My name is Padrego Toma and over the summer I was having a pressured week and an idea came to me that rather than let the pressure get to me, I should go and read and memorize a poem. So I did. On a complicated Thursday I took lunch and memorized a poem over 40 minutes and it changed me and I still return back to that poem. Poems are a vehicle that can carry us, carry our feelings, carry our experiences, and might help focus us a little. So we are delighted that poetry in Bound Season 9 starts back on Monday, December 2nd, and we have lots of poems about strong feelings in this season 14 episodes. Feelings of regret or confusion or connection or fights or rage or love. All these vehicles for containing what it is we experience and helping us put some shape to the languages that are in us. So tune in wherever you get your podcasts and we'll be back on December 2nd with season nine of Portrait Unbound. See you next week.
