Winter is so last season and now spring's got you looking at pictures of tank tops with hungry eyes. Your algorithm is feeding you cutoffs. You're thirsty for the sun on your shoulders that perfect hang on the patio Sundress those sandals you can wear all day and all night. And you've had enough of shopping from your couch.
A
Done.
B
Hoping it looks anything like the picture when you tear open that envelope. It's time for a little in person spring treat. It's time for a trip to Ross. Work your magic.
A
When I was untreated, I would have thought that for a time like, are we in love? And then I would have like thought into this whole thing.
B
Me too. Oh, my God. I used to like my friends. You know, they came in for a job that I hired them for. Job description. I was paying them for the job description. And then I found out later on their social media that they were trying on and wearing my clothes.
A
Yay. Oh, yeah, your red, your red glasses. Aren't they always leave a pair of glasses? There's red glass. I do.
B
There's a trace of me always at the Paytas Hackman household and it's a pair of glasses. There is.
A
There is always a little piece of you and I love it. Guys, welcome back to not Loveline.
B
Okay, everyone buckle up because today is the Trisha Paytas birthday extravaganza and we are so.
A
Oh my God, it does feel cozy vibes you came in with like, literally there's a show at all. There's a little gift here, big gifts here, crumble here. I'm. Yeah, I'm not doing anything for my birthday this year, which we'll get into. But I want to get into all this first. But before actually we do that, we should probably promote our show and make this which I need to text you too. I'm like, we should promote this.
B
Yes.
A
June twelve at the Cosmo. It's going to be big.
B
I am so excited because just to let you into our. The back end of our business over here. June, June 1st through 12th, we have dedicated to Tana Tricia Vegas Palooza. And we are doing so many things. Like I just feel like I'VE never been a choreo or rehearsal girl. Like, that's when you're in the bathroom.
A
I was just asking. I was asking Megan to have it. I'm like, does tana dance? I was like, oh, wait, we're gonna be dancing. Cause I just did a dancing video with Oscar for Patreon, and I was just like, wait, does tana dance? And then I was like, oh, we're gonna dance.
B
I am. You know, I think it's so funny because the people will be almost in the crowd knowing that, like, certain things that I'm doing I would only do with and for you. And I think that's so iconic.
A
Like, dancing. Like, have you. But do you. Do you've done choreo?
B
Honestly, Trisha, have you never. Like, anytime you've ever seen me dancing, I was just flailing. The only dance you did.
A
Improv.
B
I took dance in eighth grade.
A
Okay.
B
And then I learned the whop. What's the whop? Remember, like, the whop dance? Like what?
A
Butter and a pop? That's a whop. That's like, when you would kick and like.
B
Oh, you learned it. I learned that I was stretching for our Vegas show. I would do it with you. No, I wouldn't do the whop on
A
stage, but, like, maybe not to the wop. It could be to, like, something cutesy, like, our show.
B
And I'm down to, like, do it with you one time because I think it's so funny. Like, how campily bad I'm probably going to be.
A
I feel like you're gonna eat. Would you do, like, a Dancing with the Stars?
B
Oh, my. It's funny. Someone else just asked me that recently, and, like, yes. I would dedicate my life.
A
I love that.
B
To being on two episodes before I was voted.
A
But the fact that you even say yes to that is a big thing. So that means, like, you want to. You, like, you have it in you.
B
I think it's too iconic not to. And I almost. I was. It's funny. As I was thinking about it the other day, talking about it, I was like, how cute would it be? Like, it's almost like you do things like that for, like, the traditional media things for almost, like, the older people in your life. Like, I was thinking about Mokoa's grandma. Like, she loves Dancing with the Stars.
A
My parents, too.
B
Yeah. That there are just certain things that, you know, if they come the traditional media.
A
But it's. It's kind of like making its renaissance now back on TikTok. Like, I feel like Amari he's a dancer, so he would, like, be obsessed with you doing it, and, like, it'd be so cute. I don't know. I love that you do. So you're, like, having you have an interest in dancing, so I feel like the choreo we do for Vegas will be, like, fun.
B
I think it's gonna be really, really fun. And I think that there's something so special about this show. Just, it is very much giving, like, variety and, like, one night only and doing things that, like, will maybe never happen again or maybe happen again all the time if we get a residency.
A
But, like, we're gonna get one, and we're. Are we gonna go full showgirl?
B
I think we. Well, we both love the last showgirl. We both love old Vegas. We both love, like, all of that.
A
So headdress and stuff.
B
Yes. I'm down to just lean into. I love it even. Just the sequins, like, all the veg. I actually got a merch deck today, too, that I want to show you, and the merch got me so excited.
A
Okay, great. I had gotten one too, and I. I did not pass it along. Well, we'll compare notes. Yeah.
B
You know me.
A
I. I totally will relinquish merch. Up to you, because I do think you're a merch queen when it comes to that stuff. I'm very, like, hands off of it when I give you my merch. So I would love to, like, see what you think.
B
Honestly, just seeing the little graphics of, like, the two girls and, like, viva Las Vegas and, like, one night only and stuff, I was like, this is so cute. It's gonna be such a night for our not loveline girlies and just people who have loved us.
A
I'm very excited. I'm excited for a little even, like, signing posters.
B
I was thinking about just, like, because I meet so many girls all the time who are like, I love Trish. I love you and Trish, like, the crossover is very special, and it's one night only. Like, that's just.
A
It's so special for now.
B
Yeah.
A
Nothing else is planned yet, but I love it. All right, so this is the crumble. They come with the happy birthday box.
B
Yeah, I guess so.
A
I love it. You're like, yes, I love a crumble. You said last time we. The only time we've had a crumble together is the Benson Boon crumble.
B
We were Moonbeam ice creaming out, and I was like, it'd be cute to do, like, proper.
A
Wait, were these the flavor this week?
B
I don't I just said pink birthday realness and the candle. It's so cute.
A
Oh my God. Wait. That's so cute. I've never seen those little heart ones before. Oh my God. I love these so much. I'm so excited.
B
I love your birthday so much.
A
So nice. I was not expecting all this.
B
National Trisha Paytas Day. It's funny, the pink cookies to me from Crumble are either the best cookie in the world or they taste like cleaning supplies. And I don't know if it's just that the place next to my house is using cleaning supplies near them, but like I'm excited to see if.
A
But have you had, have you had one outside of your location?
B
Yeah, I guess those were better. Honestly. Yes.
A
Try a little piece. Are they cold or are they warm?
B
You need the happy birthday one.
A
Okay. Okay.
B
Okay.
A
Oh, they're kind of warm. Okay, let's see.
B
That's a good one.
A
Okay. It is soft. I like how soft it is.
B
And it's a good omen. That means that your birthday cookie was good. Like that means that your birthday this year.
A
Okay, I'm taking my omen was bad. Was it not bad?
B
Well, you can have a good omen or a bad omen.
A
I thought so too. And someone's like, no omen is bad.
B
Oh, well then honestly, maybe. No, I believe you.
A
No, I don't know. I have no idea. Is it good or bad? It's good too, right?
B
A good omen, I think. I don't know though.
A
No, it's a good. We're gonna say good because we're manifesting good.
B
I'm so sorry.
A
No, have more.
B
They're for her. I'm just like, hold on.
A
Oh, it's our thing.
B
Like oh my God, Trisha's birthday. We were realizing we've never really. Uh huh.
A
I know we're never together.
B
Why don't we do for each other's birthdays? Like this is the first time I think I've ever been with this close to your birthday. Yeah, well we should talk about birthdays
A
because like, okay, so I've always made a big deal about my birthday as, as an adult. Once I got money, once I was able to like start making money on YouTube, I'm like, I'm gonna throw a birthday party for myself every year. I've always paid for my own birthday party. I've always invited people that I don't really know cuz I don't really have a lot of friends. So I would just like invite people and luckily people do show up. I will say. My first ever birthday party I threw, I was like, maybe it was like 28 or something like that because I finally had money. It was like the place across from the Abbey. I forgot what it was called. Like playhouse or something. I rented out. It was the first time I ever performed. I performed at my own birthday party. I'm gonna perform with my dancers. It was like the first time I ever performed. It was like freaky when freaky came out. So I was like, 2017. And so that's iconic.
B
Yeah, I'm gonna, by the way, freaky live on your birthday across from the Abbey. I'm literally livid. I don't have a time machine.
A
It was. It was crazy. And it was. It was a crazy party. Wind up getting kicked out of it of our own party. It was a great tana story time. It was very much like me.
B
That always happens giving.
A
Everybody kept throwing parties after that. And every year the parties always just are awful. And I'm like, why am I keep doing this? So I kind of like, stop. But like, I remember that year specifically. We had like an open bar and then like at midnight, I think, like, we were drinking too much alcohol or something because then they, like, shut it down and like, they like, threw my cake over the balcony. Like, it was a crazy thing. Well, I don't want to give any, like, hate to them because I don't know though.
B
It's kind of camp.
A
It was, it was.
B
It was something like the cake over the balcony is like a scene out of a movie.
A
Yeah, well, we didn't see it. We just saw it smashed at the bottom. So we're like, what happened? It was. It was a crazy thing. But I spen. Yeah, I always spent all my money at that party, you know, Dolce Glow. Of course she helped me plan it. She was like my birthday party planner for free at the time.
B
So funny. L. A. Is so funny because everyone has done everything. Like, the person who now is, like, running a multimillion dollar spray tan and tanning business, like, at one point was a party planner.
A
Crazy to see because she. She was like always offering free spray tan. And she, like, really liked me. Like, I never had any friends and she was like, really like me. She plan your whole birthday party for free. But that's when we had the falling out because then everything went to. And then she, like, bolted and I bolted. And it wasn't her fault at all, but it just was like I was in such a, like, angry headspace back then. I would like, yell at everyone. And she kind of just like fled and we never talked since. But I do shout out Isabelle. I think is her name. Isabelle. Shout out Isabelle for being literally everywhere. But I can't get triggered about seeing Dolce. Her dance are amazing.
B
That is so funny that, like, you're the only person. Like, this is an original experience that you associate Dolce Glow with. Like a birthday party. That went wrong.
A
That went wrong. And I love you so much, girl. If you're out there. She's Hungarian too. Like, she was so sweet and she did it all for free. Like she was being. And she was like calling vendors and we have pictures in front of the Rolls Royce together. Like, yeah, it's not easy at a step and repeat and a party ends
B
up being like almost not for you to an extent. Like, you know what I mean? Where you're just kind of saying the same thing over and over again to people and you want other people to have a good time. And like, something always goes wrong when you're throwing a big party, at least in la.
