Foxy Brown
Show the marriage, good ambiance and a nice lighting.
Mall
What that mean?
Foxy Brown
That means all they got to do is take you out to a nice spot and you just going I'm a what? Everything you said you ain't gonna do.
Mall
That's a lie. That's a lie. A lot of don't took me to a lot of nice spots and he came ain't couldn't sniff my drawers at the end of the night. You got the wrong. Oh.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Oh.
Mall
What you mean, oh? For me to drink. Oh, yeah. I don't take much, but she went.
Foxy Brown
Right to the pussy because I thought she was.
Mall
I thought she was talking about something else. What the is you talk about? Oh, yeah, you talking about to get me to drink? Oh, it'll take much.
Foxy Brown
Thank you, baby.
Mall
The right amount of light.
Foxy Brown
That's all I was talking about. It's all I was talking about.
Mall
The right amount of lighting, baby.
Foxy Brown
Do you prefer it to be, like, mute, like dark lighting, or like you like light lighting at the time on.
Mall
A day on a date? Yeah, I like. I like really low candle lit. The flicker like the flicker flicker of the light. Like I'm off to a flame burned by the fire.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
We're back.
Foxy Brown
Sponsored by Boost Mobile, Unlimited talk, texting.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And Janet Jackson.
Foxy Brown
And Janet Jackson, apparently, just cause I'm not. I'm not doing this for Baby Jackson.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Janet kind of ate with that poetry, though.
Foxy Brown
Yo, I'll never forget that video. So as long as I live, you.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Can just YouTube you don't need to forget it.
Foxy Brown
When Janet had her stomach out.
Mall
My love is blind.
Foxy Brown
Y' all don't even know. Y' all was too young. Y' all don't know how that really.
Mall
I wasn't born, so.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, you wasn't born when that video came out. Damn, I feel old. You wasn't born. You weren't even on this earth yet. Damn.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Just swinging in a sack.
Foxy Brown
That is Baby D. That is wild.
Mall
Yep. It came out the year I was born, so I don't think I was born yet.
Foxy Brown
He was on your way, though.
Mall
It spawned me. It literally spawned me.
Foxy Brown
Hey, I could believe that everybody was humping to that.
Mall
Oh.
Foxy Brown
Oh, my God. Y' all don't. Janet.
Mall
That Janet released actually was released April 1993. The year before I was born. A year before I was born.
Foxy Brown
Oh, my.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
They have they ever done a Janet tribute?
Foxy Brown
Of course they have.
Mall
Ah. Who calling me from Ghana?
Foxy Brown
From Ghana. Oh, they got your info scam. Scam got your data. That's why you got to get Boost. See, Boost.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
That would never happen with Boost.
Foxy Brown
That would never happen if you had Boost, baby. They can never get your data. See?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
All right, since you're like, the biggest Janet Stan, I Know who would you want in the. The Janet tribute? Who would be. Who would be worthy? Because that one's tough too.
Foxy Brown
They've had Janet tributes though.
Mall
Yeah, I think they've. I remember one.
Foxy Brown
Destiny's Child did one when I think it was worthy. Was it the hall of Rock and Roll hall of Fame or. I think it was one of those.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
All right, which, which record?
Mall
Usher, Pink and Maya. I remember that one.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I like that list.
Mall
That was the icon 2001. Usher, pink and Maya.
Foxy Brown
Which one was Destiny's Child?
Mall
Let me see.
Foxy Brown
Because they definitely. They definitely did a tribute to Beyonce one year. I mean Beyonce to Janet one year.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
You know how. Well it was the 2001.
Mall
It was the icon. It was icon one. They sung. Let's wait a while.
Foxy Brown
Okay.
Mall
Yep. That was 2001.
Foxy Brown
That was on TV. That was MTV.
Mall
Yep.
Foxy Brown
Okay.
Mall
I. My perfect Janet Jackson tribute would be Ciara, Victoria Monet, Teyana Taylor.
Foxy Brown
Are you talking about like all of Janet's daughters?
Mall
Yeah, her kids, basically her children.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah.
Mall
But I'm trying to think of Sierra.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Tribute to Janet would be fire.
Mall
She would go crazy.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
That would be amazing.
Mall
She would go crazy.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Oh yeah. Tiana would. That makes so much sense.
Mall
Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Like Victoria there. Which, which, which other girlies are really good at dancing. Like the way Victoria Monae is.
Foxy Brown
Y' all don't give Tinashe her props.
Mall
Tinashe.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, like the way you feel about be. That's how I feel about.
Mall
They said Tinashe the only. I retweeted a tweet. I said Tinashe is the only.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Your Chris Brown is crazy.
Foxy Brown
Yeah. Tinash.
Mall
It was like she's the only light skinned girl to not, to not benefit from like light skinned privilege. Like what an icon. Like what a trendsetter. Like she's.
Foxy Brown
Nah, that ain't true. It's way. It's a whole bunch of light skinned girls that ain't been.
Mall
But she's like actually talented. It just, it never stuck. I don't know why.
Foxy Brown
I don't know. I can't. I can't figure that one out.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Because they tried to make her so many different pop girls. Like when one song didn't work, she never had a real identity. Like no one could really, I feel like connect to who she was like the way you. You can with a Rihanna etc like they just tried a bunch of different sounds and like fill in blank here pop star. I just don't think it ever. Because they gave her every shot you could have. And no, everyone was just like, nah, we cool?
Mall
Have you guys seen the Michael trailer?
Foxy Brown
Yes.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah, didn't we talk about that?
Mall
We did.
Foxy Brown
I'm pretty sure we.
Mall
I might not have been here. I know I don't be at work.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
No, I am excited for that. But anyways, we. We are back, and I do want to give you guys a health update if I drop dead. I've had vertigo since Saturday morning, and it has not gone away. I'm going to go to the doctor on Friday.
Foxy Brown
Oh, you got to sleep with your left leg hanging off the bed. It's your left leg, I think, right?
Mall
Oh, you're being for real.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, look it up. No, for real, because it's just your balance is like, you know me. That's all it is.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I think I've never had.
Foxy Brown
Hanging off the bed or something like that.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I've never had vertigo before in my life. And it's. It's. It's been constant for the last few days.
Foxy Brown
Vertigo can be managed by resting in a dark choir. Oh, that. Rory can't do that. Dark, quiet room.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
No, that's my brain.
Foxy Brown
And avoiding sudden head movements or bending over. Key remedies include Epley maneuver, repositioning crystals in the air, staying hydrated, reducing stress, and limiting alcohol. Oh, there you go.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Stress and alcohol. LTC can't get rid of those two things.
Foxy Brown
Lie down. Lie down immediately when dizzy, preferably in dark choir room. To produce. Avoid rapid head movements position. Sleep with your head slightly raised on two or more pillows.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Okay.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, it's you. You can definitely, like, you can definitely get rid of that.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But I'm proud of myself for admitting it out loud because I wanted to tell people, but I don't know why my insecurities make me feel gay.
Foxy Brown
Vertigo.
Mall
Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Like, yo, I got vertigo. That's mad gay.
Foxy Brown
Nice.
Mall
Like, why you ain't on balance. Oh, loose walking ass.
Foxy Brown
Yeah. Oh, w. Wobbly neck ass. Like, you can't even keep your head.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Like a grown man complaining. Complaining about his balance.
Foxy Brown
Yo, he dizzy over his son dizzy.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Like, I feel like that. That's a. That's a valid ick for a girl to have. Like, if your man told you he had vertigo, like, get away.
Foxy Brown
What does that mean?
Mall
How you gonna leave me? You don't even know what direction you walking in.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, like, you can't even. You're not even balanced in your life. Like, how you. I'm saying, how you gonna be balancing this relationship? Like, but how long you had it?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Two days, Saturday morning. And as Saturday hasn't gone away, they.
Foxy Brown
Have you guys to get, like, ear drops, too.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
So I took. I haven't taken melatonin in, like, years. Years. Years. So I took Melatonin on Friday night. And I thought when I woke up, it was just like. I was like, just kind of, like, all up still. Like, you know, if you drink NyQuil and you don't get seven hours of sleep, like, you just feel weird.
Foxy Brown
Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
So I thought it was that. And it just hasn't gone away. And I haven't taken any Melatonin since.
Foxy Brown
Okay.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But, yeah, it's been fucking me up.
Foxy Brown
Yeah. There's a bunch of, like, home remedies that you can do, though.
Mall
I was going to dinner on Thursday. Didn't help. Or what? Monday when we went.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah. At that point, I didn't have vertigo. I was just drunk and couldn't.
Mall
Oh.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And couldn't walk correctly.
Foxy Brown
So maybe it's not vertigo. Maybe you still.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
No, the vertigo came before that.
Foxy Brown
Oh, okay.
Mall
Me and Rory got drunk on accident.
Foxy Brown
But listen, baby, this is why. Well, technically, you did dry January, so January I did, but February. What was that second? You went right back to the bottle. Are you okay?
Mall
I'm fine.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But she was supposed to wait for Cole.
Mall
I was supposed to wait for Cole.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Be honest. She betrayed Cole. If anything.
Foxy Brown
Oh, okay.
Mall
I'm sorry, Jermaine.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
That's what he's focused on right now with releasing I'm sorry, Jermaine.
Mall
He, like. And out of everything that happened to me, yo, Damaris betrayed me. Like, this is my 13th reason. No, I. I did go back, right? I went. Cause I needed a martini.
Foxy Brown
That sounds like an addict. I went back.
Mall
I went back to the bottle. I needed a martini. The crazy shit was. I think I was just really craving O juice. I didn't need the vodka that came with it. Like, I just really wanted some olive juice.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Whatever drink she had was delicious, though.
Mall
Oh, the one I had with Rory was called a side chic, not side chick. Side Chic.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yes.
Mall
And it was made chicks February 15.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Called themselves side chic.
Mall
Side Chic.
Foxy Brown
Is that like a play on Chic Luch, the legendary MC from Yonkers?
Mall
No, it's sheik. Like, like. I see.
Foxy Brown
Okay, got it. I thought that was, like, chic side, like.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
No, it wasn't a Locks themed bar. Okay.
Foxy Brown
Okay.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
No, I thought that was a cool phrase now that side chicks, like, could be more empowered. Like, I'm not a side chick.
Foxy Brown
I'm so she Massage.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah.
Mall
So it was. That was a good cocktail that we had. And then I had a couple glasses of Sans here, because me and Rory were running our mouths. And what I've realized is, through drinking, the majority of my heavy drinking comes from not paying attention to the fact that I'm drinking. Does that make sense? Like, I'm just over here yapping, and they're like, you want another? And I'm like, I thought you about.
Foxy Brown
To say because she was not paying.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Well, she didn't pay either.
Foxy Brown
Yeah. Oh, no.
Keith Urban (mentioned), Narrator
Women.
Foxy Brown
That's when they get. Why are you telling people that when they don't pay?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Do you think people think we split the bill?
Foxy Brown
Damaris, if you went out. If you and Rory went out to eat, I can guarantee you nobody thinks you picked up that bill.
