Welcome back to the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast.
Amanda Hirsch
I'm your host, Amanda Hirsch, and I still can't believe that I get to chat with some of my favorite stars.
Host 2
On my very own podcast, where you'll.
Amanda Hirsch
Feel like you're just talking shit with your best friends in your living room. So. Hi, guys. Welcome to a new episode of Not.
Host 2
Skinny But Not Fat.
Amanda Hirsch
This is your host, Amanda. I don't know if I lost my voice or again, had too many drunk siggies. I just saw a meme that said, the CDC now advises that drunk sigs don't count. Which I. Which I stand. It was funny, though, because when I had a drunk sig the other night, somebody said to me, oh, my God, an analog cig. And what was so funny is that I was a little overly tipsy.
Host 2
I started offering sigs to everybody who doesn't smoke and like, okay, wait, rewind. Hey, everybody, what's up?
Amanda Hirsch
Oh, my God. It was an exciting week. Last week I had a really fun, cool event. I threw a holiday party with threads. Threads, Allah. Meta Allah, Facebook, Allah, Instagram. It was a reality TV dinner. Really celebrating, like, the best in reality TV since, like, everything reality tv, like, happens on threads. Like, if you need the tea. If you want to just get into, like, conversations, like, that's where it's happening. Like, I knew would be good. Like, which I. When I have high expectations, I'm worried because I'm so used to having low expectations and then being surprised. I've told you guys that's my way of life and I recommend it. But for this, I, like, knew. I was like, it's meta. I. The guest list is great. Like the. The restaurant we did at the Golden Swans, like, this new, amazing restaurant. It's like, so swanky chic. It used to be the spotted pig. Anyway, I had high expectations. I had a fit. I had everything going. I was like, wait, this is not good. Like, me expecting it to be great, like, doesn't bode well. But it was. Which means, like, my theory is wrong. You could not have low expectations and still be blown away. But it was just so good. Like, everyone that came and like, it was like, literally beyond. Like, this is how you know it's a good event. Like, nobody wanted to leave. People, like, stayed after, like, announcements were made to, like, okay, we're done. And then people went next door to, like, another bar, even yours truly.
Host 2
Cuz I was like, I'm the host, so like, I cannot.
Amanda Hirsch
And I was like, I'll pop in. I'll pop in, I'll pop in. I'll pop in. Okay, now we're back to the drunk Sig. So on the way, I did smoke a Sig and was offering them to everybody who doesn't smoke. It was funny. It was really funny, actually. Like, I gave one to west, who then I made fun of him for not, like, holding it like a real smoker, which, like, why would he. Like, I just forced him to. Then I offered one to Kyle from Survivor, who's so sweet. He just wanted to give back to his wife.
Host 2
And he just made a comment about the zig. He was like, oh, six.
Amanda Hirsch
I'm like, here, take one to go.
Host 2
Like, does it. He doesn't have a lighter.
Amanda Hirsch
I force him to put it in his, like, pocket and take it.
Host 2
Because people are like, no, no, it's okay. And I'm like, I'm trying to be generous.
Amanda Hirsch
Anyway, don't cancel me. It was just such a good event. Like, everyone was so fun.
Host 2
It was so perfect.
Amanda Hirsch
Like, I, like, whatever it looked like on social media was really, like, it was more. And I totally get if you had fomo, because I would too. Like, I would too. But your messages are so sweet. Like, my OG's from the beginning, just being like, I remember when you were just watching, like, you know, VPR and commenting on it or like, somebody said, like, being a young Bravo fan, I'm like, emphasis on young. But, like, I still am a young Bravo fan that gets to do cool now. And it's. I am embracing it and I am. I am enjoying every moment, recognizing every moment, recognizing that year of yes, recognizing the 2026. I'm going to go harder, babes. I'm in it a minute. I'm in the year of yes. And I'm continuing down that path anyway. I do, like, I'm trying to think, like, what else can I tell you? Like, am I having flashbacks of, like, Kyle Cook and Wes, like, feeding me steak because my steak didn't arrive? Like, I'm the only one that. Her steak didn't fucking come. Of course that happens. And, like, literally, Kyle's like, here's a bite for my medium rare one. I'm like, then to us is feeding me heads. Like, literally, I'm having flashbacks of this night.
Host 2
Like, Dorinda, like, ordering a cab for her.
Amanda Hirsch
She couldn't see straight by the end of the night. It's just everything. Like, I just love these people. They're so fun. And it's like, what you see is what you Get. Anyway, that's on that. That's on that. We could probably keep talking about this more night forever or I can but segue into introducing my guests of the day.
Host 2
So my guest of today, Joey Kamasa, he's so fun.
Amanda Hirsch
If you guys don't know him, he's hilarious. He had a pot on barstool and I went on it a couple times and always he made me crack up.
Host 2
And for some reason when he was.
Amanda Hirsch
At barstool, like, he wasn't doing other stuff. And now that he's at a barstool, he's thriving. He's doing a lot of pods.
Host 2
He was just on the toast for.
Amanda Hirsch
Like a week straight. I'm pretty sure he's on my show today and he's just everywhere and I feel like he's having a moment and I'm so happy for him because he's so fun and great. He's BFFs with nookie and they have their own pod and that's also fun. But he really cracks me up. So you guys are really gonna enjoy this one.
Joey Kamasa
Well, I'm honored. I was. I was looking at the track record, the past. The past three guests. I was like, well, I'm a good.
Host 2
Were they good? Who was that fudgeing?
Joey Kamasa
Kris Jenner and Kyle McLaughlin and. And then fucking Anderson asked about your hair color.
Amanda Hirsch
I was like, I know she did.
Host 2
I know. That's why. By the way, isn't it so funny since she asked me. You know what's so funny? I'm so into smells. And that would be the first question I would ask, but I think I black out in the moment and I forget to sniff. Yeah, I didn't sniff anybody. I didn't sniff Jen, I didn't sniff Kim, I didn't sniff Chris. I, like, get so close to so many people and I'm not sniffing.
Joey Kamasa
I do not stutter.
Host 2
That's the thing I'm good at.
Joey Kamasa
You are so.
Amanda Hirsch
I'm so like.
Host 2
But you don't stutter. You had a lot of famous people.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, I don't, sir. I'm not. Because I'm nervous, but I just like. I talk so. And get excited.
Host 2
You talk.
Amanda Hirsch
You talk.
Host 2
So that's like how, like, people that know.
Amanda Hirsch
You would know.
Host 2
You're excited.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
Because you're like.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
So. Yeah. I wonder if it's like, are we on right now? Yeah. Oh, I wonder if it's like, you're like.
Joey Kamasa
I just like my stomach.
Host 2
I love you. You look great, by the way.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, thank you. I'M on. I'm on jar. What is it called? You know, the shots.
Host 2
You've been on it forever. Forever.
Joey Kamasa
That was the original.
Host 2
You were original, and you were original open about it.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. And I was getting hate mail, death threats because of their parents couldn't get their diabetes medicine. And I was, like, you know, flaunting my new blouse. It was like. It was. It was a tough time to be overweight and. Yeah. But now on something else. I'm on tricep. Or triz.
Host 2
Everyone's talking about that one now.
Joey Kamasa
Why.
Host 2
Why is that the new girl in.
Joey Kamasa
Town that makes you lose the weight the fastest? Like, and. But I'm not. I want to be nauseated, like, to the point where I can't eat. Like, if it's. That's how I know.
Host 2
Are you on the low dose?
Joey Kamasa
No, I'm in the highest dose possible.
Host 2
Shut the up.
Joey Kamasa
I worked my way up not to brag that I'm. I'm advanced, but.
Host 2
Okay, but does it make you sicker the higher you go?
Joey Kamasa
I think it's supposed to, but it's like. Like, the first couple days I did it, it worked. Like, I was, like, you know, gagging on my food. But now it's like, I took down, like, a T bone steak last night, and, like, no problem, Shellfish tower.
Host 2
So you think you, like, kind of get a tolerance to it?
Joey Kamasa
I think so, yeah. Like, I can eat my way out of it, like, quickly. So I'm waiting for the next FDA approved, you know, higher dose to come out. Yeah. Oh, last night, you looked amazing. Oh, thank you. Oh, my God, thank you. I didn't know where to look at City sweetie's boobs or you.
Amanda Hirsch
It was both, by the way.
Host 2
I'm such a pervert that when she came out, like, no, no, when I tell you, like, I. I wanted to post this, but I was told. I mean, I know I literally, like, zoomed in on her boobs.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
By the way, like, in the movie.
Joey Kamasa
On me, they were like, there.
Host 2
Her boobs are insane.
Amanda Hirsch
And I'm not, like, a beautiful guy.
Host 2
Like, I'm not like, boobs. I'm actually more of a. Like, give me Kendall Jenner in, like, a wife beater with no bra.
Amanda Hirsch
Like, yeah, that's my dream.
Joey Kamasa
Little rosebuds.
Host 2
Exactly. But when you see Sydney Sweeney's boobs, you want them.
Joey Kamasa
And it's.
Amanda Hirsch
It's.
Joey Kamasa
There's certain times when, like, big boobs in your face on the. On the right woman. It looks. It looks sexual. Like, you know, I'm Not. I'm not calling women out, but like, you know, Megan. Megan Fox, when if she had a revealing dress on, that's like a very sexual thing with. With her. I feel it's just. It's more like motherly. And I. I see.
Host 2
I see Sydney Sweeney.
Amanda Hirsch
It's a mother, not motherly.
Joey Kamasa
But I feel it's like more like girl next door.
Host 2
Girl next door vibes. Like, whoops, I didn't know I had these. Or like.
Joey Kamasa
Or like a painting from Italy. Like. Like some like, fancy Bonicelli painting. Like, it's like. Yeah, it's more like artistic. Or for me.
Host 2
Yeah, I got you. Like. I get what you're saying because they are also natural. So maybe that does have to do. Because I think Megan Foxes are implants.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
Yeah. So anyway, amazing boobs. If you guys want to watch the movie just for the boobs. Or Brandon's gilar.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, the cast is so hot.
Host 2
No, no. When I tell you the zoom ins on him.
Amanda Hirsch
His butt.
Host 2
Joey, never have I ever, and I swear, cared about a man's butt.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, I have.
Host 2
You have.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, yeah, unfortunately.
Host 2
Yeah, but like, do you like a.
Amanda Hirsch
Thick butt on the.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, yes. Like a fat ass.
Host 2
Oh, a fat ass. Yeah. No, when you see his ass, is it plump? Oh, my God, it is meaty.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, this is how they get to the box office. It's like, you know, I don't care what the plot is or who's in it. There's a fat ass.
Host 2
No, no, fat man ass. And I was like. Like, I think I screen. I screeched and imagine that fat man ass. Sydney Sweeney's boobs pressed.
Joey Kamasa
Were they making love?
Host 2
Hot ass sex.
Joey Kamasa
Ah, I have to see it.
