Lex P
Like, you are bad as fuck. Orgies, you're a virgin, you bad as hell, you a boss. Like, it's just a lot. And then on top of that, who you are, some people just want you because of who you are. Outside of that. Yes, honey, that bussy could be bust wide open.
Dre Nicole
Okay?
Lex P
It don't matter.
Alonzo Arnold
It don't matter.
Lex P
So I'm saying no. I say all that, say it's a lot of people who are popular and they're not virgins, but people want them cause of who they are. So the fact that that bussy ain't been busted wide open. You a baddie, but that's a lick. This is a rare right?
Alonzo Arnold
It's a rare breed, honey. You know?
Lex P
You know, I'm saying, I'm being honest.
Dre Nicole
It's how you keep just glazing over that bussy that busy has not been touched.
Lex P
It's in pristine condition. It is. Cause I've seen some blown out bussies. Ooh, some blown out where I get on X videos.
Alonzo Arnold
I know what goes on.
Lex P
What's up, y'all? It's your girl Lex P. And it's.
Dre Nicole
Your girl Dre and Nicole.
Lex P
And you are tuned in to another episode of Poor Minds where a drunk.
Dre Nicole
Mind speaks sober thoughts.
Lex P
We got a guest today. We got a guest today. Let me tell y'all something. Y'all know this person. They are one of the best hairstylists ever to exist. One of the most funniest people online. And on top of that, a fashion killer don't play. Always puts it on. We have the one, the only Alonzo.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes, honey.
Dre Nicole
Yes. Thank you for coming.
Lex P
Oh, you know our Juicy. She is a good girl. That's the narration right there.
Alonzo Arnold
Girl, I pray.
Lex P
Sit down. First of all. How are you? I'm doing good.
Alonzo Arnold
How you doing?
Lex P
I am great. Let me tell you. I always do this. I know the listeners be like, legs, please give me a break. When I see people in person and it gives everything that it gives online, I just be like, chef's kiss. I mean, it looks like you got on a Paris filter.
Alonzo Arnold
Oh, my God.
Dre Nicole
You do look the exact same in person, girl.
Alonzo Arnold
And y'all, it's always the pretty girls like, yes. With the compliments.
Lex P
Look amazing. Thank you so much.
Dre Nicole
Take one to no one.
Lex P
Yeah.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes, it does.
Lex P
Okay, so I like to start at the beginning, just for the people that are tuned in who aren't familiar with you and know, you know, don't know who you are. So you started off as a hairstylist. Yes. Now do you have your lifestyle.
Alonzo Arnold
I ain't got my license yet.
Dre Nicole
Are you lying?
Lex P
But you know what's crazy about that? I would have never guessed.
Alonzo Arnold
You know Shekinah spilled that tea. She said I ain't got my license, honey, though. Oh my God, yes, honey. But you know, like you said, the best of the best don't normally have they license. It's just like a piece of paper to me, honestly.
Lex P
Okay.
Alonzo Arnold
Because my aunt who has a license, like she gave me the hours, I just never went to take the test.
Lex P
Okay.
Alonzo Arnold
If that makes sense. So I learned everything from her. So it's like, child, I can literally take the test and go pass it, right?
Lex P
Yeah, of course. So when you don't have your license, that means you can't wash hair with your packaging.
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah. You can't shampoo. When state boy come, we gotta run. Oh my God, it's out the door.
Dre Nicole
So you know I can't work in a salon either.
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah, you can't really work in a salon either.
Lex P
Okay, so I gotta come washed.
Alonzo Arnold
You already got washed and blow dried.
Lex P
But you know what?
Alonzo Arnold
But you know I still shampoo my girl. Tell now.
Lex P
Okay, but when state world come, child.
Alonzo Arnold
You know, we just.
Lex P
You be sneaking and shit.
Alonzo Arnold
I don't know where you got to go. Yeah.
Lex P
Cause if you do my hair, I'm gonna go like this, right?