Mall
But it would be. Whatever. Okay, my point. Whatever. My point.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I would have even when I was broke and we would go out. Did you ever pay?
Mall
I've bought you something before. What?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
It was like, probably my 30th. Name it.
Foxy Brown
Would you buy.
Mall
I bought him a drink before. Roy used to come to my bar and drink for free. He would just tip me.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
That's a fact.
Foxy Brown
Well, that's how it's supposed to go.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah.
Foxy Brown
If I know the bartender, she ain't charging me for the drinks, but I'm a tip of it.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah.
Mall
Anyhow.
Foxy Brown
Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Those are the good days, too.
Mall
Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And that location was perfect.
Mall
I said around a quarter from here over at Les Shout out to Essex.
Foxy Brown
Shout out to Essex.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
It was in close proximity to everywhere I was going. I could pre game there for free, annoy her, get loaded and then go.
Foxy Brown
Let a woman take.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Loaded.
Foxy Brown
Let a woman take advantage of you. I like it.
Mall
Yeah. But no, my. My point is when I'm talking to Marlo, I was telling all that I think I'm going to take a break from drinking again. Is what I realize is when I drink, there's all these feelings that I have.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And you think that. You think that's olive and vodka's for. Right.
Mall
Yeah, Like, I don't.
Foxy Brown
Tell me more, baby. I'm so interested.
Mall
No, I'm for real.
Foxy Brown
Okay, tell me more.
Mall
Okay, so, boom, right? I'm a feeling person. I have big feelings. I feel things very heavily. But when I drink, the actions start listening to the feelings. Like, when I'm sober, the actions listen to, like, my common sense, my ego. But when I'm drinking, the actions be listening to the feelings. And then I start tripping. And then I have a reputation for, like, tripping. And it's like, yo, why is she tripping? And it's like, I'm not like, this when I'm sober. So I decided I don't like that. I don't like that feeling. I don't like waking up in the morning. Like, why the fuck did I call that person? I don't even like that person. I don't like that feeling. So I'm. I'm cool.
Foxy Brown
So it's not the alcohol. It's the fact that you started texting or calling somebody that you shouldn't have called.
Mall
I'm talking about in the grand scheme of things, not the last time I went drinking with Rory.
Foxy Brown
Okay. All right. So, yeah, you should stay off the bottle.
Mall
Yeah, I just. I want to have better control over, like. Because I do. Like, I do. And that's. This is not even a romantic thing. This is like, my friends, my family, like, everybody. Like, I just. I don't know. I guess I hold shit in, and then the liquor hit, and I'd be like, yo, remember Wednesday when you said some smart shit and I let that rock? What was that? Like, I don't.
Foxy Brown
Doing that sober math.
Mall
Yeah. You start thinking about shit, you be sitting in the corner, rocking. Like, I text my sister, like, yeah, and at Thanksgiving, like, you said that one shit, like, in front of, like. You know what I'm saying? Why you do that?
Foxy Brown
Yeah, stay off the bottle bit, which is crazy.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I think that happens more, like, in your 30s, because life has traumatized you in. In your 20s. Usually, the drunk. You do the I love you drunk shit. Like, you love everybody. It's all positivity. Like, yo, you know you're my man. Like, yeah, you know all that. That drunk shit. When you get to 30s and. And life has abused you a bit, the alcohol turns on you, and you take all resentment out via text to somebody that may not deserve it.
Foxy Brown
So you back on. No drinking for February.
Mall
I'm just going to do.
Foxy Brown
Because, you know, y' all got women, y' all this y' all month, right? Here it is.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah, I'm gonna have a glass of.
Mall
Wine with my date Valentine's Day weekend.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But, like, I was gonna try to get a babysitter for. For Thursday night for Cole. Like, we not. We're not having a drink for Cole.
Mall
Oh, I have a drink for Cole.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
We not staying up till midnight.
Mall
I'll have a drink for Cole. I have a couple drinks for Cole.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I bought a whole new sound bar just for the fall off.
Mall
Oh, like here. I mean, we can. Yeah, we could do that.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
We could do a cold party. I mean, the track list just dropped, and I want to start by Saying. I can tell just by the track list, it's already a classic. Just by the way he named the songs. I can tell this is. This is a classic already.
Foxy Brown
All right, well, let's. Let's run through it, man. I'm. Because this is a big. This is an album that we've all been waiting for, and now we got the track list. So let's. Let's go through it. Let's. Let's read the track list. Let's try to. He didn't give us no features, though. Correct.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
We don't know that. He could just not list the features in the. In the track list. People have done done before. We. We don't know there. But he did explain the concept and everything. I will say, though, like, anyone that names the record Safety Classic, I can tell, okay.
Mall
My prediction is that one disc will have features and one won't.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
That is just gonna steal my. My predictions from what I'm so.
Mall
And one won't.
Foxy Brown
And one won't. I don't know if I like that, but. Okay.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Literally made that prediction on this.
Mall
Okay.
Foxy Brown
Run a Train is an interesting title. Run a Train. Nobody wants to stop and talk about that one.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
All right. Why. That is hilarious. More. All right, so he put out, like.
Foxy Brown
And then right after that poor thing, like, mall.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But look, right before and after you run a train on a legacy is ruined.
Foxy Brown
Oh, absolutely. One step. But. But let's start with the one before Running train Safety. So he's wearing the common.
Mall
Yo.
Foxy Brown
So we got that. Keep it safe. We could run a train. But safety first. I got it. Okay.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Before that, it was either two to six guys.
Foxy Brown
There you go. All right.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Well, no. What's. What's kind of funny about the Run a Train is he the concept? Disc 29 and disc 39. The first one is mainly about those college days driving back to North Carolina, which he explained similar to the Come up, his first project. So when you are talking about college days, it is kind of nuts to have a song called Run a Train. You're not wrong by pointing that out.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, I might go straight to that one. I just want to hear what Run the Train is about.
Mall
Like, I think I'm gonna go straight to who the is you.
Foxy Brown
Who the is you. Okay.
Mall
Because if he get on my. Get off my dick. Like he and him. I get up. Get off my dick bag. I mean, I'm gonna go crazy.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I think that might be the one that was playing during the credits in.
Foxy Brown
That one snippet is the last one on disc 29. Is that called Lonely at the Top?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Lonely at the Top. Yeah. That's. That's. That's a six minute Drake disc bonus.
Mall
You couldn't help yourself, could you? It's a bonus. I think it says at the bottom.
Foxy Brown
Bonus. Is that what it says?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But I don't what makes it a bonus. I don't understand that. Now bonus records are back in the day. Like certain CDs you bought. Like Japan would get one bonus record that the States wouldn't like. What? Why is it a bonus? Because it maybe just doesn't fit the track list.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, I don't get why it's labeled as a bonus, but. Okay.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah. Well, either way, it's. It's 12 records on both. Both discs, so looking at 24, it's a lot of cold music. I am excited. I hope he doesn't get another lawsuit for this back cover, though, because that is a lot of photos that are licensed and copywritten and album covers, like.
Mall
They'Re kind of blurry, though.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
No, I could tell that's Beanie Siegel.
Foxy Brown
Love that album.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
It's always one of my favorites.
Foxy Brown
Right next to Beanie.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
What's funny is all of the ex Rockefeller members are gonna start suing J. Cole in. In Unity.
Foxy Brown
Is this the official. Do we feel like this is the official artwork or was this just for socials?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
No, he said. He said he shot back over. This was a photo of his bedroom when he was 15, and he shot both. This his concept. I do actually really like the back cover. I think it's.
Mall
I like it too.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And I am joking with the, you know, font making it a classic, but that stuff is important. Very rarely do you have a classic album that has very shitty artwork. It's happened.
Mall
But now I love her again. I think that might be the one.
Foxy Brown
What if?
Mall
Oh, God, I love her again in the what if?
Foxy Brown
I know. I know.
Crook
What.
Foxy Brown
What if is already what if. Come on, Jermaine, don't do this, man. Don't.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Just.
Foxy Brown
Just give us the music, bro.
Mall
You can't help yourself.
Foxy Brown
All I said was don't do this. I didn't say nothing else. All I said was don't do this. I'm not saying anything. I'm not just saying what if? Do we know? What do we do? We kind of feel what that's about.
Mall
I feel like, what if I love her again? Into what if? I feel like it might be related to something else. I don't think it's related to Morab.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I don't. I don't think There's a concept of what if I participated in the beef? I don't think giving.
Mall
I don't.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
What. What would have happened? Because that. That would actually even piss me off. I'd turn into mall if that was the case.
Foxy Brown
I'm just saying I don't think he.
Mall
Wrote, like, the OJ Version, like, yo, like, just didn't kill her. But if I did it, like, I didn't. You know what I'm saying? Like, I don't think he does that on this album.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I mean, he did sort of take Maul's advice here. Even though Damaris let him down the Villis instead of the illest. Like, he's not saying he's the illust. He's just the vill. He found a loophole in. In your argument. I'm just trying to bait you.
Foxy Brown
I'm sorry.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I apologize.
Mall
Stop baiting him.
Foxy Brown
I'm here for this.
Mall
Let me. Let me. Let me. Let me lay that down. Come Monday, don't bait him. And don't come in here on. No.
Foxy Brown
What you mean?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah, wait.
Mall
Once the album drops, don't bait him into coming here. In here on. And don't come in here on. We're gonna come in here. We're gonna be on positivity.
Foxy Brown
No, I'm gonna be on whatever I want to be on after this. I listen to this album. If this is trash, I'm gonna say it's trash.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I don't think there's a world where this is trash. But, I mean, yeah, I'm coming here for positivity.
Foxy Brown
Yeah. I'm not coming here looking to be negative. Like, I'm. I'm not that person. But I'm gonna be honest. I'm gonna just be honest. Like, I'm looking forward to this album. Like, I know people try to say, paint this narrative. I don't like Cole. It's not true. I've been looking forward to this album. We finally getting it. I'm just saying. I'm just, you know, want to listen to it. Hit him. I hope the music is amazing. We know the rapping is J. Cole. He can rap. I'm more so concerned about what does the music sound like.
Mall
That's my whole thing with the beats and stuff.
Foxy Brown
The production, you know, the hooks, the content. Like, what is. What does it sound like? You know what I'm saying? What did he do? Like, I'm not the bars. I'm never. I'm never ever questioning J. Cole's ability to rap. He can rap, but the music. Okay, Because I know he made changes. You know what I'm saying? We obviously know he made changes in the last couple years. The album probably sounded totally different two years ago. So I'm just interested to hear what he did.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I mean, the concept kind of changed completely because it was not even rumored.
Keith Urban (mentioned), Narrator
They.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
They more than alluded to it. Of the fall off of certain rappers when they get to a part of their career that they start to fall off. He completely changed the concept with disc 29 and disc 39. His perspectives around when he was 29 years old and then his perspectives at 39 now. So the album must have completely changed. Yeah, because the concept of the fall off is not that anymore. It's. It's more so the decades of. Of his life. So I. I'm with you, though, on the. Sonically, I'm very curious where. Where this is gonna go. I see that it was. It was EP'd by Cole, EB and T minus, so T Minus, that makes me feel great because I think T Minus is criminally underrated and an incredible, incredible producer. So I love to see T Minus his name in the ep.
