Now, a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts. When he saw Peter and John the apostles about to enter, he asked them for money. Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, look at us. So the man gave him gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them. Then Peter said, silver or gold, I do not have. But what I do have, I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Walk, Lord, for those who needed that encouragement that you can give the power to walk, I pray that it is received in Jesus name. Amen. Let's be seated. My God. Ah. So for those who are taking notes, pray, that is all of you, Global Family. I'm praying that you're taking notes as well. The title for today's encounter is Receive it. It's a command. Receive it. As you've heard quite a few of us speak on when we come up here to the platform. More often than not, what you preach and what you teach, you go through first. So here I am preaching a word about receiving. And one of my big challenges that I am overcoming in the name of Jesus is learning how to receive. So it's very odd to be preaching a word. Not odd. It's very Holy Ghost to be Preaching a word that is going through you as it is getting to y'. All. So as we mentioned earlier, and thank you all for the birthday shout apprec. I just turned 48, Which hit me for a number of reasons. One being my birthday's on the 24th. Last week, my twin pastor Charles Guilford, preached his face off. Sliced all of us up with the word year 24, which he didn't know was also coinciding with my birth date being April 24, and also with me turning 48. So it hit me twice as hard. I said, twin, you killing me right now. I got to spend my birthday at the called. Was anybody here who joined us at the called A few of us. Okay, we gonna work on that for the next one. McCall was a very powerful conference for leaders and entrepreneurs to really get us more engaged in utilizing the gifts that God has given us so that we could enter into the business and entrepreneurial space. And I was there to receive. The funny part about it is as I'm on my way there, I'm literally at the. At the terminal to get on the plane to go, and I text our founding pastor, Apostle Ture, and I text him, I'm like, hey, I'm on my way. You know, if. Yeah, somebody better shout for that. I text him and I'm like, hey, you know, I'm on my way. I'm really excited to be there. If you need anything, let me know. I love my spiritual father. He didn't answer why? Because I was supposed to be there to receive. So here I am, going to this mind altering, spirit shifting conference for me on my birthday, and I'm out here trying to work. I said, okay, Lord, that was number one. Then later on, I got the opportunity to. For my birthday to be taken out to dinner. And I spent some amazing time with two outlandishly anointed people who I love in our family. That will be my twin, Pastor Charles, and with pda. And it's not more than five minutes before my twin is slaying me again. And one of the things as he was, you know, imparting to me and just, you know, allowing me to be celebrated, it hit on something right there at the table. I said, I have a problem receiving. I'm a giver. I love to give. And the reason I love to give is because I have an understanding of what I've been given. If anybody in this place has ever gotten a hug from me, I didn't realize I had hugged that many of y'. All. Yes, the reason I Hug people the way that I do is because that's how I feel. My father hugs me. That love that I give in any time or space that I can engage you, speak to you, shake your hand, look you in your eye, look you in your heart, and love on you is just an overflow of how my understanding of what my father does with me and to me and has done with me all of these days of my life. I can't help but share that because I want other people to experience it, to know it the way I know it. And maybe you get to know it better than I did. Hallelujah. So I give. But in this season of being in abundance and a poor state, I'm realizing that abundance and a poor state, that means pour p o u r pouring over. It means the greatest challenge that I'm gonna have and that I suspect some of us have is in receiving quick to give. Because when you give, it's not about you. Global family, come talk to me. It's one of the things we do as givers. Because, Lord, it's not about me, it's about them. It's not about me, it's about you. It's about. And we do all of the things possible to keep the light off of us. Meanwhile, my Bible tells me that we are called to let our light so shine. So here we are as givers, putting ourselves under a bushel so that someone else can shine, as if God can't shine that light on them and on us, using us as well. So I'm challenged. I said, oh, man, I got to work on this. And this is where this word began to really start to be birthed in me. Receive it someone right now and more of us than perhaps we are willing to admit. But I'm prayerful that as I go through this Word, you're able to just receive that you have a problem receiving. I realized that one of the things that it takes to receive is the understanding that, number one, me and my father have a