking and everything about her conversation was leaning towards, yeah, I think it's time to get out of here.
Rory
Yeah.
Mall
And so I just, you know, I just told her, I was like, well, listen, you retired now and if, you know, you want to move out, just let me know. And so she was like, yeah, hell yeah. So moved up, moved it down with my sister and my nephew, so. And they love it. My nephew loves it. He's golfing down there.
Damaris
What?
Mall
Yeah, like he said, it's a whole different.
Rory
He could have done Trump links in the Bronx.
Mall
He could have possibly. But you know, commuting in all of that, it's just, it's just a different way of life when you live in these, these towns, man, is, you know, it's like, I've seen it firsthand with family and friends that pack up and leave the Bronx or leave Harlem, you know, leave the, the five boroughs when they, they move out to different cities in different states or different countries. You can just see it. It's just a whole different way of life that opens up to them. That unfortunately you feel like, yo, if you would have stayed uptown, I don't know if you would have experienced this type of, I don. If you ever would have gotten into this type of shit, you know what I mean? So it's a real thing. And I think that that's something that a lot of people are talking about. A lot of conversations personally that I have with people, more and more people I'm starting to see, entertain the idea of either moving out of New York City or moving out of the country.
Rory
Yeah. What's tough, though, in no way discouraging people that want to leave the United States, but the structure of corporate and, you know, certain dead end jobs, it's tough to just pack up and leave.
Mall
Yeah.
Rory
Hates to go somewhere else.
Mall
Yeah, for sure.
Rory
It's a really expensive thing.
Mall
It's a luxury to back up and move to another city or country, be.
Rory
Able to find a job somewhere. Like that's, that's a, a major step which I fully understand why people would be like, nah, fuck that, because I could end up dead broke in on my dream island. Now I'm homeless, like, and you, honestly.
Damaris
You'Ll probably still have a better way of life than being dead broken homeless here.
Mall
I don't. I just feel like you put me anywhere, I'm gonna figure it out. I'm just that type of person.
Damaris
Same, same.
Mall
You put me anywhere, anywhere on God's.
Rory
Green earth, you'll double your word.
Mall
I just feel like that I relate to it. I relate. I just feel like, I'm like. I just think once you have certain things in you, no matter where you are, you're gonna be okay.
Damaris
Some people just work better within a system. They don't know how to operate outside of a system. I feel like it's easier for us and I think we've had this conversation when it comes to jobs because of what we do for a living and what we've done in the past for a living. We're not system based people. So it's easier. That idea is easier for us because we're going to make a way. We're going to create a way. That's why they call us creators. We're going to create a way. But a lot of people aren't like that. A lot of people only know school, school, school, school, work, work, work, work. That's it.
Mall
I think I want to go to culinary school.
Rory
I mean that was always. Yeah.
Mall
I think once you know how to like really cook, you can live anywhere in the world and be okay.
Damaris
Yeah.
Rory
Probably become a better chef than. Yeah, the shit we have here.
Mall
You know, I feel like that once you know that, it's like, oh, you're a chef, you can go anywhere in the world and get, and be perfectly fine anywhere once you have that skill. I believe that. Yeah.
Rory
But then you just have to figure out social media so you can like sell yourself to be a private chef somewhere. Yeah, it's just business. And your craft goes hand in hand with everything that you want to do. Which is why I think system sometimes is okay. Like I was, I was not my entire life some crazy, yo, the system, I'm never doing the job thing. Like I'm always gonna work for myself. I wasn't always that person. I went to college, I got a corporate job, I went through label system stuff, which I think worked out for me. I learned a lot of valuable things when I was doing the system, but it wasn't for me. Once I got in there, I was like, nah, I can't do this. But I learned a lot of valuable. So if someone is in that type of environment, you could break free and just take what you learn there, right? Especially on the business side. If you want to go do your passion, take what you learned over here and go do it elsewhere.
Mall
We should move to Africa and like, just build a village.
Damaris
I was thinking, I was gonna say, like, have you guys considered?
Rory
I'll reach out to Akon.
Mall
Yeah, just build a village over there.
Damaris
I have a mutual who moved to Ghana. Him and his wife and his three kids. And I think he was saying he pays $800 a month for this big ass damn near mansion. It's like four bedroom, four bathrooms. Like, it's amazing. And then they have like in the back, they have like a restaurant. They wouldn't opened a restaurant out there.
Mall
Let's move to Africa.
Rory
My like, Nas and like, yo, I.
Damaris
Literally was about to say, I like.
Mall
Sincere and Tommy Buns, like, this Africa, man.
Rory
Somebody has to shoot me in the leg and then I have to walk into your house and go, yo, Mo with the bullet. I didn't go to the hospital. I went to your house. Yo, mall. Fuck it, man. Let's get out of here. Sincere. What about the bullet in your leg? Let's get that out your leg before we go to jfk.
Mall
We out before we go to jfk. Take the bullet to Africa with us and then take it out over there. We just get the out of here. Them niggas might be waiting outside of Jamaica Hospital. Let's get the. They might be doubling back to finish the job. Let's get out of here.
Rory
Do you think what. What was T. Bos's name in that in belly?
Damaris
I think it was T. Was.
Rory
It might have been T. Yeah. Was that some, like, dirty mackin she did when she met up with Keisha and Soho when she was on Tommy, like, if I was sincere, I would have been like, what you doing?
Mall
No, but that's how girls gonna talk to each other. You know that.
Rory
But they didn't know each other.
Mall
Nah, but it's still like, they knew.
Damaris
Enough about each other.
Mall
Our boyfriends are like best friends. Like, you know, so it's kind of like, girl, I'm just looking out for you. Like, I ain't telling you what to do, but like, you know better. Like, you know, you know the type of guy he is.
Rory
Like, T Boss gave her the best advice ever. But that could, like, especially the way Buns is who named him that, by the way, in the writing room?
Mall
Tommy Bun we're name him Buns.
Rory
The way Buns was, I could see him killing. Killing Nas over his girl. Going, take my girl to Soho.
Mall
And on me went off for a good girls date. Little shopping, little lunch.
Damaris
They met. That was the original Basketball Wives meetup.
Mall
Like, it definitely was. They just set up a date with two girls that don't know each other. Like, girl, we're gonna go get something to eat, go shopping.
Rory
Just. Just walking Soho. That's hilarious. What were we talking about before? How did Belly get brought in this?
Damaris
Africa, yo, Africa.
Rory
So my. My Neo. My. My frat brother Peter, who I pledged legally. Like, he was the next semester after me. He was from Nigeria, couldn't get his work visa. He stayed here for, like, maybe four or five years, but ended up having to leave because he couldn't get a proper work visa. And we were, like, trying to figure out anything, calling every noob like, yo, can we just get him a specific job just in the meantime? So they didn't send him back to Africa. No pun intended.
Mall
Yeah.
Rory
At the end of that shit, he was like, nah, it's cool, man. My dad is the general of the Nigerian army. I'm royalty in Nigeria. I said, I've known you for seven years, and you're just telling me now that you are royalty in Nigeria?
Mall
Yeah.
Rory
He's like, yeah, I'll be fine. Peter has not been back to the United States.
Mall
Why would he?
Rory
Since 2012.
Mall
Why would he?
Damaris
Yeah, he was like, it's cool out here. I had a little. Had a little shindig, Had a little came, experienced it.
Mall
I see what y'all be doing in America. I don't really jack it. I'm out of here. Going back to my land.
Rory
I'm not gonna work at J.P. morgan with my NJCU degree.
Mall
Yeah. No.
Rory
And make 45 grand a year. Nah, he's royalty over there.
Mall
Yeah, I'm going.
Rory
Hasn't been back.
Mall
It's an experience. I think people come from other countries to experience America. Yeah. But then they go back home and they, like. It's. It's crazy over there. They. They arguing about who they voting for. Fighting dumb.
Rory
I guess we should have, like, raised some questions because he was the first person I ever met in real life that knew karate. Like, not fake karate. Like, he knew karate.
Mall
Yeah.
Damaris
How'd you find out that he knew?
Rory
I saw him whoop somebody's ass, like, with karate. Not, like, the way we fight.
Mall
Like, he really knew what he was doing.
Rory
Yes. Like, he was doing spin kicks in a street fight. And Peter's like. Peter's like this.
Mall
He's way smaller than me.
Rory
£90.
Damaris
You don't land that kick.
Mall
You gotta land that first kick, because if you try to spin kick me and miss, you're not getting the second one off.
Rory
Like, he. He knew karate, and I should have asked, like, yo, how you know karate? Your dad is the head of the military.
Mall
Coming to America, you seem to Simeon and fair. Every morning they. They trained.
Damaris
Every morning they trained.
Rory
I wasn't racist enough to think, you know, that was. All my thoughts of Africa came from coming to America.
Mall
They tried to show you. Yeah. That's how they do it in the Kingdom.
Rory
Sorry. He didn't walk in with a bear wrapped around him.
Mall
Yeah.
Damaris
Did he ever whoop your ass?
Rory
Nah, he was younger than me. I whooped his ass.
Damaris
Legally?
Rory
Yeah. No, with words. Take the test.
Mall
Yeah, take the test.
Damaris
Were y'all really, like. Was it really, like, school days? Like, were y'all really, like, making people fish, like, out of, like, toilet bowls? Like, okay, just.
Rory
You think I fished out of a toilet bowl?
Damaris
I don't know what you did. I know they spanked you a little bit with that cane. I don't know what. What y'all was. What freaky y'all had going on over there.
Rory
I mean, you know, don't kink shame me.
Mall
Maybe he likes getting beat with a. A cane that looks like a peppermint.
Rory
Like a Christmas toy.
Mall
Yeah, like a candy cane. Like a little candy cane across his backside.
Rory
You're gonna have all the Greeks mad in our comments again.
Mall
Damn.
Rory
Again, Yoda, as a proud, proud member of the Divine Nine, we're sensitive, man. It's okay for people to make jokes on us, like, let it go. Some of the shit is funny. It's okay.
Mall
Even though we want to. Equality. Everybody get these jokes. Alphas, Kappas, Omega side, and the ones.
Rory
That be mad, let them get the jokes.
Damaris
Y'all mean, like, 40? Why are y'all mad about this shit? Y'all?
Rory
Like, no one's actually disrespecting what we stand for, what we do for the community. It's just so love. Yeah. If someone just saw me spinning a cane, they would probably call me a gingerbread man.
Mall
Naturally. Yeah.
Rory
Like, why do you have that. That. That peppermint.
Mall
Like, what else am I supposed to.
Rory
That peppermint treat in your hands?
Mall
Exactly. Don't take it so personal.
Rory
Yeah. But anyways, Damaris, you would have been a Kappa, sweetheart.
Damaris
I feel like, what's a Kappa, sweetheart?
Mall
I'm surprised you're not in a sorority, all right?
Damaris
You can't be surprised at that.
Mall
I am.
Damaris
You can't be surprised at it.
Mall
Why?
Damaris
You can't be surprised. You know, you should know me well enough to know that you can't be surprised at that. No, I considered it at one point. I considered.
Mall
I'm sure you did.