Foxy Brown
Never mad at T Minus producing.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
T Minus. T Minus did the whole thing. I'd be happy. So I'm excited on that front that T Minus is this heavily involved.
Foxy Brown
Okay, well, we got less than.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
You know, how crazy that we need to go to that high school in Toronto and figure out what was. How does, like, Boy Wonder, T Minus Diesel, like, there's like six amazing producers that all went to that high school together. Like, that should be brought up at some point. Like, y' all just all was at that high school in the same year.
Foxy Brown
What's the school in Jersey that Lauren went to?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah, Columbia High School in. In South Orange. Scissor went there. Rotimi went there. My guy from. From Scrubs, Zach Braff. I think Angela Yee went there as well. And then obviously Praz and Lauren went there. Wyclef was. Think Wyclef was going to high school?
Foxy Brown
No, he was going to school. High school.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
High. It's a great chic line. That's a callback to she. Yeah, like, high schools like that. I don't know. I just think that's not talked about. Even in the music nerd community of Boy Wonder and everyone that went to that high school at the same time that y' all just like, why don't y' all bring that up more?
Mall
Are there any other schools that are like that or even colleges that you can.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I'm trying to think in the sports world there.
Foxy Brown
I'm sure my school was just me and Max B.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Wait, hold on. Max B. Went to your.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, ain't no Max. We was on the boys choir all.
Mall
I had no. I have no clue.
Foxy Brown
Where y' all think he get the melodies from? Max, he. He studied music.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Everything makes so much sense now.
Foxy Brown
What you mean?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
No, I never knew that.
Foxy Brown
Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Is there footage? The way there's, like, footage of you and, like, Vanessa Williams and.
Foxy Brown
I don't think so, I think. Because I think Max left.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah. Someone tells me Max didn't stay very long.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, but he was in the choir, though. Max. We was in the boys choir at.
Mall
The same time as you, or.
Foxy Brown
No, he was there the year. The year I. The year I got there, I think, is the year he left.
Mall
Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Then there was. I don't know if it was George Washington, maybe. It's. It's a school in Brooklyn that's closed now. But at the same time, Big Busta Rhymes and Jay Z all were in a lunchroom at one point. And I mean, granted, all three of them didn't really show up to high school very much. But that's kind of crazy that all y' all are, like, just in.
Foxy Brown
Is it Weston house?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I think it was. It's a. It's something that's closed now.
Mall
Yeah. Westinghouse or something.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah, I was. Said George Washington. Yeah. No, that. Sometimes I just. That that type of, like, that's fate. Like, not to be corny. Like, how do you, like, those talented people all end up in the same exact place at the same time? Like, that, to me, is. Is crazy.
Foxy Brown
But it's also we all from the same neighborhood.
Mall
True.
Foxy Brown
It's a lot of that, too. Like, we go to the same school because we all live. We all from this neighborhoods. The zone school thing. We all live in the same zone. So it's like.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But New York is a little different in that, like, you have your zone school, but you can go to other high schools. Not everyone, I'm sure in other cities, everyone in the neighborhood probably goes to the same high school. New York is much different in that capacity. And with Catholic schools, like, you could go to school in a different borough your whole life if you want to. Like, that's why I think it's kind of nuts, but.
Mall
And then me and Stove Guy both being from Syracuse is crazy.
Foxy Brown
Did y' all go to the same school?
Mall
No.
Foxy Brown
Who went to your school?
Mall
No one you would know.
Foxy Brown
Ain't no famous people come out of your high school.
Mall
Me, I mean, I'm enough.
Foxy Brown
Okay.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I'm enough.
Foxy Brown
I'm not even. I'm not doing this for. Baby. You got it. See? Get a track list and start talking crazy. Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
The fall off coming.
Mall
Like, I'm talking different.
Foxy Brown
I'm breathing different.
Mall
My body different.
Foxy Brown
Start talking very crazy.
Keith Urban (mentioned), Narrator
Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And I mean, listening through stove, guys. Music. I don't know if he was really just like, focused on high school.
Foxy Brown
Yeah. I mean, what? Chemistry seems to be his strong point. Math Keeps a math and chemistry major.
Mall
All right.
Foxy Brown
Come on.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah.
Foxy Brown
For sure. Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Anyways, do we have any predictions? Because come Thursday, our next episode. I don't even really want to talk about the cold because when that episode comes out, the album will be out.
Mall
Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
So. And any last predictions as far as what? Just with the album. What. What really to expect.
Foxy Brown
I think you want to guess on some features.
Mall
I think we. We did that. But I'm still. I'm still sticking to my. I want my 21 Savage feature. I'm sticking to it. I think we're gonna get a jid feature.
Foxy Brown
I can promise you. 21 savages. Not on this album.
Mall
Whatever. Okay. But I get. I think we're gonna get a JID feature.
Foxy Brown
I can see that.
Mall
I think possibly an Eminem feature.
Foxy Brown
That's interesting. That's interesting.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Lord, please. No, he said, Lord, please know you.
Foxy Brown
Don'T want to hear Marshall.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I don't want to sound like Emit. I don't want to hear J. Cole and Eminem.
Foxy Brown
Okay.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Eminem is a goat. M is great.
Foxy Brown
Yes. No, I'm with you. I don't think I want that either.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I'm cool.
Mall
He's like, I don't think I want that either.
Foxy Brown
I'm Be honest. I don't think I want to hear that. I don't think I want to hear him and J. Cole. That might be too much rap.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But I don't know, maybe Cole would put him on a better type of beat that would bring out maybe the older Eminem, where it's not like maybe just. Just rapping a regular cadence.
Foxy Brown
Nah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
MK and give us substance, which Eminem has done a million times. Like, I feel like you could just do that again. Nah.
Foxy Brown
Because, you know, if EM is doing a cold a track with J. Cole, he going. He approaching that shit, like, rapidly. Rap. Rap. I gotta wrap this nigga out of here.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And I guess that's kind of like my problem with EM at this point of anytime he does features. That's the concept. Like, oh, I have a beat that's so much space. I'm gonna call em. Who's gonna rapidly rap. Rap. Rap, like Eminem is giving us so much substance throughout the years. Why can't he go back to that? Like him and Cole on a. Where our focus on this is making a good song, not trying to see who could rap better than each other.
Foxy Brown
Let me see.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Both got white moms.
Foxy Brown
Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Give a good.
Foxy Brown
Give a good prediction for as far as feature.
Mall
Just period for the album. A good. A good prediction. So we can put this out and then we'll see if we're right on Friday.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I mean, I've given. I've given a lot of predictions already that I'm sure will all be wrong.
Foxy Brown
But my predictions, again, it's clear on how I feel about Cole now as an emcee, but obviously he still is a very. A great rapper. I just don't know if. I don't know if his verses are going to stick with me. I think the music would be good, but I don't know if. I don't know if his verses are gonna stick with me because he's still. He's still an incredible mc. But, you know, listening to the mixtape he just put out, it's like, it's no surprise. Coke and rap.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I get that. That was the point of that. That mixtape was just to show I could rap.
Foxy Brown
But no, we know he can rap.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I never. I don't understand Charlemagne's response to that of like, oh, I want Cole to give us his 44, his substance. Like, that goes without saying that Cole's always done that. I don't understand why people took that mixtape with a rollout that's just rapping over other people's beats on some mixtape clue shit. Like, it was supposed to have all this substance. The point of that was just the rap.
Foxy Brown
No, I'm not even talking about substance. I'm just saying, like, that's why I want the music to be good. Because I think minus what he's saying, I feel like if the music is good, I'm going to at least want to keep listening to it and keep playing it. If the music is good.
Mall
You're saying you personally. You don't think. No matter what he says, you don't think it's gonna stick with you. So you'd rather just have good music.
Foxy Brown
Just.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Just.
Foxy Brown
If the music is good, I'm gonna want to listen to it all the time.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Where. Where I disagree with you. Mall is based off the concept that he wrote out with being 29 in that decade, being 39 in that decade and how he feels to me. This is going to have so much substance. That's going to stick with adults.
Mall
No, but what I'm. I think you're missing what Mall is saying. Maul doesn't care how much substance it has. It's not going to stick with him. That's what Mall is trying to tell you. So that's why he's hoping that the music is good, so that it'll happen.
Foxy Brown
Yeah. Because if the music is good, it don't even matter.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And. And I just think there's going to be so much stuff that Mo could relate to that it will end up sticking.
Foxy Brown
I hope so.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
That's. That's what I'm saying.
Foxy Brown
I hope so. Like, I wanna. I wanna really.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Like, it's gonna be some adult grown man rap.
Foxy Brown
I hope so. You know, I mean, I just. That's the only thing that's. That I'm kind of like going to this album.
Mall
I'm like.
Foxy Brown
I just hope the music is to a certain level. Because if. If the music is. Is incredible, I'm gonna listen.
Mall
I think there's a bias there that no matter. Cole could come out and say the wildest, craziest, most relatable. And I just. I don't think it's gonna stick tomorrow. That's.
Foxy Brown
Personally, that's just the wildest crazy. As far as what?
Mall
Like. As far as. Like, he could. It could be so fire that. But I just don't think it. I don't think it'll matter to you.
Foxy Brown
No, listen, again, I. He's gonna have that on album. He's never. Not like, he can. He's one of those. He can rap his ass off. But I'm just saying now, just let the music be fire. Like I. That for me, that's what it turns into now. It's like, just let the music be incredible because then at least I can listen to it, you know, play it. It could have replay value. Like, don't give me too much, you know, like, showcasing your rapping ability. Because I know you could rap. Like, I'm not questioning that. Does the music have replay value? That's where my concern is at. How much replay value are these songs going to have? And that's what I'm hoping for. I'm hoping. The production is incredible, the hooks are, you know, strong, and that's it. That's all I need. I'm not worried about bars. He can rap. I'm not worried about it.
Mall
You don't have any predictions? No predictions.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
He's just not quali l don't stick to your rib.
Foxy Brown
Thank you for that, Rory. I'm trying to think of. I'm trying to think of features also.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Just quickly, though, with Cole on the rapping shit, he's really never done that on his actual albums. He focuses on making music on his album. He's not just like, try back to the Eminem. Just trying to showcase that you could rap better than everybody. I don't know a co album where that's the focus. He's an elite rapper, so raps are good, but he's focusing on making good songs.
Foxy Brown
But it's different now. You see what I'm saying?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Like, that's why I feel like 29 and 39. I don't think he's focused on trying to prove to anybody that is great.
Foxy Brown
That's cool. If that's his, you know, what he wants to do conceptually. I'm just saying that I. I'm afraid that he may feel like he has to rap his way back into people's hearts.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I think. I think that's part of the reason he did the mixtape shit, to get that part out of the way so he could focus on making good songs and a classic album. Let me get this rapping shit out the fucking way.
Foxy Brown
I will.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
That's. That's what I do think. Mall. That appears to be the iPhone 16.
Foxy Brown
It is.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
That's nasty, man.