Alonzo Arnold
Uh huh.
Lex P
I'm saying I'm already doing it. Yes, I was already doing it. Okay, so talk about when you first started doing hair. Like how old were you? When did you start doing hair? So I was.
Alonzo Arnold
This was back in 2012. I was working at TGI Fridays.
Lex P
Oh my God. Yes, I worked at TGI Fridays for some. You did what? I used to be slanging them. Ooh, yeah.
Dre Nicole
Lynx got so many.
Lex P
I worked there for three. Okay. I thought we was weak. It was just a little 90 day probationary period. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Yes, girl.
Alonzo Arnold
So I was just, you know, I was busting tables and child, the bills were behind. So you know, child, repo status, everything, honey. So you know, I was like, let me start. And so I started doing the girls hair at the TGI Fridays. And so like that was my little side money. And so the managers and stuff, they kind of like. It kind of like overshadowed my work that I was really there for. And so I started being lazy, eating on the clock. And so they was just like, you fired? And so I said, damn, what the hell am I gonna do now? So I just really stepped out on faith, like advertising on Craigslist, Instagram, at The time just kind of got started, and, like, I was charging, like, 2530 to do duck presses. Sewing curls. Oh, I wish.
Lex P
2530 now.
Dre Nicole
Taxing.
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah, exactly. Nowadays.
Dre Nicole
So did you always have a passion for doing hair or did you just start doing it? Because rent was due, So I always.
Alonzo Arnold
Like, my sister used to let me go to the salon with her, and I would always, like, just watch the stylist. The people come in, leaving, looking so different, so pretty. And so I was just fascinated. And I was like, I want to do this. Like, I think I was just made for beauty. Because if you think about it, hair, fashion, makeup, it all goes together. It all completes the look. So I was like, let me do hair first, you know, to get my bills paid. And then I really fell in love with it. And, like, it's not a job for me, honestly. So it. It honestly just doesn't feel like work. Like, if you have a passion for it. I think that it'll never feel like a job to you. Like, if you look at the icons today, the Janet Jackson, the Beyonce, I just feel like they never retire. And that just. I think it goes for here too. Any passion?
Lex P
Yeah. So you said you learned from your sister.
Alonzo Arnold
So I learned from my aunt.
Lex P
Your auntie.
Alonzo Arnold
Shout out to Angie Eastside Atlanta, period. My girl. Yeah. So she taught me everything. Sewing child. She was there from the beginning. The beginning. Yes.
Lex P
I love that. So who was your first, like, celebrity client? So very first one.
Alonzo Arnold
What y'all consider celebrity, like, is reality TV or.
Lex P
I don't know.
Dre Nicole
I'm a little street.
Lex P
Yeah, she's strict.
Dre Nicole
I'm a little streak. So when it comes to celebrity, like, I think of, like, you know, actresses, Right?
Lex P
Everybody famous. I be like. But I do.
Dre Nicole
But I do think it's categorized by least. So I feel like if you were, like, actress or if you a rapper, a very known rapper and stuff, you're a. Well, you're a list.
Lex P
Okay.
Dre Nicole
But then I feel like the reality stars, they be like B list, C list. Unless you a Kardashian, then they.
Lex P
Yeah, they're a list. Okay. But I'll go by whatever you consider.
Dre Nicole
But what do you consider?
Lex P
Yeah.
Alonzo Arnold
Okay. So my first something something was Bambi Basketball Wives.
Lex P
Okay.
Alonzo Arnold
And, you know, I did her hair, and she had, like, 13 bundles. You know, Bambi got a little smart head. She wanted me to put all them bundles in their head. But when I tell y, she shouted me out. Everybody started coming. Like, back in the day, Instagram, like, shout outs was something.
Lex P
Yes.
Alonzo Arnold
Now you shot A out. It ain't gonna get nothing done, right.
Lex P
Damn near.
Alonzo Arnold
Beyonce can shot your ass. Like, you ain't going to get no clients.