Damaris
But the process to do it. My pride is too. You don't do well.
Mall
The one thing I noticed. I don't think you do well with authority. I don't think you do well with somebody telling you to do something.
Damaris
No, I don't. You're right. See, that's my fault, you know, that I think about it.
Mall
Now that I think about it. Yeah. I think that a girl in your face telling you what to do, you'll be like, baby, let me.
Damaris
Hold on. Let me tell you something, shorty. Back the fuck up.
Mall
Like, I'm gonna do it, but not because you told me to do it.
Damaris
Exactly. It just wouldn't be good. And that's not me.
Rory
But that's the. That's ego dressed up. Yeah, I'm gonna do this. But it's not.
Mall
But it's not.
Rory
I want you to know it's not.
Mall
Cuz, you know, you told me to do it, I'm gonna do it.
Rory
I'm gonna leave the room. But I'm not. I'm leaving because I want to leave.
Mall
Exactly. Yeah.
Damaris
And I also. I just didn't like the idea of paying for. Paying to be a part of a group, like, now that I'm older.
Rory
That's a big misconception.
Damaris
I understand more about it. But when I was younger, it was like, I'm paying for friends.
Rory
No, that's not happening whatsoever. Yeah, not even like a little bit. But I can see how someone could interpret it that.
Damaris
Yeah, when I was young, I was 15 years old, so I was like, no, I'm not paying for friends. And y'all not about to be. I knew girls that were like, pledging, y'all not about to do all that to me. Who bug the out. I just wasn't like that. But I mean, I look back now when I was applying for jobs and like that, I'm like, damn, I wish I had that network. Oh, reggae. I regularly think that. I wish I had that network shot.
Rory
Money kept me in that DEF Jam building. I give everything to him, but the days, because, you know, he was an A and R, he's mostly in the studio. How I stayed mostly in that office before I got the full time gig was all because Of Q's, akas, Deltas. It was just the network of. Of Greek life.
Mall
Yeah.
Rory
And that's really what helped me stay in that building. So, yeah, it's there. You're not paying for friends. It's just a. It's a nod of I understand you, you understand me, and we look out for each other. Hey, we weren't friends. And different organizations too, at that, so there is value to it. I was going through my camera roll last night looking for a different photo, and I found a hilarious photo of Peach that I just texted to you.
Mall
Ooh, what's Peach doing?
Rory
Just since we're talking about, like, old.
Mall
Days, and Peach had me crying election night, bro. In the text, I was crying.
Rory
How do we make that photo bigger?
Damaris
Yeah, I'm trying to get it.
Rory
Property of Mike.
Mall
Peas would have on a Property of Mike Jones.
Rory
I respect it, man. No, I saw this photo and didn't laugh. You know what? I respect PG even more.
Mall
He's the forearm sweatband. Where were you going? Just outside chilling. With the forearm sweatband.
Rory
You'Ve clowned me for. I did the same thing.
Mall
Y'all, really? We wore headbands. I won't say we did wear headbands without jerseys, but never the forearm sweatband. The forearm.
Damaris
And he has, like, a band on. Like. Were you leaving the club?
Mall
I could promise you each was not leaving the club. Right there.
Rory
You were this high school, right? Oh, that was. That was the best Rack Strong era.
Damaris
Oh, my God.
Rory
Living strong for his. His balls.
Mall
He had cancer. Lance Armstrong.
Damaris
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Rory
Live strong. He was taking steroids. I need to live strong for you.
Mall
I mean, he still beat cancer, though. We saw that. We saw him do that.
Damaris
How you see him do it?
Mall
We saw him. We saw him when he looked like he was about to die.
Rory
Tom Green beat it too.
Mall
Yeah. Shout out to the legend Tom Green as well. The Canadian legend. Yeah, that.
Rory
Yo, we give shit to politicians. That Livestrong scam was the craziest thing that's never brought up. The fact that there's not a doc on Netflix about the Livestrong band is insane to me.
Mall
But they. They. They. They talked about it in Lance's. In his documentary, right? I think they talked about the whole Livestrong thing.
Rory
Did Live Strong.
Mall
I think they did, if I remember, because that. That Lance Armstrong documentary was really good.
Damaris
So what. What were we buying them bands for? Like, was it for cancer research?
Mall
Yeah, support cancer research.
Rory
But it was, like, the first time those, like, rubbery bands existed, so nobody really Cared about ball cancer. It was just yellow and, like, rubbery and cool. Like, we were wearing actual rubber bands at that point.
Damaris
Yeah.
Rory
And then you had this cool or notice dollars.
Damaris
Did you guys have the sex bracelets? The sex bracelets that had you. You were a little bit too old. They were, like little squiggly bracelets. They were rubber.
Rory
No, but I know you're talking about.
Mall
Yeah.
Damaris
Yes. Like, they. Different colors.
Mall
What did you do with it? Like, what did it do for your sex?
Damaris
It was supposed to. In high school, I think it meant, like, if you had, like, a certain color of this, you've done, like, either certain positions or certain things like that. But it was stupid. It was. We were kids and lying. Like, it was stupid.
Rory
Yo, that there was, like, the virgin one where, like, the chick would start judging. All the other show up to lunch with the.
Mall
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. They had a band for virgins to wear that.
Rory
It was a whole. It didn't last. Like, once the schools got a hold of this, you thought it was Ban the Snowman. Once the principals found out what these things meant, they were walking around with scissors cutting these shits.
Damaris
Yep.
Mall
Wait, what year was this?
Damaris
Oh, God. I want to say five, six.
Mall
Oh, my.
Rory
Maybe 04.
Mall
Maybe.
Damaris
Oh, I don't know. I think maybe 08.
Mall
We had the.
Rory
I think you. Y'all might have just got it later. I think 05p.
Mall
You had those bracelets. So those are like. Guys, like, boys was wearing them, too.
Damaris
Everybody had them. Oh.
Rory
Like, if you go home, then the virgin waist.
Mall
If you go home tomorrow. If you go home today and come back tomorrow with the Doggy Style Band. It's like, everybody see it.
Rory
But I feel like every school probably had, like, a different color for a different thing. They were all based on.
Mall
Oh, yeah. Had your own chart.
Rory
But it was. They were all just like this.
Damaris
Yeah. What I think it was. I think they had a run from, like, 03 to, like, 2010. Like, they had a run.
Rory
If.
Mall
That is crazy.
Rory
If I. If Amara came home with a forearm full of fucking bands.
Mall
Just shut up, man.
Rory
And then we got, like, an email from the school. Like, yo, check if you're.
Mall
Check if she has the green one. That means she's giving head.
Damaris
I think green did mean the stupidest email ever.
Rory
Imagine a principal breaking down to the whole email. Female server.
Mall
Yeah, the chart. She's in the chart. And you see your daughter at the dinner table with all his bands on you. Like, oh, my God.
Rory
The violet one is pumpkin.
Mall
If it's orange that means. That means it was more than one guy in the room. And you sitting at the dinner table, your daughter got a arm band full of them shits.
Rory
And my, like the night before, I was complimenting like, oh, I love all the colors on your. Your arm.
Mall
That is cute and fun. I think I do remember those, but I thought it was like, just like. I thought it was like Gay Pride or something.
Rory
Like that mall you guys were dealing with those gang beads.
Mall
Yeah, that was the time, man, when the Bloods was uptown cutting everybody face on Friday.
Damaris
Oh, my God, on Fridays. That was like. Like fish fry cut face day.
Mall
Yeah, it was initiation Fridays. They were like, yo, Blood is going to be outside. That used to be a real thing. Niggas used to be scared at 2:30. Used to peek out the door like, yo, they out here because nigga cut my face. Everybody got to die.
Rory
And I me being so green and ignorant to that. When I was in Concourse Village with my man Danny, he had one of those and I thought they were like spiritual beads. He was like, no, it's gang.
Mall
I was like, it's gang. Shit.
Rory
I thought she was like, gonna be on 2 fifth selling oils.
Damaris
Nah, 2 fifth selling oil.
Mall
We on 2 fifth cutting shit.
Damaris
Did y'all know that the Yankee hat is like gang affiliated in LA?
Rory
In LA?
Mall
Yeah.
Damaris
I didn't know.
Mall
Long Beach Crip, a 60s neighborhood.
Damaris
I didn't know that.
Rory
You think Vince Staples, New York Yankees.
Damaris
I didn't know that.
Rory
Well, I'd see.
Mall
I don't even know what is the Seattle Mariners hat is 60s.
Rory
I thought that was Southside Crip.
Mall
No, the Seattle Mariners hat is 60s.
Rory
All I know is Vince Staples, who is not gang affiliated, wears a Yankee hat because he's a fan of the New York Yankees.
Mall
Let me call my. My gang.
Rory
Our senior gang.
Mall
My senior gang correspondent.
Rory
You know what? This would be a good teachable moment. We're not even trying to do gang. Let's just make people aware of what they're wearing.
Damaris
Is that my homie?
Mall
Nah, you don't.
Rory
With you banging.
Damaris
He begging. He busy.
Mall
I could. I could. I could call. I could call.
Rory
You can't call a gang banger in the middle of the day.
Damaris
Call the one that was at my birthday. Don't you know?
Mall
Oh, he know. That's not. That's what I'm calling now.
Rory
Yo, I said that was your type. And you're like, no. And look at you now.
Damaris
That's my homie. It's running joke. Don't do that.
Rory
He's Dateable.
Damaris
He don't want me.
Mall
Your call has been forwarded to gangsters. They sleep all day. They wake up at night.
Damaris
Vampires.
Mall
Yeah.
Rory
Where did you find out that the Yankee Hat was gang?
Damaris
One of my Crip friends.
Rory
That makes sense.
Damaris
Crip affiliated friends.
Rory
Well, yeah. Don't. Don't wear any team in Los Angeles. Like, what's.
Damaris
Well, I'm good. I mean, I've been to LA so many times with you guys, and I.
Rory
Never knew because we don't go where that would happen.
Damaris
Oh, so if I wear it in West Hollywood, I won't get jumped?
Mall
I think it depends, man. If you get jumped in West Hollywood, that ain't. It's a different game. That ain't that. That ain't 60s, that ain't pirouz.
Rory
That whole thing with Quando Rondo happened across from the Beverly center.
Mall
Like, but he was being. That was. He was being followed. That's different. He wasn't, like, just in West Hollywood, and people that beat in West Hollywood did that. Like, he was followed.
Damaris
The people that beat in West Hollywood?
Mall
Yeah.
Damaris
I've never been in West Hollywood and seen any. I barely see black people. I don't even think.
Mall
And it's funny, because West Hollywood, I think, has the highest crime rate in California.
Rory
It does.
Mall
People don't even know that. But it's like, it's petty. It's breaking cars, like, in cars, probably, like, home and like that. It's not, like, serious crime.
Rory
I. I showed up to T's crib and just was like, oh, Astro fans, let's talk baseball.
Mall
Nah, you don't want to wear that.
Damaris
Why you telling his business?
Rory
I don't need to tell anyone that T wears a Houston Astros hat.
Mall
You don't. They know that already. They're very, very aware.