Foxy Brown
It is.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Come on. Do you love yourself?
Foxy Brown
I do.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)

Foxy Brown
Segregation in the day, Integration at night.
Narrator (Charlie’s Place segment)
When segregation was the law, one mysterious black club owner had his own rules.
Mall
We didn't worry about what went on outside. It was like stepping in another world.
Narrator (Charlie’s Place segment)
Inside Charlie's Place, black and white people danced together. But not everyone was happy about it.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
You saw the kkk.
Mall
Yeah, they was dressed up in their uniform.
Nav Green
The KKK set out to raid Charlie.
Mall
Take him away from here.
Foxy Brown
Charlie was an example of power. They had to crush him.
Narrator (Charlie’s Place segment)

Foxy Brown

Mall
Where did Nicks at?
Foxy Brown
He ain't too far behind.
Mall
He did all this talking.
Foxy Brown
What Matthew Stafford is doing statistically, bro, is crazy.
Nav Green
Bro, you know I ain't no Josh Allen fan, but Matthew Staff forgot better weapon. Caleb Williams.
Foxy Brown
Hey, he should be in that conversation.
Mall
And what conversation?
Nav Green
He should be in it. Listen to Broken Play with Nav Green from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcast.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Crook.
Crook
And Chase Nashville chats with the coolest cat in country music. He is edgy. He's fun. He is Chase Matthews.
Keith Urban (mentioned), Narrator
Keith Urban helped make him a global sensation last year, but it's his Recent number one hit Darling that put Chase on the map and launched a fun and difficult conversation about lovers who cheat and lie.
Foxy Brown
That's why I'm scared to get married. You give me trust issues, brother.
Crook
Crook. And Chase Nashville chats with Chase Matthew. Listen and subscribe on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And on the feature side, I have a question for M. Demaris. Can you pull up Q Google image? Jay Z. LaRussell. Mal knows Jay Z better than anyone in this room. I want you to tell me, based off his fit, his smile, does it look like he's in rap mode?
Foxy Brown
Jay is not rapping.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Just pull that up. Like, can you tell by looking at him? Does that look like somebody that maybe is mumbling some verses off some beats Cole sent him?
Foxy Brown
No, that's. This is. This looks like somebody who just, you know, hired LaRussell to perform at the super bowl tailgate.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And he did a deal with Rock as well. And congrats to Russell.
Foxy Brown
And he got it done because he had threw some shots at Rock a few years ago.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
You know, they got it done. They got it done. And also he was talking about his, you know, because he was signed with Russ first.
Foxy Brown
Okay.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Which I think when we had Russ on our podcast, that was the first time I think he announced that he signed the Russell at that time. I do want to give credit to Russ in that regard of just letting the Russell go. Like, yo, my focus is on my music right now. I. I don't want to hold you here.
Foxy Brown
Shout out to Russ a real one.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I thought that's what real ones do. Like this. I thought I had a vision for this label, but I'm doing my shit. I don't want to hold you back. So I think that's incredible. But I had a prediction a while ago that we would finally get the proper Jay Z and J. Cole song on the fall off.
Foxy Brown
Not happening.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I hope I'm right, but not happening.
Foxy Brown
Jay Z is not rapping, bro.
Mall
I was. I was. I would pay my last toenail for it, but I don't think it's happening.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
The legacy can't stop at Mr. Nice watch it. Can't.
Foxy Brown
But Cole is not done rapping. Oh, you said you're subscribing to. This is J. Cole's last album.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
No, of course.
Foxy Brown
Oh, okay. Because this is not.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Even though he said it again, this.
Foxy Brown
Is not J. Cole's last album. Hell, hell no.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Rappers do not retire unless they podcast.
Foxy Brown
Show me a rap.
Mall
Well, yes, this might not be his last song. This might not be his last feature, but I think it's his last album.
Stigatz
Nah.
Foxy Brown
Okay, all I'm saying is he's not done rapping.
Mall
Okay, that's fine. I can get with that.
Foxy Brown
I'm with you. This may be his last album.
Mall
Cool.
Foxy Brown
But if you think that J. Cole is never stepping in a booth after this album drops again in his life, you're crazy.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
How. But how do you not close the chapter? Because he him even talking about the concept of this. Starting with the come up, his first project. And the fall off is making it full circle. From his first project, your first feature, to the world in the masses was A Star is Born. Jay Z rapped about all the stars in. In the last 30 years of hip hop at that time. And then the last verse was, here's the new prodigy. And he went nuts. Cole went nuts on that verse. How do you not close it? If you're saying full circle on everything in the beginning of your career, how do you not close the A Star Is Born part two? And again, if Jada want to rap, Jay don't want to rap. But to me that's the perfect way. And that's also because I hate Mr. Nice Watch. But come on, we need to close the stars. He was born. He's a star. Jay Z was right. This kid is going to be the next one. And he was. You gotta close that.
Foxy Brown
I don't want Jay Z to rap no more. Let me be honest.
Mall
I think that's coming from.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Get out of this office though. No, I don't even want this energy in here.
Foxy Brown
You know why I don't want this energy? Because all that's gonna happen is the song gonna be out for three minutes and gonna be trashing.
Mall
I don't give up.
Foxy Brown
I don't give a. I'm just saying.
Mall
Four fifths of a. I understand that.
Foxy Brown
But I'm just saying, like, it's just like to see like the greatest disrespected, like, it's just like I. For what?
Mall
I hear you.
Foxy Brown
You know what I'm saying? Just like, for what? Like that's why I'm just like. I don't really care to hear Jay no more. Like, what? What else can Jay Z say? What else can he do? He's done it all. He said it all. He showed us everything. Like, what else? What else do we want? What else do we want to hear Jay say? That's why I really don't care.
Mall
Being a stay at home dad.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, I think, I think well, okay. He never gave us that. But I'm just saying, I don't. I don't think that he.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I mean, for the Cowboy Carter tour, he did look like the nanny. Like, he looked like he's really a stay at home dad.
Mall
Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Which I love.
Foxy Brown
Let him do that. But I'm just. I just don't. Because I hold Jay to such a high regard, and it's just like. It's like I don't. I don't subscribe when people like, yo, Jay's rapping. I know he's not.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
If he's not, you of all people know that. Jay has so much more to talk about.
Foxy Brown
He does.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And one of the greatest minds we.
Foxy Brown
Have has more, without a doubt. But I just don't know if what would inspire Jay to rap because he's now everything. It's not about, obviously. It's not about money. It's not about adding to his legacy. At this point, all of that is solidified. It would be. Something would have to motor someone. Something would have to inspire him. Something would have the motive. A casino.
Mall
Yo, shut up.
Foxy Brown
It would talk about not getting it. We don't want to hear that.
Mall
It would have to be some. He would have to hear somebody whose pen is so crazy and flow is so crazy.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I think, to me, what wouldn't. And this is such a crazy sentence to me. What would inspire Jay Z? Let me tell you what I. What inspires Jay Z. You don't think though that concept of I signed it was Wale and Cole was the first artist on Escarter Enterprises after Rockefeller. Like, this is his last album and I presented him to the world. That's. That wouldn't be an inspirational full cycle moment where I think Jay would be.
Foxy Brown
Like, I get it.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Nah, man, I was. I was right.
Foxy Brown
I get it.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Literally, I saw like, that was. Look at my legacy. I also signed one of the big three.
Foxy Brown
That would be closest.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Look at my. Look at my legacy.
Foxy Brown
That would be the closest. I just don't know if that's gonna get it done.
Mall
Yeah, I don't think that's gonna get it done.
Foxy Brown
But you know why? You know why? Only because I feel like. I feel like. That would over. That would overshadow the entire project.
Mall
No, it wouldn't.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
It's 24 songs.
Foxy Brown
But. But all anybody will be talking about is J. Ver.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I mean, but no, at the same time, like, maybe in the. With the overshadow thing, I don't even care. Because even with that mixtape, what overshadowed was like one small Bar that people thought he was talking about Kendrick. Like, everything's going to overshadow anything music related at this point. When Iceman drops, everyone is not going to be focused on is this music good? They're going to be focused on, yo, is this a Kendrick shot? Was this, like, that's going to happen no matter what. So I don't think artists should even be focused on what's going to overshadow a moment anymore. Because that's just. It's par for course now.
Foxy Brown
Do y' all think Kendrick is on it? And do y' all want Kendrick?
Mall
No. And no.
Foxy Brown
You don't want Kendrick.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I take back my prediction of you.
Foxy Brown
Don'T want Kendrick on album.
Mall
He's not. He's not. It's not even about what I want. He's not going to be on there.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Cool.
Foxy Brown
Would you want him to be on there?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Of course.
Mall
If the song will be good, sure. But actually, no, because I don't want to hear the discourse on Twitter, actually. I don't want to discourse. So, no.
Foxy Brown
I just said the same thing about a J version. Like, I don't give a fuck with nobody. That's what I'm saying with the matter.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I just said that. Now she's saying, if you don't understand.
Mall
The difference between I don't need to hear Kendrick and Cole together because I don't want to hear what the Internet has to say about it when we've been hearing a bunch of Kendrick in comparison to. We haven't heard from Jay in fucking years. I don't give a fuck what it takes.
Foxy Brown
You just hit Jay two years ago on Khaled's album.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
More than two years ago.
Mall
That ain't enough. And that was more.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Definitely was.
Mall
That was more than two years ago.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I don't even think Amara was born yet. Is. He's three. God. Did. Was a long time ago.
Foxy Brown
Trying to drop an album for two years.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah.
Foxy Brown
Trying to drop an album more than two years. So this was three years ago.
Mall
God, it was 2022.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah. Amar wasn't even born.
Mall
About to be four years. Time flying, baby.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah. And I mean, Jay had a lot to say on that.
Foxy Brown
I just don't think. I don't.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I don't see him three plus years. I'm sure. I'm sure Jay's experienced some things he can talk about in the last three years.
Foxy Brown
I just don't think that it's gonna happen on this album.
Mall
Oh, no, I don't think so either.
Foxy Brown
But I mean, I think we'll. I think we'll get. We'll get. We'll get a J verse somewhere. I don't think it's gonna be on the fall off, though.
Mall
Who do you think it would be with or under or what?
Foxy Brown
I think Beyonce gets a J verse before anybody at this point. I could see him and Beyonce doing a record.
Mall
Yeah, but B hasn't really been. I don't think Act 3 would be it. Like, when I look at the way features were on actual one in act two, I don't think Jay is gonna be on act three.
Foxy Brown
I'm just saying I think she gets a J verse before anybody.
Mall
I'm sure she could, but, like, I.
Foxy Brown
Think that's the next time we hear Jay Z. It'll be with his wife. Because I. The only time you see Jay on stage now is at her on her tour. Like, they. They travel the world as a family now. Like, you know what I'm saying? They moving like, it's. It's that now they're in that era.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
If Rihanna felt like making some music, I think she would get. Get Jay to lose something.
