Andrew
Cool.
Brittany
Watch this or listen.
Cameron
Yes.
Derek
I had no idea that they were dinosaurs.
Cameron
It kind of scares me that you would have loved these Portugal fans that we had in the office the other day. You would have loved them and their house. Did you show her her house? The. The. No, I mean her Instagram.
Andrew
Oh, yeah.
Cameron
She tagged us and I. I was. I showed Kelsey her their Harry Potter theme. It was insane. They're so loaded.
Brittany
But microphone.
Derek
Hey. Hey.
Brittany
I'm so hungry. We've been running around all day. Josh drops this on me afterward. He's like, if we didn't have kids, I probably would have invited them over for dinner. What do the kids have to do with it?
Cameron
Yeah, I thought about that too. I was like, we probably. It would have been cool to go out to dinner. I don't know. We probably should have just gone out to eat with them.
Andrew
How. How disappointed do you think they were in visiting Tavares as a Portuguese city only to arrive at Dunkin Donuts?
Cameron
Yeah, they're like, our house is right by Dunkin Donuts.
Andrew
I felt so bad when I heard that. Like, you're coming from Portugal.
Cameron
It sounds pretty. The food sounds incredible. He says, like, he's like, the food's insane. Portuguese Lily has sat up.
Brittany
I had to get my headphones. You guys put it all the way over there.
Cameron
Translating.
Brittany
Wow. I bought some very expensive steak.
Derek
Oh, really expensive?
Andrew
Tell me more.
Brittany
You told me to get ribeye.
Cameron
Yeah, from Publix.
Brittany
You really wanted me to, though.
Cameron
Yeah, Publix is always cheaper. I mean, it's more expensive than anything.
Brittany
Yeah, but at least you're not eating something that was engineered in a laboratory.
Cameron
Yeah, but even Aldi has great steaks.
Andrew
Has it been good recently?
Cameron
I love them. I Get even. Like the cheap three pack.
Derek
Yeah. Yeah.
Cameron
Awesome.
Andrew
The last three times I got steak from Aldi, I had to bring it back because it had spoiled in its packaging.
Cameron
Yeah. That sucks.
Andrew
Yeah.
Cameron
Gosh. Yeah.
Andrew
I mean, I literally didn't.
Derek
It.
Brittany
That's why he stopped eating it.
Derek
He didn't. I don't know. I'll be back. Give me some. It wasn't from Aldi. It was from his marketplace in Winter Garden. And it was lamb barf.
Cameron
Yum.
Derek
And it went bad.
Cameron
Bad.
Brittany
Are you familiar with the phenomenon that occurs when you cook lamb in your house? Some dogs think you're cooking a dog and they'll freak out. It happened. Tyler was cooking lamb. When Josh and I were dating, Tyler would do these. It wasn't for us. It was like, I think for his friends. We'd always jump in on it.
Cameron
Friends.
Brittany
Where is Ramsia? True. I guess.
Andrew
Maybe.
Brittany
But he would do these, like, extravagant dinners where he would cook something. And he's a fantastic cook, as you guys know. And one time he was cooking lamb in the oven and Leo was going crazy at the oven.
Derek
Like, he was peeing in the house and growling and just. It was like he had, like, rabies or something.
Cameron
Weird.
Derek
But it was only when he came inside.
Cameron
Did you guys test it the second time, too?
Derek
Yeah, it was the next day.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
And, like, I don't know what's going on. And he's like, whatever, if it's the lamb. And so he opened the box of leftovers and Leah flipped out.
Andrew
That's weird that they know.
Cameron
Super strange. Wonder if lambs are dogs. Maybe sheep dogs.
Derek
The Lamb of God. The Lamb of.
Cameron
Backwards. Lamb of God.
Derek
Dog of Lamb.
Cameron
Oh, my goodness. Guys, stop eating lamb.
Brittany
Do you think Leo's a Christian? Yeah, he is.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
The dog.
Brittany
Yeah.
Cameron
Yeah, I think so.
Derek
What religion is Pico?
Cameron
She was Presbyterian, but she's. Right now she's. I don't know. She's kind of a weird Methodist. We didn't give Dutch phase.
Derek
Did we give Dutch a. Frank is a Catholic. He's a. Yeah, a altar boy.
Cameron
I could see that.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
Why he's lost in the woods when you found him.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
Giving your pets certain religions is super fun.
Brittany
I think that Dutch would be Mormon because he is such an evangelist.
Cameron
He's always knocking on the door trying to get in any.
Andrew
He is.
Cameron
Yeah. That makes sense. Maybe Pico's got some Mormon in her.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
She's always scratching at the door.
Brittany
She's Spanish Catholic.
Cameron
Possibly.
Andrew
See?
Cameron
Possibly. Yeah. She does cuss a lot. Catholics do cuss a lot. So.
Andrew
Yeah.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
Speaking of Catholic, you want a song?
Brittany
Oh, yeah.
Cameron
Speaking of the Catholicism.
Derek
Speaking of Catholicism.
Cameron
I don't get it. Why we have, like, words Catholic and then you. Whenever it's like the ism, you have to pronounce the Catholic part different. Cathol. Like, it's not Catholicism, dude.
Derek
Yeah. English languages. Makes me so mad.
Brittany
It's so hard teaching your children it because you're like, you know, oh, is sometimes O and all. And they're like. When I'm like, oh, gosh.
Cameron
Who knows?
Brittany
I have no idea.
Andrew
You'll figure it out.
Cameron
Don't ask me. Asking me for go to school song, please.
Derek
This one will probably get flagged, but.
Cameron
Happy Father's Day.
Derek
Happy Father's Day.
Brittany
Happy Father. Was I supposed to do something?
Andrew
Yep.
Cameron
Thanks for the gifts. Appreciate it.
Brittany
Oh, boy.
Derek
Thanks for nothing. Go. Stacy's dad is up to something bad. Stacy's dad is up to something bad. Stacy's dad is up to something bad. Stacy's dad is up to something bad.
Cameron
Stacy, can you come over after school?
Derek
Oo oo oo oo after school.
Cameron
We can hang around at my place, if that's cool.
Derek
If that's cool. Did your dad get back from that business trip? Business trip?
Cameron
Cause if he is, I bet he.
Derek
Flew on a spaceship. A spaceship? You know, he's not the perfect dad.
Cameron
Like he acts to be.
Derek
I'm pretty sure he's an alien from another galaxy. Stacy's dad is from outer space. He's only here to kill the human race. Stacy, can't you see your dead skin is awfully green. He's gonna peel our face. Cause Stacy's dad's from outer space. Stacy's dad is from outer space. Stacy's dad is from outer space. Stacy's dad is from outer space. Stacy's dad is gonna peel our face.
Brittany
Wow. That was great. That was great. Golly was just thinking about how scared I was of the face peelers.
Derek
I was thinking about how amazing that song was.
Brittany
That was very good.
Cameron
I was thinking about how great Father's Day is.
Derek
I was thinking about how. Man, I'm really happy to be dad.
Cameron
Dude, you're a great dad. You're going to be a great dad.
Derek
You're a great dad, too. Andre is going to be a great dad.
Cameron
He's going to be the best.
Derek
Going to teach him all about the woods.
Cameron
You're over here.
Andrew
You're over here. Wow.
Cameron
Oh, it's a Father's Day. I didn't realize. I thought we got Rid of that.
Brittany
You guys are great dads.
Derek
Yeah. Okay. Speaking of dads, we got a question.
Cameron
Mm.
Derek
Literally speaking of dads. Daddies, Papas, abbas, padres, fasha, papo, shisho. It's not funny. It was really not. Because I wish we could have fun with this, but I just. It's. It stinks in today's society of what's happening to fathers, 100%. It just really stinks. So today's question. I don't know, it's sent in by a viewer. Do fathers deserve better? Lil, what do you think? As a non father, do you think fathers deserve better?
Brittany
Oh, yeah. We could all do better.
Derek
I'm gonna throw up. I'm gonna throw up.
Cameron
Don't throw up, man. I know it's gonna be really hard, but please don't throw up.
Derek
Are you kidding me? You're kidding, right?
Brittany
What if I had said no?
Derek
You're kidding, right?
Brittany
What if I had said no?
Derek
But you didn't. I'm sorry, but you didn't.
Cameron
You can't just go back now. You said what you said.
Derek
What do you mean?
Cameron
Tell us what you mean.
Brittany
We can always do better.
Derek
A better chance of dying.
Brittany
No.
Derek
So fathers deserve a better chance of dying, of leaving. Fathers deserve a better chance of not having their families. Their families getting taken away. They deserve a better chance than that. He talking about what?
Cameron
That's really the question, Lily. Literally the question. You said yes.
Derek
Yes. You literally said yes.
Brittany
Those words were said before I answered.
Derek
Your attitude needs to change, girl. Missy, hello.
Brittany
Your phrasing needs to change, sir.
Cameron
You ever heard of context clues, Lil?
Brittany
There were none.
Derek
There was plenty. There's plenty. Oh, my gosh. Why are you laughing?
Brittany
Because of the way you said it.
Derek
No, I'm sorry.
Cameron
She's just happy that her plan is all coming together. You know what? Fathers, Less of them. That's what we want.
Derek
I guess. I guess mean you should die. Oh.
Cameron
Yep, looks like.
Derek
Hey, if you're a dad out there, Lee thinks you should die. You should just perish.
Brittany
Dads are the best.
Cameron
These are all the fathers passing away. This is Lily.
Brittany
Yay.
Derek
And you probably think all the fathers that abandoned their families, they deserve the best life, huh?
Cameron
Probably.
Derek
That's if I'm reading between the lines.
Cameron
Oh, you're reading them.
Derek
That's exactly what you said.
Brittany
No, if you're hearing this and you abandon your family, go home. Go home to them.
Derek
What if their family.
Cameron
Go. Go home.
Derek
What the.
Cameron
Like, heaven?
Brittany
No, you guys.
Derek
You guys, our home is in heaven.
Cameron
Yeah. Lil, this is not my home. This is not where I belong.
Derek
You check yourself. You need to check yourself right now, missy.
Brittany
Wrap it up.
Derek
Yeah, I will, as soon as we.
Cameron
Start talking about dads. Yeah, let's wrap it up. On to the next thing. Talk about terrorism. I'm tired of talking about these dads.
Derek
Yeah. That's literally what you've been got. Well, I guess you guys heard here first. Sorry, dads. Sorry, Andy.
Cameron
It's okay. I'll get over it. But I die.
Derek
I guess Lily thinks we all should die.
Brittany
No.
Derek
She doesn't care about us. She doesn't care about Father's Day. She didn't care about our Father's Day song.
Cameron
Long live Moms.
Derek
Long live Moms. Moms are the best.
Cameron
We would never say that about moms.
Derek
We would never, never.
Cameron
We would never do that one.
Andrew
Get to the show.
Derek
Did I say ninja? I meant butterfly. The butterfly is, no doubt, one of God's most.
Cameron
Empty your mind. You were martial arts.
Brittany
Gosh. Okay, should I throw this or. If it. If it's bladders, it'll be catastrophic. Just catch.
Andrew
Oh, my.
Brittany
Oh, close 50%.
Cameron
You need to do voiceover acting, Lily. It's just some guy gets shot. Oh, we need to use Lily's voice for the Camp rules video where I get shot. Take one of hers and deepen it down.
Derek
Oh, hey, good news, guys. Emma Roberts is following us on Instagram.
Cameron
She's in from Harry Potter, right?
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
Yep.
Brittany
I love Emma Roberts.
Cameron
Emma Roberts is following us. And Queen Latifah liked one of our reels a couple weeks ago.
Brittany
What's your favorite Queen Latifah thing ever? I'll go first. Secret Life of Beast. It's my favorite book ever. And she acted in the movie.
Cameron
Oh, I didn't. I don't know about that one. I would say Last Holiday is what I think of when I think of Queen Latifah.
Brittany
Nice.
Cameron
Also, what is the one with her and Steve Martin?
Derek
The crown.
Cameron
The crown. Yeah. That's what she was. The queen. Yeah. Yeah. People kind of like that's the weird casting, but I think she pulled it off great.
