THE WAR between the deep state and President Trump escalated this week when the president declassified documents revealing treasonous acts by elements within the CIA and FBI leading up to the 2020 election.

This is a reminder that presidents don’t have as much control over the United States government as we (or they) think. The irony is that the clever operatives in the intelligence community are not the ones ultimately in control of world events. As Paul wrote to the church at Ephesus, "we wrestle not against flesh and blood."

In other words, events in the news are simply shadows of the real struggle taking place in the unseen realm.