A
I don't know well. And you're so right. You were saying shows up with like all these gifts, which I'm going to show another one here. We'll do them like piece by piece. And she's like, just so you know, like, I got these all before because we didn't know if we were filming Loveline this week because it's the premiere week of Brand Save. And so we didn't know if we're gonna do one. And we ended up getting one in two days before my birthday. And she just. So you know, it's not for content. I was like, girl parties. I always threw for content. My wedding. I'm just gonna say my wedding. I did it for content. 100. Not getting married relatable. I would have to like. I highly recommend if you're not a content creator to elope. I love when people elope because it's so much money. It was so much stress. You do not get to enjoy your wedding at all. You think you don't get to enjoy a birthday. You really don't get to. Except the Maui one was cool because we had like nine people. But big weddings, no, there's the smaller
B
that things are in general, as you get older, you realize that you value the intimacy, I guess over the attention and over the chaos. Like, even this year is the first year that I'm not doing like a big birthday trip because I'm just like, these are a hundred thousand. They're so expensive and just like, you have to worry about everyone's everything. There's always some type of drama, even if it's anecdotal, because there's so many people trying to do different things. Like, like, I don't know. Intimacy is a beautiful thing as you get older.
A
Yeah. I think it's wonderful. I stopped doing big parties. Well, like you said, I was for, like, attention. For sure. Mine was for attention anyways, because I was. I never.
B
Because I was throwing a massive party for anything other than attention or to get hammered. I guess a little bit of both for me.
A
Right? Yeah. I guess I just wanted to seem like I was. But every year on my birthday, like, just something horrific happens. You can read about my book. Like every year at my birthday, just something like. And I won't say horrific, but it was always bad. Until I met, like, Moses. And like, my last couple birthdays have been great. Why? Because we've done it low key.
B
Low key is the most.
A
It's the best. It's like Mother's Day weekend is coming up. My dad's 70th birthday's on Sunday. Mine's on Friday, his on Sunday. We had to celebrate Elvis before I go to England because her birthday is on the day of my show, her second birthday. So it was like. Yeah, he does have a lot of birthdays coming up.
B
Special though, too. Even on stage, being like happy. Making the whole crowd sing Happy Birthday to Elvis and having that video. Yeah, I'm really excited now. I remember that it was your birthday.
A
What?
B
And I was on the canceled tour and Brooke and I decided to have Glasgow sing Happy Birthday to you and we took a video.
A
Was it last year?
B
Yes. Yes, that makes sense. I was in Glasgow on your birthday,
A
so you were celebrating it. Birthday. Wow.
B
Just very fun. That was so special too, because it was one of the biggest canceled international shows. So the crowd was huge and all singing.
A
That's literally so nice. What made you think of that? You're just like, I don't know.
B
I was just like, this would be literally.
A
See, you're always celebrating my birthday. It's very sweet. Okay, here's the first. This is very nice. And I also never asked even Moses. I. I'm really like, give me nothing. Like, I literally. And it's not because I don't love gifts. I do love a gift, but I really do think I have so much stuff. I always buy the things I want. So it's like, you know, it's very much like, just don't worry about it.
B
Cute things that made me Think of you and things I thought you'd love to get. You also have one more gift coming because the shipping has been a night. I literally live it. I'll bring it to you next time.
A
But this one already I see the little logo. I'm so excited.
B
And this paper was from Dollar Tree. And as I was wrapping it last night. It's funny. Underneath.
A
You wrapped it. Yeah. No, that's so good.
B
Underneath the bows, you can fully see the logo through the paper. Cause it's so. I was like, you're lying.
A
I can't. I honestly, this is great. I cannot. I cannot wrap what I get to save my life, so. And I also love everything you have. Every time I see anything you have, I, like, run and buy it.
B
I was trying to think in that way where I was like, what would Trisha want if I'm out shopping type of thing with all of my gifts for you?
A
I'm so excited. Oh, my God.
B
These are cute. I, like, wanna. I'm. I'm livid. I wish I had them. I'm gonna have to get everything matching.
A
I'm so excited. I love a Von Dutch moment. Perfect for our not love line. Oh, my gosh.
B
How cute are they?
A
I always do have a slipper. I can't lift my foot.
B
You're literally in something so similar. I was like, yes. Oh, I. They're fabulous. The pink, too.
A
Put them on right now.
B
They're literally fabulous. I did a 39. Oh, my God. I feel like. Let me know if you need me to swap.
A
I always need a big size.
B
Trisha. Pay shoe size leaked.
A
I was gonna say. How did you know?
B
How did you even, Like, We've talked a lot about similar, but then you. We both have. Our feet have grown, so I kind of just.
A
Mine's gone up two sizes.
B
And I know mine's still honking more than you like my honkers.
A
We're probably the same size now.
B
No. Yeah. I think you're one smaller. So I.
A
To be like, literally a size six. And now I'm like, yeah, like a size nine after pregnancy. All right, let's see. And I love bigger ones. Com. Oh, my God. I'm so excited.
B
Oh, my God. Fabu. They're fabu.
A
Oh, my God.
B
How do they fit?
A
They actually fit so perfect.
B
Okay, okay. Me having a panic attack.
A
Can you see? I used to be so flexible.
B
The side is so cute. The little Von Dutch on the.
A
I do love that, like, these are house slippers, but I honestly would wear these out.
B
I wear mine out all the time with jeans, like, straight up, like, jeans. This top, I think I have them in tan. And now I'm like, I need the pink.
A
Is there a store? Do you get them online?
B
No, I got them online.
A
Ooh, I'm so excited. This like an unboxing. This feels like a what I got for my birthday haul right here. Remember this one?
B
So much fun.
A
We know. This is everything. I. I love it. Thank you so much.
B
You're so awesome.
A
Oh, my God. Wait, this is so.
B
Keep going.
A
I need more dopamine. Yes. I love it. I used to do what I got for birthday hauls, and I would always just buy myself stuff, and I'd be like, this is from this person. And this is so funny.
B
I'm so happy to be now this
A
year, you're my only one. Just like, what I got for my birthday from T, which I love, and I'm. I am super. Oh, all right.
B
These slippers, they're something.
A
I love it.
B
I did get these matching so we can match.
A
Oh, my gosh. Wow. This is so exciting. It's a little asmr. Oh, my God. After we said we're not shopping anymore.
B
Just Gucci shopping for you is like, whatever. That doesn't count.
A
Oh, my.
B
They're so cute.
A
Cute.
B
They're so cute.
A
Oh, my God.
B
No. Because I died.
A
And the kitten heel.
B
Yes.
A
The absolute best.
B
The flip flop kitten, I feel like, is so, like, it. Girl baddie. And I was like, I don't know if she. If I've seen her in some.
A
No, but it's giving you. And I love it because you wore. You wore something similar last time.
B
I love a flip flop kitten heel because it's like the feeling of a heel with the comfort and these being, like, silicone. I was like, how fun that they're so comfy.
A
I just got a new pedicure too.
B
Let me try with a little jean.
A
Oh, my gosh. So, so cute.
B
I brought my matching ones today so that we can match. Wow. I'm with those jeans. Oh, my God. Honestly. Flexible. No, it's giving Libby. Done.
A
I literally threw up my back Monday, for real. I was reaching for El Malibu on my high chair, my makeup chair. I reached, and I went to lift up, and I literally could not stand up. I like, even now, it's like I have to adjust because it feels like a pinch. I don't know what happened, but, like, I deeply resonate.
B
I'm throwing out my back just by thinking about throwing. Have you done it?
A
I've never done. I've never thrown out my back. I happen to me, me. A week ago on Saturday, it happened. We were at the park, same movement. I literally was like this and could not stand up. I thought I was paralyzed for real. I was like, oh, my God. And even when I went to go sit back, I was like, I can't feel anything. Like, everything went numb. And then it happened again on Monday. And that's never, ever happened to me.
B
Is just like, it's such a scary thing to not work. Like, whenever my spine is, like, not working on a Tuesday, I'm like, oh, yay. It's like. It's so scary.
A
What do you do for it?
B
Ibuprofen, chiropractor. It's hard because, like, I. There are surgeries, but it's like, you don't walk. Like, it's metal rods.
A
And because it's, like, right now, it feels like a. I'm gonna talk to my Pilates person tomorrow because she does, like, specialize in, like, physical therapy.
B
So I'm like, oh, that's good.
A
See, hopefully, because it's like, it pinches. Like, it just feels pinched all the time. Like, right now, I'm sitting in my chiropracture.
B
If you need him.
A
He.
B
He literally does Beyonce. It works like, he is the best chiropractor on planet Earth. Like, he is, because some people are like, yeah, I'm not. He is at work, and he does a lot of, like, really cool new. He has a lot of new tech. Like, it's a lot of technology that does stuff. It's interesting.
A
And you think it.
B
Like, I wouldn't walk if I didn't meet Dr. Javita.
A
And you take it to ibuprofen. I'm scared to take also. Even, like, most, like, chicken Advil. I'm so. I've like, never take any pain meds for anything because I'm so scared, because sometimes that's inflammation.
B
So it's not even just for the pain. It's like an Advil, like, reduces inflammation. Yeah.
A
I'm really trying to stick it out, but it has been. It's almost to the point. That's why I was like. I feel like I've been a little, like, off because I'm just, like, meditating so, like, I don't pass out from the pain.
B
It's so hard to be present when, like, I literally can't turn my neck or, like.
A
Yeah.
B
Bend over in a certain way or, like.
A
But as soon as I saw you, I got really happy because I was just like. But I, like, obviously, I want to go non stop. You know, there's always, like, stuff happening, and it's just like, I can't. And also, like, resting doesn't, like, work for me. I get, like, more agitated. I get.
B
It's like an angst because you're almost feeling, like, all the things that you should be doing, you're not doing.
A
Yeah.
B
That also might be our mind and the fear and the scarcity where we feel that way to an extent. But I feel you on that.
A
And also just like, focusing on the pain, I think is never, like, a good thing. So I'm just like. I was just letting people know why I'm not flexible, because I just feel.
B
Yeah, a little. Your feet look cute.
A
Thanks. I know. I actually, like, love these. Me just still trying to, like, lift my legs.
B
Stop it, stop it. We'll insert a photo. Like, don't break your back. Will you do an order for me? I'm really big on gift order.
A
Okay, gift order.
B
This is the last one. Will you do that one?
A
Yeah. Oh, yes. You should absolutely tell me. I didn't know.
B
No, no, no, no. You've been going in my order. You've been going in my order. I'm so big on gift order. I think it matters. It tells the story.
A
Okay, so the story is we're in slippers.
B
I'm just. I like to go gradual. I like to start small and then get to the most.
A
Wow. What? It's so insane. I feel like it's like we're telling a story. We start not love line in the slippers. We're going on the plane to Vegas in our slippers. And then we get to Vegas and we switch into the Gucci flip flops. It's all for the not love line. Okay. Oh, my God.
B
I really hope you don't have this. I'm gonna tell you all the digging I've been doing in your, like, collections with Oscar and Moses.
A
Oh, my gosh. That is so funny.
B
Okay, shout out Oscar and Moses. Seriously, they are sleuths. They are sleuths.
A
I do love a Balenciaga. I do. I will like if it's pink and sparkly. I usually always have a blend, but Moses is good. Oscar would know, too, but Moses can literally go in my closet.