Rory
The name of their podcast.
Mall
Shout, Man.
Rory
Do you definitely shout out to AD&T row?
Damaris
Are y'all against dating women who previously had a gang?
Mall
Yep.
Damaris
You don't even know what I'm gonna say.
Mall
So once you said a woman had a gang. What?
Damaris
A. She had a gang member as a partner in her previous life.
Mall
Although you meant, like, she had a. She was in a gang.
Damaris
No, I know. You're not dating gang member.
Mall
Yeah. If she dated a gang member. Yeah, I don't care about that. That's. That's whatever.
Rory
I wouldn't date Cardi B. Yeah. That's big brim.
Mall
But, I mean, she also is doing well.
Rory
She was. For real.
Mall
Yeah. But she's doing very well for herself now, though. Like, okay.
Rory
She's left a life.
Mall
Yeah, yeah, she. I'm not. I'm talking about, like, she still might be active like Cardi. Man, sit down, Cardi. She better.
Rory
Not that I believe all the court systems, but I read that paperwork of rappers I thought were not active, and boy, were they active. They got a lot going on for themselves. I didn't think anything was going on. They're more active than they were when they were teenagers.
Mall
Yeah, that's a fact. These catching RICO's, why they got a deal. Like, nigga, do you know you are signed to a major label? Are you still catching a rico?
Rory
I paid for it to become a rico.
Damaris
I had that conversation last night where a lot of these, especially these young rappers are making diss records because they're in like gang beef. And then like the diss record, like, pop off and it's like, oh, well, I'm gonna take this money. But like, I am still a gang member. Like, this is fresh and new.
Mall
Can't get away from the life.
Rory
Yeah. The guys we're dissing have nothing to lose. They're just gonna be like, hey, he got a deal. Let's leave him alone.
Mall
Yeah, right. It don't work.
Rory
No. Now you're more of a target. But now I know where you at. To answer your question, hypothetically, no, I don't. I don't think I'd care.
Mall
I wouldn't.
Rory
How? Like, as long as she ain't still like, far removed.
Mall
Yeah, yeah.
Damaris
Let's say four years.
Mall
Nah, it's not long enough. Somebody might spin the blocks while we at. While we at Whole Foods might try to get us get back. Imagine I'm with my girl. She the ex gang member. And I. And I'm just like a square. We had Whole Foods. Yeah. Run down on your girls. Like, yo, what the. What life did you live? Like, where you from? Your girl getting jumped as a woman, a grown woman by some dudes or.
Rory
What if she was like, really knee deep in the gang shit and had to go to witness protection and like, you meet her in Utah and just wife her and then they find her and now you really have to beef with the Crips in Utah.
Damaris
Damn, I should write that.
Mall
I'm say I stay out of gang shit. I ain't got nothing to do with that.
Rory
You go, I got three.
Damaris
Leave it here.
Mall
Yeah, she got it. She got to deal with that herself. That's because if it was me, I would. She wouldn't deal with it.
Rory
I would have some. Some questions. If she was in a Gang.
Mall
How deep in the gang were you? Did you get jumped in? Did you get fucked in?
Rory
You beat me to my. My next point. Yeah, like, we'll get to the history of what you did in the game, how you got into the game.
Mall
Yeah, the gang shit is crazy. Some girls get on the set.
Rory
Yeah, Wait, that's. I thought that's common knowledge.
Mall
Getting.
Damaris
That's crazy. Why do. Don't gotta get in. Why just me jumped?
Mall
What?
Damaris
Jump me then.
Rory
Yeah, that's a fraternity. Yeah. Come on. Don't you know anything?
Mall
Yo, shut up. Everybody knows that.
Rory
Yo, what do you think? The cane went all right.
Damaris
See, I'm. I'mma cut that out because they gonna be on your ass.
Mall
He's a ka.
Rory
I didn't say funny entendre too. They gonna be on your ass.
Mall
I a say that, but.
Damaris
No. Yeah, but why I can't get jumped in. Why I gotta get in?
Mall
Like. No, you can get jumped in. You. You choose whether you want to get jumped in or in. Jump.
Damaris
I'm taking jump.
Mall
And they respect you. You know, I'm saying, like, you. They like. Nah, she really.
Rory
That's a freak if she choose to get in and just jumped in.
Mall
Crazy.
Damaris
Well, you. I don't think you ever had six like Crip. Like, pistol whip.
Rory
Whatever you're about to say, the answer is no. However you.
Damaris
You might take it, I promise you.
Rory
The answer is no.
Mall
I've never had no Crip gentleman try to do anything to me.
Rory
Answer is no to anything you're about to say.
Mall
Oh, my God.
Damaris
Yeah. Getting. I'm not taking. Getting in. But you. So. So if she did get in, you don't want.
Mall
Hell no. You crazy.
Rory
Definitely not. Because now even more. I feel like her comrades have more of a tie to her. Like, that's really. That's really big girl.
Mall
Yeah, that's my.
Rory
Like, if she got jumped in like that, that might be her bros. Like, they may even look out for me.
Mall
Like, she got jumped.
Rory
We gonna look out for you.
Mall
That's a fact. Like, she got jumped. And she really was in the backyard swinging on niggas.
Rory
If you do right by her, we gonna do right by you. But if she got in, that's our. That's ours.
Mall
Yeah, they don't respect you. They like, yo, you white. Come on, fan. She for the set. Ain't your girl. That's.
Damaris
No, they can't treat. They treat you like that if you get in.
Rory
The fact that you think gang members are progressive is hilarious.
Mall
Like, you think they be like, nah, we the end. But chill. Don't do that.
Rory
Like, what we. We respected Because.
Damaris
Because, well, what's the point of becoming part of the gang? Like, if. If you me in, like, I'm supposed to be part of the gang. You're supposed to protect me like I'm gay.
Mall
They gonna protect you from other gang members. Like, other gangs from other neighborhoods. You. You part of our set. But if the big homie horny right now, you on the set with them at the dope spot, the trap. He gonna be like, yo, let's go in the room. Like, what's up? I'm horny. But you gonna be like, no, gang, gang. He already smashed you. Like, he jumped you. He fucked you on the set.
Rory
You ten toes or not.
Mall
Yeah, you like the housewife. Like, you the big homie have sex with you. You cook for everybody. All the homies come through. You cook.
Damaris
Oh, my God.
Mall
Yeah, it's like that.
Rory
It's a gang. You thought, like, gang life was like a fairy tale.
Damaris
No, but, like, I thought, like, you know, like, okay, I didn't know about the in part, but, like, if you get in, like, I thought, like, you in. Like, we're like, we brothers now. Like, it's.
Rory
This was like the time J.D. vance, you called your bros before his biggest inspiration.
Damaris
I've never. Somebody that called my bro I somebody. And then later they became a bro.
Mall
Exactly.
Damaris
Same you, but I didn't get I.
Mall
You on the set. And now you call him the on the set.
Damaris
Okay, that's.
Mall
Hold on. That's. That's. That's the. That's the og Triple OG Calling back. Hold on.
Rory
Yo, change his voice page.
Mall
Yo, quick question. I got you on the air. I just want to ask you two questions real quick. A conversation came up. I'm not going to say your name. What. What gang does the. Did the Yankee hat represent in LA?
Rory
Allegedly neighborhood.
Mall
And the. And the Seattle Mariners is 60s, right? Yep. And we absolutely cannot be wearing a Houston Astros hat, correct?
Rory
Hell, no. No. That's the last hat you want to.
Mall
Get caught with on.
Rory
I'm so happy I don't wear hats.
Mall
Yo, I thought. I thought I was right about the Yankee hat being a neighborhood, but I wasn't. I wasn't.
Rory
That thing with Vince is there's something with Long beach in the New York.
Mall
Yankee hat neighborhood all day. You can't get that confused with nothing. And then that. That. That. That ass hat is synonymous with 60.
Rory
But the Southsiders message, they were called it. And then.
Mall
And then. And then the shotgun Chris wears sometime. But nine times out of 10 or.
Rory
Nine point out of nine, you see.
Mall
Somebody with answer on there from 60s copy. All right, I got you. All right, I'll call you when I get out of here. All right. All right, peace.
Rory
I thought maybe they were a fan of Ichiro.
Mall
Probably still. Probably still a fan.
Damaris
Well, is there a career path that's a deal breaker for you since y'all are against dating if they can't be gang bangers, like, what else can't they do?
Rory
Gang mom.
Mall
Yeah, that's probably a career path that's a deal breaker. Like if. If I found out a woman, this is what she used to do.
Damaris
Yeah. Like you. Or this is what she does, period. Like, you can't. Like just some careers you just won't.
Mall
Fuck with if she's a mattress actress. I don't know if I could really, like.
Rory
If they could define mattress actress for us, please.
Mall
Well, you know, if you have, like, you're a porn star or, like, you know, your. You masturbate on camera.
Rory
Okay.
Mall
For the whole world to see.
Rory
So from porn star down to independent only fans.
Mall
Yeah, I just. I don't mind if now I don't know.
Rory
See, you know what? Don't give that side, because I think it's okay for a man to not disrespect women that do that stuff, but say, hey, that's not for me. No, no. When it comes to dating, it's really okay. Like, I don't want to date a.
Mall
Girl that does only fit the reason why I'm signed.
Rory
Shaming men into saying that's.
Mall
No. You know what side I'm on. I stand on big business. But I'm just saying, I don't know, because at the same time, if a girl was. If she used to be a dancer, a stripper, I don't know if I would be like, too, like, helping, like. Nah, I could never. You know what I'm saying? So it's just. I just think that. I think if you fucking on camera and putting that shit in the eye, I can't. Nah, I'm sorry. I can't look past that.
Damaris
That's the only one.
Rory
But then if you're currently doing that, like, you're gonna keep fucking on camera if we're dating.
Mall
That's.
Damaris
That's my job. So throw my money away from you. I am a riot. A scientist.
Rory
Well, then that would probably be a deal breaker for little old me if you're someone on camera while we're dating. I'm sorry. Not that secure. I know that makes me a beta male.
Damaris
A beta man.
Mall
Sorry for being a beta male. I know what it's asking.
Rory
I don't want my girl flipping another man.
Mall
We just asking for a woman not to be on camera.
Rory
Like, no judgment. Like, I would have never. And this is all hypothetical, because obviously in a different place now, I would have no issue dating a stripper that just stripped, like, wasn't also an escort. The hours is what would kill me.
Mall
The hours. Shut up, man.
Damaris
Seriously, dating no stripper.
Rory
First of all, I've dated chicks that have done bottle girl shit, bartender shit. What killed us was the hours.
Mall
Yeah.
Rory
We live literally different lives. I'm awake when the sun is up, you're awake when the sun is down.
Mall
Yeah.
Rory
We. We cannot date, so you're laughing at my hours, but yeah.
Mall
Would you date a guy that is on only fans fucking?
Damaris
No.
Mall
All right. If he's not fucking, say no. So he's just jerking off and on.
Damaris
No.
Mall
Why?
Rory
What if he's not Gucci third leg?
Damaris
No.
