Tana
So I don't even know what I'm saying here, really. So there's that. Hey, so I have an advice show, but I have no idea what the I'm saying.
Caller
Hello.
Trisha
Welcome to Not.
Tana
Welcome to Not Loveline. We are having the best day ever.
Trisha
It's such a high when we go out and eat before and then come back. Because we did it one other time. We went to Chili's before we podcasted, and it just felt like, so good vibes because everyone at Chili's was so nice, and that's how it felt. Like many Han. Like, everyone was so nice, and it's just, like, good. It felt like we were in a casino because it has no windows, and we have no windows in here. So we're just, like, going from, like, one casino to another.
Tana
And that's my. Those are my best days anyhow. Going from one casino to another and also getting a good meal. And we had the Trish Trio at Benihana. And the protein, we've been protein maxing, like, just. It's. It honestly is a healthy, good meal. Like, rice and meat and all those things. And the truffle butter on the steak.
Trisha
Did you dip a little? Because you were like, we were all over the place. We're chefing.
Tana
I was dunking. And then Mokoa brought the rest to go, which is just so him. So, like, he knows me. Like, I'll eat the rest tonight.
Trisha
Daddy loved it because he was like, oh, if you guys, like, over there, that rice not being eaten, we'll take it. And then we weren't eating our rice. We'll take that too. So it's like, I love that he, like, loved it. I will say Benny Hunter does warm up really, really well. Like, I do love a bunny hunt. Anyways. Not sponsored by Ben Hannah. And not even. That was, like, sponsored. I literally.
Tana
She loves saying non sponsored, but it's like, girl, you are the Trish Trio. Like, I get what you're saying, and
Trisha
that's getting a little bonus every time someone eats a Trish Trio. Yeah. You know what I mean?
Tana
You should be, though, because I've only really ever had a few. And then I told you my last experience at Benihana was kind of a bad one, and today was so rewritten. I have. I under. You were telling me that you used to go there for, like, every Christmas and holiday, and I completely get why, like, and us being the chefs and stuff, like, obviously I was so unserious. It was so fun. And they let us be so silly, too, which Was nice. I can film.
Trisha
And, yeah, it was cool. Because usually what you do when you're a Benihana, like, chef for a day, I, like, literally promote this, like, as if I have stock in the company. Like, I promise, like, that's not like that. But if. When you go to be a chef, usually you just go in ahead of time before your guests arrive, so you learn that practice meal, and then when the guests come, they don't know that you did the practice meal, and all of a sudden you know all these techniques, and they're like, wow, this is so cool. But all our guests. Moses was just gonna drop me off. He was just waiting till you got there. Because we parked. Usually we park valet too, and we parked on the street, and he's like, oh, I'll just, like, go down the street or something like that while you guys do it. But then when we saw everyone, like, Makoa. Well, everyone. Mokoa and Megan, Kai, I was like, oh, I guess, like, just. You could probably just stay and watch us do the practice.
Caller
Yeah.
Tana
I wanted him to say, oh, but I get what you're saying. Like, the. The boys, the men should have gone down the street and then came after.
Trisha
Like, it's when you have. Usually you have to have a min. Minimum of eight people there. So I think when you have, like, a large group coming and you want to, like, surprise them with your chef techniques. But because we were, like, filming a Patreon, which, by the way, patreon.com not loveline, is gonna be so lit this month. Okay. It has our rehearsals from Vegas. Yes, it has. Our Benihana chef. We have been going one for one. Every time we do a main. We've been doing a Patreon. We've been like, really? I mean, these looks are so good. I literally was like, in the car, I was like, I feel like this should be, like, a main channel video. I feel like it's so good.
Tana
So funny today, because Gus, our chef, I. I turned to Trisha, and I was like, this feels so simple. Life coded. Obviously, you do know how to cook at Benihana. But I'm like, a literal moron.
Trisha
Don't you say that. I just pretended like I was trying to cut that steak, and I was like, I don't know, like, cutting on. You have no idea. Like, I can. I know their jokes. I know the routine. I just cannot do it. Yeah.
Tana
And our chef's name was Gus. And Gus was, like, just so down to let us be. So Paris and Nicole about it, like, even like, the way I was, like, cutting the rice and, like, different stuff or chopping the. Whatever.
Trisha
Chopping the egg was crazy. I love your little, like, tapping of it. And I was like, I love this so much.
Tana
And it was so funny. I was like, this is such a good Patreon episode. Like, I've been having so much fun doing, I don't know, real life stuff, like, out in public stuff with you for Patreon. We should keep it up.
Trisha
Really fun.
Tana
We should do Pilates next.
Trisha
We did Pilates. Oh, for yours. Oh, yeah. We should do a tower as. We could go to my Platt. Yeah, do it. Yeah, that'd be. I would love.
Tana
And honestly, I never want to do the one we did for mine again. Hit Pilates was so impressive.
Trisha
That was the craziest thing.
Tana
I shouldn't say never, but, like, I'm just not giving hit yet.
Trisha
Well, because that was just so much cardio with the Pilates. And I love. I love Pilates because it's, like, not. It's like, strength training more than cardio. And we love cardio. We're dancers and we're treadmillers and all that stuff like that.
Tana
But I honestly, I think that that day I figured out that HITS stood for High Intensity training.
Trisha
Oh, is that what it's called? I thought it was, like, Lagree Pilates
Tana
or something, but we took a hit Pilates class at Lagree. Like, we took high intensity training Pilates. And honestly, you murdered. But I felt highly intense.
Trisha
Yeah, that was. That was. That was bad.
Tana
That was.
Trisha
But I. I do love going out in public with.
Tana
And I love our double dates. Like, it's just so. Makoa and Moses are just so supportive of us and so down for us to be, like, the stars.
Trisha
I hope you can hear Mako, because he wasn't Mike. But, like, everything Tana did, he's like, wow. Whoa, babe. Like, he was so literally his toddler. But it was so exciting. It was so fun to watch. And he is just, like, such a good time. It was so fun. And because of filming purposes, like, there was like. I took a picture just, like, Miko and Moses sitting next to each other. It was like they just like, we're on a date together, just talking and stuff like that. It was so cute. It was so fun. Yeah, we had a great chef. It was. Yeah, it was fun to be there because it's, like, literally my favorite place in the whole world. It's such a big part of my book. I got the deal in March of this year, but I've been writing my book for two years, and Benihana is such a recurring theme in my book.
Tana
That's actually crazy.
Trisha
Yeah. There's so many. Like, me and Moses has such a connection there. I found out quarantine was happening because of Benihana. Like, I found out everything. It's so real.
Tana
I forgot that you, like, went to the Benihana. It was close.
Trisha
Yeah. It was a whole thing. And, like, Christmas is everything. Like, Benihana is my everything. And so it was just fun to be there with you because you're, like, so, like, special. And it was just nice. You're just so. You are so supportive because it's just like.
Tana
I mean, it was like. I'm not even kidding you. We get there and the Trish Trio sign is outside, and so many girls are there, like, supporting you and being like. These two girls came in and they were like, we were just watching Not Loveline on our way to get the Trish Trio. And then we came and we got the Trish Trio. And then we see you guys in the back. And first of all, I was just dying laughing because I was like, imagine the mind. Like, imagine you. And I went to get, like, the Adam Sandler Trio. And then, like, he's sitting there in the back. It's like, did you live here?
Trisha
Right?
Tana
Like, and listening to not Loveline. And then we were both there and stuff, but people were just so sweet. Sweet. And it's bomb as all hell, too. Like, you know, it's not like you're putting your name on some, like, ass latte with sunscreen in it or something.
Trisha
Like, if you want to try, you're like, let's get those sunscreen lattes.
Tana
Actually.
Trisha
What was that? Smoothie.
Tana
Yeah, but, like, it's just.
Trisha
It's the meal I've been eating my entire life. Like, they renamed it. It's called the Benihana Trio on a regular meal. And then they literally renamed it Trish Trio. And then they added the truffle butter to it, and I was just like, it was so cool. Yeah, it's like 100. Yeah, that's the coolest. What's like you with pickles? It's like, anything that you truly love. It's like tart. You know, you use the combo all the time. Like, when you Domino's it. Like, when you love something, it's, like, actually insane that they'll partner with you.
Tana
Saying, that's why the hype is so genuine, because I'm so happy for you. I think it's so cool. Obviously, now and again you see, like, a celebrity or someone, like, put their name on something where. And I've done it. Like, I'm not saying it's, like, bad, but you can tell when someone's putting their name on something that, like, they've loved their whole life. And the way they just, like, radiate about it.