B
And so I was trying with both of them, but I just. I didn't. I don't know. I don't know.
A
Let's see. Okay.
B
Oh, my God. Please don't already have this.
A
Belle, who still loves the Prada. The Prada. She always. What was in My closet for the longest time, and she just, like, happened to take that one out, and it was, like, on display because it was sparkly. And I was like, you know what? She'll, like, have it one day or whatever. She always takes that one, and now she just, like, wears it out. She, like, loves that one.
B
That's, like, her favorite for them too, by the way.
A
I don't know why.
B
I don't know. I just saw something.
A
Oh, my gosh. You're so. You're so.
B
It's super.
A
Oh, my gosh. I do not have this one. I don't know how you're gonna say
B
I do have it.
A
This is a new one. This isn't.
B
I was gonna throw.
A
Oh.
B
So I feel like the city bag is the it girl bag right now. Everyone needs a cute city bag. I have my teal one, and I was like, you need a pink city bag. It girl moment.
A
We are so. Wait. This is everything. This is also giving. It's like a throwback, right? Did they used to have these in, like, 2,000, like, nine? They were so big. They were huge.
B
They're back. I always. Inside there should be a crossbody because I put on the long strap and then let it, like, belong.
A
Yes.
B
I don't want pink, and I want pink.
A
Think. Oh, my gosh.
B
But I'll get mine used.
A
Oh, my gosh. You could have got my knees. I do love your thrifting moments too. Oh, my gosh.
B
I was looking for. I was looking for everything because I wanted. I was looking for so many different bags for you, but I was scared to get you anything bigger than this. Like. Like a Birkin or a Kelly without knowing what Birkins and Kelly's, you know,
A
don't get me out of work. And girl, this is. This alone is insane. Like, I would have done a coach. You know what I mean? This is so. Thank you.
B
I love. I would have done coach literally not buying you Coach. You've done everything for me. I love Coach. No, Tino Shade. We do love a coach. Good. This is the it girl bag, and it matches the heels perfect.
A
Oh, my God. I'm gonna be so pinked out for our little not love. Like, this is so cute. I do love. The big bags are coming back because I have so many little.
B
I know. I was debating on a tiny one, and I was like, no, we. I want the throw everything in that bag.
A
Oh, my God.
B
So cute.
A
You are literally. This is too much. Like, this is crazy.
B
I have more coming. I'm not even. How do you even your birthday never ends for me.
A
How did you even have time? We couldn't even fit this in. Honestly.
B
We literally just had to do a Balenciaga drive by. Like I stayed in the car. The Westfield one? Yeah, like me ran in. They didn't have it until yesterday and I've been like, source me this pink.
A
Oh my God, I love it so much. I'm gonna wear it all the time.
B
It's so cute.
A
I actually haven't bought a new bag in so long cuz like you know we're in our non spending era but I will take a gift. Thank you so much.
B
It's so cute. It's so cute. It's such a good pink.
A
This is literally like what I got for my birthday. I got everything as slippery as in this.
B
I just love those. Matching perfectly is like dopamine for me.
A
I love this color. It's like a little like rose. Sorry to everyone on the podcast. Like where's the topics? Okay, one more. I just am really excited. Thank you so much. Oh my gosh. Thank you so much to Row for sponsoring today's episode. Have you tried a GLP one before?
B
Of course, girl.
A
And how has it changed your life?
B
Honestly, I really, I'm big on food noise. I'm big on just like you know, quieting that and being able to make better decisions. I think that on a GLP1 I will go for the kale crunch salad instead of the spicy deluxe gorgeous something. You know, like I. It's nice for making better decisions for me and my lifestyle.
A
I feel like I really always wanted to try out GLB1 but I was like scared of like the needles of it all. I'm like, how do you just do that at your house? But a bro now has the first ever or one of the first ever GLP1 pill form. Oh my God. I can with govy and pill sign me up. Because I can. That I can do. And I feel like if I. Yeah, that's my issue is I never feel full and if there's something to make me feel full and give me more
B
energy and a self administered like shot, like doing a self administered shot at home, honestly is horrifying. It is not my vibe. It is not my vibe.
A
But now with a pill I'm like, maybe, maybe I need to sign up for ro. We've been doing these ad reads for a while. I was like, let me, let me see what rose all about.
B
Yeah. And the pill is a new, more convenient and approachable way to try out GLP1s. If you've been thinking about it, a self administered shot can be intimidating. But now there's a pill that delivers comparable results.
A
That's right. Roe offers the first FDA approved GLP1 pill for weight loss at the lowest cost around. The new GLP1 pill has the same weight loss ingredient as a shot, impacts comparable results to the shot. It can help patients lose 14 of their body weight in a year on average. Oh my gosh. That would be amazing.
B
It is tea. That is one daily pill for fewer cravings and feeling fuller. With an innovative new formula clinically proven to maximize weight loss. The new FDA approved GLP1 pill is available at 149 for the first dose in addition to your row membership fee and 299amonth for the higher doses.
A
The robotic membership includes access to FDA approved GLP1s, unlimited power messaging, side effect management and more. All for just $45 for your first month and $145 a month thereafter. The Rome membership fee excludes the cost of GLP1 medication, which is actually insane. I went one time to inquire about a GLP1 shot. 400 a shot?
B
Yes.
A
Oh my gosh. 45 your first month.
B
Much more affordable. Thanks to Ro.
A
Thank goodness. Thank Ro. Right? In addition to the newly approved pill, Rosa offers a full suite of the most effective brand name FDA approved GLP1s all at the lowest cost.
B
RO offers the lowest cost GLP1s whether you're using insurance or paying cash after your first online visit. If you're eligible for treatment, you can expect to start your medication in less than a week if paying cash or about 2 weeks if using it insurance.
A
So go to ro co, not loveline to see if you're eligible for the new GLP1 pill on row. That's ro c o slash not loveline. To get started on row. Go to ro safety for box warning and full safety information about GLP1 medications based on study and non diabetics with obesity or overweight, plus a rate related condition with diet and exercise.
B
Thank you RO for sponsoring today's episode of Not Love Life. And so this last one, it matches my phone.
A
Okay.
B
It's kind of corny, but I wanted to do it for you.
A
Oh my God, I do love a corn.
B
So I made you a book.
A
This is gonna make me cry.
B
You did say it made me cry. It literally made me sob. So the book is titled why you're my friend
A
and oh my God. From Queen Tea. Queen for two. Queen Tea from Princess T. Oh my God, I'm literally gonna cry already.
B
I cried so much writing it. And it's. You don't have to read it all on the thing because every page is completely full, but it has all these prompts and.
A
Oh, my gosh, I love you. No, these are, like, your text messages. They're so sweet. They're always, like, so.
B
And I just wanted you to always have it, to always know that I love you so much.
A
Oh, my gosh.
B
No, it was crazy as I was writing it, just realizing, like, genuinely how much we've done and how much we've been through and, like, just how good of a person you are and a good friend.
A
I love you very much. I love this one. The. To turn our phone offs and leave the chaos of the bustling world at the door and just order our favorite foods and talk about whatever is on our minds. Zero judgment, welcoming. Oh, my God.
B
So this.
A
I just. These are so nice. All with zero judgment welcoming the other just as they are. These never. Oh, my God. It's literally so nice. It's so huge. You all. These are so you. Oh, my gosh. You. You wrote so much, though.
B
There's 30 pages. I was like, okay, we're gonna talk.
A
Oh, my God.
B
It was so fun.
A
You also. You also write. Just how you talk to me, who can lean cynical and needs a yin to her yang. You remind me that there's no age to bust out into song and dance. There's no cutout for dressing silly, that life is too short to cloud your mind. Oh, my God. You're such a good writer. You are. Oh, my gosh. The way you're.
B
Like, Some got silly towards the end. I was, like, just writing.
A
I'm gonna read every single one. Like, notes to me are the most special thing.
B
And you're like, it's all handwri with my horrible handwriting.
A
My third grade.
B
I love you.
A
Wow.
B
It was so fun. And I thought the title was so perfect. Like, this is why you're my friend. I'm telling you.
A
See?
B
It was so fun. I need to show you my security cameras. It's just me. Like, I love you. Oh, I love you so much. I love you so, so, so, so, so much. Thank you so much.
A
You're so welcome.
B
I was just like, you're throwing it in the city bag, and you have a constant reminder of why.
A
It's memories that you have, too. They're the memory you have of just the row. The row. Adam.
B
There's different memories in here, and some are more sentimental, but, like, there Are just like, we have so many silly memories. Like we will be dying laughing over doing an ad read. And like, it was my favorite day.
A
Me so hungry, trying to do that romance, passing out.
B
But it was just such a day where I felt so seen. Like we were starving. We could not get this ad read done. Like, we were having a heat stroke broke. And like, it just was like some like. Like a bestie moment.
A
That was so funny. I literally was so hungry. The food was almost here. And I just started like, literally slurring my words, like, am I okay? Like, and then, you know. But I felt the same way.
B
No, I felt I was like looking sitting across from you and I was like, we can't do this ad read until we eat.
A
Oh, my God. These are. Tana, you're so. Oh, my God. Not the Madison Square Garden.
B
These are just.
A
You're so funny. You have such good memories and you're.
B
I love you.
A
Thank you. I love you too.
B
So much.
A

We talked for like an hour in between episodes.
B
Just.
A
You kept talking to me and it felt so good. And I am so thankful for you.
B
I love you.
A
Oh my God, this is so nice.
B
I had so much fun doing it. I realized that I need to pick up a pen and physically write more because the hand cramps were so crazy. I was like, I really, like, dropped out of school and never picked up a pen again. Email, Journal, I type. So like, the actual holding of a pen was like, wow, you were so good. It just made me like, really reflect on, like. Cause time just flies and we do this and we have fun and like, it's a great time. But I was really sitting and like, reflecting on just like how much we have been through and like this bond that we've shown each other that I believe will be everlasting. And just like, I poured my soul into it and I just like, I want you to always have it.
A
And it's the best thing too. Cause you remember stuff way better than I do too. But then it Jogs my memory. And I just love all the stuff and all the important stuff she does. All the important stuff that we talk about on camera and off camera, the LGBTQ rights and ice out and just so much stuff that we talk about.
B
Just what I was like. I was really. Because what was the prompt? You make the world a better place with your whimsy and your silliness, and it's so true. But then also, you make the world a better place in such serious ways. And, like, I just. I get. I think that was a big thing I, like, really thought about a lot when writing this is like, I'm gonna cry. But, like, how lucky I am to witness your greatness. Witness at such a personal level. Like, it is such a true, true, genuine honor to witness the woman that you are in such a intimate way. And, like, what you see is what you get. And, like, there was another page where I was talking about that where, like, you go out of your way to make every single person in a room feel special, no matter what. No. No matter how tired you are. Broadway, British hacks, euphoria. If I was doing all that, I wouldn't have the energy levels. Like, I. I just. You are one of a kind that was like, you were one in a million. And I get to witness it so deeply and be there for you, like, no matter what. And it's just, like, I feel so lucky, so.
