Hello friends. What a thrill to let you know that On Being is coming back with a special season crafted around adventures I've been having out in the world these last few months. We will commence on April 16th with a joy of a conversation about life and love, heartbreak and healing with Justin Vernon, also known as Bon Iver, as he releases a wondrous new album into the World. You'll also hear a deep and wide ponder about being young in America, a revelatory encounter at a cross generational gathering with Mohawk Elder Gucci Cook, a tender mind and heart expanding conversation with Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel from a convening in the Hague, an immensely grounding and calming conversation on our lives with the news. Plus a gem from the On Being Archive. A refreshing, ever relevant introduction to beginning a practice of prayer experimentally. And I'm excited about this too. We will follow these shows in May and June with a seven week resource drawn from teachings and wisdom inside the On Being archive. It's called Hope, Imagination and Remaking the World and it's something you can do alongside others in your life. This is a hard, bewildering time in the life of the world. We're all feeling that. And in different keys, this hybrid experiment of a season stays tethered in the persistent beauty and courage of what it can mean to be human. It also honors the questions so many of us are asking right now from every place along the spectrum of our life together and how to be present to the gravity of this time and keep body and soul together as we do so. What to orient towards? What is the work that is ours to do? I haven't set this for a while into a mic for my work, but here you go. Please join me starting April 16th.