Host 2
Yes. So, so sexual. So hot. And I need your review of Brandon Sklener. Can anyone say his name? Skilnars ass.
Joey Kamasa
I saw him on the red card, but I don't know who he was I haven't seen before. Anything else?
Host 2
Maybe.
Amanda Hirsch
What else does he have? He was.
Host 2
He's in 1923. He was in that movie with Megan Fahey.
Amanda Hirsch
He was in.
Host 2
Oh, and he was Atlas in the Blake Lively movie. It ends with us.
Joey Kamasa
Okay, okay. Now I remember.
Host 2
Anyway, did we introduce Joey?
Joey Kamasa
Hello.
Host 2
You're like, no, we didn't.
Joey Kamasa
This is my camera.
Host 2
This it? This is his tag at Joey Kamasta.
Joey Kamasa
That's me.
Host 2
Hi, babe.
Joey Kamasa
Thank you for having me. I haven't seen you in many moons.
Host 2
Many moons. Which is so dumb because aren't you Upper east side?
Joey Kamasa
I was.
Host 2
Are you moved?
Joey Kamasa
I'm a Nomad now.
Host 2
Okay. Why'd you move?
Joey Kamasa
Because I, I was, you know, I got, I needed a bigger place and I went, you know.
Host 2
Oh, he went big.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, yeah.
Host 2
He went bigger.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, bigger and better. Yeah. I was living in like a rat infested walk up first.
Host 2
Oh, you were?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. For many years. I stayed there. Okay. I slummed it. I had to humble myself.
Host 2
Wait, can I just say something?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
I didn't know how old you were.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, yeah. I mean, I could be a grandmother.
Host 2
People.
Joey Kamasa
I went to middle school with Kris Jenner. That's how she got, that's why I got involved, invited over here. Chris and I, she, she, we had the middle school.
Host 2
You are the best looking. 46.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, 46. I'll be 47 in a month. In three and two weeks. I know.
Host 2
What is the secret, my love?
Joey Kamasa
You know, I just, I just like, do lots of skin care. I mean, I fully had full. That's not what I, my, I tested you. I get full Botox and fillers like every, every three months. But like, nothing else.
Host 2
Something is keeping you very young. Do people tell you that, like, this is shocking to people probably to find out.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, I eat a lot of pickles, so I'm like, I'm pickled. Do you know what I mean? I eat a lot. I don't know. I think it's just because, you know, when you also keep a cup, like extra, like £25 on you, it puffs out things. It makes you look like, more youthful.
Host 2
Would you want to be, like, super, super skinny? Like, that's the goal.
Joey Kamasa
I don't be super skinny, but I want to just be like, you know, like, athletic. Yeah, I'm not gonna work out or anything, but it's like, I don't want to, like.
Host 2
Wait, you're, you refuse to work out?
Joey Kamasa
No, I don't refuse to, but I, I don't need to, like, have muscles. Like, I just want, I just want clothes to fit me really nicely and I want to be able to like, take. Wear a bathing suit, not, like, worry about if I, like, if I'm jiggling everywhere.
Host 2
Yeah, well, you're on your way to that.
Joey Kamasa
I feel like I am.
Host 2
You're very much.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, I had, I had liposuction years ago, and then like, I, you know, I, I, I blew up again, like a wood tick.
Host 2
Wait, liposuction sucks out the fat?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
And then so it's reversible. It's not like a thing that it's.
Joey Kamasa
Not like they can grow back. Yeah, yeah.
Host 2
Okay.
Joey Kamasa
Trust me.
Host 2
You've done it. You did it everywhere.
Joey Kamasa
I did a 360 and I had my tits done because I had. I had. I had male breasts. I've been. I. I've been through a lot. And back. Back when. Back in the 20s when I was born, they didn't have a. You know, there wasn't an option. And I had scurvy at the time. So.
Host 2
Wait, you, like, was a time traveler? Is it.
Joey Kamasa
I'm Blake Livey and. And that. And that woman. That movie.
Host 2
First of all, you're a time traveler. I can't with you. You crack me up. I first met Joey. What year do you think it was that I came on? Your 20?
Joey Kamasa
22, maybe.
Host 2
I think it was earlier than that, maybe. Since when do you have the pod? When. When did you start that pod?
Joey Kamasa
Like, 21.
Host 2
Really?
Amanda Hirsch
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
So it must have been right around there. But.
Host 2
What's the tea? What's the tea? It was so good.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. Anymore.
Host 2
But why?
Joey Kamasa
Well, I was at Barstool, and they were. They do contracts, so my contract was up, and I just feel.
Host 2
It was like a PR answer.
Joey Kamasa
No, that's what it was.
Host 2
Okay.
Joey Kamasa
That was what it was. And then, you know, I just kind of, like, I was. I was. I kind of moved on from it. I wasn't like, you know, it wasn't.
Host 2
You weren't feeling it?
Joey Kamasa
I wasn't feeling it anymore.
Host 2
Really? Yeah.
Amanda Hirsch
What about it?
Joey Kamasa
Just. I don't know. I just wasn't like, excited about, like, the. The content and just kind of the vibe there was kind of, like, you know, not exciting. I feel like I did everything I was there that I could do, and I feel like if I was. If I stayed, you know, it was going to kind of hold me back, like, from. What I really want to be doing was just more, like, cooking and, like, home things and.
Host 2
Why do you have, like, limitations when you're there?
Joey Kamasa
You don't, but it's just, like, not the. It's not the same. Like, no one. It's like, if no one else is really doing it, it doesn't. It's, like, not conducive to, like, the peers, like, the people, like, I want to be mixing and mingling with, you know, with the wishbone kitchens and, you know, the people that are doing, like, the, you know, the home decorating and, like, that kind of space. And I feel like I was, like, the only one there. So it wasn't like. There wasn't, like, room for me to grow into that space.
Host 2
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
In that I Mean comedy. It's a. More of a comedy place there, which I. I still. I still dabble in.
Host 2
Yeah, but you want to be like a. You want to be Wishbone Kitchen.
Joey Kamasa
Well, I want to be Martha Stewart.
Host 2
Martha Stewart.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. Or a garden or.
Host 2
I would love to have a turkey air fryer.
Joey Kamasa
Yes. I would like to have a lifestyle line. Like, you know, I want. Stop. You know, Stob x Joey Kamasa collabs and, you know, things like that. I love doing cooking and tablescapes and, you know, little gifts and, you know, decorating.
Host 2
Was this a hard decision?
Joey Kamasa
No.
Host 2
No, it was easy.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
Like, it came up and you're like.
Amanda Hirsch
I'm ready to go.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
Are you in touch with Patrick?
Joey Kamasa
Not really.
Host 2
Like, you were friends just for the pod?
Joey Kamasa
Kind of.
Amanda Hirsch
Yeah. Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
But it wasn't a bad thing. I mean, we weren't. We weren't really social outside. It was, you know, we were. We were friendly, you know, you know, acquaintances, but, like, we weren't like, really best friends.
Host 2
What was it like working there? Whenever I came there, I was like. Like, I was trying to get the vibes of this place that's, like, notorious for things and has such a. Such a name for itself in so many different ways.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. I'd come in and be like, like.
Amanda Hirsch
They'Re the bros, right? It's basically all bros.
Joey Kamasa
It's an interesting thing because, like, on, like, outside and what it really is, everyone is really friendly and very close and very family oriented and very friendly. But that's, like the unspoken, like, thing that I noticed there, which is kind of strange, is, like, everyone is so terrified and competitive under, like, but like, without saying it. So they're all comparing themselves to whose show is doing better, who's.
Host 2
Who's right between yourselves.
Joey Kamasa
Even just. Even, like, everyone is just terrified, like, at all times. Like, on edge. Like this. Today I get fired. This day, lose it all. It was an icky feeling for me.
Host 2
Yeah. And also I feel like between you, I'm, like, competitive.
Joey Kamasa
It's like I know what I have, and it's like, I do it, but I kind of got roped into a dark place there where I felt, like, questioning myself and questioning if I'm good enough and comparing myself and it just. It got to, like, feel icky.
Host 2
I felt that with bars. So, like, when I would come, I would do, like, like, your podcast, and.
Amanda Hirsch
Then they would be like, wait, why.
Joey Kamasa
Are you doing there?
Host 2
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I was like, oh, my God. Like, you guys don't even, like, go on each other. Is within the barstool community.
Joey Kamasa
Like, very competitive. Very competitive and very kind of like unspoken things. Like, you know, people, like, there's obviously bigger brands. Like, the chicks in the office are huge. It's like, so everyone knows who the bigger people are. But it's like, you know, there's a, an unspoken, like, dark tone of it. Like competitiveness, which I thought was kind of.
Amanda Hirsch
Which is in your pudding.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. So I'm just like, that's never been my thing. I don't really care. I'm not. I don't compare myself to anyone.
Host 2
Like, you're happy for other people's success.
Joey Kamasa
Well, and also everyone knows they can never have what I have. So it's like, it's true. You know, everyone has something that no one else has. And I know what I have and I'm comfortable with that.
Host 2
No one else can be you.
Joey Kamasa
You know who said that to me once? And like, I. There was this clip, Chelsea Handler, she did this thing for like Elle magazine years ago. It's called My Turn. And I watch it every, like, every time, like needing some inspiration. And she basically says, like, when she was like, starting out in stand up comedy and like someone else did a showcase and her friend that she told her she had to get into comedy, got picked up an agency and she didn't. She was like, she had to remember herself like, what I. What you have, no one else has. And so like, you know, there's room for everyone and like, you know, no, there's. No two people are alike, so you can't compare yourself to anyone.
Host 2
So true.
Joey Kamasa
Stuck with me.
Host 2
That's one of the truest. Like, most like, mundane, but things that you actually have to remind yourself every day, especially in this industry.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
Adjacent, whatever it is, is like comparison is the thief of joy. And if you compare yourself to other people or think that because other people are doing what you want to do or what you are doing, that that means that you can't do it or you need to. No, no, no, no, no. Like, even, you know, it helps me because I'm so basic and dumb and.
Amanda Hirsch
Like, care only about pop culture and.
Host 2
Movies and celebs is like, how many actors are there? You know, how many actors are going for the same role? You know? And are there days that Jennifer Lawrence is upset because Emma Stone got her role? You know, or other actors that we think are huge, that you're like, you're such a star. You know, when Britney Snow was on my show, I was like. And she was like, to her, she was like, nothing compared to, like, a.
Amanda Hirsch
Lindsay Lohan, you know, Crazy when you.
Joey Kamasa
Mean, you know, you and I get to the chance to do this a lot in our careers. Like, you meet these people and, like. And it's like some, like, a big star is being insecure. Like, it's like, almost like we don't give them that permission to have that because, like, you're not allowed to not feel your best. You know, you're not allowed to, like, be insecure. You're Jennifer Aniston or whoever it is. Like, we don't. We don't give them that grace to be able to be. But it's a crazy thing to hear. Like, you're insecure. You have the hottest body. You're a billionaire. Like, what are you insane? What are you doing?
