"Perspectives with Barry Shainbaum" began its first broadcast on Faith FM 94.3 Kitchener, ON. in July 2005. The original mandate was to produce a 30-minute Jewish show.
Perspectives expanded over the next ten years, to become a 60-minute program on all four network radio stations evolving to a show on life and societal issues. Topics included: overcoming mental and physical challenges, Jewish, Israeli, and Middle East issues, the Holocaust, democracy and threats to it, the 9/11 attacks, spiritual issues.musicians and more.