Foxy Brown
Not mad at that. That's what I'm saying. I just don't think it's going to be the way we, like, anticipated. It's not going to be with another rapper. I don't think. I don't think it's going. I don't think the next J verse we get is going to be with another rap. And we could be totally wrong. He might be on his J. Cole album, but I don't think. I don't think so. I think we would have heard rumblings of that already, but I think the next time we hear Jay, it'll be with Beyonce or Rihanna, somebody like that. Shaboozi's not getting a Jay Z verse. It's not happening. I like Shabuzi. At all. Shabuzzi is lit, but I'm just saying Jay's not giving Shabuzzi a verse.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Frank could get J. Frank Ocean. There's very few people that if they started, if they want to make music again, Jay would show up right away.
Foxy Brown
Franco's not giving Jay. Jay Z's not giving Frank Ocean diverse. It's not happening.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
He has before.
Foxy Brown
I know what he did. He gave a lot of verses before that will never get another verse.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Ah. Frank may be on the most hooks with Jay Z outside of Pharrell. Frank be. Frank be on every J album at one point.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, he was. He was the hook guy for sure. But I don't. I think that's over Frank.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Not even the hook guy. Has Frank given a hook to anyone?
Foxy Brown
No, I'm talking about with Jay.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Oh, with Jay. Yeah. Okay.
Foxy Brown
I'm not saying with nobody.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
He was even on 444 in 2016. Nah, Frank could get Jay out the house.
Mall
I had a question for y', all, actually. Speaking of, like, features and like that, who do y' all think out of, like, the newer. All the people we watched at the Grammys, like, the new artists and, you know, Olivia Dean's big. All of these people. Who do y' all think is, like, gonna have, like, a long career? Like, do y' all think any of anybody new is gonna have a long career? Leon.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Leon.
Mall
Yeah. Okay.
Foxy Brown
Anybody new?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I think. I think Leon is here to stay.
Mall
Out within the last four started to. Their star started to rise within the last three to four years. That's what I mean by new.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah. To me, Leon Thomas is the one that's here to stay. Because now. Now he has the. The energy and all the eyes on him, and he's actually talented.
Mall
Okay.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Whereas there's a lot of time people get all the eyes, all the looks, everything that industry gets behind them, and they're just not talented. So they fall off. Like, okay, Leon checks every box, and, yeah, he'll be fine even if the industry stops being behind him.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, Leon, he has longevity.
Mall
Okay.
Foxy Brown
He's gonna be around. Cause he has true artistry. I think that's what gives you longevity. You have to be a true artist. You look at all the pop stars and the people that are icons. True artistry. They're real artists. A lot of people catch a record, they have talent. But true artistry, you can leave that person in the studio, and they can create a song from start to finish by themselves. And Leon Thomas has that. He can create. He can build a song, write a song, produce a song by himself, start to finish. So I think Leon.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
He records himself.
Foxy Brown
Records himself. I think he's definitely his. His talent says longevity to me. On the rap side. Hmm.
Mall
Yeah. I can't even.
Foxy Brown
Yeah. I don't know if I see any new rappers that you say new rappers within the last four years.
Mall
Rap is unpredictable. Rap is so shaky and unpredictable.
Foxy Brown
Well, right.
Mall
Rolling.
Foxy Brown
Because rap.
Mall
You. Okay.
Foxy Brown
Rap became such a hustle.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Like, there's not any superstars in rap.
Foxy Brown
Yeah.
Nav Green
Like.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Because that aren't already superstars.
Mall
I'm not even looking for superstars. I just meant, like, a long. A long career. You can have a long career without being a superstar.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Oh, no, that's.
Foxy Brown
That.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
That's fair, but again, yeah, it's. It's kind of. I don't know at this point.
Mall
Yeah. What works?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I was talking to. Pardon me, Drop. Drop a name. I was talking to Quentin Miller yesterday. Thank you for catching your name. Yeah, he brought up a point that I agree. You guys know I've. I've been pretty vocal of. Of me personally thinking Playboi Carti's music stinks. The Grammys is up for not. The fact that Playboi Carti was not even nominated is a slap in the face to. To hip hop when you're trying to be that pretentious. Do I fuck with music? God, no. I'm pretentious in disliking it. But the fact that you have those numbers that impact in hip hop and you're not even nominated is kind of a miscarriage of justice. To not have Playboi Carti up there like, you're taking a whole part of hip hop that is important and keeping this moving. Look at the numbers he does, and not having it represented in that category is kind of nuts. I don't even with him, but, like, if I'm Playboy Cardi, I'm looking at this like, yo, what. What else would I have to do to be nominated?
Mall
But this was a big year in hip hop. Who. Who does the Grammys take out without causing a riot?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I don't really have the. The answer to that because anything I say would sound wrong because I think everyone that was nominated here deserved their nomination. But that's where the Grammys needs to make a decision. Someone needs to get clipped from that to represent what Playboi Carti did in hip hop in this Grammy cycle.
Foxy Brown
So you say he should. He should have been nominated for best rap album.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah. Even though I personally don't even think it's rap.
Foxy Brown
That's not rap.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I know, but, but, but see, all right, this is also what me. Me and Quentin we're talking about, which we've talked about on this podcast. Rap has such a wide spectrum now that there needs to be subcategories the way there is with R and B.
Foxy Brown
And that's melodic rap performance.
Mall
Not even. It's not.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
There needs to be subcategories.
Mall
Wasn't black. No one would ever say that that was rap if he wasn't black. No one would ever say.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
That's a good point. Because when Igor got Igor, which I think is a classic album, got nominated for rap album, I said, first of all, that should be. That should be nominated for album of the year. And it's also not a rap album. But I think we're kind of doing a discredit to rap by not putting sub genres where something like a Igor or Playboi Cardi should be represented in that. Because Tyler is hip hop. That that all derives. Even though he's singing on that entire thing. And there isn't really any rap verses that still derives from that's still hip hop. Like Cudi is hip hop. So we below is hip hop, even.
Mall
Though it's progressive hip hop or alternative.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah, like I think there needs to be some because we can't just think of rap in the boom bap lyric way. It is in its purest form.
Foxy Brown
That's what rap is now.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Because it's changed though.
Foxy Brown
Nah, some other shit has. Some other rap has birthed some other things. Rap hasn't changed.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I'm not.
Foxy Brown
I'm not some niggas that. Because this is a nigga ready to drop Thursday night that raps.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But to me, to me, rap ain't change.
Foxy Brown
No, some of niggas are still rapping for sure.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And I'm saying that the best rap album should stay the way that it is. I actually think since Royce got nominated for his project, the Grammys has gotten it right. These are all real rap albums. Because before they was nominating rap albums that wasn't rap albums. We need to keep that. But I think we're doing a disservice to hip hop by not proving that all of this other sub genre does derive from hip hop.
Foxy Brown
Oh, it does.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
This is hip hop for sure.
Mall
Yeah. I'm not mad at that.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I'm not mad at all because I'm with you. When I heard Playboy Carti. Nah, this ain't. Come on, dog. It's not hip hop. But that's up because it all. He wasn't inspired by anything but hip hop to make that album. So hip hop still needs the credit on what Playboi Carti does and where it's spreading. All the pop stars steal from hip hop now. Now all this needs to be labeled under what it is inspired by. And that is rap and hip hop. So we need to. We need to have sub genres in that because come on, Playboy Cardi, look at the numbers he's doing. The. The impact. That's not just fake bot stream. Look what. Look the tickets he's selling. Pop has to not acknowledge that shit. He's a star is insane. To me.
Foxy Brown
He's a star.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Travis Scott. I don't think Travis Scott is a rapper, but to Say Travis Scott is not.
Foxy Brown
But Travis raps. He raps more than.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
For sure, for sure.
Foxy Brown
But I'm just saying Cardi is more music. It's more vibe. It's more for a live show. It's more of a DJ type of thing. Like it's like that. Like he'll give us some lyrics and some, you know, I guess bars and melodies here and there. But a lot of his shit is just energy and music.
Mall
Well, let's look at the. Let's look at the country side of the Grammys and the awards that they give out. Right. Because Rory has a point. So for country they have best traditional country album, best contemporary country album, best American roots album. Like best blue. Like there's a whole bunch of stuff.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Like it's. There's sub genres of hip hop now. So ironically with the Cuddy and Jim Jones debate and all that, I do remember when that song came out, that kind of being a debate amongst my friends of like Cudi is hip hop though. Definitely. And we would have arguments like, bro, this is not hip hop. Throwing in some R and B. Like, no, this at the end of the day, these are hip hop drum. This is. Cudi is not being inspired by anything but hip hop here. This is. This is from the tree of hip hop. This isn't from anything else. And I think that type of stuff needs to be. Be represented at. At the Grammys. I don't like Playboi Carti, but who. Who the am I? There's millions and millions and millions and millions of people that absolutely love that gentleman.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, I don't. I've never played, but I recognize the talent though. Yeah, I get it. I understand it. It's not for me.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I think it's an instrumental album.
Foxy Brown
Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I can't even tell when he's on it. But it.
Mall
Yeah, I agree with you when you put it like that. With a different. I don't say he needs to be take. Somebody needs to be taken out of best rap album and he needs to be put in there. I disagree with that. But I do agree that there does need to be a category. Yo, has people like that.
Foxy Brown
Has Vince Staples ever been nominated for Grammy?
Mall
Let's see.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I mean he's personal favorite Last four album run is probably my favorite from a solo artist.
Foxy Brown
That's why. That's why I just.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I was thinking about that Stables cannot miss when it comes.
Mall
No, he's never been nominated for a Grammy.
Foxy Brown
Wow.
Mall
Okay.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Which is nuts because the Vince Staples self titled album. I was one of the best that year, Ramona park broke my heart.
Foxy Brown
Like, Ramona park is a classic. That's a classic rap album.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah. I don't know how that stuff doesn't make it into the Grammys, but it's tough too. I actually do give some grace to the Grammy committee. You only have so many slots, and we're at the highest peak of artists that we've ever had. New artist every goddamn day. It's tough to narrow it down. But I think we're doing hip hop a disservice by not having subcategories.
Foxy Brown
I agree.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I don't even know how we got onto that entire.
Foxy Brown
I think you said something about Bieber.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And we just went, oh, are you. Oh, I'm sorry. I put my glass. Are you guys ready to give me my flowers?
Mall
Oh, here we go.
Foxy Brown
All right. What happened now?
Mall
Why did you even bring that up?
Foxy Brown
What happened?
Mall
He's.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
It wasn't even on my list.
Mall
The comments agree.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
When you're right, sometimes you just gotta be humble. Sometimes you just got to be. There's so many comments and let the comments speak for themselves.
Mall
A lot of the comments agree with him. So now he's on his high horse that he was right about Bieber being underrated because some of the comments agree with him.
Foxy Brown
I just think it's interesting. Even.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Even the higher ups hit me.
Foxy Brown
I. I just think. I just think it's interesting to, like, Champion for Bieber during Black History Month when his first single was One Less Lonely. One Less Lonely.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I'll take my glasses off.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, we forgot. You like to throw his first single on it. Like, you like to brush that to the side. We heard the first.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
No, it was Baby. Remember him? And Ludicrous in the bowling alley.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, no, I remember that. Yeah, I remember that one, too. But I remember one less long. Him and that guitar. Oh, man.
