Darrell
Ever since I had two UFO sightings a long time ago, very close, in broad daylight, I started doing research on what that was all about. Because once you see something like that, it changes your entire world.
Podcast Guest
Right.
Darrell
You know that reality is something more than what you were taught. So in doing the research, I came across other metaphysical books, you know, the Seth material, about channeling and stuff like that. So by the time I was introduced to the class where the channel was teaching channeling, I already knew what channeling was, but I didn't think I was going to become a channel. I just wanted to do more research about how channeling could be taught. Because the books I had read and the people I knew that channeled, they were basically saying, well, it's just something that sort of happened to them out of the blue. I didn't think it was something that you could teach someone. But in that class under the guided meditations, that's when the telepathic connection was made. And I understood that I had made this agreement with Bashar to do this in this life, and that the UFOs had been shown to me to get me to start doing the research, so that by the time I was supposed to start, I would be better prepared.
Podcast Guest
Wow. Okay. So that's really interesting to me because, I mean, you went were. We went from pretty much being. You're in film school.
Darrell
Not film school, the film industry.
Podcast Guest
Oh, you were in the film industry?
Darrell
Yeah.
Podcast Guest
And you went from being in the film industry to then seeing the UFOs, which.
Darrell
No, I wasn't film industry yet. I was in the graphic industry.
Podcast Guest
When you saw the UFO, but I
Darrell
had the UFOs, and then I went into the film industry a few years later.
Podcast Guest
Wow.
Darrell
Yeah. And coincidentally, yeah. The first project I actually worked on in television was called Project ufo.
Podcast Guest
Oh, my God. All synchronistically.
Darrell
Yeah. Yeah. So that was weird. But then I started working on, you know, bigger sci fi and action movies and stuff.
Portal to Ascension Host
Wow.
Podcast Guest
So, I mean, that in itself shows. It was like almost like a. You got a preview.
Darrell
Exactly. And I was even able. Because a lot of times, you know, back then they wouldn't they didn't have AI, they didn't have graphics. So we made miniatures of the UFOs for the reports that they were trying to televise, right? And at one point they didn't have an idea of what this UFO was supposed to look like. And, and so I said, well, I saw one and they let me actually make a model of what I saw. And they used that in the TV episode.
Podcast Guest
That is fun. That is super cool. See, things like that are just so interesting to me. I was just talking to Paul earlier, right? And Paul was telling me about how similar things, like in retrospect, right? Everything just has its place.
Darrell
Absolutely. And that's how I even got into the industry because I, I wanted to make miniatures for films, but nobody was hiring, right? So at that point I, I met the people that worked on Star Wars. They had just finished making all of those models, right? And they said, well, yeah, you know, we made these models for this film that's going to come out in six months called Star wars and oh, what's that? You know? And then of course, when it came
Podcast Guest
out, I was like, oh my God,
Darrell
now I have to get into this industry. So. But no one was hiring. So the theaters, because the lines were around the block, right? Because it was such a blockbuster, they said, we'll hire anyone on the spot who'll come and work at the theater and help us with the lines. So I said, okay, you know what, I'll go down and I'll get that job. Because if I'm working at the theater, I can watch the film for free as many times as I want. So I can figure out how they did all that, right? So I was there for about six months. Only once, for 20 minutes, did the person taking the tickets at the front door ask me to take the tickets for him because he was going on a break during that one 20 minutes. A technician from Star wars that I recognized came to see the movie and I started talking to him and he got me the interview with the person who ultimately hired me and started on the ground floor of another special effects thing because the person had a job, but he had no crew. So I became the first member of his crew. So if I hadn't gone and watched the movie and been hired, I never would have met him, I never would have gotten that job. So it was real synchronicity.
Podcast Guest
That is so cool. So literally just off of someone taking a 20 minute break, I got that
Darrell
job and got into the industry.
Podcast Guest
Wow, that's so magical, you know, like Something. I got into this entire space. First listened to Abraham. And then while listening to Abraham, I had no idea who she was. Like, I literally had a friend who was like, I listen to these. These cartoon videos and they give me some. Some insight, right?
Darrell
Yeah.