Trisha
It is my favorite. It was so fun. Yeah. And for the. The deal, it literally was like, you thank. Three social posts were required at the beginning of May, and I've been doing, like, literally 100 social posts. And I'm just like. But I would do it regardless. I was doing it regardless. I will do it regardless forever. And that's it. I love it so much.
Tana
Yeah.
Trisha
But that's everything. Anything we, like, we talk about. And I think that's like, it. The organic. The organicness. And we got our certificates. Did you leave yours in your car? We got Master Chef.
Tana
Oh, Makoa took it home.
Trisha
I don't want to ruin it. It was so cute. We have a picture of. Oh, I should have put that in the dump. I was posting too fast and there was one of us, like, holding this. Dang. I'll put in my TikTok. I'll put it in my TikTok. Because I was like, ah, it was so cute. I was like, in the car, just, like, looking at the photos and just, like, so excited.
Tana
I'm driving on the freeway to get to your house, and I just. I'm posting, by the way, as you're posting. I'm posting. But the difference is I'm posting photos that I took an entire calendar month ago, 30 days ago, I was on a beach, and I posted them today. That is my Instagram turnaround rate. And I get Trisha Paytas tagged you in a post, and I'm like, how the do you, like, get things to Instagram so fast?
Trisha
I do love posting right away. It's just like, the excitement. It's a weird thing too. Like, excitement wears off for me, like, a couple days. Not like, I think that's more like a mental illness thing. Like my borderline. It's just like, I get. Get so excited, and then, like, a couple days, I'm kind of, like, over it, which makes me not over it, but then I want to chase, like, the next time. Like, that was so fun. What's next? You know what I mean? So I feel like I like to
Tana
post, so it makes you. You, though. I don't think it's a bad thing. I think that's what makes you so excited about everything all the time, and, like, just all your fun, like, interests.
Trisha
Thanks. We had, like, a whole curated photo dump. You were doing, like, everywhere. You were, like, all over the place.
Tana
I can't wait to post that. I'm so excited. It just. It was fun. I really do love the double date of it all. I love when we venture out into the real world. And I love the Trish trio. Like, that is just me promoting her thing. That is bomb. But, like, it's so good.
Trisha
We were talking about doing the Betty on a chef for a day. Like, even before that even happened. It was so crazy. We had talked about it, and then when I found out, like, maybe it was happening, I was like, oh, my God. Maybe we should, like, wait until it's out. And then it just feels.
Tana
I know. I'm almost happy that my first time doing it was literally to, like, I got to, like, make the Trish.
Trisha
Yeah, it was fun. It was fun that we got to, like, cook our meal too, like, with it and, like, to also, like, serve and, like, I don't know. It was just really fun. It was fun to watch you cook. You're looking so, like, Palm Springs housewife. I love this.
Tana
Like, I do feel a little. Capris are super in, so I'm trying. Trying to try them out. Aren't they back?
Trisha
I love Caprice.
Tana
And they're so comfy because they're stretchy. I was like, really?
Trisha
Where are these from? I haven't seen Capri.
Tana
Honestly. Amazon?
Trisha
No way.
Tana
Because I wanted capris, and then everywhere else, they were, like, sold out or, like, 150 bucks. And I was like, I need to try capris for, like, 20 bucks.
Trisha
Oh, my God.
Tana
I'll send you the link.
Trisha
Yeah. They're actually so cute. You should do your Amazon. Amazon link. You look so good. Wow.
Tana
We. We've talked about everything under the sun. Yesterday was so fun. I will say. I don't know how to explain, like, today, I'm so tired. I'm the most tired I've been in a long time. But you, I don't know, you just have this special way of taking me out of it or making me forget that I'm so tired.
Trisha
So when I saw you, I know I didn't. I've actually. Yeah. I never seen you. I knew something. There was, like, an energy shift today just at the beginning, and you do. You are like.
Tana
But it's you. You'll pull me out of it. Like, I was on my way there, and I was like, I'm literally my Eyes. I kept having to put eye drops because my eyes were burning so much. I don't even use eye drops. I was like, I'm just so tired. Yeah, but it's because at the same. That was why it was my shower manifestation where I was like, this is everything you've ever wanted. And it really is like, to be so tired because of all of these blessings, all of these things that I could never dream of. Like, you know what I mean? It's just.
Trisha
Well, you don't stop, like, literally even here. It was like. Like Meg was doing one thing for you. And then Kyle and edit. You're editing, like, you're right here. Editing for, like, Brands Safe. Like, you're doing. You do so much. You. I think it looks like I do a lot, but you're literally have to have, like a team to help you get five things done at the same time. You know what I mean? Which is like, it really impressive.
Tana
I'm always telling Brittany that. I'm like, if we just had a Tana clone who could just sit down and film DraftKings casino ads on loop, we'd be so stuck. It's funny, last night I had a call about the stock market.
Caller
What?
Tana
And I was like, should I get into stocks? Like, I'm just always doing something like, how can my money, like, make its own money?
Trisha
Just, like, just a brand or someone, like, referred you to someone.
Tana
Honestly, I was talking to my real estate girl about it because she's really big in it and she's just such a boss bitch. I want to. I want to do an episode of Brand Safe with her at some point because she. Obviously that's another space that's. It's not necessarily male dominated, but you see a lot of men. And even whenever I work with her on anything, I'm always watching her deal with a thousand men. And she, like, commands a room in the bitchiest way. And she, like, always, like, she doesn't take no for an answer. She knows how to get what she wants in life. She has her sewed together.
Trisha
Is she like a business manager too, or is she just a realtor or does she do financing?
Tana
We've been friends for a long time, and I was friends with her sister. And then I got to know her and she does real estate. But she gives me a lot of advice, like, as a friend, like, I wouldn't make this investment. I wouldn't do. Like, I've been trying to figure out what I want to do with my house and all these things. And she's Very like, you know what I mean? She'll step outside the bounds of just like, I'm your real estate agent. I'll sell you anything. Like, she actually. My dream house that I found before this house had mold. And she was like, tana, you cannot buy this house. It is a horrible price. There's mold everywhere. Like, I know you love it. You have to let it go. And she was telling me that the other day she did an interview and she was like, they asked her the most heartbroken she'd ever been, like, telling a client no. And she was saying, like, I. I told that story.
Trisha
Is he like a social media, like, realtor too?
Tana
Not really.
Trisha
Honestly, she interview for, like, real estate?
Tana
Yeah. She's just like, she's esteemed. She kills it. She's a baddie.
Trisha
That is my inspiration.
Tana
I don't know. I mean, I don't know much about them, but I'm definitely getting to this point in life where, you know, I mean, how lucky are we to have done this for 10 years, right? And every day is a blessing. And I wake up surprised. You know what I mean? Like, how the do people still care and like, every single. Another day in this job, in this life is truly a miracle. But I think it's important as an influence, influencer to like, you know, divvy up your sources of income and, like, just have your own back. And, like, am I gonna be 50 and vlogging? Probably. But, like, you know, I know.
Trisha
No, it's such a real thing to think about. It's like, what does it look like? But it changes so much. I don't know.
Tana
I probably always will because I just love it so much. It's literally who I am. Like, money and views and all those things aside, Like, I truly love it. But, I don't know, you just want to protect yourself and your kids and your future. And I don't know. Men are always, like, checking the stocks. I also love to gamble. It's like, maybe like, do that.
Trisha
I do the lottery every day or five days a week. I'm always just like, that was. That's my backup plan. Hopefully I win. One of these days you're gonna win
Tana
the lottery and it's gonna be so crazy.
Trisha
I would.
Tana
I'm serious. Like, it's really going to happen. And then people are gonna feel like there's no way. Like, how did she do that?
Trisha
I've been talking about it. There's one, like, manifested manifestation technique is like, they always say, like, to say it to the universe. I feel like I've been saying it every day for the past five years,
Tana
and I feel like then you're going to have to go on almost like a TED Talk tour.
Trisha
Yeah.
Tana
Like Joel Osteen style on, like, how to manifest your dream life.
Trisha
Because the church where I let people in during the flood. Shout out SeatGeek for sponsoring this episode of Not Loveline. Summer is here. Summer of music, Summer of love. I know you're going to see some sad boy summer over here. You're going to see some Noah Khan, Lewis Capaldi.

