Fortunately, we don’t have to guess at his answers because he took that question head-on in Chapter 19, and we get to explore it today. Message by Chris Brown on May 2, 2026. Have you ever noticed it’s much easier to call yourself a Christian than to actually live like a follower of Christ? Today we’ll look at one of the biggest reasons why, and how it’s become a major stumbling block in American Christianity. The topic of willingly laying down our rights for others is a tough one to swallow, but Jesus will show why it is necessary, and how to do it. Message by Larry Osborne on April 25, 2026. What happens when the “spiritual recipe” that worked before… doesn’t work anymore? This weekend, we’ll take a look at a moment in Matthew 17 where the disciples run into that exact problem, and it forces a bigger question: have we started trusting a formula instead of trusting God? Message by Chris Brown on April 4, 2026. Almost everyone has heard of Jesus and knows something about Him. So how much do you have to know about Jesus to be saved? Isn’t just believing that he was the Son of God and died on the cross enough? Maybe today we should look at what Jesus said about Himself, and all other religions as well. Message by Larry Osborne on March 28, 2026. The biggest enemies of Jesus weren’t outsiders, they were the most religious people in the room. This weekend, we’ll see how easy it is to drift into that same trap, and how to avoid becoming an accidental Pharisee. Message by Chris Brown on March 21, 2026. I believe that we live in a culture today that is one of the most divided and adversarial in American history. However, for a Christian, the goal has not changed, and we still need to be led by the Spirit to know how Jesus would navigate these divisions and all the animosity that goes with them. Fortunately for us, we don't have to guess or pick sides on this answer, because our text will make it clear for all of us today regardless of what side of the issues we may be standing on.
