This is Play That Rock n' Roll's interview with DARREN HILL the bassist of RED ROCKERS, about the band's new LIVE album, "IT'S IN OUR BLOOD". This live album (and concert film) comes from a special reunion show Red Rockers played in 2023, which was their first time playing together in nearly 40 years. In this conversation, we talk about how this reunion concert went and what it meant to Darren to play with his RED ROCKERS bandmates for the first time in nearly 40 years. We also discuss the band’s original run in the early ‘80s, which included touring with the Clash and scoring a hit on MTV. Darren also tells me about his work in artist management, as he has managed several legendary acts like The Replacements and Roky Erickson. Plus he even shares his memories of touring with Warren Zevon, with his other band the Raindogs. This is my retrospective of the iconic LETHAL WEAPON film franchise, as well as my arguments for why a fifth film is not needed (or wanted!).