Host 2
Yeah, what are you doing? Wait, so when you left Barstool. Yeah. Which is how many months ago?
Joey Kamasa
It was in June. June.
Host 2
Do you feel like it's been, like. Like good things have been happening?
Joey Kamasa
Kind of, yeah. I mean, it's starting to start. Pick up now, but, like, I was kind of like, I was dormant for a while, just, like, not doing anything. I don't know what. I didn't know where my next step was. Like, I didn't want to just, like, jump into another podcast. I mean, you know, I saw my podcast me. Nicole, have Sookie have a podcast that we do every Friday.
Host 2
Is she scared you're going to bail on her?
Joey Kamasa
No, no, we're still. We're still going strong. I mean, we're trying, like, to, like, trying to evolve it and, like, you know, grow it bigger now.
Amanda Hirsch
Amazing.
Joey Kamasa
But, yeah, So I wasn't sure if I want to.
Host 2
Do you guys do live shows?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, we.
Host 2
Okay.
Joey Kamasa
But she's so hard. Like, it's locked down. She has, like, 12 kids and, like, 15.
Host 2
How many kids does she really have?
Joey Kamasa
She has three kids and she has five stores. And she has a cheerleading daughter that, like, every day there's. There's a competition.
Host 2
Wait, are you filled in on all this?
Joey Kamasa
On what?
Host 2
Unlike the cheerleading. Like, she fills you in. Yes. And you care.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, no, of course.
Host 2
You're like, what? We're in. When's the competition?
Joey Kamasa
I don't care anymore because it's been. It's going on for years, and it's ruining our lives. Not ruining our lives. I was joking. I said I was going to hide. Hide alcohol, nurses, and her daughter's cheer bag so that she'd get thrown off the team because she's. I mean. I mean, good for these Kids, but these kids for people, for moms that are in cheer moms. Yeah, they are. It's like, I guess same thing as dance moms. This is a 2012 month thing. It's like every week there's a friggin a thing and a practice in a who knows competition. They're all flying all over the world.
Host 2
Wait, how did you meet Snooki? You were her makeup artist?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, her makeup artist. Many moons ago. Like 15 years ago.
Host 2
That's what you were doing at the time?
Joey Kamasa
I was a makeup artist. Yeah, I was a big makeup artist doing, you know, like fashion. I was, I was in the fashion scene. I was study it.
Host 2
Did you learn it? Did you?
Joey Kamasa
I. Yeah, I know.
Host 2
Like what do you do? Do you go to go to school for it?
Joey Kamasa
I went to cosmetology school. Like, like in, like in high school. But I was. You know, when you're gay, you're assigned either hairdresser, interior designer, or, you know, only fans. Model. Yeah, makeup. So I chose makeup and interior design. I. So I. Yeah, so I just went to cosmetology school and I was. I was at Mac Cosmetics for a while and I worked my way up there. And yeah, I was doing like all like, you know, celebrities and fashion shows and music stars and stuff. Music stars?
Host 2
Which music stars?
Joey Kamasa
Like I was on tour. Kanye West.
Host 2
You were doing Kanye?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. When? Before. He was like wild. It was, it was a college dropout tour I was doing.
Host 2
What were you doing? Like him.
Joey Kamasa
I just, I used to, I just laid his things out. Like he didn't. I never had to like physically touch his face. I just had to get his station ready and have like that. He wanted a black towel. He wanted like Burt's Bees, Chapstick. He wanted like a bottle of Hennessy and like all these things. So I had to have his. His stuff. But he had.
Host 2
What does that have to do with doing makeup though?
Joey Kamasa
Well, because I would have his like all his grooming things that he would need for him. But he had this orchestra at the time of women behind him, like a 40 piece orchestra of women. And every show he wanted to have a different elaborate mask and face paint on them. So I was doing those. Those chicks.
Host 2
Well, that's insane for everybody.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, a whole team of us that did it.
Host 2
When did you do Snooki?
Joey Kamasa
That was like after I did her afterwards. Like closer.
Host 2
Just randomly for an event.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, it was like a. She was hosting a show. Hosting a reality show competition that I was on. It was like a makeup competition that we did Every year for Mac Cosmetics, it was like a Halloween makeup competition. And I did it. I like won it every year. So this is like the fourth year doing it. So this year Snooki was hosting it. So they asked me to do her makeup for. As I was competing for my. My title again, I won again. And. And so that's why I met her. And then she was. She was like. She came in, do you know, like Peanuts, the cartoon Snoopy with that. That messy rugrat one that flies in riff raff, I think his name is. And it has just like smoke and like dirt around him and like garbage. Well, she came in like bad out of hell at like 7 in the morning. She was coming from a, like a tanning convention somewhere. She's just flown in. There's like hair extensions and like cigarette smoke and like, you know, perfume. She was like a big mess. And she was still like hungover, like drunk and hungover. So she asked if I take shots with her at 7am and she had like vodka in her purse. I said I was like, yes. So we started taking shots and like sneaking drinks on set. And then. Yeah.
Host 2
Became best friends.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
Since then.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, we hit the ground running.
Host 2
Did you ever like. Was she ever like, come on Jersey Shore with me?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, I've been. I've done it a bunch.
Host 2
You've done a bunch?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. Yeah. And then we had a spin off. She had a spin off show called Snooky and jbo. So I was on that every season, like doing.
Host 2
Do you compete with JWoww over Snooki's attention?
Joey Kamasa
Not very much, I think. I think there's. Everyone in her life has like, kind of knows their role and they, they. It's. It's kind of like between her friends at home and then like me and then her friends from, you know, from the show, roommates and stuff. I think everyone kind of knows, but we all secretly are jealous of like, each other's attention though.
Host 2
We'll be right back after the break.
Amanda Hirsch

Host 2
First of all, I'm not a tampon girl.
Amanda Hirsch
Like I've never been a tampon girl. I know that's wild. But I haven't been. And we're back. Where did you grow up?
Joey Kamasa
I grew up in New Jersey.
Amanda Hirsch
Oh, what? Where?
Joey Kamasa
Union, New Jersey.
Host 2
Okay. I could. I recognize the sign. Yeah, like, that's a big sign.
Amanda Hirsch
The union.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Host 2
How far is it from the city?
Joey Kamasa
Like, like half hour, 40 minutes.
Host 2
Okay.
Joey Kamasa
Depending on. Yeah, My father still lives there, but I moved here, you know, in my.
Host 2
20S and haven't left since.
Joey Kamasa
I haven't looked back.
Host 2
Did you ever wanna. Did you always wanna kind of be famous?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, always.
Amanda Hirsch
Always.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, I used to, like, turn, like, have at dinner parties. Like, like, everyone, showtime's in 25 minutes. Everyone get ready. And I do performances and like, pretend to have radio shows. Like I. For a tape recorder. And I got like, a red light bulb from the shop, right? And I put a lamp outside. That means I was recording. No, it don't come in. And I was like, just like, talking to the. So the recorder stop. Yeah.
Host 2
So did your parents, like, support this? Yeah, they try to help you, like, figure out.
Amanda Hirsch
Well, everyone.
Joey Kamasa
Like, the thing was, it was like I was doing. I want. I know how I wanted to get involved in it. Like, I was. I really just wanted to be in the scene, like, doing makeup and stuff and, like, being. Being around the celebrities. But then I quickly, you know, that was enough. Enough dopamine for me. I was like, you know, then I was like, oh, I'm not. I'm not. I'm not the help. I was like, get me. I'm in front of the camera now.
Host 2
Yeah, right.
Joey Kamasa
So it's like, it became like, quickly that I was like, you know, it's like once you get a little taste of, you know, cameras on air time, right?
Host 2
You want. You're like.
Joey Kamasa
But for a while it was. It was. Yeah, it was. It was like. It was hard for me to have. To always be like, you know, behind the scenes when I thought I wanted to be the star. So my. That's what I remember. It's called Joey, get out of the shot. My. It's my life. Living in the shadow of Snooki's poof. That's my book. Don't. It's. It's trademarked, so don't try Queens.
Host 2
Wait. Joey, get out of my shot.
Amanda Hirsch
Is that not Hershey?
Joey Kamasa
No, the. The production Team. But I like Joey, get out of the shot. Like, they always would say that. Always be trying to, like, get in the camera. So that's like, you know, that's been my memoir.
Amanda Hirsch
But.
Host 2
But if you knew that from when you were young that you're like, putting the light bulb outside, like, then why did you think you could handle being behind the scenes?
Joey Kamasa
Because I just thought just being like, you know, part of it, being at Fashion Weekend, doing like, you know, like. Like real models, makeup and doing real designs and, like, gotcha. Being doing tv, having my makeup on tv or just being around a set or like, on. Near a microphone or something.
Host 2
Yeah, that. That would give you, like, enough of that world.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
You know, it's when I. Because I.
Amanda Hirsch
He.
Host 2
I think it's this. I think when you know, you want to be in this industry in some.
Amanda Hirsch
Way, but you don't know exactly how.
Host 2
Then there's that, you know, thing in you that's like, maybe I'll be fine, like, being in production or being. I was the same way. I was, like, applying to be, like, a producer on shows, and I'm like, okay, you know, like, what do you. What do you think? You know, I thought too, like, maybe I'll just be behind the scenes and, you know, I'll. I'll rub elbows and all this and all that, and. And then you realize, like, no, that.
Joey Kamasa
Would have never had a similar trajectory. You were acting and then. Well, you.
Amanda Hirsch
Not really.
Joey Kamasa
Well, you were a big actress in Israel.
Host 2
Israel, yeah, I was here.
Joey Kamasa
Were you a commercial actress?
Host 2
I was a commercial. No, I had one. I did one show too, but. But it was funny because in Israel at the time I was applying for jobs all in tv. Like, all I want to do is work in tv, but, like, behind the scenes, no one would give me. It's so hard, by the way. It's even hard to get a job. Like, it's. It's hard to make it in this industry as yourself, obviously, but it's as hard, if not harder to, like, work in it, you know? Like, people make no money in that because everyone knows. Knows it's cool. You know what I mean? You'll make no money if you work.
Amanda Hirsch
If you start out in those company media companies.
Host 2
What I'm saying is it's not random or. Or weird that you, you know, tried and thought maybe I could be the help, because I think it makes sense when you, like, you know, you want to be part of this world, but you don't know what way. And who knew podcasts and who knew.
Amanda Hirsch
Social media and who does mess you.
Joey Kamasa
Up a little bit? So when I. So when I do. I do take jobs here and there now, doing makeup and then to be like, not that I'm ever treated bad on set, but you're treated completely. Your name is on talent on the roster.
Host 2
Oh, you'll still do makeup sometimes I will.
Joey Kamasa
And it's like, you know, and I. I feel like, you know, like, oh, like. And then we're with other, like, the other, like, hair makeup artists. It's like, I don't. Like, I just feel like I'm at a place.
Amanda Hirsch
It's like.