Tana
And they are the best. And really, honestly, everyone is just on tour right now and like, I. There's no better dopamine than a concert. Like, forgetting about everything in the outside world, seeing live music with people that you love, just immersing yourself in that world, seeing your favorite artist. And seatgeek is the best for getting tickets.
Trisha

Trisha
That's 10 off tickets with promo, not loveline 10.
Tana
Thank you so much to SeatGeek for sponsoring today's episode. We love you. I was writing a question for one of the games we're going to play on stage with some fun guests. One of the questions I wrote was, who is most likely to be a mega church pastor? And then we have all these, like, influencers to, like, choose from and, like, talk about whatever.
Trisha
That's so fun.
Tana
And I was thinking about. I was like, you. You can perceive this negatively, but you're obviously one of the options to choose. And I was like, I could literally see Trisha having, like, a Trisha mega church where it's, like, all good.
Trisha
It's like a dream of mine. And I think it has such a negative connotation, like, a megachurch. But I love those so much. Like, I love to Tammy Faye Baker. I love, like, righteous gemstones, even though it's fake. Like, I love, like, the idea of, like. I guess, like, God can be, like, scary to people because it's, like, such a religious connotation. But to me, it's like, God is source, God is universe, God is energy. God is all that. So it's like, that's what I would preach it as, but sometimes it can be a little scary. But that's what's, like, fun. Even when I do, like, I love you, Jesus does feel very, like. Like we're all in unison. And it's like, again, Jesus is not, like, just Jesus Christ. Jesus is like this, like, just, like,
Tana
I could see you having, like, the happiest, pinkest, like, gayest, most accepting mega church ever. Like, I really could. I was, like, giggling about it because I was like, there's obviously other people on the screen. Like, Austin McBroom was one of the options. And I was laughing because I was like, why could I see Austin McBroom?
Trisha
Yeah, I actually could see him doing that.
Tana
Having a megachurch and Snapchatting it, and, like, that'd be awful. But then I was like, you could have a. Like, a good megachurch.
Caller
I would.
Trisha
Absolutely. That would be really fun. I do always give a little, like, speech after I love before. I love Jesus. I'm like, you know what? He loves you just as you are. You're perfect. He made you as is. Like, you know, I do try to do that.
Tana
It's gonna be so good. I'm so excited.
Trisha
All right, should we get into some.
Tana
Let's get into some calls.
Trisha
Yeah, let's get into some calls.
Caller
Hi, Trisha. Hi, Tana. This is gonna be, like, a good news type of story, so, like, no drama, no beef. I'm gonna get married soon, on June 26, to the love of my life. We met during COVID Just like Trisha And Moses. And we've been together ever since. And I'm super, super, super, super excited. Like, living my life treats me the best. Also the only boyfriend I've ever had. Not in, like, a weird religious way, but more in, like a I grew up fat type of way. But anyways, I have no idea what to write for my vows because I stuck with words. He is so poetic, so magical. And I'm just gonna be like, I love you so much. I do. Any advice on how I can, like, really, like, write my vows and make them beautiful? Since you guys are in your, like, writer, author era? Anyways, love you guys.
Tana
Bye, Shade.
Trisha
Writer, author era. We are in our writer, author era.
Tana
We are in our writer, author era. That's funny. Kyle and I were talking about that at, like, 3:00am last night. Our writer, author era.
Trisha
We really had to get brought up
Tana
while editing because this next episode of Brand Safe is super sad. Cause I'm talking about, like, the looming death of my birth mother. And I guess I was, like, saying that I only like to, like, film or write. Not profound, but, like, deeper, darker things when I'm going through it. Like, I really struggle with that, with my book. I only want to write my book when I'm sad. Like, if I'm having, like, a happy, good day, I'm not. I'm like, I don't want to write my book. I feel like my thoughts form more, I guess eloquently and, like, in depth. And I can be more serious when I'm already sad. But then it's like, if I have a good, like, two weeks, like, the book's not getting written. Interesting. So it's like, a struggle that I. I don't know. I'm trying to work through. But it's funny too, because you and I actually just on a different episode of Not Loveline, had a whole conversation about vows.
Trisha
Was it on not living or was it off?
Tana
I think it was awesome. Yeah, we always go back to the wedding combos. Like, I feel like we've had a
Trisha
lot of Wedding vows are really important. Like, the most important thing. You're gonna have people, like, do notes on your vows.
Tana
Yes. Literally.
Trisha
I was like. I thought of it when I was standing up there. Like, I didn't think about it at all.
Tana
And honestly, honestly, like, I'm definitely way too far this way.
Trisha
Like, there is.
Tana
There is a truth to both sentiments. Right? Like, writing it out and making them beautiful and gorgeous is always a great thing. You know, Write those vows, girl. But also, like, just saying what's on your heart in the moment is also so true. There's no wrong answer. Obviously. I was saying I hate the frat man who's like, you're my world. And then like, that's it. And he's hammered. Like, and that's the whole wedding. But like, I don't know, like, as long as it's from your heart, yeah, that's all that matters. I also, I don't know who's around you during this time. You could be eloping and this could be useless advice, but, like, lean on the people who know you and love you. Like, I, I say step one, like, word vomit onto a paper. That's, that's where my head would go if I was writing my vows. Just maybe when you first met, like, why this person makes you feel so comfortable and happy, what you're excited about for the rest of your life. Like, you know nothing about sex because people do weird in their vows. I hate that.
Trisha
Oh, yeah.
Tana
Unless that's like your thing. Like, you know, freaking.
Trisha
I think even if it's your thing, don't do it like at your wedding because it's like, on video. It's for your kids to see in the future. Like, it's weird.
Tana
Yeah, people really do do that. They're like, I just love the way you bend over and it's like, you know, you're at an altar, right?
Trisha
No, I know. Like, in front of God. Here you are.
Tana
It's funny that you and I are on that side of Tik Tok. Like sexual Val TikTok.
Trisha
I was seeing so many and I couldn't believe it. I was like, divorce? Like, what do you mean?
Tana
Yeah, it's just especially coming from a man because why would they.
Caller
Yeah.
Tana
And then maybe run it by some people you love. Maybe just sit and really think about what speaks to you. Cuz the beautiful thing too is like, this isn't for anyone else. Right? Like, you two could have an inside joke or a nickname you call each other. Like the first meal you ever ate or the first movie you ever bonded over. Or the first. Like you. There's so many firsts and like, beautiful memories that you guys have created. That's obviously why you're getting married, so stop doubting yourself. You know, your husband might be the like, poetic, beautiful one, but like, these words coming from your mouth are just as important.
Trisha
Yeah, I I with you 100. When we talked about the other day, I was so, like, when you talk about how special they are, and you're right, they should be a little More deep. I regret not doing at least bullet points like you, like. I like what you said. Just putting it all on the paper and, like, narrowing it down. I wish I would have at least bullet points where I wanted to hit. Because as soon you're up there and as soon as everything's happening, it's just like, you just kind of. I was giggling. I was so nervous, the whole thing, and it's like you kind of forget. So I wish I would have, like, bullet points. I'm really good at that. Like, if I have, like, notes, if I, like, want to talk to you about something and I have, like, bullet points, at least I know I can hit those because, like, visually I can see it, and I wish I would have done that. So I think, yeah, a. A little preparation is great.
Tana
Cheat.
Trisha
Even if you just see it before you walk down the aisles, like, it's in my. Or even just writing it, you kind of soak it in. I just had no thought whatsoever when I started Moses.
Tana
Oh, my God. If I just went up there, I feel like I'd be like, I love the way your scalp smells after you shower.
Trisha
Literally. I was literally like, I love that your water. I was like, it was so weird. I was like, that is. That is what.
Tana
That is exactly what I would end up doing.
Trisha
I was very, very embarrassed.
Tana
I'm always calling Makoa Uchi. I'd be like, uchi, I love your scalp. I do love, like, it would be so bad.
Trisha
That's kind of cute, though. A little nickname. I do love a little inside, like, not joke, but like a little inside thing between you two for that. That's kind of cute. You know what I mean?
Tana
Something that you both will never forget that's happened. And, you know, talking about that, those are. There's also all the buzz I'll never forget when. And like, I knew that you were the one when, like, maybe even sit with some prompts for yourself like that. Yeah, I know that even that book that I got you, not that we're getting married, but it was a set of. I wrote vows to Trisha.