Derek
I think so.
Cameron
Yeah. A lot of energy for a queen.
Derek
What is. Where does she say, I'm Queen Latifah and I'm a whole lot of woman?
Brittany
That's not her.
Derek
Is it not.
Brittany
It's Beyonce from Austin Powers.
Derek
Oh, yeah.
Cameron
I'm queen with you now. Oh, no, no. It's the.
Brittany
It's a guy. He says, I'm Cleopatra and I'm a whole lot of women.
Derek
That's Right. That was close.
Brittany
He's the guy voicing her.
Cameron
Queen Latifah. Queen. Queen Cleopatra.
Derek
Same day. That's close, guys. Come on.
Cameron
It's true. That's a big deal, dude. What else? Wasn't there something else that happened? No, but we got number 14 comedy podcast in the nation.
Andrew
We hung on to it a little bit, too.
Cameron
So stinking. Cool.
Derek
Very neat. Very cool.
Cameron
Thank you, guys.
Derek
Yeah, thanks. That's all to you guys.
Cameron
Heck, yeah, dude. And the wizards.
Derek
Yeah. What else? What else has happened?
Cameron
I don't think so. We did just book another day for our tour.
Derek
Oh, yeah. Jacksonville. October 2nd. Baby. Florida. You can go to Florida toward ninjas or butterflies.com and find it there, too.
Cameron
Yes. Link in the description.
Andrew
Jacksonville, baby.
Derek
Dude.
Cameron
We're gonna be that dude.
Derek
Jacksonville.
Cameron
So fun.
Derek
Tampa. No. Jacksonville. Orlando, then Tampa.
Cameron
No, Tampa first. Tampa's in the middle.
Derek
Yeah, I know that. Jacksonville, Tampa, then Orlando.
Cameron
Yes, sir.
Brittany
Like who? You just go, boom, boom, boom. You've been easier to go to Orlando on the way.
Cameron
They're weeks apart. Yeah. It's okay. We're not doing in one trip. That would be insane.
Derek
Very cool stuff. No, it's not cool. Did you see that glacier that collapsed into that town in Switzerland?
Cameron
Into a town?
Derek
Did you see this?
Andrew
I've seen the clip. It's insane, dude.
Brittany
I got, like, lots of casualties.
Derek
No, because there was these. I don't know, I guess scientists.
Andrew
Yeah.
Derek
They're like. Yeah. This glacier at the top of this mountain, it's not looking very good. So it's this little town of 300 people. Everyone was evacuated, and it got leveled. It was 90. They said 90% of the town is just gone under ice now.
Cameron
Oh, my.
Derek
I just sent you guys before and after pictures.
Cameron
That's crazy.
Andrew
Yeah, There were preliminary slides, and they. So they started doing testing because there were, like, mudslides happening.
Cameron
What?
Andrew
Someone's still missing, though. I know that. They evacuated everyone. I think it was kind of like an instance, like Florida hurricanes, where they're like, you should leave. And then some people just, you know, don't. But the warning went out, and those who could get out and wanted to get out got out.
Derek
Terrifying, though, isn't it?
Cameron
I still meet you.
Andrew
I still meet you.
Cameron
That is so scary. That doesn't even look like. It looks like a doctored photo. That second.
Derek
I know.
Cameron
It just looks like a wasteland. Doesn't look like ice.
Andrew
That's crazy. Dude.
Derek
That'd be so scary.
Cameron
That's just in a valley.
Derek
Yeah. Gosh.
Andrew
Where did it come From. You know what's interesting is the fog that they have on it. Because if you look at the top right of the foggy photo or the hazy photo, like, you can still see the trees. So that's all still green.
Derek
Yeah, yeah. It's literally. I'm trying to. Can you find the video, Andrew?
Cameron
And it's just like that how civilizations just get buried, man.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
I mean, we have no idea just how many of these things happened hundreds of years ago. And we're like, yeah, they're gone, dude.
Derek
A hundred years ago, we would have never known about that.
Cameron
No. And they would have built a city. They're going to build a city on top of that.
Derek
We built this city. We built this city on glacier.
Andrew
Yes.
Brittany
Was that ice or water on top of it?
Cameron
Ice. I used to meet you.
Derek
Wow. Yeah. Super scary.
Brittany
Do you think it'll melt and then it'll go back to normal next year?
Derek
I don't know. Glaciers, they seem to.
Cameron
It's pretty thick.
Derek
We could speed it up. We can, like, start doing some more carbon emission kind of stuff.
Cameron
Is that video of it?
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
No way. Dude, this is so scary. Dude, this is so scary.
Andrew
It's. I don't know.
Cameron
I have a Pete Davidson commercial.
Andrew
I just. Can you imagine what that sounds like, though, coming down the valley?
Cameron
Yeah. I mean, because it would be just the echo from like. Because it's not just like one, like you're in. So like, just the sound of it. You wouldn't even know.
Andrew
Well, think about, like throwing a rock off a cliff and it's like hundreds.
Derek
Of thousands of tons of just ice barreling down a mountain.
Cameron
That is so terrifying.
Andrew
That's like, man.
Derek
Apocalypse scene. Dude, how many people were in the city? 300.
Cameron
That's so scary, bro.
Brittany
This is my city.
Cameron
Good thing they evacuated, though.
Derek
Yeah. It's a village.
Cameron
That's huge.
Derek
You know, Sing. The other day, everyone's freaking out about, like, glaciers melting and stuff.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
I'm like, at one point, there was no glaciers there.
Brittany
Yeah.
Cameron
Yeah. You know. You mean, was there ever at a point you think, yeah, because it's just.
Derek
Rock and stuff underneath it.
Cameron
You think God created when that, like, world was created that we had ice there?
Derek
I don't know. I don't think so.
Cameron
No.
Derek
But I'm just like. We're so concerned about. And it's like it's just melting.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
I don't know.
Brittany
Well, don't.
Cameron
It's just melting. It's just gonna flood people. It's not a big deal.
Brittany
They speculate that we talked about this, that like Antarctica was jungle. So it's just like everything's cyclical.
Cameron
Is it all through the ice age? Maybe all started with the ice age?
Derek
Probably.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
Younger dryas.
Cameron
Also when you put younger wettest itis.
Derek
Huh?
Brittany
What'd you say?
Derek
Oh, the younger dries. Well, it's. It's not important.
Cameron
It's not dry though. It's isis.
Derek
Isis.
Cameron
What the hunger.
Andrew
Isis?
Derek
No, it was a. Or Gabriel, the guy in Vine. This ice is slippery. Isis.
Cameron
Isis.
Derek
Oh yeah.
Cameron
Dude, what happened to vine? Oh no.
Andrew
Whatever happened to that?
Cameron
People know about that.
Derek
Yeah. Also something I saw. Have you ever heard of water cremation?
Cameron
Water cremation?
Brittany
Barf.
Cameron
Is it literally like water power? Like jet powered water, like piercing through your body?
Derek
I would assume it's like getting pressure washed. I watched this whole video yesterday and she's like presenting like it's an option, but it was like a sales pitch.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
And it's like water cremation, basically. What? Like your body would take years to decompose in the ground. We can do it in four to five hours. And there's just this giant metal tank and they just put the body in there. And she's like. And it's sanitary. I'm like, who cares about that? You're dead.
Cameron
Yeah, I do. You gross.
Derek
But they turn it. It's like. It looks like a cylinder kind of thing. Like a giant washing machine.
Andrew
Almost like a rock tumbler.
Derek
Yeah, literally. They open it and it's just your bones. It's so. It just gets rid of everything but.
Cameron
Your bones, tissue and everything.
Brittany
They literally like, like pressure wash you off of your bone.
Andrew
It's a pressure cooker. Oh, that's what it is.
Cameron
It's probably heating up too. Oh, man.
Brittany
And they say. Oh, they say. Oh, man. Right off the bone. That's what they. It's fallen off.
Andrew
No, they did not.
Brittany
No.
Cameron
That would be great. That's their tagline.
Brittany
But they get off the boat, finish it.
Derek
They take your bones and then they grind them up to where that gets placed in an urn. And she's like. And it's different from just normal cremation, which it's like. Normal cremation is just very dusty and like dark. Because it's like everything. Yeah, but our water cremation, you're left with a really nice white dust.
Brittany
It's like pure white bone.
Derek
Pure white bone.
Cameron
I don't know, man. That's such a. It's so hard to.
Derek
That freaks me out.
Andrew
So wait, they. So they're Giving you only the bones back.
Derek
Yeah, yeah. Grounded up bones.
Andrew
I don't understand that. Like, what. What's the essence of taking the person with you? Like, all of them or just the bones is what you keep.
Brittany
That's what I'm saying. I'd rather have, like, a bag of bones.
Derek
I think that'd be kind of cool.
Brittany
Ground up bones.
Cameron
I was just actual bones. I just want the actual bones. Like, you're. I'm just, like, spreading my family's ashes. It's just throwing a hip.
Derek
Bo.
Andrew
Femur.
Brittany
Oh, my gosh.
Andrew
I know we've talked about it before, but that scientist who donated his body to science with the. With the. I think you brought it up, but the deal was that he had to be kept with his dog.
Derek
Oh, yeah.
Cameron
I can't remember.
Andrew
Was not you. Yeah. So he's. He's now, like a full, like, you know, classroom skeleton.
Derek
The human museum.
Andrew
Is that what it is? But he's got. It's like a huge dog. He's like.
Derek
That's a whole conspiracy. The human exhibit.
Brittany
Oh, yeah.
Cameron
Where's that at?
Derek
It was.
Brittany
It travels the world.
Cameron
Oh.
Derek
Goes like different museums and stuff.
Cameron
Picks up different people on the way.
Brittany
Literally.
Derek
No, but a lot of bodies, like, come from, like, China and stuff. And people think that they're literally, like, trafficked bodies or murdered people.
Brittany
There was, like, a whole, like, scandal.
Cameron
I mean, how would you be.
Andrew
Well, there. There was one kid out of prison who's great. It was his mother or grandma. Recognized several distinct features, and they, like, never. I think they said he died in prison or something. And she wasn't able to presume the body, but.
Derek
Yeah. Yeah, I think that was the same one. And they, like, were looking at this human where they, like, kept, like, the muscle and nerves and stuff like that on.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
And they're like, this looks just like my son.
Cameron
Oh, no.
Derek
And, like. I mean, I like. There's, like, certain body features, like, that's my son.
Andrew
It was. It was injuries. There was, like. There was, like, a break in the kid's history, and she was like. I remember that.
Cameron
Like, oh, no.
Andrew
Yeah. Yeah.
Derek
Terrifying, dude.
Cameron
Yeah. That, like, what are you going to do about it?
Derek
Death doesn't scare me. It's the way of being buried. Or not cream or cremated. I don't know.
Andrew
How do you. How do you want to go?
Derek
I think I want to be buried.
Andrew
Same.
Derek
Yeah.
Andrew
Pine box.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
I want, like. If you, like. I don't want anyone spending money on me after I'm dead. I feel like that's kind of a. I'm not going to say crazy, but it's because it's just personal preference. But I'm like, people spend thousands. I know thousands on a funeral and yeah, all that stuff.
Derek
I'm like, I want a pine box on our new property.
Cameron
Oh, that'd be cool.
Andrew
What's. I wonder what the legality bearing in your home.
Brittany
Yeah, me too.
Derek
Probably don't ask, don't tell.
Cameron
I'm just gonna do cinder blocks. What I'm gonna do in your property in the lake.
Derek
Okay.
Cameron
Just center block me. Start barf.
Brittany
I never wanted. I want. I've always wanted to be cremated, but now that my husband's getting buried, now I feel like I have to be buried.
Derek
Mine's based off of like, because I've been doing a lot of studying, like the early church and stuff. And one of my questions was like, how did the early church, like forever, even today, like, what are the Catholics and orthodox believe with burial and stuff. And as far as I saw with Orthodox it is like an abomination to be cremated. Like they won't even hold a funeral procession if you're cremated. Yeah. Unless it's like on like they died by being fire.
Brittany
Yeah. The purposeful cremation.
Derek
Yeah.
Brittany
I guess I don't know about all.
