A
I actually just got a pair of golf pants and a couple of shirts
C
from Quints and I've been wearing those sleepwear sweatpants. They fit surprisingly well. It feels like something from a high end brand without the high end price tag.
A
That's really the whole thing.

Yes.

Former Green Beret Paul Bach spent years serving in some of America's most classified missions.
A
Today, he investigates something even stranger. UFOs shadow people in the entities people claim they've encountered.
E
After years of interviewing intelligence personnel and investigating the UAP phenomenon, Paul says that
C
there's one question that every single person on this planet needs to be prepared to answer.
A
Not whether UFOs are real, but what they really are.
E
And if he's right, it changes everything.
F
This is Ninjas are Butterflies Episode 206
E
this podcast is brought to you and powered by Sunday. Cool.
A
Watch this or listen. All right.
B
Ready to rock.
A
Ready to rock and roll. Paul Bach is on the Show. Bach.
C
Bach.
D
I'm tired of talking about me. You talk about me.
A
All right, Paul Bach is in the building. Welcome.
C
We're here.
A
Are you comfy?
D
Very, very comfortable. Need to see my chiropractor. Oh, yeah, so that would help, but obviously he's not here, so. But Josh promised me a good rub down.
A
Yeah, yeah.
C
That was the payment for dinner.
A
How do we feel about men giving women massages at a massage place?
C
I wouldn't want a massage from a man.
A
Oh, well, what about your wife getting massage from a man?
C
I mean, I don't love it, but I. But I understand it because it's like, I wouldn't want a massage from a man, so I wouldn't think a. Women.
A
I only asked that because Lily just got a massage and it's from a man.
D
They can get in deep.
A
Yeah.
D
And get those knots out.
A
She said, he did a very good job. And I'm like, okay, you don't have to tell him.
C
You don't have to tell me that.
D
You can just say it was okay.
A
It's like, it was a really good Christian guy, though. I'm like, that doesn't actually help.
C
He was really funny. He was really thoughtful.
E
He's like.
A
He was very tall, too. I'm like, all right, chill out, chill out. So, yeah, he was like six, four. I'm like, okay, all right. Was it something like that? Something exotic, something European?
E
Starts describing.
D
His hands feel very good right now.
A
Just sit back and relax.
B
Breathe.
C
All right, Hans, your husband doesn't appreciate you.
D
Okay, all right, all right. Okay.
B
Relax.
A
Oh, man.
C
Paul, thanks for coming, man.
D
Yeah, no worries.
C
Appreciate it. You got a book out the disclosure agenda.
D
It's not out yet. It is coming out. So let's.
F
Let's.
D
Let's be exact.
C
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
D
Don't want people to pick apart our words.
A
But you can pre order it on Amazon, right? Yes, yes, Amazon.
C
You printed these in the Amazon?
D
Well, I mean, there are a lot of trees, so there's lots of sources for paper. People don't like that, but, you know, you got to do what you have.
C
It's the world we live in.
E
Regenerative.
C
We're going to dive into that book.
E
We are going to dive in.
A
Got a lot to talk about today, Paul.
D
That's the goal, right? I mean, hence why we have microphones and.
A
Yeah.
D
Headphones.
C
And what if we didn't mention any? We just talked about our favorite, like, foods and stuff. Because that's what I'm into.
D
Medium beer, steak, scallops.
A
We talk About Love island the whole time.
C
Oh, we could be a Love island rewatch podcast. Speaking of, I've said in so many audition tapes to that show, it's ridiculous.
A
You know, people bet on it.
C
Oh, they bet on anything.
E
Dude, that's crazy.
D
Was it Cowshe and all the other dad. Yeah, that's not bad at all. Hey, let's just advertise gambling to all the children. Get them hooked at a young age.
C
Problem. Been saying this for so long. Oh, my God. Huge problem. I get so many ads for it. It makes me just like, turn more off to it. Like I have no desire, you know?
A
It is cool, though. I just found an app this morning
E
called
A
blah, blah, blah, blah. This is not a sponsor. I just thought it was really cool and I want to do it with you guys.
D
Well, while he's looking for that, you guys do know the statistics, right?
E
Of what?
D
Gamblers.
A
No.
D
90, 95% of gamblers tend to quit right before their big win.
C
Yeah.
A
Wow.
E
Of course.
C
Of course. Yeah.
D
Nobody wants. Nobody likes a quitter.
C
And whenever they. Whenever they quit, you got to celebrate by doing some gambling.
E
That's why I still have all of my doge. Okay.
A
This app is called Stepa Steppa. And it's basically you go on and you can put in like 45 bucks. And it's a challenge. It's a walking challenge. Okay, so like this one, the prize pool is 15 grand, and it's a 15 day challenge to hit 8,500 steps every day for 15 days. And you don't get the full amount. Whoever wins in that, they split it up the pot.
C
No way.
A
Yeah.
C
That's kind of cool. I'm down for that. That's not so much gambling as it is like a challenge.
E
Right?
C
Like, yeah, I feel like that's different than gambling.
D
8,500 steps a day.
A
Yeah.
C
It's easy, right?
D
That's not terrible. As long as you're walking up around down your house, all that stuff, you'll hit that pretty quick.
A
I average about 2,000 steps a day, so.
D
Well, you. You mean you sit in the big back office, right?
A
Oh, yeah.
D
You make the other people do the steps.
E
Exactly.
A
That's right.
C
I'll just take my apple.
F
Watch.
A
I will. I'll probably attach it to my kids.
C
Get my coffee. Yeah, yeah.
E
Fetch with the dog.
C
That's probably what they're doing, dude. I mean, money's on the line. You're probably throwing that on your kid, your dog.
E
I'm sure that's what Josh has done in our hike To Mordor, dude.
A
No way, dude. I don't cheat, dude.
E
I was so far ahead of you, and you've dusted me.
A
We have this app, it's called. I don't even know. It's the fantasy hike.
D
Yeah. You can go to Mordor.
F
Yeah.
D
The Lonely Mountain.
A
So we're all racing, and I'm like, a hundred miles ahead of Andrew.
C
Well, that's the thing. I went to Disney.
E
I had a kid. I was ahead for two kids.
C
I was.
A
They run around.
C
We went to Disney. We got back in the car after Disney walking all morning, right? And Demi's like. Because she has a watch, too. She's like, how many steps you got, dad? Because she tries to beat me. And I look at my phone because I didn't have my Apple Watch. Zero.
A
It's a negative 8,000.
B
So that's the thing.
C
It's not even tracking me now. So it's like I have to reset everything. I'm losing all these steps.
A
Yeah, you gotta reset it, man.
B
I know.
D
I'm sure there's a lawsuit, right? You could go like, hey, you lost me money.
C
Yeah.
D
You lost me a bet.
C
Oh, yeah. I'll see you in court.
E
Yeah.
C
Mr. Steppa.
A
Mr. Steppa.
C
Mr.— Steppa.
A
Speaking of going to court, do you want a song?
D
Bard, Enter. Play a song.
C
Play me a song.
D
Play a song for the dollar bill.
C
Do you have a genre in mind that you would love us to sing?
E
Anything.
A
We'll just improvise something.
D
Yeah, it's Improvise. Foreign. I'm a Yelper, so if it's not good, you're gonna lose a star.
E
Hey, I'm okay with that. I want honest feedback. But give me a genre. Hip hop.
C
Okay. We can do hip hop. That's easy.
A
Yeah.
C
Yeah.
E
All right, here we go.
F
Every civilization has its legends. Stories pass down from one generation to the next. Humans tell stories of monsters under the bed of ghosts in the dark of creatures that come in the night.
D
But far beyond the skies.
F
The aliens tell only one story. Not to entertain, but to warn. Every night, before the little gray children close their eyes, their parents gather. Gather them close and whisper. If you're good, he won't find you. Because there is one name feared in every galaxy. One warrior. The hunter of aliens. His name, Paul Bok.
A
He marched through the desert where no shadow stayed. The stars themselves scattered wherever he prayed. He captured a saucer with nothing but grit, then sent all the pilots home
E
from trembling from it.
D
The grays all retreated whenever he'd stand.
C
Bigfoot, peed his pants when he shook his hand they stared at the mothman it begged him for peace. Nothing could smell stop him.
D
Nothing makes him cease. Aliens all hide when they hear a knock.
C
Cause they know who it is.
E
Oh, no.
D
It's Bok. Hunter of alien. Slayer of saucers. Terror of Mars.
F
Paul Buck, the Green Beret legend the
D
reason of the galaxy Locks all its doors.
F
And on the seventh night, the heavens fell silent. The stars refused to shine.
D
Not because darkness was coming.
F
No. But because they knew Paul Buck was awake.
D
Paul Buck, hunter of aliens, breaker of
B
UFOs, keeper of Earth.
D
Paul Buck, last of the warriors.
F
A legend of the cosmos.
D
It still feels today.
C
Hip hop, ladies and gentlemen.
D
That is hip hop.
A
That is hip hop.
D
So I would say. I would say this is just my personal review is having somebody that played classical piano for a very long time. Ooh, that well done. More of a mix of Tenacious D and hi Lung. However.
E
Fair. That's fair.
D
I can see the attempt and I can. I can give you grace.
E
See, now I'm gonna go and post. I'm gonna add drums and I'm gonna make it hip hop. There you go.
D
Screw that guy.
A
Oh, yeah.
C
Very good.
A
Very good.
C
You get sung to a lot.
D
I sing to myself.
C
Yeah.
D
That counts, you know.
A
Yeah.
C
You know, it's not the same though, right?
D
At night, scared.
C
Yeah.
D
You know, hunting aliens. Yeah. Just like.
C
What's your. What's your go to? Cool. Calm the nerves.
D
Probably Zombie by the Cranberries, maybe.
A
Nice.
C
Classic. Classic.
A
My five year old loves that song.
D
It's a good song.
A
She loves.
D
I mean, the 90s. I mean, back the Mute. They don't have bands like that anymore.
A
No.
D
You know Rick D's in the weekly top 40? You got the. We had actual legit bands and not all this freaking electronic K pop crap.
A
Just kidding. I just insulted an entire country. I'm sorry. South Korea.
D
No, no, no, I'm not.
B
Not my K Pop.
A
I'm not.
E
Sorry.
C
You know what?
D
No, say more, say more.
A
All right, here's a list.
D
Look, just don't put the shovel down, man.
F
Just keep digging.
A
Keep digging, man. This is gonna be a great episode. But, Paul, unfortunately, we have to get into the. We gotta get into the weeds.
D
Well, ask me the question. Oh, hey, pop that cherry, man. Let's get it going.
C
He knows. He knows the drill.
A
All right. Well, I mean, yeah, I'll give it to him then. Yeah. So we get billions of questions sitting in every day.
D
I see that. I see the telegrams all over.
E
Yep.
A
Everywhere.
D
I Don't know how to keep it straight.
A
They just. I mean, letters just flood in billions.
C
And when they found out Paul Bach was gonna be on the podcast, they're like, we have one question for you.
A
We have one question. Collectively, they all came together and like asked this question, which is really incredible. It's really incredible how they were able to mobilize like that. I'll just get on with it. Paul, Today's question, sent in by a viewer. Is it possible that aliens are demons? Again, let me preface. Let me preface.
E
It's a.
A
It's a. It's a yes or no. We don't make the rules, Paul.
C
We wish we did, but we can't.
A
It's just a yes or no. We don't. We just don't expound upon it.
D
Is it possible?
A
Yeah, is it possible aliens are demons?
D
Given what we know about natural evolution, the answer would be no, no, no. It can't be due to evolution. What the science says. I mean, clearly they're a higher evolved to entity. It's here for our benefit. So.
E
No, he's dodging the.
C
So you're saying they're an entity?
D
Yeah, they're entity. They're a higher evolved species. So given what science says regarding evolution.