relationship. That means I have to acknowledge that we have a relationship. I have to acknowledge that my father loves me and I have to acknowledge his love for me through his son, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. That's one level of love acknowledgement that I have to have and that challenges us all because we have been at times duped into reducing ourselves or judging ourselves and feeling as if we are not worthy of the love that's going to come forth whether we like it or not. So I'm challenged on that level because my father loves Me. And proof of his love for me is our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, who, guess what, loves me too. Now I'm challenged twice because in order for me to receive the reality of the love of my Father, I have to receive the reality of the love of his Son. For me, for you. And this can be a mind altering shift for those of us who struggle to receive, because the love of the Father and the love that Jesus poured out for us is the greatest gift you could have. So I understand the struggle to receive in that way. But I'm called here today to let you know, receive it because it's already been dispensed. And the time that you spend not receiving it is time missing out on one of the most critical aspects of a relationship that any child of God can have in the kingdom. It's the one where you say, you are so good and I am so blessed. That is receivership at its finest at its core. And so now we find ourselves in this space where in this abundant season, perhaps for some, and maybe more as we go along. Your challenge is not finding out what to do. Your challenge is not finding out how to blow the thing up that you're about to blow up. Your challenge is in being able to receive. Your challenge is when there is a blessing, can you receive it? Not if there is a blessing, because this is an abundant season. The blessing is all around you. But if we don't take the opportunity to actually receive it and receive it in full, we are missing out. And then at this dinner I was having with twin and pda, this was the part that got me, and I'll share this one with you, and I'm gonna paraphrase, but basically he said, hey, you, not receiving, learning and continuing to grow in receiving isn't going to just cost you. And I said, oh, that's how. Because this is how God deals with me. He knows I'll rough it. He knows he knows I will rough it. I will endure, I will withstand, I will deal with the hardship. I will knuckle up and I will fight. And he knows I will do all that. And whatever happens to me, I'll deal with it. But don't touch the people, the people I love, the people I'm called to when the stakes are revealed. That's how God gets to me. It isn't just about what I'm called to do, where I'm called to be. When God says, all right, I need you to change, anytime he needs to move the needle with me, he starts showing me the people My action or inaction effects. So twin hits me right in the face, Bow. Not physically, not really. And he basically was like, hey, if you aren't able to receive those who you're called to give to, you won't have anything to give them. And that had. That's when I said, oh, okay, okay. Well, wait a minute. Whoa, whoa, whoa. That's too far. And by too far, I mean too spot on for the change that I am in the process of, and quite frankly have been in the process of this entire abundance season, I just didn't have a word for it. I was trying to figure out what was the biggest challenge for me. It wasn't picturing the blessing. I could see it. It wasn't seeing the vision I could see wasn't moving in it. I could move in it. But any hesitation, I'm like, what is this? And I said, oh, on the other side of that move, there is a great blessing. And I have to do the hard work to learn how to receive abundance. We know how to receive sustenance. We know how to receive manna. We're good at manna. We know what to do for the first five days. We know on the sixth day we take twice as much because on the seventh day we're not going to work. We know how to work with manna. But in a season that's not about manna, that's about abundance. In a Deuteronomy 28 season where we're talking about how the blessings are going to overtake you, this is a different kind of receiving. This is a different kind of challenge. And so then I'm brought to this passage in scripture and we're going to move through this as swiftly as I can, which for the most part usually is not very swiftly at all. I saw this passage and I'd never seen the step by step journey and the step by step connection to giving and receiving. Someone shout receive it. You needed that. It's not a suggestion, I promise. It's something you need to take hold of. Because as we'll see here, what was received was then passed on in a way where if it hadn't been received, this would be a completely different story. So let's start. We're going to start in verse two. So we have this man who is lame from birth. He's at the temple gate called beautiful. And every day what he does is, it says, there's one translation which speaks of begging alms, but he asks for money. This is speaking to me already. He's lame. He cannot Walk. He has a problem