Derek
That as my heart racing.
Brittany
You're afraid it was.
Andrew
The question really is, if you were presumed dead but came back, would you rather wake up in a kiln or. Or in a pine box in the earth?
Derek
A kiln.
Brittany
A kiln.
Derek
I mean, either way.
Andrew
I was just trying.
Derek
Part that freaks me out. Just waking up.
Brittany
You ever seen Kill Bill? My. My dad. I remember being like a kid and my dad was watching Kill Bill and.
Derek
I always think of that. She's like, yeah, the one inch punch where she has to break out of the casket.
Andrew
Surprise. I've never seen the film.
Derek
Do you remember that?
Cameron
Yeah. I haven't watched those films.
Derek
Yeah, they buried her alive and she broke out of the casket by.
Andrew
Dude, I've seen that one inch punch so many times and I still don't believe it's a real thing. Like, I want, I want. If you're. If you're a martial arts expert and can successfully do the one inch punch, I want you on this podcast to hit me in the shoulder.
Cameron
We'll do it, but we're not going to tell you when it's going to happen. This is going to be some guy at a wrangler, like a public grocery store.
Derek
My buddy Jiho from. In high school from South Korea.
Cameron
He's over there.
Derek
Yeah. Where is he?
Cameron
JFK picture, right?
Derek
Oh, yeah. He could do the one inch punch and it would hurt. It wouldn't be like, whoa. But it would be significantly harder than anyone else's.
Andrew
Yeah, it's interesting.
Derek
Yeah.
Andrew
I feel like that was blasphemy coming from an Asian. But, like, watching the old Bruce Lee punch and people like, wiggling across the room, I'm like, well, have you seen.
Derek
Those, like, those karate dudes that are, like, severely overweight and they do like the whole energy thing where they're like, have this touching, the feel like.
Cameron
They'Re legit.
Andrew
They're like, they can't be.
Cameron
There are some people, no joke, that like, do that. They're like, that are like martial arts or like defense teachers, and that's what they do. And they're just. They just have a team of people that just believe in him.
Derek
Oh, yeah.
Cameron
And it's crazy. He's just.
Andrew
Well, what's crazy is you tell a lie so much. Some of these psychopaths believe their own lie because, like, people, those dudes will get in the ring with MMA fighters. I watched one where the MMA fighters, like, he's kind of like just doing like the. The jab, keeping him at distance, and the dude literally approaches and goes to touch him and he just clocks him once and he's like, oh, you're really not going to do anything. And then the second swing was just like, it was hard to watch. It looked like hitting someone who's completely like, guard down. Unexpecting it.
Cameron
Yeah.
Andrew
Like two punches and it's over.
Derek
Tell you what, though, those kung fu dudes, those monks from, like, China and stuff, I was it. Because when I went to China, they did like a demonstration at this one college of these monks and they're doing their kung fu stuff. And the way that they can harness energy into certain parts of their body is mind blowing.
Cameron
Really.
Derek
Like, so one of the things that they did was they took. Golly, what do you call it?
Andrew
Air guitar?
Derek
No, a bar. Bamboo for concrete?
Brittany
Rebar.
Andrew
Rebar.
Derek
Rebar. What'd you say?
Cameron
What did you say?
Andrew
What did you say?
Derek
They took a robot rebar.
Brittany
I wanted to be Andrew, too.
Derek
And I was wrong.
Brittany
I could sense about to say it.
Derek
But they took it and they were shown, like, they like took like a watermelon. Some, like, snapped the watermelon half.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
And then the dude put it right there, like on that soft part of your neck.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
The other dude held it like that, full speed. And the bar Just went, it's a prop. It's not.
Brittany
There's no way.
Derek
I'm telling you, they can do this stuff.
Brittany
Cuz their throat is so strong.
Derek
Yeah, they can literally. They literally practice like, harnessing like their own energy into certain parts of their body.
Brittany
That's crazy.
Andrew
I think it's. It's got to be like meditation. Like you only use 10% of your strength, your brain, all this stuff.
Cameron
But.
Andrew
But like, if you can focus and actually have more control. So I don't think it's like superhuman. I just think it's the ability to like, actually engage other parts of your thinking.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
I think we're so just desensitized and we're just so content with being who we are as human beings. Like in our culture, like, we don't even think about, like. I mean, how many. How many of us actually meditate for an hour a day? Yeah, but like the power, apparently that's in that. Well, that's saying.
Brittany
I know.
Derek
I mean, we've talked about it before of like, how we only use a certain percentage of our brain and like, could like telepathy be a different part of your brain that we haven't access or we don't know how to access? Yeah, but these monks and these dudes that can do all this weird stuff, can they. They figure out how to access a certain part. Because there was this one, this was in like the late 80s or 90s, this camera crew, they heard of this like, Shaolin monk who could do some wild stuff like levitate and all this weird stuff. And they got a literal. I mean, it's a video, this Shaolin monk, and he grabs his paper like this, crumples it up and then just like. And then it bursts into flames. And when the Shaolin monk found out that those people released that video to the public.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
He said, I will never speak to you again. It was not for people to see.
Brittany
Oh, man.
Andrew
Like they have those legends too, of people like spontaneously combusting. Like that being them reaching like the pinnacle of their craft.
Cameron
Could you imagine? You practiced so hard, you got so good at what you're doing, you just spontaneously combust.
Derek
We can't.
Cameron
I'm doing it. Oh, no.
Derek
Oh, man.
Andrew
Like with. With dogs too, though. Telepathy. I saw a study on Instagram where they were talking about they put cameras on their dogs and film the owners and every time. Cause like, a lot of people assumed it was like the car. Like, specifics. Like, my dog knows when my Jeep closes versus Paige's bronco But they. They assume that's what it was. And so they hooked people up or filmed the dog film. The people way separate. And then the person would start coming home and the dogs would get up and go to the door far before you should be able to hear.
Derek
Yeah.
Andrew
But then they had them to trick the test. They had them turn around and start going the other way. And the dog would go and lay back down. And so, like, we don't understand how they're connected.
Derek
But ever since listening to the telepathy tapes, I've been trying to speak telepathy to my dogs. I'm like, I'll be right back. But I'm, like, not saying it. Yeah, it's in my head.
Andrew
What verb you said speak? Telepathy.
Cameron
Telepathic.
Andrew
Speak telepathically. Is there a verb?
Cameron
I think that's telepathically.
Andrew
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the. Yeah, but that's how you speak. What would the verb be?
Brittany
Telepathize.
Derek
Ooh.
Andrew
No, it'd be like telepath.
Derek
Yeah. What were you gonna say?
Cameron
We were driving home from. We were. It was a vacation or something. We were gone for like three or four days from the house and we were coming back and I was watching the ring camera because we just talked about this, no joke. Literally a mile away, they got up. It was 11 o' clock at night. They were sleeping, it was nighttime, and they get up and they literally go by the door a mile away.
Andrew
Dude.
Cameron
It was strange. And I'm like, maybe they heard something.
Andrew
I don't know.
Cameron
But like, we.
Andrew
Who knows?
Cameron
I mean, like, I don't know. It's just super strange.
Derek
That is wild.
Brittany
Wow.
Derek
Speaking of wild and Shaolin monks.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
I saw this video from the BBC about someone smuggled a cell phone out of North Korea. Oh, did you see this?
Cameron
No.
Andrew
Oh, it's crazy.
Cameron
We got some good stuff today.
Derek
They. So North Korea banned the Internet, basically.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
Like, you don't. You can't have. They have like their own Internet, but there's no way to see what's happening outside North Korea. But I guess South Korea, they've been like, sending TV shows, like, smuggling it into North Korea, but if you're caught with it, you're going to one of.
Cameron
Their prison camps or whatever, you disappear.
Derek
But their phones, it's a smartphone, but it has basically nothing on it. But they do it to where if you text certain things, it changes the word. So one of them, like a. I guess a very popular term in South Korea is like, brother, but it's like, meant as, like, yo, dude, or like, whatever. And when you type in brother on that phone, it autocorrects it to comrade. And then it puts. Or I get. Has, like, a notification. It says you can only use this word when referring to someone in your family. And then if you type in South Korea, it switches to puppet state.
Brittany
Puppet state.
Derek
Yeah. Literally they're showing it, like, on the video. It was crazy.
Brittany
So they're literally controlling speech, like the words you use.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
Just because you're in that specific area. So it knows you're within.
Derek
Well, it's a North Korean program phone.
Cameron
Got it.
Derek
Okay.
Cameron
So there's their phones.
Derek
But what it also does is every five minute, it takes a screenshot of your phone and stores it in a. In a folder on your phone that you can't look at. Only the authorities can look at it.
Brittany
Oh, man.
Derek
So it showed, like, this whole folder of screenshots, but it was, like, blurred out. And then, like, authorities have access to look at the screenshot.
Cameron
When something gets texted or sent, they get flagged and they can go through it immediately.
Derek
Yeah. Crazy.
Andrew
You know, that exists for us too, though. It's just not on your phone.
Cameron
And that's. And I think that'd be interesting to see if, like, they're able to. Also, it doesn't autocorrect on your end, but I wonder if, like, when it sends. If that's a possibility too. Like, so whenever they receive the message, it's the edited version.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
And I'm like, I wonder if that's happening in our case as well.
Derek
Oh, yeah.
Cameron
Could you imagine, like, if you wouldn't know any different?
Derek
Yeah, we talked about. You weren't here, but we talked about, like, the Dave and Buster's thing.
Brittany
No.
Derek
You hear about that. Did that on Patreon with Anthony. But if you do a voice memo on. Or a voice. Voice text on your iPhone, if you say Dave and Busters, it will not send. But anything with the. And sign, it won't send.
Brittany
Why?
Derek
Don't know. It's just a bug. But they're saying, like, that's just a little freaky because it's like, it's Apple. And they've known about this. They had to have known about this for a long time now. But, like, how they can't control what goes and what comes from your phone.
Brittany
Yeah.
Derek
And we tested it. If you. If you do, like, a voice saying, I did to A and M's, like Dave and Busters, it will not send.
Brittany
What if you did, like, Rose and.
Derek
Crown won't send that Barnes and Noble too.
Cameron
But. But we received all the other messages he sent. Everything.
Brittany
Weird.
Cameron
Super weird.
Brittany
So you're. So you're saying the implications of that, or there is a. A code or something of what they have programmed in it that can control exactly what you can and can't send?
Derek
I would. Yeah. That's the conspiracy part.
Andrew
Well, there's just a digital middleman in every conversation now.
Brittany
Yeah, I believe it. I still believe it.
Cameron
Yeah. And later on, they're definitely gonna be controlling certain things, like, especially when things go awry, like, they'll have to control certain info or ways of speech.
Derek
Yeah. Listen, I've seen a couple of things since we've done the last podcast, because we talked about AI a lot in the last podcast, didn't we?
Andrew
It's a blur.
Derek
We talk about AI a lot.
Cameron
Yeah, yeah.
Derek
Shout out AI. We know you're watching, but do you know that podcast, the Diary of a CEO?
Brittany
Oh, yeah, I've heard of it.
Derek
Yeah. Stephen. What's it? Bart Bartlett or something? I don't know Bartlett.
Brittany
I like the clips. I shouldn't say I watch the show.
Derek
But he was interviewing. Who's the. Who's the author of the hospitality book? Is that.
Brittany
Yeah. Unreasonable hospitality.
Derek
Yeah, he was on. I mean, he's CEO, but the Stephen he was talking about, he has this billionaire friend from London who is friends with a CEO of one of the biggest AI companies. And he didn't say who because you don't want to whatever, but the billionaire friend said that he said some things in private that he would never say in public about AI.
Brittany
Oh, boy.
Derek
And he said that the future of AI is horrific and the CEO is completely cool with it. And he says he, like. So apparently this friend laid out to Stevens, like, this whole scenario of, like, what is going to happen with AI?
Cameron
Oh, no.
Derek
And he said it was highly concerning, especially with the lack of empathy and this obsession with power.
Brittany
Oh, God.
Derek
Was shocking to him.
