Try to focus on the future you. What would a future you without OCD be like? What compulsions would they stop? And if you really are serious about OCD recovery, you know that this is where you are now. Let's say you're doing a lot of rumination, a lot of compulsions. You know that the future you fully recovered you is not gonna do chatgpt, it's not gonna do reassurance seeking, it's not gonna do physical compulsions. So if that future you is not gonna do it, then start going towards that. Cutting it down, reducing. That's the process. You cannot recover from OCD and at the same time keep the behaviors that keep you stuck in ocd. So you have to really understand this, that I have to let go of it at some point and I might as well start now.