A
And I feel the same way. I feel very. I feel so lucky to know you, and you hype me up, like, nobody, like I said on and off camera. And you really are just. You are. You are the best person that I've, like, ever known, and I really do appreciate it. I've ever known. This is, like, the nicest gift anyone's ever done. It's just, like, literally, just like, a whole book of, like, love letters. And it's, like, the sweetest thing.
B
At some point, I was like, is she gonna think I'm a murderer? Because I really was like, I truly love you so much. And I was like, I hope she doesn't think I'm, like, hitting on her. Like, felt very low.
A
Trish might have thought that for sure before therapy. I thought everybody in my book, I thought everybody was in love with me. I'm like, shane's in love with me. Gigi's in love with.
B
Platonically in love with you. I am, like, platonically, wildly in love with you.
A
You are. I think if I would have been friends with you, like, when I was untreated, I would have thought that for sure. I'm like, are we in love? And then I would have, like, thought into this whole thing.
B
Me too.
A
Yeah. Bought into.
B
Oh, my God. I used to like my friends, you know.
A
That's crazy. I guess I would have if people wanted to do that with me, but I don't think it was ever mutual.
B
But then I would know. But then I would be like, why did I do that? Right. I'm happ.
A
Stay friends with people you've hooked up with. I don't know if I could. Like when you see them. Yeah. Anyways, it's going a different route.
B
Happy birthday. Happy birthday. I love you so much. And it's a very special holiday.
A
Thank you. This means. This means so much. It's like, this to me is the most special birthday ever. This is very nice and very special.
B
And the pink stuff, I'm so excited about. I also got the girls press on nails, but then it said ages 6 and up, and I'm like, I'm the worst aunt ever.
A
They love it. Oh, my God. Love the little thing.
B
We have accoutrement. Oh, my God.
A
Wait, what's gutramans Accoutrements?
B
I don't know. It's like a fancy word for accessories.
A
I've never heard that.
B
I can't stop saying that.
A
You're so smart. Literature, Tana. I feel like as you're writing your book, you're, like, coming up with all these words. So smart.
B
Even that I was like, just thinking about last night because obviously I saw that they said ages 6 and up. And I started having a panic attack. And then I was like. I was like, wow, Malibu is really three. And it's so crazy because I remember you being pregnant with Malibu. I remember the first time I met Malibu and like, she was a newborn.
A
Yeah, I know. It was crazy. You look so cute. Yeah. And I have a picture of you in the pot in our just her shroom. And it's you with Malibu when she was like, literally like seven months or something like that. Oh, did it fall off?
B
It's fine.
A
Okay. What are these?
B
This is so that we have a little confetti.
A
Oh, my God. I love that. Okay.
B
Okay, ready?
A
I love that you love a confetti moment.
B
Okay, let's see how this works.
A
How do you do it? Just pop it.
B
Yeah, I'm getting it ready for you.
A
Okay.
B
Okay, it's ready. Now what?
A
Do we do it? How do we do it?
B
We're gonna just. It's your birthday. One, two, three. Happy birthday.
A
Oh, it's smoking. Wait, why is it smoking? It does look.
B
Yeah, I like the smell.
A
It smells like it's on fire.
B
I love that smell. I just huffed that. So crazy. Like, I don't know. We're just like doing poppers on the podcast and it's giving it that. That was giving 2D. Who just do what the other one does. Like, we immediately start smelling it.
A
Chris, that would do whatever you do. I'm like, is that what you're supposed to do? I mean, I don't understand why it's smoking. I don'.
B
Know. I think it's like the compression, I think if I had to guess.
A
Oh, my God. Okay, well, love that. That was fun.
B
They smoke. They smoke.
A
It's normal. That's wild. Okay, great.
B
Okay, we have more if we're feeling like we need to pick me up.
A
I was giving Genetic Hurdy. I do get, like, weird with, like, loud noises.
B
Me too. That's as far as I can go. Because you know why I like those? Is cuz like 3 year olds like those.
A
No, I do love.
B
Did you see?
A
I've been. I've been carrying my purse on all the podcasts with me. I put it up on my shoulder. Like it's giving the. Your tana. Because I feel like you do that on my podcast. You had like, a lot a while ago. Like, you have the purse on you the whole time. Or do you do that? Or is it. Someone does that? I thought, I swear it was giving. It might be.
B
Tara. I've definitely done it. You know what it is for me now is I love to have my purse, like, on a set because I don't go as many places. Like, I'm not like, going like, out, like, to a party and showing off my purse. So I have to, like, get it in where I can.
A
Maybe that's what it is. You always, like, have it. I'm like, so every podcast I do now, I'm like, I hold it, but everyone always looks like it. Like, it looks like you're trying to, like, go. Like you're trying to leave. Because I have it just like, on my arm because I just want to show it, but it's like, it's a
B
part of the outfit. It's a part of the. The purse is my favorite part of every outfit. I just like, gave away a purse because I was like, I don't know. I'm a. I'm a purse enthusiast. I was like, I want to like.
A
Me too.
B
Forever.
A
I love a good purse. I'm so excited for this. Well, thank you oh, my God. This really does feel like my birthday. I don't even know where to go from this. And you're not doing a party this year for yours?
B
No.
A
You do a trip, you said. Right.
B
I think that honestly, I want to do something just me and Mokoa for the first time.
A
Like a trip or just like, a
B
dinner or like a. I'm literally at the point where, like, just a dinner feels great. I don't know what. For his birthday, we just did. I did a big group trip, and we all went to Cabo, and it was great.
A
And it was.
B
It was really great. But just the intricacies and getting 10 people in a sprinter van to go to dinner and like, oh, no, someone faced. And, like, just the house wants to charge us this. Even though, like, whatever. Like, it just. It's so much to where I'm like, I don't know, maybe for my 30th, I'll, like, do something big again. But I like, there is. Especially just in this era, I'm like, I don't know, like, working and, like. I see. It's funny because when you. If you go to tell your younger self, like, you're not gonna want a big to do for your birthday, it's like, the younger version of. You would never believe it.
A
Right?
B
And it's not like a sad thing. It's like, just wanting the intimacy, almost feeling like a true day of relaxation
A
is better than, like, the relief I feel. I do feel like it because. Because there is so much stuff happening. And then obviously, like, obviously, like, with Elvis's birthday, we're doing, like, a big Disney thing, and it's just like. Like, I'd rather focus money and time on that. And I'm just like. But I'm also relieved. It's also like. Yeah, it's not a sad thing for me either. I'm like. I'm happy. You know what I mean? So I. And I. To me, this is, like, everything. This is it. This is, like, eating good food, good people.
B
This was everything.
A
And the. The.
B
And I have one more coming. I really do.
A
But I don't put this on display because this is, like, the best. Oh, my gosh. I love it.
B
I love you.
A
Are you a Gemini? No. I love you. I'm a cancer. That's right. Yes. All my favorite people have been. Been cancer.
B
Really?
A
Yeah. Oscar's cancer. Aquaman's a cancer.
B
No way.
A
There is someone else that's a cancer in my life. Michael. Joe, who's my favorite uncle. He was.
B
Paige is A cancer.
A
Is she? Yes.
B
Our birthdays are one day apart, actually.
A
Oh, my.
B
Yeah. Really?
A
Do you do joint trips?
B
We have done, like, where it's like it's the 23rd, it's her birthday, and then like at midnight we like pass the torch.
A
Oh, I kind of love that. I used to say me, you know, she's a little younger.
B
She's a little older than me.
A
She. I saw.
B
That's why she's smarter than me.
A
Her not drama. She's. She posted about on her story. So I guess, Guess like she. She left a comment under James Charles. Did you see that one?
B
Yes. I was dying. I was like, she's just so funny.
A
But I feel like it was like people she said took it seriously because everyone was like dming her. So basically, James Charles, like left something, I guess he needed, like a content. A social media person or something. And she either left a comment and
B
I. I saw his video originally on my for you page and I found it very interesting. And like, obviously James Charles knows how to run a business. Like that is undeniable. And. And I'm not going to like, say anything about that, you know, because he does. He like, can do that. I just found it interesting. I would be like, I don't know, me personally, like, hiring off of social media crazy, like for an actual position on my team. I don't know. I just feel like there needs to
A
be more recipe for disaster, especially because I think he's been sued by an assistant. I think he has been sued by someone in the past. So I was just like, let's not search for. And not to say there's not wonderful people. I found people online for sure. Like, yeah, if you do it organically and it has to like, come not starting at a position and it's. I don't know. I think it has to come differently than just being like. Because there are a lot of crazies too. I think there's a lot of good, qualified people and I think there's a lot of crazy people.
B
Yeah, it's interesting. I'm interested to like, see how that goes because, like, I mean, if it works, it works. And you find this amazing person that you would have never found other than the video. Yo, like, good for you. I would just. I get scared of like, I don't know, you know.
A
Who else is doing that was David Dobrik, llc. Natalie was like, we're looking for people to hire. And I was like, that's so interesting because especially them. I would think they'd be like, what if there's a mole? There's a lot of people that obviously love him, but there's a lot of people that don't. And I'd be like, what if they're trying to, like, infiltrate or something? You know, like, maybe we're just paranoid.
B
No, I am a very, very paranoid person. But I also get why they're doing it. As I'm like, expanding the Brand Safe team and hiring and just.
A
Yeah.
B
Figuring that out. It's so hard. Like, so many people in LA too. I feel like just like make up rates, like. And I know that's like a crazy thing to say, but it's like someone will come in and do absolutely nothing and be like, that's five grand. And it's like, you used cap cut for two hours. Like, do you know what I mean? Like, like, what's. I. I use cap cut all the time for two hours. I don't think that's worth five grand.
A
That's crazy. And it's.
B
And then you'll look at their resume and they've, like, never done anything in the. In that exact field before. So it's like, where did you literally pull that rate from? Yeah, I always want to. I want to overpay people. Yeah. Like, it's. I don't want to underpay people. I don't want to pay people at the base minimum. I want people to make more than what the average is of the rate of the job. But it is crazy to me how many people are like. And you can't be. With an astronomical rate. It is one or the other. Like, you can be fl. Amazing. And then I still know I'm overpaying, but, yes, amazing. And I delegated the task to you and I have more free time. And that's awesome. But, like, if I'm shadowing over you doing your job, cap cutting with you, and then you want five grand for it. Like, they just. Whatever it is, whatever the job is. Cap cut was just my first example. But.