A
Evolved?
F
Yeah, of course.
D
We all. We know evolution is true. Guys, we know this. So I would say.
C
No, I. Higher evolved entity.
A
Keep going.
C
I mean, this is. These are the words that Paul is using to describe aliens. Yeah, and obviously we're talking about.
D
Well, I'm just going with the science, man. I'm going with the scientists. Say they matter.
A
What are we talking about, Andy?
C
We're talking about what the government would call illegal aliens. And you're calling them higher up, like evolved entities when they're just people at the end of the day.
D
So you're gonna denigrate them?
C
No, I'm gonna go get.
D
I hear some privilege coming through.
B
Wow.
A
Timeout. Hold on.
B
Hey, pot.
C
Are you calling this guy black? Pop black? Yeah, exactly. Kettle black.
A
I mean, Andrew, he's Chinese.
D
Mexican, sure. He's not Korean? You mean you were just slamming that
C
one and now you're assuming he's Korean?
D
Wow, that sounds like privilege to me.
A
That sure does. Well, I guess you guys heard it here first.
D
Andrews.
C
Korean.
A
Andrews. Paul thinks Andrew's Korean. What the heck? Welcome to the show.
D
Did I say ninja?
F
I meant. All right, you've got one choice. Okay? Brand new Lamborghini Hennessy Velociraptor, custom Bronco, or a hundred grand cash. I'll take the cash. You didn't even think about it. Why?
A
Because Brett is literally giving one person $50,000.

D
Beautiful.
C
That was beautiful. We are fully expecting you to say yes. We had to pivot.
E
Yes, we did.
A
Yes, we did.
E
Yeah. Something about turning that to Asian jokes and making me hit a gong. Just.
C
It wouldn't be racist if we demanded you hit it.
E
Yeah.
A
Yeah. We are so fortunate to have an Asian on the show.
C
Yeah, that's. We're privileged because of that.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
E
You get to get away with it all.
A
So, Paul, in the song, we mentioned a couple things. One, you were a Green Beret.
D
Yes.
A
Can you tell us about that?
B
Yeah.
D
What do you want to know?
B
Background.
D
Just how it all went down.
E
So I'll be completely honest with you. Yes. Grew up in a military community. Okay. My dad's retired Air Force. We were in Hurlburt, Eglin, Dukes, Right there. Like that whole area.
C
Yeah.
E
But I did have to chat. GPT. Please explain to me exactly what a Green Beret is. So I would, rather than trusting AI, let you unpack what that means.
D
So. So Green Berets, obviously, we have special operational forces. You have SEALs for the Navy, you have. You have CAG for the army, and then you have, like, DEVGRU and all that stuff. But then Rangers are special operations forces, and then Green Berets are specifically. We actually hold the title of Special Forces. U.S. army Special Forces are basically bread and butter, is what we would call unconventional warfare. So whereas you have people like the SEALs that are shooters, kicking down doors, doing missions like that. You talk to SEALs, they're going to say, I'm a shooter. Or that's kind of tending to be the missions that they take up, plus all the underwater stuff that they do. For Green Berets, we really came out of the oss. When the OSS kind of went away, it split. One part became the CIA, the other part became the Green Berets. And we were used very heavily in Vietnam because of our ability with unconventional warfare. Basically, there's multiple steps within unconventional warfare to train. You meet up. There's different, like, seven different steps. You prep the environment, you make, link up with a group of people in regards to, say it's an insurgency that you're trying to build up to cause chaos within a certain country. Go after and go after infrastructure, things like that. You. The reason we are so successful is that we don't just train people to do things. By doctrine, we train cadre.
A
So what does that mean?
D
Yeah, so it's like, train the trainers, basically.
A
Oh, okay.
D
So by doctrine, on unconventional warfare, I'd take you three. I wouldn't train you to go, hey, go hit this piece of infrastructure. Go hit this building, whatever. I would take you, and then my other guys would train as well, and we would train you to train other people to do it. So you'd take 10 guys. You'd take 10 guys. You take 10 guys. And now I got 30 guys. And from that I can. Excuse me, Caffeine we can basically be like cancer, spread out and hit a lot more things. So unconventional warfare is kind of our bread and butter by, with and through working alongside different forces. Now, obviously there's within unconventional warfare. That's one of our mission sets. We also have when we're working with partner nations, training along their forces. So an example, when I went to Afghanistan, we actually went and trained alongside the Emirati safety. And going to Afghanistan with the Emiratis, we train with Jordanian. So for me specifically, right. I was a fifth Special Forces Group. Every Special Forces group is responsible for a different area of the world. So in the qualification course, you're learning languages. That's part of the training for languages in that region. So seventh group is responsible for South America, they learn Spanish. We fifth group, Middle east, we're learning Arabic. So in that case, when it came to Iraq, we were going in and either standing up elements, training Iraqis, working with their armies. We, for my team in Beijing example, the Beiji Swat is where we were in Beijing, in Salahuddin Province. So the Beiji Swat, their local major police force, in a sense, it wasn't the exactly police, they were just the swat. We worked alongside them and ran missions with them and trained them up. We also stood up a commando element for our region. So the Iraqi government for their military wanted a commando element set up. So we ran a whole training poi, built that out and trained up and stood up that commando element to then be able to go run missions. So we a lot of working with people and networks and things like that. So there's. And that's just a bit of what we do. We're not really door kickers. While that is part of our mission set, at times, that's not the primary. The primary thing that we're doing is building relationships, building rapport, working alongside people to accomplish the task and basically train and then use them in order to accomplish the mission together.
A
Wow. So basically it sounds really easy.
D
Oh yeah, super easy.
E
It sounds biblical when I was looking at. Because you guys run in 12 man groups, right?
D
Yeah, yeah. I like to say Jesus was the first.
E
First. I mean, that's what it sounds like.
D
Literally disciple me disciples, showing them what to do. And then they went and replicated.
A
Wow, that's super cool.
D
Yeah, that's. That's generally what Green Berets do. And then we. We have a. It's kind of one of the things you learn when you get to group is it usually takes about two to three years to really get your feet under you because it's just, you know, you're. It's just so vast because the things that you're doing have massive third and fourth order effects within entire regions and nations. You know, you've got to maintain rapport with people.
E
Yeah.
D
And with your local populace, and you're dealing with cultures that are very, very different. So you kind of have to integrate and become a lot like them.
A
Wow.
D
So this.
E
Without naming, like, different, like who's been in office or a specific timeline. I would imagine whichever president or whichever person in charge. Because, like, I've heard stories of different presidents wanting different things mobile. And then another president comes in and kind of completely will change their, like, foreign policy and things they want to be doing. That has to have tremendous effect while you're in a region. Right. Like, I mean. Or does it.
D
It can, you know, one of the things, again, like, you'll have some teams deploying into a war zone, and other teams are going to another nation that's a partner nation to just do training with their military, you know, so it. It varies, man. And it's always changing. It's always changing because the environment always changes, the missions always change, national policy always changes, and you just adapt and do whatever you're gonna do in whatever capacity you have to.
A
So you were in Afghanistan for a while?
D
Yeah, yeah. I did three trips to Iraq, one to Afghanistan, and then one to Syria.
A
Were you there? Do you know, like, the Kandahar Giant stuff?
E
You ever been to Oman? My dad set up the relief base in Oman while he was services in the Air Force.
D
I was not in Oman.
A
No.
D
I've been to Qatar, I've been to Jordan, I've been to uae. I've been to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria.
E
Gotcha.
A
Dang.
E
That was sick. When my dad was. He was setting up the relief base over there, and he literally, like, this is like, when it was harder to get phone calls through. But I remember he called me. He's like, a bunch of dudes over here play music, and I have no idea what to order. So I got to, like, pick all the instruments. He set up, like, a stage. He was like, music is like therapy and, like, relief. So he actually, like, if someone was over there and, like, did. Came through Aman after, like, combat, high chance that, like, the instruments they were playing, I got to order. So I was like, super cool. Yeah. Yeah.
C
I'm. I'm just curious because that's enough.
B
What?
C
Your whole life is fascinating. I mean, starting off, I mean, being a Green Beret, your unconventional warfare, counter terrorism, all that stuff.
D
Yeah.
C
And now you're investigating UFOs. Simply put. Like, how does that transition happen?
D
Yeah. So basically, when I got back from Afghanistan, I'll kind of walk this one back a little bit because I have to give a context to it and how it. Because it's all God, man. Like, ultimately, it's all God. I mean, you guys know this. You know, Josh, you and I talked about this, how. How God, you. You have these things, right? Proverbs, right? Yeah, man. He makes his plans, but the Lord directs his steps.
A
Yeah.
D
So we can look back and say, yeah, I had no idea that God was going to draw me into this, but he did. So after my. My dad, after the towers went down, went back into the army and he was deploying to OIF3, so I wasn't really doing much with my life, so I was like, all right, let's. Let's go do this thing. You can't be the only one that gets to have fun. We talked about some different things. I'd actually was going to be going into a reserve unit for the firefighters because I was like, hey, I'm not doing anything. You know what? I want to go look at firefighting. And so if I get in a reserve unit, I'll get the training, then I can go onto a department somewhere in Indiana or somewhere else in the country. Really felt that that was not where God was calling me. And even though I wasn't fully walking with the Lord, I was saved. I trust in Christ for salvation. But a friend of mine, her fiance was in the 18x ray program. And that program is basically set up so if you meet certain qualifications and you pass certain gates, you get a chance to go to Special Forces Assessment and selection. So that's the path that I took. Made selection in 05, ended the qualification course in April of 07, hit 5th Special Forces Group, deployed. Ran the trips to Iraq, ran it to Afghanistan, came back. But for the time, even though I was a Christian, I wasn't. Wasn't really living it. You know, it's one of those things, like, if you put me up on trial for being a Christian, there's not enough evidence to convict me.
A
True that.
D
So on that trip, it was when I was burned out. Right. I deployed in 07, 08, 09, 10, and then hopped to Afghanistan 11 to 12. So, you know, you're talking five years, basically four rotations. I was burned out. I was tired. Lost some friends from different groups, guys that I'd known very well. And then right before Afghanistan, my Wife had lost a pregnancy and then in the middle of the trip, she lost the next one and she had to carry the baby for a little while. And so that was really hard for us. But then on the trip, like, it was, it was fun, but it was, it was kind of the perfect trip for a guy. Like we were showering every seven, eight days. We had 80 second kids with us. It was just nasty moon dust everywhere. But they didn't want to have firefights with us because basically they what we were told because we actually had a Taliban guy come to one of our shuras and he said, hey, like we, we are not going to fight you bearded ones. But, but if the British come, we will fight them every day. Like they're still pissed off about the end of the Caliphate, but so what they did instead is they put pressure plates everywhere. And so every dad gum day we had Navy EOD tech, Chad Reg, and then we had our dog handler and we were just going out every day getting all the pressure plates. I actually, I actually almost stepped on when I was about a quarter inch off. I see this little red thing and I'm like, reg, Reg. And you know, ah, it's 20 pounder. Just bend your legs like, oh, thanks, bro. You know, but so we were getting all the pressure plates taken care of and. But so what they did is they did a command dead on us. They Daisy chained three IEDs together. And as my team was walking through, they clacked it off on us, shot my buddy Joe in the ditch, and then it killed regular.
A
Oh my God.
