Judge Me Not!

Alan suggests that these family members maintain a metaphorical “file” filled with recollections of past mistakes and transgressions. He acknowledges that while everyone has their own perspective on these incidents—what one might label as stealing, another may see as borrowing—what remains constant is the weight of these shared histories. Alan emphasizes that navigating these interactions requires understanding and a balanced view of the complex dynamics at play within familial relationships. As a test, consider what you are truly made of and for whose sake you stand when faced with opportunities or obstacles. When you navigate these challenges, reflect on who ultimately wins. If God triumphs through your good deeds, that is a victory. If you succeed by chance, it can feel surprising and wonderful. Yet, the greatest victories are those that come directly from God, marked by a gentle breeze that reminds you, “I love you, I’m with you.” This can happen; it has happened to me, and it can happen to you.