A
But I get like that with like, glam. Like, you know, someone tries to be like, I know what a glam rate is. Right? It's usually anywhere from like 500, 800 for like a hairstyle. But if someone tries to be like, oh, I just want a pony, it's gonna take like an hour. And they're like 30 $500. I was just like, oh, my God. And I get it. I get it, I guess, like, if you're a Kardashian person. But they've. I think it was like, Mario, someone said charged 30,000 for a wedding. Yeah. Which, I mean, I get that there
B
is like the celebrity of it all, but just I feel like, I don't know, I've had like hair appointments with just random people in L. A where it's like I'm helping them take my extensions out because they're ripping out my hair. And then it's like, that's three grand. And it's like an extension D installation is like a $400 job, you know? Yeah, I just see that in every, every facet of business in la. So it does get like, it's hard to hire here. I don't know. And then so many people have like such insane mal intent a lot of times, like the amount of girls I have hired in my career, at least three people where they came in for a job that I hired them for. Job description. I was paying them for the job description. And then I found out later on their social media that they were trying on and wearing my clothes. Like, that has happened to me three separate times. Like, they weren't hired for a position that had anything to do with having my clothes on their body on their social media. I remember. Do you remember those red mischief boots?
A
Mischief, no.
B
Like they were the big red boots that everyone's wearing.
A
Yes, the cartoon ones.
B
Yes, cartoon boots. And this was right when they were like super hyped. I had just gotten them in the mail, brand new PR package and I was gonna do this was in my of era. So I was like, red bikini and these boots. I see the vision.
A
Yeah.
B
I had them laid out in the box to unbox for my content, like for the shoot. And I had hired this girl to do something, to do a production task. Like she was helping me produce something for Tannabis. This was when Tannabis was a thing.
A
Love all your pun items and just
B
all my failed businesses.
A
No, but I love it. Yeah. Try honestly. I saw everything and I hired her
B
to do something for cannabis. And I left the house and then one of my friends texted me a tick tock of hers and she was just stomping around dancing in the big red boots. Like she opened the package and she just had them on. And I was like, I. What do you mean? And then she consumed all the cannabis, like all the products, all the edibles that were like, for a shoot. She like ate all the edibles.
A
Oh my God. And I was like, whatever. What happened? Was she okay?
B
She was like.
A

Thank you Shopify for sponsoring today's episode. Cha Ching indeed.
B
So with this hair today I have so much.
A
When you took a little break, if people were like wait, that was a quick cut off from whatever we were just talking about.
B
Oh yeah, we probably like lost a topic in there for sure.
A
It's fine. I do love it as a ramble too.
B
Or ADHD a little bit.
A
I think I might be. I should probably get diagnosed because I
B
feel like let me not diagnose you. I don't actually know if I think you have adhd. You're pretty focused.
A
So Oscar talked about all the time that he has it and he's like, I think you do too.
B
Maybe like a sprinkle. Like a, like a, like a.
A
You know with you it's so funny. The difference with you I'm actually like more focused. I feel like with Oscar I'm a little bit more all over the place. Like my head just goes everywhere. But it's also time of day. We do this in the afternoon and I do just in the morning. So I'm like what that has to do with it? Because I just. I'm so scatterbrained. Like, I'm literally like, he'll be talking about a topic and then I'm like,
B
I can't, like, I really can't turn on to podcast. I will, I, like, I will do it if I have to, obviously. But like, before noon, if I'm podcasting, anything that is coming out of my mouth is so. So I was gonna say invaluable, but I'm always saying invaluable things. But, like, just like, I don't know how to explain it. I'm not on. I'm not funny. I'm not like, in the morning at all. Yes. With anything.
A
What do you mean? You are so funny and you are.
B
But in the morning, like, I'm just like.
A
In the morning. Yes. Yeah, yeah.
B
Like, I'm groggy and I'm like, sweaty and I'm like, anxious and like, I don't turn on until like two when it comes to like, podcast demeanor.
A
Okay.
B
I don't know.
A
Interesting. I feel like I have like, way more energy in the morning. Morning, I just get more distracted. I think it's like, also, we're just like so free flowing, so I have to like, really focus on what you're saying. I focus on Oscar. I just feel like I get more attractive because he's so organized. There's no this. And I'm like always all over the place.
B
You know, it's that. It's that you're like, you're reliant on him in a way that you know that he has this structure so you're able to kind of let go. Whereas with me, it's like, we got it. We gotta juggle this together.
A
It's very focused. I'm very like. And I'm also just a. I used to be a really bad listener. I feel like doing podcasts about this and discussion. Interviewing. I become a better listener. I used to be the worst listener. Like, someone would be talking and I would always be thinking about the next thing I would say. And not even in, like, even in conversation, I guess even in, like, just friendship. I would always just be like, thinking how I'm gonna react to what they're saying as opposed to, like, what are they actually saying?
B
Social anxiety thing too? Or like, so many different things, maybe.
A
Yeah.
B
Or narcissism. I don't know. I was doing that. I was doing that for a long time. Out of narcissism.
A
You, like, don't listen. Yeah. Maybe that's why I like, didn't have friendships, as I also was like, not, not a good Listener. And I also, like, didn't care. Maybe I was just a really bad friend or. Narcissist is narcissism. Can you get diagnosed with that or. No? That's just.
B
You can, but you're not a narcissist. Not okay. I'm like, really, like, pht over here today. Like, I don't. Amari's always getting on me for this. Like, oh, for. It is just psychology. Like, diagnosing and like, thinking I know everything.
A
Narcissist has one time with Dr. Drew and I can't remember what the results were, but I don't think it was that bad. I don't know. I have no idea. I don't think I am, but I don't know. Maybe I am. Who knows? I guess a narcissist wouldn't know.
B
They are, you know, I will always say that I think that being an influencer sometimes for some people, I'm speaking more for myself. Like, there is this vein of, like, what else do you really chalk it up to other than narcissism? To think, like, that I'm going to sit down in front of a camera and like, people are going to love me or people are going to have this interest in what I'm saying. But I also don't think that makes you a full blown narcissist. Like, a narcissist is incapable of empathy. A narcissist is incapable of accountability. A narcissist is, like, truly in a sinister way almost.
A
Yeah.
B
Which is sad because they can't help it. I don't want to, like, say sinister. I don't know. I was thinking about my parents.
A
Well, they probably can get help for it. They probably can't help it.
B
Yeah. It's just a hard one. It's a really hard one to help. That's like, you have to be aware. Yeah. I, like, I. I don't. I don't know.
A
Maybe I was. I feel like through therapy I've become more empathetic towards people. I don't know if I always was. I never did anything.
B
I have mouth. That's also with age, you know, that's what I was going to say. Like, a true narcissist doesn't care what happens to anyone else. It's just about them, you know what I mean? Like, emotionally, physically, even. You know, like, just. They don't care. I don't know.
A
I'm so bad with all these, like,
B
terms, but I love psychology. I don't know what it is. It was my first, like, coping mechanism.
A
I think like learning about.
B
Yes. Cuz I wanted to find out why people were the way they were. I couldn't just take the fact that like this person is mean or this person is a liar or this person. Person is. Whatever it may be, this person is erratic. I had to like know exactly why. And that was like how I coped for so long. And I think I still am that way, unfortunately.
A
Yeah, that's a good way though. Because I do think, like you said, I think there's like reasons why people lie and there's, you know, there's always like a reasoning behind it. I don't know if anyone's like, some people are just born a little evil, I suppose. Like.
B
Yeah.
A
People who do stuff to kids. And so I'm sure that's like there's some evil in there. Yeah.
B
Which is so sad. I don't know.
A
Yeah, I guess you need exorcism. The birthday episode. Turn.
B
I love when we will. We'll just be having like, we'll go so like, I love our rabbit. Rabbit holes like it where I'm just like, oh my God, we got so dark and so deep so fast.
A
Wait, it's your launch of Brand Save and we're talking about. Because we're talking about all the press you've gotten, which is amazing. Are you gonna. Do you want to. Are you like over it? Because you're like, I need to talk about it. And then I was like, okay, but are you also like.
B
I. I don't think I'm gonna like call it out by name exactly what's happening. But I had this moment this morning where I just. I did an interview and what I said, it's so interesting because you can say something in your way and your tonality and like mean a completely different thing. And then an interviewer perceive it or actively choose to twist it and like put it out and it's just not what you said, not what you meant, or just point blank not what you said. And I like, was having a crash out in the car about just like a couple things in an interview that I like did where I was just like, I didn't say that or at all.
A
Or was it twisted? Was it a paraphrase or was it a quote? Like, did they quote you or were they like implying they were saying that
B
like confirmed something happened because of something. And I never, I never confirmed. Confirmed that.
A
And do you get anxiety because that is like awful when like, yeah, if you didn't say something. Mine always get twisted and I'm like, Ah. Why are he doing interviews or anything? Because I'm always like, it's always written
B
ones because it's so interesting. Just like it's one thing if it's video, because then there's like video of you saying the thing. Like sitting on a podcast and being interviewed. Like, it's not up to interpretation of like how you said it. Whereas like someone is supposed to sit and record you and write it down and in shape. Sure. That like it's all. Even in this article. It also said that like, I own unruly agency and like I don't. Oh. And like I never have and like my friends own it and like, you know, just where I was like, damn. There's just like a few things in this piece that are not true.
A
I mean, that's kind of a big one. I feel like that's like a crazy
B
one if you like unruly agency.
A
Wow. So what do you.
B
I feel like I was about to go off. I had to like, I play back that video of me.
A
I would go, hey, I had to come together. Did someone come in person interview you?
B
Uh huh. And it was a great experience. But it's like, it's one of those things where it's hard because then you don't want to post it because it's like it's. It's not. And there was just like a sentiment in there. Honestly, I guess I can just say it like about Brooke and I that I just like did not say. And yeah, it just really upset me because it's a narrative that I, I do everything to like ensure is not coming out or happening or just like it's. It's just like, it's not what I've worked so hard for. It's not what I've like what I feel. And I don't know, it is interesting. It's also one of those things where it's like Brooke and I laugh about this a lot. Where we're like, we can say this, but you can't say it.
A
You know what I mean?
B
And her and I always laugh and like joke about the fact we'll be like, we both would make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich completely differently. Or we see like the way the sky is blue completely differently. But then have like an article, right? Like confirmed business disagreement. I'm like that as if you confirmed it.
A
Yeah.
B
And like, and also like what we said in the last episode of Canceled is exactly what we meant. Like it just, you know what I mean? That was exactly what we meant. There is no Further digging to be done. There is no big secret to uncover. There is no like. And. And just. If we were men, it wouldn't be. They would take that last episode as face value and I wouldn't be sitting here six months later upset that, like, you know what I mean? Just like that things come out and happen the way they do.
A
I guess that is, like. I think that's like, the most frustrating part. Do you ever, like, going forward, are you like, do you ever get topics like, you don't want to talk about? Are you ever, like, absolutely not to this. Are you just completely open when it comes to interviews?
B
I do, I do. I feel like I'm there. Like, I have my list of things where I feel like. Like I even like, the Jake Paul marriage is a great example where I've just, like, I've beaten this into the ground and, like, I'm saving anything else I would say about it and how I felt at the time for my book. And there was no need to associate him or I with that in our lives now because we have done so much since then. And I understand that we can, like, laugh at it because it was a big bullet point in my career.