Joey Kamasa
Like, I'm like, I'm imposter. Like, hiding out.
Host 2
Like, you're, like, sitting with them and you're like, I know this must feel weird.
Joey Kamasa
And then I'm doing cameos on my lunch break. Like, you know.
Host 2
Hey, guys, Wait, are you on Cameo?
Amanda Hirsch
Yes.
Joey Kamasa
Book me now. No, I need Christmas presents.
Host 2
Oh, my God. By the way, book Joey, because I am sure.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, there was.
Host 2
It would be hysterical. I love finding out about.
Amanda Hirsch
Celebs are on Cameo.
Host 2
You know, like, I just saw, like, you remember. No, no, I'm talking about real celebs. They are like, I just saw, like, remember Dermot Mulroney?
Joey Kamasa
Yes.
Host 2
Is your age?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, yeah. We were in middle school together as well.
Host 2
He is on there and he's like, book me for Cameo. I'm like, literally, it's my birthday, May 31st. Somebody gets.
Joey Kamasa
I have a cell going on right now as well for the holidays. 20% off. Go to cameo.com joey command.
Host 2
They get you with that? Yeah, they're like, promote it. You know who kills me on Cameo? To Tom Sandoval.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, yeah.
Host 2
He does cameos up the wazoo.
Joey Kamasa
Wazoo.
Host 2
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
I was bad, though. So I was like, I was getting booked a lot at a point in time in my life, and I let. And I didn't realize the number, but, like, I let Sony go. Like, expired. Guess how many. I guess how much money expired that was. I have on my cameos. 3,000, $10,000.
Host 2
You're lying to me. No. You're lying to me.
Joey Kamasa
No. I swear to God. And I was like. I was like, why?
Host 2
Where were you?
Joey Kamasa
I just wasn't. I was, you know, if I was depressed, I was in. I was in the right cocktail at one time, and I was like, just depressed. And if I was in the right mood, I was. I wouldn't do them. But now.
Host 2
Are you trying to message them back? Be like, rebook me?
Joey Kamasa
I did now. Yeah. Because I need the funds, but I'm trying to get back to Paris. But. Yeah, So I. I can't believe I did that, though.
Host 2
That you let 11K go?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Amanda Hirsch
That is a lot of cameos, though.
Host 2
Do you like making them?
Joey Kamasa
I love making them.
Host 2
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
They're fun. Yeah. Yeah. And I. I do. I. I put the extra mile in. I like, you know, really get involved.
Host 2
That's important. People are paying for that. You know what I mean?
Joey Kamasa
Do you ever see them?
Host 2
What's your. What's your fee?
Joey Kamasa
It's on sale right now for 160.
Host 2
Okay. That's expensive.
Amanda Hirsch
Joey.
Joey Kamasa
I'm a celebrity. I'm talent.
Host 2
Wait, what is it? Without the sale? 200.
Joey Kamasa
200? Yeah.
Host 2
Wait, that is insane. Dermot Mulroney charges way less.
Joey Kamasa
How much does he charge? I don't know, but he doesn't have the panache that I have, Mama.
Host 2
He does not. I'm sure yours is better.
Joey Kamasa
The gift of gab, girl.
Host 2
Speaking of celebs.
Joey Kamasa
What your viewers are like, who is this? Like, get her off the screen.
Host 2
Who is the biggest celeb you had on. At your. On your shows?
Joey Kamasa
At the podcast shows?
Host 2
Yeah. No, your TV shows.
Joey Kamasa
I don't even know. Maybe like Lady Gaga. I'm kidding. She was not.
Host 2
You had. You had big people on. We did.
Joey Kamasa
I'm trying to think now.
Host 2
I remember there was someone. I was like, oh, nice.
Joey Kamasa
Who did.
Host 2
I love that game?
Joey Kamasa
Nikki Glaser. She was pretty big.
Host 2
Nikki Glazer is huge.
Amanda Hirsch
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
Jeffree star.
Host 2
I saw he's doing interviews now, too. What do you think of everything that he says?
Joey Kamasa
I love him. Yeah, I do.
Amanda Hirsch
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
I mean, I think it's like. It's neat. Like, everyone is as far as the community goes. If he's talking about, like, you know, being like, you know, a shape shifter, like, you know, dressing in a different gender, whatever. I think he, like, addresses, like, everything as everyone's thinking it. You know what I mean? It's a test. It's a touchy subject. He's like. He's like, talking about, like, non. I think he talks about politics and, like, non binary things. I think he says what's on his mind. I think everyone's entitled to their opinion. It's like, you know, so who keeps it real with everything?
Host 2
He, like, he's saying what he truly.
Joey Kamasa
But he feels. Yeah. It's not for everyone, but. It's not for everyone. It's not what I particularly believe it.
Host 2
Or whatever, but it's like, you know what your attitude is. I wish the Internet had your attitude.
Amanda Hirsch
Of like, that's what that person feels.
Host 2
Yes. And that's what I see.
Joey Kamasa
People getting so worked up over things like, of differences. Whether it's in anything of, you know, politics or. Or, you know, jobs or music people or like, whatever it is. Like it's like, you know, barbs or barbs or. Or whoever the. The rap battles, whatever it is. Like people invested that much in something. I just take. I was come. The barbs came after me once when I said something off colored about. About Nicki Minaj.
Host 2
What did you say about Nicki Minaj?
Joey Kamasa
I just like, I just like, you know, said something that she was like, I don't know, that I didn't like her or something. Or like, you know, comparing her to like Cardi B. And like, you know, there's death threats.
Amanda Hirsch
Death threats.
Joey Kamasa
Death threats.
Host 2
Like we're gonna kill you.
Joey Kamasa
No, but like, you know, like, you know, you know, like spamming my. My comment section. But like there's nothing that I am that invested in or like care that much about that I would like, you know.
Host 2
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
Get worked up for like cause or.
Host 2
Like, wait, there's not like a hill that you die on?
Joey Kamasa
I mean maybe food related, but nothing. No.
Host 2
We toe. What was your. What will you also go on like red carpets? You go to.
Joey Kamasa
I do not tonight. What am.
Host 2
I remember you were at the VMAs. We were. Ma'.
Joey Kamasa
Am.
Host 2
We didn't get to see each other.
Joey Kamasa
I know. Yeah, that's right. I do. I love doing a red carpet. You know, I'm like. They say like, I'll show up to opening of an envelope. So. But that's kind of. That's how your good friend Kim Kardashian made it. Made.
Host 2
It's very true.
Joey Kamasa
I mean, I also. Any, any. Any press is good press.
Host 2
Who would you freak out if you saw?
Joey Kamasa
I mean, freak out.
Host 2
Come up to them be like, I'm a huge.
Joey Kamasa
I mean I. You know how we are in these and they say I'm not. Not being goofy. But like, yeah, we see all these a list all the time. I mean the only one I would like really freak out about would probably be like Britney Orson twin or an Olsen twin.
Host 2
I saw wild. Wait, I feel like I didn't talk about this enough. I mean, there's nothing much to say.
Amanda Hirsch
But I was at corner store at.
Host 2
The US Open and all of a sudden it's like walks by me. What I thought was Mary Kay. I didn't. And I thought I did. I was like, it's Mary Kate.
Amanda Hirsch
I know it.
Joey Kamasa
And the bohemian one's usually the Mary Kate.
Host 2
That's what I thought because she had pashmina scarf. But it wasn't.
Amanda Hirsch
It was Ashley. Oh.
Host 2
And then it was in the press next day. And I was like, oh, my God. I open. And I didn't have a moment to freak out because you know how you said, like, you would have freaked out, but it's like, it was just like, oh, it's. You know.
Amanda Hirsch
And that was.
Joey Kamasa
They wouldn't say hi to me anyway. I had a dream that I was friends with them.
Host 2
Do you think they'd be fun to be friends with?
Joey Kamasa
I think in the intercourse circle, yes, I think they would be fun. And they smoke cigarettes. So there's definitely, like, cool it.
Host 2
For sure. By the way, I just want to say, like, I really feel like I'm at the forefront of the cigarette era, and a lot of people are hopping on. And I don't appreciate, like, a girl that doesn't smoke having a picture of a cigarette in her carousel.
Amanda Hirsch
Yeah.
Host 2
Like, I think, like, well, I drink.
Joey Kamasa
I'd like drunk six. And I just got back from Paris, so I was there. Were you smoking up like a chimney? That's like my favorite thing. I didn't even. I didn't even. Like, I enjoy it when I'm there, but, like, when I come home, it's like, you know, if I look at cigarette. Unless I'm like, bombed. Yeah, I'll have drunk cigarettes. But it's like, it's just part of my personality there. That's why these loafers on from Paris? No, they're. They're from. From Amazon.
Host 2
But still, there's something about a cigarette. Not here. That is just so much better. It's so chic, perched in a cafe. Like, what is that?
Joey Kamasa
I just think it's like, it's like you see people doing bad behavior. Like, you see bad behaviors being, like, idolized. Like, in Paris. It's like a chic thing to do. So you feel like, you know, was everyone smoking? Everyone?
Host 2
Yeah.
Amanda Hirsch
The children, by the way.
Host 2
Maybe it's.
Amanda Hirsch
It's not bad for you.
Joey Kamasa
It's not bad if you do it in Paris.
Host 2
Like, in Paris, it's actually not.
Joey Kamasa
It's. Yeah, it's considered good banners.
Host 2
Okay. I wanted to ask you some other questions, like, what's going on? Trend. Trend alert. Have you seen about the grocery store? Meadow, Lane and Tray?
Joey Kamasa
I did, and I'm annoyed that I. Because I can't. Not that again. I just, like, you can go. I can Go. But I'm not waiting on a line.
Host 2
Do you think they'll be on a line at any time?
Joey Kamasa
I'm sure there's gonna be a big line. That's another thing. I mean, if getting recognized, a zealous celebrity. Getting recognized or not, it's like, you know, you feel even more like a loser. Like, oh, loser. You couldn't get on the PR list, so that's why I won't go.
Host 2
You couldn't get on the PR list? I am.
Joey Kamasa
Did you get invited?
Amanda Hirsch
I.
Host 2
To the friends and family? Yeah. I didn't know about this thing. I don't think I'm in the food space, you know? Yeah, I don't think I am.
Joey Kamasa
I'm excited to see it. Like, I, I would go, but I'm not. I, I.
Host 2
The salads look good. That's the only reason down to, like, there is no line.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. Yeah, I think. And also, it's like, if I go there, it's like my, by the time I get into the store, like, I'm gonna, My whole, like, vibe is going to change. Like, I'm not gonna, like, you're gonna.
Host 2
Be in a bad mood. Yeah. Waiting on line would automatically put me in a bad mood.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
But, like, there's something about Americans that loves to stand on a line.
Joey Kamasa
Well, that's a New York state.
Host 2
It's a New York thing.
