The resurrection of Christ is the central tenant of the Christian faith. This sermon takes a close look at the glory of Jesus Christ as the greatest prophet and the greatest fulfillment of prophecy! May you be blessed!

The Apostle Paul opens his letter to the Corinthian church and to all saints with a rich word of encouraging affirmation.

This is an introduction to 1 Corinthians from chapter 1 verse 1 where we see God's Apostle writing to God's Church to encourage, edify, and sanctify them in their faith!

The knowledge of the one true God is central to salvation and the Christian life. You cannot place your faith savingly or sanctifyingly in a God you do not know. God has revealed Himself in creation, conscience, and through the Special Revelation of His inspired, inerrant, preserved Word...the 66 books of the Bible...Genesis through Revelation...that we might know Him, love Him, and make Him known!

There is relentless opposition to the Great Commission. The most serious, heartbreaking, and treacherous Great Commission opposition comes from pastors and Christians who marginalize, minimize, or outright cancel the Great Commission. They are Satan's most effective Great Commission enemies. The hordes of Islam, Catholicism, Atheism, Communism, and all the false religions and cults put together...have done less to suppress the Great Commission than the "DON'T GO THEREFORE!" anti-Great Commission pastors and Christians. May God grant repentance and faith! May Christ's Church Make the Great Commission Great Again in the earth! May every city be filled with the doctrine of Christ by Christ's preachers and local churches! May the Gospel be unchained from the pulpit and unleashed in the highways and byways by faithful men! May the world be turned upside down with the Gospel of Jesus Christ by valiant, loving men who aren't satisfied to watch the world burn and their neighbors perish in their sins while they sing worship songs and listen to fine Gospel preaching from a man who will NEVER do what Jesus did, NEVER do what the Apostles did, and NEVER do what the early Church did to turn the world upside down with the Gospel!

I was going to open my message with excerpts from Charles Spurgeon's message, The Christian's Great Business, but ended up largely preaching his compelling message on every Christian's Great Commission responsibility. It was true when the inspired Word of God was written. It was true when Spurgeon preached it September 7th, 1873. It's true for all believers today! May God be pleased to Make the Great Commission Great Again in His Church and thus in the earth!

In this segment of Making the Great Commission Great Again we focus in on our singular Great Commission Weapon, the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God...and the glory and reality of the Great Commission Spiritual Battle! Get your Sword sharp and your armor on! The battle is raging, souls are perishing, nations are languishing, and the Captain of your salvation has enlisted you and called you to be a good soldier, fighting a good fight for His glory in the redemption of sinners! Brothers and sisters, the need of this hour and every hour in the history of mankind, is to MAKE THE GREAT COMMISSION GREAT AGAIN!

This is Christ's mission for His Church. Is it your pastor's mission? The Great Commission is not a suggestion or an option. It is our King's standing command for His Church. Every pastor is under the command of Christ to MAKE THE GREAT COMMISSION GREAT AGAIN, going therefore proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and training the sheep of the Lord's fold, training the soldiers of our King's Gospel army to do the same. What is the result of Great Commission neglect, apathy, and rebellion? Sinners are perishing, every abominable evil is advancing, the unborn are slaughtered, Islam is the fastest growing religion, God hating Marxism is on the march, and Christianity's influence is fading ALL BECAUSE the vast majority of pastors have made The Great Commission a sidenote at best and shameful folly at worst. For the love of Christ, for the love of saints, for the love of sinners, and for the love of the nations of this world...we must MAKE THE GREAT COMMISSION GREAT AGAIN! To hear, "Well done good and faithful servant!"...we must MAKE THE GREAT COMMISSION GREAT AGAIN!

The old, old story of King Jesus' birth. No flash. Nothing fancy. Yet, all glorious!

Learning Christian thanksgiving from Psalm 107.
