Okay. I was spoiled on the last project. Everything that we put out as far as singles was received very well because they were easier listens. And this one, because of that hip hop dx review, which I loved very much and was grateful for. It said at the end of it, yeah, this album is consistent and great. Doesn't push the boundaries. Doesn't really do anything for the genre that we haven't heard already. And it pissed me off. Not because he wrote it, because I agreed. So going into this project, that was something I wanted to challenge myself with. And I have, like, easier listens on this album, but I wanted to lead with some shit that's kind of uncomfortable. It's a weird UK jungle beat. You can't really catch the drums unless you know you're white and you're on the one in the three. It does make sense with my DNA, but it was the first time I had to deal with even, like, our core community having mixed reviews. And I kept trying to remind myself this was what you intended to do.

I didn't see one hoe the entire weekend. Like, when I got to the airport, I was like, oh, finally a chicken sweats. It's so much different when the NFL has that corporate shit around. Just cause it's New Orleans doesn't mean it's going to be any different. That was the most corporate weekend I've ever seen. It wasn't an event I would want to even go to. Even the shit that Cardi had, they had the host running around trying to give her a mic and Cardi's like, you didn't pay for that.

Come back to the Giants Stadium and just sit outside in front of the stadium for about two days and just, you know, just laugh at everybody that drives by. Shout out to Jalen Hurts on winning his first super bowl ring. And shout out to the city of Philly, man. Cause one thing about those Eagles fans, they show up, they represent, they loud, they proud. So shout out to everybody, the city, city, Philadelphia, on winning NFL championship. It's been, I don't know how many years since they've. Since the Eagles have won, but shout out to Philly, man. They, they did. They definitely deserved it. And the Eagles played their ass off. That was a game that was a lopsided ass whooping. You can't design an ass whooping like that.

I went back to the BNB midway through the third quarter.

It definitely was not the game that I was anticipating and expecting. I thought it was going to be a shootout between both teams, but that obviously was not the case. Shout out to the Eagles defensive line. They had that. That was personal. That game for them was very personal. They set a clear message that we are the best defensive line in the league. Pat Mahomes looked like a rookie quarterback out there. He didn't look like he didn't know no plays. Uh, he was scared of the rush. He didn't know, like, it was just. It was bad. It was all around just a one sided victory for the Philadelphia Eagles. So shout out to them for playing a great game.

I can't think of a more lackluster. What was that? Denver and Seattle, whatever year that was, that was here. Yeah. When it was in New York. That was the last time I could think Of a Super bowl being so fucking bad.

And that's not the case at this super bowl event that we were watching the game, the conspiracy theorists that were there that were analyzing the commercials, that Kendrick was bringing the energy down with the commercials in the second quarter. So when his performance start is going to be so hyped because Kendrick. I said, you think Kendrick Lamar is running the commercials at the super bowl and telling them to be very low.

I thought he fucking smoked it and kept us entertained the entire time. The only time I felt like it got a little low in energy was the record I thought was going to be the biggest one, which was all the stars. I don't know, if it's choreography, it just the energy felt lower. Peekaboo shouldn't have worked at a fucking Super Bowl. And it was my favorite part of how they shot that entire thing. Putting together a rap halftime show with that many words off a new album and keeping me entertained. I give my hats off to Dave Free and Kendrick. Maybe I'm in the minority here.