Rory
What if he is Gucci third leg?
Damaris
No.
Mall
Why?
Damaris
Just not. I don't like men on camera, period. Whether they fucking podcasting, acting, just any.
Rory
Man on the camera, I don't like. Like, the old boy she was going crazy for.
Mall
Dimson when he was fucking. Had the Franklin Saint Afro when we.
Rory
Was around a bunch of the Seattle Mariners hats.
Mall
Yeah, you was all googly opportunities.
Damaris
You see who I was with? You see who I was looking for? The nigga in the corner that was quiet. You see who I was up next to?
Mall
Dempson.
Damaris
No, not Demson. You was on the phone with.
Mall
Oh, the nigga I was just on the phone with. That's.
Rory
Cause you were scared, and that was security.
Damaris
Like, I was like. You know what I'm saying?
Rory
That's what we checked in with.
Mall
I wasn't with Dibson. I was with the. He was just on the phone.
Damaris
Like, I wasn't.
Rory
I was with the gentleman you assigned me to.
Mall
Oh, my God.
Damaris
Yeah, I don't. I don't. I don't. I don't like men that draw a lot of attention. But I've told y'all that before, because I draw a lot of attention. We can't both just draw a lot of attention.
Mall
I don't draw a lot of attention. Get your.
Damaris
I do. Look at me.
Mall
Look at me.
Rory
I like it.
Damaris
But, yeah, I just. I don't know. I like men who kind of, like, stay out the limelight, so I don't.
Rory
Think there's any shit just like, about these.
Mall
Them ain't shit. Just like us. I just want to let you know.
Damaris
No, definitely. Definitely not. But it's just less cringe words, actually.
Rory
Easier for them to hide their.
Mall
Yeah, they get it off.
Damaris
Yeah, but you ain't. They ain't on here embarrassing me.
Mall
Okay. Nah, niggas. Off camera.
Damaris
Embarrassing, yes, but not as much more.
Mall
Yeah, he ain't got to lose.
Damaris
Y'all ain't learned from Cam Newton.
Rory
What was. What was Tyrese's name in Baby Boy Jody. Jody was the most embarrassing man walking around South Central. That girl was completely embarrassed. He was fucking with her, co workers, everything.
Mall
Don't do that.
Rory
Jody was not there.
Mall
Don't do that. He was not fucking with her coworkers.
Damaris
He went to her house. He was fucking with her.
Mall
He went there because she's a customer, and he was trying to sell. He was trying to move product. She was a client. She was a client. He used to sell her, like, dresses and shit. He thought he was going over there to make some money.
Damaris
I would have fucked that girl. Y'all seen her.
Rory
What's she up to now? Yo, what's her real name, man?
Damaris
Facts, like.
Rory
But my point is that somebody, a regular guy in the hood, can embarrass you just as much in your community as somebody that's famous.
Mall
But we don't talk about what Yvette was doing. She had a whole. That just came home in the crib with her son while she was at work.
Damaris
Well, to be fair, he was. Her and Jody were broken up at the time.
Mall
That's. That makes it fair. This nigga just came home, he's a fucking convicted criminal, and you got him babysitting my son. What?
Rory
No. It was insane.
Damaris
Yeah, she was wild.
Mall
She was all the way crazy for that.
Damaris
But she was also afraid of him, too, though. Like, she was. She was afraid of him.
Rory
You have to add that factor.
Damaris
She was terrified.
Rory
He showed up with his homeboy and said, yo, I live here now.
Mall
Nah, but that's what. Oh, no. She left it. She left it. She left the door open. She had the call and didn't put a block on the phone. All of that. I want to block out my phone.
Rory
Yvette, because she was terrified, and look what happened to her. Yeah, she was fudgeing terrified.
Damaris
You going to rape me?
Rory
Snoop was a good human being in that movie, a really nasty guy. But, I mean, you know, Jody was nice because he said, I'm not going to fudge you.
Mall
You ever had that problem dating a guy that you were scared of and couldn't get rid of him.
Damaris
I had. I wasn't afraid of him. I was afraid of what he would do to himself and other people. I was afraid to date publicly because he was wild and the person I was dating was wild. So it was just like I was trying to avoid any type of, you know, crash out about their feelings, bro. And I just was like, I can't with the crash out, but you're not gonna make me uncomfortable. So there was a time where I was a little scared. Not scared, but, you know, I was just very wary. But like, it got to the point where I was like, if you show out like this, I will put you in jail. I'm not. I work too hard when it comes to my house, when it comes to my happiness, you're not going to scare me out my shit.
Rory
So that's noble because a lot of girls will put two men against each other.
Damaris
No, I hate. No, no.
Rory
That's way more common than you think it is.
Damaris
Yeah, I know.
Rory
Especially when they're dating two men that they know will crash out and harm each other over you.
Damaris
So no, my. I'm not so insecure that I need to see men fight and kill each other over me to feel like I have value. I know I have value. They know I have value. So no, I like being able to look myself in the mirror.
Rory
He was like Michael Jackson and just put the gun.
Mall
Pulled the stick out, pulled that stick out. The marriage was like right there. Like, no, no, nah.
Damaris
I don't. Yeah, I don't play that. I don't. I didn't come from that type of. That type of household that start doing that crazy gun shit. All that. I am calling the cops. I don't do that toxic shit. I like peace. Like fake toxicity. You want to call my phone 50 times? Sure, whatever. But I can. As long as I can block you popping up at my house doing all that extra shit. I don't play that shit.
Mall
Yeah, I police too.
Damaris
Yeah, I caught a folk. I caught him folk. Ma. You ever had a girl crash out over you pop up at your house, refuse to leave?
Mall
Not pop up and refuse to leave. But definitely was waiting like in the parking area in front of the building. But we had a conversation. But it wasn't like yelling, cursing, fighting, like she. I just wasn't speaking to her and she knew that she was never going to speak to me again because she know how I am. Once I cut you off, that's it. So she just wanted to talk, like looking for Closure, I guess. But she wanted to, like, look me in my face, have a conversation. But she left. Like, she didn't. I didn't have to, like, force her to leave.
Damaris
Oh, she left. Oh, yeah.
Mall
That's one thing about me, like, all of my relationships with women, when they. It's over. It's definitely. It's definitely.
Rory
Most women stay until y'all are back together.
Damaris
Oh, yeah, I wasn't. No. When I've done my pop ups, I'm not leaving.
Mall
Yeah, no, it's different with me. I don't play that. That's one thing I never did. We're not going. We listen. It's over. Still love and respect here. Let's keep it that way. But, you know, it's time for you to leave.
Damaris
I ain't leaving.
Mall
All right, well, you.
Damaris
You gonna have to call them folk. I mean, I'm not, I'm. I'm not leaving.
Rory
I don't know. And civilian, I'm not even trying to stand on some. I don't know if I could ever call the cops on a woman. I've never been in a situation where I really needed to. So let me not say that, like, if a chick is about trying to burn my house down, I'm a thousand percent using my tax dollars and calling the police. Yeah, but it would take a lot for me to call the police on a woman.
Mall
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Rory
It would take a lot.
Mall
Thankfully, it's never going there. I mean, I'm. I'm at the age now where I don't think it ever will go there.
Rory
Even if there was like some knife play. I think I'd probably just try to.
Mall
Figure it out because I feel like that's young girl. I feel like a grown woman, like the type of woman I like. They not doing no like that.
Rory
No, they working.
Mall
Maybe if we have kids and it's a deeper, you know, connection and definitely.
Rory
Not do that with kids.
Mall
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I think. But I think it gets a little deeper emotionally when there's kids involved. You know what I'm saying? But being that I don't have that ish, like I don't have kids, it was like either. It was just like, okay, relationship ran its course. It doesn't have to turn into something nasty and, you know, violent and loud. Like, you did what you did. Cool. I'm not willing to put up with that. Understandable. Let's go our separate ways. That's all.
Damaris
I feel like that's fair. Rory, would you call the cops if she took all the. All the windows out that Audi?
Rory
No.
Mall
If she broke your windows, you wouldn't call the police?
Rory
No.
Damaris
Them. Jerk.
Rory
What am I calling the cops for?
Mall
I think sometimes you got to let women see the inside of, like, central booking just so they know, like. All right, now remember your ass. Who used the peanut butter sandwich as a pillow for three days. You go, I see you right back. I see your ass right back. Don't touch my car. I see you right back to that peanut butter pillow.
Rory
I mean, maybe I'd look into what a restraining order would look like, and then from there, maybe cops would have to get involved if you keep showing up to my house. But, yeah, no, and I'm not encouraging anyone to break my windows with no consequence. But I'm not calling the. Like, I'm gonna have two officers in Jersey City or New York City where they should be doing way more important things. Come and take notes about my window.
Mall
Yeah, you pay enough in taxes.
Rory
Well, what are they going to do? From what I hear, and for what? I'm going to call my insurance company. Yo, somebody broke my windows. If they need a police report, I would say, hey, somebody, I parked my car here and someone broke the windows, so get my windows fixed. And then move forward with what I would do there. A lot of it would take violence or fire for me to, like.
Damaris
Fire?
Rory
If you're gonna burn my house down the year I'm calling the cops, a.
Damaris
Lot of men will call the cops on women to prevent themselves from facts.
Rory
No, I get that. I'm saying I haven't been in a situation where I felt like I needed to call the cops because I was being attacked. Like, yeah, like that. Yeah, I've definitely had a woman hit me before. Things that. That were not appropriate on her behalf, but not to the point where I would call the police like that.
Mall
Yeah, I'm grateful. I never had that. I lived in the building, like I said, my neighbors. He used to be kicking his girlfriend ass every. Every Thursday. It was like clockwork. That was like.
Rory
Well, see, but to me, see, that's. That's where I believe in, like, double standards. Unfortunately, I guess. Yes. If a man is beating up a woman, the cops need to be called. I've had a woman hit me. Nowhere in my head did I think, I need to call the police and report this.
Mall
That is so crazy. When I hear God say that they had a girl hit them. That is so foreign to me. I don't even think I now mentally in her mind, she may have been close to hitting me, but, like.
Damaris
Well, I know a bitch done really thought about knocking you upside you're noggin a couple times right there, but it never.
Mall
But it never happened, though. It's like, okay, but I never. Like, to me, that's just so crazy. Like, yo, you really got into a.
Rory
Physical fight with your girl? No, not. No. A physical fight would require two people. No, I've been hit by a woman.
Mall
No, no, but that's what I'm saying. Physical. It got like. It was. Y'all was arguing, and then the fight happened. You didn't put hands on her, but her putting hands on you, to me, is still crazy. Like, how does it get to that?
Rory
Absolutely crazy. But. But to me, I just like somebody's situation. I don't really know what, like, a cop would do.
Mall
If your girl hit you, she getting arrested if you call the police. I'm not doing that. Yeah, she going. She get in jail. You.
Damaris
You think?
Mall
Wait, you think don't kill niggas?
Rory
Yeah.
Mall
Oh, okay.