with his legs. He's asking for money. The issue is one thing, but he's asking for something else that's not going to get to the root of the real issue. And I believe the reason he's asking for money is because he has not, up until that point, come into contact with the kind of power that it would take to deal with the real issue. See, sometimes when we don't see the real authority, sometimes when we don't see the real hand of God in our lives, we think that the problem that we have is too big for him because we don't see Him. And so we start asking for little problems to be solved. Instead, he can't walk and he's asking for money as if he could rub the coins on his leg. Because what is this man going to do with money if he cannot walk? Wow. How's he gonna get to the market? Somebody gonna carry you there? There's no Instacart, there's no Uber Eats. Ain't nobody bringing nothing to you. So he has one problem that has existed in him for so long. He thinks it's unsolvable. So he moves on. He accepts that condition because he has not yet encountered, I believe, the one who can solve his gravest condition. And so he settles for lesser conditions to be followed to be solved along the way. That's just the first verse. This man was lame from birth. He's at the temple gate where he asks for money of those who are going into the temple courts. When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he did what he normally does, which is he asked them for money. And here is where the spirit starts to move. When he saw Peter and John about to enter. This is verse three. He asked them for money. Verse four. Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, look at us. I love this so much. The man already saw the both of them. That's why he asked them for money. This is not a vision problem. Peter, John, you're right there. That's why I'm talking to you. Yet Peter says, look at us. Now when you look up, this word, look, the way it is translated from the Greek, it's not look like with your eyes to perceive, to regard and take heed. So when Peter says, look at us, he's not just saying, look at me with these eyes. I believe he's speaking to something deeper in him. I believe he's speaking to a knower on the inside of him. I need you to use a different level of perception. For the encounter that's about to take place. So you say hey look at us. And there are times where sometimes God has to say hey look at me. Not at my works, not at the thing you want and how what I possibly could give could solve your smaller problem. I need you to just look at me and see this lame man at the gate. As he has been at the gate for so long he's used to seeing passersby and so when Peter John step up he's looking at Peter and John and he's about to ask them for money. But anybody who's seen how the hustle can go I'm looking at you but I see everybody else too. Where my other prospects at? Where my other targets at? I want to make sure that I'm still in line to get more of my lower problem to be solved just in case you don't solve my problem. I still I'm looking around for the other options. You have God in your midst but you're still looking around for the other options. You have the solution for the gravest problem that you have, but you're still looking around for other options. Who else can I ask? Peter said, look at us. I know your eyes are going all over here but I need your spirit to focus here. Verse 4 Peter says look at us and it says so the man gave them his attention expecting to get something from him. Love this gave them his attention. So this man has been begging but he doesn't realize that the most valuable thing that he has to give is his attention. He had something to give and didn't even realize it. And it wasn't until Peter said look at me. Then he realized I have to use what I have in order to see what this encounter will get for me. So instead of scattering and looking around for the next person in case Peter and John say no, all of a sudden he said wait, the most valuable thing I have right now is my focus. Family. The most valuable thing that you have when you're in a posture to receive in an abundant and pour over state is your focus and your attention global Family. What you looking at? Peter says look at us. And he said wait a minute. This lame man said wait, I have attention to give. It's not attention that I mismanaged so much that I don't realize where it's going. I'm not scattered with what's happening with my I'm focused with what I give attention to. So right now we're hone right on in. Peter said, look at us. This man Gives his attention. This word, it means to hold upon, to retain, to pay attention to, to hold to Mark, to stay. So he's not just giving him a little bit of his attention, he's giving him his focus. And his focus is not going to go anywhere until this encounter happens as it is supposed to. And it says also that he looked, he gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them. So we look at this word and it says, yes, expectation. It means he not only expected, he was awaiting something. So now in this encounter, he's being told to look. He takes his focus, he gives his attention. And now there's an expectation