D
So come home off that rotation, I'm burned out. We just lost Reg, lost the pregnancies, my other friends. I'm just like, yeah, yeah, I'm done, man. I'm, I'm fried. Like, I'm burned out. So I'm just literally getting alcohol every day, coming home, drinking. On the way home from that trip, though, as we were working on getting home, a buddy of mine, my medic was like, hey, have you ever heard Learn The Bible in 24 Hours by Chuck Missler? I'm like, no, never heard of it. So we're sitting there playing Battletoads on the Emulator, just listening to it, and I'm just mind blown right. I've never heard this defense of the Bible, defense of the gospel. I didn't realize the depth of the text. And as I'm sitting there rotten on the couch and I'm playing Gears of War and God bless my wife who's just dealing with me at this time because I Don't have anything left to give her, you know what I mean? And I'm not doing what I need to do. So I was listening to some commentaries and I was like, I, I want to listen to Revelation. I've, I'm interested about that book. I've heard about it. I think I've heard a couple things I really want to know. So I was like, does Chuck Missler have a Revelation commentary? Oh, yeah, he does. So here I am just getting hammered, playing video games. And in that process, one of the things that he presents is the crucifixion. Not from the viewpoint of the son, but the viewpoint of the father. And having just lost the kids, like that just. Dude, that just crushed me. And so I was so done. I actually was in the process of getting out of the military. God did some things, was like, no, you can't do this. So I'm walk, driving into work one day, just bawling my eyes out like, I don't want, like I'm, I'm fried. Like, what do you want me to do? Like, I, I know I'm called to ministry. Maybe. What does it even look like? Like, am I supposed to get out and go to college? Like, how do you do this thing?
A
Yeah.
D
And God very heavily kicked me in the teeth and said, the military is your ministry. You've been living for yourself. And so he started to bring back all the people that I had not witnessed to that was no longer with us. So I had to eat that pretty heavily. And then that, with that, I was like, okay, I submit, you know, I've lived for myself. It's time to live for you. This is my ministry. I realize how I feel now. I've got to start walking this thing out and really pursue you. So I fell down the eschatological rabbit hole for about three years. And it was one of those always being a berean, right. Going back to the text, no matter what anybody says regarding all the differing viewpoints, because there's a lot of different viewpoints on eschatology. What does the text actually demonstrate? What lines up with the text? Well, obviously, Chuck Missler was one of the people I'd listened to along with covenant theologians and all that other stuff. And he had mentioned how he believes aliens are part of the end time deception. So I'm like, ah, maybe. Let's see, let's see what happens, right? So for about a month and a half, I just started digging down into that. I was reading secular, non Christian sources. I was reading Christian sources. I was Looking at methods of interaction, hearing some major people in the space, just, you know, again, from the standpoint of what are the overarching narratives, methods of contact, what are these people saying? What does the church say? What does the text say? Let's take everything. And like Paul says in First Thessalonians 5:21, Test all things, hold fast to that, which is good. So I'm going to do that, take all this and test it against the text. And by the end of that month and a half, I was like, okay. Everything surrounding this violates what the text states as far as methods, practices, narratives. It all points away from what the text. So I was like, okay, I. I'm pretty satisfied. This is, this is really not of God, so shelved it. You know, every now and then you have random conversations with people, pull it off the shelf. Well, when I was in Syria, I was the op sergeant. I ran down to Jordan, met a dude, we got really connected. It was like 2 in the morning, wasn't sleeping, just a random meeting. Well, that turned into a really close friendship for the next five years. And a few years ago, he calls me up, he's like, hey, what are your thoughts on this? It's like, well, 20 minute conversation. Gave it to him based on my research.
A
Thoughts on aliens?
D
Yeah, like UAPs and stuff like that. He's like, hey, there's an opportunity to help with some things in national security and fill some gaps because obviously national security is a big thing for us. Right? We. We live here, we like it here.
A
Yeah.
D
And you know, it's interesting because you have a lot of people like, like, give us everything. It's like, do you want our enemies knowing about our capabilities? Like, are you insane? So, you know, render to Caesar what is Caesar's to God, the things that are God's, you know. So basically that's how I got pulled into the whole program with that. And it was just very much a random meeting in 2017 in Jordan that led to all this. And then God just started opening crazy doors. So that's kind of how I got pulled in.
C
When your buddy called you and he asked you the question, what do you think of aliens? Where did you think that conversation was going to go?
D
I mean, I thought you.
C
I.
D
Because it was already being talked about in Congress. You know, we had some whistleblowers that had come forward. We had, you know, there was, it was more in the media a little bit, if you're tracking it. So I was just thinking, he's like, ah, okay, they're talking about it.
B
What.
D
What does this mean? And so just based on that, once, you know, due to some of the missions, I ran my training and capabilities, especially on the comm side and some other stuff, I basically, he's like, hey, there's an opportunity. One in. It's like, okay, well, let's go.
A
Did he tell you stuff in that meeting to where you're just like, holy crap? No, no.
D
That stuff just kind of, you know, you go where you go and stuff manifests and you just do what you do.
A
Interesting. When you were deployed, did you see anything? Because there's a lot of stories of, like, people seeing, especially in the remote deserts.
D
So I. I did not. My team sergeant Mike, when I was on 7 5, he was real strong Christian, so I can't remember what town they were at when he was. It was before he. Before he was a team sergeant, but they were having lots of firefights in this town. It was just chaos. And. But every night he'd go up on the roof and pray. And what he told me was that this one night he went up on the roof, and then this dust devil just starts. And he said it was literally like a tornado of sand just around him, him. And he starts hearing a pig getting, like. It was a pig getting slaughtered just screaming out in the village. And so he's like, just. He just feels this dark presence. So he just keeps praying and praying and professing the name of Jesus. And he said it finally just. The sand just stopped. The screaming stopped. And he said after that, like, the firefight stopped.
A
The.
D
They said that it just. It was a completely different Holy cow environment going out in the town. And then my buddy Glenn, they actually had an IED go off on their vehicle. And it. He was telling me that it. Basically, the way it blew should have just shredded all of them, right? And what he said was that everything was destroyed, but nobody was touched.
E
Wow.
D
There's lots of stories of people, like, having experiences and seeing things and just divine protection. I have a buddy, he wrote. What was it? He was a cheese. A chaplain. One of the most intense people I know. He was in the triangle of death. And what's that?
A
Sorry.
D
It's an area in Iraq that was just really hot. And so he was going out there as a chaplain. He was out with some Marines, and they were up behind a sniper blind. And he said, this dude. There was a blind shot through the sniper blind, hits the dude in the head. He goes down. So the firefight starts, and kid just sits up and he's holding this kid's helmet. He's got a hole in it. He's got a line where the. The bullet had traced around. And he, bro goes, bro, God's got a plan for your life. And then just like a Marine, they're just, oh, no, sir, that happens all the time. Gosh dang it.
A
That's crazy.
D
Yeah, there's. Dude, there's tons of stories like that from people, you know. I know we had. God definitely protected us a lot. A whole lot. I had a sniper take a pop at me. I was pulling security down Market street in Beijing, and my fox and my captain were over here, and I felt the round go right past my neck. And in between them, you know, it's just like I'm just sitting duck, right? And so just. But every time we go out, like, even again, even though I wasn't living for him, like I should have, like that Psalm 91, prayer man. Every time, like, God, go before us, lift us up, give your angels charge concerning us. Because, you know, that's all you can do. You know, you. You walk with death every day. You never know when that time's going to come. But you just gotta. You just go out, operate, work, mission, and whatever plays out, plays out. So all you can do is trust God, you know, That's. That's all you can do.
A
That's amazing.
E
That's crazy.
A
Can you pull your mic up just a hair closer?
D
Is that better?
A
Yeah, there's just a little bit of.
D
Sorry.
A
Feedback. No, you're good. So since getting into this realm and stuff and your book and all this stuff, have you experienced anything spooky?
D
Yeah, yeah.
A
That typically happens, right? It's like once you, like, start, like.
C
Yeah.
D
Exposing something, then so obviously one of the things you. You start opposing the enemy, he's going to start doing certain things.
B
Right.
D
That was not our expectation from the standpoint of seeing anything. We were just operating Right. And. Well, so when you're doing things within this realm and in human intelligence and things like that, it's all about networking, it's about connecting with people. So as we're going in this process, one of the people that we connected with was Stephen Greer. And the reason that we connected with him, because obviously you have people you connect with within the government in different places, but you also want to go, if you're going to do it right, you want to talk to everybody. So this guy is, you know, he's got supposedly all these contacts and people that were in legit programs. And so we went out to his place a couple years ago. And we're just having these meetings with him, seeing if. Hey, are you blowing smoke with Stephen Greer? Yeah. Like, are you legitimate? And I'm gonna caveat this whole thing first by saying, like, the man has truly good intentions. You know, he was a. He was an ER doctor that gave that up to go after something and try to help what he views is very vital for the saving of humanity. You know, he has good. So people can just say, oh, he's evil. It's just like. I mean, I know the man. I've had a lot of conversations with him. Like, he truly does have good intentions. Whether or not they're, you know, his conclusions and his practices are right, he does have good intentions with the information that he has and what he believes. So I think rather than just slamming people, we should, as Christians, be praying for them. Because he's a lost soul, man. That kind of has to matter to us.
A
Yeah.
D
So as we went out there, we're having these meetings, just getting information, like, who do you know? What validating evidence do you have? And during some of the breaks, some of the guys that were out there just witnessing to them, you know, reasons for faith. A couple of them were actually Jewish. So I was giving defense on why Jesus is the Messiah of Israel, like from the text. And so it was really good conversations and just an opportunity to sow seeds and water. And one of the questions that was asked, I remember by one of our guys, he said, okay, if what you're saying is true, if all of these things about the crimes and these compartments and this, and that is true, why aren't you dead? You're just. You're just a dude. And he said, well, I'm protected. If anybody tries anything, they will be dealt with quickly. So, like, okay, Stephen said that? Yeah. So our second night there, we were there for two nights. The second night there, I have a dream. And it's never had anything experienced like this before or since. And in the dream, there is a doorway and there was. I just remember it was black. Very, very black. But it's. It's not like a black. Like your light things. It's hard to describe the black void, maybe, but then there's light around it, and there's light around the edges and there's things standing there. And he just says, you can have anything you want. So I'm like. As I'm viewing this and processing this in my dream, I just start saying, I reject that in Jesus name. I reject that in Jesus name. And every time That I would say that and begin to say that. This thing started going like, careful, careful, careful. And so I pulled myself awake and then something jumped on me in the bed, covered my mouth up and I. It was like this pressure on the chest.
A
Yeah.
D
And it just like. And I'm like physically fighting just to say the name Jesus. I'm like. So finally about 15 seconds of struggle, I finally get out. Jesus, go like. And I can just feel the pressure get off me. My mouth is uncovered and I can just. It's almost like. The best way I can describe it is that I could feel this presence leave the room, go down the stairs and out the front door. So obviously I'm very, very shaken because.
A
Was this at Steven's house?
D
Yes, it was at Steven's house. Yeah. I was in one of the guest bedrooms.
A
So is that the thing that's protecting him?
D
Well, yes, I guess, maybe.
A
Yeah.
D
You know, and that's. And this kind of goes into the next dream. So I'm praying and I am worshiping and. Because obviously I'm really shaken. Right. And finally really kind of just calm down, feel peace, come. Just spending time with the Lord. Go back to sleep. And I'm in a crowd. It's kind of like the Matrix, you know that. That crowd that's walking and there's a woman standing in the middle of the crowd and she's just staring at me. So I see it, somebody walks by her. And in movies, you know, when people like, they walk by and the person disappears.
A
Yeah.