Rory
And I'm not saying. Let's not even say a girlfriend. Like, that's in hypothetical. We're talking right now. I'd still. Like if a woman that I was just fudgeing, like, ended up doing that, I'd be like, yo, get out of my house. And if she left, what. What am I calling cops for? Like, what are the police gonna do in this situation if she hit you?
Mall
Like, put hands on you?
Rory
Yeah.
Mall
I mean, it depends on what's hands, though. Like, if she know how to throw the.
Damaris
Like, if she.
Mall
If she hit you one time and buckle you, like, your knee almost give out. You gotta call the police on that.
Rory
No, I think she know how to fight. No, my ego.
Mall
I'm not calling her.
Rory
My ego would be double if my knee buckled off. Off the jab. And then I called the cops. Like, that's a double blow.
Mall
Like, what if you argue with your girl, she punch you in your shit, but then she jumped back and get us to like, bitch ass nigga. But she buckle you and your shit leaking. You taste blood in your mouth.
Rory
Definitely.
Mall
Can't you taste blood in your mouth? All kind of shit. And she's sitting there bouncing like Ali right in front of you. Like, bro, she know how to fight.
Rory
That's that then that's the route where I go, you need Jesus, yo, getting.
Mall
Punched in your shit. And yes, you start ringing and it's a girl standing in front of you, Bro, you got a decision to make. It's either. Aight, I'm gonna have to go against my morals and my integrity and put hands on a woman, or I gotta call the police on her. Because some girls could fight, man. They got brothers, they grew up like that.
Damaris
You gotta leave the house. Maybe you should just leave the house.
Mall
My house. Not leaving my fucking. Yo, I'm gonna get punched in my face and leave my house. Nah, we not doing all that fully.
Rory
On the side of men protecting themselves. Because I've definitely seen situations and we know this. I'm talking about Rock is an advocate of not placing hands on women. I've seen videos where I've seen a woman rocking some dude shit. And I'm like, if I was him, I probably would have swung back like, this is not. This is a fair fight, but this is a fade.
Mall
If she know how to fight, I'm.
Rory
Not like, if I get popped in my nose and she doesn't have any, like, follow up combos.
Damaris
I'm sorry.
Mall
See, he wait. He waiting for the follow up. The follow up gonna have police standing up as soon as you wake up. You gonna hear walkie talkie look like, yo, what happened? You going to hear walkie talkie and she going to be in the back of the cop car like ass. I'm not waiting for no followup. It take one time for me to taste my blood in my mouth and to see a girl really in her stance to. For me to know, like, she know how to fight. The follow up put you to sleep. You can't wait for the followup. You crazy.
Rory
No, my guard will be down, cuz I would never, never respond. And I would just sit there and say, you need Jesus. And then I would scurry back to.
Mall
My room and lock the door, man, not me. Y'all better come get this. I'm about to kill her. Like, come get this.
Rory
Now I'm double standing.
Damaris
That's when you get on the phone crying like, ma, swear to God, come get this.
Mall
Call her, her brother, her pop. Somebody like, yo, come get her. Yo, she just rocked my shit.
Rory
I think there's other routes than like, calling them.
Mall
Yeah, somebody better come get her. But I ain't about to run in the room and close the door. Fuck out, yo, get out my house. My shit bleeding. And I'm talking about, I'm in a room trying to. Like, I'm leaning against the door so you don't get in.
Damaris
Get the fuck out of you on the door like.
Rory
Like ebony, I want to protect myself. Pardon the climate that we're in. Now, I don't think straight men are under attack, but if you call the police off a dispense domestic dispute, I'm the one that's probably going to get in trouble even if I didn't do a fucking thing.
Damaris
Yep.
Rory
So, no, I'm not calling the cops. I'm not inviting the cops over to arrest me when I didn't do anything.
Mall
Nah, see, you got it wrong. You're a white man and you date black women. They gonna lock her black ass.
Damaris
Oh, yeah, for sure.
Mall
They not locking.
Rory
Okay. You have a solid plan.
Mall
Yeah, they not. And if you're telling me from South Africa, you just moved here, they really not. They're not locking you up.
Damaris
Why does south.
Mall
Because, you know, he could be from South Africa. If he says he's from Jersey, they might, you know, or he says he's from Queens, I'm like, get your ass in the car, too.
Rory
I do have the, like, those cop car things that we got at the meet and greet. Like, once I flash those, she's definitely going to jail.
Damaris
Oh, wanted to get out of. Get out of.
Mall
Yeah.
Rory
What?
Damaris
Those work. Those work.
Rory
I don't even know if I want to reveal on a podcast of, like, how much those work. I don't want to. What is the blue code? True blue brothers in blue stand in arms. What is their stuff? What is their omerta 60s say after they. The girls brothers in blue mall. That was hilarious.
Mall
That's what the Crips after they. On the set, they stand around the bed in a circle.
Rory
What's their omerta?
Damaris
I don't.
Rory
It's a name.
Mall
All right.
Rory
Either way, I don't wanna. Yeah, whatever. I don't want to break. I just want to let you know those family cards work. They work no matter what the.
Mall
So you gotta hand the cop when he pull you over, you gotta hand them that car.
Damaris
Show it. They'd be like, you have a great day.
Mall
And you gotta say the thing. You got to say what they say. Like, what is it?
Rory
No, you don't got to say a word. You hand in that card, and anything you did is fine.
Mall
I don't know if I'm trying to find out I'm black. See my different. I hand them. They call. They like, yeah, license regist. And I smell.
Rory
Call the number on it. Yo, you really know more.
Mall
Yeah, yeah. Then he be like, I smell weed. Step out the car. Like, it turned into all that with me. Like, all right, man, it that car door.
Damaris
I asked y'all because I recently Asked ex of Miami and him were having a conversation, and I asked him if he ever thought about calling the cops on me because I showed up at his house with. I've showed at his house meaning no. No peace to him.
Mall
You show up a lot.
Damaris
And I asked, look at the way she worded that.
Rory
I showed up to his house meaning no peace.
Damaris
Yeah, no, I came. I came with a bat.
Rory
You should be a politician.
Damaris
I was ready to tear the motherfucking windows out that BMW.
Mall
Why?
Damaris
I was ready to. Because he deserved it, that's why.
Mall
What's. What's him deserving it? I like to hear what people like when you say him deserving.
Damaris
Him deserving is him gaslighting me. Gaslighting me to the fullest extent.
Mall
Oh, so y'all gaslighting each other. You just had a bigger bottle of lighter fluid.
Damaris
Anyway, he knew he deserved it, so. Because when I asked him, he said, no, I wouldn't have did that. He said, if you would have up more than like. Because I told him, I was like, if I up your cars would. He'd be mad. He said, if you'd have up more than four of them, then probably.
Mall
But like, four cars.
Damaris
He has a.
Rory
See, you fell into the gaslight even more. He probably has the highest GEICO insurance did not give a. Led you down the breadcrumb trail of something that was so easy to fix when you crash out. Yeah, go break my windows if that's what you're gonna do.
Damaris
Yeah, but I just asked him. I was like, you know, when I was gonna.
Rory
You left the Xbox and PlayStation alone.
Damaris
I'm sure he doesn't have one. But I was like, when I was gonna bust out your windows, like, were you gonna call the cops on me? He was like, I would have never called the cops. I'm not gonna do that. He said, if you would have up all my cars, then, yeah, but just like, one or two of them. I was. I was gonna call the cops, right?
Mall
These be trying to have. I'm guess I'm calling the police. I talked to my accountant often. I know how much I pay in taxes. Somebody come get this.
Damaris
That was. I was young, I was a lot.
Mall
Younger, and you from a small town. They ain't doing up there. Come get her.
Damaris
No, that was. This was Brooklyn.
Mall
Oh, so definitely come get her. She might be a Woo. Come get her.
Rory
Wait, how many cars he had in Brooklyn? Forget how many cars. How many parking spots he had? Oh, having multiple cars in Brooklyn is crazy.
Mall
See, now he trying to get into his Finances.
Rory
Yeah. You see?
Mall
Yeah, he gotta move forward.
Rory
No, I'm not getting into his finances. I'm trying to get into his time management. To move that amount of cars on the block.
Mall
He a genius. Like, how you doing that?
Rory
It could be four hyundais from 1994. I don't care about his finances. How do you move that many cars?
Mall
I want to see him every Tuesday or Thursday morning. All right. Like, how you doing this, sir? Let me see. How you doing? Put those two over there. Hold those spots. Then bring those two back over here. Hold these spots. Like, that's how he doing it.
Rory
But why bust the window?
Damaris
Driveways and stuff.
Rory
I feel like a. A cop. Wouldn't a cop give you a ticket because you didn't move your car after all four windows was busted out? Would be nuts. They'll give you a mess.
Damaris
They don't give a fuck, you know, New York don't give a fuck. They can still give you the ticket, man. They gonna put that. They can't put it in the windshield. They're put it right on the driver's.
Mall
If the windows is busted out, they're gonna leave that shit right on your seat.
Damaris
Yep.
Mall
With the glass like. Yeah, pay that shit. Go fuck.
Damaris
And you might get in trouble for the glass still being on the ground.
Mall
Yeah. That's littering.
Damaris
Dumb shit.
Mall
Yeah.
Rory
Imagine them putting a boot on your car and you have all your windows busted up.
Mall
They will. I've seen it. New York don't give a fuck.
Rory
You know that the amount of times I've went to Brooklyn Navy Yard to get my fucking car. I want to talk about it. Do we have voicemails?
Damaris
Yeah, I was going to actually want to hear a voicemail.
Mall
You've got mail.
D
Hey, guys. My name's Ben. I'm from Toronto. I was at the show recently and had a great time. So thanks for making the trip.
Rory
Thanks for coming.
D
My question is about. About how to weigh looks versus personality slash character when it comes to dating.
Rory
Okay.
D
I've been seeing this girl for two months now. I'm 25, she's 26. We've gone on a bunch of dates and slept together the past few times. I'm at the point where I have to decide if I want to make it official. And I'm not sure I like everything about her, except she's not as attractive as I'd like, especially compared to other girls I've been with recently. However, those girls didn't have the personality slash character that she has. I haven't been in a Serious relationship for about six years and I'm ready for one now, but I can't decide if she's the one I want to commit to. Would love to know what you think.
Rory
Ben sounds like such a nice guy, but he's a sick fuck at his core.
Mall
He's honest.
Rory
I appreciate his honesty. I. I guess I would ask, like, when she's not as attractive. What do you mean by that?
Mall
What do you mean by that?
Rory
He's been fucking her, but, you know, we've all, I guess, someone we didn't find attractive. But he keeps going back and he seems like he likes her. How unattractive are we talking?
Damaris
But he didn't say unattractive though. He says she's not as attractive as women he's dated in the past.
Mall
That's a real thing you get with a person and you like, cool personality, get along great, have a lot of fun. But then it'd be them certain days, you just see them walking around the crib. You like this whack. For real.
Rory
Listen, man, some of the.
Mall
My bad. All right? My bad.
Rory
Some of the most quote unquote bad bitches, like what the world would deem the bad bitch in my history were some of the most annoying women I've ever been around in my entire life. Like, I would kill myself if I ever actually dated them.