that has arise. And it always, as I looked at the other translations, it always says, expecting to get something from them. He asked for money. But there's something about what's happening right now that says, okay, I don't know if it's going to be money or not, but there's something in this for me. Who am I talking to right now? You've been staring at not realizing it was God who was about to work the wondrous work in you and through you by what he has placed in front of you. And you looked at it, asking for one thing, and suddenly you had to back up and say, wait a minute, I've got to switch and narrow my focus and my attention so that now I have a different expectation. In other words, I don't know what this is about to be, but it's going to be something. I don't know why you put this in front of me, Lord, but I now it has my attention, and I have an expectation for it that may be different from what I had before this encounter started. I was so intrigued. It said every time he gave them his attention and it said, expecting to get something, he goes from asking for money to, now he's ready for just about anything. And so now he's expecting something from them. And how you pay attention when you have expectation is different from how you pay attention to when you have no expectations at all. Let me take it to another level. It's different from how you pay attention when you have low expectations. Ooh. Thank you, Holy Ghost. Some of us are investing our focus and attention to things that have low return for us. We have low expectations for it, but it has all of our attention and all of our focus. But we're really not expecting a whole lot from it. And the reason we have low expectations and we allow for it is because if those low expectations aren't met, we don't feel as Rejected. So I'm gonna put my focus on this low, low bar. That way, if it doesn't go the way, oh well, no big deal. That's my favorite one. Watch out for you saying this in an abundant pour over state. No big deal. If this doesn't work out, it's no big deal. So I'm gonna give it my focus and my attention and my time and my energy. I'm gonna give it a shot. I'm just gonna try it and if it doesn't work out, no big deal. There is nothing with God in it. That is no big deal. If he's in it, it's a big deal. And in this season, if it's going to require all of your focus and your attention, it needs to be a big deal. Because if it takes all of your focus and attention for the little deal, the big deal is happening. But your focus and attention is in the wrong place. And now you're not in line to receive what he has for you. So he has brought his attention with the expectation to get something. And I love that he is giving his attention. He was. He gave his attention. At first he had this expectancy of perhaps they will give me money. But now we're seeing the shift start to take place. Always start to pay attention to when the shift in you starts to take place because you've entered into an encounter with a transactional spirit you gave to get. Oh, okay, Holy Ghost. That's. That's wild. Some of us are giving God praise just to get. The hallelujah is loud because you expect to get something louder and bigger back. So the louder you shout and the more you praise him, the more you're thinking about the thing you want from him instead of thinking about him himself. In an abundant season, watch out for the transactional spirit because it will rob us of what we were actually called to receive. But something takes place in this encounter with this lame man and Peter and John, where he goes from this expectation of getting money and receiving something far greater than what he could have imagined. I'm going to keep moving. Verse 6 Love that Peter gets to it. Then Peter said, silver or gold, I do not have, but what I do have, I give you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Walk. This man was introduced as lame. In other words, he could not walk. What did Peter give him? Peter gave him the healing that allowed him to walk. But before we get to the end, I need us to see all of the little shifts that take place just in this one verse. First, Peter level sets I know you want money. Oh, man. When God has to level set. I know you want property. I know you don't want a house. You want that house. I know you want a business, but you don't want the business I have for you, which starts off small, but because you did not despise humble beginnings, he spoke into it because of your diligence and because you were faithful and because you endured. And he spoke into it and it expanded to what he called for it to be. We don't want that one. We want the big one already. He says, wait a minute. There are times where God has to level step with us. That thing that you're praying for, that's not what I'm going to give you. Tough three, people, it's okay. Tough one, it's cool because I've had that happen. Lord, I'm praying for you. He's like, no. Or my personal favorite, silence. Oh, we know that one. We done gone through the entire prayer list and we are expecting to hear a yes. We're expecting the blessing to fly through the door, come through the window. We're looking for the