Episode: Vaccine Preventable Illnesses - Episode 3 - Varicella and Rotavirus

Target Audience: This activity is directed to physicians, medical students, nurse practitioners, nurses, and physician assistants.

Objectives: Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: • Describe Rotavirus and Varicella viruses and their infectivity. • Apply appropriate treatment strategies for Rotavirus and Varicella virus in unvaccinated individuals and evaluate vaccine effectiveness. • Assess the historical effectiveness of Rotavirus and Varicella vaccination in the United States.