Mall
Yeah.
Rory
So yeah, find the one that you find attract. Because I do think being sexually attracted to someone matters a lot. Of course, that is still number one when it comes to a long standing relationship. Like, I know people have that romantic thing like, oh, it doesn't matter. No, it matters. You want to keep forever. Yeah. You need to be sexually attracted to them. So if you are sexually attracted to her and she's super cool and you actually like being around her, then that's somebody you settle down with. Not the bad, the quote unquote bad bitch. That's annoying as fuck that you just enjoy fudgeing and then can't stand when you actually have to have breakfast.
Mall
Yeah, I mean, I think it's tough because you, again, like you said, you want to be physically attracted to somebody that prevents a lot of other things from happening. Your attention being pulled to another direction of a woman that you think is more attractive. Whatever, whatever. It's hard to find that balance of everything you want aesthetically, physically, and still, you know, personality and, you know, character, the person. You just gotta figure out where you at in your life and which sliders you're willing to slide down a little bit on the attributes.
Rory
Yeah.
Mall
I mean certain side, you can't always be able to shoot the three. It's like, all right, she could post up a little bit like, you know what I'm saying? She good on defense. You can't always get an MVP player, but you get a solid, solid veteran. Yeah, yeah, good, good locker room person, you know, easy to coach. You got to start looking at those things.
Rory
Sometimes you have to draft Bronnie55 just to keep the organization happy.
Mall
Just to keep the king happy. Yeah, you know how I go.
Rory
Not the best draft pick but it's going to keep this franchise moving.
Mall
It ain't like we passed up. We did not draft the fucking league mvp. Like I'm saying, it's like we didn't draft Bronnie to get the to to miss out on the league mvp.
Damaris
So, so if you had to do, if you had to do percentage wise, right. Looks versus personality. What makes up the hundred percent?
Rory
Is 50, 50 such a cop out answer? Because I think they're important because you, if you just focus just on personality then you have a best friend and that's it.
Mall
That's the best though.
Rory
If you have.
Mall
That's the homie.
Rory
No, but he's talking about settling down and like maybe a possible relationship.
Mall
Yeah, but that's not going to start. It should start as we're friends.
Rory
Cool.
Mall
We like each other as you know, away from romantically. Shorty's cool, she's funny, we get along. We laugh every time we hang out with each other. It's great. And she looks good, she's attractive.
Rory
I love the movie Brown Sugar as well. But not every chick is Sanaya Lathan. Not Every chick likes KRS1 and looks like Saniya Lathan. Doesn't always work that way. Sometimes the chicks you get along with you're not that you're attracted to but not in a long term way. Oh, they're definitely out there.
Mall
The pretty cool chicks is out there man.
Rory
For sure. But we're going with Ben's situation.
Mall
They they taking and they spend the time with a. But they out there.
Damaris
We right here baby.
Mall
Hey out there.
Rory
Who you spending time with?
Damaris
I'm not. Oh no, no, no, no I'm not. No no, no, no no. I was co signing the pretty cool chicks not to spend the time with part.
Mall
Yeah they, they out there. It's just there's not. Not many of them but they out there.
Rory
No there's. There's a good amount and nothing is.
Mall
Worse than when you got a girl and you know you kind of Compromising looks, and then you go hang out and you meet a bad. That's cool. You like, I gave this a pair of keys already. God damn. I'm gonna get them keys back. Because it's easy once you get them keys back.
Rory
It's crazy.
Mall
Yeah, because it's easy. Once a girl ain't got your keys, see me, you got to have a code to get it. Like, my doors are automatic. You gotta have, like, the. I gotta send you a key to your phone. I could easily just not send a chicken key no more. You know what I'm saying?
Rory
Like, oh, you could just take away her key. Like, erasing the message type of thing.
Mall
No, it's an app.
Rory
Okay, that's pretty cool.
Mall
But if only. If I send you a key, like, guest that is coming to my house, if I'm not there, I could send them a key on the app, and they just scan their phone on my door.
Rory
Okay, see, that's easy.
Mall
Now that's, like. It ain't physical. I could easily just block your key. Like, nah, that's no longer accessible. Like.
Rory
But let's tie it back to Ben's situation. I agree with you, though. A lot of men have been in that situation where they think they found the one. All right, cool. This. This will work. Let me take this serious. And then they meet a chick that they probably find more attractive. That's cooler. Even though it's new and you don't really know her yet. We're men. There's also the man that has the hope that he's gonna find that and ignores all the women that could have been his soulmate and dies lonely because all he's thinking is, I haven't met that one yet. Now, maybe you should take the risk and settle down with this girl. She's cool. You're attracted to her. It works. Maybe you should see this out, because I think there's plenty of men that get to that and go, no, I don't know. Maybe there's another one out there. And then they die at 70 years old, lonely as fuck.
Mall
Yeah, but it's. It's nothing worse than when you compromise. Like, all right, she's not the cutest. I'm not as attracted to her as some of the other women I dated. And then she still end up doing some to you, like, with another you, like, wait, hold up. I. You ain't even small. I'm just saying. Let's just be real, because you've done it. You've done it with some dudes, Baby D. Where he ain't the most handsome you've ever dated. And then this try to play you like, like you didn't pull some of your attributes down.
Damaris
It's always with the. That ain't like I, I, that ain't had that much money that I was nice to. And like I really gave you a chance even though you had that much money.
Mall
Say one of his attributes and he had no money.
Damaris
Come if you, you really try to.
Mall
And you still out here.
Rory
See, this room is so fogged up with ego. It is unbelievable.
Mall
It's not about ego. It's when you know, like, yo, you.
Rory
Cannot lower yourself to date someone. If you go and date somebody, you are at their level. You're not lowering yourself.
Mall
I'm not saying you are now an equal.
Rory
If you guys are in a monogamous relationship, we are at this level.
Mall
You missing what I'm saying? I'm not saying low lowering yourself. I'm saying when you know that, all right, I'm not as attracted to this girl as some of the other women I've dated. Cool. But I like her.
Rory
Cool.
Mall
Move forward, have a relationship. But then she start moving around on you. Funny. Fucking with other dudes. And it's like, wait, hold that's.
Rory
I mean that's such a drastic variable that we're adding into that every relationship.
Damaris
That somebody scared of getting cheated on, you know, my.
Mall
No, it's not about being scared of getting cheated on.
Rory
Why did you immediately go to cheat starts with somebody else.
Mall
Like, because that's how, why most relationships usually don't work. Somebody's probably cheating.
Rory
I don't know if that's totally true.
Mall
What is it? Can't. Finances.
Rory
I think. Finances, yeah. But incompatible. I think there's plenty of relationships where people cheat on each other and they stay together.
Mall
Yeah, it is.
Rory
And it's plenty of relationships higher than probably cheaters that break up.
Mall
There's plenty of relationships where financially they struggling and they stay together as well too. It's cheaper to keep her.
Rory
I mean, I guess if you're dead. If you're dead broke, it's not cheaper to keep.
Damaris
Relationships usually break up because of lack.
Rory
Of compatibility and communication and people checking out like compatibility.
Mall
Compatibility could be compatibility. Compatibility.
Rory
It's a tough word.
Mall
Yeah. Compatibility can also be physically.
Rory
Yeah, but that's why I'm saying you shouldn't even go into a relationship. That's why I answer a question. It's 50. 50. Because if you're going in thinking this is going to be long term, you need to be Just as attracted to that person as you are attracted to their personality. Both go hand in hand. I'm not on the side of that romantic shit where it's just the personality. If you don't want to keep fucking that person, there's going to be some problems.
Mall
That's a fact. But you also have to factor in that people are attracted to different things. It may not just be physical. Some people be like, all right, cool, she's not physically the baddest, but yo, she's cool as fuck. She's a good person. If you have kids and she don't, yo, she's great with my kids. You know what I'm saying?
Rory
It's like, get a nanny.
Mall
I mean, we might not be there financially, but, you know, I'm just saying, like, you know that some person is a good person. You'll compromise on other areas. But it is fucked up when you compromise on other areas and that person still end up doing some fuck shit to you. You like, damn, I really compromised a lot of things that are my standards or my. Just to have this relationship with you. And you. Like, I still got did dirty.
Damaris
But I'm not beholden to you. I'm not beholden to you. And I don't owe you something because you feel like you took a chance on me because you don't think that I am. Oh, you know this.
Mall
As my partner, you owe me. Oh, yeah, of course.
Damaris
But it can't be like, it's not for you to take out on me. Like, damn, like, you made him. How dare you make a mistake. And you ain't even like that. For real, you a cool six. Like, oh, that happens.
Mall
Do we not go?
Damaris
It does happen, but it shouldn't.
Mall
It's. Yeah, but it's a lot of that happens. That shouldn't. How much time we got? Because we start. We can start running off a list. There's a lot of that happens.
Rory
What's that movie? I'll show you the most attractive women. I'll show you a man that's tired of them. Like, what you guys are talking about has absolutely nothing to do with real life.
Mall
Yes, it does.
Rory
I could be. I could be a 4 dating a 10. If I'm unhappy, I'm gonna cheat on that 10.
Damaris
Yeah.
Rory
Like, it has nothing to do with. Just because you are so attractive.
Mall
And she has a right to be.
Rory
Like someone that's quote unquote ugly or other or less financial.
Mall
And then she has the right to be like, this four ass nigga gonna go out here and Cheat. She has that right.
Rory
Yeah, you made me miserable.
Mall
Yeah, she's a dime. And you cheat on her. She has everything. Like, yo, first of all, you not even the most attractive dude I ever been with. You ain't got the most money. We ain't gonna even get to the bedroom part. Oh, they throw that in there.
Rory
Well, also, there's a lot of bad bitches that just are not good at sex, but that's another topic.
Mall
Yeah, I mean, the uglies, they get to it.
Rory
The uglies the ugliest. Why do we have to call them that?
Mall
I'm just saying, the uglies, they go head first. They don't. They. They get right to it. You like, this is physical volume shooters.
Rory
Hit more shots.
Mall
That's a fact. The uglies. The uglies ain't scared to get their hands dirty. That's why you got to deal with the uglies. When you find a pretty that, like, she ugly O.
Rory
That's why you have to find the women that were ugly and then they became pretty. They don't even know.
Mall
Exactly. We've had side on the inside. She's still ugly. She just got some work.
Rory
She's still trying to prove herself.
Mall
But, oh, the pretty girls that like. It's like, what tribe are you from? Because you too pretty to be doing this.
Rory
But let's flip it back. In a beta male. There's a bunch of men that were super lames until they got money. And I talked to some of my home girls, and the same way we're talking about the girls that were ugly growing up and were never treated. Now they're bad because they got surgery. Whatever. They still act like that. I know a bunch of men that get money and are still as lame as they were.
Mall
Money don't unlame you. Money don't unlame you. That's a.
Damaris
If a girl.
Mall
If a girl with a dude because he got money and he's lame, she knows he's lame already. She just there to get a bag.
Rory
And I'm saying, Ben shouldn't walk into this relationship thinking that because she's lower than him, she's gonna over him, and then he's gonna be mad like, I took a chance on you. You're a four.