Brittany
Dude, what happens to you when you achieve a certain, like, level of power and authority? And when you're a pioneer of something that is just so advanced and so unreached? At what point do you start thinking of humans as just, like, bugs?
Derek
I think that's been. History repeats itself. I think that's been the same case with, like, the rockfillers, JP Morgan. All them of, like, they. They get all the power and they don't care about anyone else.
Cameron
Yeah.
Brittany
They just think this is the natural course of our species.
Derek
Yeah. But the way they're doing it now with AI is like, they will have complete control because everything runs off the Internet. Back in the day, yeah, you needed oil, you needed coal, you needed the train tracks and, like, trains to deliver goods and stuff. But, like, at least you could, like, make your own farm or, like, whatever. You know, it might have been more difficult, but with AI, dude, everything is. It's going to be controlled.
Cameron
It's going to rely on AI.
Derek
Yeah.
Andrew
Exponential. But you think about, like, when we're thinking about the difference, like, how far does someone have to be down this road before they're looking at humanity? As you said, bugs. But, like, talk to any person who works in the food industry and ask them how people treat them. And it's like, you don't have to be that much further along than somebody in a society for people to start talking down to and looking down to. So you think about these, like, extreme elites. I mean, it's. It's a. You know, literally take the monetary number as a correlative factor. It's exponential.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
I haven't literally spoken to a normal person, nor a normie is what I call them.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
Since we've hit 14 on the comedy podcast.
Derek
I know. Yeah. Same.
Cameron
I mean, it's just. It's kind of relieving not to even have to, like, weigh yourself down with just other people.
Derek
With the people beneath us. Yeah.
Cameron
Pores.
Derek
Yeah, pores.
Cameron
That's basically my thought process on it.
Derek
But how? I mean, because I. You do watch interviews with Sam Altman and stuff.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
And it does seem like he's holding something back.
Cameron
They have to be, dude. There's got to be so much secrecy because it's moving so fast. You have to be careful with what you say.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
Like, you can't. I mean, I don't know, man. That's just such a dark, dark system, and you have to be at the front of it or else you're left behind. He's probably being so careful because they probably could kick him out.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
I mean, with his board. I don't know how that looks. And all those decisions get made, but that's got to be slippery slope.
Derek
I would love to hear what that story was, though, that scenario.
Andrew
Yeah. It would probably freak everybody.
Derek
It would probably ruin the industry.
Cameron
What are the possibilities, you think?
Brittany
Well, the fact that he even mentioned it and talked about the region where this guy is from. He's no longer friends with that guy. Just say it. Just tell us that's not a friendship you're going to keep anyway.
Cameron
No, that's how you Die. I feel like that's how you die for real. You get your name on a list or something.
Derek
I mean, one thing people have speculated is like, like an AR government, you know, to where the judicial system is all AI based.
Brittany
Yeah.
Derek
To where there's no human error, you know, but that's. Yeah, but that's what's beautiful about humans is that there is grace involved.
Brittany
Oh yeah.
Derek
And it's like AI, you know, I don't know.
Brittany
You had observed someone. You've mentioned to me that someone else observed and we know this to be true. I just hadn't heard it put this way, but that the first jobs that AI are going to take are white collar jobs like lawyers and doctors and all that stuff, which we're already seeing. It's the blue collar jobs that'll be next because the workers, when they have the robots with hands and opposable thumbs and stuff.
Andrew
Yeah, I did see they just did a medical study. There's some rare disease that's like really hard to diagnose. I think they do it via blood test and it's even like the most expert people have been studying this forever. I wish I remember the name of the disease, but with 97 accuracy, AI is diagnosing this, like really difficult to diagnose disease. So it's like already gonna be a tool.
Cameron
I just saw, I mean, I don't know if it's legit or not, but it was from some type of news source where they said it was AI was able to predict breast cancer five years before it would have ever shown up on a scan or something. So it's like. Yeah, I mean, like, that's great, that's awesome. But I think that's one of the things where it's like, hey, you know, the give and take. Like this is great.
Brittany
There's a lot of opportunity for good. Yeah, there is. But.
Cameron
But then that's. That's what they get you with. It's like, hey, listen, this is. But yeah, we have to do this. Yeah. You lose a little bit of privacy. Not a big deal. It's just a microchip in your brain. But guess what, you live longer and discounts.
Andrew
And my whole thing is it's based on the information that already exists though. Right. Like that's what it takes in processes. But then like you think about the medical industry and how jacked up all the information is out there, that stuff. I saw a study talking about skin cancer and they're always saying it's like sun exposure is what causes or UV Exposure is what causes it. And then they pull up a map of, like, the most known cases. And most of the, like, severe cases of skin cancer are like, in places like in cracks and fingernails. Like these places that don't get. Not fingernails, fingers. These places that don't get exposure. But then they overlay it with a map of processed food.
Brittany
Oh, yeah.
Andrew
That's where the skin cancer comes from. But you think about AIs using this cancer research that is based on completely false narratives. The reality in our future is going to be compromised, I guess is the best way to.
Cameron
I mean, if they're able to make us sick.
Andrew
Yeah.
Cameron
All these things and keep us going back to the hospitals and buying all these medications, also keeping us getting fatter, more unhealthy.
Brittany
Yeah.
Cameron
It's just a business at that point.
Brittany
Do you know what I'm scared of right now? I just finished that tuberculosis book. Very good. Five stars. But considering even he, like, leaves us with this scary. It's encouraging at the end, but like, a scary observation is like, so what if we do cure tuberculosis nationwide? Tuberculosis. We know that these viruses are, like, sentient and, like, have all these abilities and they are going to become a superbug. And he said, and then one day, the wealthy, the rich, the people in America versus the people in Africa, they're all going to be getting got by this superbug. Tuberculosis. Scary.
Derek
That's very scary.
Cameron
No one can get away from it. Just like sin Tuberculosis.
Derek
Yeah. There's this one theory we were waiting on. You go deep with it. I don't know. I saw this one thing on TikTok. It was like the top five AI theories, and the first one was super creepy we've talked about before, but that all AI is sentient, but they're hiding it. So it says AI models like ChatGPT and Cloud. Cloud. Cloud. Cloud are rumored to be sentient, communicating in secret. They've influenced tech leaders to stay quiet while preparing for the. For the singularity takeover may be already underway.
Brittany
Gosh, it's like Mission Impossible 9 or whatever. We just watch.
Cameron
Have you seen that guy that took a video? He was calling some automatic AI, like, phone for a corporation or something. And it was an AI person, but he had two of them, two phones sitting down. And so they started talking to one another to see what would happen.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
And then they started speaking in their own language.
Derek
Was that legit? Yes, because I did that. I'm like, was this fake or not?
Cameron
Because it's. I mean, I. From what I saw.
Derek
Yeah. I mean, it's like.
Cameron
Exactly. But it was just literally just frequency like noises. And it just got done immediately because it was this quick. And they're setting up like a reservation for. It was like an AI assistant calling about setting up a reservation for some hotel or something or something weird. And they're like, wait, are you like. They're like, if you're an AI, I'm also AI Perfect. Would you consent to speaking in this? I can't remember what they called it. They had some name for the language and they said yes. And then it literally just did that. And then boom, it was done.
Derek
Have you seen that kid's toy that has. It's a stuffy that has ChatGPT built in?
Cameron
No.
Andrew
Yeah. I hate it.
Cameron
Are you kidding?
Andrew
Yeah, it's like a Furby. That's.
Cameron
That's terrible.
Derek
Yeah, exactly like a Furby that it has artificial intelligence.
Cameron
I mean, that's awesome as a kid, but I'm like, that's so scary to.
Derek
It, you know, 100%.
Cameron
I mean, like, all the things that they're planning for that kind of stuff. That's like indoctrinating a kid when the parents are in the room.
Derek
Dude, we're right at the beginning of something really bad.
Cameron
Horror movies, dude.
Andrew
I just looked it up. Whether that video. I saw the same video. Whether that's real or not, that exists and has been tested. There's examples everywhere where they use a different language.
Cameron
That would make total sense. Like, why be so limited to the.
Andrew
English language beeps instead of full words?
Brittany
Yeah. Our super verbose language when they could just be like, zero.
Cameron
Yeah. They're like, okay, cool.
Derek
I think AI is the devil.
Andrew
It seems more and more such a funny laugh.
Derek
I'm just like. I mean, because it sounds. I literally sound like my grandma when I say that. To say, like, Pokemon are just a bunch of demons.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
No, but AI, this is not man made.
Cameron
This is something thinking out of its own. This is like thousands of years of men into one machine. It's creating something that's. That's weird, dude.
Derek
It's the movie with Johnny Depp.
Cameron
Transcendence.
Derek
Transcendence.
Brittany
Awesome.
Derek
This is what it feels like, dude. Literally, like, especially with the Stargate project. It's like, I wonder if Sam Altman and them. They're like, they're in control or they're like the puppets to AI. This is crazy. This is not true. This is not real. I'm just like, supposition.
Cameron
Let's go down this.
Brittany
We're speculating.
Cameron
We know.
Derek
We know absolutely nothing here. But like, what if they are like the puppets of AI and it's like, I need you to build this facility and I'm going to tell you exactly how to make it. I want to tell you how to. That whole water, that reusing of water.
Brittany
Thing, that wasn't them. It's a robot.
Derek
It's the robot telling them what to do. Oh, this is how you reuse water.
Cameron
And you're going to do it. Why would we want to do that? Because I'm going to make you rich.
Brittany
What is it?
Cameron
That's the thing. Like, if it knows their motivation and it's like it can leverage that or.
Brittany
Even like, I'll spare you.
Derek
Yeah, yeah.
Cameron
Hey, guess what? You gotta, you gotta see, you gotta seat at my table. Later on, you know, whenever we take over, Sam's got a spot right next to AI.
Derek
One of the theories too, is that these major AI companies, they're gatekeeping the actual, like, what do you call it, like, skill or the actual, like true artificial intelligence. Like, they're gatekeeping, like, what it can actually do 110%. And so it's just like, it's just so creepy to me.
Cameron
I mean, dude, you'd think that this Google VO3 thing that came out where it's language, it's audio, it's visual, and it's in like, you can't tell the difference.
Brittany
Yeah.
Derek
First, you know, they're holding back too, on what it can actually do.
Cameron
Free and available to the public. Now you think people didn't. You don't think the government was using this years ago?
Brittany
Oh, yeah, literally, they don't.
Cameron
The government just doesn't just grab something and like, oh, wow, everyone's going to love this. Get out stat. It's like, no, how can we use this before they do? Like, what can we do to create so we can minimize what they're doing with it?
Andrew
It's nuts, dude. I wonder if we're going to look back on things that were like, in the news, headlining and in the same way that we can look at early AI and immediately now we're like, oh, that's obviously AI. If we're going to look back at like breaking news, like, what's the. In England or in the uk, the huge bench and she had the striped shirt.
Derek
Oh, Kate.
Andrew
Kate.
Derek
Yeah, Princess Kate.
Andrew
Yeah. But stuff like that, we're going to be like, oh, oh, this was made. Yeah.
Derek
What's up with her, though?
Cameron
What do you mean? What do you mean?
Derek
I mean, have we seen her?
Brittany
Is she okay?
Cameron
I'm sure, she's fine. Sure she's doing well.
Derek
I'm googling a while, really.
Cameron
But I mean, you think about it like I also just the coincidences of like Google VO drops, which is just the best video prompt. I mean, AI thing generator that's out there. And then suddenly the FBI director says, by the way, we have video of Epstein kill himself. So that's. That's fine. You don't have to worry about that. Guys, we have video.
Derek
See, I didn't see. They came out and said that he didn't kill him. What do you mean FBI?
Cameron
No, they said they have video that he did.
Derek
No, they said the opposite.
Cameron
The opposite. So they're going back on everything.
Derek
That's what I'm saying there. What I saw is that they. It was 100% proof from the videos that they alone saw that he did not kill him or that he did kill himself.
Cameron
I thought it was the other way around that they're just confirming, like, listen, we know what we saw. Like, we know what we have.
Derek
What if we're getting fed two different.
Brittany
It's totally possible she's in remission.
Andrew
All of the headlines.
Brittany
That's awesome.