Podcast Guest
And I'm like, okay, okay. And then. And then I started listening to them, and then I would find it so hard to like. Like, be attentive to it because it's like. It's like talking in loops. And I'm like, ah, yeah, you gotta train your ear. You're right. To listen to it. And then. But here and there, you'd still get, like, a couple of really interesting nuggets, right? So I. That's how it all started. And then I was. I started listening deeper and deeper. Then all of a sudden, one day, my YouTube algorithm was like, so into the fact that I'm into. This video of you popped up. I had no idea. I think it was just on autoplay and it just played. And I'm like. I'm like, what's going on over here?
Portal to Ascension Host
Right?
Podcast Guest
And then I start listening and I'm like, wait a second.
Darrell
Who's this crazy guy?
Podcast Guest
Who's this guy? And then I'm like, but this is interesting to me because this is talking about some of the same things Abraham is talking about. But I'm like, But I actually understand this. I'm like. I'm like, this is pretty direct. I'm like, I actually kind of like this.
Darrell
Yeah, that's what I like about Bashar's delivery is he's very down to earth, right?
Podcast Guest
Very. But what's interesting to me is, like, at the time, I had no idea about. I'd never heard the word channeling. I had no idea what was going on. I was just. I was just listening to you talk because I didn't know the distinguishing between you and Bashar either. I was like, this guy is a genius, right? I was like, I really like his stuff.
Darrell
Thank you.
Podcast Guest
Of course. And then the deeper I got. And then came the. The alien and the UFO stuff.
Darrell
And I'm like, okay, that's another level. Yeah.
Podcast Guest
I'm like, that's a different level. And then, funny enough, January of last year, I was like, okay. After listening to. To everything that Bashar had been saying, I was like, I wanted to. I wanted to know. Like, I started implementing it, and I started seeing my life shift. I'm like. I was like, I, you know, I want to go experience this in person. So I came for channel panel in 2025. January and that is where everything kind of just fell into place for me.
Darrell
Here you are and here I am.
Portal to Ascension Host
Right.
Podcast Guest
And you're later. But what's magical about this is at the time, I was, like, religiously listening to everything Bashar related. And when I came, I was able to ask Bashar a question. And after I did my question to him, I asked him two questions. The first question was, what's a question that you haven't been asked before that's in humanity's highest interest? And he said, how do I better understand the formula? And then I said, well, what's the answer to that question? And he said, well, that's why Darrel is throwing workshops, to be able to explain that deeper and better. And the second question was, how do I get into the same state of being to be able to access the Akashic records so I can download information just like you can.
Darrell
Right.
Podcast Guest
And then taught me how to start channeling? So I started slowly doing this, which just completely shifted my life. But why I'm telling you this is at that point I was told. I was like, I got a message that said, okay, now your period listening to Bashar is on hold right now. You got to start listening to Darrell.
Darrell
Right.
Podcast Guest
And then that's when things are really interesting, because I started really deep diving and thinking. And I'm like, wait a second. Bashar has access to the architectural records. He has access to all this information.
Darrell
Right.
Podcast Guest
Which is great. But he. I'm sure, at least in my perspective, I would think that he wouldn't know what it would feel like to be a human being and go through our human experience in our emotions and everything,
Darrell
that we have human incarnations, too.
Podcast Guest
Ah.
Darrell
They have actually said, especially as a first contact specialist.
Podcast Guest
Yeah.
Darrell
They always have an incarnation in the civilization that they're going to contact so that they can understand them before they do.
Podcast Guest
Wow. So, yeah, I did not know that. That's super cool. So, leading to this, the reason I was asking that is because when I started studying the stuff that you were talking about, I was like, this is just awesome. And I was double confirmed that you were a genius.
Darrell
Yeah. Thank you.
Podcast Guest
And I believe so. So my, you know, question that I have is, like, throughout all these years, channeling and learning all this information, what would you say, like, was, like, the things that you learned? Right. Which kind of completely shifted. I mean, of course, the formula. Right. But other than other than the formula, what else have you personally learned and implemented in your life in terms of, like, practical things?
