Think of an OCD thought as you jumping out of an airplane with a parachute. You are scared. What if the parachute is not going to open? What if all the bad things in the world are going to happen and then you will jump and then you will see that the parachute actually opens. That's how I want you to think of it. It's scary in the moment. It's very scary. But you're not worried about any of your previous OCD thoughts. You're just worried about this one. But all those other ones, they were important at a time too. And you chose to not worry about them anymore. Maybe because you moved on to another thought, but you're no longer worried about them. This is the same thing. This will also become unimportant at some point in the future. But right now, you're standing with a parachute, you're about to jump and you are afraid. What if the parachute does not open? I promise you it will open. I promise you, you will not have this thought last for the rest of your life. You will not be 90 years old dying with this thought. I promise you that the parachute will open. You just gotta be brave enough to jump. Emergency session is available. The link is in the description.