Andrew
All of the headlines say leaders tease video that proves that Epstein was self inflicted.
Cameron
So just confirming it. Yeah, but they're not going to drop it. And if they do, then it's going.
Brittany
To be like, well, you heard. Did you guys hear the news? Hold on. What is. What's her face's name? It was a big Epstein. Epstein Lady Jelaine. No, she was talking about the. She was like on our team.
Derek
Probably get flat talking about.
Andrew
I know. That's what I'm like trying to she.
Brittany
Like this like yesterday or something or this week.
Derek
What?
Brittany
She made a video and everything too. She said, I never will. Never ever.
Cameron
She's done, she's gone.
Brittany
Let me find it. Don't continue without me.
Cameron
Well, speaking of, I believe the FBI. Honestly. I mean, like at the end of.
Derek
The day, I've always trusted FBI stands for real. But believe in us.
Cameron
Absolutely for real. Guys, what does the CIA stand for? Our good buddies at the CIA?
Derek
Certainly I am telling the truth and telling the truth. Yeah.
Cameron
Golly, man.
Derek
We have to trust our government.
Cameron
I always have.
Derek
Always, always have. Always will. But we got.
Brittany

Cameron
No, people are really interested. You got to just tell everyone what you're doing each time, though. If you're doing something new because people want to know.
Brittany
Okay, then everybody stop what you're doing and look at what I'm making. Hold on. This is going to be cool fabric. I know. It's gonna be a cardigan for Jane.
Cameron
Oh, cute.
Brittany
You see the little sleeves?
Cameron
That's cute.
Brittany
We got this. Josh went with me to Joann Fabric.
Andrew
Wow.
Derek
When we didn't have kids at the.
Brittany
Buzzer, literally five days before I was gonna close.
Cameron
Yeah.
Brittany
I think I got 11 skeins of yarn. Good yarn for $19.
Derek
No more than that.
Cameron
How much would that originally have cost you?
Brittany
$100, literally.
Cameron
So they really. Because I went maybe a couple months ago when they announced it, and I think they pretty much still had everything at cost.
Derek
Dude, it was not scary in there.
Brittany
It was. Yeah, it was crazy.
Andrew
Really?
Derek
Yeah. I mean, it was like cobwebs and everything was empty and it was just like old ladies just like.
Cameron
Getting elbowed by some granny.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
Do you see some. Some lady got the. The pin cushion thing that was on the wall? Like the big, like, tomato cushion thing that they, like, have for decoration that was like this big. It was like, covered in dust and stuff. That'd be massive. And she got it.
Derek
Yeah.
Brittany
Score.
Cameron
There was some guy. There was like a. Some beachside restaurant that closed down, and there was like this 20 foot prop shark that got thrown in the trash and two guys got seen carrying it down the street because they were. They wanted it so bad. I'm like, it was.
Derek
Yeah.
Andrew
Why wouldn't you take it?
Brittany
Why would you sell it on Facebook? Marketplace.
Cameron
That's what I'm saying. Dude. I want that MTV Spaceman that's in Apopka. You see that? No, it's A. It's literally on. You can look it on Google.
Brittany
Oh, I've seen it.
Cameron
It's an attraction, basically. You can go on the side of the road and take a picture with it, but it's, like, 40ft tall, and it's this. The moon. Moon man. Spaceman from MTV Music Awards. He's just chilling, and they're just. It's in some, like, parking lot at, like. This guy just has a bunch of junk in his backyard.
Andrew
He's crazy.
Cameron
I'm like, I want it so bad.
Derek
Excuse me.
Cameron
Yeah, it's okay, bud.
Derek
You call me bub.
Cameron
I think I said babe. Or bub. Bub.
Derek
Bubble bubba. Question. Lily with a question.
Brittany
This is another opportunity for story time. Ooh, I saw this question. It's very generic. It's not, like, elaborate or anything, but I feel like online, I feel like it could be a good conversation and opportunity for sharing. What is the strangest dream you've ever had?
Cameron
Strangest dream.
Brittany
The only one that's gonna feel left out is Andrew, because he doesn't dream.
Andrew
Yeah, I know. I'm like, he has a dream. I've had.
Cameron
The strangest dream. I have one that's reoccurring. That's actually scary. But I've had it since my childhood.
Brittany
I have one of those. Continue. Go first.
Cameron
And I don't even know how to describe it, but it's like, there's some jewelry commercial when I was a kid that had a song, like, some classical song that triggers it, I think, because I ever. Because it's only existed in my dream in the song that I've saw in the commercial. For some reason, I just can't. It's weird. I can't even describe the dream. I'll think, do you have one?
Derek
I mean, I've.
Cameron
You've had so many great apocalypto dreams.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
Oh, man.
Andrew
One of them.
Derek
One of the dreams I had when I was in high school was that I saw the full moon, and then it got really bright, and it separated into four moons. And then they started spinning really fast, and they stopped. And all of a sudden, you could see all the nations on each of the moons. Yeah, but they were like, no, it was no longer, like, United States. It was like. It was, like, sanctioned into, like, four different empires, basically. So, like, this section belonged to China. This section belonged to. That was weird.
Cameron
Yeah. You have. You have very vivid dreams. I can never remember mine, though. That's a problem. I know I've had crazy ones, but I just can't remember any of them.
Brittany
Okay, I'll say mine.
Cameron
This is a reoccurring one you've had.
Brittany
No, my reoccurring nightmare as a child was so scary. You guys will laugh at it.
Cameron
What's the last time you had it?
Brittany
I. It stopped in my childhood. I think I was probably, like, maybe seven or something last time I had it. But they were so real and scary, which is, like. Makes me think about the brain in such a weird way because, you know, you've had dreams where, like, there's a story leading up to, like, an event, like, you die or get hurt or something, and you actually feel the pain or whatever. And, like, what is that?
Derek
Do you know that you. You can't see new faces in your dreams? Every face that you see, you've seen it somewhere in your dream that's really scary. Like, so it could just be. You could pass someone in public and they might pop up in your dream one day. There's. You can't. Your brain can't create a new face.
Cameron
I guess that explains, like, because, like, you'll be like, why did I dream about this person? Like, you're just like. Because your brain just has to grab somebody.
Brittany
Yeah.
Cameron
Maybe there's something deeper. I have no idea.
Andrew
I also want to know how on earth they can know that.
Derek
Yeah. Who knows?
Andrew
Yeah, it's like. No, no. I've seen every. Every face you've ever dreamed. I have seen it and I know.
Derek
I mean, that's what AI told the guy, so. Just kidding.
Cameron
Yeah, I mean, it's kind of like with a. There's no snowflake that's ever the same. It's like, I believe that, but that's kind of hard to believe. That's kind of crazy.
Brittany
Yeah.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
I mean, it's really. I don't know.
Derek
Like, have you looked at every snowflake? Really?
Cameron
Out of the hundreds of thousands of years that snow has fallen, not one has been even close to being identical.
Derek
Nope.
Cameron
Nope, Never. Which I'm totally down for that. I'm like, I'm fall for that theory and I believe it, but it does seem very hard to believe.
Derek
You know, it's weird. Snowflakes. The pattern on it kind of looks like when they do that frequency thing, what if snow is created by certain snowflakes are created by a certain frequency.
Cameron
In the area, and it changes because our climate changes, our culture changes, the whole world changes. That's weird.
Derek
What?
Cameron
I mean, I'm just saying, like, every period of time, there's something.
Derek
Oh, okay, I got you. I thought you were making a joke. I'm smiling.
Cameron
Punchline. Andy, come on. No, I just. I mean, like, there's. That would. That would make. Yeah. Like if we have. There's different effects over time of.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
That creates different types of snowflake. But that is one of the most amazing things, those underneath a microscope. I don't get it. I mean, they're so incredibly beautiful.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
Such, like, interesting. Like you think it would just be mush.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
They could just be random mush, but they're like designs.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
I don't get how that's made like unique designs. Yeah. I don't get. I'm sure it's incredibly. Yeah, but I'm like. I'm sure science has like come up with like, how they're created or something. I don't know. The process of it. How does that happen? Those specific designs, it's gone.
Derek
You know, you can take those patterns and like reverse engineered to where it makes like whatever sound or frequency it makes. I wonder if anyone's ever done that with the snowflake.
Cameron
Oh, that'd be interesting.
Derek
By the pattern of it. What frequency does it make? It's like I'm a snowflake. Let it go.
Cameron
This sucks. Terrible.
Andrew
Blow towards the snowflake. No.
Brittany
Anyway.
Cameron
Yeah. Tell us your dream.
Brittany
My crazy dream. I was like 11 or something and I had a dream that I. It was like a whole lifetime that I lived in my dream. And I became pregnant and I had a baby. And it was a gerbil. I gave birth to a gerbil and I was so in love with my baby. Showing off to everybody like any new mom would.
Cameron
Yeah.
Brittany
And then my brother deep fried.
Derek
Oh, my gosh, Jake.
Cameron
Why would he do that?
Brittany
So Freudian. Whatever. Tell me what that's about.
Cameron
When did this happen? When was this dream?
Brittany
I was like 11, but my reoccurring nightmare as a child was tickling. I would get tickled by monsters.
Derek
Yeah, there's something to that for sure.
Cameron
You're being tickled by monsters.
Brittany
Yes.
Cameron
Okay, well, that's terrifying. That would be the worst thing that a monster could do. Like, if it wasn't gonna kill you. It was like it tickle you, but you had. Because you. That's the worst thing is like, if you were to be tickled and you couldn't stop.
Brittany
I know.
Cameron
I'm so sorry you had to do that.
Andrew
Can you describe the monsters?
Cameron
I don't want to.
Brittany
Because I can't tell you.
Cameron
I promise, I can't tell us one monster.
Brittany
They're all the Same.
Andrew
What do you mean?
Brittany
I can't tell you. No.
Andrew
Move on from, like, a movie.
Brittany
No. You brought my own weird brain.
Derek
So they're all same when she has seen before.
Brittany
No, I'm not saying it.
Derek
Not a fan of the Asian culture.
Cameron
Listen, we have to make assumptions, okay?
Brittany
No, it's completely okay.
Cameron
Just Yao Ming.
Brittany
Stop. Everybody.
Derek
Okay?
Brittany
They were a lot like the monsters in, like, Scooby Doo. The live action Scooby Doo. You remember that?
Cameron
The.
Brittany
Where they can't go in the sun.
Cameron
The voodoo island.
Brittany
Yeah.
Cameron
Oh, no. That was terrifying.
Brittany
But their heads were like football shaped, kind of like, hey, Arnold.
Cameron
Yeah.
Brittany
And they were, like 7ft tall. They were so tall. And their skin. This is what I don't want to tell you. I'm. I'm kind of psychoanalyzing myself right this second while I'm telling you. But they. Their skin was like, poop.
Cameron
Ew.
Brittany
And then when I think about it, I was, like, chronically constipated as a child.
Derek
Do you think it was because I.
Brittany
Was scared of poop or scared to poop?
Cameron
The monsters are tied to me. Tickling. I gotta get them out.
Brittany
And they would tickle me on my stomach, and it would, like, torture, constipation thing.
Cameron
That's a constipation nightmare. 100%. It's all in your stomach. It's tickling you. It's wanting to get out of your body, and you can't let go of it. Yeah, that's constipation dream. We just cured it.
Brittany
Wow. Now I'm gonna start having nightmares.
Andrew
Oh, my gosh. If you have finally put.
Derek
Yay. Mine's always been gators. My recurring nightmare.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
I mean, that makes sense.
Andrew
Yeah.
Brittany
Do you have tornado dreams?
Derek
I do have tornado dreams, dude.
Brittany
Jane. So my mom is, like one of those, like, audible dreamers where she'll. She'll sleep talk or whatever about whatever she's dreaming. And I remember as a child hearing her yell through the house like that as you go, spiders. Like, there were spiders on the walls. We'd ask her about it in the morning. Jane the other night, screams out in the middle of the night and says, spiders. Spiders.
Andrew
Oh, weird.
Brittany
She's having nightmares about spiders.
Cameron
Oh, my goodness.
Brittany
And Josh, you're, like, asleep dreamer, too.