Trisha
There was a point where I was
Tana
like, this is kind of gay unless BNN vibes. But I was like, at the same
Trisha
time, like, it's my favorite thing in the whole world. It's my most like, price possession. I love it so much.
Tana
Yeah, I was just lesing out in my vows to you, but wrong with that during Pride. But they have those books on Amazon and, like, everywhere they're on TikTok that are like, 100 things I love about you or, like, why I love my boyfriend. Like, maybe order one of those. It gives you the prompts. You fill them out. You take your favorite pages. Those could be the point.
Trisha
Yeah, Anything but chat. GPT. Don't use that.
Tana
Yeah.
Trisha
It's killing us all.
Tana
But, yes, you. There are so many.
Trisha
I know when you said Uchi, like, him just, like, speaking Indonesian, like, randomly in Benny Hana today, I was like, oh, my gosh. He, like, found out that, like, our. Our chef Gus and our. Like, our. Our waiter, Ryan. I'm sorry. I love Ryan. I don't want to forget his name because he's always there. That we're from the same island in Bali. Yeah. Yeah. And then I was like, where? And then he, like, said something very niche, right? Because, like, Bali's Bali. But he was just like. Like, I don't know, this. This certain area. And they're like, oh, my gosh. Everyone's, like, freaking. They were freaking out, and everyone knew. And then he went up to go do. Because then we were like, oh, it'd be kind of cute if, like, we just switched with the guys because we got tired of cooking. Like, just, like, let them cook, even though they cook all the time. And so then he went up, and then when he, like, sat down, he, like, thanked the chef. I think it was an Indonesian. Because I asked. I was like, oh, what, like, language is that? I was like, so crazy. I'm like, how did you just know that? Because he said something. I was like, that's crazy. He's like, yeah, I know. A little.
Tana
Yeah. He is like, that's the thing I love the most about makoa is just, like, so cultured. Like. Like, can point out anything on a map. Like, just very worldly, because very, very worldly and always trying to become more worldly. It's so funny. His YouTube recommended page, like, you know how, like, you get on YouTube and it recommends you videos? Mine are like, I tried 17 Disney snacks stoned. And his YouTube recommended videos are like, why Gravity does this? Like, all he watches is like, wow, Intelligent ash all the time.
Trisha
So smart. Even when you were like, give a speech. Because, like, we were going up there and we were just, like, saying whatever. I was like, welcome to Benihana. Then you were like, that, you know, you're like, this is the pet. Like, whatever we were saying. And then you're like, oh, yeah, say something. And so he's just like, because he's gonna do the volcano at Benihana. And he was just like, you Know like most of the earth wouldn't be here if it wasn't for volcanoes. Yeah. He just like kept going on and on and I was like, wait, okay, but like that's everything that you like ate with that? Because I had no idea. No, literally, like for volcanoes, honestly, him
Tana
and I are a great balance because I'm so like peepee poo poo humor coded. And then he will really say like the smart thing, you know what?
Trisha
But you're so different in like, in a good way. I mean, you're you for sure, but you are a more chill and like just like, you're just like chill girl when you're around like Mako. Like, it's so funny. It's like. And it's really cute and you're really cutesy and you're really like just quiet and cute. I don't know. There's like not quiet. That's like the wrong word.
Tana
But I become a little more demure. That is why I love him too though, because he is like, you truly love me? Me for my best qualities and my worst.
Trisha
Beaming. Just happy, just excited. Like, whoa. I think just like filming everything. Like, it was really, really cute.
Tana
I know. He is. I love him so much. The same with you and Moses. Like the way you two look at each other, it's literally the same thing. And I, I think that's why I get so excited for our double dates too because it's like it's more than just a double date. It's like, look, we're so healed and together and the four of us are here and like we also. We accredit so much of who we are now to them. Like we wouldn't necessarily be as peaceful or healed or secure or it's the stability they provide.
Trisha
Like you said after like a bad day going home to like say problems, it's like, okay, here's a way to fix it. Or it's Mokoa's. Dang, let's have dinner. You know what I mean? It's just like it, it diffuses situations that we like make up in our head and just all this like crazy stuff. And it's, it's.
Tana
And we feel so safe. So it's like when it's the four of us together, it feels like this like almost like this union, you know, of. Of their crazy girls who like are they let be the star of the show with a smile on their face and then they are so. And informational and supportive and I don't know, it's this beautiful union that we formed. Even, like that photo of the four of us outside of Benny Han, I was just like, this is so sweet. Like, I obviously, I will always remember everything forever that we do. But I don't know, there's certain, like, memories that we make. And as we do things out in the public, I'm like, I will never forget this. And I'm so grateful for, like, what I have. And that's what I mean. Like, I showed up, say, super tired, and then I got there and I was like, I'm so lucky. Like, life is just so lucky. And I love what we have. Like our little. Our little union, our little family. It's just. It's really, really.
Trisha
I mean, the fact that you showed up after like, the night you had and everything and like, what you were telling me and I was honestly, the
Tana
week that you had, honestly still excited. Like, it's funny because I woke up at like 11, after going to bed at like 4, and I was like, my eyes burn. I'm dying, whatever. But then as soon as I see you, I'm just like, you know, I'm happy.

Tana
God, I love it.
Trisha
You and Makoa. Do people know your other car or no, you know what kind it is? Oh, you talked about on here. You talked about. Because I never saw it and it was just like, literally, like, watching, like, True Romance. Like, it was just like, this movie. And you're, like, pulling up in, like, this, like, blue baby blue convertible. And Nicole looks so cool. And Tana looks so cool. She has her son. Like, how she is now. She's giving sunglasses, like, California Babe. Just, like, pulling in.
Tana
That does make you feel so I.
Trisha
I guess now that I know you showed the car, I didn't want to post it, but it was all. I said it to you, too. Like, it was just such a cool video. I was like, oh, my God. Because I was like, let's wait outside so we get a picture by the picture by the picture. And then when we saw. I like. Because Moses saw your first car going, because it was Kyle and Meg gig. And so he's like, oh, they're out there. And so we thought, oh, we're waiting for you to park, and then you guys come through. And I was like. I was kind of gay because I sure already came through. I was like, wait, okay. Like, yeah, he knows this cute couple.
Tana
I love taking the convertible because, like, if it's close by, if it's like. And Mako obviously wasn't coming to Loveline, so we took two cars and stuff, and I was like, I want to ride with you in our convertible. It is the type of car that makes you feel. Even if you, like, look like. Or just like, whatever it is you get in that car, and you're like, I'm a vibe. Like, it's such a vibe.
Trisha
You look so cool. Was that your first episode of Brand Safe was in there?
Tana
Yes, yes.
Caller
So.
Trisha
And it's, like, even cooler in person because, like, I recognize it. But then in person, I was just,
Tana
like, driving down the street, too. It's just. You do feel so cool in it. But it is funny. Like, even right now, we're having a problem with it where when you push the gas down, the gas pedal stays stuck to where you pushed it, and you have to, like, pull it back with your foot.
Trisha
It's like an old car, right?
Tana
Yeah. We need to, like, oil, whatever that is. Like, it's funny, you know, the actual. The car. Like, we have a Beats pill in the middle.
Caller
Like.
Tana
Or you can listen to the radio.
Caller
Oh, right.
Trisha
Because I didn't even think about that. Like, not cup holders.
Tana
They didn't make cup holders.
Caller
And.
Trisha
Yeah. Well, you know what I did when I had the Lamborghini? I remember I put a cup holder in there because they didn't have it, because I feel like sports cars don't have like, cup holders. I guess you go fast in them or whatever.
Tana
Yeah. Green tea in my crack today.
Trisha
You can put them in. But I guess it probably would ruin the vibe of the car. I was like, you can't put a cup holder in.
Tana
No, honestly, I don't give a the vibe of the car I'm putting a cup holder in.
Trisha
It's like this beautiful vintage car.
Tana
No, you have a big American XL drink cup holder.
Caller
I don't care.
Trisha
Now you're in and out. Ginormous Excel.
Tana
Yes. Literally.
Trisha
I learned that from, like, Travis and Courtney because he has a bunch of old cars. So I remember on, like, Kardashians, there's always, like, breaking down on, like, the 405 freeway. His car.
Tana
And I was like, yeah, it's definitely not the car that you think far. Yeah, like, for sure. But it is.
Trisha
It's beautiful.
Tana
It is so beautiful. And it's my favorite color. I love baby.