Darrell
Well, again, I've Understood that it really is all about service, that we're here, as I said in the lecture, to have kind of a two part path. We have a physical personality to learn lessons, and we have the soul to be of service, to help what we've learned with our lessons to help others. So that's what really rounds out a person, makes us more emotionally balanced, makes us be able to attract what we need more synchronistically. So doing the actions that are representative of your passion really is of paramount importance. Because I know that a lot of times people talk about, you know, and we've heard it for years, you know, follow your bliss, follow your dreams, follow your passion. But no one's really, except for, as far as I know, Bashar explained, why is that important? Why does that work? And it's because that is the sensation of the message that's coming from the deepest part of our soul saying, this is your path, this is who you are. This is how you can best learn your lessons and best be of service to others, which is the whole point. So I think that one concept more than anything else changed everything in my life and how I relate to and experience physical reality more smoothly, with more flow, with more synchronicity. I mean, sometimes the synchronicity is crazy, right? It's so magical, you know? So, yeah, I mean, that I'd say is the one single most important thing.
Podcast Guest
So, like, something that I, when I was like learning the formula deeper and deeper and deeper, I was doing exactly what he said, okay, what's the next most exciting thing to me? What's the next most exciting thing to me? But then, like, I was trying to figure out the balance of always doing something that's exciting me versus trying to maintain my life and doing the things which I know I have to do to maintain it.
Darrell
But why isn't that exciting too? See, that's the thing I learned is if there are things that are necessary for you to do to thrive in physical reality because you've chosen to be here and participate in this, how can you use your creative imagination to make the things that need to be done exciting? So, for example, for example, a lot of people will say, oh, you know, I. I really hate having to wash the dishes, right? But what I do is I treat it like a meditation. There's warm water running over my hands as I'm washing the dishes. So I go into a meditative state and it's very pleasant. And I can get ideas that way just by staring out the window at what's going on outside as I'm washing the dishes. Before I know it, it's all done. And I've been in this wonderful meditative state. So you have to apply your creative imagination and find the way that works for you to do the things that need to be done in physical reality. So you have to do that with everything.
Podcast Guest
That's so cool. So I didn't know this part, Right. Like, I'd heard about it, but I'm like, how is it that you, like, do it? Cause, like, so many maintenance things and you know.
Darrell
Yeah, you have to learn, define things in a positive way from the get go. If it's something that truly needs to be done, if it's something that's truly part of your responsibility, there's always going to be a way to do it that makes sense. And sometimes the way to do it is asking someone to help you. That's still you doing it because you're willing to ask for help. And that doesn't mean you have to do everything yourself. It just means that you have to find the creative way to get it done. And sometimes that's doing it yourself, and sometimes that's asking someone to help you. So you have to have an expanded imagination to look for all the ways, oh, I wonder if it can be done like this. Or I wonder if it can be done like that. Or how can I define this? If it needs to be done in a way that works for me, in a way that's positive. And you just have to have a really expanded creative imagination so that you're not stuck in this little. Oh, everyone knows this is drudgery, right? But no, not everyone does know that. You can't make those automatic assumptions that lock you into a negative definition before you even start. Because then you think, well, there is only one way to do this. There's never only one way to do something, but there is always the way that works for you.
Podcast Guest
I love that you said that. My first talk that I gave, I said something really interesting that I got downloaded to me. I said, there are 8 billion people on Earth with 8 billion unique fingerprints.
Darrell
Exactly.
Podcast Guest
And 8 billion unique parts.
Darrell
Exactly.
Podcast Guest
And I think we all have our own fingerprint to be able to leave our own mark in our own path.
Darrell
Yeah, absolutely. I mean, that's the wonderful advantage of having such a diverse culture is you get to see things and learn things and experience things from so many different points of view. It enriches what we're capable of thinking of. You know, oh, look at the way that person did that. That's really weird. Weird. I didn't think about that. I mean, in even talking about the escape room that I have, that's the most fascinating thing about it is watching all the different ways people have of solving the same puzzle. And you're going, wow, I never thought of that. You know, and then sometimes you have to change the puzzle because they thought of something that. That makes it so they don't have to actually solve the puzzle because they figured out a way around it. And you're going, okay, that was really clever. Now I have to adjust it so that they can't do that again. But I learned something about thinking outside the box.
Podcast Guest
Wow.
Darrell
You know, because people come at it from all sorts of different perspectives. And that's the fascinating thing is watching the psychology when people are playing the game and goes, wow, that's really interesting,
Podcast Guest
you know, wow, that's really, really cool. I mean, just to even think about that. But at. But really understand that it just takes you to a whole different depth of experience and life.