Mall
Still having a long, thriving career.
Foxy Brown
Man.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I don't excuse anything Justin Bieber did in that video even though he was a kid. How come no one has found out who was holding that camera and laughing?
Foxy Brown
It was Usher. Stop.
Mall
Don't put that. Don't put that out.
Foxy Brown
Usher was laughing because he knew he was on the way to the bank. He's like this little about to be a star. Yeah, peace.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Don't put me on camera laughing at that.
Foxy Brown
Oh, my God.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yo, I'm holding that camera. It's nuts.
Foxy Brown
That is crazy.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Was that his mom? Like, that was always kind of my thing. Like, this is a child that only knows what he's taught. Who's holding that camera and laughing.
Foxy Brown
I just told you.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
No. It sounds like a white lady is.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, yeah, I know. I should gotta. You can change his tone.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
He's just that talented.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, he can do everything.
Mall
Ma, I had a question for you.
Foxy Brown
Oh, you love my question. Do I?
Mall

Foxy Brown
What Matthew Stafford is doing statistically, bro, is crazy.

Mall

Narrator (Charlie’s Place segment)
Inside Charlie's Place, black and white people danced together. But not everyone was happy about it.
Mall
You saw the kkk. Yeah. They was dressed up in their uniforms.
Nav Green
The KKK set out to raid Charlie.
Mall
Take him away from here.
Foxy Brown
Charlie was an example of power. They had to crush him.

Mall
I had a question. I was having a conversation on my life and one of the fans or one of the listeners or viewers of my life said that they're tired of knowing so much about celebrities. Right? It was post Grammys they were talking about me too. You are?
Foxy Brown
Yes. I don't care to know about these artists like that. Just gimme good music.
Mall
Even like the, I thought like the accessibility made them a little bit more relatable. Do you think the relatability is whooping is like biting up in their ass now?
Foxy Brown
Well, it makes them more relatable, but I think people became too invested in artists personal lives and things like that. And then now if they don't give them personal information and share certain things, people start calling the artists weird because they're not sharing personal things. It's like, bro, I'm here to entertain and make music or whatever it is that I do. I'm not here to tell you my personal business, what my family has going on, things like that. And a lot of times people care about that more than the actual music. So I think that's when it became a problem when people just started to care too much. I always told I didn't know a lot about Big when I was in high school, Pac, I didn't know a lot about my favorite artists, but we still loved them the same, we still supported them, still listen to their music, you know, and now it's a thing where people want to see, you know, they want to know about everything that goes on in your home. Everything that goes on when you're not in the studio away from the camera, like. And I just think that that's a little weird. Like, why do you, why are you so invested in just because you purchased an album or you purchased a concert ticket, you feel like you should know everything about this human. This is a human at the end of the day, like nobody wants everybody to know everything about them or like personal business. Like who, who wants that? Like Some things should stay personal, private. It's just. It's just. It got. It just got weird because people started caring too much about everything other than, you know, the person's talent level.
Mall
But at the same time. I hear you. But at the same time, that also keeps you from supporting somebody who might not have the same values and morals as you. The more you know about somebody.
Foxy Brown
Oh, if we. Well, if we gonna have that conversation, there's a lot of this ketchup you niggas got in your fridge. Stop buying it. A lot of food that you. A supermarket you shop at, where you go get your coffee. If we gonna get into that, you cooking. You niggas ain't gonna be able to purchase anything if that's the. If you trying to figure out what nigga's morals is. And all of this is at. I can promise you now, you don't want to get into your favorite cup of coffee and who owns that and with where their morals are. So that's what I'm saying. You don't. Some things you just don't want to know. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's just like, okay, I get it. I'm with you. I don't want to support anybody that's a piece of. I don't want to support somebody that does, you know, people wrong and things like that. But at the end of the day, we all do. So I get it, though. I understand the thought of that. Yes, you don't want to support fucked up and pieces of shit, but if you start going down that list, it's going to be a lot of shit you have to stop supporting in your life. And I don't know if we are even able to do that, you know what I'm saying? Because some things we just need. No matter how you slice it, we need certain things to function. But I understand that you don't want to support somebody that's, you know, a bad person. And especially when it comes to entertainment and things that you pay for. Go to a concert and this person's a piece of shit, but we gotta cut our cut, our wins and losses. Like it's. It's a lot of people that's pieces of shit. But I do understand how some artists like to share personal things because, again, it brings their audience in a little closer. But when the audience starts caring about that too much and starts being too invested in that, I think that. That that's a problem. I do.
Mall
Do you think that there's some artists that are skating by purely off of their personal lives being entertaining. Like people wouldn't care about them if their personal life wasn't so entertaining. Like the music isn't enough to hold them up.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Oh, of course. I mean, that's. That's. Yeah, that's. I mean that's kind of the marketing plan period. Now is. Is lifestyle over the music.
Foxy Brown
But you know, it's funny because if you look at some of the biggest artists, I don't think you know much about the biggest artist. Do people really know that much about Beyonce?
Mall
You talking about the biggest artist now?
Foxy Brown
Yeah. I don't know if people know.
Mall
Well, Beyonce used to share a lot of herself with us. She's since stopped. She don't say anything. But there was. At one point we knew damn near everything about Beyonce because she had been famous for so long and so much of her growth had been documented.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Well, I mean, define know everything.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, like I like.
Mall
I mean, we knew. We find. So we don't. We never knew stuff about Beyonce in the moment. We always found out later. Right. There was a. A couple years would go by and we would find out certain shit because she would make her little vlogs or she was your concert footage or we had the book from Destiny's Child and like, you know, she's. When you're in the spotlight for that long since a kid, we know a lot about you.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Well, she's had a great balance of somebody that's been a star since they were a child of. Of keeping your private life's pretty much private and of that status is very difficult.
Mall
And also, she doesn't have. I don't want to say she doesn't have much of a private life. She doesn't really have much to hide, if that makes sense.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I hear what you guys are saying. I think it's not really an artist thing we're talking about. I just think it's kind of a reflection of how society changed because fans have always been very much into artists personal lives. Whether it was Britney Spears, like even before social, the social media boom, that was still a thing. But to the rest of the world, that wasn't our obsession. We know too much about the people we know. Like, I don't. I don't. I understand what you guys. I just don't think it's an artist thing because all of a sudden, like when Facebook hit, I'm seeing photos of people's kids that I only see once a year, we started learning more and more about people that we already know. Artists are just a reflection of that. Yeah, they just are in the same society that, that we're in. I know everyone's thought when Twitter started and like I, I know everyone's family members when I was follow them on Facebook. Like, very true. You just learn that society became such an over sharing on the lowest of lowest of level. Even if you got 10 followers, you're sharing all your thoughts to them. Yeah, I think artists are just a reflection of that. We. Have you ever just like caught a, a random viral tweet? That's a story. That's nuts. And then you go into the comments and you see people from that town that know all these people and now we're watching that. No one's a celebrity here. Yeah, we're just interested. We're just nosy now. Like, it just took what was already in the human DNA of being nosy and wanting the quote unquote tea. Of course it's going to skyrocket with a celebrity, but we doing that on the lowest of level. You don't think somebody sees a cousin post something. You ain't text your other cousin like, yo, you saw what you post and you can just share the post right to the.
Mall
Yo, right to the inbox.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
See that?
Foxy Brown
But I'm the opposite. Like, I don't really subscribe to none of that. Like, y', all, y' all put me on to a lot of that be going on. And I'm like, word. Like, I don't really care about that. Like, like, like I saw this girl on, on Instagram, she had like her birth, like on her timeline, like, she posted like her actual birth.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Didn't Jay and Erica do that? A couple people, they were live. They were live tweeting during it, which I thought was hilarious.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, no, like, I'm talking about like she was record like, you saw the baby coming out of her.
Mall
Yeah, people do.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
There's a part of the Internet that like, for that.
Foxy Brown
I think that that's crazy. I think that that's. I think that is absolutely crazy to share that on social media.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I do too. But I mean, I like watching it. Oh, well, I'm not going to watch.
Mall
I would hope not.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But I mean, in, in comparison to like the Israeli army live streaming killing people, like, I, I'm kind of fine if this is where we're at with social media. I'm fine if somebody wants to share their birth.
Foxy Brown
Like, I just think, I just think that's.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
There's no line anymore that is way.
Foxy Brown
Too personal of a moment and way.
Mall
Too, like, you be the same person over there, sitting in that chair, watching people get murked on your phone who.
Foxy Brown
Don'T watch get murdered.
Mall
You don't watch a lot of people get their ass whooped, smoked.
Foxy Brown
I mean, I watch World Star. Yeah. Get knocked out. I'm gonna watch that fighting outside.
Mall
But I've seen multiple people get killed on the Internet, like. Like in perfect view. Like.
Foxy Brown
Well, that's what we're always saying. If you're showing pictures of war, babies getting killed and all, that's just to get the message out to the world, like, this is what's happening in our country.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
You waited 30 seconds while a Walgreens ad started, and then you watch somebody get killed.
Mall
Yeah.
Foxy Brown
Yeah. I'm probably guilty of that. Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Where our society is.
Foxy Brown
But, I mean, that's like, again, that's. That's happening outside violence. I'm talking about a personal, intimate moment, like you giving birth. I don't think you should be sharing that with your timeline. I'm sorry, I just don't.
Mall
I think if you're comfortable with it, then do it. I wouldn't do it. I wouldn't be comfortable. But if you're comfortable with that, then do it. Like I said, I like watching it because I think that birth is very, very beautiful.
Foxy Brown
No, it is, but I think it's very intimate. I think that's for you and your family. I don't think that people that follow you who don't like you should be privy to that. I don't think that they should see that. Me personally, because there are people following you that don't like you, don't wish the best for you, don't give a fuck about you. Like. Like, they should not be allowed to share in that moment. I'm sorry. Like, that's. Keep that between your husband or your boyfriend, baby or whoever, your family, your mom. Keep that for them. Putting that on social media. Then I could send that to somebody that don't even follow you, and then that. I just think that that's too much.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I completely agree, because Key and I, we. We filmed, I should say our birth, which is politically correct, but no, her birth.
Foxy Brown
I didn't do.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I. That video. I wouldn't even show that to her mom. My mom, like, that's just. That's for her and I. Oh, not even an immediate family member or whatever. That's just for Kia. And I. I'm with you on that side, but I do also see the side. And not on the influencer type time, but if I had a. A human growing in my body, I'd be terrified, like, just nervous and anxious about what that process was. Like. Like, maybe it would bring some peace watching other births. Because you would have to be anxious about giving birth. No.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, for sure.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Being able to. To watch somebody have that happen, talk about it. It may bring some peace to me. If I could watch someone else go through that process, how I am. Like, I'd be like, no, I gotta see what. What's in store for me. It's like, yeah, so I do get it.
Mall
There's also places. There's also places you can go for that. Like, I was at one point, I was obsessed with, like, maternal mortality, where, like, because there were so many black women, there are still so many black women who die during childbirth. Like, it's abs. The numbers are absolutely insane. I did studies on it in school.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And so there's a great doc about it too.