Joey Kamasa
I never got into that. Like, I don't even know what the hell they're doing, like, for sneezing. Like, I'll see and you'll see. Not, not to call people out, but you'll see some, like, store or whatever. And then the people that are waiting on the line look like you would never even imagine. Like, there's like this high fashion, like, like couture, Parisian couture, clothes. And then there's like, these, like, people that look like. Girl, you can't even, they don't even make your size in there. Like, what are you doing on this, this line? It's like the most random crew of people and just, just, I feel like they wait to wait, but.
Host 2
Or it's the other way where, like, it's like this bakery, but, like, it's not even that good. And you're like, why are you waiting? Yeah, this isn't worth it for you.
Joey Kamasa
A cookie? Croissant.
Host 2
Cookie, yeah. Get another cookie.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
You know, so I agree with you about, you know, not wanting to wait in the line, but if there was no line, then I would go, oh, yeah, for sure. And, like, spend the money.
Amanda Hirsch
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
That's like. Like my version of that. Is the ground swamp farms in Hampton. So, like, I love.
Host 2
Oh, you love the ham tent. Do you have a place out there?
Joey Kamasa
No, I just. I just go and stay with friends.
Host 2
Oh, you're a couch crasher.
Joey Kamasa
No, like, rent houses.
Host 2
Oh, you'll rent house. You'll do like, share houses.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, share houses.
Host 2
Just like the summer house folk. Yeah. Well, I saw that you said that.
Amanda Hirsch
You would go on.
Joey Kamasa
I would love to come. House.
Host 2
Yeah. Everyone. Are you casting? Have they had a. A gay cast member?
Joey Kamasa
They haven't. I think that's. I should start bringing that up.
Amanda Hirsch
You should.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
Shame.
Joey Kamasa
That'll get me. And shame them. Shame on you.
Host 2
Shame on you.
Joey Kamasa
Love the Hamptons too.
Host 2
Who.
Joey Kamasa
Who do you think makes the pages? Pretty much a gay guy, so it's like the same thing. But now she's gone, so I can take her spot.
Host 2
Yeah.
Amanda Hirsch
Are we really.
Host 2
Is that.
Joey Kamasa
Are.
Host 2
Are we manifesting that?
Joey Kamasa
I'm manifesting. Maybe I'll text that West Wilson.
Host 2
I feel like that's a good angle.
Joey Kamasa
Be a friend of. Do they do friend of at the storehouse?
Host 2
Are you friends with, like, Jersey people? Marco Joseph's like, are you friends with those people?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. Marco Joseph and who's also friends with Gorgas. I'm friends with the girls. I'll do dinner parties.
Host 2
By the way, I saw Gorgas last night at the. The premiere.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, were they there? They go to lots of premieres.
Host 2
They are so funny. Yeah, they're fun.
Joey Kamasa
A couple. Fun couple.
Host 2
I want to be invited to dinner parties.
Joey Kamasa
We went to dinners at their house.
Host 2
Yeah, so.
Joey Kamasa
And I'm friends with. I recently became friends with the winner of War Games. Gia. Jiu Diche GMRI Jujiche.
Host 2
The War Game.
Joey Kamasa
What was game?
Host 2
Was she on Special Forces?
Joey Kamasa
We've been mingling in the scene.
Host 2
Wait, where are you mingling with Gia?
Joey Kamasa
At the influencer events. I think it was like. Like some. Like.
Host 2
You're killing me. I can't.
Joey Kamasa
There's photos of us on the Internet.
Host 2
No.
Joey Kamasa
Stop rubbing elbows.
Host 2
Did you vibe?
Joey Kamasa
We vibe here. We hang out while we're there and like, you know, we could walk around and get little cocktails together, take pictures. It's fun. And she's. She's doing great.
Host 2
It's so funny to me that you're now like that. You're like, living professional influencer life. I know, but I love it. It's like a new era. Yeah, but you're, like, owning it. You're leaning into joy.
Joey Kamasa
This is what I feel most comfortable doing because I'm being myself and I'm just genuinely, you know.
Host 2
That's so fun.
Joey Kamasa
Helping. Helping a big, big pharma out.
Host 2
Wait, how's the boyfriend?
Joey Kamasa
So good.
Host 2
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. Billy. Billy.
Amanda Hirsch
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
We were in Paris together. We went there and we had the best time.
Host 2
How long have you been together?
Joey Kamasa
It'll be. It was three years in August. I know.
Host 2
And is there gonna be like.
Joey Kamasa
Not yet.
Host 2
Ring a ding?
Amanda Hirsch
Not yet.
Host 2
No.
Joey Kamasa
He's very young still. So how old is he? He's 26.
Host 2
Oh, my God, He's a baby. Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
We're going to that Christmas tree lighting tonight. What is that, Rockefeller Center?
Host 2
Is that another influencer event?
Joey Kamasa
I guess so.
Amanda Hirsch
Yeah. They invited me.
Host 2
I am obsessed, Joey.
Joey Kamasa
I know. Well, I talked about. I was on. I was on the morning. On the toast.
Amanda Hirsch
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
Yesterday I said, I want to get. I want to go to that thing. And then Rockefeller Center DM'd me like an hour later.
Host 2
Wait, I love this life. Like, you could just put it out there and somebody's listening.
Joey Kamasa
Yes.
Host 2
Wait, so they let. They put up the tree tomorrow? What, are they late?
Joey Kamasa
It's tonight or tomorrow. When is this air? I don't even know.
Host 2
I don't. Oh, no, I don't know.
Joey Kamasa
Whatever. Yeah, it comes up tonight. Yeah, they. So it's like, you know, and people. There's performances.
Host 2
Oh, who's performing?
Joey Kamasa
Gwen Stefani's working. Michael Buble, of course.
Host 2
Holly Bali.
Joey Kamasa
Gwen Stefani.
Host 2
Exciting.
Joey Kamasa
Got us little outfits today. I went perusing up on. Yeah, well, he has great style. Yeah, we. I inspire. He inspires me a lot with all his fashions. But, yeah, I was just. I was just, you know, on the strip, just shopping. So I was cute looking. So I wanted cute, like festive outfits, a little. Little red something. So I picked us up some, you know, dads.
Host 2
Where'd you meet?
Joey Kamasa
We met at a bar at Salante Salante on the Bowery. It's like some Irish pub you.
Host 2
So not a gay bar?
Joey Kamasa
Not a gay bar.
Host 2
No, just, like, at a bar.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
Who approached who?
Joey Kamasa
I approached him and I. I gave him a compliment.
Host 2
What'd you say?
Joey Kamasa
I said, you got a fat ass.
Host 2
No, you didn't. Does he?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. So I. And then we just started, you know, becoming goofy and flirting and, like, hanging out that night. And then. Yeah. And then we just hit the ground running. That's the thing. That's the thing with me. It's like, you know. You know, immediately if, like, if we with each other.
Host 2
It's so Refreshing to hear people meet irl. Like, that doesn't happen anymore.
Joey Kamasa
I know. Excuse. Not excuse me, but it's like, it's the way of the world, but it's like I have trust issues and, like. And I feel like. I don't know, it's not for me.
Host 2
To, like, meet on the Internet. Yeah. I feel like you weren't doing that before. Before you met Billy? No. You were meeting in person?
Joey Kamasa
No, I wasn't really dating. I was just kind of, like, for years.
Host 2
So what were you doing at this Irish pub?
Joey Kamasa
It was.
Host 2
We were.
Joey Kamasa
We were at. We were at, like, a work party for the end of summer. Work party. And, like, it was like, everyone's just kind of. Me. Everyone's going there afterward.
Host 2
Oh, like a bar stool thing?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. Huh. So everyone's kind of going. But they, like, had a tab there afterwards. We all kind of went there.
Host 2
He happened to be there.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. Because it's like, roommates. Like, brother was a bartender there, so they always used to hang out there. Yeah.
Host 2
And you could. You spotted that he's, like, into men.
Joey Kamasa
No, I didn't know.
Host 2
So you said you have a fat ass.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, I'm crazy. Like, I don't care. It's like, if you have. You shouldn't be swinging that thing around if you don't want to compliment.
Host 2
Wait, so what did he say, though?
Joey Kamasa
He just was, like. He's just, like. Was, like, speechless. And I walk by, like, a nice cup, like, walking by.
Amanda Hirsch
Okay, Okay.
Joey Kamasa
I didn't stay there and talk to him. I just, like, said it, like.
Host 2
And walked and walked and then.
Joey Kamasa
And then, like. Yeah, I think. I think we just, like, we had, like, sort of mingling. You know how it is, the pubs, mama.
Host 2
I actually don't. What is it like at the pub?
Joey Kamasa
Just groups of friends talking, mixing, mingling, taking Jagermeister shots.
Host 2
And Jagermeister. Can you do shots Like. Like you can do shots right now?
Joey Kamasa
I could. I mean, I don't like to do them because, like, there's no point in. It's like, I'll have a martini if I wanted to do a shot. But, like, it's like, you know, I don't. Drinking games are never for me because, like, I'll voluntarily drink into a blackout. It's like, I don't need to still get blacked out. I don't do it anymore.
Host 2
Okay.
Joey Kamasa
Okay. Not that much anymore because now it's entertained at home. Like, I don't go out that much unless there's. Unless there's a. There's A chance I'll get my picture in the papers. It's like, I'm not going out just to, just to go stand at a bar.
Host 2
Right.
Joey Kamasa
Like, back then it had to be like, you know, there has to be like hot, hot people and like, and like good music and like celebrities. Now you see the seat. It's like, I don't care what.
Amanda Hirsch
Or a photographer.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, photographer. My name and a Getty image with a watermark. Getting image on front of it. I'm there.
Host 2
Did you see this new thing at Walmart, angel trees?
Joey Kamasa
No. Is it for dead people?
Host 2
No, it's for like people in need. Oh, have you seen that?
Joey Kamasa
No. Like, I'm not donating.
Host 2
Did it. Okay.
Joey Kamasa
What is so. So celebrities are donating their life.
Host 2
They're like, you go into Walmart and there's like a tree and then like each branch has like, like Lydia wants a guitar. And it's kind of like Amazon teacher's wish list.
Joey Kamasa
Anyone can go grab it. Or only celebrities can grab.
Host 2
No, only. But celebrities influencers are doing it and posting it.
Joey Kamasa
Girl.
Host 2
What do you think?
Joey Kamasa
I think it's, I think I'm seeing right through it. It's a performative act. Like if you're really. I would donate money to, you know, American Children's Hospital or something like that.
Host 2
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
I mean, it's like, I guess it's. I maybe it's great. I mean, it's good. You're bringing awareness. Show everyone that this is things that they're doing at Walmart to get people to go and do it.
Host 2
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
But I think, you know, anyone doing it with their. Anytime you keep doing something charitable.
Amanda Hirsch
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
And posting about it, it's like.
Host 2
And I feel like it's a double down now. Like, you could have said this years ago, but I feel like it's a double down now because it's also like with tick tock and everything, like, it just will get you more engagement more like, you know what I mean?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
It's like you get more out of it, but it's still, it's nice for people that can get these things.