Darrell
Absolutely, absolutely. You know, and it also can be used for people who are, you know, they don't think they can do it, you know, something that they want to do. And it's like, well, look around. Is someone doing something similar to what you want? Look at what they're doing. Be inspired by what they're doing and how they're doing it. And if they can do it, you can do it too, or you wouldn't be exposed to them doing it. If you can see them doing it now, you may not do it the way they do it, but the fact that they're doing it and they're doing it and they're doing it means you have three unique ways of seeing how something can be done. So why can't you add the fourth unique way?
Podcast Guest
Wow. Now that's super cool. So my way of trying to give back is through Inspire3 primarily. And now Mind Movies. I'm sure you know Natalie Ledwell and Glenn from Mind Movies. Have you. I'm sure you've. You've come across them. But, you know, one of the things that, like, as I build this, like, I'm learning, is I'm trying to keep the formula in mind as much as I can to be able to.
Darrell
It just takes practice.
Podcast Guest
It just takes. It just takes practice. And that's it.
Darrell
Like anything, playing the piano takes practice.
Podcast Guest
That's it.
Darrell
Just get better and better.
Podcast Guest
Better, better and better. It becomes automatic eventually, you know. And so Inspire 3 is called Inspire 3 because one person is an idea. Two people is a conversation. Three people is a movement. So be an individual that inspires three people around. Exactly right. So take care of your mind, your body and your spirit. Like, again, do the things that light your soul on fire, right?
Darrell
Yeah, yeah.
Podcast Guest
And chance for that.
Darrell
And that follows the basic pattern of existence. Because this is not actually a duality, it's a trinity. There's always something in the middle.
Podcast Guest
I love that. I love that. You know, there's a lot of hardships that I know I had to go through in order for me to get here. And I'm sure that you had your.
Darrell
We all have challenges. That's how we grow. It just depends on how you face the challenge.
Podcast Guest
Right. So these challenges that you've gone through, if you don't mind sharing, I'd be curious to see some of the hardships that you have faced over the last few years and how you've learned to navigate through them. I'd be curious.
Darrell
Well, I don't experience too many anymore.
Podcast Guest
I need to get to that point
Darrell
because of the fact that I'm used to understanding how to quickly apply what Bashar has been talking about in my life. It's not that I don't have challenges at all. I mean, you know, a lot of my friends have passed on. I miss them. But then you start opening up to the idea that you can still connect, you know, you can still feel them, you can still communicate in some way, shape or form. So I can face the challenge of not having them physically in my life by stretching my senses and understanding that they're doing something different at this particular point and sort of trying to key into, you know, how they made me feel, you know, how why I love them, you know, and all of that and just the idea of starting a business like the escape room, I mean, that was very challenging. But I've always just leapt at creative challenges just because I know I can find a way to make it work. I just know that now. So it's still challenging to do it. And you have to rethink and rethink and rethink. But the thing of it is, I've learned to enjoy that process.
Podcast Guest
That's amazing.
Darrell
So what most people might find to be a struggle, I have turned into something that allows me to see things from different perspectives. And I really learn how to do things differently. So that when people come into the escape room and play the games, they see things done like they've never seen in any other escape room. Because I've taken the time to really look at all the different ways that something like this can be done, by not getting it right the first time or the second. Right. Or the third time, but finally realizing through all the feedback what it is that it needs to happen and turning it into something else, you know, so it's all a process and it's all creative and it's all fun.
Podcast Guest
So you've practiced the formula. So much so that now it's just second nature. That's fine.
Darrell
First nature.
Podcast Guest
I love that.
Darrell
Yeah.
Podcast Guest
First nature.
Darrell
First nature.
Podcast Guest
Because that's the route.
Darrell
Yeah. I mean, you know, I've been doing this for 4, 42 years, so I would hope I've learned something by now.
Podcast Guest
Right. That makes a lot of sense. And through, like I said, just the repetition of doing it over and over
Darrell
again, almost like anything.
Podcast Guest
Like anything in life. So I'll be curious. So in terms of. I'm 22. Right. And I just turned 27.
Darrell
Congratulations.
Podcast Guest
Thank you.
Darrell
Happy birthday.
Podcast Guest
I appreciate that. Last time we actually met was on my birthday.
Darrell
Oh, there you go. Yeah.
Podcast Guest
Yeah. So one of the things is, as I am, as I'm growing up, still in the process of it, and I'm learning a lot of things. I'm going through a lot of peaks and valleys, of emotions, and just learning about everything around me. I'm sure you went through the same.
Darrell
Of course, none of this really existed when I was growing up.