Mall
Yeah, I was obsessed with stuff like that. So I was in a lot of Facebook groups about black women where they would share their home birthing, like, experience. So if you're posting in communities like that, I think that that's more okay, because that's more. Those are. Those people are there looking for that. Exactly. But if I'm just, like, scrolling on Instagram. Well, somebody else is scrolling on Instagram looking for ass, and then like, boom, baby.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
That's. Yes, that's nuts.
Mall
But I also think you could share it.
Foxy Brown
I don't.
Mall
I mean, I don't know. Like I said, whatever people are comfortable.
Foxy Brown
With, for sure, but we need to keep certain things private, I think. Let's get back to that. Like I said, I like the mystique and the mystery of certain celebrities. Like, I don't know what this person does on their personal time, which will incentivize me going on tour. I gotta go see them. Cause you don't get nothing from this person other than when they want to be seen. And they popping out on tour, album dropping. Those are the artists that I like. Cause it's like, okay, they're gonna give me through the music, through the art, they're gonna give me their life. And this, that, and the third, I don't want to see. Because then I might not like you.
Mall
Oh, yeah, you like, you be my.
Foxy Brown
Favorite artist, and then you.
Mall
You.
Foxy Brown
You post something on your Instagram, and I'm like, she's a clown. Or like, this nigga's corny. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's just sometimes it has that effect too, where it's like, all right, man. Like, I Don't even like this artist no more. Keep a certain mystique. I think it's a. It's a great balance to be accessible to an extent. You know, you want to interact with your audience and the people who support you, but you also want to keep a certain mystery about yourself. You want to keep a certain aura and a certain, like, yeah, but there's still so many things y' all don't know about me. I like that from an artist.
Mall
I think movie stars still do that. Like, movie stars do that very well.
Foxy Brown
Nikki Glazer, she said that at the. She said, leo, we don't know anything.
Mall
About you other than you like young girls.
Foxy Brown
Yeah. Like, and we've grown up. We've grown up watching you favorite movies and women. We don't know anything about you.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And Leo's like, he likes spaghetti. That's all we do.
Foxy Brown
And Leo sat there like, yeah, like, I don't share that shit. Like, come see my movie, though. And then I'll do a press run and this, that, and the third. Maybe I'll give certain little things about me on a press run that they ask questions, but that's it. You gotta keep a certain mystique about yourself. I think that it helps.
Mall
Do you think podcasters need to subscribe to that? Do you think we're able.
Foxy Brown
No.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
This gig is oversharing, but I feel like there's people.
Foxy Brown
But I don't overshare.
Mall
I was gonna say, not exactly. I feel like if you're talented enough, you don't have to.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Oh, no, no, no. By. But by society standards, Mall, you do overshare.
Foxy Brown
You think so?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
By podcast standards, you don't at all. But by society standards, yes, I. People know more about your personal life than they would the average person that they didn't know.
Foxy Brown
Okay.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Because the job is not to over share.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, yeah, okay, I get that.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Just by sheer data of how much you talk, eventually you're over sharing. By world standards.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, I get it. Okay. That makes sense.
Mall
No, I feel like I know more about people through social media than I know about Mall through. If you just listen to him podcast, does that make sense? Like, what do you. What if somebody was to say, yo, what do you know about Mall from podcasting? Like, what could they really tell you? People say all the time he's never been in a relationship. That's not true. But people don't know anything about his love life. They know about his past two jobs.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But you're talking about that check. Like, we. There's been real Intimate moments. Sharing about his brother, about his family. Like there's been real intimate. Just because you don't know about Mal's dating life doesn't mean he hasn't overshadow. I don't mean overshare in a bad way, but shared about his, his actual family and how he felt about certain tragedies like that. That's. That's oversharing by world standards, in my opinion.
Foxy Brown
Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Not everything is a gossipy relationship. Like, you knew I was this person or I was in a relationship for this long. Like, this is an intimate moment. We've all talked about our mothers, our fathers. Like, that's. Yeah, that's real intimate. He. He's said a lot of stuff about his pops that the, the a regular person wouldn't share with. With the world. Like, yeah, that, that to me, his relationship with his sister, like that stuff is. Is intimate to me.
Mall
True.
Foxy Brown
That makes sense.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
He'll never tell us who he's. I ask off mic every day.
Mall
Off mic every day. Want to know where another man Digby is Crazy.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But I mean, I guess to close it. Where do you draw the line though? Because I hear you guys, but we've had funerals are live streamed. Like we watched Nipsey Hussle in the Staples center funeral. Like, eventually Live Nation is going to start selling tickets to funerals. Like, but. But where's the line to draw?
Mall
I don't think that because funerals have always been. If live stream just means that it was on a computer. Funerals of famous people have always been available through tv. That's been for as long as I've.
Foxy Brown
Been alive at the Apollo. We saw his funeral.
Mall
Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
So when Houston's funeral fife with everything, like. No, I'm with you. I'm just saying that if funerals have always been even fair game, which should be one of the more intimate things, period. Like, why are we drawing the line on anything else? We're going to sell tickets to funerals soon.
Foxy Brown
But it's a little different. Like as far as lot because, you know, example, Whitney Houston, they sold T.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Shirts outside of the Staples center when Nipsey died. Like, what do I.
Mall
They sell T shirts outside of the Staples center when anything.
Foxy Brown
But that wasn't like, that wasn't official though. Those were just hustle.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
No, no, no, no. I'm not saying from, from Nipsey. I'm just saying how, how much people take intimate moments and make it so much of a spectacle and monetize everything. Absolutely. Yeah.
Foxy Brown
But I understand them live streaming like Whitney Houston's funeral. We all supported Whitney, loved her. We was all hurt by that. We all kind of. We couldn't be there physically, but we all kind of wanted to, you know, just share in that moment with the family and pay our respects.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
So I want to make it clear. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that. I was extremely happy that they gave Nipsey the platform after he passed that he deserved in the Staples center so everyone could mourn and love him. That has been, like, affected by this whole thing. I'm just saying, if funerals are fair game for that type of stuff, anything is, in my opinion.
Foxy Brown
Speaking of oversharing, do y' all think that it was wrong for Tracy Morgan to kind of, like. I don't know if y' all saw. Did y' all see the clip I saw? Yeah, he bumped into. But a lot of people don't know. He knew that guy. That other guy was a.
Mall
Said he bullied him, Right?
Foxy Brown
He was a comedian. They were both comedians coming up in the city, and they obviously had some interaction when they were both younger, coming up on the comedy scene that Tracy Morgan didn't forget about. And in that moment, Tracy Morgan's coming out of the Garden, leaving a nick game, and he sees the guy, and Tracy says, oh, I remember you. Whatever, whatever. And he said, don't act like I owe you something, Mr. Tracy Morgan. Something like that. Don't act like. Don't talk to me like I owe you something. And the dude was like, well, yo, I'm homeless. Like, you know, I'm saying, like Tracy said, I didn't do that. A lot of people thought that.
Mall
That.
Foxy Brown
That was a little insensitive. It was a little much, Tracy. Not to go that far. Y' all know I subscribe to.
Mall
He better than me. I'd have been like, moment. He would have said, yo, I'm homeless. I'd say, yeah, God, don't play about me, and walked away. I'm not. I don't give a fuck. You cross once you cross me, baby.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Whatever.
Mall
God, however. God punish you for that. I don't have nothing for you. I'm walking past your cast, your casket, sarcastic. I don't care.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Look at him still sleeping.
Mall
I don't. I don't care.
Foxy Brown
You subscribe to that, too?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah.
Foxy Brown
Me too. You.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
For. I'm trying to be. I'm trying to be better about that.
Foxy Brown
I'm not. I'm not working on that part of my life.
Mall
You know why? Because I'm like, I don't Most people can't say this, but I know I can. I'm a thorough nigga. I'm a real nigga.
Foxy Brown
It depends on what they did.
Mall
I'm a good person.
Foxy Brown
It depends on what they did.
Mall
You crossed me. If you crossed me, you were wrong. There's very few people that I.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But I'm also like, I knew he was joking around, but like, I'm not that vain or that arrogant that I think God has punished this person to not have a home because they bullied me at one point. I think that person probably just made some decisions that were wrong as well as bullying me. But I don't look at it that way. But I don't owe you any fucking help.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, I'm gonna laugh a little bit.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah, no, I'm definitely gonna laugh.
Foxy Brown
I'm gonna laugh a little bit if you did some fucked up shit to me and we bump into each other 20, 30 years down the line, and I'm just coming out of the Garden, leaving courtside seats at a Nick the Garden begging for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Mall
Sorry.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, I'm gonna laugh at you. I'm like, yo, get your dusty ass out of here. You stink. I'm not. Yeah, I'm him. I'm sorry. Actually, I'm not. If somebody. If some. Only again, only if somebody did some really foul to me at some point in life.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I mean, I think, like, Michael B. Jordan handled a situation like that. And shout out to l' Oreal. I with l', Oreal, heavy friend of the show, but they went to high school together. And I don't know the real story. We didn't go to high school together, but she was on the red carpet. Michael B. Jordan came up.
Foxy Brown
He was a gentleman about it, though. Cause he could have walked away and not did the interview. He just let her know, like, yeah, I remember you. You know what I'm saying? It's still like, yo, I didn't forget that. But now look at. Now you want to talk to me now? Coming up, the red car. You want this interview. Cause you gonna be lit. You know what I'm saying? Just sometimes life will just show you. Like, okay, he was just letting Loreal know I remembered you. I didn't forget. I heard what you said.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But also, like, where. Where the healing process, where I say I'm trying to change on some of that with the Tracy Morgan situation or with Michael B. Jordan. You also have to be self aware enough that you went to high school named Michael Jordan. You didn't think people were Gonna, like kids weren't gonna make jokes. You wanted to be an actor again? No, but it was like they were.
Foxy Brown
Saying it was corny. It was things like that. Like.
Mall
But that's high school student, though.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, of course.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But I. I'm not saying he. He owes her a sit down. He can walk right past. Everything he did was fine. But I also am on the side of, like, we do need to give kids. I did a lot of shit I'm not proud of as a kid. I was awesome. Follow the leader type shit. Sometimes bullying people like kids, sometimes we just don't know what we're doing.
Foxy Brown
Yeah. Kids is different. Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I'm not even peer pressure per se, but yeah, there's things I did as a kid that I'm not proud of. And if I saw that person, I probably, you know, give some gray. We were kids, man. Yeah, but I'm sorry, but I was.
Foxy Brown
A kid too, and I wasn't doing that.
Mall
Yep.
Foxy Brown
I wasn't. I wasn't, you know, I mean, I wasn't the bully. I wasn't like, you know, like last kids that either.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I'm looking at everybody.
Mall
Everybody didn't have your family structure, Mom.
Foxy Brown
No, I understand that. So. Which is why it's cool. Like, I'll still do the interview, but I'm gonna let you know, like, oh, yeah, I remember you in high school.
Mall
Yeah.