Joey Kamasa
If I, if I, if I stumble across the Walmart, I'll pick a leaf off the tree, donate. But I'm also in need to book me on cameo. Thank you.
Host 2
We'll be right back after the break.
Amanda Hirsch

Okay, it's flashing back to something stupid you once said. So what would be like the stupidest, cringiest thing you've ever said?
Amanda Hirsch
Oh, publicly or out loud or.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, that's a good question. I don't even know like anything you've.
Host 2
Ever said like at work or to like famous people. A listers when you're out probably I.
Joey Kamasa
Am the, I'm the Beyonce of the group. Yeah, like, like you're the Mary, I'm the Rota. Or you're, you know, Mary and Rhoda. That's an old Mary Tyler Moore show. Were you around then?
Host 2
Oh my God.
Joey Kamasa
I wasn't around that either. But yeah, like probably yeah, saying like.
Amanda Hirsch
I got you, I got you, I got you.
Host 2
Okay. Also have you seen the. If you're not showering after the bars, then what are you doing?
Joey Kamasa
I love that girl. She's definitely from New Jersey. I can tell by her accent.
Host 2
What do you do after a long ass night out?
Joey Kamasa
Well, if you're not showing. I'm definitely not showing. I'm, I mean I'm like, I'm like either on the ground eating in front of the refrigerator, like binge eating and like, and feeding my dog. Or like, or I'm, I, I and I want in the night. It's. The sun's coming up, it's like 11 in the afternoon and I'm still up.
Host 2
Like you're, you're, you're, are you. Do you apply any like tints or makeup they have to take off?
Joey Kamasa
No, you don't. That night before, like you know if you're going out. Oh no, I do. I'm saying.
Host 2
But no, but I want to know if you take your makeup off.
Joey Kamasa
No, I don't put on.
Host 2
You don't?
Joey Kamasa
No. Really Wasted.
Host 2
Okay. Wasted.
Joey Kamasa
But if it's a regular night out, like after dinner or something.
Host 2
Go to dinner.
Joey Kamasa
Oh no, I Have to shower before bed.
Host 2
Yeah, you. So usually you shower before bed and after a long night out.
Joey Kamasa
Because I. I shower for bed because I don't want. I have like, my. And my bedding is like, too nice and I want to get it up and I just feel cleaner, like, you know.
Host 2
Well, now I want a house tour with all these. Like, my bedding is so nice. I'm hosting.
Joey Kamasa
Hosting.
Host 2
You hosted for Thanksgiving, right?
Joey Kamasa
I host for Thanksgiving. You see my Thanksgiving tablescape, it was so pretty. Thank you.
Host 2
Did your family love it?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, everyone loved it. I was feeling Lydia Deets. I was feeling Goth. I was feeling. But everyone also copied me. Like, and I'm not saying they copied, but they did.
Host 2
Who copied?
Joey Kamasa
Jenner's birthday party was all red.
Host 2
It was red.
Joey Kamasa
So it was mine.
Host 2
It was before Thanksgiving.
Joey Kamasa
It was thankful for Thanksgiving. I think she got that. She probably has me hacked. She probably. Does she follow you?
Amanda Hirsch
She does, yeah.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, my God. Can you tell her to follow me? Yeah. Okay. Then I went on. Then I saw the.
Host 2
Is she your dream follow. Like, who would you want. Who would you freak out the most if they followed you?
Joey Kamasa
Oh, probably some, like. Some like, sports guy that I have a crush on.
Host 2
No, stop.
Amanda Hirsch
Yeah, okay.
Joey Kamasa
Like Drake. May I love him. But then I saw the. The red. The same flowers I had for my tablescape were on the Thanksgiving Day parade, like, front thing.
Host 2
Oh, Macy's copied you.
Joey Kamasa
Macy's copy.
Host 2
Oh, my God. Kris Jenner, Macy's.
Joey Kamasa
Who else did it? It's just everywhere. I mean, I must trendsetter heaven for many years.
Host 2
I can't wait for this new. So are you in your, like, soft girl era right now?
Joey Kamasa
What does that mean?
Host 2
Like, you're soft. You're homie, you're cooking.
Joey Kamasa
Yes, I'm very cozy. I'm very.
Host 2
It's your very opposite of like barstool vibes right now.
Joey Kamasa
Yes.
Host 2
Right.
Joey Kamasa
I'm in my. My coastal grandmother vibe or my. My. I don't know if that's Parisian grandmother.
Host 2
Parisian grandma.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
Do you talk to Dave?
Joey Kamasa
No. I mean, we're not. We're not. We don't like chit chat.
Host 2
He said nice things about you when you left, right?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, I've nothing but nice things to say about him. He's like. Literally everyone says, what is he like? You get exactly what you see. He's. He's no nonsense. No straightforward, very fair and very, you know, honest and just.
Host 2
Did he try to get to you to say he.
Joey Kamasa
He gave me. He gave me options, you know? Yeah. You had to Stay. No, I had nothing bad saying about at all.
Amanda Hirsch
You love him?
Joey Kamasa
Love him. So she's lovely.
Host 2
Like a family at barstool.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. A toxic, competitive family.
Host 2
Wait, did you do those? They had like the games. Were you still there for that when they had that like reality show thing.
Joey Kamasa
Fish down the shore at the beach house.
Host 2
Where was it?
Joey Kamasa
The beach house? No, I didn't do that, but I did some other things. Like, right, to like live on a bus for a month. No, you did like road rules and like do like. It was like, it was like Survivor. It was like Survivor and road rules mix. So I got to like, like do challenges and then if, like, if you win the challenge, you get to stay in a nice Airbnb. But if not, you have to stay on the bus. I never made it to the Airbnb.
Host 2
Oh, my God.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
How was that?
Joey Kamasa
It was a nightmare.
Host 2
Roughed it out.
Joey Kamasa
I tried to get, I tried to get like kicked off every day. Like, I was like, please send me home.
Host 2
Tell me about Wiggles.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, my God, my baby.
Host 2
Is he getting a brother or a sibling?
Joey Kamasa
I need to get him a sibling because I. He's two. He's just turned one in August. He's Leo. He has the same birthday as my, my late mother. So that's why I got him.
Host 2
That's why you got them?
Joey Kamasa
Yes, I said it's kissing it.
Host 2
Did you buy him?
Joey Kamasa
I bought him.
Host 2
You're embarrassed to say it. You're like, I will say anything.
Joey Kamasa
Well, I'm all about adopting and I'll donate money and you know, as long as some. There's a camera around and. But it's like I'm not, I can't deal with a mangled dog. It's like, not that they're ugly. It's the fact that I.
Host 2
So what kind of dog is he?
Joey Kamasa
He's a long haired Chihuahua.
Host 2
Okay.
Joey Kamasa
She's a purebred.
Host 2
How much did you spend?
Joey Kamasa
$5,000.
Host 2
That's expensive.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, but now I went back to the same place. Now they're $9,000.
Host 2
Why you try to sell her back?
Joey Kamasa
No, I don't want to sell her back. I'm trying to get a sister or brother.
Host 2
Oh.
Joey Kamasa
Because then my sister, my sister was in Paris. My sister had, was staying at my house, watching my dog with her dog and they.
Amanda Hirsch
Her.
Joey Kamasa
So this cousin and him became best friends and his whole personality changed. He's like, he's a whole different dog there. He's like more well behaved when there's dogs around. He's like, he's happy, so I have to get him. And I always feel like I don't speak the language. So, like, I feel like he's, like, never going to be able to talk to someone else in the house. Do you know what I mean? Now I'm part Labrador, believe it or not.
Host 2
Like, you want. You want him to have a friend.
Joey Kamasa
I wanted to have a friend, but.
Host 2
It'S like, will it be more annoying to, like, have to walk two dogs rather than one?
Joey Kamasa
Well, I get. No, I think it's the same thing.
Host 2
It's the same.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. And a bit.
Host 2
Does he bark a lot?
Joey Kamasa
No.
Host 2
Or is it she?
Joey Kamasa
It's a he.
Amanda Hirsch
No, he. It's a him.
Joey Kamasa
But he does bark at the TV when he sees other dogs on the tv.
Host 2
That's it, though. That's not. That's not a problem.
Joey Kamasa
But, yeah, there's not, like, we don't get. There's no one, like, coming to my door or anything. So he's not, like, you know, listening.
Host 2
Wait, did you want. Do you want to have kids or. No?
Joey Kamasa
I always said I would have kids if I'm as rich as Angie Cohen and able to get, like, give my kid that lifestyle, like, go to private school and, like, have. Because if kids, like, you know, I'll kill a child. Like, if someone's like, my kid and calls him, makes fun of him, I'll be in jail. So, like, I have to, like, you know, having gay dads is, you know. You know, it's 220, 25. But they're still, you know, still there's bullying and stuff. Bullying. So, like, yeah, I have to go to, like, a school where there's, like.
Host 2
So you need Andy Cohen's money?
Joey Kamasa
Because I want to be able to, like, put him in a nice private school and, like, you know, because he.
Host 2
Would get bullied if he went to get bully.
Joey Kamasa
Mike wouldn't get bully. We're resilient, resilient people. But I think, you know, I just. I just think, like, I don't know, I wouldn't want to, like, like, have a kid. Just have a kid and, like, have to slum it. I love it, but you know what I mean? It's expensive.
Host 2
Like, you wanna. You wanna. Okay, so is that a goal?
Joey Kamasa
I want to give them the life, like, you know, like, that I never had. Do you know what I mean?
Host 2
Why were you roughing it?
Joey Kamasa
We were poor for many. I'm kidding.
Amanda Hirsch
Ew.
Joey Kamasa
Poor. Joking. No, it's just, like. I don't know. I just feel like if I Kids.
Amanda Hirsch
I don't know. I don't.
Joey Kamasa
I don't. They're not gonna fulfill me. I don't need them to be fulfilled. But it would be nice to, like, you know, for narcissistic reasons.
Host 2
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
Not for. Not for any other reason.
Amanda Hirsch
Like, I don't.
Joey Kamasa
I don't need to take on the family business of. Of clout chasing.
Host 2
What is Billy. What does Billy do?
Joey Kamasa
He is. He was in construction.
Host 2
Billy in construction?
Joey Kamasa
No, he's not picking up hard hats and tools.
Host 2
Okay.
Joey Kamasa
She was in. He was construction management and, like, architecture. Like, he was building museums and stuff. But now he's.
Host 2
His.
Joey Kamasa
His career is pivoting. He wants to do stuff more. Great. He's very creative. He's very good, and I think, you know, he wants to do things more, like, in the arts. Arts. It's like, you know, with photography and, like, you know, design. Graphic design. So he's gonna get in some.
Host 2
Is he into your world?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, he loves it.
Host 2
Yeah, he loves it.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. Very supportive.
Host 2
Oh, I love that. That's important.
Joey Kamasa
But I have to remind him I'm the Beyonce at all times, because you're.
Host 2
Like, what do you mean? You want to get it back?