Podcast Guest
Right. Right now it's a whole different world.
Darrell
Totally.
Podcast Guest
So how have. What advice would you have for someone like me? That's kind of like learning. Learning how to live right. In itself. Right. Going through these peaks and valleys in general.
Darrell
Yeah. I mean, it's okay to feel what you're feeling. Just know again, there's always a lesson in it that you will benefit from. When you go through the process. It's okay to go through process. Process is the point. It's why we're here. To experience process. To have an experience and emotion for a human is part of that. And that's okay. It will allow you to really get familiar with how you can feel about things. But at the same time, you don't become so much reactive to things as you become responsive to it. And this goes along with the idea of being responsible not for others, but to others, to be your authentic self. So it's okay to go through whatever you're going through as a process to get a handle on why you feel the way you feel about things. But it's also an opportunity to understand, why do I feel the way I feel about things? Because you may not know that some of the definitions you're applying to things that you learned growing up to this point may have been given to you by other people. Your parents, your school, your society, your friends. And so it's an opportunity when you feel something to go, okay, I acknowledge the feeling. I'm not trying to get rid of the feeling. But why do I feel that? Why am I reacting that way to this? Is there an issue in me? Did I learn something that doesn't serve me? Is this a definition that doesn't work for me, why I'm reacting to this? It tells you something about yourself, but it tells you more about what you bought into as belief systems so that you understand what the emotion is coming from. Because emotions can't happen in a vacuum. You have to believe something to be true before you can feel anything about it.
Podcast Guest
Wow.
Darrell
So let's say, if I gave you a word like let's say no ad, do you know what a no ad is? How do you feel about no ad?
Podcast Guest
Very neutral.
Darrell
You don't know.
Podcast Guest
I don't know.
Darrell
Because you don't have a definition, Right? Okay, now if I tell you no ad is an execution by drowning, now you feel the emotion.
Podcast Guest
Yeah.
Darrell
Because you have a definition. Wow. So if you feel an emotion, look for the definition that created it. If you feel that it's something you would like to change, you have to change the definition. But you cannot have an emotion in a vacuum. You have to have a definition that you believe in first. And that's why when you feel something or behave some way, or think something, you can always trace it backwards. What would I have to believe is true about myself in the situation to feel, think, and behave this way? Because the belief and the definition is the blueprint. And emotions and thoughts and behaviors are used to reinforce the idea that the belief is real. Because remember, physical reality is our projection. It's not real.
Podcast Guest
Right.
Darrell
So beliefs have to reinforce themselves by making you feel that they're real, think that they're real, and behave that they're real. So you'll get the reflection that reinforces the reality that you have bought into. But if you change that belief, you get different feelings, different thoughts, different behaviors, and you get a different reflection in reality. Because it all starts with the belief, which is the blueprint. So when you know that you can't have a behavior or a thought or a feeling without first believing something to be true, then any behavior, thought, or feeling you have can always be traced back and say, what would I have to believe is true? In order to have this. Because I can't have these without having the belief first.
Podcast Guest
Interesting. So that makes a lot of sense.
Darrell
I know.
Podcast Guest
It's how it works, right?
Darrell
That's what Bashar usually always says. He says, when you understand how reality works, then you're free because you understand the mechanism and you can work with it. You have something to. You're not just lost, like, oh, I don't know why I feel this way.
Podcast Guest
Right.
Darrell
You just go, I feel this way because I must believe something that generates this. Now you have something to work with. So it's not a denial of your feeling. It's using the feeling to figure out, what do I believe to be true about myself in this situation? Am I buying into what these people are telling me.
Podcast Guest
Wow.
Darrell
About myself? Am I judging myself? Because they're judging me, and I believe what they're saying about me? Because that's the only way you would react. Because if a perfect stranger came up to you on the street and said, you know, I really hate those socks you're wearing, well, it's like, well, you don't know me. You're a perfect stranger. I have no connection to you. Why would I even react to you? You're just a weird stranger.
Podcast Guest
Right.
Darrell
But we give more to people that we know. But why? Because they're not you. They're not living your life.
Podcast Guest
Wow.
Darrell
So even though they may judge you, usually, I mean, you can always say, okay, does this person have something that I need to take as advice that I can use to improve myself? But if that's not the case, if you can't find any way to take what they're saying and improve yourself, then what you have to know is this is their issue they're projecting onto you because they're afraid to deal with it in themselves. And they're using you as a springboard to not have to face themselves by judging you because you remind them of something they're unwilling to look at within themselves.