A
Yeah.
B
But, like, I will. Like, I've told my PR people, like, I'm not gonna sit and delve into that in 2026. It's tired. Like, there are certain things like that
A
where I'm like, do people ever try? Or you're like, this was not a one I want. Do they try?
B
Yeah, they try. And I feel like I'll like, laugh and gift giggle about it and stuff. But, like, yeah, there are just certain things where I'm just like, let's not do this in 20. There's so many other things to talk about. And, like, I also try not to do that to people. I think it's like when you sit down with a conversation for someone else and you're interviewing them, like, you know, it'd be like me sitting down across from you and just like, being like. So the. Tell me about you being a chicken nugget. Yeah. And you're like, I've talked about it.
A
Yeah.
B
And like, I.
A
Not relevant.
B
Yeah, it's just like, it's. It's almost disrespectful. Disrespectful to me too. And I get that the. The actual press, the traditional media press works in a different way than, like, personal interviewers where, like, they do want more of the bullet points and the dollar amounts of what was made and, like, the juicy things and Stuff, but
A
just still I'm like, but yeah, it's like, it is lazy like journalism because it's also like, there's so much stuff happening in the now and also point blank period.
B
Like, if I say something, publish it. But if I didn't say the thing, like, I don't know, I just like,
A
also things out of context. Not that yours is, but I've had stuff that's like, they'll like, quote it, but it's so out of context. You know what I mean?
B
Yes. And I feel like that happens a lot with the written interviews where it's like, yes, I did say that, but for this one, I didn't say that sentiment. But I'm just saying in other scenarios, like, maybe I like about sobriety or something, like, it's like, yes, I said that I like, was going to die and drunk every day. Even that I feel like was happening in this article a little bit where I, like, said a lot of things about sobriety as a whole. And then it was kind of positioned to look like I got sober only for Macaulay and a recent interview. Yes. And I was just like, I. Obviously meeting the love of your life helps.
A
Yeah.
B
But like, taking the. Another sentiment of like, I was gonna die and like, whatever and that, I don't know, like, putting it towards, like, Makoa being the only reason when like, yeah, that's not. The only person who can get you sober is you. There can be helping factors.
A
Right.
B
And like, whatever. But at the end of the day, it's an act of. You're making the decision to go through the withdrawals and to change your life into all the things like, I just.
A
And only you can, like, do that for yourself.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah. Written interviews have always been like that. And it always. There's always like a different tone. I've only had, like, one that was like a positive tone. Anytime I've done, I said to a ton of written ones, they always would do, like, a little bit of like, a dig at me. I'm like, okay.
B
It is so true. Like, I thought, oh, my God. And I have a lot of trauma, I think, with that too, where like, the interviewer comes to you and they're so nice and they're sitting with you so personally and they're sucking the fart out of your. And then the article gets published and it's like, former Vegas hooker Wild Child, who's literally done everything horrible on the Internet ever is now kind of okay. And here's my interview. She was wearing jeans across from me. Like, I'm not saying that that's this one that I'm talking about, but I've had that happen to me in the past. Like, and it's just. I don't know, maybe it is a traditional media thing. It's why I like a podcast more
A
or something, because it's like, yeah, no, and they do. I remember one article was, like, written by someone, one who's like, she came to interview and it was great. It was great. And then she just talked to someone that I was like, she kind of put me next to. I was trying to get out of drama. I know it's hard to believe. This was like, five years ago. I was, like, trying to get out of, like, my drama era. And she put me, like, she, like, asked me about or compared me to or, like, something with this person I didn't really, like, want to talk about at all. And then I was, like, annoyed and I was like, hey, like, do not put that in the article. Like, I was like, so they just do anyway. They do it anyways. But then the title was literally like, trisha Paytas, try to cancel me or something was like, the title of her article. I was like, it was just like, it was so bad. I was like, oh, no, no. I was like, never again. It was.
B
The written journalism game is definitely, like, it's crazy because it's like you hire this press team and then this, like, these big things come across your desk and like, it's like, how exciting would it be to have a written article, like, in these different publications? But then they happen and I'm like, you know what? I. Maybe I. Maybe I don't need to be that brand safe if we can't get it right. Like, you know, maybe I would just rather. I don't know. I also think our jobs are very personal to where we tell our story. And I like, very much, much like, your word is your bond. And I take pride in, like, if I say something, I feel it to my deepest core. So to have your words flipped around a million ways and, like, put in different sections and not where you said it and stuff, it might bother me more than, like, a traditional media celebrity because, like, that's not their job. That's not, like, their job isn't as reliant on that personal image and connection.
A
Yeah, yeah. Just not having control over it is, like, hard. It is cool, like, when you get options. Like, yes, luckily, lately it's been. I. Maybe I'm just better at how I. But like you said, if you didn't say anything like what can you do? That's actually crazy that, that I said
B
so many things about our relationship that I wanted to be and just how happy I am that are like mine and her relationship is so good now. And like was this one in print? Yeah. I don't know.
A
I still going to buy it?
B
No, no. I don't know.
A
It's cool to see like your picture because it's such a big one. I mean like I know that is so disheartening as hard because like from the outside I was saying this earlier, like from the outside, outside things aren't as big of a deal as it is to us. And like maybe it will be. Maybe it's like viral. Maybe people will talk about like I said, you know, you never know. People pick up on things or whatever. Maybe they will be. They won't. But like from an outside perspective, I'm always like, oh, but it's so cool because it's like you got it, Prince. You got this. And it's like I get it. But I also get that too when it's like happening to you and you took something that's like it feels like the end of the world.
B
My triggers too. Like just point blank period. Being like, I didn't say that. Yeah. Is like, like, you know what I mean? And then feeling like people aren't gonna believe you and feeling like because it's published, like you did say say it and it's like, but I didn't. And like it just like I don't know, really bad.
A
I don't know if anything's been ever just lied like Trisha owns like you know, crumble cookie or something.
B
But yeah.
A
Which would be cool. Yeah.
B
Even that I like I wasn't even thinking about that. I was thinking about the other thing. But both.
A
Yes. Yes. Yeah.
B
Just where I'm. I don't know but I mean but it happens I guess.
A
Are you gonna do a tick tock? You're. No, no.
B
I think I'm just like I honestly was debating even podcasting about it, but it's the truth of my day and like it is interesting finding out all these kinds of caveats as like the brand safe as I'm entering this like different world. Like there are definitely things that I really love and there are things that I'm like maybe I don't really like need or want or yearn for that thing as much as I thought I did.
A
Like what you thinking about? Like just publicity.
B
Yeah. Or like written articles.
A
I was out of that. Written Article? Yeah, a long time ago, I was like, I. I had a couple good ones recently, but yeah, you. Years ago, I was like, God, this is awful. Just keeps making look good.
B
But I don't understand why, like, lots of big media corporations don't want you to, like, review it. Like, because I could have easily been like, hey, I didn't say that. Hey, I don't own unruly. Hey. I know. Like, you know, and like, it could have been great. And then I want to post it. And that's kind of the point. Right? It's beneficial for them if, you know, like. And now it's like, I don't want to. I don't know. It's just like, I'm not gonna publicize something that says, like, some whatever, but
A
you should still get a copy just for the photos. Yeah, I guess it should black out the stuff. That's not true.
B
Yeah.
A
Liar.
B
Like, I know, I know. And honestly, I'm not gonna. Like, who cares in the grand scheme of things? Like, this era is so great and I'm so grateful and so excited and everything that I've been working on, like, cannot be discredited or taken away from me, you know?
A
Yeah. Just like, not who you are now. And that sucks that that reflects your. Yeah.
B
But it is what it is. And I'm still just like, like, hello. I just like, knocked a tooth out almost. I'm just so grateful.
A
Did you finish your first episode? Because I think last we talked to, you didn't finish your first episode. You did finish it. That's the one under. I mean, it's been out by now. When this comes out. Hollywood under the Hollywood sign.
B
Yes.
A
So what was your first episode, like? Experience? What was.
B
I shot two, actually, which is like, I've never done that before. I've never shot like an A option and a B option of the same pop podcast. But we shot it in my bed the first time around, and Kyle and I were looking at it. We were just kind of like, we want to do something more visually interesting and that tells more of a story. Like, there are a million episodes. Like, half of the Brand Safe podcast is going to be for my bed. Let's be so real. Like, that's what I wanted was the intimacy and the take anywhere vibe and all of those things. So then, I don't know, we just started. I have this baby blue convertible that I, like, died trying to get. I have.
A
Is this new?
B
It's not that new. I've probably had it for like three months. You bought it? Yes. Yes. So many problems with it. It needed a new transmission and, like, the guy low key scammed me.
A
Is this your third car?
B
Yes. I'm done. I'm done. I'm absolutely done.
A
And I love that it was a
B
little bit of an investment because you can rent it out for other people to shoot with.
A
Oh, my God. So what year is it?
B
1976. And it's a little blue baby and she's so cute.
A
Oh, my God. But what cut style is it?
B
You said it's a Mercedes and it's a convertible and it's blue and it's vintage and it's so cute. I can't drive it. It's so hard to drive. You have to, like. No, you. You just have to, like, kick the brake. Like, you have to, like. It is. It is. Maybe in two years I'll be skilled enough so, like, Makoa will be the driver.
A
So I had a 76 trans AM and it would never pass smog test.
B
That's so funny that you also had a 76 car.
A
It was a sad boy one. And we like, sprayed, painted, and it was for a music video. I was like, I'm gonna drive this everywhere. Never passed a smog test ever. I was like, okay, did I get this?
B
And I got so, like.
A
But yours sounds like it's been kept up and nice. Mine was like, literally like, no, but it was difficult.
B
So I like, I. I. For my tarte shoot, I shot with the baby blue convertible. Oh, my God. I was like, oh, my God. I want this so bad. It's so me. It's so my vibe. I want to shoot with it. I want to like all these things. And then I find out that a lot of people do this where they get the convertible, but then they're letting other people rent it for shoots, and it just pays for it. So I was like, I could essentially, I could have this car that is my dream, like, for free, which is, like, very cool to me. And so I meet up with this guy. He has one for sale, and. And I end up he's talking to me and he's like, this car is my baby. And he's very, like, almost angry about selling it. He's like, just telling me, like, I have a kid and like. Like, my wife wants me to sell it. And it like, oh, it was just very icky in the way that it's like, you have a kid. I'm sorry. Like, maybe just like.
A
Like, you know me, like, be excited for the kid.
