My client Zohreh struggled for a number of years without sustained success in losing weight. She also was dealing with health issues like high cholesterol and has a strong family history of diabetes and heart attacks. On top of that, she juggles a full-time job with long commutes. Yet, Zohreh wanted to make a shift - a REAL one - in her weight and health. So she did. She reached out to me and we began working together. Have you ever tried to lose weight…then got frustrated when the results didn’t stick? That was certainly the case for my client Zohreh. She had tried different diets in the past, but none seemed to give her the sustained results she desired. Until she came to plant-based eating. Coming from many years of eating a pescatarian diet, Zohreh thought making this transition would (and should) be easy. But she ended up feeling lost and unsure of how to best eat on a plant-based diet, to reach her desired goals of losing weight and reducing her risk of diabetes, heart attacks and other health problems.