Trisha
Yeah. And you were dressed in baby. It just looks like such a. Such a cute. Jimmy rent me for B roll or something. I don't know if we do B roll here for death stretch, but maybe. Maybe he does. But it was so cute.
Tana
I can see you and Moses having a cute convertible. Like, you need a pink convertible.
Trisha
He love. I did have a pink convertible. I had a pink Bentley, but I got smashed in our gate here, like, right when I moved in. I, like, tried to, like, go through our gate because one was stuck and I went through it and I crushed it.
Tana
You are so mean.
Trisha
Moses had.
Tana
He.
Trisha
He loves convertibles. He had a red Porsche. I met him convertible. And then he had a red Ferrari convertible. But then we had kids and we're. We're like, let's get. What do we have? A Lincoln.
Tana
Yeah. Yeah, that's fair.
Trisha
But I would love. I think if we're like, you know, if we win the lottery or something, I'd get him a convertible for sure.
Tana
Yeah. Well, they. They're. I mean, you can get whatever. I was going to go into the pricing of convertibles. Let's take another call.
Caller
Hi, Trish and Tana. I love you both so much. I just had a question about burnout. So I'm a hairstylist, and at my salon, we are required to post four times a week. And sometimes I'm just really burnt out and don't want to make a post. And I just was wondering, what do you guys do to deal with burnout? What kind of helps you avoid burnout and what.
Trisha
Yeah, that's basically it.
Caller
What kind of things can I do to avoid it. How do you post even when you feel burnt out? But I love you both so much and. Yeah, that's all. Bye, guys.
Tana
Our queen.
Trisha
That's a crazy expectation when you're a hairstylist to be like, you have to force.
Tana
Yes. So interesting now how so many jobs are transitioning into that, you know, social media posting.
Trisha
It's like, I'm not a marketer, I'm not a promoter of the salon. I'm a hairstylist.
Tana
Let me get the shears out. Like, that is. That is wild. I hope you are getting paid, paid accordingly for that. Especially because I've had friends in different jobs. Like, I can think of a million instances where I would have friends where like, they were required to post for their job for like, whatever it is. And it's like, what even like Dr. Miami, his. The girl. I forget her name.
Trisha
I don't know. She's like a social media.
Tana
She became super famous for posting for him on social media. And then she ended up making a whole story time about how like, I was doing essentially millions of views, millions of dollars in like, you know what I mean, promotion for this guy. But I wasn't getting paid for any of it. Like, it is interesting. Like, I feel like in the next coming years we'll start to see like, almost labor laws around that because like, yeah, like, let's say she has to post for this salon and then she ends up posting something that gets 4 million views and then the salon is now booked out for the next year. Where's her 20 of that?
Trisha
Oh, my God. That's a good. You know what I mean? Especially Dr. Miami, because I would see his go viral and stuff like that. And again, who's the person behind it that that's doing?
Tana
Yes, yes. And she ended up coming out and being like, it was me. I got paid nothing.
Trisha
That is crazy, because is she like a receptionist or something for him and she just posed for me?
Tana
Yes. And like, I just. Things need to be contractual, I think, because it's like, it's not necessarily a bad thing. And a lot of companies, to be fair, also do go through social media management agencies. I have a lot of friends in Vegas who run like social media management for real estate. Social media management for certain things in a lot of companies.
Trisha
The legit way to do it.
Tana
Yes.
Trisha
I was saying more. It's like if you're a hairstylist at a salon.
Tana
That's right. Yeah.
Trisha
It's like place. Well, like. No, like you hire someone to do marketing for this.
Tana
I'm doing this balayage. Yeah, I'll be balayaging. You can get someone else to open.
Trisha
Someone should. They should have someone filming content for everyone in their salon and posting it. Like, they should hire somebody. And yes, if you're an individual that you're hired for that. Which clearly shouldn't sound like she was. It sounds like she was. Or maybe she was, I don't know. Or you're saying percentage, like, get a percentage of.
Tana
If it's for the salon. I think a lot of hair salons are also freelance. Like, I know a lot of girls here in LA who work at a salon and they rent their chair and their station and then they pay that money to the salon every month, but then all the money that comes from their clients goes to them. So if you're marketing yourself, that's a whole different story. If it's like to your own socials
Trisha
and you're saying you're gain too, you're getting that money. Yeah, yeah.
Tana
Then that's okay. But I mean, to answer your question, first of all, I feel you, girl. I am burnt.
Trisha
You get burnt out.
Tana
I'm burnt out today for sure. I'm like, like, I think I'll hit a threshold, but I have tomorrow off. I think I know my limit. I think I know I can go for like 13 days usually or so.
Trisha
That's crazy.
Tana
Until I really start to hurt. And I think that maybe 12, maybe 14, maybe anytime I push it longer than that, I'll start crying a lot.
Trisha
I mean, like, labor laws in the US is like five days for full time. And then anytime after that is like.
Tana
I mean, but we're so lucky to have this job.
Trisha
Yeah, but you're still a human that needs a rest. Yeah, like, you know what I mean? Like, like, I agree. I love working 24 7, but I also get rest on Thursdays and Fridays. I have the whole day. You know what I mean?
Tana
Like, it's tomorrow. I'm going to be in bed all day.
Trisha
Okay, so you just told me you're like, I'm going to be on the treadmill tomorrow learning the dances.
Tana
I have to do that too.
Trisha
No, but you should be, because I, like, that's what I was going to tell you earlier.
Tana
I'm going to sleep in tomorrow is what I'm trying to say.
Trisha
Like a day. I'm definitely having, like a day, for sure.
Tana
Because I think I feel my best when I sleep in and wake up naturally at my REM cycles and my REM spindles. Even my like aura ring would always tell me that this. I get the majority of my REM in the morning. My body doesn't go into REM sleep until the morning. So a lot of times when I'm waking up at like an alarm and stuff, I'm in the middle of the sleep that I really, really need. So I feel my best when I wake up naturally and my body takes me out of that and stuff. So tomorrow I get to do that. But to be honest with you, girl, she's asking kind of how do you do it through burnout? And I think that two things use your non burnt out time to your advantage. Let's say Monday, you just had a great weekend and you know you have to get up three posts that week, try to start stacking. You know what I mean? Like try to like spend Monday night editing together two of the three posts or three of the three posts if you can so that then on Friday when you're like, oh my God, I'm so tired, it's already done and all you have to do is just get that. Even like last night I had more energy than today. So I like edited my photo dump together so that I could just throw it up in the car. Because if I had the, if I was in the car and had to do all that, like I wouldn't have done it in the time we got here. I would have been more like stressed. I'm doing other things. I think it's always about helping your future self out in any way you can. With content specifically too. It's like try to batch shoot things again. Pick the day where you're going to have more energy and be like, I'm going to do this trend and I'm going to take these photos and I'm going to do this thing and then it's already batch shot and you can batch post it. Like that's what the real, real deal influencers do. I feel like they batch content oh
Trisha
my gosh, like way in advance. I mean a of lot of even influencers who job, whose job is to post to be influencers even they like will hire people to help them influence and make content. And it's like, but you're the content creator. But that's just how hard it is. And that's like not, not even change anyone. Like it is it hard is a crazy term, but it is, it can cause burnout quickly because it can be very overwhelming and it's overstimulating. Making content 247 and posting Alex just 5 to 7 times it's like when you post so much, much the way I do, it is definitely not like it's like I'm eating and I'm posting, but like, but how content creators make their content. I mean, it's over stimulating. It's a lot.
Tana
Yeah. And it's just about using those moments where you also taking inspiration from others. Like, I'm not sitting here saying directly copy people without credit by any means, but like, even if I like, know I need to do some content for something, like I might open Pinterest and like scroll and find a few images. Like you could be looking at like hair inspo photos and then like, like be like, oh, I really like how in that one they like we're holding the hair like a heart and it looked like old Tumblr or whatever. And like, I'm gonna do something like that this week. Like looking at other trends to like gather inspo and then batching them on like the day, you know, where it happens.
Trisha
But I think everyone who's creating content is get inspired by someone somewhere. Like, it's so crazy when people think they have like an original thought because I'd be like, this was my original tick tock. And I was like, but it wasn't like you got that from somewhere too. Like I always see and it's always random. It's like not even like it is like. Yeah.
Tana
I mean, I've never done anything original ever, so I can never put the gavel down.
Trisha
I got everybody and everything.