Joey Kamasa
Don't try it, Queen.
Host 2
Do you think you could ever date somebody who was like, no. No, you couldn't.
Joey Kamasa
I could never. My. My boyfriend, when I was, like, like, like young, he, like, got head shots, and I, like, almost broke up with him. I said, what the do you think you're doing? I ripped them up. I. I literally ripped them up. I was like, don't even try headshots.
Host 2
No, I can. Really? What age was this?
Joey Kamasa
This is like. It's like, I'm like, 19 or 20. I was not having it.
Host 2
Did you have headshots at that point?
Joey Kamasa
No. That's why I was jealous.
Host 2
Oh, my God. Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
Not on my watch. Not on my watch. Did you ever see that?
Host 2
When did you come out?
Joey Kamasa
Oh, I never had to.
Host 2
You never had to?
Amanda Hirsch
No.
Joey Kamasa
I was doing roller sets in my room at 12, so it's like the jig. Is that mama? Like, my mother's, like, where did my bra go? It's like, you know where it went. We all know where it went.
Amanda Hirsch
Wait.
Joey Kamasa
Interesting.
Host 2
You never had to. Is that a real story? Yeah, like, it was just like.
Joey Kamasa
I mean, you have eyes. You could. Like, I'm literally wearing women's clothing and, like, doing hair and talking about how cute boys are. Like, I would be like, I remember.
Host 2
Like, from what age? Since.
Joey Kamasa
Since I knew that I had crush on boys. Jonathan Taylor Thomas. I was like, oh, my God, he is so cute. I mean, my sisters were, like, talking about how cute the boys were. And, like, it just. It never was a dirty.
Host 2
Never had to be said.
Joey Kamasa
It wasn't like it was. I never felt, like, ashamed of it. Like, it was just always, like, probably.
Host 2
Because you felt safe in your house.
Joey Kamasa
You know, and also, I mean, again, the thing is, like, you know, people have or gifted certain things, and I was gifted what I know what I got. It's my personality that has gotten me through, like, so many different things and opportunities. And. And I also have the gift of comedy. Like, things people aren't. Even if they are. Even if they do hate, like, whoever I am or, like, what I stand for, whatever, I have, like, a different way. They, you know, they can't help but like me because it's, like, how I'm delivering it.
Host 2
Did you guys hear what he said? He said, even if you don't like.
Joey Kamasa
Me, like, if you love me, if you're homophobe, like, even though, like, you hate the gays, it's like, you know, you can. You can hate the gays, but, like, I get a pass because I'm funny.
Host 2
You feel that? Not that.
Amanda Hirsch
Not.
Joey Kamasa
Not so much.
Host 2
Okay, but, you know, like, I feel.
Joey Kamasa
Like they look pesticide. That's like the. You feeling gays. And it's like, not the. It's just like the. The most. Most like, boring thing about me. It's like there's so many more things. So, like, that's. That's why I think that I shine more in other areas.
Host 2
First of all, baby, you shine.
Joey Kamasa
Thank you.
Host 2
You shine.
Joey Kamasa
I'm wearing a new. A new serum.
Host 2
Wait, I wanted to talk about some pop culture.
Joey Kamasa
Do you write these notes yourself? You have the lady to do it. There's always a lady in this business. There's always a lady. It's like, who do I send my invoice to? Where's the lady?
Host 2
I added in handwriting because I wanted to talk about. About pop culture of the day. Like, news, newsworthy stuff. So most recently, we found out that Miley Cyrus is engaged.
Joey Kamasa
To who?
Host 2
To. Okay, so this is what's sad to me. And I went on this rant a while ago, so you know how, like, Taylor Swift. We're all upsets. Everyone dies.
Joey Kamasa
Yes. Love it.
Host 2
Love it for her. However, we have such talent in our times, like Miley Cyrus.
Joey Kamasa
I'm so glad to hear about the Super Bowl. Like, I was praying she would. She would get the Super Bowl.
Host 2
Did you want to do it.
Joey Kamasa
I don't know if she wants to do it, but, you know, we're missing a diva.
Host 2
I need.
Joey Kamasa
We need divas. It's a diva's only environment, really.
Host 2
Oh, you're not into the bad.
Joey Kamasa
I hate when men do. It's fine.
Host 2
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
It's like, I don't, like, I think. I don't think it's a space for men at Super Bowl. I think it's a divas only arena.
Host 2
I could see your angle, Jimmy.
Joey Kamasa
It should be. It should be. Who it should be this year. It could be any of them.
Host 2
But you're. You were thinking. Well, we know Taylor has had discussions, but. Okay, wait. I want to talk about the Miley, not Super bowl, because this is important to me. Miley Cyrus, one of the biggest divas of our time.
Amanda Hirsch
Okay.
Host 2
Love her, I feel like. And people will be, like, thinking that I'm dumb about this, but, like, she doesn't get enough love, and here's why. Miley Cyrus is engaged. Okay? This should be breaking news. And yes, it's on the sites and it's in the media, but, like, we don't know his last name. And I, like.
Joey Kamasa
We don't know her.
Host 2
Say his last name off the top of my tongue because I don't know why, but I just feel like Miley doesn't get enough, like, yeah. Media attention or. Or something.
Amanda Hirsch
Like.
Host 2
And is it because she's, like, down to earth and she, like, performs at, like, jazz clubs? Like, why isn't she at, like, Taylor level? Like, rock the world? Everything she does is, like, blown up.
Joey Kamasa
Right.
Host 2
Breaking the Internet, you know, everything. Why this?
Joey Kamasa
I don't know. I don't know why. Maybe because she is like. Like, she went through that thing where, like, she didn't want to be public with her last relationship, her last engagement to the Hemsworth. She was like. Like, oh, get away from. Like, she would want to be, like, coupled up, and she didn't want to, like, be. Maybe it was just him, but, you know, she's like. I think she's more, like, reserved. Maybe they're giving her.
Amanda Hirsch
Her.
Joey Kamasa
Her time to, like, be by herself.
Amanda Hirsch
That's a nice way to look at it.
Joey Kamasa
You were saying with them recently about the Kravitz and the. The same thing with them.
Host 2
I don't know, because when I posted.
Amanda Hirsch
That, did you get.
Joey Kamasa
Did you get Kushback?
Host 2
No, no, I actually got. Or it's pr, which, like, you guys.
Amanda Hirsch
It's not pr.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
Or I got. Well, they both date a thousand people a day.
Amanda Hirsch
So, like, we don't care. Okay.
Joey Kamasa
I just didn't even know. I had no idea they were together, even.
Host 2
But I did hear a rumor. Doesn't she. You guys want to hear a wild Jacob Elordi? I heard that they're engaged.
Joey Kamasa
I mean, would that be wild? I guess. This is. This is Zoe Kravitz. Is Lenny Kravitz's daughter.
Host 2
Yeah. Oh, you're really nice.
Joey Kamasa
Lisa, Ron's mother is the mother.
Host 2
Right.
Amanda Hirsch
Gorgeous family.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
And she has dated a lot of hot people.
Joey Kamasa
Are they British? Both British. Harry Styles is British.
Host 2
Oh, Harry Styles is British. Yeah.
Amanda Hirsch
Yeah.
Host 2
So Miley Cyrus doesn't get enough love, Right? I think I feel like her engagement should have been, like, you know, front.
Amanda Hirsch
Front page. Front page.
Host 2
Okay. People are like, oh, she's engaged. Great. This is where she got her ring. But whatever. Then we have Taylor and Travis. Travis literally was quoted today by saying that in the two and a half years him and Taylor are together, which is so long, and I can't believe.
Amanda Hirsch
It'S been two and a half years.
Host 2
Yeah. They have not had one fight.
Joey Kamasa
He said, well, what is there to fight about? You're both billionaires.
Host 2
You think it's all money.
Joey Kamasa
Not money.
Host 2
But also.
Joey Kamasa
And I. Another thing is, I don't think they're up like the traditional couples. They're not like. They're not like, slumming it together like, every five minutes. Like, they travel and they have. They have multiple homes and there's. They're doing stuff.
Host 2
Stuff.
Amanda Hirsch
Right.
Joey Kamasa
They're not. They're not staring at each other, ordering Chinese food and, like, getting fights about stupid. Because they're not. They're.
Host 2
I think that's true. It's like, be together less and you'll fight less.
Joey Kamasa
No. 100%.
Host 2
It's true.
Joey Kamasa
And also, it's like, you know, I'm.
Host 2
Like, I can't go to the bathroom. I'm like, to my husband, like, can I pee without you having to be in the bathroom at the same time? So you're right. They're never in the bathroom at the same time, probably. No.
Joey Kamasa
They're on the same floor at the same time, probably.
Host 2
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
And then when they are together, it's all the good times. I mean, that's the luxury of having that kind of lifestyle.
Host 2
Did you hear that she's getting married in her Rhode Island?
Joey Kamasa
I recalled that from the beginning.
Host 2
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
Billy's family has places in Rhode island. And it's. And that's just very. The vibe. It's the Newport vibe for her. I would never think she would get married in Hollywood or a destination or France or something. It's not. It's gonna be an Americana summer wedding with lobster rolls and you know, all good, all good. New England.
Host 2
I think her dress is gonna be good.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, I think it's gonna be. I don't think it's. I think it's just two. Two things I'm seeing. I'm seeing like a structured, like Vera Wang, like, you know, like off the shoulder, like strapless, but like it goes up a little bit. Like like a U shape.
Host 2
She loves that shape.
Joey Kamasa
Shape there. She loves a thing like this and like a Grace Kelly, like satin skirt.
Amanda Hirsch
I don't think Grace Kelly.
Joey Kamasa
No.
Host 2
I think she's going ethereal. Princess, Princess, Disney princess.
Amanda Hirsch
There might be if you're that or very.
Joey Kamasa
She may. She might go like very witchy and like, you know, like lace and like have like, you know, like a vibe.
Host 2
You know, not 20s, like maybe like a floral headpiece. Bohemian.
Joey Kamasa
Bohemian sleeves, like long sleeves that go over her thing. Like Kate Moss's wedding.
Host 2
I feel like we're really on track where like this will be quoted after.
Joey Kamasa
I'm excited. Yeah, watch. We're the ones to watch. Do you think we're be able to cover the wedding, you and I?
Host 2
Wait, do you think that she. Because do you. When she went on her tour promoting.
Amanda Hirsch
Her new album, she talked about the.
Host 2
Wedding a lot and she was saying to everyone, you're coming. Like, like if she'd come on my podcast, she'd be like, and you're invited because we've met once and I'm basically.
Amanda Hirsch
Inviting everyone that I'm a follow up.
Joey Kamasa
If she said that to me.
Host 2
So do you think though that she's actually going to invite all the people she said she's going to invite?
Joey Kamasa
I may be like, who is she inviting? Who is she that she's invited to.
Host 2
Radio host, like in the uk? Like she'd go on like a radio show and she'd be like, they'd be like, so the wedding. And there she's like, well, you're coming. Like I'm inviting you.