D
Instead of that, she turned to this like 12, 15 foot thing, feminine feline. Like that's the best way I can describe it. I actually don't. There's no real way to describe what I saw. So I wake up and I'm like, okay, clearly I had a demonic experience. Clearly I was attacked. That's probably why I had that dream. Well, then I went home the next day on Sunday, went to. Went back, you know, slept in my own bed. And in the dream of that night, I was back at Greer's place. And when you walk in his front entrance, there's a big. There's a kind of study to the left and there's a big door frame. And the same woman is standing there and somebody again walks by her. And again, same thing turns into this thing. Except the difference was, is I could. I could feel just hatred. I can't describe it other than to say I just felt like this thing, if it could murder me, it would. And I just started saying in my dream, I'm not scared of you. You can't touch me. You have no authority over me. I'm bought by the blood of Jesus. And then I looked over and Greer was this dead body just leaned up against the wall. And if you've ever seen dead bodies that are sitting, they have a very different look than people that are sleeping. So just leaned up against the wall, dead body, and he was completely black. So I wake up and I call my director and I say, hey. So this thing appeared to me twice. This is what happened, you know, about the whole thing with the initial attack in the bed. And so he's like, okay, you remember that question we asked about him being protected? I said, yeah. He said, I dug down into that later on Saturday night, and I said, what did you mean by that? What do you mean? People will be dealt with. You're protected. And he said, well, I have these basically entities, remote viewers can see them, certain type of scanners can see them. And he said, they protect. Protect it. So at another time, I visited his house and because there was some stuff going on and I. I presented an edited version because he's, He's. He's not Christian. Yeah, Right. And so. And I'm just trying to be respectful, but also I'm working, so, you know, I can't just say, oh, hey, this happened. Right. Because he would view that as a. A psyop, or people are telling me I'm wrong, whatever. Right. He's very hostile to that. That stuff.
B
So
D
I gave him an edited version stating what happened. And he said, oh, those are the warriors.
C
Yeah.
D
So he. I mean, that's, you know, what he told me. And of course, my question was, well, why. Why did it appear to me? You know, and he gave his statement. And talking with my director, we both felt that the reason that occurred was because I was sharing the gospel kind of on enemy territory. As far as other events, whenever we would go out to do mission, especially ones where, like, the gospel ended up getting shared with certain people in different compartments or that are deep into this world, stuff would just start happening with our families. My director, like, somebody would try to commit suicide in his family, or an animal would die, or like, literally one night, I've got to get going to the airport. In a few hours, my wife falls and breaks her arm.
A
Whoa.
D
And then after I had a meeting, we had a meeting with some pastors to discuss this stuff. What was very interesting. After that, we all stayed in contact and in pairs. They would start having things happen at their house. And it was only two At a time, but it was always at the same time. So one night my daughter comes in, she's super shaken, and she said, I'm in a dream. Well, she was having a dream. She's like, hey, she's young, she's 13. And she said, we were sitting at the kitchen table, you and mommy were there. And then there was this shadow figure with red eyes in the living room, staring. And it started walking. And she told me that she just said, started saying, get out, Jesus, get out, Jesus. And it just left the front door. So obviously, 13 year old, she's super shaken up. But later that next morning, one of the pastors texted and said, hey guys, just so you know, last night I heard this banging downstairs. So I went downstairs and I saw a shadow figure jumping between the rooms. And then it stood and stared at me. So, you know, like. And anybody that has friends that are missionaries, you know, everybody, South America, Haiti, everybody knows about the shadow people.
A
I've experienced it once in my house.
C
Yeah.
A
And it was.
D
It's terrifying.
A
Terrifying.
D
Yeah.
A
Yeah. So.
D
So we have had experiences like that. It's. But ultimately it's the fantastical stuff of it doesn't matter for us. We just viewed it as, okay, we're clearly on the right path. Satan's trying to bump us off, scare us, deal with our families, you know, give you any excuse not to continue or, hey, I can't go out on this mission, whatever, you know. So I would say that those are the crazy stories. But for us, like the stories, all they are for us is the confirmation of the spiritual nature of what we're dealing with. And that, you know, because ultimately for me and my director, what matters most is the gospel. What matters most is reaching people for Christ. And so for whatever reason, God decided to open insane doors to us that we should never should have had to be able to walk through this. And yes, we had experiences, but get information, see things that are going on. But more importantly, I think what that was for us too is really put a burning in us to ultimately to see the church is not ready for this. Right. People have talked about this for years for this disclosure. Well, yeah, and it's not even the disclosure stuff for us. It's the belief system that's forming around it.
A
Interesting.
D
And that really is the basis of the book because you can just kind of whitewash the phenomena. Oh, it's demons. Oh, it's crazy. Oh, it's the U.S. government. Oh, it's China. You can slap whatever label on you want. That's not My concern, the fact is, it's real. Our government has admitted it. So our concern is that as the government has been talking about this for years, people have been talking about this for years. Joe Rogan's been discussing this since he began his podcast.
A
Yeah.
D
You know, so there is. There's. There's been. Ever since Roswell, really, there's been a fringe element that has discussed these things. And if anybody studied the New Age movement in the 70s.
A
Yeah.
D
Yeah. Like, this was a major part. Right. There's a lot of prominence to the whole UFO stuff that kind of died away, but it was always in the minds of the population. And so what we saw was that this was. This discussion was becoming more mainstream. And as it was becoming more mainstream, it wasn't fringe anymore. People are openly discussing this. Our nation is discussing this. Society is discussing this. The government is having hearings about it. What we saw and what we were most afraid of, which has actually come to pass, was that as this is discussed, they're not providing context. People want answers.
A
Yeah.
D
They want to know what is going on. So you have all of these people over here that are not Christian, that are not lining up with the text of Scripture, and they are providing answers.
E
I see.
D
And that is what our concern is for the church.
A
Yeah.
D
Like, it's not about the fantastical experiences. The only reason I speak on those things is to say, look, this is. This is what we experienced.
B
Right.
D
It's not about the story. It's about the fact that we went into a world and some serious spiritual attacks happened.
A
Yeah.
D
Which for me and for my director and my family, is validating that we're. That we're doing the right thing and that this is real. This is. There is a spiritual component to this. Our concern is that as the world gives answers that are very convincing, that are very true, and I'm not talking truth of the Bible. I'm saying it's real. They can guide you into experiences. They can help you make contact. That this is a belief system that's come about and the church has completely missed it.
A
Yeah.
D
So now the question becomes, how are you going to have gospel conversations? How are you going to defend the faith in the midst of a belief system? And they wouldn't necessarily call it a belief system, but Diana Pasulka, who is a PhD at UNC Wilmington, she says it's a religion. And I would say that she is of an authority in scholarship to be able to state, I'm watching a religion form.
A
Yeah. Because that's her studies.
D
Yeah. It's all about religion. Exactly. So in American Cosmic, she presents that. In Encounters, she presents more encounters. And she's a phenomenal scholar. Have you read her work?
A
I haven't, no. I've seen a lot of her interviews.
D
Okay. She is a fantastic scholar and I really commend her in her books. She really does a good job of what scholarship should do in that, or should I should say what people want scholarship to do is just present your research. And so she does that. She does a very good job of that. But in the midst of that, what she is doing, she says she's watching a religion form. She goes through the practices, she goes through the narratives, she. But she doesn't provide anything beyond that.
F
Right.
D
There's no challenge to it. There's no affirmation, really. She's just saying, hey, guys, a religion is forming. So the world is saying a religion is forming. That is what matters to me. It's like Mormonism. When Mormonism was spreading massively across the U.S. walter Martin stood up. If you've never read Walter Martin's Kingdom of the Cults or familiar with him, would recommend. So what he did is he became one of the foremost voices against Christian cults against different New age practices. And he stood up and he said, all right, here's the theology of Joseph Smith. Here is the theology of Brigham Young. Here is the core Mormon theology. This is what the text states. Does it rise or fall? Nope, it falls.
A
Yeah.
D
Right. Because as he states, he. He doesn't hate Mormons, he loves Mormons. And the theology is keeping them apart from God.
A
Yeah.
D
For eternity.
A
Yeah.
D
And that is what matters to me. That's what matters to my director.
A
Yeah.
D
And so the reason I wrote the book and the reason that we're having this discussion, it's not just about the phenomena. If I'm running a deception operation, I'm going to provide validating information. The government's talking about it. Disclosure is here. There's no longer this talk of, well, if disclosure happens. No, it's happened. And I would actually argue that it started and true disclosure started with Age of Disclosure on Amazon Prime. The reason I would argue with that and argue that point is because we had people from the intelligence community and Marco Rubio talking about this and some of them on there said, this is not of this world. This is something else. This is beyond. Not all of this is human made technology.
B
Right.
D
So they're saying that, but they're not giving context.
A
Yeah.
D
They're releasing videos in these tranches. They're not Giving context. So now you have people over here like Stephen Greer, like Chris Bledsoe, like Diana Pasulka, like Jake Barber, like American Alchemy and Jesse Michaels, News Nation. Who's he? They are giving answers. So what's the church's answer?
C
Yeah.
D
In the, in the midst of this belief system. Exactly. So you have to understand what the theology is that's forming.
C
Yeah.
D
You know, and here's the whole thing with it. You can't just whitewash and say, oh, it's all demons. That doesn't answer people's questions.
E
Yeah.
A
It kind of just. It puts it in a box.
D
Exactly.
A
Yeah.
D
You have to take. Let's look at the methods of interaction. Let's look at the contact protocols. Let's look at the messaging and narrative surrounding it. Does it point to Jesus Christ as defined in the text of Scripture? Third member of the Trinity came manifest as man. He is the God, man died on the cross, rose the third day, ascended to glory, seated at the right hand of the Father. Does it profess that? Does it point you towards that? Because as I see it, and as you take again a look at the whole of what is being stated, it doesn't line up with this.
A
Yeah.
D
Why in Deuteronomy 18 you have all these practices that the people of the land are doing that Israel is told, do not do these things. They are an abomination to the Lord. And it's for this reason these people are being cast out of the land. Why are those things that are forbidden, what are used for contact protocols? Channeling, divination. You know, they talk about the downloads and doing these practices to receive information. Diana Pasoka talks about that a lot. Now she, again, to her credit, she's not going to say you should do this, but she gives enough detail about what Tyler does to be able to replicate.
A
That's a little. That's dangerous.
D
Stephen Greer, are you familiar with the CE5 protocol?
A
No.
D
Okay, so his CE5 protocol is something that he developed when he was young.
C
Like bringing it out to yourself, right?
F
Like.
D
Yeah, yeah.
C
Prove to me. Show me.
D
Well, no, so that. That is Chris Bledsoe. So, Stephen Greer, what he. What happened to him? He was actually contacted by these things very young. He had a near death experience. Post that. Near death experience, he states he was taken up into a craft and a couple of these entities together, they meditated together. And together they developed the CE5 protocol. And the CE5 protocol and Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind, as he defines it, is human initiated contact to non human intelligence.
B
Whoa.
D
So you are going through. And it's like a whole mix of, like, meditation and transcendental meditation, Eastern practices involved in this.
A
Wow.
D
To reach out your consciousness. And basically they describe it of, I'm not going to get into the steps, but to, to get these things to show up and arrive. Now, why is this dangerous? Well, obviously, clearly you're reaching out to an unknown entity.
C
You're pop.
D
You're popping your head in the spirit world saying, hey, contact me. Something will answer you back. But here's what everybody's missed. Jesse Michaels on American Alchemy when he was discussing Jake Barber's book sentinels of ether four weeks ago. That's at 900,000 views. And in that YouTube video, he walks you through the steps of how to do it. And then he actually says, hey, guys, this is inherent to us as humans. This what the government's been trying to hide. It's in you. But, you know, the occults and the secret societies and you know, the priests or. I can't remember exactly his quotes, but he goes through all these different things. They've been doing this for years. We can do this.
E
Yeah.
D
So you've got 900,000 people just on YouTube alone who have been taught how to do this. That doesn't matter.
A
Wow.
C
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
D
Well, it's people's eternities, man.
A
Yeah. That's crazy how that's. It's sneaking in like that, though. Because it's not like. Because people, I feel like, I mean, even Christians, they'll. They can see like the old plain stuff, like the occultism and like witchcraft and all that stuff, and then it's like aliens, like, oh, let's talk. Because it's so. It's such a foreign.