Tana
I like love taking inspiration from just people's content. But then again, also, I guess I do do original things. But to me, I'm not thinking like my tooth falling out with me screaming or like the toothbrush or whatever. That's pretty original.
Trisha
Yeah, that's original to you.
Tana
The more I'm actually thinking about it, I guess I'm doing a lot of original, but it's just like, because I'm weird as all hell.
Trisha
Like I was like, no one's copying the tooth falling out. No, let me try to recreate that moment.
Tana
So I don't even know what I'm saying here, really. So there's that. Hey, so I have an advice show, but I have no idea what I'm saying.
Trisha
You had really good advice actually. And it's, it's real because like, yeah, people do. Like my advice, like, doesn't help in this situation because I would just be like, you know, post the content that only makes you happy that you're passionate. Yeah.
Tana
She's like, I don't Want to post this?
Trisha
Yeah, like, don't have a choice. Which is actually insane. I don't know. It is interesting one day. Like, what.
Tana
It is so interesting. Jobs making people do that. But also remember, too, set your boundaries. Take time for yourself. Don't beat yourself up. I think that even now in my life, I know the things I need when I'm really burnt out. And that is, like, to be in my bed for a certain amount of time or to, like. Yeah, I like to, like, set a boundary and tell people, like, you know what? I can't answer this right now. Like, I'm gonna let you know in a couple hours. Or, like, Sunday, I'm. I'm not going to be able to do anything.
Trisha
That's great, and you should do that.
Tana
I don't do it often, but I know my. We all know our bodies so well. And I think I didn't learn this until I was touring a lot because for so long I was so young, and I just would go and go and go until the wheels absolutely fell off. And then alcohol really helped with that too. With me, where I could be like, I'm not burnt out. Give me five shots. I feel amazing. Right, Right. And so I got sober and I got older. My adrenal glands and my nervous system and my cortisol levels, I. I started to be like, holy. Like, I'm shot right now. You know what I mean? I'm burnt the out. And I had to really recognize that and figure out what helped me feel less burnt out, which was writing and relaxing and reading books. And, like, I'll go get a massage sometimes. Like, find a good massage place. And I know that a massage can be expensive. That's not advice everyone can take, but I'm just saying, take the hot bubble bath. Like, those things are just as important as the work. And sometimes if you're really busy, you do have to really schedule that or do it at a weird hour or set a weird boundary. But it's just. Chelsea Handler always says that too. She's like, my time off makes me the person I am in my time on. Like, I have to go recluse. And maybe I don't create anything or do anything profound for my business or myself in this time, but it's just as important a thousand percent.
Trisha
I think that with anything in life, I usually reserve weekends to, like, not do anything. And today, like, was different because we do have, like, the Vegas show and we just have, like, a lot to get done before then. But usually I'm like, no work on weekends. And even, like, like, you can apply that to, like, parenthood too. Like, you know, I do Pilates twice a week. Like, I like having just, like, the moment for yourself. Yes. Because that's the way. Or I do schedule, like, a bed running day. Like you said, a scheduling it. I schedule one Bedrock day a month where I'm, like, literally in bed all day. And, like, luckily, I have Moses to, like, help with the kids. And not everyone can get to do that either. But it does help so much. And you show up better. I show up so much better as a mom because I'm so, like.
Tana
Like, even tomorrow, you show up so much better.
Trisha
So much better. Like, tomorrow's like, the day off, but, like, Malpa's wearing to go to this pink playground we always go to. And I was like, oh, like, to me, that is a day off. Because it's like, I got to, like, do all my work and everything that. And that is, like, my day off. So there's certain things. And I had my bed riding day last week, so actually I was in London. And honestly, when you travel and you have kids and your kids don't travel with you, it's really sad. You really miss them. But I did bedrock for, like, 13 hours straight. When I got to London, I was, like, on my phone because of, like, the jet lag. And, you know, I do appreciate that. I don't think, like, you should feel guilty about it, because sometimes it's just like, I feel guilty. Moses doesn't get that. I'm always like, do you want to go to a hotel for night? Because it can be. It just makes you feel better. Then when I get back, I was, like, doing so much stuff with them because you just, like, feel like, okay, I'm refreshed. Let's do stuff.
Tana
Anyways, it is true. No, it's really true. You know what else I thought about that I do kind of that I want to, like, add to this is reward systems work really well in my brain. During burnout. Like, this whole week, I'm like, I'm like a dog and I'm rewarding myself with little treats or like, there's a carrot in front of me. Even last night, Kyle gets to my house. We have to start working. It's like midnight, and I literally go, before we start, start, I'm gonna sit here and I'm gonna have a strawberries and cream Dr. Pepper over ice, and I'm gonna deep breathe over it. And then I'm going to start. And then when I'm done, Just deep breathe. I'm just gonna deep breathe and drink my Dr. Pepper and then I'll start. Sometimes my piano is a big one. I'll get home and I'll like play the piano for a second and then I'll like go back to like editing like just so even if it's just like something as simple as like I'm gonna like go walk outside for 10 minutes before I get all these posts together. This thing I have to do like sometimes the or afterwards or I'm going to do these and then I'm going to like go put a hair mask in or I'm going to go walk outside for 20 minutes and like feel the sun on my skin. Or like just, you know, I'm going to put on my favorite pajamas while I do this. It can be so dumb but the human brain can be so tricked into like no, this is real. Yeah, especially when you're burnt out. To be real. I had to start learning to like trick my mother self into like you're not burnt out. Like you just put on your favorite pajamas.
Trisha
Sometimes you have to. Yeah, I know. Not everyone can just you're so real and that's. And like looking forward to something. Like you said, I always look forward. I don't want to say to the end of the day because I enjoy my days but if there is a stressful day, I'm always like, oh, I know I'm going to have like a home cooked meal. I know like my kids and I are going to play in the playroom to like 8pm I know at 8pm we all go in the same bed and just like relax together and it's like those I look forward to so much. So yeah, it's like having a blanket you love.
Tana
I swear to God some days I'll be like, I can't wait to go home and have my Lola blanket. Like me and my blanket, me, my blankie are going to get through this week.
Caller
Yeah.
Tana
It's so real.
Trisha

Thank you so much to Cozy Earth for sponsoring today's episode of Not Loveline. Yeah, go get some sheep.
Trisha
That's real for so many people. So many people are like that's what they look forward to. And like that. That's it. Like whatever relaxes you. Whatever like calms you down.
Tana
And just get it where you can. Get the relaxing moments where you can and use your energy bursts or your one day where you're A little more rested than the others. As much to your advantage. I think. I used to never help out my future self. You know what I mean? And I've learned, I've learned so much about myself in the regard that I'm a nighttime person through and through. I get the, the most insane like burst of energy at night. I think it comes from Vegas. Like I don't know what it is. But I used to just be like, I don't know why I have energy at night. And then I'd be tired the next day, every day and that like. So I started using it to my advantage. If I'm going to go on a trip in a couple days, but I have a free hour at night, I'm going to pack the suitcase. Like I blow. I'll blow dry and fully style my hair at night so that like I'm ready for tomorrow. Like I, I'll use my, like nighttime. Like use your own pockets of energy whenever they are for future you who won't have that energy, you know, so real.
Trisha
That's a really good advice. Yeah. Prepare for your future.
Tana
I'm a burnt out body.
Trisha
So everything you have the experience, which is great. That is great advice because.
Tana
And obviously never take it too far at the end of the day. Nothing is as important as your mental health. And I've definitely experienced level 20 burnout where it's like level 1000 burnout can. It's. It can lean like. I don't want to say suicidal, but like goddamn. So depressed. Like definitely pushed myself to that point where the burnout made me me so just depressed and insane and dopamine drained and like just crying and like all the things. And like you can't even like get out of bed. Like it's the worst thing ever. Like, and I look back at those times and it's like maybe listen to your body. You know, whatever it was that I was killing myself for could have probably been paused for two days. Yeah. You know, like just whatever it was. So I'm not saying just always live through it. Definitely know your limit mitts. But yeah.
Trisha
Yeah. It's like okay, what you post to one week.
Tana
Like what's.
Trisha
They're gonna fire you. It's like, what?
Tana
Yeah, girl, I know you do a damn good blowout. I can tell by your voice. Okay. You keep blowing out. Girl, I love you.
Trisha
I love a blowout.
Tana
Like it's a skill. What is it? Sealing the cuticle?
Trisha
Is that what they say? Do you have to do you give yourself a blowout?