phone call or the DM that's going to answer that specific. He's silent. Peter was not silent. He said, listen, I ain't got no dough. Sorry, I know you came for this. No cheddar here, I ain't got that. But what I do have, I give you. I want to look at this from two perspectives. One, from Peter and John's perspective, you have to know what you do and do not have as you give. Peter and John were well aware we're not ballin like that, but we are rich with something people who encounter us will get to know very soon, known as the Holy Spirit. So this man comes and says, I need money. And they were very upfront. We don't have that, but we know what we have. And when you know what you have, then you can give. And this is why I was talking about the importance of receiving. So in Acts 3, where we are now, Peter and John are walking, minding their business, and a man who is lame asks them for one thing. They gave what they have. How did they get what they have? In Acts 2, they received the Holy Spirit because they decided to labor in a room and wait. Because Jesus gave them a command and they received it and they obeyed it. And they waited in that stuffy hot upper room until the Holy Spirit that he promised came and they received what he had for them. But if they don't have what the Lord gave them if they were not careful to be obedient to the steps that the Word, the living Word gave them. When it was time to encounter the man who is lame at the. At the gate, they have nothing to give them because they ain't got money either. What are we going to do with these two no money and no Holy Spirit. What are we going to give Him? This is why I say it's extremely important for us to remember when it is time for us to receive. We have to get out of our own way and receive and receive in full. Not just for us. There is a lame man that is going to come across your path. There is a very specific person with a very specific need that God is going to cause to come across your path. And if you have been faithful, yes, in giving, but in order to be faithful in giving, you have to be faithful in receiving. Which means I'm not just receiving, but I'm taking note of what it is God has given me. So I know what I have and I know what I don't have. When this man asks for money, I'm not so insecure about the money that I don't have that I forget the riches of the Spirit that God gave me that I do have. I'm giving because I have learned to not only honor God with what I receive, but to take note of it and be ready to give when he calls for me to do so. Them walking in the Holy Spirit saves this man because they received the Holy Spirit and knew when and how to use it. I love that Peter not only level sets, but he doesn't just leave this lame man. You want money? I don't have money. Deuces. I can't help you because the thing you said you want, I don't have. But the thing God said you need, I do have. And that's why I have to learn to receive on a regular basis from my father. Because my Father is going to present people, is going to present nations, is going to present opportunities that have a need for what he has given me. And if I'm still struggling to receive what he already gave me, I can't meet the need that he strategically placed in front of me. We gonna have no more lame men begging after they encounter us. Because from this encounter now we know what it is we carry. And because we are now aware of what it is we carry. And we receive it and receive it in full. We are ready to give and give and in full now I can experience the blessing of being a giver. Because I've been responsible as a receiver. So Peter and John say, well, listen, this is what I have to give you. So from their perspective, they knew what it was they carried. They knew they had the Holy Spirit. And when you have the Holy Spirit, there's nothing that comes in front of you that Holy Spirit cannot meet and fix. Which means whatever they encountered from this point forward, they knew they had the Holy Spirit. Whatever was going to come forward, the Holy Spirit was going to empower them to do that which was necessary for what God brought in front of them. When we have the understanding that as children of the most High God who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, that you are vessels that carry the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will tell you not only what to do, he'll tell you what to say, and he'll tell you what you have that you didn't even know you had. Have you ever given such great advice? You have no idea where it came from? Your friends come to you. I don't know what's going. And in your mind you're like, I don't know what I'm gonna say to this person, Bro, I have no. In your mind. And then all of a sudden you start talking and you start speaking and you listen to yourself talk and your head starts to turn. You're like. And in your head you're like, I can't believe. Where is this coming from? That sounds really good. I might need to follow that for myself. It's called Walking in the Spirit. Because the spirit, and I think I covered this in a word a few weeks ago. The spirit is the master, teacher. The spirit is the one who Watch. This will lead you