D
That's. That's because we, as Christians, we pay lip service to the supernatural. But in our day to day, in our interactions, in our responses, how we live, we live like naturalistic atheists.
A
Whoa.
D
Let's be honest, stuff's going haywire in your family. Stuff's happening. Has anybody had it where you're getting ready for church and then just like stuff blows up with your kid or your wife? Maybe it's spiritual warfare. Yeah, that's the thing. Like, we act as if these entities, those that are loyal to God of the Bible and those that are hostile. Well, all this stuff, man, that's the Old Testament. That's Jesus Day. That's ancient history. Please show me in the text where these things stopped. Yeah, I'd like to see it because I can tell you, when I went down to Haiti to pull out a missionary family. Some of the things that we dealt with and that he can tell you about. It's still very active.
A
Can you talk about that at all
D
or the trip to Haiti?
A
Yeah, yeah.
E
Should we get into that right after our little break or do you want
A
to go Right, y' all two dad real quick.
E
Yeah, don't go anywhere.
A
We're gonna talk about some crazy. More screws. All right, hypothetical. Somebody walks in right now and hands you 50 grand, what's the first thing you're buying?
B
50 grand? Well, that's easy. I'm paying somebody else to mow my yard forever.
A
That's actually not bad.
B
Why?
A
Because Brett is literally giving one person $50,000.
B
That's not an exaggeration either. It's called the Brunt Potty of Gold Sweepstakes. The name's ridiculous. The prize isn't. One person is winning 50 grand.
A
The best part is it's free to enter.
B
Yep. Just make a Brunt account or log in into the one you already have and you're in. You can earn some entries by following them on social, signing up for emails and texts, or picking up some new

A
That's confidence.

D
Is it. Is it not close?
A
Yeah, I feel like. Why?
B
Like, when you get passionate.
D
Okay.
C
Out here you're good. But yeah, just try to.
D
We have good sound technicians, right?
B
Yeah.
C
Yep.
E
I'm thinking of all the.
D
Well, then do. Then do better.
A
Oh,
C
oh, oh.
D
He muted you. Well played, good sir.
B
Well played.
D
And this guy's done.
B
Get him out.
D
We are not airing this. Sorry, guys. To disappoint.
E
Just a montage of all the things I'm supposed to cut. I'm excited for you to get back into that Haiti story. While you were telling the story of the. The dust devil on the roof here, the pig squeal. It made me think back to my brother and he did a mission trip in Haiti. Very similar description of what started happening right outside the compound. Yeah, them and all the other church kids were in, like, clearly something yeah. Spiritual evil was happening involving some sort of sacrifice. So, like, immediately my brain paralleled to Haiti. So for you to bring it up, that's really interesting.
D
No accidents. God's kingdom.
A
That also reminded me of. There's a story of this guy. His name's Saint Paisios. He was a monk on Mount Athos. And there's a story of, like, him. Literally, he just went and just, like, did a week or plus of just fasting and just praying.
D
Yeah.
A
On this mountaintop. And it was like, winds just started picking up, and he started hearing screaming. And, like, literally at some point, they're pushing him down.
C
Yeah.
A
And then scratching them.
E
I'm just like, yo, this is.
D
There's so many stories like that, man.
A
Yeah.
D
It's so insane, man.
A
But I would. Let's. Let's talk about your Hades story. This. Because I've been to Haiti.
D
Okay.
A
And it's a dark place. We like Port au Prince. And, like, I would. There's one story, mine. I promise you, it's not gonna be nearly as interesting as yours, but we were in one of those, like, market areas in Port au Prince. And, like, you can kind of just like, feel it, you know, like a presence or whatever. And I just remember walking, and there's this old lady sitting on this tabletop. Like, literally, like, crisscross applesauce.
D
Yeah.
A
And she was just staring at me. And, like, you just knew.
D
Yeah.
E
Bad juju.
A
This was scary stuff. So I'm excited to hear about your story.
E
Yeah.
B
They.
D
So the kid that we went to get out, it's. His story is insane. The kid was 19, and he's like, I'm going to Haiti. Like, they. His family had gone, you know, years prior, before it got really, really bad. And, you know, when you think about. You know, think about all of us at 19, it's like, I'm gonna go serve the Lord in Haiti. Like, dude, balls, man. This. And he loves the Lord. Ended up marrying a Haitian woman, Mika. She is just phenomenal. And they had a kid. Well, they were trying to get out and couldn't just. Nothing was working out with, like, the State Department, all these things. It was just chaos. And they'd been trying for a while to get them out and get the paperwork done for Mika. So they reached out to the org. I was working for Project Dynamo at the time.
A
And what year is this?
D
20. Was it 25? I think it was 25.
A
Okay.
D
Honestly. Okay. So I may be a bit. As I talk, I may be a bit fragmented. And so my memory and Because I got hit by a truck four weeks ago.
A
You were telling us that.
D
Yeah. So just so everybody knows, spiritual warfare.
E
At least you have an excuse. We're just fragmented.
D
I've been blown up, you know, lots of head hits. So what's one more tbi? So I submitted the transcript for the book and got a call that my mother in law had fallen. Ambulance came, she wasn't able to get up. Ended up having a broken arm. And then five days later, my father in law and my daughter and I went up to Ohio to do a little bike trip up there, Goba, which I would recommend everybody go on. Goba. It is a fun. It's so fun. What is Goba is a bike trip where basically you bike between towns, you camp, they have routes set up.
A
Oh, very good.
C
Hit by a truck.
D
You get hit by truck. Which is funny because my wife grew up doing it with her dad and she's done ragbrai across Iowa, Florida, Kansas, Ohio. Never had anybody hit by a vehicle.
A
Wow.
D
So, you know, I'm the lucky one. You know, I'm one in a million. You could say so. When we were up there, I was.
B
All I.
D
All I remember is biking up this hill and the next thing I know I'm. I'm face down in a ditch. So.
C
So scary.
D
I. Yeah. And it like the bike was trashed. I mean just frames bent. Like it. My helmets totally cracked on the one side and my short term memory was just done for like the next four days. And so it's been like just trying to recover from the tbi. But so I apologize for any like, like stumbling or fragmentation. But with Haiti. So Zach's mom reaches out to us and she's just kind of like at her wits end. Right. They're trying to get this done. Been trying for a long time and God just worked it out, man. That's. Over the next month we got everything. Everything just kind of fell into place and we flew into capation. I coordinated some things with this company out of the doctor and that was the. To get the helicopter. And so we were able to grab the helicopter. They flew us about 45 minutes to St. Mark, landed in the compound. And you know, us not thinking we had bags and stuff like that. He's like, well, obviously there's a weight. You gotta take weight into account.
A
Yeah. So.
D
And plus with the takeoff, like it wasn't a big area to take off in. And the pilot was awesome. He was like an old Venezuelan military pilot. Like just cool, dude.
C
Yeah.
D
So we're literally just Chucking stuff out of our suitcases, giving them to the people on the compound he was working for Ywam. So we take off and he's like, well, we did not know this. Me and James who are in the back with Zach and Mika and the kid. But Mario's up front, he's here and he's talking to the pilot. He's like, it's either the electric lines or the tree. We're hitting the tree. So I have a video of us actually taking off and just slicing that tree. I am not happy at this point.
C
Oh no.
D
So like, and then that 45 minutes back to Capitian. That engine is not the same. And I'm just like, oh God, please, please. So get there. Lots of prayer landed. Go through the process. We grabbed the plane and you can't just go directly from Haiti to the doctor, right? So we go, we do what we need to do. And it was a couple hours out, then it was just a couple hours back. No problem. Well, I look up and James is in the front seat because he's the tallest of all of us, so he's got to have the leg room. We're a little Piper Aztec. And I see the GPS go. I was like, that's not supposed to happen. I just put my head down and I'm just, I am just like, I'm reading my Bible, I'm studying Greek, I'm listening to worship music, I'm just praying and because I'm looking up and I see James face and it's just like, not like he does not look happy. And what ended up happening, we lost two of our three GPSs. We were down to just the dude's phone, a bunch of the instruments. Just like, dude, you could feel the warfare around the plane. It was so insane. And I think part of it was because of the testimony that Zach has, you know, as this, this 19 year old kid that goes and does ministry in Haiti. Like, and he. They're having impacts. It's pretty incredible. But what we didn't know, as the pilot is trying to fix the instruments, we're also slowly rotating 90, so we're almost 90 degrees. And James realizes it and so just so happen. And for those that are just listening, I'm using air quotes here. James is a pilot, so he was able to take over flying. And he's the only one in our, that at that time that connected to the organization with Dynamo that I was in that could fly.
F
Whoa.
D
And it just so happened he was on the strip and in that front seat. So he took over flying so that the pilot could do what he needed to do. And what's. What was terrifying to us is that the sun had gone down. So we didn't want the sun down because you got mountains. At one point, we were off course, just going over the ocean. So when we finally landed, it was like, kiss the ground. Thank you, God. And that's kind of the story of Haiti and. And what happened with that. Lots of. Lots of warfare. And then post, there was tons of warfare once we were in the doctor spiritually, you know, just Satan trying to negate the things that you're doing. So there was a lot of prayer with that. But, you know, just one of those things that God got set those things in motion, you know, for whatever purposes.
C
So.
D
And there's. We've seen fruit from that, which is just absolutely incredible to see. You know, that's one of the things I love when. When I was retiring out really hard time for me because I got medically retired. God has a really interesting way of answering our prayers. So after Afghanistan, I went to the schoolhouse. I volunteered to go to Special Warfare center in school because I trained other nations. I'd fought in other nations. I want to train former future Green Berets, right, that are. That are going to go train or go serve alongside my friends, right? So do I want some guy I don't know training them, or do I want to go do it? And I wanted to sew back into the regiment because I love the regiment, man, and ended up happening. I didn't get the job that I had lined up for me. I got stuck in an office job for a little bit because it was getting rebuilt, and the sergeant major knew me. And so he's like, hey, I want you here for now. I know it's not what you want. I'm like, okay, cool. But God worked that out because In January of 14, I was at my sister's wedding and I saw a commercial for St. Jude Children's Hospital. And I was like, dude, my heart broke. I'm watching these families, these kids, obviously, with having lost the two pregnancies. I'm like, God, I want an opportunity to witness and minister to people with cancer in their families. What I didn't know at the same time was my wife in her prayer journal, was asking God to use or give her new testimonies. And two weeks later, she got diagnosed with leukemia. And there's a whole lot to that leading up to that. That night prior that God was doing that. Just insane, obviously, about Midnight. I couldn't sleep. She was a prn, working newborn nursery, NICU and that. About midnight, as I'm praying for peace for her, God just kind of says, hey, go look up Francis Chan. Like, I've heard of this dude. Okay, cool. I look him up on YouTube. The first video was called, if Jesus was your pastor, you probably wouldn't go to his church. The whole video was about counting the cost. Have you counted the cost to follow Jesus? What if Jesus walks down this road, walks down the aisle at our church and says, hey, follow me. We walk out, there's a hill full of crosses. Have you counted the cost of what that actually means? So five o', clock, my wife walked herself down to the ER. 8am, she got diagnosed.
E
Wow.
D
So we had to walk that at UNC Chapel Hill. And then it was where her cancer ended up being worse. They're like, hey, with your mutations, you got to go to MD Anderson. You're going to get a bone marrow transplant. And I remember, man, like, you know, as a husband, we're all husbands, right? You give that to me. I will. I will. I will take that burden. Like, yeah, not my. Like. And so, you know, I'm having a husband I'm. I'm able to protect. I'm able to, you know, I'm this capable operator. You could say, you know, I can't do anything for her.
E
Yeah.