Podcast Guest
Wow, Darrell, this is so insanely synchronistic, this conversation. And you telling me this. Because this is literally what I'm facing in life right now. You hit it right on the nail. Because I've been going through this thing where I'm in a phase of growing and learning so much. So I'm very receptive to everyone that I have around me because I want to just constantly be a better version of myself.
Darrell
Yes, but you have to make sure you have your own barriers and filters to that, too, because you have your ability to decide what is true. For you, you don't have to take everything.
Podcast Guest
Right.
Darrell
You have to decide, okay, is there some advice here that helps me or not? And as long as you're honest with yourself, you'll see, okay, they have a point. Maybe I could improve this or improve that. That's fine. But then there's a point at which you go, that just isn't me. They're not describing me. This must be their issue. And then you can take it and take this and leave that. You have the right to filter it. Wow.
Podcast Guest
See, that's. That's. See, this is so interesting. I just was talking about this last week. Is like, this is true self love, which is boundaries.
Darrell
Absolutely. Boundaries is true self love. You have to respect yourself too. You respect others, but you respect yourself. Because if you don't take care of yourself, you can't help anyone else.
Podcast Guest
Boom. And that's what I've been facing. Like, how having that boundary with someone. Because recently I went through an experience with someone who I really love. Right. And is really close to me. And they're, you know, very successful in terms of monetary business in their life. And he was mentoring me and teaching me a lot of stuff. But his delivery method for his advice always was a little derogatory.
Darrell
Right. So, you know, that's. That's the style they've learned, maybe, because that was done to them.
Podcast Guest
Right.
Darrell
And so you can say, you know, I love what you're saying to me, and I'm learning from it. I would appreciate it if you could do it in a slightly different style, because that's the way I receive things. Better. And if you want me to receive the information in a better way, I would suggest maybe this style of telling it to me, because I'll still absorb what you have to say, because I respect what you have to say. But I would appreciate it if it would come more in this style. I guarantee you it will be more effective for me.
Podcast Guest
Wow.
Darrell
Now if they're not willing to do that, that's your first clue that maybe that mentorship is done for.
Podcast Guest
Then that's what I learned.
Darrell
Yeah.
Podcast Guest
And it's just like they came into my life to teach me this lesson of boundary because I was. I'm like a sponge when I want to learn. I just want to, like, I just absorb everything.
Darrell
Yeah.
Podcast Guest
But that's an issue because I can't absorb everything. I got to have that.
Darrell
Not everything is relevant for you.
Podcast Guest
Right. And it's such a crucial thing that you're. That you're saying, yeah, discernment is Very important.
Darrell
What is me and what is not. Because who am I? That's what you're trying to be. Who am I? And that's, again, why it's important to follow your passion, because that tells you who you really are when you use the whole formula. But a lot of it has to do with this. You know, you have to have discernment about what is true for you and what is not. What is that?
Podcast Guest
Yeah. And this is this question that I've been exploring. Who really am I? What are my values, my principles? What do I. What do I accept versus what do I reject? Yeah, right.
Darrell
And you may. You may change your mind later, and that's okay.
Podcast Guest
Yeah.
Darrell
But you may not be ready for it now, or at least not in this way and not at this time, you know, and that's okay. It's your life. You get to decide what the time,
Podcast Guest
what to do with it. That's so cool. A couple things you just said earlier. My question to Bashar initially was, what's the question that's never been asked? So his question was, how do I better understand the formula? How do you better understand the formula?
Darrell
Well, you have to really understand each nuance and what it really means, each of the five sections and what it really means. And in some ways, we've been talking about that, so it's really digging down and not just leaving it on the surface. Because it's again, it's like, well, like we said, what is passion? Why is that important? You know, why is it important not to assume or insist on an outcome? You know, because your physical mind can only imagine so many things, and it doesn't necessarily have the ideal outcome in mind. It might, but it might not. And so if you understand that insistence is actually potentially a limitation on what could happen, you'll stop insisting. Because you realize that your soul could actually bring you something better than your physical mind was capable of imagining. And when you understand it from that point of view, then you will stop insisting because you will trust the way your life unfolds and you will respond to whatever happens as if that's the most important thing happening and not be impatient to get somewhere else. So it's again, it's really understanding all the nuances that are embedded in the formula. So the formula is just an overview. And that's one of the reasons why I want to do the class, because people need to understand all of the actual nuances that go with every single step so that they have a very complete understanding of how it works and why it's so advantageous for them.
