Every moment of the day counts when you're doing OCD recovery work. So this is not. Well, I did good, you know, for an hour, I did exposures. Well, great. That's very good. It's better than nothing. But what did you do the rest of the day? What did you do the first hour, the second hour, the third? What did you do? Oh, I went on chat, GPT, then a little Reddit, then, you know, threw some Google in the mix, right? Asked for reassurance. But it did good with that, those exposures. Yep, did good. And then you go to a therapist who has no idea what they're talking about. They're like, yeah, you're doing a great job. You're doing these exposures. This is great. You know what I mean? Every time period counts. What did you do today? If I ask you, did you do the most you could given the circumstances? Because sometimes life is busy and the most you can is not the max that you can. It's the. The most given the circumstances. But did you do what you could today with OCD recovery? And how can we do better tomorrow? That's another question. Always ask yourself that. Check yourself, because this is your recovery. Nobody's gonna hold your hand every moment of the day. You either are gonna do it or you're not gonna do it. It's the same thing. Well, not the same thing, but it's. I like to equate it to a weight loss. If you're on a weight loss journey, everything you eat in the day counts. It can't be like, well, I was eating good. I had this one good meal, then there was a little ice cream, then there was a little bit of, you know, French fries and burgers. The pizza, you know, just happened to happen. But I did good that one meal. And it's great that you did that one meal, but it's not going to get you to where you want to be. Do you see what I'm saying? Every time period counts. Emergency session is available. The link is in the description.