D
I can only pray and encourage, and God definitely taught me, like, dude, she ain't yours. Well, she's mine. She's a stewardship, so walk that out at MD Anderson. And when we did, we did ministry, we ministered to people. We. We loved people. We shared the gospel. We prayed with people.
A
It was.
D
It was a. An opportunity to be a light in a very dark place.
F
And,
D
you know, I. It was an honor to. That God found us worthy. You know, I get emotional sometimes. I apologize. I mean, it makes sense, but, you know, it was an honor that God found us worthy to be used and to suffer that for his sake so that we could reach others. So get back, and I go. I go to Special Forces election. I go to sfpc. As far as, like, being an instructor. I come back. I take over as the Op Sergeant. I come home from Syria, and God's like, you're done, man. You're done. Like, what do you mean, I'm done? I got seven years on this contract. My wife's worth 2.3 million. After I stopped counting the bills or when I stopped counting the bills. Like, I. I don't. I need this. And I. I want this. Like, I'm gonna take a team. I want to. I want. I was an op sergeant. I took guys over to Syria, but I want to go, then take a team. So some people said some very, very specific things to me, and I stopped fighting. I said, okay, God, if you want me to stay in the military, I'll keep doing what I'm doing, but if you want me out, I'm ready. I'll go do ministry outside. But you got to do it, because I'm locked into this contract. And the next day, I saw the doc, he's like, bro, your back is done. And then three weeks later, they diagnosed me with epilepsy.
E
Wow.
D
And I was having up to 80 seizures a day. And so what I thought was actually. What I thought was off tempo and just being tired, lack of sleep, just years of stress, was actually me having seizures. I had my first seizure on a night raid in 09. We thought I was just concussed, but I actually called my terp over in Sweden because he had gotten out after the war. He was like, I gotta get out of here. So he went over to Sweden and I call him up. I'm like, hey, man, like, what'd you see when they pulled me out of the ditch? And I. He's like, yeah, man, you were flopping like a fish. I'm like, we needed to know that. So turned out I was actually. All those years where I was having these weird experiences was actually me having focal seizures.
E
Wow.
D
But so God answered my prayer in 18, all the way back in 09. That obviously was. Was very, very difficult because we, you know, we now, Now I'm not functional.
B
Right.
D
I'd been a caregiver for my wife, taking care of her, because that's like the. The recovery for that was really hard.
A
Yeah.
D
You know, the one oral chemo she was on just killed her short term memory for about a year. She couldn't go in the sun for two years. You know, then it's the, oh, hey, you wanted a big family, you can't have kids. Oh, hey, you're a nurse.
F
Yeah.
D
You can't be a nurse anymore. Oh, hey, like you, we think you're going blind because of grasp versus host disease. And so like all this stuff we walk through then, now it's like, oh, flip. Now she's the caregiver.
A
She's.
D
I'm frying out, so she's helping me get cleaned up. She's helping me get dressed, shower, all that stuff, eat. And I'm just. I don't remember her name half the time. And on top of that, I was having really bad PTSD from this, especially from the cereal. We all, you know ptsd, you know, it just. You go through things and, you know, you get hyper vigilant. You just. All the different things that just occur. But for me, I'd have nightmares and they were like, ah, you know, I'm pulling the trigger, the stupid gun's not working. I'm freaking doing what I need to do is not working, or I'm shooting, it's not hitting the people, just stupid things like that. But in Syria, me and my buddy, my medic, he and I worked. We had a lot of kids, a whole lot of kids. And that was, that was difficult. A lot of blown up kids, shot kids, kids scorpion bites. And like, you know, I remember this one kid, Yusuf, and it's. He basically his sister and him came in and they had third degree burns. He added over 80 of his body. And so we had my medic, we had Jason, Joe from another team medic, thank God. And like we're doing scarotomies, you know, where you slice the tissue. So because it's expanding so much to help with the swelling, they start losing airways. And we don't have crike tubes small enough for their throats. So, dude, Joe, it was, it was awesome. He grabs these freaking two needle decompression needles, which are for like attention pneumothorax, and he just throws them into their throats. And we get airways and it's like, oh my God. Like, dude, like, we're like, yes, life flight comes in, goes, Yusuf doesn't make it. So get him back. And I've got the body and I'm just holding him and so just tell him, like, man, it's gonna be okay. It's okay, dude. It's kind of Yusuf and just holding him, talking to him so that, you know, waiting for the, for the family. So I give him over. Just give my, hey, I'm sorry, you know, apologize. Couldn't do it. So get back from that rotation. And then the. My nightmares changed and. And I was having these nightmares where. And it was like every night, every other night, just. Kid gets shot, kid gets hit. I'm running, I'm ripping my med pouch open, pulling out my tourniquets, whatever, and it's my daughter. And so, you know, my daughter's there, she's saying, daddy, daddy, please just don't let me fall asleep. Don't let me fall asleep. I'm like, it's okay. Baby, it's okay, you know. You know, just can't save her.
A
Wow.
D
So, you know, I'm working on her and never saved her. Just watch her die over and over and so terrible. Fortunately, I went into emdr. I had a really amazing therapist. That, dude, EMDR is phenomenal.
A
Yeah.
D
Like, so, like, instead of hearing kids cry, like, and I get like, this just rage, like, it's like, okay, I'm sad, but it's like a healthy sad.
A
Yeah.
D
EMDR is phenomenal.
E
Yeah.
A
So.
D
But. But what God did in the process of that is that he. I'd already seen, you know, with the loss of the two pregnancies, the cost of the Father from that viewpoint and that even more really solidified that, like, just. Just that, that love he had, just, man, like, I, I. It's killing me. Like, watching my kid die, it's just destroying me. And I'm giving the pain over to him, and I'm just trusting Him. Like, God, this is just. But at the same time, I'. Like, man, like, what was that like for the Father? Like, I can't do. It's. It's so beyond what we can even comprehend that. That depth of love, it's like, dude, like, you love me so much. You were willing to watch that, endure that. And it's. You know, Isaiah 53. It pleased the Lord to crush him. Like, we have no capacity to understand what Jesus actually endured.
A
Yeah.
D
And what the Father went through as well. And that's the amount of love that he has for us.
E
Yeah.
A
That's nuts.
D
You know, and so I say all that. That whole thing comes back to the book. Why? Because we. If Christ and God the Father loved us enough to do all that for us, why are we withholding anything from him in the world? Why do we keep back from him this. This belief system that's come about? It's got legs.
A
Yeah.
D
I brought up American alchemy. They got 900,000 people just on that. That's not including all the people Steven Greer has reached. Chris Bledsoe has reached. They've been on Joe Rogan. They've been on Sean Ryan. They've been on Lex Friedman. They're on News Nation. Their message is going out, and they are evangelistically fervent. They are reaching people, and people are listening. When did souls stop mattering to us? There's a quote. I think it's attributed to George Whitfield. It says, the torment of burning like a livid coal, not for a moment, not for a day, but for millions and millions of Ages at the end of which the soul will realize they are no closer to the end than when they first began. And they will never, ever be delivered from that place. How much do we just not love the Lord? Penn Jillette said it best. If you believe that I'm going to a place of eternal torment apart from God, and you have the one thing I need. How much do you have to hate me?
E
Yeah.
D
Not to share it.
A
That was a powerful video, dude.
D
You've seen it.
E
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
D
We have to get that back.
C
Oh, yeah. It's incredible.
D
We have to get that back in the church. The book is not about the stories. The book is that there's a belief system that has got legs. People are dying. They're going to hell. They're headed to an eternity apart from God.
A
Yeah.
D
I wear this bracelet specifically of the ones that the multiples that I have, because these are the guys I didn't witness to. I'm never going to see them again. That hurts. I love them. They're my brothers. I fought with them, you know, we sucked together. We were miserable together. I owe my life to them. I'm never going to see him again. I did not give them the one thing that they needed.
C
Yeah.
D
It's between them and God, but I did not do my part. What does God, through the prophet, say? If I say to the wicked man, you will die in your wicked ways, and you do not warn him, I will require his blood of you.
E
You.
D
That is terrifying because that tells us that God is going to require the blood of the unsaved at the hands of the saved.
A
Wow.
D
If we do not warn them now, why all the stories about everything that I went through? Because I'm going to tell you that all through the text, we are promised suffering. It has been granted to you. Philippians 1:29. It has been granted to you not only to believe, but to suffer for his sake.
B
We.
D
We are heirs, joint heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him. You know, Peter and John left the council, and they praised God that they had been found worthy to be shamed for the name. Suffering is promised. And as John Piper states, we live in the Disneyland of America. Christianity costs you nothing. You go to your Tony Robbins Sunday service, get your fill. Go back to your life. But in Deuteronomy, it states, love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your might. Teach these things to your children as you rise up, as you walk, by the way, as you lay down at night. We have got to stop acting like this. Is something that. Oh, I do. And start getting back to the fact that this is who we are. True that it doesn't cost us anything yet. It may not. But what matters is at the end of the day, you're going to stand before Christ and you're going to give an account and whatever you've done is going to either burn remain. That's 1 Corinthians 3. At some point, this has to matter to us. And I'm sharing all of this with you guys about what my family's gone through because all of this was an answer to prayer through that. It's been hard. It hurts. But I will tell you, in the midst of that pain, there's joy, there's fulfillment, there's peace. When you are at the darkest moments and you get to. And you are, you are. Your family is struggling because you're watching your wife, your wife get 25% chance to live. I'm facing that. I've got a 12 month, a 14 month old kid. That number is true. Of the four that went in, my wife's the only one that survived the transplant.
A
Wow.
D
You know, this has cost us heavily. Cost me my cognitive function pretty heavily for a while. It cost my wife her health. We wanted a big family. Can't have that. So whenever my friends get to have kids, man, I love it. To follow Christ. What's he say? Count the cost. We haven't counted the cost.
C
And that's what I love. That's one of my favorite verses is John six. He's talking about the cost of discipleship. And you have these groups of people just walking away. They're like, I can't handle that. And then Jesus looks at them and says, do you also wish to go giving them a free pass full on? You can leave if you want. Not a big deal. You have the choice.
E
Yeah.
C
And then Peter looks at him like, where would we go?
E
Yeah.
C
Like you have the words of eternal life.
E
Yeah.
C
Like, it's just like, yeah, I probably want to go. I probably don't know if I can handle this, but it's like, how can I when I know the truth? Know who you are. It's like, I can't.
D
Exactly. So if we know that, if we pay lip service to that, why do we not do that in our lives? This whole thing. I don't care if you buy the book. We don't know our Bibles. Only 6% of professing Christians know actually hold a biblical worldview.
E
Yeah.
D
The average American spends three to five hours on social Media a day. It only takes an average of 70 to 75 hours to read your Bible all the way through. That means that you could read the entire Bible all the way through and still have time left over to doom scroll. But you know what? There's a Know your book.
E
There's a systemic problem. I won't call out the place that I I work, but I worked at a. A Christian bookstore for a period of time and I got in trouble because people would come in and hey, I'm dealing with X. Can you like point me to something? And my manager found out that I'd been taking people to the Bible.
A
Yeah, we're trying to sell books, dude.
E
They were like, take them to this news. And I was like, oh, no.
D
Yeah, because you need 66 books. I actually got in trouble for that. I actually know that. I actually worked at Christian store. You had to get people to sign up for perks. And I didn't give it. I was like. I ask them, they say, no, I'm not gonna pressure them. Well, your perks memberships are down, so we're gonna have to let you go. But the point of this is like, buy the book, don't buy the book. Know your Bible. And the reason that we need to know, there's a couple different things here. One, if you're going to walk this out, you better be willing to say, count the cost. And John Piper said it best. When asked, how do I prepare to give my life and die? He says, or how do I prepare to suffer for Christ? Was the person asked, he said, you be willing. You make the choice to give up to your life. Anything left is a bonus.
