What's up guys? Welcome back to another episode of the One Broke Actress podcast. An honest account of actor life, plus a few lessons I learn in the process. I am your host, Sam Valentine and it's been a minute. Hi. This is an off the cuff podcast because I felt the need to say hello, check in, address you and let you know where all of my podcasts are right now, what's going on? And for those of you who just found this and are like this is the wrong episode for me, go about 300 back, there's plenty of content in there for you. Thank you so much for staying subscribed to this podcast. It means so much to me and I am taking a hiatus because we are focused on a couple other things right now. If you guys are looking for weekly podcasts from me, I started a separate podcast called Working Actor Life with Gabrielle, Gabrielle Benloss. If you've heard her on the podcast before, she used to come in and do monthly Working Actor Life episodes with me. We loved doing them so much and after almost 10 years of podcasting alone, it is so nice to have a co host. It's so nice to check in with someone and have some consistency in that manner. That podcast I will link below for you. If you enjoy one Broke Actress, you will enjoy Working Actor Life. It's been really fun to have lively actor conversations consistently and Gab and I talk so much about this career that I thought it would be such a lovely offshoot of what we do in here. Also, if you are subscribed and you haven't yet joined the Patreon podcast, that is the bonus podcast that comes with this channel. Those episodes are very fresh and on the cuff and they are just me explaining things. For example, I just recorded an episode before this. All about the notes I took from my career coaching session and the notes I got from a commercial class I took. Long form content, that kind of stuff is always available in the bonus section. I'm also a SAG signatory podcaster, so those podcast episodes actually go towards paying my SAG AFTRA Insurance and health and they contribute to the overall Actor Union Fund. And I really, really appreciate you guys who are subscribed. If you haven't checked them out, I would love for you to join. There's 106 episodes in there. You can join via Patreon or wherever you get your podcasts and I will link that all below too. But I wanted to let you guys know it's been a really exciting actor year. I've been on hold for three projects and I haven't booked a one. It's been a very busy year in a different capac capacity. But I want to preserve this channel. I'm not quite sure where it's going. I'm not quite sure the future of the one broke actress world brand. I don't know, whatever. It sounds so corny, but I don't want to part ways with it. I want it to exist. I'm figuring out where this podcast exists in my zeitgeist in terms of guest episodes and interviews and long form content. But maybe it goes to YouTube, maybe it lives in that world. I'm just not sure. And in the meantime, I want to direct you to where I am. You can catch me on the Working Afterlife podcast, you can catch me consistently on Instagram and I am also doing episodes every other week for the subscribers to this podcast to the bonus section. Probably no new episodes coming for the rest of 2025 unless you're on the bonus feed. But and in the meantime, I will not see you next week, but I will see you very soon.