Damaris
Ben. If she has. But he. I don't think that she's a four. You know what I. What I think this is? He's saying she's not as. As attractive as other women that he's dated, but he was attractive, attracted enough to ask her out.
Mall
Yeah.
Damaris
To take her serious enough to really like her. And he slept with her a couple times. Like. And you're calling for advice. You like this girl. You're attracted enough that you like having sex with her and you like her personality. I say take it all the way.
Rory
He's trying to convince himself he knows the answer. Him calling in is him trying to convince himself.
Mall
Yeah, I think he don't want to be with her.
Rory
No, I think the opposite. I think he wants to be with her.
Damaris
I think he want to be where. I think he worried about what his friends might say.
Rory
I think he likes her a lot.
Mall
I mean, but what your friends might say is. It is a real concern.
Damaris
You 48?
Mall
Not to me. I'm just saying that's a real concern. I don't give a What nobody think. Clearly, y'all know I give it up.
Damaris
I don't understand. Like, he says he's 25 or 26. They're 20. Both of them are 25 and 26. So.
Mall
Yeah, but it's just a real thing, though. You gotta. You are concerned that you do want your friends to like your girl or like your boyfriend, like, and be like, cool and like, blah, blah, blah.
Damaris
No, it ain't about. It ain't about cool because he already said she's super cool. He want them to find her attractive.
Mall
Yeah, and. And women want that too. Women want to not.
Damaris
None of this is a woman thing. Let me tell you from real woman shit. We don't think none of our friends. Men be fine. None of our friends. They all ugly to us. We'd be like, friend. Like, I don't know what you see in him. None of my friends think. No man I've dated the past 20 years is fine.
Rory
Okay, but is that based off what you think you should say?
Damaris
No real. I'll be like. Even before I even date a man, I'd be like, hey, he's so cute. I'd be like, girl. No, like, it's just. It's just like that. There's some. Where they were like, oh, yeah, he might have been cute. But, like, the ones that I was really in love with, they'd be like, I don't know what the fudge you saw in him. That's. It's more like that with women. But we don't care if I. If I think that man, fine, I'm going to be with him. Like, that's how women are men. It's like, y'all aren't like that. Y'all. Y'all Care.
Rory
All right, maybe back to being naive. I don't. I can never remember at any point in my life that any of my friends, like, judged another friend for a girl they took serious. Yeah, we were still immature. And like, if you brought, like, some wild looking chick back one night just to. We're gonna clown you the next day. Yeah, but like, their girl. No, I never.
Mall
But even if you're. If, like, I don't think any of.
Rory
My friends have thought, I wonder what my friends are going to think about how my girlfriend looks. But before they may think, yo, what you think about her as a person? Yes.
Mall
Nah, man. Why y'all not keeping it real in here?
Rory
No, I am.
Mall
You all bring your girl around, and if your girl. If she bad, the homie gonna be like, yo, where her friends at? Well, her sister's like, that's happened. We're not doing that. We're not gonna act like you never bought a girl around the homies.
Rory
I didn't bring them around for my friends to ask me where her.
Mall
I'm not saying you brought her around for that. But you, like, you knew when you brought her around, the homies was gonna be jacking her. Like, yo, she's back.
Damaris
You like the yo nef that's you.
Mall
You know that. Like, what are we talking about in here? You know, that's the thing.
Rory
No, you definitely dated a girl, and.
Mall
Then first, the first time you was about to bring her around the friends event, like, yo, we watching the game at the homies house tonight. You knew when you walked in with that bad bitch, the homies was gonna text you like, yo, okay, like, she's bad where her.
Rory
That could happen, but it was never like a. I would have brought her anyways.
Mall
Like, I'm not sitting. He missing what I'm saying. I'm not saying.
Damaris
Rory also don't date ugly bitches.
Mall
I'm not saying you wouldn't have brought her if she wasn't cute. I'm saying that when she is bad.
Rory
You know the homies yo sitting. Like, yo, I can't bring you around. Cause you're not kidding.
Mall
That's what I'm saying. Like, that's crazy. I know you wouldn't do that. But you know when your girl is bad and she knows she. She put that shit on, she know she look good. You know, the first time you bring her around the set, the homies is gonna be jacking her.
Rory
Yeah, but that's because I like her. Just because my friends may happen to find her attractive, too, isn't why I'm dating a girl I didn't know.
Mall
Of course that's not why you're dating. I'm just saying, you know, internally, when your girl is bad, you know that when she step out, when y'all step out together, like, she's gonna turn heads, people gonna compliment her. The homies gonna see you like, yo, you got a good one, homie. Like, don't fuck that up. Like, she nice and she cool. You don't, your homies will be on your head. Like, nigga, don't do no dumb shit. Cause we seen some of them hood boogers you bought through here before. She the baddest one. You. She the baddest one, brought some hood boogers. That's what I'm saying. She the baddest one you brought to the set. Like, don't fuck that up.
Rory
And I'm saying in that whole entire experience, if I thought maybe my friends wouldn't find her attractive, I wouldn't give a fuck. I would want their opinion on if I'm dating this woman. Like, what do you think about her? If I'm looking at some long term.
Mall
She look good, she's cool. Don't fuck it up, Rory.
Damaris
Don't be giving a fuck about our opinions.
Rory
That's true.
Damaris
Like, some. Oh, I would want to know if we think she cool. No, you don't.
Mall
But I don't either. But you just know in your mind, you know when you dating a bad chick. You know when you dating an attractive guy. And you know these things. We know these things. We know when we stepping out. Cause you know if you stepping out and your girl got some bullshit on you, like, why this bitch wear this shit? It's just you. We just be real. You know that.
Rory
I've dated badges and thought that, though.
Mall
Huh?
Rory
I've dated bad bitches and wondered why they were wearing them.
Mall
Of course, like, what you all right?
Rory
What you got on?
Damaris
Yeah, mom, would you wife a chick that can't dress?
Mall
Oh, I tried it. I tried it.
Damaris
Like, how bad? Like, give me a. Give me a fit example.
Mall
She just, like. She just didn't know. Like, I hate when a girl is like, she was bad. She was attractive, she was pretty as shit, but she just didn't know how to dress to the occasion. Like, you don't have to. It don't have to be. Cause the bo. Her body was crazy. But it don't have to be. Tight dress, tight dress everywhere we go.
Rory
Yeah, I hate that shit.
Damaris
Yeah.
Mall
Like, we just going to the movies. Like, put A hoodie on, some sneakers, some sweats. We going to the movies. We got a tight dress. To the movies?
Rory
Yeah.
Mall
Like, come on, yo, what we doing here? Like, nah, nah, don't. You don't. You ain't got the right on. When we go certain places, it's like, what is that?
Rory
I dated a chick from Miami, and it was. She had no idea what to do outside of beach and.
Mall
Yes.
Rory
Like, outdoor restaurants.
Mall
And you can't be mad at her because that's how she grew up.
Rory
She literally grew up in Miami. Like, that's all.
Mall
But it's also like, that grew up in Miami no matter where they go, so. And we ain't gonna make no excuses, you know, we understand, we give grace, but we ain't making no excuse as much as we give grace.
Rory
We ain't no way above the fashion of a bad culture. I love it, I like it. I comment on it. I'm friends with them, but I'm with you. Like, you don't always have to dress. Put a hoodie on, put some baggy sweatshirts. Your face still. Still shows.
Mall
We're going to Whole Foods. Why you got heels on?
Rory
That's crazy.
Damaris
All right, but Whole Foods.
Mall
Come on, man. Save the hills for later on. We going to dinner later. Put the hills on. When we go to dinner, we going to get grapes and shit. Cantaloupe. We squeezing avocados and, like, hills. Like, come on, man. Like you. It's.
Rory
She only has the sweats that show her whole ass crack.
Mall
No, but if you got sweats on, it's like. The sweats are like velour.
Damaris
They juicy couture.
Mall
They twice. They tight sweat.
Rory
That's what I'm saying. Shows her whole ass.
Mall
No, you look great. The body is banging, but it ain't got to be on display everywhere we go. Some nights, yeah, show that shit off. My is bad, but we going to the movies.
Rory
You're trying to police women's bodies is what you're saying.
Mall
No, I'm not. I'm definitely.
Rory
No. I think there's a. A way higher sex appeal to a woman that doesn't need to show her body and still look.
Mall
Exactly. That's all I'm saying. I grew up in the 90s.
Rory
We're men and we decide everything, so women should pay attention to what we're saying.
Mall
Until they took it off, we couldn't. We ain't know who had a fat ass in the 90s. Them big ass hill figure jeans. We ain't no have fat asses.
Rory
You had that you had to tell.
Mall
A homie as soon as they came to, oh, she got the fatty word. She weighed a size 40 hill figure, G. You can't tell she got a fatty.
Rory
That's hilarious.
Mall
I'm telling you.
Rory
Surreal boxer briefs under them.
Mall
Yeah, she got Gap jeans on that don't show the ass. Gap jeans never showed the figure.
Damaris
So do y'all.
Rory
I miss, I miss when you found out about sneaky titties.
Mall
Oh, man, big hoodie, big shirt. Take that bra off, and them titties sit right there, like outside the bra. They don't. They don't drop. Oh, my God. With the pretty nipples.
Rory
The type of dirty kid I was in high school, I used to hang out with chicks that would smoke black and miles when they took that champion hoodie off. I didn't know you was hiding that under that.
Mall
I never chick smoke black and miles. I never even had a conversation.
Rory
All right, well, I mean, Rory used.
Damaris
To smoke black and miles.
Mall
Yeah. Nah, I mean, I could smoke, but.
Damaris
You wine, tip everything, you smoke black and miles more.
Mall
I can't in my life. I said, I. I smoke. Okay, but like, my girl can't be smoking a black and mild.
Rory
That wasn't my girl. It was a chick that had a black and mile that champed it, and we hit it off. And then she took her champion hoodie off, and I realized she had sneaky tits.
Damaris
Sneaky tits, A champion hoodie and a black and mild. That was a different type of fire.
Rory
Went crazy.
Mall
That's that homeless. I know it. Lock on the door, you get home late, you can't get in. You stay here.
Rory
No, those chicks mother always had the door unlocked. That was the house you go to at any time.
Mall
Yeah. I love those chicks. Chicks that had a baby. The first time you met a girl that had a basement.
Rory
Oh, yeah.
Mall
Oh, my God. That was like hitting the lottery.
Rory
Basements.
Mall
Yeah, you got a basement. We gonna be down here by ourself, and then we can hear your pops come in with these creaky ass steps.
Rory
Like, we got so much.
Mall
We got 40 seconds to pull our shit up. Like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. We about to go crazy down here tonight.
Damaris
That was my. My God.
Rory
Let's pretend to watch this Will Ferrell movie.
