The two things that you can do to massively reduce your rumination right away is online research. Just choose not to do it anymore, treat it like an addiction, choose not to do it anymore, and asking others for reassurance. Those are the two things where it's an action, you're doing it deliberately. You can stop allowing yourself to do that action deliberately, and then also obviously not allowing yourself to ruminate about it. But it's much easier to stop yourself from asking somebody than to stop yourself from ruminating. So as a step one, it's a good step one. I'm Ali Graymond.
