Thank you, to all of our listeners. This is the final episode of season 1, and we're taking a break for a couple of months, after which we'll return to update you with our progress. If this was a 90s TV show, we'd do one of those things where the narrator explains what each character does after the story ends. "After Ozempic Diaries, Charlene gave herself a break, and then returned to the healthy habits she had built during the project. She currently weights 69kg. She also went back to her other two podcasts, The Great Equalizer and TGE's Current Reads. She became immensely successful, launched her own "No Judgies" babywear line, and collected everything she'd learn on TGE into a book of the same name. As for Jon, he knuckled down right before his holiday, getting down to 82 kilograms, hitting that 20kg total loss target. Then he messed it all up on holiday. Then he pulled it back. Then he messed it up again and then he pulled it back! Professionally, he moved on to new podcast production projects, each more interesting than the last, covering topics he cared about. Self-development, travel, business-building, sport, and fiction. He kept using AI generated episode summaries and time stamps in his show notes because nobody has time for that." The End For Two Months Here's the AI-summary: In the final episode of Season 1, Jonathan and Charlene reunite for an honest and heartfelt debrief after six transformative months on Ozempic. They reflect on their personal journeys, the challenges of coming off the medication, and the emotional and psychological complexities of weight management. From discussing surgery recovery and cravings to the role of exercise, discipline, and mental health, this wrap-up episode is packed with vulnerability, practical advice, and a powerful reminder that the journey doesn’t end when the medication does. This week we're catching up after Charlene's family vacation, and talking a bit about how USUALLY a vacation ends with a certain amount of guilt and trepidation as one steps on the scale to check the damage. No longer the case for Charlene. We also cover a special topic this week - Ozempic for folks over 65. I did some digging into the specifics of getting the most out of Ozempic, despite the challenge and necessity of maintaining what muscle mass you still have. Lastly, here's a recipe from our Whatsapp community! Enjoy. 90-Second Keto Bread Recipe: Ingredients: • 3 tablespoons almond flour • ½ teaspoon baking powder • 1 large egg • 1 tablespoon melted butter (or coconut oil) Instructions: 1. In a microwave-safe bowl (approximately 4 inches in diameter), combine the almond flour, baking powder, egg, and melted butter. 2. Whisk the mixture thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined. 3. Microwave the mixture on high for 90 seconds. 4. Carefully remove the bowl from the microwave and let the bread cool slightly. 5. Once cooled, slice the bread in half. For added flavor and texture, you can toast the slices in a skillet with a bit of butter until golden brown. Join our Whatsapp Community · Check out our website · Follow us on Insta