Damaris
My godmother had a basement. Me and my God sister, and we were. We had a pretty free life. Like, she was pretty lenient with us, but my God sister was just very, like, bold with shit. I was scary. I was terrified of my godmother, but my God sister was lenient. So I remember one time we. She snuck some nigga in the house. And I think when my mom woke up or whatever, like, we snuck something in the house and then he snuck out, but we did it in the snow. Yeah, there were big ass Timberland boot prints walking into the house. And my godmother was just like, did you not. Y'all didn't think that, like, sweep the boot prints? Like, y'all didn't like y'all being hoes and, like, just wasn't like, considering. You gotta be a smart hoe if you're gonna be a hoe. Yeah, like, yeah, we were. We were doing really, really dumb in the basement as kids.
Rory
I did that with cups a lot in my house where my mom would catch me because I just didn't properly wash the dishes. Like, she's. I can clearly see that there's marks all over these cups.
Mall
Yeah.
Damaris
Oh, lip gloss marks. Damn, that's good. That's a good way to catch. Wow.
Rory
Thorough with dishes now. But that's how I learned.
Mall
And listen, you better be like, get them solos and throw them shits out.
Damaris
Y'all ready for voice fun number two?
Rory
Let's do it.
E
Hey, what's going on? Roy and Mall, I appreciate you all and everyone who makes a podcast. Go. I have a question that my friend is going through, but in my head, it makes sense to ask it in, like, a scenario, hypothetical tone. So here we go. You and your mans, you're both married and your wives really get along. Y'all go on double dates. Y'all even vacation together. All that. You and your friend have a falling out because although you knew he was cheating on his wife the whole time, you never snitch, even to your wife. Your only rule to your friend was do not use me as an alibi because I'm. I really like your wife. I'm cool with your wife. So don't use me as an alibi if you're still gonna do dirt. Of course he does the exact opposite, and he uses you as an alibi. And when the wife starts asking you questions, you give some weird. I can either confirm or deny answer. Now your man's is mad at you and y'all fall out because he felt like you didn't hold him down. Which one of y'all would be in homie court? Would it be you for fumbling that the question when asked from his wife, or would it be your man's who put you in that situation in the first place? Bonus question. The wives no longer talk to each Other because of the drama between you and your friend. Is that weird that the wives no longer talk to each other as well?
Rory
My man's will be in homie court in that regard.
Damaris
Yeah.
Rory
If we start out the gate saying, don't do that. We're both married now. We not have some chicks we kind of talking to or even some girlfriend shit. We're both married. We're doing vacations. Our wives are friends. You still doing your. I'm married over here. Not judging you. Do whatever the you want to do. Leave me out of it. I don't want to be a part of it. It could even jam up my marriage because my wife is cool with your wife. Leave me out of it. I will be dead quiet about everything, but leave me out of it.
Mall
Yeah, I don't want to know.
Rory
And then you add me to it. No, that's not even your friend. Like, that's not your friend. That's a selfish. Outside of the cheating on your wife thing. That's a selfish thing to do to your friend after he tells you not to do that.
Mall
Yeah.
Rory
Yeah. Your man's is on homie court for sure. Yeah.
Mall
Your friend's wishes, man.
Damaris
But also, if. If your friend does put you in that situation, you can't say. I can neither confirm nor deny. That's. That is a little wild.
Mall
Yeah, he got a whole. He gotta know. He gotta know. His jogging. Can't be that. You can't say. I can't confirm. As soon as the nigga say nor, it's like, all right. Nor.
Rory
Just confirm or deny is even credit like confir. Nor deny.
Mall
What's a nigga say?
Rory
No, he lying.
Mall
Yeah, he lying. He lying. So it's like, all right, now you got us all jammed up because you just don't know how to hold it down.
Rory
I. I mean, I can see him in that point trying to be selfish, not saying confirm nor deny, but being like, that's y'all. I got my own marriage over here. Leave me out of whatever.
Damaris
That's. You might as well say, I can never confirm nor deny, cuz that's the same shit you're confirming. What?
Rory
I have no idea what's going on. Leave me out of this shit. Like I have my own. It's diff. Like, you're married lowkey.
Mall
Leave me out of it. Is. Is. Is low key Confirming.
Damaris
That's confirming.
Rory
Yeah, I guess that is.
Mall
Yeah. Leave me out of it.
Rory
You guys aren't wrong. Yeah.
Mall
Cause what's it?
Damaris
Yeah. Yeah. What's it?
Mall
Yeah. What's it? What are we talking about? What's it? What, you want me to leave you out of.
Rory
Matter of fact, I just wouldn't reply. Also confirming you think he cheating during the day. I'm. I'm asleep. If your wife texts, you gotta wake.
Damaris
Up at some point.
Rory
Fool, I'm married. I got other shit to do. Except for reply.
Mall
The best thing I do to my man's wife is reply. I was letting him be like, yo, what's going on? Like, I was busy. Like, what happened?
Damaris
Buy some time. Buy some time.
Mall
Yeah, like, what happened? So now, before I reply to your girl, I'm on the phone with you. Like, yo, she. What's up? What happened? Like, what's going on?
Rory
And I'm mad. Yo, I told you to leave me out the. Why is your wife texting me now? Tell me what to say.
Damaris
But what if she call you? Like, what if she catch you with a call, though?
Rory
Like, four people answer a call.
Mall
And why your girl got my number?
Damaris
Well, they're all f. They're married friends. Like, they're all.
Rory
And they go on vacation. I'm sure they have, like, a group chat on vacation. Like, I could see that. Okay, yeah, that's. That's not.
Damaris
Let's say my man. My man calls Rory, and he like, rory, Damaris with you? Yeah, she says Damaris told me she was with you. Put her on the phone. What do you do?
Mall
She taking a. Nah, he gonna get you jammed up.
Damaris
He gonna give me jam. What you gonna say, ma? How you gonna hold me down?
Mall
Your man called my phone. Say, yo, it's Damaris.
Rory
Wait, where are we at, though? Like, give me a scenario. You can't just do that.
Damaris
I'm not with you. I'm with another.
Rory
But I'm. You would probably hit me and be like, yo, I'm with you. If anyone hits. If anyone calls you, I'm with you now.
Damaris
Because, remember, he wasn't supposed to be doing that, so he wouldn't warn his friend.
Mall
He's stupid. Because you can't never. You can't tell your partner something that I'm with Maul and not, like, give me that play before you give him the playbook. You got to give me the play before you run it.
Rory
I've definitely been the friend that I've gotten that text. Yo, if anyone hit you, I'm with you right now. And I reply with, where we at?
Damaris
Where we at?
Rory
I gotta know. Like, yeah, you gotta give me the.
Mall
Yeah, give me the play.
Rory
Tell me the story.
Mall
Like, what we Were supposed to be doing. Yeah, where we at? Once you get me, I'm like. I call him. Like, yo, bro, you too old for. Cut the shit, my nigga, you about to get jammed up. Like, we shouldn't even be doing this no more. Like, why are we still running this play? Like, stop your bullshit.
Damaris
So, Ma, you gonna hold me down?
Rory
That's With a friend that you've agreed to hold shit down.
Damaris
Yeah.
Rory
This gentleman has said to him, yo, leave me out of your shit. I'm trying to keep peace in my home. Like, I'm actually doing something even weirder by not even telling my wife about this entire thing.
Mall
Right.
Rory
Like, I'm even.
Mall
Cause that could cause a problem in my house. Yeah.
Rory
So that's a fact. But if we go to the original scenario that you're saying, yeah, you would have to tell me what. What was up. Of course I told you.
Mall
Now, I'll hold you down, but you got to give me the play, my dog. Like, if your boyfriend called me without you giving me a play and I see his name pop up, I probably won't even answer it.
Damaris
You don't answer when I call, so I know you ain't answering when that's.
Mall
Saying, like, I don't. Cause it's like, what. What we doing? Like, no, I'm. I'm. What am I walking into right now? Like, what. Why is this. Why is your boyfriend calling me?
Damaris
And then you definitely gonna call me. Like, why your Nigga calling me, bro?
Mall
100. As soon as stop ringing, I'm calling you. Like, yo, your boyfriend just called me.
Rory
But we've established Damaris to be a good gaslighter, so I feel like she'd set up a good scenario where we wouldn't have to answer the phone because she told her man she was recording. So, like, n. I couldn't answer. Yo, my bad, bro. Is recording at. Oh, she. You know, she on Zoom with Studio71. It's one.
Damaris
It's one. It's 1am It's 1am.
Rory
The election happened.
Damaris
I called a nigga yesterday. 8. 8pm like, yo, I'm on a Zoom call. I'm gonna hit you, right? But you ain't on no Zoom call. Don't play with me, bro.
Mall
It might be on the West Coast.
Damaris
Yeah, on the West coast is 5pm Ain't nobody on no Zoom call at 5pm on election night.

Mall
Niggas is in there Lane. And I'm about to come in there and lay all of them niggas down as soon as my girl tell me some, nah. Niggas is in there lay at work, and I'm ready to come in there and lay everybody down just like that. Look how fast we all laying and laying the tracks. Get the out of here.
Rory
I've definitely had, like, my friends, manipulative girlfriends text me like, yo, I'm just making sure he okay. Like, is he safe? Is he with you? And then I start getting concerned.
Mall
Oh, my God.
Rory
Like, where he at? So I don't.
Mall
Oh, my God. You say, where he at?
Rory
No, no, no, no. In my head, I'm like, oh, I.
Mall
Thought you text her where he at? I'm like, he's like, y. In this.
Rory
In this situation. Like, what he's saying he had no idea prior knowledge. He just got thrown into it for Shorty was like, yo, are you with him? I've had friends, girlfriends reach out to me, like, are you with him? I'm concerned. And I got no prior info. Of course, I didn't reply okay. But I. I call them like, yo, you like, what you doing?
Mall

Rory
And they answer right away. I could tell they're okay.
Mall
They start laughing. He pick up the phone, laughing like.
Rory

I just left him. He was stopping somewhere and he said he was going, he'd be home. Like, I don't know. He should be there like, an hour. That's it. I'm done. Once you. Once I see them bubbles pop up, I'm not. We not going no further because he didn't give me no other play. That's the one play he gave me. And that's it. Don't ask me no further questions.
Damaris
No follow up fucking questions.
Mall
I don't know what he was wearing. I don't know what car he Got in. Leave me alone.
Rory
I mean, I, I, I feel bad at this point in my life after working through a lot of, a lot of my demons and becoming a better person. I do feel bad for, like, situations I put people in for my bullshit and, and stuff like that. I, I brought a lot of people into nonsense that I was doing that shouldn't have been involved in it. Like, why am I adding you into this? Like, you just living your peaceful life. Why, why are you now attached to my. Why did I bring you into this? We need to stop doing that as friends. Men, women, if you're doing some, do it by yourself.
Damaris
Yeah.
Rory
Do your dirt on your lonely. Don't bring your friends into it.
Damaris
Yeah.
Rory
Because now they're, now they're complacent. Like, now, now people looking at them like, yo, you was cool with him doing that? No, but I didn't know what the to do. Like, yeah. So, yeah, he should go to homie Court. You're fine in this situation. You did everything right. And I know you're gonna get jammed up because you didn't tell your wife. I know your wife looking at you like, all right, so you didn't say nothing. And you sitting there like, look at the situation I was in. I'm supposed to snitch on my man's.