Tana
You said I do but it's so mid and my girls are so impressive. Like and their arms. I always say this about like Kim. She will really be standing. It's a standing job. You're standing for 12 hours a day. Arms, arms, arms all day.
Trisha
That's why so many hair stylists don't do blowouts. Like there's dedicated people for that. Like I. Until you go to like a fancier like or not even fancy. But a lot of salons will just like one person colors you, one person washes you want. It's like it's like a car wash. Because it's just like a lot of people are like I can't do a blowout. Like so many people I know that are like stylists, colorists. Like I hate doing blowouts because it is so rigorous. Anyone who do it slay, they're so good at it.
Tana
And like you have someone's confidence in your hands. You have so it's so. It's a high pressure job in the regard that like if you up people will be mad. It's very easy to up. Like I just. My hair girls impress me so much. And all my hair girls are like the strongest mothers. Like working 14 hours to like make the money for their daughters. All their daughters are in dance and that so expensive. And like I'm just my hair girls and they, they can be anywhere. They can make anything happen. Like a who does good hair. Like, like you're that they're so good.
Trisha
No and like I said because it happens, you know when girl get blowout on tick tock and they're just like showing their hair and they're just like this and it doesn't.
Tana
You make feel so empowered and you're absorbing people's like tea and problems and life stories all day. Like the way I would become a. That's crazy robot. That's all I would say all day is. That's crazy. Shout out to all the women who do hair out there in the world. I think men look at that. Oh, she just does hair. You could never.
Trisha
That's so hard. And you should be charging everything you're charging and more because people are like complain about a price or anything. It's like it's so hard. The talent, the dedication.
Tana
Content farming world like Jesus Christ.
Trisha
That's crazy. Yeah. I wonder what salon's making you do that. That's insane. They need to hire a content creator. Like you're not that unless you're in
Tana
your bag for it girl. Then we love it. Yeah. Honestly. Maybe I'll start taking hour long breaks too. Just to like.
Trisha
Hour long breaks? What does that mean?
Tana
Like not vape for an hour. So that when I do it during the show.
Trisha
Oh, I see like kind of training.
Tana
I was such a to McCalla the last time I tried to quit that I was like, my relationship depends on
Trisha
me continuing to be hard. That's why I am with food. Food is definitely. It's like, yeah. Starting like the GLP one. It's like a miracle how it changed like my whole mental health because I dieting. I would do like grapefruit and eggs every night. And I was so. I'd be so pissed at most miserable. Cooking great food and smelling so good and he could eat it in the kids. And it's just like I was so. I was. I just had to go to bed because I was so mean and I was so miserable. And then. Yeah, like having like the GLP one, like it really, it is like I can eat any food I want. I just like, it just makes you feel fuller, faster. I feel so happy.
Tana
It also changes your brain chemistry so much.
Trisha
I like cried. Like I'm. This is a miracle. Like it's a miracle. Like I'm like losing weight every week and I'm eating everything I want. And like if I crave something, I can have it. It's like so great. And so yeah, I was saying that
Tana
it's the best because food noise really. And like just for me, like overeating and different things, even right now I'm not on it because I want to. And just, it can make me a little tired sometimes. So like I just want the energy. I want all the energy for what life is right now. But I, I'd be blatantly lying if I said I cannot wait to be done with the Vegas show. And like I love I because of my brain.
Trisha
Yeah.
Tana
Like I just. Even the other night I ordered Wing Stop. I ate the wing Stop. I got in bed and I was still hungry. Like I. It wasn't like I wasn't still hungry, but also like I ate Wingstop. I ate a full meal. Like go to bed and eating at night is really bad for you because the. Your brain instead of storing your memories. Cuz that's what your brain does at night. Instead of storing your memories, it has to use that energy to process the food that you're eating. So you're literally losing memories. And it's one thing if you're hungry and you didn't eat all day. It's another thing if you just ate six Wing Stop tenders. I ordered Taco Bell. I ordered Taco Bell. And then I was like, oh, my God, all I've eaten today is Chick Fil, a Wing Stop and Taco Bell. Like, you, you garbage disposal. And you just start to notice all the little, like, differences. And it's just like. But I literally could not control myself. I. I felt so hungry, and I wasn't like, I just ate, like. But I felt so hungry. And I was like, oh, my God. This is why I love the smallest dose of, like, a GLP one.
Trisha
Same.
Tana
Because I just.
Trisha
And I do a small dose, too, because I'm like, well, I'd want to work myself up. And I do a very small dose, too, because it's just working the right amount where. Because people would be like, you're not even hugging hungry. Food doesn't even taste good. And, like, that's not true. Like, I'm hungry, but I just feel fuller, faster. I can have literally one slice of pizza. When I used to eat, like, literally a whole Domino's medium by myself and feel like I had a whole Domino's meat. Like, it feels like that. I'm like, wow, I'm so. I'm actually so full and, like, it's like, a hard thing for anyone to grasp. Like Moses, too, when he made Bolognese. I could have, like, four bites of it. And I'm eating throughout the day, so it's not like I'm, like, starving myself. I'm just eating, like, less, more and protein maxing. Yeah. He's like, are you sure? And I was like, yeah. I swear, it feels like I ate the. That entire bowl. Like, it is such a crazy thing. And, yeah, I have more energy. I have more things. I'm not consumed with. What's my next meal going to be? I'm not eating processed food. Like, it just feels. And it feels like a miracle consumed
Tana
with what the next meal is going to be. That's such a good way of putting it. Like, and just like, you'll be. It's almost like on a GLP1, I'll be like, I'm hungry. I need to eat something to nourish my body. Whereas when I'm not on it, I'm like, I'm hungry. The sky is falling. It's giving cloudy with a chance of meatballs. Need the meatballs begging. Like, I'm just so. It's. It's all consuming.
Trisha
I had a story and I always tell her, I'm not gonna tell you. Well, I mean, whatever. You guys know the story, the stick story, where I literally snapped at Moses because, like, it was not ready at, like, sunset when I wanted to eat. And I just was like, throw it in the trash. And he literally was like, knock. He didn't want to eat it. Like, he felt bad about it. And I was just like, so such a. And it was just like. And that was the time. And my kids were like, downstairs and I was just like. And I just was so angry and I just locked myself in a bathroom for like a couple hours. Like, there's a problem. There's a problem. And like, I don't know how to control it. And like, thank God for JP1, because I, I and I relate so there. I think people can't relate until they know the food addiction, how real it is.
Tana
Yes.
Trisha
Like, it is so easy to be like, just eat less, don't eat. But it's just like there's so many mental things that go on with all that.
Tana
And it's.
Trisha
Yeah, it's like it's changed.
Tana
And when you're just used to eating so much more, your body becomes accustomed to that. Like, even like, had I eaten that Wingstop and then I felt hungry afterwards. It was like one of those things where it's like my, my stomach is literally stretched. My body is accustomed to, like, wanting, wanting more, not being satiated.
Trisha
Right.
Tana
Whereas with this medicine, I am satiated with the appropriate amount of food for myself. And honestly, I love Makoa down, but that man is just a problem in the regard that, like, he can eat anything and is always eating. And then his body just, like his dad is 70 and has a 10 pack. Like, that is just their genetics through and through. Like, he can house anything and look like that. And then it's like, babe, do you want. He eats a pint of Haagen Dazs every single time.
Caller
Night.
Tana
How much money is that? That's $8 a day for 30 days a month. It's, it's. He's obsessed. And it's like, do you want some? Do you want some? Like, I'm hungry. What should we get? What can I make? Like, what can I. And it's like, stop.
Trisha
That is frustrating. I think that's what it is, is when you see other people and that's like, again, Moses cooking and seeing him get to eat. And I'm just like, yeah, just nothing. Nothing was working. But I've done about a pound a week and literally eating whatever I want whenever I want and just, just do
Tana
it the way that, that we're kind of talking about. Because I do see a lot of girls in Hollywood who are just like, stick thin and like, they don't have any problem and they're using it to further an eating disorder.
Trisha
Yeah. Keep eating less of. Already eating less. Yes.
Tana
And people who are like, I shot up the biggest dose. I haven't eaten in two days. I hear that all the time, by the way. I hear that all the time everywhere I go in la because the, the. And because a lot of influencers don't talk about it online. So I almost feel like in real life they're like, really talking about it because that's like, the only time they get to talk about it.
Caller
Yeah.