B
Yeah, yeah. Like, it said, like, he Was making the kid sound like the bane of his existence. And I was just like, oh, my God, I really hope you don't treat your child this way. Then he's, like, trying to find out if him and I have any mutuals. And he's like, do you know who Zach Bagan is? Who's Holly's ex who cheated on her, the ghost adventurous guy. And I'm like, oh, my. No, I don't know him personally, nor do I want to. Like, well, I just said, like, Holly Madison is one of my great friends. So, like, I, you know, just. I gave him a little. Like, a little. Little face, like, a little whatever. And then I get in this car and I'm driving it around, and, well, McCo and I are driving it around, and I start having this, like, deep gut panic attack where it's just like, do not get this car. Like, and it's perfect. It's beautiful, it's running. It's everything I want it to look like, and it's everything. But my gut is just like, get out of the car. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. And then I come back to the dealership to tell him or to the mechanic to tell the guy who was waiting for me, like, if I was gonna buy his car or not. And there was this huge sign inside of the dealership that had, like, shirts and almost hanging over it. Like, it said, like, don't enter, but all it said was just do not. Like, all the words were being covered except for do not in big red letters. And I was like, let me just not buy this car from him. Like, my gut told me that, like, even though it's my dream car.
A
Yeah, the literal signs. Yeah, do not.
B
And I just, like, the panic attack. Like, I got in it, and I wasn't happy. I wasn't like, any of the good things.
A

B
I have this whole panic attack, and then I go home and I deep dive on him. And this is this man's personal car, and he was doing. He produced the Ghost Adventures show. So they were doing all that, like, demonic together, him and him. And I was like, I literally rode around in the demon mobile. And I was just like, I don't want that juju.
A
Oh, my God. That's not the one he got.
B
Yes. So then I had been on a hunt to find the exact same car just sold by someone else. And then I finally found it from this guy, and he's like. I'm like, it's perfect. It's in better condition. So I'm like, this is amazing.
A
He's.
B
He the guy who. The new guy is like, I'm selling this car because I bought it to drive around Hollywood all the time. And then I became a famous musician in Paris. And so now I'm famous in Paris, and I go there for my shows. And this car is in perfect condition, and it's my baby. It's the only one I've ever had. Like, da, da, da, da. Like, it's a head turner. I buy it and then I get home And a couple weeks go by, and there's. And he told me, like, the steering wheel is leaking fluid, but that is the only problem. And so we take it into a mechanic and, like, it's never gonna drive again. Like, there's so much wrong with it. Like, it needs a new transmission. Like, I got scammed. And then I'm on Marketplace scrolling, like, recently for, like, a couch or something, and I see another baby blue convertible. And I click on it, and it's this guy. He's not a Parisian musician. He just flips baby blue convertibles. You.
A
Oh, my God.
B
And it was so expensive to, like, fix it and just.
A
Oh, no, wait, that.
B
So that's my convertible story.
A
So be wary of the blue convertible salesman. And yes, like, oh, my God. But specifically, just the same car.
B
He just keeps flipping like, like, a little different. But, like, they're blue and, like, they're like, how did they get recommended?
A
You just saw it on Marketplace.
B
Yeah, because, like, obviously I bought this one on Marketplace. So, like, my, like for you page algorithmically was showing me more convertibles. Facebook.
A
Like that.
B
I love Facebook Marketplace. Like, I will meet up with anybody's auntie 20 minutes away.
A
You're the most paranoid person hiring someone off the Internet, but you're like, I will meet up with anybody on Facebook.
B
I honestly, when I say that, I more so mean like mag or I use the service lug. Like, I'll have someone lug something to me. I just want a toothbrush holder on Facebook. Marketplace.
A
Because it's Betty Boop and it's vintage girl. Find it online. Find it on ebay. Facebook. Marketplace terrifies me so much. I mean, you're one of the most paranoid people I know. In a good way, and rightfully so. You have a reason to be. But, like, what I know.
B
I actually. It is actually, like, really weird that it doesn't weird me out. It's just such a good deals and like, crazy vintage stuff and, like, I don't know why.
A
Well, at least you're having, like, pick it up. Yeah, well, that too. That is wild. I love that you're on Facebook like that.
B
That's so. I really am. And I just love used stuff.
A
Like, literally, it's just like an era for you.
B
I have a story.
A
I do like. I do like that you depop a lot of things and thrift a lot of things. We got to do that. I guess when we go to Vegas is thrift.
B
I really want to go Vegas thrifting. And like, the ones off the street strip and like, because, you know, there's probably, like, showgirl stuff and just, like, memorabilia. Elvis stuff. I would live.
A
That'd be so fun. I do love a little, like, Elvis adventure. Yeah. Because you have, like, I need to see your Elvis stuff in your house. Because I know you said you had, like, Blue Hawaii and stuff, which I think is the best name for a boy, if you ever have a boy.
B
Oh, my God. I know. Blue Hawaii.
A
We thought about it so much. I really did. Because Blue's also very trendy. Like, everyone has, like, a boy named Blue. I know.
B
I do love Blue. But there is Lucky. Blue Jack Blues, Blue Ivy. There's a lot of blues.
A
Blue labrant. Yeah.
B
Yeah. Like, Bluey the dog. Like, there's a lot of blue.
A
Love blue. And, you know, Blue is a girl. So actually, Blue Hawaii could be a girl.
B
Bluey is a girl.
A
Yeah. Crazy. Same.
B
Yeah. I really didn't like Bluey for a long time.
A
We didn't either. But now we're a Bluey family. They don't even really watch Bluey. They just like Bluey things, like the dog and, like, the experiences. Yeah. We're going to Disneyland next week at this. Yeah. Yeah. But next week. And they have, like, a whole Bluey Land there now, which is no way. I don't think it's Disney, but I guess it was acquired by Disney or something.
B
That's crazy.
A
Yeah. I do our Disney trip, but now it's summer, so I think summer. Summertime's just the worst time to go to Disney. But.
B
Yeah, it's so hot. That is crazy.
A
I'll have to figure out.
B
But that's exciting for Elvis. I feel like Elvis is. I'm noticing this lately that she's, like, finally really becoming so cognizant. I feel like there's the baby era and then there's, like, the talking. And Elvis is how old? One or two.
A
She'll be two on the 24th.
B
Yes. Which is so crazy to me. Like, that at 2 years old, she's, like, playing Spider man with me and, like, saying words to me and, like, wants to, like. You know what I mean? Like, she's just. She'll pick up this microphone and talk into it, like, her awareness. Your kids are also, like, even Malibu being three, Like, Malibu's five to me. Like, she's just so smart.
A
Yes, she is. No, same. She is literally five. Like, I don't understand how she's only three. Elvis, too. It's like, one to two is the biggest change in, like, they really are baby to, like, a Person at the end of their one year. I see tick tock trends all the time. I was like, you know, on their first birthday versus the last, like the first day of being one versus the last day of being one before they turn two. And it's like crazy the way they talk and just do so much. It is. It's wild to see it happens so fast.
B
But it's so cool. It is so cool just seeing your kids grow. They are the best.
A
Yeah, I'm. I am super sad about like. Yeah. Not having any more babies actually. It makes me really, really sad. Yeah, I was. Damn. Cuz it's such a fun, exciting time.
B
But maybe you'll become a pet person. Like maybe you'll get like a fun pet. No at all.
A
That's so much work. Cuz it's like. And babies are a lot of work too. But like they grow. They grow and they start talking and stuff. And I, I love pets. I love that people are so connected. Connected to them. It's so.
B
No, it is true. I think about that a lot. Whereas like a kid is getting smarter and smarter and more grown by the day. Whereas like Buster's going to be walking and pissing at the same time until
A
you'll always have to clean up their bathroom. Which I mean, I don't think that's fun for anyone at a kid's stage or anything. It's just don't love doing it. Maybe a fish. Oh, we had a fish too that didn't like last very long. The fish with. We fed it. We were doing everything right and the fish was like floating one day and it like traumatized everybody and I was
B
just like, oh my God. Like the fish of it all. Like the fish dying is like a lot to handle emotion.
A
We had a fish named Fish and the fish.
B
A fish named fish is cute. I had a fish named Sock and he died.
A
And it floated. Yeah, they all just start floating and then you have to scoop them up. Yeah, it's really sad. And I was like, oh, now we have. And I felt like we had that energy of like a. A life being and then people just flush it.
B
It's like. That's so sad. Like I had a whole moment for sauce. This was a long time ago.
A
We do a burial too. We try to let the mice go, but. But if a mouse, you know, ends up. If we find. Because here we're in the mountain, so if you find like a coyote or something, then you see it. We try to bury them. I know birds and that stuff too. They Sometimes birds.
B
Just birds. What do you mean a parrot is talking? I can't. I can't get behind that. I'm so sorry.
A
That is weird. But that's never like, you never see a parrot in the wild talking. It's always just like a pet parrot that talks. So does someone teach them?
B
I think it's just. They're actually just mimicking the sounds that they hear that are words. Like, that's actually what it is. Like, they don't. Whatever. But it just freaks me, the new euphoria. Have you been watching?
A
Yeah. Where the.
B
I just watched.
A
Oh, yeah.
B
That was crazy. Yours comes out this Sunday, right?
A
Yes, mine comes out this. Are you excited? Yes, I'm excited, but I am. And I'm only nervous because it's happened to me. And so I actually have so much empathy for him. It's like the mini hacker episode came out on Sunday and everybody was like, that was it. You know, because it literally was like a half a second of his back. Did you see him in his last. So. And he had a press release and stuff. So let's. Like, obviously I had a press release for it. I'm like, what if. Because my theory is he won, like, creator of the year. He wasn't Vinny Hacker. He was playing somebody and he won Created the year. My theory was maybe he went up and, like, did an acceptance speech and maybe they cut it for time. Even hacks touch stuff for time. Like, there's a line about me doing mukbangs.
B
That was easy. Thing about acting.
A
Yeah.
B
And you just don't know.
A
I've done. I did a line and like, get him to the Greek, Elvin and the Chipmunks. Like, yes, man. Like, I've done so many things where my line has gotten cut.
B
You are so funny.
A
And what.
B
What do you mean? I hope it in the Chipmunks. Like, when. And what was your line?
A
Oh, my God, I can't even remember. I was like, backstage. I might have been just like, oh, look at that. You know, like one of those things. But it was like. It was a close up, you know what I mean? And it was like one of those moments. Like, okay, now you're gonna say this line. And then it, like, got cut. Wonderlust, the one with Jennifer Aniston. Like, I remember telling everybody, like, oh, my God, I was in the makeup trailer. Jennifer Aniston, she gave me seaweed.
B
Like, Jennifer Aniston gave you seaweed?
A
Yeah, she was like, you want some seaweed? My scene was with Joe Low Truglio.
B
I would never shut up about that.
A
It was every, everything. And the director's a famous guy too, and I can't think of his name right now. But anyways, I was like, wouldn't shut up about this. It was like 2011 and I was like at Universal Studios filming this movie. And it was like a one day shoot, but I was like, wow, guys, I'm with like all the people from that movie. And then like, it came out. We watched the whole movie in theaters. Like, okay, it's coming. I know it's coming. And like, never aired. And my scene, that's awful. I know in theaters too, you're like
B
waiting and you're like, that's awful.