Foxy Brown
You was calling me corny and all this. Yeah, I remember. I'm not gonna walk away and not give you the interview because it's not. I'm not, you know, I'm not petty about it. I'm not upset about it. I'm gonna let you know that I didn't forget, though. You know what I'm saying? That's what we told Michael B.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Handled it perfect.
Foxy Brown
Yeah. Tracy Morgan's situation was a little different. Whatever happened between him and homie, Tracy Morgan is never letting that go. Like, whatever that dude did, Tracy Morgan is making it clear, like, yo, I didn't do that to you. You know what I'm saying? And nah, I don't got no change for you. I can't help you out. Nah, I'm cool. I understand that. And people shouldn't expect Tracy Morgan to handle. Nah, you could have, because I see people. Nah, Tracy could have gave him something, though. What? Or he didn't have to.
Mall
He didn't have to.
Foxy Brown
It's that part of it too. And he didn't have to. Like, he's on the right. He can do whatever he wants to do. I can either help this dude out, even though he did some wax shit to me when we were both coming up. When we both young comics coming up in New York City or. Now that my life is. I'm at where I'm at and he's, you know, down on his luck, I don't have to be there to help him.
Mall
I'm not obligated to give money to bums who didn't do fucked up shit to me. I'm not obligated to give money to people in my life that I love who didn't do fucked up shit. I'm not obligated to give shit to nobody. So for you to have the audacity, oh, you could have gave him something. Why do other people always try to hand out other people money?
Foxy Brown
You go to give him some money. They love doing that. They love spending your money. Now, you could have. And then here's the crazier part about that whole thing. Tracy Morgan could have gave him $100 bill out his pocket. Somebody like, that's all he gave him. That's why you can't even fall into that because what's enough. Tracy's supposed to buy this nigga a house, you know what I'm saying? Like, yo, he could have. He could have moved him in. What?
Mall
Move that nigga in your crib?
Foxy Brown
Yeah, like, you got, you got. Eric Adams was asking us to do during COVID yo, if you have room, the migrants. You gonna move a migrant in, we'll.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Pay you that Walmart truck hit me, not you.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, like, what are you talking about? Like, nah, I'm not doing. But that's what I'm saying. You have to be careful. Because in Tracy Morgan's position, even if he pulled money out of his pocket and gave him homie something, it would have been people still saying, yo, that's all he gave him.
Mall
You can't win for losing.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, you can't. You can't, man. So, I mean, I understand it. You do me dirty on the come up and, you know, I become successful and I'm lit and I see you years later, you down on your luck, bruh. I ain't got nothing for you.
Mall
And whether even if you don't know that, I know that you did some fucked up shit. Like, there's some people back in my hometown that I had some had shit to say. The marriage thinks she all that. The Marist thinks she this, think she that. I hear about shit like that, and then when I go to town, I don't speak. It's like, see I was right. It's like, nah, I heard what you said.
Foxy Brown
You can blow dick.
Mall
I don't gotta let you know that. I know what you said. You just blow dick in silence.
Foxy Brown
Send them my way. They can blow mine. So we.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But yeah, no, I, I, I say all that healthy to say that. No, I'm, I'm telling you to suck dick. I'm not.
Foxy Brown
It's healthy.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I'm not healed.
Foxy Brown
It's healthy. Which every day, I think somebody. We should all be able to yell outside, suck my dick at some point every day. I think that will relieve a lot of stress.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I agree with the entitlement and arrogance bothers me even more. That's what really boils my blood. Is somebody coming back? Like, do you not remember what the you did to me?
Foxy Brown
Yeah, man, I can't wait.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Are you out your mind?
Foxy Brown

Mall

Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
What would be your. What would be your next reunion? Not to try to age you. Max. Me gonna be.
Mall
There.
Foxy Brown
Would be plus one in three.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Years, which would be how many years?
Foxy Brown
20, 29, 30 years.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I'm 2008.
Foxy Brown
I was in high school 30 years ago.
Mall
God damn.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
20, 26, minus 2008.
Foxy Brown
I got all my. I got all my hair on my teeth, though, baby. Do you hear me?
Mall
And they said. They said it still get up.
Foxy Brown
Oh, my. Who said that, baby? Dude, who's they?
Mall
You want me to tell your business?
Foxy Brown
No, no, no.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
But who.
Foxy Brown
Whose day. Who said it's still.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
He has to overshare like a celebrity.
Mall
They said that.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I'm two years away from my 20th. 18 this year.
Foxy Brown
When yours.
Mall
Baby D. My 10th just passed. Y' all old.
Foxy Brown
Okay, so 10.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
We ain't but 23 years away from each other.
Foxy Brown
30. How if her temp just passed and your 20th is coming up?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
She's lying.
Mall
I've been out of high school for. It'll be 15 years this year.
Foxy Brown
Okay, yeah, that's a good number. 15 year anniversary.
Mall
And that's because I graduated a year early. So it would have been 14 years this. This year.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
So.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, damn. I drove past my high school the other day. Yeah, yeah. It's close to my barbershop. And I was just laughing like, damn, Neighborhood changed, boy. When I was in school, dog, that neighborhood, yo, I used To. Yo, y' all don't understand. I literally had to step over, like, sleeping heroin addicts. Like, y' all don't.
Mall
It's now they awake.
Foxy Brown
It's crazy. No, it's like Brownstone. It's beautiful now. Like, the Cosbys live on that strip. I'm like, this is beautiful. Gentrification. I love it. Bring them in. They jogging in the morning down the block. I'm like, they was never doing this in 98. Are you crazy?
Mall
I got invited to speak out of high school for Career Day.
Foxy Brown
To speak out of high school. Now I'm going.
Mall
Well, they wanted you guys to go, but y' all are a hard ticket to get.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
So where is it you think we would high school? Like, it's in Syracuse.
Mall
Inexpensive. I just mean, like, time wise. It's in Brooklyn.
Foxy Brown
In Brooklyn.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I'm going. Yeah, I'd do that.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, I'm going.
Nav Green
I'm okay.
Mall
If y' all are really down, I'll put y' all in touch. But I don't want the y' all to say y' all going in.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Y' all know I've done that with. With college stuff. I just don't like, like, promote it or talk.
Foxy Brown
All right, hold on, hold on, cuz. This is a very important question. What kind of high school is this? Is this a public high school?
Mall
I think so.
Foxy Brown
I ain't going. Them is disrespectful. M them little public school y' all send me.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
I. I will say I. I did a high school thing with me and Cam did something back when the Palooza days at the high school Vince Staples went to in Long Beach.
Foxy Brown
Okay.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Cam's now wife was a teacher there. And we did. We did a whole presentation of how you can start events and everything. I was petrified being in North Long Beach. I was like, these kids not going. Like, they gonna kill us up there. Like, we talking about something that I don't even think they interested in. Yeah, they were the coolest fucking kids ever. Super inquisitive. Like, we. We kicked it way longer than we should have been there. Like, listen, man, the youth isn't as bad as we think they are. I promise.
Foxy Brown
Here in Brooklyn.
Mall
Oh, it's not high school. It's kindergarten.
Foxy Brown
Long Beach.
Mall
It's kindergarten through fourth grade.
Foxy Brown
I'm there. I with the kindergartners. Don't sit me in front of no in 11th and 12th grade, though. Them niggas swear they know it all.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
What are you telling fourth graders about Career Day? Huh? Fourth graders?
Mall
Yeah, that's when you.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
No, I think it's early. But are they going to be focused?
Mall
I don't think that's. But yeah, you start figuring out what you want to do with your life, like, and, like, get the out.
Narrator (Charlie’s Place segment)
No.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Are y' all gonna.
Mall
Y' all are not. Are y' all not gonna listen to me?
Foxy Brown
I'm so good. Y' all don't remember being.
Mall
Y' all don't remember being kids when you were a kid?
Foxy Brown
Okay, I don't remember nothing. In kindergarten when you were a kid.
Mall
People asked you all the time what you wanted to be. I remember what I wanted to be when I was.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And what I wanted. Cowboy.
Foxy Brown
A ninja. I said, I want to be a ninja. I was like 7 years old. Like, I don't know about anything else. Ninja. That's what I gave him. A kindergarten. I want to be a ninja.
Mall
Really?
Foxy Brown
Yes.
Mall
Okay.
Foxy Brown
What do you ask a kindergartner? What do you think they gonna say? Well, I would love to study law at Harvard.
Mall
And no, but they. Some of them just say doctor, some say lawyer.
Foxy Brown
They don't give you that. The. The veterinarian, Firefighter.
Mall
I wanted to be a pediatrician when I was. And then it switched to psychology, and that followed me up until college. Like, these things do stick with kids.
Foxy Brown
But they ask you what you want to be in kindergarten for. Sure.
Mall
Yeah. I do think at an early age, they say kindergarten through fourth grade. I do think at an early age, kids should be introduced to other avenues. Like, you think these kids don't know what content creators are and podcasters are?
Keith Urban (mentioned), Narrator
Oh, no.
Mall
Now they definitely fourth grade. They definitely.
Foxy Brown
They definitely do now.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
So third and fourth.
Foxy Brown
I don't know if they know if It's a content 30.
Mall
Fourth grade is not that.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
How old is fourth grade?
Mall
Reason fourth grade is eight, I think.
Foxy Brown
Yeah.
Mall
Nine. Nine. Nine. A nine year old is not that young.
Foxy Brown
No, no, I agree.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
That's why I was asking my nephew.
Foxy Brown
He's definitely.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Yeah, yeah, he knows. Definitely watching the content creators.
Foxy Brown
Like, he wants his own PC now.
Mall
Like, he wants starting YouTubes at. At 6, 7 years old. Their parents are starting YouTube. Like this is. It's not too early.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Not even close. And even before my barber, my whole life moved down North Carolina, he's come to my house and I had our. Our YouTube the. The plaque up. And he brought his son that was probably in fifth, fifth or sixth grade. And he was like, looking at that like it was. God, like it was a green. He was like. He was like, yo, dad, he's a YouTuber and my barber looking like, what the. What that mean? Like, why is my son acting like this?
Foxy Brown
I'll do that though. I'm down to do that. I'm down to talk to some kids.
Mall
Okay, well, let me know that I have the date. I'll tell you what the date is, but yeah, I'm gonna go. I'm excited.
Foxy Brown
Yeah, that's fun.
Mall
I do want to start mentoring young girls.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
What we also could do with their parents permission, not anything that we would put out, but we could do like, we could bring mics and like do an episode with them that they could keep. Yeah, that could be kind of cool. Like put two kids just bring the mics in, one camera.
Mall
That would be cute. Yeah.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
And they could do their own. That. That I think would be.
Foxy Brown
We gotta. But we gotta ask the hard hitting questions, though.
Mall
What's the hard hit?
Foxy Brown
We gotta ask kindergartners how they feel.
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Apple juice or orange juice?
Foxy Brown
Palestine or Israel?
Guest Host / Co-host (possibly Rory)
Depends which Brooklyn school it is.
Foxy Brown
Yo, we talk to y' all soon. Be safe, be blessed. I'm that he's just ginger. Peace.