A
Wow.
D
So you, you make the decision, Christ, I'm going to follow you no matter what. Know the truth. Know what that text says.
B
Why?
D
Because Paul says in First Thessalonians 5, Test all things, hold fast to that which is good. First John 4, test the spirits, whether they be from God. The Bereans are commended. Why? Because Paul presented them the Gospel. This is the apostle Paul. He presents them the Gospel and it says, these were more noble than those in Thessalonica in that they received the word with alreadyness of mind, but they searched the scriptures daily whether they were so. So they had an open mind, but they searched the Scriptures. I don't know how to test anything if I don't even know what it says. So no matter what comes out of the government, no matter what manifests, I can't tell you what it's all going to be. I don't Know, but what I can tell you is I know how to test it.
F
Do you?
D
That's what matters. What matters is one. And this is again what's important to me first. If the church does not discuss the religion and the beliefs and the nuances of the. Not the all the crazy nuances, but basically the belief system that's forming, people are giving answers. If the church does not provide answers, people will go find them.
E
Yeah.
D
So what are you going to do if people start apostatizing? I've seen it.
C
Yeah.
D
In Encounters, Pasoka talks about it. People that were in the faith and then they had an experience and they did their research and they walked away. It broke their religion is what she says. If I remember, if I remember correctly, that. Don't quote me on that. Test me. But, but you know, so, so we are having explanations given. Oh, these people in the Bible, they just had a UFO experience and they were just writing it down within their cultural and religious context or this non human intelligence just manifested itself in the religious context they understood. What's your answer to that? How are you going to witness to somebody that's in this realm that's having experiences, that's listening to Pasulka and Greer and Bledsoe and Barber and Jesse Michaels? These are gospel conversations. Yeah. It's going to cost you. It's going to cost you freaking being popular at church. The problem is, is that we've got a bunch of Christians that got strong thumbs and we're strong thumbs and weak backs. I want to feel good. Let's get our numbers up.
C
No,
D
the souls of the lost have to matter us.
A
Yeah.
D
We as Christians have to start caring about what the commission was given. Make disciples of all nations preach the gospel again. I don't care if you buy the book. Look, don't give two rips. I care that you read this and know what this says. So no matter what comes, no matter what anybody spouts, you know how to test whatever comes and is said. I give examples, I give the overarching narratives, I give methods of contact, all that stuff. And all I do is take it and test it against the text. You don't need my book for that. True that, but that's this. That's why I wrote the thing. Yeah, that's why for whatever reason God decided to pull me into all this.
A
That's amazing. I mean, it's just that you laid it out so well of just like your story and like your background and like just dangerous situations and then getting mixed into something that is so Prevalent today, which is the UFO stuff and the alien stuff and all that, and that your message is not heard enough of that counter argument of like testing the spirits. And like, I just think it's really cool how you. You painted it too, of just like this whole movement. The people that are answering for it are not believers in Christ. And it's like it is forming a new religion.
D
Yeah.
A
And that's like. That's something you don't really think of. You just think it's like all kind of like. I don't know, it's. You don't view it as a new religion, but it is truly turning into a religion of its own. Yeah, that's spooky.
E
And I like how you got into the. Like how in the. The Vikings, where the Viking section, we're talking about dealing with entities and they present it a certain way and then after something happens, the entities get smart. They're like, okay, like.
A
Yeah, can you tell us about that chapter?
D
Yeah. So the Viking is a guy who my director was connected with through some very, very advanced special operations that they were doing kind of the minimal personnel type stuff with approvals from very high levels. And so they hadn't really connected on this space for a while.
A
The Viking is just the name you've given.
D
Yeah, the Vikings. Because 1. He follows Norse mythology. There are a lot of guys in the military and the police.
B
Right.
D
It's why it's warriors. Right.
B
We.
A
We was that one. What's his face, the CIA director or FBI director Cash Patel said, I'll see Valhalla.
B
Yeah.
D
Like, that's one thing we say.
B
Right?
D
I know it's. But we will say until Valhalla. Right? Because, dude, I could. I get to go fight wars with my brothers every day.
B
Cool.
D
You know, so there's. There's a hunger for purpose, especially within the special operations community, man. Like, like, I'll be 100, honest. The church ain't ready for that. The church is not ready for men that have made, as my buddy Jeremy says, that have made war. Like, we. We have really feminized and softened the church. We have no place for these people, I can tell you. Like, I know in some churches, for me, fortunately, I've got a lot of SF guys and military guys in my church, like my buddy Tony Tim and North Carolina at Rockfish, they've got a lot of CAG and SF guys, but, you know, the majority of the church guys go out and there's no place for them. But with the Viking, he is actually a follower of Norse religion. And he was doing some of these things for different compartments. And then obviously on his own he was also doing it. Sometimes it was meditative, sometimes it was through like DMT or Ayahuasca. He would go on these trips to gather information and I mean you can check all this stuff out. It's open, it's open source. You look at Stargate, Sun Streak, that stuff. Like I'm not giving you anything that the government hasn't released.
F
Yeah.
D
So he was doing these things and he's got no religious background to provide context. And he states that the entities he's meeting are called baal, Molok and Ishtar. So he's like, you know, we hear that and we're like, oh my gosh, like, okay, this is, this is very not good.
A
And what, he has no context?
D
No context whatsoever. He's just. Well, it's kind of like the people that do dmt, right? Why, what is it that's terrified some of the people actually working it. These people keep having the same experiences and meeting the same entities. Yeah, well that's kind of an impossibility if it's just in your mind, right? So when it comes to this, he's having these experiences. The problem was that it started to manifest outside of just those experiences. They had a mountaintop property a few hours from me and they're as I was talking to him and his wife, they were definitely kind of like not doing well. And four year old daughter, according to them had started speaking like foreign languages. She was telling them things that they shouldn't know, things from history, things from the Bible. And whenever that they would say, hey, how do you know this? She's like, oh, the snake, the sneaky snake from the garden told me.
A
Oh my God.
D
So you know, and this is a family that's suffering. So we really tried to witness to them. My director had him down where he was at and he'd stayed at a person's house. He didn't realize all this was going on yet because they wanted to connect. Just dealing with our platform due to some capabilities and connections he had. That's when he found out what was going on. And that person, stuff was going on crazy at the house. Like the cat died, stuff was flying off the walls and he's like, you know, he went from this very high level, very, just incredible operator to just a shattered man. Like he's, he's looking around, he's like, do you see them?
F
They're there.
D
You know, he's like doing like the bowls for The. The tones and burning sage. It was all this stuff. And so anyways, long. Short of it, they. The activity around their cabin got so bad, they just up and left. So we tried witnessing to them and just sharing Christ with them, but unfortunately, they. They kind of wanted to continue down that path because even though they were suffering, they did this weird syncretization of, like, Christianity and new and, like, shamanistic rich. It was really weird, this path they went down. A buddy of mine, actually, because they were trying to sell the property, so they're like, hey, can you go pray for it? Pray. Pray over the property. It's like, well, yeah. Heck, yeah, man. Because I don't. I know. I don't. I don't know if you're gonna sell it. I don't want people walking in to have to experience anything.
A
And Odin just sitting in your yard, dude.
F
Right.
D
Whom do you claim name? But so we go up, me and my buddy, and we get out of the. Of the vehicle, and we. And, dude, it was just like this wall. That is the only way I can describe it. We hit the property walk, and it's just like this wall of darkness that we feel.
C
Just a force.
A
Just.
D
Yeah, it's just something, man. It was, like, pressure and darkness.
F
It was.
D
It was so deep. You know what I mean? And so my buddy looks at me. He's like, dude, we got to start praying now. So I pull out my Bible, and I'm just starting to read Matthew. I'm just going through Matthew, and he's like, just praying. And, like, in the name of Jesus, we take this, you know, we command you to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. We plead the blood of Jesus over this, you know, and just going through. And so we're. I'm walking the property. He's praying, and he walks over to the wood pile, and he's like, hey, hey, there's something on the wood pile. There's. I just feel like there's something here. And about two minutes later, the Viking's wife hits me up, and she's like, hey, just so you know, there's one entity that likes to sit on the wood pile or, like, to hang on the wood pile. And as they do. As they do, right? And that was so. That was kind of like the. The thing.
F
And it.
D
Dude, my heart breaks for a man. They ended up, like. Yeah, they. They ended up going, like, to South America. Now he's actually got hooked up with a shaman. They're building a retreat center. It's like, dude, like.
F
Like.
A
Like the. AYAHUASCA yeah, yeah.
D
It's like, man, it just, you know, it sucks, dude, because it's like, you know, you obviously, like, that's their choice, but, man, it.
C
You just want to shake.
D
Dude, wake up, man.
E
Like, but the thing that's so scary to me is you started out like they were, you know.
D
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
F
Okay.
D
Yeah, I appreciate that. Hit by a vehicle. You're good, you're good. No big deal. Hey, look here, here's. This is what made me so angry about them medically retiring me with epilepsy because I argued I could go to full auto faster than anybody else. Just the problem's the aiming. But hand that fish a gun right now. Point him that way. But the. So we met him in D.C. this is after we had talked with him, and I did pray with him, you know, because you're just. You anything to try to like, dude, turn to Christ.
C
Do what you can.
D
Yeah, turn to Christ. So we meet him in D.C. and we're talking. He looks better and he's like, hey, you know, how's it going, man? We're like. He's like, we're good. How are you? He's like, oh, it's great. I'm talking to Joseph of Arimathea. And we're like, no, no, you're not. So like, as he was starting to go towards the Christian, but with the syncretization of all this stuff, then they started appearing to him as biblical figures.
E
Oh.
D
And so it's. It's. That's what happened. So again, it's.
A
It's what messages were they giving him, man?
D
It was information. It was lots of different things.
A
Really.
D
I'll be honest, I don't remember. Yeah, you know, an example, example, we. We got a guy down in South America who was doing some. Some stuff on the side for us, and he was in connection with a tribe in northern Brazil. And these entities were like, you know, appearing to them that are supposedly non human intelligence. And their message to them was. I'm just giving this an example of like some messages people receive, right? So this tribe was being told by these things. They were being led into practices to better communicate with them and commune. There was like fasting and different other. I don't remember what all was involved, but one of the things that they were saying is like, well, Jesus, he was real. He was a true person. He was really good, but he was created so he isn't, you know, he isn't God. So, you know, the thing is like, within this space, man, and I Will, I will state this the best way I can describe all of this. And the Viking falls into it. There's a flavor for everybody. There's also a lot of complexity and a lot of nuance that is very, very, very difficult to understand. And ultimately you're not going to have the answers for. But we want our answers.
E
Yeah.
D
Well, are they Nords, are they Grays? What's their source? Like, who's working with this one and all that? We dive down so deep. Let me ask you, how does that change your mission if you know what it is?
F
If you know,
D
does that change anything about my life in my day to day and what Christ has called me to in my operational environment? There's a book that I would recommend everybody read called Amusing Ourselves to Death. And what he presents is that with television and it began with the telegram that people started getting inundated with all of these disparate facts that have no connection to their day to day life. And they are consuming it. So now you're at a constant level of stress because you're seeing all these. Because, let's be honest, do good things sell or does chaos sell? Chaos sells. So you're getting all these disparate facts of, oh, this person was murdered, on to the next thing, you're getting this lot. I mean, you can see on Instagram, you can just watch people get their faces pounded in. People getting killed on X, all that stuff.
A
Yeah.
D
Like you're just getting inundated with all of these things that have nothing to do with your life. And we're consumed by it. And we completely ignore our local population or our local areas. And so rather than actually taking part in local politics, things that we can actually do to affect our environment and our operational environment, we retweet, we make a comment, we make a post. I'm doing something. But the whole point of that is that we are consumed by needing to know. You're not going to know. Don't get sucked in. The purpose of a lot of this, and I view it and so does my director, from a Satanic standpoint, deception is to suck you in. I got to know. I got to know all the details. Again, why are you studying the Book of Enoch if you don't know this? Yeah, like you know. Yes, I get we're consumed by the esoteric and the interesting, but we're completely missing what we're called to do.
