Right. For me, it's not so much about buying time now. It's buying time later where it's like the end of your life.

My friend Gina was actually telling me that now that she's become a grandparent, she's never been faced more with her mortality in her life because she's like, you know, when you have your kids, I don't think you're thinking about missing anything in their life. But when you become a grandparent, if you're at a, you know, a certain age, you can think about, oh, my God, like, I want to be at their wedding and I want to see them have kids if I can, all that kind of stuff.

How old were you when you knew you wanted to have children?

I think I always did. Yeah.

It'S also weird is, like, when your kid gets to be, like, a teenager, you know, when you're 17 and you're still, like, still very young yourself in very many ways to life. You know what I mean?

Yeah, for sure. So what, like, you're gonna have a teenager soon. What are you gonna do when he comes to you and is like, I want a piercing. I want to get my ear piercer. I wanna. Has he come to you with anything yet?

I don't mind doing that for him. No. I can't see him wanting a piercing. But for me, my whole thing with Beau as he's gonna get older is just like, consent, consent, consent, consent. Like, that's what I feel like my job is as a mom is to really drill in, like, how to respect a woman and make it no blurry lines of how things happen when they happen.