A
I even looked up like, deleted scenes. I'm like, it has because we filmed it so much. Ken Marino, I think, was the director and I was like, he's pretty famous. And I was just like, what? And then Joel Truculli, who's in like all these movies, like, I was like, his like, wife. He was like, he is doing a book cover. And I was like, his. His trophy wife. And I was like, so excited. And then like, it just never ends up.
B
But I do feel like with where Euphoria's storyline is going and like Cassie, clearly at the end of this episode, she is about to like, go into fame. And I feel like I know what your role was.
A
Well, I guess we can say it because it'll be out by the time
B
you're interviewing her and stuff. And I feel like, like that is pivotal to this storyline. So I think, and I think that Sam Levinson, he. He would just be so very silly to cut.
A
Well, we met the editors who edited my scene at the premiere and they were like, you're. You're so good. Your lines are so good.
B
Like, so they said it, but I'm gonna myself.
A
But okay, like, it's gonna be quick because I was, I was. I was on set for the full day, but I probably only filmed like three or four hours. I also didn't have a script. It was like all improv. So I have. I had no idea what the story was.
B
So sick though.
A
That's what I'm saying. So they're like, interview and see what
B
was Sydney Sweeney like?
A
She was really nice. It was really late. It was like 9pm And I think they were filming all day. And so I met her in the makeup trailer. She was like, really sweet. And when we did our scene, it was like, she was really nice. And yeah, I had to. I don't know what's gonna air. So, like, it's hard because we're obviously filming this right before. But at one point, I remember it's like. It's like about two hours of, like an hour of improv or whatever, whatever. And they're giving me. They're feeding me scenarios. So, like, ask her about this, Ask her about that. So, like, I don't.
B
Do you remember one of the scenarios?
A
It was like, no. No, I can tell you for sure. I think. I don't know. Well, anyways, yeah. I mean, everything. It was like politics. It was like, do you have any stalkers?
B
It was like, oh, it's definitely making the cut.
A
It was like, a guy. She did a scene with, like, some influencer. And I was, like, asking her about it. Oh, her, like, screen name. But then it was like. Then I got to a point at the end, he's like, all right, now I want you to make her cry. Like, so Sam, like, Levinson's like, okay, you. You make Cassie, Cassie, you cry. You know what I mean? So I was just like, okay. He's like, get really aggressive with your questions. So then all of a sudden, he's like, go more into the stalking. Be like, aren't you scared that guys are going to come to your house? So all of a sudden, I'm, like, attacking her. Cassie. And I'm just like, aren't you scared? Like, did you not think of this before? Like, just getting, like, really, like, nasty to where he's like, no, more. More.
B
Did she cry?
A
And Cindy's going. Sweeney is, like, bubbling up. She's like. She's, like, scared. She's, like, looking around. She's just like. I guess I never thought. Like, she's just like. And she's like, I honestly felt like a bully. I was like, oh, my God. And then, like, she would say outlandish things. I guess I could say this. Whatever. It doesn't matter. In the good way. I would say she would say the most outlandish things. And I literally stopped for a minute because I'm just like. I don't know what to say to that. Like, she would say, as Cassie, obviously, like, the craziest things. I'm just like, what is happening? I also wasn't familiar with season one, season two. Not that you have to be, because is obviously. But I just also didn't know the context of this season at all.
B
And people are saying crazy. Like, the. A lot of the. Like, even that line with her and Nate in episode one and the flowers, and she didn't want the flowers.
A
She's that character for sure. And I guess I didn't know what to expect, but I'm a podcaster, so I was like, all right, let me just keep asking questions.
B
I will say that her storyline. I'm gonna get hate for this. I'm gonna get so much hate for this. I'm the. I'm so interested by her storyline this season. Let me say that. I was gonna say it's the most interesting, but Ruse is honestly very interesting to me too.
A
Yeah, I think a lot of people feel that way. Whatever they feel about Sneeze. When you think a lot of people really like her acting and they really like her storyline.
B
Yeah, I mean, it's. It's just a crazy one because it's, like, the concept, and I feel like it's relatable in a lot of ways where you want this man and you think it's the be all, end all, and you imagine this perfect dream life with the person, but you're ignoring the red flags. Or maybe like, even in Cassie's case, like, you got the man based on bad morality and bad grounds. He was someone on else's, like, boyfriend. All those things, and then it just doesn't end up working out that way. And then maybe, like, all of the years that you were meant to spend becoming smarter and brighter and stuff were, like, wasted on this pipe dream of, like, the fairy tale ending, you know? Like, it's. It's very, very Cassie. It's a very Cassie storyline, but it's also very, like, I don't know.
A
Yeah, the interview went definitely, like, sad. It got really sad at dark. First she was very, like, confident, and then all of a sudden, like, it is amazing just to see, like, a real actress because, like, I'm in the scene with her, and I'm just like. I literally was like, are you okay? Like, I was, like, asking her as, like, a Sydney. I was like, oh, my God. Like, should we stop? Like, it's. And she's just, like, so good. And literally, when they all cut, she'd be like, giggling. She'd be, okay, good.
B
Yeah.
A
She's just, like, wiping the tears. Next.
B
That's.
A
It's. That is crazy.
B
It's the most talented thing in the world. I was talking about that in Brand Safe episode one because I talked about auditioning for Euphoria, not getting it a little bit.
A
Yes, I love that.
B
And I was just like, it is so hard to me, the eyelines and just remembering and the emotion and being able to leave your sense of self. I was talking about that a lot with you. Like, you even hacks, like, you did so good. I've only seen clips because I'm waiting to get to where you're at. Like, I don't want to spoil the show. I love the show Hacks, so I'm, like, watching it slowly to get there. But, like, you are locked in and, like, what they were having you do and, like, the backpack and like, just all the different.
A
Like, I mean, I did animals, so I think it was, like, easier. I think it's, like, harder to, like, lock into, like. And even in Euphoria, obviously, I'm a podcaster wearing pink and talking about fans. Like, I mean, it's very. Like, I know how to do it. I think to just be a completely different person seems, but still, like, to
B
let the cameras dissipate and to really, like, pretend as though you are in this world that you are like, obviously not in. Like, you know what I mean? Like, that is.
A
Well. And with the. Cassie went to like, it's. It was a full podcast. It was basically like, okay, do your intro. And I forgot what the name the of the podcast was something. I don't know. It's behind me in the thing. And they're like. So I'm like, hi, guys. Welcome to this. I'm. And I'm playing my host. My name is Trish. My guys, I'm Trish. Today I'm joined by Cassie, AKA and then, like, whatever her screen name was. And it's like, they literally just, like, had you interview her? I was just interviewing her for, like, an hour. And I was so scared, though.
B
I really do see what they made. This storyline has a lot of crashing and burning coming.
A
Yes.
B
Euphoria does that very well. So she's giving.
A
She's giving tears. And then, like, the other time in between when they were switching, I got to talk to Sam about the idol. He literally gave me all. And I can't remember all the tea, but I was like, I love the idol so much, and his wife is one of the producers. And he's like, she loves the idol. And I was like, let me. Let me just tell you, like, if I win the lottery, like, season two is coming, I'm gonna produce it. Like, I just was like, so. And he was like, so wonderful to, like, talk. So it was a good experience. I love acting. I would love to do more. It is. It is really fun.
B
I feel like you are, though, like, even just this. It was crazy. Even the other night, I actually. I texted Hunter, who's just like a straight man. And I'm like, hey, what are you doing, bestie? And he was like, watching church Trisha on Hacks. Like, and she's doing so good.
A
And it's just like, that's so nice.
B
A lot of people in my life are just like, oh, my God, Trisha on Hacks. Like, people like, watching it. You know what I mean? Like, I don't know, like, I'm gonna watch everything that you do, obviously. But it's so cool to see it just make to the masses of people watching it to where like, you know what I mean? Like, it's just. You're doing the damn thing. It's fun and you love it and you're passionate and you're good at it and you're so deserving. So well.
A
I want to get better. I would love to get classes. Like, we should do that. We should take like an acting class with you. Because I went love to just. I know I would feel silly, but I think that's like the whole point
B
is like an improv, like an improv class.
A
I would live so much.
B
I want to do that stand up. Like, to get better at stand up.
A
I would eat at stand up. Stand up. You inspire. Every time you say something, I want to stand up too. Like, it's so funny. Everything you say. I was like, that's could never. I've. I tried it before. There was an influencer standup show and I remember, like, bombing and I think, like, who is it? Is it Heather McDonald? Is that her name? The one that does Juicy Scoop?
B
Yes.
A
Yeah, she was like one of the mentors. Like, everyone had like a. A standup comedian mentor. I forgot my guy's name. I think his name was Al something. And like, you had to get up on stage at the improv and like, do a whole stand up routine.
B
It was two strangers in the crowd.
A
It was me, Alex Ernst, like, Glozell. Like, it was just like the most. It was so awful. But I was like, never again.
B
That's a funny concept. Just like, we should do that.
A
Well, you'd be good. And also it's a good touring thing because you just. You just need you and a mic,
B
like, if you can do it stand up. I consume so much. Like, even Kevin Hart has this show right now on Netflix. That's so good. He's like on the hunt for finding the next stand up comedian and he's going to all these different cities and having all these people audition for him. And another comedian, like, Chelsea Handler's one of Them and like a bunch of people like it. It'll be him and another, like, Tom Segura sitting and, like, watching people do five minutes. A bunch of people. And then, like, choosing the best. And then the winner of the show gets a Netflix Stand up special. And it's been like, so cool. It just. I love Stand Up. It's my favorite.
A
Those Stand up specials. People are getting like $18 million for like one stand up up. I'm like, it was so crazy. Yeah, okay, we'll wrap it up. Okay.
B
But, yeah, God cut us off. We were. I was about to go on a whole tangent about this influencer, but God cut us off.
A
Me just being like, bleep the name. But also.
B
Yeah, like, we know exactly who it is. And you all know that I have a lot to say about that ukulele.
A
That's all the time we had today on Hot Love Line. Was it messy? It's so funny. Cuz I came in with so much back pain and I'm like, meditative and I'm in my pieces and zone. I was like, my God, I'm in peace mode right now. And then. And then all of a sudden, like, no matter what, whether it's this or just. It's like, I'm gonna just be so optimistic and just so sweet, this episode.
B
Yeah.
A
And I always feel like it just always gets a little. A little messy.
B
You and I are just honest. And I think sometimes we do forget that the cameras are here. So we, like, start to just do the thing we do where we speak.
A
Yeah.
B
Freely. You know what I mean?
A
Because we just chat about whatever. All right. I just want to end this by
B
saying, happy birthday, Trisha. Everyone, please leave. Trisha, so much birthday love. I know. You already will. She has the best fans in the world. And we just love you so much.
A
I love you. Thank you so much. Oh, my God. Have a great may, everyone. Thanks for all the love.
B
We love you guys.
A
We'll see you soon.