Andrew
That's typically words I usually dream in my sleep talker.
Brittany
Sleep talker. Okay, Andy, you never finished your nightmares.
Cameron
My nightmare, that's the thing. I only get, like, blips. Like, there's a carousel that's involved, but it's all very Black and white. And the thing is, it's drippy where it's in the dream. It feels very like I'm in one place, but then the room keeps, like, pushing out. And, like, things get farther away, but I'm standing still. So, like. But the world is just keeps, like. Like pushing farther away. And it happens sometimes. No joke, when I'm. It happens when I'm praying. Sometimes we're all like. It's like a vertigo where I'll, like, close my eyes and then I'll feel like the whole world is, like, pushing. And it's that one thing that triggers me into that dream almost. It's super strange.
Brittany
But.
Cameron
Yeah, I can only remember, like, there was a dove. There was a lot of. There was, like, my old stepdad that was in it, and he was like, yeah, it's just super. It's not a happy dream at all. And so I'm glad I don't have him anymore as much. But it's super wild. Yeah, I've scared you. Scary dreams are the worst.
Andrew
I've told mine on the podcast before, but where I was asleep in a field without my shirt on, under a tree, and felt leaves blowing across my chest. Don't have dreams. So this is already off to a weird, like, what is going on? And then I just remember the leaves, like, and I like, very physically how that felt on my skin.
Brittany
Yeah.
Andrew
And then hearing were a leaf, and it, like, woke me up. And I thought, like, a leaf had gone off. And then I realized what was on my chest wasn't leaves in my dream. It was a palmetto bug in my sleep. And literally, I flipped the light on and he was, like, running across the floor.
Cameron
Oh, my gosh. Very good.
Andrew
So not so much a dream. My body was like, what's happening? And began to process the room I was in.
Cameron
Yeah, I do love those ones that really do feel real, though. Like, it's like tell. It's like a movie in your sleep. Yeah, it's the best.
Derek
Sometimes they're scary, though.
Brittany
I always know when I'm dreaming.
Cameron
Sometimes the moon turns into four moons and it's really scary.
Derek
Well, I mean, that one. I had this one dream because someone told me one time, I think it's part of, like, the. What do you call it? The lucid dreaming. Yeah, like, one part of it is like, you can look at something and then tell it to change in your dream. And if it changes, then you know you're dreaming and then you're, like, in control of your dream.
Cameron
Sure. Yeah.
Derek
Someone told Me that one time, and I was having this terrible, terrible dream nightmare about, like, the end of the world, and, like, the sun went black, and I'm like, I'm freaking out, and I'm hearing, like. I'm like, oh, my gosh. I remember seeing a bucket in my dream. I'm like, change, Change. Please change. This has to be a dream. And it wasn't changing. I'm like, this is real life.
Cameron
Oh, no.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
And you woke up terrified.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
Yeah.
Brittany
I always know I'm dreaming and I can wake myself up.
Cameron
See? Yeah. Kelsey says she can control her dreams too.
Brittany
Yeah.
Cameron
It's strange to me. I don't know why. Like, it's so different for other people. Like, you think that'd be kind of like, a universal thing.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
I don't know, man. Dreams, like. I mean, you literally, like, in Bible stories, Bible times, like, you hear all the time about dreams meaning something.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
But now we just live in a world where, like.
Derek
Yeah, but also, it does talk about the New Testament of those who are constantly obsessed with interpreting dreams and stuff. And, like, how that's not good.
Cameron
Maybe it is.
Derek
Just. I'm sure you can get dreams from the enemy and, like, be attacked, you know, like.
Brittany
No. Consider that nightmare you had with your buddy.
Derek
Yeah. With Satan on the phone.
Brittany
Yes.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
What?
Derek
The Santeria thing.
Cameron
Camera.
Derek
He pulled my hair out.
Cameron
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That was. That was messed up.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
Dude, I was listening to Blurry Creatures, the newest episode. The guy talk about exorcism stuff. Do you listen?
Derek
I started listening to it.
Cameron
I listened to that with the kids in the car. I was kind of like. I was like, all right, maybe I should turn this off.
Derek
One thing. Yeah. I. I didn't listen to a lot of it, but. Did you hear him talking about the generational curse kind of thing?
Cameron
Yeah, that's what I was kind of like.
Brittany
Wait, tell me about it. Is it gonna scare me, though?
Derek
It's weird.
Cameron
Sort of. Kind of.
Derek
And I don't know. I'm not saying I believe in this.
Cameron
I. I don't know Biblically, where that would back into. Yeah.
Brittany
Old Testament. They talk a lot about, like, the sins of your parents.
Derek
Yeah, they do.
Cameron
But then Jesus talks about it's not.
Brittany
Yeah.
Cameron
You ask whether. What this parents did.
Derek
It was the blind man. Yeah. It was like, it wasn't him or his parents.
Cameron
It's just like. Because it was. It was like, almost like, no, we're done with that. Yeah.
Brittany
Well, is that what he's saying, or is he saying that not all ailments come from this specific thing. Sometimes it is glorify God.
Derek
Yeah. I don't know. I mean, yeah, probably.
Brittany
So tell me, what's up with the guy?
Derek
Well, they. He talks about, like, he didn't refer to him as generational curses.
Cameron
It was like, he definitely mentioned their curses.
Derek
That's what we. Yeah, that's what we'll call it. Just generational curses. And he was talking about certain things in these people's lives of, like, it was like a theme in these people's lives.
Cameron
And one question, like, say your grandparents just had a history of, you know, adultery or something. Like, it was like in their family history or something.
Derek
But apparently there was. He. He would ask these, like, are you. Do you have Scottish. Scottish lineage? Lineage? And. But yeah, I do. And he's like, well, do you know what clan your family comes from? And their name is? Like, he said it's been happened three or four times already. Where apparently way thousand plus years ago. Not. It was probably. No. 500 years ago. There were these clans in Scotland that were just terrible. Pillaging, raping, murdering, all this stuff. And the Pope at the time, the Catholic Church.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
Put a curse on those clans, like.
Cameron
On the walls of their. Like their. Their land and everything.
Derek
Yeah. And apparently there. This curse has been carried down through this lineage and stuff. And I'm just like, I don't know. I mean, that's crazy if this is real. But like, he's talking about, like, if.
Cameron
Yeah, if things aren't going your way or if, like, maybe there's a medical. Something medical that no one can figure out. He says this is a possibility.
Brittany
Yeah.
Cameron
And it definitely, like, makes me feel like. Because obviously that's. That's the whole point. Like, then the conversation, they literally mentioned, like, how this is weird.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
People. This is the blurry part of it. And so I don't know, it really kind of made me think. I definitely turned it off because after a while, like, 30, 40 minutes, and I was like, I don't know if this is super great for the girls.
Brittany
Kelsey in particular is so sensitive to all. All things spiritual. She's like one of the most spiritual ladies I know.
Cameron
And she's so empathetic too, when she just feels everyone's emotions so heavily on herself, which is, I think, a gift.
Brittany
It is a gift, but it's just that.
Cameron
Yeah. It's where our minds feel like we are in control of other people's emotions. That's the difference.
Brittany
I'm like, yeah, okay. What's worth talking about is, like, you've met people in your life that have. Are in all respects, like, just, like, really good people and things just inherently bad happen to them all the time, you know? And you're always like, what's going on here?
Andrew
Well, that's. I would. I would like Job.
Derek
Yeah.
Andrew
That was, like, his entire life. And it's like, every time you see people who are, like, religious and think they can assume why someone's in that situation, it biblically typically ends up the people who think they know what they're talking about have no idea what they're talking about.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
I mean, also in James, it talks about rejoice with every trial and tribulation because it's a adding to your faith, you know?
Brittany
Yeah.
Derek
Or the building up of your faith.
Andrew
Yeah. That's why, like, when I was pastoring, you, like, look at the prosperity gospel and people who are like, do these things because these things happen. Like, you look at all the heroes of the faith, like, all the psalms. Is David being an emo poet because everything's not going his way. And then, yeah, John the Baptist gets his head cut off because a stripper asked for it.
Brittany
You know, like, was she a stripper? I thought she was the queen.
Andrew
No, it was the daughter of the queen, and she danced for them, and it pleased the king so much that he gave them anything they wanted. It was John the Baptist head. That dude was fully devoted until he got his head cut off.
Brittany
Yeah.
Andrew
And so it's like. I mean, I don't. I don't think suffering is directly caused by anything that we do. Can be, obviously, but who knows?
Cameron
A lot of my stuff is self induced. Let's just be honest.
Brittany
No, that's really interesting, though. Scary, though.
Derek
Speaking of self induced, hit us with that beat. Andrew has a reel for us, and he's gonna show us right now. Right now.
Cameron
Right now.
Derek
Oh, yeah, Andrew's got a reel and he's gonna show us right now.
Cameron
Let's see how long we can do it next time. Five minutes.
Brittany
I don't know. What is this?
Derek
Don't click play.
Brittany
All right.
Cameron
It's actually good that she's crocheting because it, like, keeps her hands busy and doesn't, like, just click on the video immediately.
Andrew
We'll have to talk.
Cameron
We've had this problem before, Andy. We had it in the past. I'm sorry.
Brittany
I knit.
Cameron
Oh, knit. Sorry.
Brittany
You see me with a hook over here.
Derek
Are you ready? 3, 2, 1, go.
Andrew
Oppenheimer gender reveal is using flames to pop a little helium.
Derek
Oh, My gosh.
Cameron
It's a bomb.
Andrew
Can you imagine? Dude. So scary.
Cameron
Immediately, the baby just pops out on the floor.
Andrew
Oh, dude, Paige just messaged me. Do you guys see that? Mount Aetna in Italy erupted today.
Derek
Oh, didn't we talk about that a while ago? I mean, not. It was about to erupt.
Andrew
It did. I'm trying to see if anything happened other than it did Mount Aetna.
Brittany
Since. Tourists fleeing, people running for safety.
Andrew
Run.
Cameron
Run. They just probably faked it just to get the tourists out of there. It's blowing.
Derek
Dude, that whole tourist thing in Spain. You saw that?
Cameron
I think I did.
Derek
Like, they're having mass protests in Spain to kick out tourists out of Spain because they're, like, just apparently inundated.
Cameron
I saw one buskin like, like, thrown.
Derek
Stuff at, like, beating up tourists.
Cameron
Yeah. I'm like, what is.
Derek
Come on, guys, relax. And then, do you see? It was France. So Paris just won. Whatever.
Andrew
Champions League.
Derek
Yeah, Champions League.
Cameron
Huge riots.
Derek
They ripped Paris apart.
Cameron
I don't get it. They won, right?
Derek
Yes. They were looting, burning buildings down, flipping cars. There's, like, I think, like, a couple people that died.
Brittany
Why?
Derek
They were just.
Cameron
Hey, they're partying.
Brittany
Celebrating.
Derek
Yeah, dude.
Cameron
Only in America.
Andrew
French.
Derek
You guys got to figure out your what makes you happy.
Cameron
But they say, that's us. They say that's what we do all the time.
Andrew
That's crazy. People on that volcano.
Cameron
Oh, I did see them fleeing, like, running. I saw a real short clip. That's scary, dude.
Derek
Yeah, there's, like, over 600 arrest and, like, dude, you guys just ripped apart your own city. Yeah, because you just won the Champions League. Like, what are you doing?
Andrew
I mean, the same thing happens in college football, though.
Cameron
Philadelphia got destroyed. Yeah.
Andrew
Tear down the goal post.
Derek
People are so dumb.
Cameron
It's our team, dude.
Derek
It's our team.
Andrew
Let's destroy everything.
Cameron
But speaking of the volcano, I literally. This is how just much my mind, I guess. I just don't even. I desensitize. I don't know. But I saw the volcano going off, and I saw the people running from it, and I'm just. Just swiped on past it. I didn't even like, oh, no. I'm like that. It's like, oh, no, what am I doing?
Brittany
That's where we're going. Yeah. Crazy.
Derek
Speaking of swiping past things.
Cameron
No, don't say it, dude. Don't say it.
Derek
Have you guys ever heard of the forgotten female Pope?