into knowledge of all things. So when I carry the spirit and I'm brought to an encounter where I have a lame man and he asks me for one thing, the spirit will say, that's not what's going to make this work. That's not the answer to the problem. That's not the solution. And now I have to be obedient enough one to know and have received the spirit and not said, I don't know if I can do it. Whether I can do it or not is not the point. I know he can. And if I just get out of my own way, he's gonna do what he's gonna do. Because me, you come to me and say, hey, I need 25 cent. I'm like, do I have 25 cent? No, I'm sorry, I don't have 25 cents. Now I'm running to the ATM. Let me go get 25 cents. Then I gotta ask somebody for 25 cents. And the Holy Spirit was like, don't give that person 25 cents. Give them food. They're asking for money. Give them food. Give them your food. Oh, nobody's trying to give up brunch. You give them the money. But not my leftovers, not my lobster thermidor. Oh, not my baby back ribs, which tastes better when they're left over a day anyway, because the juice is set. What is the Holy Spirit telling you in a given moment that you have to give? Receiving means I'm responsible enough to say, all right, Holy Ghost, this is what I've got. This is what they're asking for. What are you telling me to give? Sometimes people are asking for one thing, but what they need is something completely different. They're asking for money, and they just want you to look them in the eyes. Because people have walked past them and ignored them and have treated them as if they're in visible. And you who are carrying the Holy Spirit and it's tangible, they don't even know that it's the Holy Spirit. But something has said, ask this person. Because just this encounter where they treat me like a human being and look at me eye to eye, even if they deny what I'm asking for, they're giving me what my heart desires. But you got to know what you have. And we have to be willing to receive and receive in full. I carry the Holy Spirit. I know my resume says I shouldn't carry the Holy Spirit, but I do. I may judge myself, but my Father has not judged me in that way. I carry the Holy Spirit. So I'm looking at this encounter. Silver and gold. I do not have what I do have. I give to you in the name of Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Walk, Peter. Level sets. I don't have that. But what I do have, you are going to receive. And in the name of Jesus, he calls for this man to walk. Now, from the lame man's perspective, you got to understand, he's been asking for money. He wanted money. He sees these two people, he asks them, and they said no. So in real time, he has to navigate the disappointment of not getting what he asks for. Too many times when we encounter God and we have an ask and we ask and he gives a no. We're so disappointed that we didn't get what we want, that instead of keeping the attention focused on him, we lose the attention to focus on him because we're too busy navigating our disappointment and our Disappointment causes us to drift and wander away from him. And now, instead of getting the thing that we need, we've missed out on the whole thing completely. So not only does this man have to navigate his disappointment, but then somewhere in there, Peter tells this man to walk. I'm gonna go to verse seven and then we're done. Verse seven. Taking him by the right hand, he, this is Peter, helped him up, and instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong. So Peter says, in the name of Jesus, walk. So he speaks into him. But he doesn't just speak into him and leave him. He speaks into him and offers him a hand. And somewhere in receiving what it is Peter had, and the hand that came toward him, this lame man was healed. Some of us will receive the Word, but we won't receive the hand. And I believe both were needed because Peter doesn't stick out his hand. Unless this man has a problem getting up. For some of us, it's not going to be enough just to say, be healed in the name of Jesus and leave. For some of you, there is something else that is required from you. You have to stick that hand out. How do you not only speak, but also help? And this lame man, though he had been disappointed from not getting the money that he thought he was going to get, still found something in him to not only receive a word, but to receive the help to then make that word alive in his life. This lame man did not. Well, no longer had a receiving problem, because once that hand came out, he took it hopped up. And if you read the rest of this passage, he starts skipping all over the place. Running, walking, skipping. Everybody's like, wait, that's the guy sitting over there by the gate. Now, he's a gymnast. He was willing to receive. And because he received, he was now able to give those who saw him an understanding of the power of the Holy Spirit. But the way, the reason he was able to receive that is because Peter and John gave from the power of the Holy Spirit for him to receive. And the reason Peter and John were able to give is because they themselves took the time to receive the power of the Holy Spirit for themselves. I need you to