Joey Kamasa
I don't know. I mean it's either going to be something really small or like a blown out thing. But I was thinking people are small, you know, smaller venue.
Host 2
I have another question for you. And now I'm remembering we talked about this at the beginning about smelling. Because you asked me if I smell people and I regret not smelling people so much like I smell on the street.
Joey Kamasa
I'll be like, Oh, I sniff people all the time.
Amanda Hirsch
People.
Joey Kamasa
And so I finally. I'm like. I'm like a bloodhound in the bar. I'm, like, trying to find out who has the cologne on so I can ask them about it. I have. I'm. I have no shame. I have nothing. I'm an old woman now. You know how your parents, like, are embarrassing the store?
Host 2
Like, get over here.
Joey Kamasa
Like, you know, what are you scared about? Like, that's me. I have no shyness about anything.
Host 2
Who do you think smells the best in Hollywood?
Joey Kamasa
I mean, I know Rihanna is supposed to smell the best. I haven't even smelled her, though.
Amanda Hirsch
She. She looks like she smells really good.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, I think. I don't know. I like fresh, clean. Kind of smells like.
Host 2
Like, musky.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. Who would I want to smell if I could?
Amanda Hirsch
JLo.
Joey Kamasa
I hate JLo.
Host 2
You hate Jay.
Joey Kamasa
I told you this the other day.
Host 2
No, you didn't.
Joey Kamasa
I didn't tell you a text. I know. I told me something. I hate her. And you. Why do you hate her?
Host 2
Okay.
Joey Kamasa
I just. I don't know. She annoys me.
Amanda Hirsch
I mean, you're not alone, unfortunately.
Joey Kamasa
Well, I've heard she's a. To people in the industry. She's like, by the way. And to her. Her staff, and I think she's, like, very mean.
Host 2
Really?
Joey Kamasa
I'm triggered because I was.
Host 2
Did you hear this from, like, people that would know?
Joey Kamasa
Yes. Insiders. I helped her once when I worked at Patricia Field, and she came with P. Diddy looking for a cowboy hat.
Host 2
And was she nice?
Joey Kamasa
No, she was rude.
Host 2
What did she say?
Joey Kamasa
She was just, like, hiding her face. Like, I'm not trying to take a picture of you. This is for camera phones, though.
Host 2
So what'd she think? You were taking a photo with, like, a camera?
Joey Kamasa
I wasn't taking a photo, but she was just, like, you know, like, very, like, you know, like. Like who she is. It's like, I. I was told that.
Host 2
She was nice, and then I met her, and she was nice.
Joey Kamasa
Did you meet her in a professional environment? Were you interviewing her?
Host 2
Yes.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, yeah. Saying. But, like, if you were, like. If you were like, her, the runner or something.
Host 2
I see.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
Then it would be different.
Joey Kamasa
Did she ask about me?
Host 2
She gave me a compliment, so, you know, if somebody compliments me, they could.
Joey Kamasa
You heard enough compliments from a list celebrities already. But this is Jennifer Aniston. The freaking hair color. I was so upset. I almost blocked you. I almost blocked you.
Host 2
No, but it's like, to me, like, you could literally kill A member of my family and then compliment me. Yeah. And we're good. We're fat.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
You know what I mean?
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. Maybe. Maybe. I'll get it. Jayla, if you want to hang out, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
Host 2
Like, if she'll compliment.
Joey Kamasa
You know, just make sure the camera's around.
Host 2
Wait, she just performed at a wedding.
Joey Kamasa
Jlo. Did she get it, girl? I know. Beyonce does things like that too.
Host 2
She does.
Joey Kamasa
Like, in Dubai. I think she goes to weddings.
Amanda Hirsch
Like, wait, right?
Host 2
Those, like, huge. Like Dubai and India. Like, wasn't there, like an Indian wedding? All the Kardashians went. What's your thoughts on Meghan Markle?
Joey Kamasa
Did you. I've even googling my hate. My hate list. Megan Marbles.
Host 2
Marbles.
Joey Kamasa
Mega marbles. Mm. Wicked witch. You know what that is?
Host 2
Wait, you think she's a wicked witch?
Joey Kamasa
I can't stand.
Host 2
You know, she's my manifesting the guest.
Joey Kamasa
Well, I also think she sent you jams and jellies.
Host 2
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
Again, I'm just jealous. But I am. I. I don't care about her that much.
Host 2
Why are you. You just said she's a wicked witch.
Joey Kamasa
I was kidding. Because I was like, Megan Marble. You know that?
Host 2
No.
Joey Kamasa
Michelle Yo's going around doing that. No. Oh, you have to look at it. It's the new if there's 100 people in room. Lady Gaga.
Host 2
Really?
Joey Kamasa
She's doing it on the press door for the. For the Wicked show. And she's like. She keeps saying, meg, Madame Marble. We flip it around. Wicked witch. And it's so cringey. She's doing like, she does it 30 times.
Host 2
Oh, my God. I'm dead.
Joey Kamasa
But Megan, Margot. I'm jealous of her because she has my dream show. Like, she has a lifestyle show I want to make.
Host 2
That's why you hate her.
Joey Kamasa
I want to make honey. Make my own honey in the backyard and make little bouquets and have my gay friends come over and make, you know, tarts.
Host 2
But that's not why you hate her. I don't think that's why.
Joey Kamasa
I just think that whole scandal when she took down the. The whole family, it was like.
Amanda Hirsch
Yeah.
Host 2
Really touched you personally.
Joey Kamasa
Only because. Not because it's the wrongdoings of the in, like the bad things that were going on more because like, like, you're not from there. It's like, like an American doing something, like a new culture. I feel like it was like her place to like, while out.
Host 2
Did you see the. The Megan. The. The Megan Markle drama with the Kardashians. She went to their. The Kris Jenner 70th was living. Then she posted photos. No. Then Kris Jenner posted a carousel with.
Amanda Hirsch
A photo of Megan and Harry in it.
Host 2
Boop. In like two hours. That.
Amanda Hirsch
Because you know how you can delete.
Host 2
A photo from a carousel? That photo has disappeared. So then there are, like, articles about how Megan. Yeah. And you can just imagine behind the scenes and what I like, you don't.
Joey Kamasa
Go to that party and expect not to have press and like, people say.
Host 2
So I think first of all, the Kardashians are obviously my girls. And I kind of was happy that they weren't getting it. Seemed like the media kind of was like. Like, it's so obvious what happened. Chris posted a photo with Megan and.
Amanda Hirsch
Megan asked to take it down after.
Host 2
Two hours, you know.
Joey Kamasa
Or did someone not look cute in the picture?
Host 2
But it was only.
Joey Kamasa
It was just her.
Host 2
It was Chris, Megan and Harry.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, yeah. Yeah. She's. Others. Are they. Are they friends with the. The Bezos's?
Host 2
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
The royal couple.
Host 2
Yeah.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, that's. Yeah.
Host 2
Who? Oh, Megan and Harry.
Amanda Hirsch
Yeah.
Host 2
I feel like they wouldn't. I don't know. I feel like they don't.
Amanda Hirsch
Wouldn't admit it.
Host 2
You know what I mean?
Joey Kamasa
What do you think about Jeff Bezos, Lauren Sanchez? Is Lauren Sanchez having a bachelorette party? Don't you think it's a certain age cut off? It was. It was like, again, I was pissed I wasn't invited, but it's like. And I'll probably be 90 when I get married, but it's like, I just feel like a bachelorette. I mean, they did it beautifully in Paris. It's just something. I'm not saying there's bachelor, but when you.
Host 2
Brook Snader there, like, I need to.
Joey Kamasa
Know, like, Kim was there and Chris. Your two homegirls. Kelly. Katy Perry was there.
Host 2
Katy Perry. What do you think of Katy Perry?
Joey Kamasa
I think she's cool.
Amanda Hirsch
I think.
Host 2
Really? I don't know.
Amanda Hirsch
I get cringe out.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. I don't really know her that well. When she had the short hair, I didn't like her. But now.
Amanda Hirsch
Really?
Host 2
Oh, yeah. She was kind of cookie.
Amanda Hirsch
Cookie. Yeah.
Host 2
She's kooky now, too, though. When I get. I don't know who's going to her concert.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah.
Host 2
But when I get like, little clips of it, I'm kind of like, what is happening? Why are you wearing, like, like shapewear with sequins? Like, you know what I mean? Like, I also feel like, can people wear other things to concerts? And not just like these, like.
Joey Kamasa
Leotard.
Host 2
Yeah, Constructed leotard. Is there nothing else to wear?
Joey Kamasa
Well, drag queens have been setting the tone for many years, and that's. That's an old standard. I don't know.
Host 2
They need to. They need to set a new one.
Amanda Hirsch
So people copy it.
Joey Kamasa
I just. I just think she's just trying to keep up with. Keep up with, like, what everyone else is doing. Yeah, I think stick to what you do with your kids. Your campiness and your boobs squirting out whipped cream. Like, stick with that. We're not. Don't stop trying to be sexy and spacey.
Host 2
Right, and spacey. I mean, technically, she went to space.
Joey Kamasa
Would you have gone if they asked you?
Host 2
I would not go.
Amanda Hirsch
For millions of dollars.
Joey Kamasa
You wouldn't go.
Host 2
It's my biggest fear.
Amanda Hirsch
Probably.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah. Like the ocean. I would never go to anything.
Host 2
Would you go to space for money?
Joey Kamasa
For money, yeah.
Host 2
For any. Like, what's the other.
Joey Kamasa
Has to be drunk or like, you know, like, like if they're. If it has to, like, get a little tipsy.
Host 2
Like, you would go with Snooki. I feel like, for the vibes.
Joey Kamasa
For the vibes. And not for money as well. But, you know, it was. That's a terrifying thing. It's like an un.
Host 2
You know, it's an unknown. The space never turns out like people with kids that don't know if they're gonna come back.
Joey Kamasa
Yeah, I would never remember that movie Interstellar. How scary.
Host 2
No, but I feel like I need to watch it because people talk about.
Joey Kamasa
It a lot for the. For the soundtrack alone. It's a great soundtrack as well.
Host 2
I'll watch it. I. I been wanting to do this.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, your. Your loafers look nice. Are those high end?
Host 2
They're actually not. Oh, and I had someone in here before. She was high endy and she was like, I like your loafers. She's like, I have the same ones.
Amanda Hirsch
I was like, you have the YSL ones? She was like, yeah, I have the YSL ones.
Joey Kamasa
These are Johnson and Murphy.
Host 2
This is Tony Bianco.
Joey Kamasa
Oh, that sounds fancier than mine. You said Amazon, but they're Johnson and Murphy. That's. That's like a businessman place. This man's special.
Host 2
Joey, I love you.
Joey Kamasa
This has been so much fun.
Host 2

Host 2

Host 2

Joey Kamasa
Do you drink wine?
Host 2

Amanda Hirsch

Host 2