Podcast Guest
So are you conducting that class right now?
Darrell
Well, again, I'm doing these segments here and there. The whole class. I did once, many years ago. We're doing it again at some point, maybe at the end of this year or next year. And that'll be advertised on the Bashar.org website when we do. But yeah, I'm very excited about doing that whole class because it really gives people a chance to dig down deeply into the concepts that they can't get in a 90 minute channel.
Podcast Guest
Channeling. Right. Which makes a lot of sense. You said earlier you get the. You have to find what do you believe about yourself? Do you find what it is? The definition is, so what? Afterwards, let's say I found out, okay, I believe that I feel like I'm not worthy enough.
Darrell
Okay, well then you go into the whole concept of what does it mean that you're not worthy? You do exist. And that means obviously creation needs you to exist because it doesn't make mistakes. So if you exist and you're part of creation, doesn't that mean that creation finds you worthy? So if you're saying I'm not worthy, you're arguing with creation. That's an argument I guarantee you will never win. So some things are kind of obvious when you learn how to look at them in an obvious way. Your existence itself proves your worth. Because again, creation doesn't make mistakes. If you exist, it must mean you need to exist for creation to be everything that it needs to be. So you're an important part of it. And therefore you're worthy on the face of your existence. Now it's up to you to understand that. But again, anything that creation didn't need doesn't exist. So if you exist, it needs you to.
Podcast Guest
Interesting.
Darrell
And therefore you're worthy of your existence. So stop arguing with creation about your worth.
Podcast Guest
So is, would you say you go about rewiring this subconscious limiting belief?
Darrell
I would say anytime you adopt a new concept, yeah. Your brain automatically rewires to that concept. Then the more you practice it, the more hardwired it gets.
Podcast Guest
So repetition of the same thing.
Darrell
Once you have the concept that works for you, repetition hardwires it into your brain. Because your brain wiring changes with every new concept and every new thought you have. It's very plastic. But when you start getting a concept that works for you and keep doing it, it hardwires that in. So that's when it becomes first nature. You just automatically go down that path. You can't even imagine going down Another path. It doesn't make sense to go down another path. This is what Bashar's explained. In their society, they have been choosing these positive ideas for so long, it's actually a challenge for them to choose something negative. They just can't do it. There's too much inertia in the positive direction. It would actually be a struggle for them to choose something negative now because they've been doing it for so long. It just doesn't make sense.
Podcast Guest
Wow.
Darrell
You get to that point where, why don't you choose that? It doesn't make sense to choose that. Because I understand how things work. Why would I choose that?
Podcast Guest
Right.
Darrell
It's like.
Podcast Guest
Right? No, it makes sense.
Darrell
Becomes obvious. It just doesn't make sense.
Podcast Guest
Wow. So. So would you say, like, subliminal audios? Like, listening to something like that would.
Darrell
Whatever permission slip works for you. Whatever you're attracted to use, you're attracted to because it will probably work for you. That's why you're attracted to use it, because it works with your belief system. But it's just you giving yourself permission to be more of who you are. You're still doing it. You're using a technique to do it. That's fine. A crystal. Whatever it is, doesn't matter. They're all permission slips that give you permission to be more of who you are. Once you realize you're the one giving yourself permission, you don't need the object anymore or the technique anymore. You just make a decision. This is who I prefer to be. You just do it.
Portal to Ascension Host
Whoa.
Darrell
So you become your own permission slip.
Podcast Guest
Ultimately, that is absolutely phenomenal. Wow. I think you just rewired my brain through this entire conversation. That's super cool to wrap up. One of the things that I first found when I was listening to a ton of videos was that all I could necessarily find was kind of Q and A of people asking questions. And a lot of them are really repetitive.
Darrell
Yeah. Because a lot of people may be new to this and need to ask the same question.
Podcast Guest
The same question. So I always wondered if there was some sort of sequence of things to listen to or some sort of a map or a starting point for anyone that has no idea about Bashar's work.
