Hey family, this Sunday is Fathers Day, when we get the opportunity to celebrate the ultimate Father in our lives. For those of us who have earthly fathers that we struggle with, we look to the heavenly Father to be comforted. We also look to Him to teach us how to father the children in our lives. In either circumstance, we will find comfort, direction, and joy. Join us at 10 a.m. at 360 Schermerhorn St. Kids' Church starts at 10 a.m. as well. Bring your family! --Edwin

Hey family--In a world flooded with opinions, headlines, hot takes, “my truth,” and endless noise… how do we know what’s real anymore? This week we’re walking through one of the most powerful prayers in all of scripture — spoken by Jesus on the night before the cross. In it, He speaks about truth, deception, unity, endurance, and the battle for the human heart. Join us at 10 a.m. Sunday at 360 Schermerhorn St., and bring a friend. Kids' Church starts at 10 a.m. as well. --Edwin

Kingdom Prayer Hey family, we each have people we love in our lives--spouses, children, relatives, friends--who we know would benefit greatly from a relationship with Jesus. But we don't know how to introduce them. Or we don't know how we can help them experience the shame-ending, guilt-freeing, ever-present love of Christ. Many of us know the regret of wishing we had shared the gospel with someone. This Sunday we're going to talk about how we can help to lead others to Christ. So please join us! We meet at 10 a.m. at 360 Schermerhorn St., and kids 4-12 attend Kids' Church at the same time. I look forward to seeing you there. --Edwin ANNOUNCEMENT: A New Life in Christ class begins this Sunday after service for three weeks. Class leads to baptism and membership.See Betsy Mitchell for more information.

Hey family, Mothers Day is the perfect opportunity to be grateful for all those mothers, grandmothers, and other ladies who prayed for us and watched over us as we grew. If you are blessed to still have your Mom with you, please bring her to service. We would love to celebrate her on this occasion. There will be a special luncheon after service, and each mother will receive a gift. We meet at 10 a.m. at 360 Schermerhorn St., and Kids' Church starts at 10 a.m. also. I very much hope to see you there! --Edwin Announcements: * A New Life in Christ class, leads to baptism and membership. 3 weeks beginning June 24, immediately after service.

Hey family, some of us walk around carrying things we wish we could undo. Words we said. Choices we made. Patterns we can't seem to break. Psalm 51 is for moments like that. It's a reminder that God doesn't turn away from broken people--He moves toward them. He restores. He renews. He gives us a fresh start from the inside out. If you've ever needed a reset, this message is for you. Join us at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Next Step Community Church, 360 Schermerhorn St.. Kids ages 5-12 are invited to attend Kids' Church at the same time. --Edwin Announcements: Saturday night service, May 2--To avoid the 5-Boro Bike Tour on Sunday, May 3, we'll be gathering the night before instead! Doors open at 5:30, service begins at 6. Stay and enjoy a meal afterwards. A New Life in Christ class, 3 weeks starting May 17--Leads to baptism and membership. Hey family, have you ever created a gratitude list? It's a list of all the things you are grateful for at any given moment. On a beautiful spring day, it's easy to do. We are grateful for sunshine, flowers, being able to go outside for a walk, the promise of summer coming. But even on gray and chilly days, God gives us plenty to be grateful for. The fact that he woke us up this morning. That we have clothing on our backs. That he's given us a church family who's waiting to see us tomorrow. Please join us at 360 Schermerhorn St. at 10 a.m. Sunday. Children ages 5-12 are welcome to our Kids' Church, which also starts at 10. I look forward to seeing you! --Edwin A New Life in Christ class--Starts Sunday, May 24, after service. Leads to baptism and membership. See Pastor Chris to sign up.

Join us this Sunday Hey family, last week was incredible--Good Friday and Easter Sunday, packed house, and such a beautiful time together. This week, I'm looking forward to gathering again as we open the Scriptures and lean into what God wants to say to us. We meet at 10 a.m. at 360 Schermerhorn St. in downtown Brooklyn. Our kids' church also meets at 10 for kids ages 5-12. Don't miss it! Can't wait to see you. --Edwin ANNOUNCEMENTS: * A New Life in Christ class--3 weeks, leads to baptism and membership. Starts Sunday, May 3, immediately after service.

You don't have to walk this alone. Hey family, what if church wasn’t just a service, but a place of real connection? What if needs were noticed? What if prayer was normal? What if people stayed after the service because relationships actually mattered? So many of us are surrounded by people yet still long to be seen, heard, and understood. The good news is that God’s design for the church was never intended to be a weekly event; it was always meant to be a community. This Sunday, Pastor Chris will speak honestly about loneliness and the kind of church God designed from the very beginning. If you have been feeling disconnected, overlooked, or unseen, we invite you to join us. We meet at 10 a.m. at 360 Schermerhorn St., and Kids' Church starts at 10 a.m. as well. --Edwin ANNOUNCEMENTS: Palm Sunday, March 28, 10 a.m. Good Friday, April 3--Doors open 5:30 p.m., service 6 p.m., dinner to follow Easter Sunday, April 5, 10 a.m.