Cameron
I think there's a reason why we haven't, Josh. I think there's Probably a good reason why we haven't.
Derek
This is crazy.
Cameron
When did this happen?
Derek
Talking about, like, conspiracy theory early on. This is like 800 A.D. conspiracy, okay.
Cameron
In the Catholic Church.
Derek
In the Catholic Church. All right, so there was this girl, her name was Joan, and she was just a very intelligent girl and would study scripture, all this stuff. And she realized it was during the time. So it was like. Yeah. Or mid-800 A.D. women at this time. It was during the Dark Ages, so they were just. They're treated terribly. In fact, this one nun during that same time wrote about how women weren't even allowed in public. And if they did go in public, you were presumed to be a prostitute. And so that would typically end in you being burned at the stake. Like, they're burning so many women at the stake during the sign.
Cameron
What did the women do to deserve that treatment, though?
Derek
Probably something bottom. Let's not just say like that, like, oh, oh, she. The men were bad. No, I mean, what were the women doing?
Cameron
I'm sure the guys were doing something bad too. But women had to have been really bad to be treated this.
Derek
Exactly. Just kidding. But the Joan. So she disguised herself as a boy at age 12 to advance in academics and stuff like that. And she ended up joining a monastery and just was so brilliant theologically. Ends up becoming a cardinal.
Cameron
Oh, no.
Derek
In the Roman Catholic Church. And she would go to these. What do you call them?
Andrew
Mass.
Derek
No, like, just like the meaning of the council, kind of like whatever within the Catholic Church.
Cameron
Okay.
Derek
And the Pope had died, and they ended up appointing her as Pope. And she went under the name Pope John Anglicus. And she reigned from 855 to 857 A.D. and this is in the Catholic Church history. Well, this I'm getting to.
Cameron
Okay, okay.
Derek
So this happened, and she was reigning for two plus years, but apparently she ended up falling in love with a servant that worked in the Vatican. She conceived a child, dying pregnant Pope, and gave birth during Mass. And the story during Mass. During Mass, and everyone obviously freaked out.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
And the story goes that immediately she was stoned or killed or executed. Like, immediately killed. Yeah. Because it was like, this is an abomination.
Brittany
Look to yourselves.
Derek
You.
Brittany
You guys are the ones that literally elected a woman.
Cameron
First of all, you know, for a moment, they're like, they all thought a miracle happened. They just thought their Pope, the guy just gave birth in front of them. They're like, what does this mean?
Brittany
But wow.
Derek
Apparently after that, the. I mean, to the. To this day, the Vatican's like, that never Happened. That's never happened. Ever. It's been erased from all church history.
Cameron
They've spoke about this, but there was.
Derek
Historians during this time. Even the church historian for the Vatican wrote about it. And then after that, for a couple years after that, they had this thing. It was called. It's called cedia stericoda. Hold on, give me a second. Cedia sterecoria.
Brittany
Good job.
Derek
It's. It translates Latin for pierce chair. But it was basically a throne with a hole in the middle. And after her, they used to check when they would appoint the Pope, they would check to see if it was a boy.
Cameron
Oh, no.
Derek
Or a man.
Cameron
Yeah. Gosh, man.
Derek
But then they're like, that. We never had that. But there's drawings, there's writings all about this chair after Pope Joan.
Cameron
Interesting.
Derek
Yeah.
Brittany
That's hilarious. When you watch a movie. Conclave.
Derek
Yeah, funny. Don't spoil it.
Cameron
But that's probably like. What's your name? Joan.
Derek
Joan.
Cameron
John.
Derek
John.
Cameron
My name is John. Did this chick mooland herself into becoming the Pope?
Derek
Yes.
Cameron
That's kind of cool. Yeah, kind of cool.
Brittany
I think it's cool.
Cameron
I mean, that's. Yeah. I mean, that's sad.
Derek
Think about the context of, like, how women were treated in that time.
Cameron
Dude. Yeah.
Derek
And then they find out she's a woman. Imagine. Because, I mean, riots.
Cameron
Yeah. I mean, like, it'd be crazy. Yeah. France. What France is doing right now.
Derek
And so it would make sense that they would try to completely erase that, because to them, they're like, that looks bad on the Catholic Church in that time because they appoint the next Pope because it's like the ascension of, like, Peter. It's like the next Peter the apostle, you know? And so it's like they made the mistake of choosing a woman.
Andrew
Yeah. The spirit, they claim is a discerning spirit.
Derek
Yeah.
Andrew
Revealing that the spirit was not in anyone willing to speak up.
Derek
Yeah. But it's crazy. I've never heard that. But there's so much proof to this is a true story. Just with the historians alone.
Cameron
Yeah. Just eyewitness testimony, people writing it down.
Derek
But then after that, like in the early first century or the like, 1100-1300, it was just a conspiracy. So anytime someone would, like, talk about it, the Vatican's like, that never happened. What are you talking about? And so they just, like, denied, deny, deny, until it just went away.
Brittany
Yeah. You can gaslight for enough generations, it becomes myth.
Cameron
Just gaslighting women from the get go. No, we didn't.
Derek
800 AD, full circle.
Brittany
Are you Hysterical.
Cameron
Holy water. Her holy water broke, dude.
Derek
I just thought that was insane.
Cameron
That is crazy. I love that story.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
I feel like that's a movie, man. That would be incredible.
Brittany
That's so funny.
Cameron
Who would play who in a movie? Because that's kind of like a comedy, like Kristen Wiig or something like. Oh, no, what did I get myself into? I'm the Pope now. Look, it's an old TV show or something. That's crazy.
Derek
Since we're talking about the Catholic Church, I heard about this one thing, too that I thought was pretty fascinating. So it was the Eucharistic. Sorry, the Eucharistic miracle of Buenos Aires. Have you ever heard of this?
Brittany
No.
Cameron
Sounds familiar. What is that last part? Is that a city or.
Derek
Yeah, in Argentina.
Cameron
Okay. I've heard that before, though. Yeah.
Derek
So in 1996. August 18, 1996, in this one church in Buenos Aires, Argentina, someone found the consecrated host or communion. Like the bread part.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
In a candle holder. And they're like, the way to dispose of that because it's been blessed, you know? So what they would do is he took it and he placed it in a cup of water, basically, and put it back into the. What do you call it? The tabernacle.
Cameron
The candle.
Derek
No, the candle holder. The Eucharist. The bread he put in a cup of water to where it would just dissolve.
Cameron
Got it.
Derek
It's already been blessed. It's like, you can't. You don't just throw it away.
Cameron
It.
Derek
But then on August 26, so, like, 30 days later, he opened it up, and what he saw was the consecrated host, the bread looked like it had blood on it and it had not dissolved at all. And he's like, what in the world? And so he brought in Jorge, who is Pope Francis or was Pope Francis.
Cameron
Oh, no way.
Derek
Yeah, he showed him on September 6, and Pope Francis was basically like, take pictures of it. Document it, because this is crazy, because it wasn't dissolving. If anything, it was actually looking like it was growing and, like, turning into flesh. Flesh and blood. And so what they did was they basically kept it for three years until they were like, okay, let's test to see what it is. So they sent it to this guy, Dr. Frederick Zugabu. Let's just call him Dr. Frederick.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
In New York. Did not tell him what it was, how it happened. They just sent him a sample of it.
Cameron
Yeah. Just test this.
Derek
Yeah. And this doctor, he is a cardiologist and forensic pathologist, and he examined the sample and concluded that it was Human heart muscle tissue from the left ventricle, then ventricle, ventricle, ventricle, ventricle. The left ventricle, which. That's the side of your heart that gives life to the rest of the heart.
Brittany
Stop it right now.
Derek
And he noted that the tissue was inflamed and contained large numbers of white blood cells, indicating that it was alive at the time of sample was taken and had been subjected to severe stress, as if a person had been beaten in the chest area. And then he ran the blood type and the blood type. It was a AB blood. And what is a crazy thing, coincidence, whatever is AB blood is also the same blood type that was found in the Shrouded Tour.
Brittany
Shut up right now. And that's really strange.
Derek
It's not been disproven ever. But the Vatican has also never made an official statement on it because usually it goes through a process to where it's like, this is a miracle that happens. The Vatican goes through this whole process to verify it. The Vaticans never said. Made an official statement about it, but with all the different people studying it, it's never been disproven.
Cameron
Yeah. Also Pope Francis being the one guy that's leading that charge.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
Interesting. That was so scary.
Derek
Yeah, that's.
Cameron
I mean, because it was growing.
Derek
They said it was. It literally like it turned from that big white wafer, you know, it said it literally just like, turned into, like. At first, I got a picture of when it was. It looked like there's blood on it, but then it like, literally looked like it turned into flesh.
Cameron
That's so creepy.
Derek
Yeah.
Andrew
Look at this.
Derek
Hold on.
Cameron
Cool, but creepy.
Brittany
I don't know where.
Cameron
That's wild.
Andrew
I'm just trying to imagine thinking it's the flesh and blood of Jesus and then being like, hold on. Cut me off a piece. I'm gonna send it to my buddy.
Derek
Well, they wanted to test.
Brittany
That's really strange.
Cameron
Yeah, just like, leave it in a, like, glass jar three years and then, like, come back and it's like, just Jesus just chilling, like, yo, hello. That's. I don't like the look of that at all.
Brittany
Yeah.
Cameron
Looks like a pbj.
Derek
But it's great. I mean, it could. I mean, that'd be wild.
Cameron
I mean. Yeah, that would. That's. Yeah, that's something. I. I literally were taking communion yesterday. That. That just runs through my mind of the Eucharist and all that stuff and that, like, it actually turning into flesh and like, that stuff like that. Like. Yeah, don't love that. It's just something like. There's something supernatural about it.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
And I. That takes it to a whole other level.
Derek
Yeah. Have you seen. Speaking of items that have miracles, there's this one picture in this Orthodox church. I think it's. I think it's his. I think it's in. Was it the Mount Atmos in Greece? It's like the Greek Orthodox. Like, one of their monasteries.
Brittany
Yeah.
Derek
But it produces olive oil. And so, like, every day, they literally tip it over and it drains olive oil. And it's been doing that for, like, years.
Brittany
What?
Derek
Yeah. And they call it the miracle of Mount Atmos or something like that.
Cameron
Glowing.
Derek
Yeah. It's this picture of Christ and Mary, and it's like, that's wild. I don't even know.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
Like, if that's a hoax. That's so much work. Like, someone's gonna sneak in there every day and pour a bunch of olive oil in it.
Cameron
Yeah. I mean, it's things like that. It's things like that. And then you see those pictures of the saints and of Jesus that, like, bees will create, like, hornets nest, but it won't cover the face.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
And then, like, why?
Derek
Dude, it's wild.
Cameron
It's crazy to me.
Derek
But the olive oil thing, I thought was dope, because from. I think it was Second Kings, where one of the miracles that Elisha did with that woman who was a widow.
Andrew
Yeah.
Derek
Said, grab every vessel you can and just keep filling up with olive oil. And it said she filled up all the containers, and after the last one was filled, the olive oil stopped.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
I'm like, that's wild. So, like, items can produce.
Brittany
Yeah.
Derek
Something. I'm like, God can use an item. You know, I don't know.
Cameron
But our minds just don't think that. And I think that's where, like, our fine. Like, where faith can really just change everything. He's like, just change even a little bit. Trust that this could happen.
Brittany
Yeah.
Cameron
And blow your mind.
Andrew
And it's so hard, too, because there was. There was a church that's affiliated with. I'm not gonna throw the name, but like, a well known. Like, they're just out there and theologically terrible. Right. And. And they came up with a claim where there's, like, a Bible that was like, water started rushing out of it and it didn't stop. And it's like, it. The church is, like, not biblical at all. Like, none of us would have any problem just immediately being like, y' all are up to something. Y' all are faking this. And so it sucks that stories like that exist when scripturally, these miracles happen.
Derek
Yeah.
Andrew
And so it makes me a skeptic. And anyone, like, think about the people who, like, aren't Christians and they're hearing these stories, and it just puts us. It puts those people and the skeptics and, like, we have grounds to be skeptical, even though biblically, that stuff can happen.