A
Yeah.
D
And we're. All I can do is affect my operational environment. Like all this stuff over here, I have no control over. Maybe I need to be aware of some things, but I cannot put my time and energy into that because it completely pulls me away and distracts me from this.
A
Yeah, that's very hard, I mean, even for myself, to just accept that fact of, like, you don't. You won't know. Like, you. There's no need to know.
E
That's hard.
A
That's really hard to accept, you know, because it's like every fiber in my being must be like, I want to know exactly what it is.
C
Yeah.
A
And, like, what it's doing and, like, why is it doing it. And it's like, God's just like. I think.
E
Yeah.
A
He's just like, you don't need to know.
D
Yeah.
A
All you need to know is me.
E
Right.
D
Exactly.
A
Yeah.
E
Like, interesting, too, about the. The story you told about the Viking is that as soon as, like, you begin to understand what's going on, they're like, all right, switch it up.
C
Yeah.
E
And so, like, everything you gained going that direction now, it's changed. If you're looking at it from that perspective, where you think you're actually going to figure out an enemy who's been active long before. Yeah, we've been making. Personally been making war against.
D
So my. My buddy Luke, he. He's a retired guy. He runs. What's it called? I can't remember. He's got a bushcrafting and survival school in Tennessee, and it's pretty phenomenal. But he had an experience, and he was talking to me about this experience he had as a kid. He says, these things are very old. They're very knowledgeable, they're very wise, but they're also very weak, because at the name of Jesus, from a little kid, these things had to flee, you know, and that. That's really comes down to the core of all this. This. All this discussion we're having, and everything you guys are doing, everything I'm doing. You got to know Jesus. You have to. What is your calling? What is your mission in life? Who are you affecting? Who are you sharing the gospel with? How are you edifying the body? If you're a pastor, are you. Is all of the ministry being relegated to you? Or as Paul states in Ephesians 4, are you equipping the saints for the work of the ministry? Because that is the job. It is not. The minister does the ministry. It's like, no, you are called to ministry wherever you are at, in whatever capacity. So when it comes to all of this, it's ultimately what all of this discussion comes down to. And I will tell You. The operational environment is changing. We know that. We can demonstrate that. The government's talking about it. This belief system is real. People are talking about it, and it's got legs. So how do we. What do we need to do differently? What do we need to know? What do we need to start to address? How do we need to change so that we are effective in the current operational environment of this war? We can't ignore it anymore. We can't.
A
Yeah,
C
yeah, we gotta just. I think that's one of the main things is, like, when we're talking about what do we need to change? And I think I'm just so minimalist when it comes to my beliefs, where it's just like, it needs to stick with Jesus.
D
Yeah.
C
And, like, I think we just need to get better at explaining who Jesus is and who he calls us to be and who he says we are. Like, that's a big, you know, we just look at the youth today. Identity is a huge problem. Right. Like, just not knowing who we are. And the world around you is going to tell you, point your finger in their face and say, this is you. You find this to be, you know, important.
B
Right.
C
You know all these things, and this is who you need to be. There's one of my, probably, like my favorite quote of all time. It says, if you need to build a boat, you don't just drum up the workers, drum up the supplies, and slowly just start putting together a boat. You teach these sailors to yearn for the vast and endless sea. It's like, we just teach these people who Jesus was, make them fall in love. Like, lay it all out there. Just like, this is who's madly in love with you. You have a mission. Go do it. And they do whatever like God's got on their heart to accomplish their goal, their mission, their path, whatever they got to do, they're gonna do it. Yeah, we just have to lay it out better instead of, I mean, like you said, like, you have churches that don't even have places for guys like you that have, you know, it's like that's, that's, that's who we should be going after. You know, people who are passionate, who want the. The gospel to be spread at all costs. It's like, that's. We should be empowering these people.
D
Yeah. Identity hits it perfectly. And the reason identity hits it perfectly is because that is what a lot of guys from my community struggle with. You know, you. You live, eat and breathe, special operations. You're with small groups of guys. You know, Sebastian Munger, in his TED Talk, why Soldiers Miss War, discusses that whole thing. He's like, think about this. You're 18 years old. You're going to warfare. You've got dudes. You may not like each other, but I'm gonna give my life for you. I know I can trust you. I'll give my life for you. I know you'll give your life for me. You go through these crazy, horrible, insane experiences, but, you know, you've got each
C
other at the most impressionable age as well.
D
Then you. Then you get out in the civilian world. Who's got your back? Who can you trust that he was talking about? One of the guys that were. Was at Restrepo with him. And this lady asked this kid, he's like, you know, what do you miss about it? It's like, I miss almost all of it. Like, I can tell you, like, I. I am very comfortable over there. I would go back in a second. I talked to my buddies. Like, we would all go back a lot of times, because it makes sense. It's easy. We got our guys we can trust. But you really does. Even if you try not to, it becomes your identity. As much as I tried not to, still becomes who you are. It shapes you. It molds you. So the problem is that guys, get out. I'm not running operations anymore. I'm not taking care of my guys. Hardest day of my life was when I had to walk into the office and say, guys, I'm not going to be playing with you anymore. Anymore. I can't protect you. Because that's the thing. As a team start. You want to protect your guys.
B
Yeah.
D
You know, you take ownership for them. You love them. They're your kids. And so the issue is that the only identity that matters and that can truly fulfill is found in Christ. That's why Paul says in Galatians, it's no longer I who live, but Christ that lives in me. The life I live now, I live by faith and son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. Your identity is in Christ. Your job is to die. And then you take that mission set, you put it in a kid or a guy like me and say, all right, here's the mission. They oppress Le Bear free the oppressed. Motto of the Special Forces. All right, these people are oppressed. Free them. Give them Christ. Go out on mission. Some of the strongest evangelists and people in the faith that I know are military guys. They don't really fit in everywhere, but they are very on fire for Christ and They will tell you. My buddy Tony Pryor got a silver star back in Afghanistan. Call him Bucket because his head's like. He's blind as a bat. And I still wouldn't touch the guy. His hands are like mallets. He came from Oregon. Lager stock. The guy is just freaking massive. But, you know, that was. We've had a lot of conversations, him and a couple other guys, and we just discussed, like. Like, all the things that we did and how, man, apart from Christ, I don't know how you make it, man, like, because apart from him, we're nothing.
A
Yeah.
D
And so when you're talking to the kids, your identity is in Christ.
B
The world.
D
Yes, the world will try to shape you. But that's where I think, you know, you look at the Mormons, they're very successful, Right. It's every Mormon kid's dream to be a missionary.
A
Yeah.
D
And they are putting us to shame as far as the number of missionaries they have going out in the field. Why? Because, again, we've replicated this environment of comfort, Right? Yes. Obviously, we need to take care of things. Yes. You're going to go through struggles. So what is the biblical answer for that? How do you work through this and honor Christ? What does the text say? There was a girl that I heard speaking, and she basically was raised in a very, very fire and brimstone type of environment. Never heard about the love of God. And so what she did to really start to believe, like, she wanted to feel the love of God. She wanted to know and believe that he loved her. It took three years. And she said what she did is she wrote down all the verses about God's love. And whenever she started to feel like that God's angry with her and she just hates her or whatever, she said she would just pull out those verses.
E
That's cool.
D
And just read and read and read and read and just allow that to transform her mind and submit to it. And she's like, I don't feel it, but I submit. I don't feel it, but I submit. I give this to you, God. Your word says this. With kids with special operations, with anybody. Identity, your identity should be in Christ. That is the only way that you will be satisfied in your identity. If I was to tell you I'm a terrible person, my buddies will tell you they are terrible people. And apart from Jesus Christ, bereft of all righteousness and capacity, we are not good people given the things that we do and have done.
A
Paul calls himself the chief of sinners.
D
Exactly. Hey, so I'M in good company, right?
E
Yeah.
D
But it doesn't matter if you're in Christ, you're dead to yourself. You should be die to yourself. Allow Christ to live through you.
C
Living sacrifice, man.
D
Holy and acceptable to God. Amen.
C
So good, Paul.
D
You're a man.
F
I'm pumped.
A
I want to go shoot some people love.
C
I want to fight a demon.
A
Dude, are you down for a Patreon episode after this? It's like a 30 minute thing.
B
Sure.
A
All right, because I want to talk more about. We touched on a little bit, but I want to hear more about your take on Chris Bledsoe and stuff.
C
Yeah, man. Oh, yeah.
A
Because I have some thoughts on Chris Bledsoe. But dude, thank you so much for coming on.
D
Yeah, man.
A
Awesome.
E
Go get his book. Or don't get it. Or don't get it.
A
Yeah, you know what?
D
I don't care. Get a Bible. Get in that thing.
C
If you don't have a Bible, don't buy his book.
D
Book.
C
But if you do have a Bible, buy his book.
D
Yeah, exactly.
C
August 18th, it drops. Is there any other thing that you want to plug? Kind of push?
D
Yeah, just look, guys, I. I love you like you guys. If you're a Christian, you're listening to this. I love you. You're my family. Like, we are going to stand before God. We're going to give an account. You mean so much to me. I want you all to hear. Well done, good and faithful servant. Because when all this burns away and we stand before him, what are you going to hear and who's going to be there next to you? If you don't know Christ and you're listening to this man. God loves you. He died for you. He sent his son so that we could have forgiveness of sins and be made alive. But if you reject that, you are headed to an eternity apart from him. And I don't want that for you. And that's all, man.
E
Amen.
B
You're the man, Paul. Thank you so much.
C
We love you guys.
B
We'll see you on Patreon.
F
It.
A
Bye bye.
D
Bye bye dolphin. What you're about to see.
F
Wow.
D
May disturb you nominal. If any of you know what these
E
multi decade UAP dolphins are.
D
Aliens have a hot bottle nose fish pigs.
B
Was a massive police response.
D
Oh, the dolphin thing. Oh, my Golphin style attack.
E
All right, we do a quick thumbnail. So we just move the mic, the headphones and then a couple expressions straight down. Maybe get one of these shirt on, shirt off.
D
Y' all maybe gonna do the tap.
Title: Paul Bock EXPOSES Steven Greer & The Demonic UAP Disclosure Agenda
Date: August 7, 2026
Hosts: Josh Hooper & Andy DeNoon
Guest: Paul Bock (former Green Beret, investigator of UAPs/UFOs, author)
This episode features Paul Bock, a former Green Beret who has transitioned from unconventional warfare and counterterrorism to investigating the spiritual and societal implications of the UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) movement. Bock discusses alleged demonic elements within the modern UFO disclosure agenda, the formation of a new belief system around UAPs, and what the Church—and all listeners—must consider in light of the growing mainstream coverage and fascination with these phenomena.
The discussion traces Bock’s military service, his journey through spiritual burnout, his interaction with prominent figures like Steven Greer, supernatural experiences, and an impassioned plea for preparedness—spiritually and intellectually—as the world confronts the possibility of UAP “disclosure”.

Paul Bock urges listeners—especially Christians—to wake up to the spiritual realities underlying the current UAP/UFO disclosure movement. He challenges the Church to know scripture deeply, prepare for unique gospel conversations, and not to be swept away either by fear or by fanciful distraction. The stakes are high: a new belief system is forming, masquerading as the answer to humanity’s spiritual hunger. The answer, he insists, is still Christ.
For listeners who want more, Paul’s book "The Disclosure Agenda" (August 18th) aims to address these issues—but his ultimate plea is: “Don’t buy my book if you don’t have a Bible. Get into the Word.” (122:00)