receive it. Because if Peter and John don't receive in Acts 2, they have nothing to give in Acts 3. And I don't want anyone in an abundant season not being able to give only because we didn't learn what was keeping us from receiving. So this man receives the help. He walks, he gets up, he's skipping all over the place. And so this is where I want to land, fam. When it is time to give. And by that I mean when God says this is an opportunity where something has been requested from you. Take inventory of what God has already given. You know what the Holy Spirit is saying for you to give and give it, knowing who gave it to you, because that's what receiving in an abundant season looks like. I have it to give, not just because there's so much of it, but I know who gave it to me. I know how powerful he is. I know how he works. He's worked in me in that way. So my prayer is that none of us have receiving issues from this moment forward. That we will receive in full, not only because it's good for us, because it is more blessed to give than to receive. But you cannot give if you don't receive. I don't want to rob you of a blessing. Amen. Stand. Here's what I want to do. There's someone in here and global family. It might be you who needs to go ahead and receive this invitation for what it is. This lame man found himself encountering two very powerful men of God who brought forth an encounter led by the Holy Spirit. Spirit. He didn't know what he was asking for, but he got way more. I want somebody to be bold enough to do the same thing right now. And the encounter I'm talking about is with Jesus. Jesus, the one who died so that Peter and John could have the Holy Spirit to heal a lame man who was at a gate. That's the Jesus I'm talking about. If you're not walking with him, if Jesus is not the one who's leading you through your life, if you have not given your life to. To Christ, go ahead and put your hand up. Let's make that happen right now. I need you to receive that. I don't want you to feel like what you did last night or last week or last month or last season or your whole life disqualifies you. You can just receive him as Lord and Savior right now. It's never too late to receive Jesus. Trust me. I'm 48. I didn't catch him till I was in my 30s. If there is there one. Is there one person who said, you know what? I'm going to make that move today. And if you're not putting up your hand physically, but you're doing it here in your heart, I got you. Say less. I know how hard it is to do this amongst a group of people. I'll still speak into you from this place regardless. All right, so we've all. Was that your hand? No. It's okay. Don't be scared. It wasn't. She was like. She's like, oh, it's okay. You're good. You're good. Spirit of the living God, we are grateful right now that we our organ of perception has been activated, that we will now know you. That we will now know what you have given us to carry. Know who. Who you've given us to carry. And Father, I'm praying from this moment forward for those who are bringing Jesus into their life, whether they are out there on all four corners of the globe or here in this house, Lord, for those who are accepting Jesus, may they accept that they are covered by the blood of the lamb and that not only will they overcome, but they will overcome by the blood of the lamb and that they will continue to move by the word of their testimony which will come forward. Lord, we thank you that right now we have learned to be receivers, that we may be blessed to become givers and that we will bring forth honor and glory with every encounter that you give us, knowing that as we are receivers, you are the one who provides at all times in Jesus name. Amen. Amen.

Receive it! - Ebenezer Quaye
April 27, 2026
In this powerful sermon, Ebenezer Quaye unpacks what it means to truly receive from God, especially in seasons of abundance. Using Acts 3 as his foundation—the story of Peter and John healing a lame man at the temple gate—Quaye shares personal reflections on his own struggle to receive, explains the spiritual dynamics of giving and receiving, and challenges listeners to embrace the gifts God has already placed in their lives. The episode explores how receiving is not just a personal blessing, but a responsibility that enables believers to bless others.
Quote:
"If you aren't able to receive, those who you're called to give to, you won't have anything to give them." (09:45, paraphrasing advice received at birthday dinner)
Quaye invites listeners to receive Jesus, asserting that no past failure disqualifies anyone. He prays that the “organ of perception”—the ability to know God and receive from Him—would be activated in each heart. The episode ends with a blessing for all to step into fullness as both receivers and givers in God’s kingdom.
Receive it! is an invitation to let go of your reluctance, unworthiness, or transactional mindset—and to fully embrace what God freely gives. Only by receiving can you fulfill your calling to give. This episode is a nurturing nudge for all—especially those who find joy in pouring into others but struggle to accept God's abundance for themselves. Receive it—so you can give it!