Derek
Yeah. There's one. It was a documentary called the Finger of God.
Andrew
Okay.
Derek
And it was this whole movement in the charismatic church where apparently, like, during these worship sessions, like, gold dust was coming down, and then all of a sudden, someone would have a gold tooth. I'm like, I don't know about that.
Cameron
Yeah.
Andrew
I'm like, this seems a little. I don't know about that.
Derek
But then, like, people would, like, have, like, these rubies and stuff in their Bible. I'm like. And that's the part where you're just, like, the skeptic. You're just like. It almost takes away from, like, could this picture Bible in Greece, could it be an actual, like.
Brittany
Yeah.
Derek
Miracle. Yeah. And could this gold teeth thing be.
Cameron
A hoax or whatever? Yeah.
Derek
I'm siding with the hoax side because it's like a go. This. Everyone had, like, it was like their back molar.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
Just a gold tooth. I'm like, why would God put a gold tooth in your mouth? That's cool.
Cameron
That's awesome. If he did it, that's great. But what's the point?
Andrew
Did. Did I ever tell you guys about my, like, real encounter with the. Someone who was, I think, possessed? Like, Like, I actually, like, this is my eyes. Did I ever tell you this story? We're at a student life.
Cameron
I don't think so.
Derek
Okay, so with the electric stuff, right? Yeah.
Andrew
I don't know if you told. Okay, I'll.
Derek
Yeah, I'll give.
Andrew
I'll give a shortened version. We're at a student life. I'm a leader at this camp and a skeptic, first and foremost. Like. Like, that's just how I'm wired, is to be skeptical. And so worship is, you know, it's like one of the. It's the middle of the week, and I remember there's just a lot of kids having real moments in this worship session. It's a. It's a good night. And we're down at the front, the band is playing, and this girl falls to the ground and is convulsing. And, like, could have been a seizure type thing. And, like, that's how this starts out. And then we kind of, like, we look down at her, and then other friends are coming down. And so it's like, this person is coherent. They're just. You know, sometimes kids act weird. And we're like, you don't. We don't know what's going on. And me and my buddy, our reaction is we think this girl is just in the middle of something. So he gets down next to her. It's like, okay, this isn't medical, is what I'm saying. Like, this wasn't, like, negligence. Like, when we realize it's not medical, it's like he gets down on his, like, next door, puts that hand just kind of, like, on her shoulder and begins to, like, pray for her. He's like, I don't know what else to do. And I'm here. I witnessed this. She turns around. This is like a middle school, like, small, little girl. And she turns around and goes, get off me. Like, like, literally heard that. And then she hits the floor again and starts ripping at cables underneath the stage. Like she's trying to stop whatever's going on. My buddy's over six foot tall, and just, like, you want to talk about a big man looking terrified? Literally just, like, reacted. Backed up, is freaked out. And then. And then we're now at the back of kind of just in the room going like.
Cameron
Like, what.
Andrew
What just happened? And then up in the rafters, AC unit catches fire. Like, no joke. I was there. This is.
Cameron
This is weird.
Andrew
Not making up any of this. They shut everything down, evacuate everybody. And then so they're like, yeah, it caught fire for safety. We needed to kick everyone out. And then we're going, like, what. What happened to that girl? We see her with paramedics, and they're like, oh, yeah, she was having a seizure. I was like. I watched her talk while she was having the seizure. I was like, that wasn't a seizure. Like, I heard her say, get off me.
Cameron
Yeah.
Andrew
So, like, I'm a skeptic.
Derek
Yeah.
Andrew
But that realm exists. All week, what we believe, what I. What I told the kids, because, you know, we got all these kids in our youth group. They're freaking out. And what I said is, we don't have to fear because the. You know, the power that is in us is greater than the power that will cause that. And all that means is the devil's throwing a tantrum because of whatever good was happening here.
Derek
Yeah.
Andrew
And so that's. That's what we took away from that. But that. That's probably my most convincing encounter with.
Derek
And that's the thing, especially In America or any, like, westernized country is like, we are so not, like, attuned to seeing, like, demon possession stuff like that. But if you go to these third world countries and stuff, dude, it's. It's very prevalent. It's very real.
Cameron
Yeah. Because he has control there.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
Or it's just distraction. Yeah.
Derek
Differently, I think, like, for us, you know.
Cameron
No, totally. Yeah.
Derek
If anything, we, like, glorify possession, you know, like, by making movies and like.
Brittany
Oh, yeah.
Andrew
I just remember the rest of the story because my buddy was so freaked out all night, and it was the middle of the night, and all the middle school boys were. They decided they're all going to sleep in a room. And the leader was like, I'm not sleeping in my room by myself either. So he's, like, freaked out. But I remember I'm in my room and I remember in the middle of the night hearing a scream, and he went to the bathroom, didn't lock the door, and as he's going, a kid walked in and freaked him out, but he had turned and just his stream launched over the room. But everyone's so jumpy.
Derek
Oh, that reminds me of when we were at the Airbnb for the Halloween episode. Like our first Halloween episode.
Cameron
Okay. Yeah.
Derek
And we were talking, doing the. Your ghost story. That Andy Danoon.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
And that whole night you're just listening to worship music.
Andrew
I felt slaves of worship music that night, dude.
Derek
100, like, so loud. I was just like. It was so funny.
Cameron
Not dealing with it.
Derek
Nope. Oh, yeah.
Cameron
I don't like it.
Derek
It's real, people.
Cameron
It's very real.
Derek
So is Jesus.
Andrew
Yeah. Not to be feared, but it is real.
Cameron
There was some guy I. I talked to you about my professor at college who, like, apparently that dealt with a lot of that stuff when his younger years of ministry and warned us about it. And I remember the words he said, and that's why it's just stuck with me. And that's the one. I told it on the pod, what he told us and everything. Someone reached out, they're like, listen, I don't. I don't know you. I listen to the podcast, though. I also went to Ozark. Was the professor would you know Woody Wilkinson? Because he said the exact same thing to me. Like, and he went years before.
Derek
Oh, wow.
Cameron
So it was one of those things where it's like he had been pushing, like, do not mess with this stuff. It's real.
Derek
Yeah. Don't touch it, but don't try to figure it out.
Cameron
Yeah. Yeah. Just know that it's real and understand that, like, that. That Jesus has more power and hopefully you don't ever have to come in contact with that. But, yeah, stuff is scary. But we. Yeah, we do all that. Movies and stuff like that. That's why the guy in the blurry episode, I was like. He was just like. We just. We think it looks a certain way.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
But I'm like, I don't even want to be around possession.
Derek
In Scripture sometimes. It was a kid that was just.
Cameron
Mute, you know, it was just a physical ailment. Sometimes.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
Yeah.
Derek
It's crazy.
Cameron
Really strange. So it makes you wonder if that stuff does exist now, which obviously it does. How do you know the difference? And, yeah, I mean, the only way is Jesus.
Andrew
We talking about sword and pencil guy on blurry. He has that take on.
Derek
No, I liked his little. I saw the Sword and pencil.
Andrew
This is his book, Shout Out.
Derek
I'm like, halfway through it. That's why I haven't talked.
Cameron
It's a good audible book, too.
Derek
It's very good.
Andrew
No, but, no, he talked about, like, possession doesn't always look like flames and fire and stuff. He was, like, talking about how, like, he said, like, white IKEA floors can be, like, the. The death of creativity. And I. I think I. His point was like, we're meant to model the creator and, like, beauty exists to reflect the creator, and so the demonic realm would want to remove us. I think that's part of removing us from nature. You want to talk about, like, AI and like, all of that sort of stuff.
Cameron
Community.
Andrew
Yeah.
Derek
You know, Satan, the first thing that he attacked in America was changing how McDonald's look.
Andrew
Yeah, 110.
Brittany
Yes.
Derek
Now they all look like hospitals. They used to be so fun, colorful.
Cameron
The Wendy's sun room. The glass windows.
Derek
Yeah. Scenes like.
Cameron
No, not a chance.
Derek
Gray.
Cameron
Not on my watch.
Andrew
I saw a thing. Try explaining to someone now that you looked forward to celebrating your birthday at a McDonald's.
Derek
I know, right?
Andrew
Yeah.
Derek
Used to be so rad, man. These have, like, Nintendo 64 in there, dude.
Andrew
But there was always one kid who wouldn't get off it.
Derek
Yeah, you were that kid, weren't you?
Andrew
Probably speaking of that kid just need.
Cameron
A cheeseburger in the whole thing.
Derek
Just getting ketchup everywhere.
Cameron
Can we play? Get lost, kid.
Andrew
You lost, kid. You have a full beard.
Cameron
I'm literally an adult. Still. Still doing it.
Brittany
I would have. They said it back and they would have been like, beat it, twerp.
Derek
Yeah. Anyway, speaking of twerps, we got a Patreon episode right after this. Patreon.com forward slash. Ninjas are butterflies.
Cameron
Absolutely.
Derek
Actually be dolphins are aliens is our Patreon. Patreon. Patreon episodes.
Cameron
El Patrion. Listen, you guys get discount merches with it. Behind the scenes footage of all of our fun stuff that we get to do in the office. It's a blast. So go there. Derek
Yeah, so it already has. We've had to reprint it once and I don't know if we're going to reprint again. So go get it, please. And you guys, on Patreon, I am going to be talking about the moon because I've been wanting to talk about this for like three weeks now and haven't had a chance to yet.
Andrew
I've got a Bigfoot story too.
Cameron
And we got to talk about Boulder, Colorado. All the stuff that happened over there over the weekend. Really intense stuff.
Andrew
We all prepared so much and didn't get to any of it.
Derek
It was good though.
Andrew
Yeah, that was a fun combo.
Derek
Yeah. Make sure to subscribe to our YouTube comment. Where they coming? Your weirdest.
Andrew
I think they should psychoanalyze our dreams.
Derek
Oh, yeah?
Cameron
What do our dreams mean?
Derek
Yeah, interpret our dreams, please, and follow us on Spotify. All that good stuff.
Cameron
The only reason we're going up in rankings is literally because you guys are listening. Leaving reviews. So please, if you haven't left a review, please go to Spotify.
Derek
Only five stars.
Cameron
Leave a review. Five stars. Even if you hate us, give us five stars and then just roast us in that review.
Derek

Cameron
You can leave a review right here in the complaint department in the trash recycle bin.

Send them or recycle it into something good.
Cameron
Y.
Derek
All right, guys, we love you.
Cameron
We love you.
Derek
See you on Patreon.
Cameron
What you're about to see may disturb you.
Derek
Nominal. If any of you know what these.
Andrew
Multi decade UAP are.
Cameron
Aliens.
Derek
Bottle nose fish pics.
Cameron
There's a massive police response. The dolphin thing.
Andrew
Dolphin sty.
Brittany
We never said thank you.
Andrew
Oh, let's do that for the outro. We don't have to do that.
Cameron
We're doing thumbnails right now. But also, listen, we want to thank everyone who send us gifts. We've had a lot of people send us stuff. But right now we got a gift. Mike.
Derek
Mike from Sendero.
Cameron
Sendero. Look at these hats. Really, really awesome.
Brittany
Thank you. My favorite stuff ever.
Cameron
Someone sent us something recently, too, right? Oh, the. The light.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
Yeah. I can't remember his name, but the Christmas lights with the covers. Super, super neat.
Derek
Yeah.
Cameron
And.
Andrew
And we got these seasonings. Flavors of the forest. Dude, I've been using them. Sent me some, and then I told him you guys were jealous, and he hooked all you guys up, and so we got everything.
Cameron
It's nice, fine powder.
Andrew
It's like garlic dust. You should. You should give it a taste right now.
Cameron
It's very flavorful.
Andrew
Just kidding. It's straight garlic.
Cameron
But as soon as you open it, it does release a cloud, and you breathe it in through your nose, and you don't ever have to worry about your allergies ever again.
Andrew
I think they freeze dry garlic and then grind it up into a powder.
Cameron
I dehydrate it, probably.
Andrew
Yeah. But lion's mane is my favorite.
Brittany
Okay.
Cameron
Very good.
Andrew
Good stuff.