Darrell
Well, that would probably be a better question for the people that are actually archiving Bashar stuff, because I'm not as familiar with what they've created as a beginning set for people that are new to this as they are. So talking to April or Bashar Communications would probably answer that question better than I can Answer it, because I don't know where they've archived certain things and how they organized it.
Podcast Guest
Okay, so then last question will be, where can anyone learn more from Daryl?
Darrell
Well, again, anything that we're doing that's connected to this information will be announced through Bashar.org.
Podcast Guest
are you planning on doing anything by yourself, like talking about lectures and stuff?
Darrell
Well, that's right now. That's what I'm saying. I'm doing segments of the class that I ultimately will be doing as a whole class, but that'll still be advertised
Podcast Guest
through Bashar.org and would those be. Are those workshops and stuff available online for people to get as well?
Darrell
Well, they're only connected to these events right now, so if it's part of the event, it's available that way. Or again through Bashar.org if we're the ones that have recorded it.
Podcast Guest
Okay.
Darrell
Yeah.
Podcast Guest
I'm super excited to honestly go through this entire thing because I want to. I want to. I want to be there for the class. That sounds absolutely awesome.
Darrell
Yeah.
Podcast Guest
So I'm super excited for that.
Portal to Ascension Host
Yeah.
Podcast Guest
Do you have any final words to the younger generations that have. No. You know, that are just stepping into this entire world?
Darrell
Well, you know, it's very important to remain grounded and practical in your exploration of spirituality, because the more grounded you are, the more you're connecting to physical reality through nature, through whatever, the easier it is to explore higher frequencies while you're here. Because it's a balancing act. You have to stay in balance. It's not about just like going, you know, and flipping out and doing this. You have chosen to be here. You have chosen to be in physical reality. So you have to honor that as part of spirituality. It's no less spiritual than the things you may be exploring that seem more spiritual. But this is an extremely spiritual experience. You have to honor and respect it for that. Stay grounded, and that will actually allow you to balance everything in a way where it's going to be easier for you to connect to spirit as well.
Podcast Guest
So practical things. Are there any particular practical things?
Darrell
No. Again, it's like I said, the things that you need to do to thrive in physical reality, find a way to make them work for you. Find a way to do them in a way that's exciting. So it's just about not running away from physical reality, but bringing the things you're learning about spirituality down into physical reality and be of service to others to make it all work easier for everyone. Wow.
Podcast Guest
Well, that's fabulous advice. Thank you so much for being on Darrell kicking me out?
Darrell
Absolutely. Thank you.

Host: Neil Gaur
Main Guest: Darryl Anka (Channel for Bashar)
Date: August 6, 2026
This episode explores how direct, personal UFO experiences led Darryl Anka not only to question consensus reality but to a path of metaphysical exploration, channeling, and the foundational philosophy behind Bashar’s teachings. The conversation covers synchronicities that shaped Darryl’s career, practical steps for applying “the formula” in daily life, the balance of spirituality and grounded action, and the mechanics of belief, boundaries, and self-discovery for seekers of all ages.
Core teaching: Human experience is a two-part path—personal growth and service to others.
Passion as guidance:
Practicality: Even mundane tasks can be made exciting through creative reframing and mindfulness (e.g., washing dishes as meditation).
Darryl’s approach to challenges has shifted: Rather than seeing problems as struggles, they become opportunities for new solutions and perspectives.
On loss and grief:
Use repetition of chosen new beliefs to hardwire neural pathways, making positive responses automatic.
On permission slips (techniques, tools): All are ultimately props for giving yourself permission, but realization comes when you internalize that power.
Darryl (02:52):
“I saw one and they let me actually make a model of what I saw. And they used that in the TV episode.”
Darryl (11:31):
“This is your path, this is who you are. This is how you can best learn your lessons and best be of service to others, which is the whole point.”
Darryl (24:19):
“Emotions can’t happen in a vacuum. You have to believe something to be true before you can feel anything about it.”
Darryl (29:19):
“Boundaries is true self love. ... If you don’t take care of yourself, you can’t help anyone else.”
Darryl (35:47):
“Anytime you adopt a new concept... your brain automatically rewires to that concept. Then the more you practice it, the more hardwired it gets.”
Darryl (37:49):
“So you become your own permission slip.”
This engaging and insightful conversation weaves together the power of personal experience, practical spiritual guidance, and the mechanics of consciousness, offering listeners tangible steps and nuanced wisdom for navigating both the extraordinary and the everyday.