Tana
So every time I see influencers, they're like, telling me all about their GLP1 journeys. And I'm like, this is so, so mentally unhealthy. Like, I'm not sitting here saying, shoot up and don't eat and lose a bunch of weight and like, you know what I mean? Like, be unhealthy. It's just nice if you are a big eater or, you know what I mean?
Trisha
Like, binge eater, problem with food, literally. It's very much what made me think when you talk about the vape is like, I wish I could. I wish I could quit this. And I just can't. And yeah, when you have a real food addiction, it's that. But there's a lot of people who don't have a food addiction. Like you said, they just want to feel full when they already don't eat it. So it's like, it's a. It is. And that's why I waited to talk about it too. Because I was gonna make like a whole video about my experience, but I waited to talk about it. Cause I just want to really make sure. And it's like, no, it actually changed my life. Like, it actually. And I wish I would have had this so much sooner. And I wish, like, so many people I knew in my life that could have had it sooner. And it's.
Tana
It's.
Trisha
Rosie o' Donnell came to my show in the UK and we talked about it. She's very open about it on her too. And she's like, yeah, like, she was. I don't want to be skinny. She's. I just want. And we had so many of the same things where it's just like, we just want to feel good in our bodies and we just don't want to think about food all the time or have food be such a control over us and, and you get it too. And it's. Yeah, it's definitely like, yeah, it's something you really got to like think about, talk about and see how your body's feeling. That's why I was like, let me see how my body's feeling. But like, honestly, it's like the greatest thing. I'm happier, I have more energy, I'm. It's like the best thing in the whole world. And I'm like, God, I wish I had of a ton sooner and thank God for it. But they should have medicine for addicts, you know, Like I do, I guess. Like not your kind of addict, but like, you know, drug addict. There's like methadone. Yeah. There's stuff you can get off of it.
Tana
They're getting better at once for alcohol as well. Like I found out. I think the prox. Something it's not as like widely talked about. I think it'll get better over time, but it is just, it is hard. And like with food too, like alcohol for me, I always was like, you can just stop. Not you could just stop drinking. Listen, I couldn't for years. I couldn't for years. We saw it. I'm more so just saying, saying like, you can cut out alcohol entirely, whereas you cannot cut out food entirely. You have no choice but to form a relationship with it. And I think that some people are also. So I, like, I don't feel like I ever talk about this but like some people are able to convince themselves or they truly believe and love healthy, bland foods. And they eat that salad with that low calorie dressing and the green beans with no salt on them and they are satiated. And some people prefer that over a double smash burger. And I'll never understand that. And like for me that is the hardest thing for me is it's like I can go a couple days where I'm like, this morning I'm going to have my yogurt bowl and it's so good. But by day five, I'm like, I want the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on the brioche bun. Like I, I can't, like, I can't lie to myself in the regard that this iceberg lettuce and kale is just as good as this jalapeno popped popper. Right. Sorry.
Trisha
Yes, it's not. And with y' all people, when you don't need to. I noticed sometimes too where it's like, because sometimes, you know, it's like, I hate to be like, you forget to eat, but it's like you'll like, breakfast will roll around. You're like, okay, I should be eating something. Like, especially after day one or day two of a shot, you're like, just really not hungry. But I can go to, like, Four Seasons where I used to get. Yeah, I would get, like, egg bacon sandwich and be like, oh, I'll just take granola and yogurt because I'm not even hungry. But I know I need to eat something.
Tana
It makes you make such better decisions. And like, yeah, I focus. When I'm on a GLP1, I feel like my main focus is protein too.
Trisha
Like a thousand.
Tana
Because you want to nourish your body, nourish your muscles, because if you don't eat the right things on a GLP1, you will start losing muscle alongside fat. So that was, like, a big thing for me where there were eras of my life where I was just kind of shooting it up and eating whatever and eating fast food and stuff still. But it's so nice when you're on it if you really focus on protein and be like, wow, everything I ate today was so good for me and. And I feel good.
Trisha
I felt that way today. Usually when I go to Benning Han, I get the veggie fried rice and I usually get a steamed side rice. But last time we've gone because we've been going so much. Every time we go to Ben, I get so full off the white rice, but I love the protein so much. I love the chicken steak. Like, that's the bougie part of the meal. So I was like, I just don't even order the steamed rice anymore. And I, like, don't miss it. Like, I love eating it so much. And it does. And that is the GLP one talking, because I'd always have to have a little rice with it. Same thing with protein pasta. I eat the protein out of the pastas first, and then I get full. So there's a whole thing again. I. I always just say, obviously you have to, like, talk to your. Your doctor and really see if it's right for you. And if you're dealing with any of the stuff, maybe it's right for you. It took me three years to get on a GLP one because I was like, I don't know.
Caller
I don't know.
Trisha
It's whatever. But mine is. It's. It was. It was the. The best thing. And it's not to be skinny. It's literally just to be a little healthier, have more energy, and not snap and bite people's head off when I
Tana
literally even just like, yeah, like, I love a rotisserie chicken. And like, I don't normally. Like, I can eat a rotisserie chicken, dip it in some buffalo sauce, and be like that. Yeah, it's. I mean, I always say it's everyone. Everyone's personal journey, but I would be lying if I said I didn't love.
Trisha
Love it.
Tana
Love.
Trisha
Well, make sure, Jimmy, make sure we have a row hat on this episode, because we're like, we actually. We love it. And I do. I actually do use row. The other day I was, like, looking at my thing and. And I actually do use row all the time. I was gonna ask you Rotisserie chicken. That's so funny. We're just talking about Angela. Trish. I think I asked Oscar how he eats his rotisserie chicken. Cause I love rotisserie chicken, but we ate it so differently. How do you eat your rotisserie chicken?
Tana
Oh, my God. I just know you're gonna say you eat it with a fork. I'm like, or maybe not. I. I'm finger forward.
Trisha
Me too.
Tana
I rip it off.
Trisha
Like, I rip the breast off. And he's like, no. I slice each thing like a Thanksgiving turkey. He's like. Cuz Darian's eating off of it. I'm like. I'm like, what do you mean? You don't just, like, rip it off? No.
Tana
Oh, my God. And I look like, I look a little scary eating a rotisserie chicken, especially with my posture, which I'm trying to work on. Like, it's just. It's giving this and it's giving rotis
Trisha
down, and I'm like, order some rotisserie chicken.
Tana
Someday Chicken Cafe has the best rotisserie chicken in Los Angeles.
Trisha
I like those ones in the plastic. Oh, okay. That's the best.
Tana
Okay, well, no, I mean, those are good too.
Trisha
Like the Costco ones.
Tana
Yes, they are. Those are bigger and also just more financially conscious. You're actually getting a lot more chicken. I just love their chicken. It's so juicy.
Trisha
Okay, well, we can always get it.
Tana
And their buffalo sauce. I want that right now.
Caller
Okay.
Trisha
Do you want to order? We can order what time? We're at our Green flag. Wow. Okay.
Tana
I love the green flag.
Trisha
Okay. All right. There we go. While we were. Anyways, it was good to talk about because I feel like we haven't really. I haven't really talked about it with anyone. And it feels good to talk about in just. I want to talk about it, especially because my entire life has been being just food issues. And weight issues and stuff like that.
Tana
And honestly, it's. It's nice to talk about people who get it for the right reasons. Because, like I said, a lot of times I will talk to people about it and they're like, I haven't eaten in four days and now I'm 105 pounds and this is everything. And you can see my rib cage and my bones. And it's so scary seeing how dysmorphic people can be that way in la. So it's always nice to talk about it with someone where it's like, no, I want to quiet the noise and
Trisha
be healthier and moderate. And yet you should be eating. You should definitely be eating. Otherwise would have a feeling your dose is too high. Even, like the getting sick off it. Like, I've never gotten sick off of it. Like, I know everyone's body's different.
Tana
I've never thrown up from it.
Trisha
Yeah, everyone's like, I'm so nauseous the first day after. And I was, like, really scared of all of that. I can't afford to be nauseous. And. Yeah, but again, everybody's different and it doesn't mean it's not working.
Tana
But anyways, you're so right, though. Food is so important. And it's nice to inject the amount, I guess, to where you still get the dopamine of food and the memories and even today at Benihana of, like, so good. But, like, we're. You know what I mean? Just more moderation and I can't wait to be back on it.
Trisha
Oh, my gosh. Well, yes. Do what's. Do what's right for you. We love you guys. Thanks for calling in and we'll see you in the next one. Bye. Trish trio, patreon.com not love that part.