Lex P
So you just had Instagram.
Alonzo Arnold
The algorithm changed, but did her. And then my first real, real, real big celebrity would have to be Portia Williams.
Lex P
Okay, I am a Porsha star. Me too.
Alonzo Arnold
I love her. Yes.
Lex P
And when a. It's okay. So I'll say this. As a consumer, it's different between, like, if you do somebody's hair and, oh, their hair looks good, versus doing somebody hair who is known for being polished. Like, if you do a Portia hair, a cash doll hair, like, that hits differently.
Alonzo Arnold
It does.
Lex P
Because like you said, shout outs aren't the same, but if cash dolls shout you out, you're getting booked up.
Alonzo Arnold
But they known for hair.
Dre Nicole
Yes, yes.
Lex P
So that does hit a little different. You know what I'm saying? Like me, if I recommend a good bean, I like beans.
Alonzo Arnold
Oh, come on.
Lex P
I love a good, good bean plate. If I shout out some beans, the people gonna buy it up.
Dre Nicole
No, they not.
Alonzo Arnold
Butter bean, honey.
Lex P
Oh, hello.
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah, she felt butter bean with some.
Lex P
Ooh, she felt it.
Dre Nicole
Alonzo. Lex talk about beans. Every episode, she gonna mention some goddamn beans.
Lex P
I'm working on that Bush's deal now. Ooh.
Alonzo Arnold
I mean, it's coming.
Dre Nicole
It's coming. Cause you be doing all the endorsing.
Lex P
I have built like it's immune to it.
Alonzo Arnold
Okay.
Lex P
You know what I'm saying? I have built up that fiber intake.
Dre Nicole
Did you ask her about farting?
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah.
Lex P
Yes. I'm like, I be saying the same thing.
Dre Nicole
I be like, you need to carry some Beano in your purse.
Lex P
But she say she don't get farting Beano, it's naturally in my DNA.
Dre Nicole
Ooh.
Lex P
It's in me. The beans done made it, you know what I'm saying?
Alonzo Arnold
A bust, honey.
Lex P
Okay, so I have a question. Go ahead, go ahead.
Dre Nicole
So I wanted to know, how do you stay with the trends? Because just like you just said, you know, back in the day, the girls used to love to wear 10, 15 bundles in their hair. Now these days, I feel like the girls be going for a more natural look. So how do you stay on top of the trends just knowing what's always up to date?
Alonzo Arnold
You know what? Honestly, I would see back in my day, child sound like I'm 85 years old.
Lex P
Okay, Chile.
Alonzo Arnold
You know, the girls see my clients because I did, like, a different type of hair. They didn't really like all that hair. Like, I have some clients that, like, you know, getting out of here. But I always went for the more natural, realistic type of approach. So I think I always just been, you know, ahead of the game. Yeah. Like with the baby hairs, I never.
Lex P
You know, I was just about to say that. Yeah.
Alonzo Arnold
You know, them girls, they love baby. They take their whole frontal. They look back on your head. Yes, stop. And it'd be a whole bundle.
Dre Nicole
But sometimes it'd be way down.
Lex P
Oh, yes.
Dre Nicole
It'd be in your eyes.
Alonzo Arnold
You can't even see. I don't see how the girls even drive.
Lex P
Shit.
Alonzo Arnold
They just be, ooh, my hands between.
Lex P
The edges and the lashes. A war is being fought.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes, they be close down here.
Lex P
But I will say I think the baby hair trend came from. And I love a little baby hair, but when I have the frontals, like, when that lace get a little old and it's lifting, you need that baby hair to kind of.
Alonzo Arnold
You do.
Lex P
You know what I'm saying?
Alonzo Arnold
I like baby hair, too. I'm not against them. I just like, to me, the only person that I think that can do some good baby hairs. And I think they really took it as arrogant. Hey, he. I mean, even natural looks, he does amazing. Just all around amazing hairstylist. So. Yeah.
Lex P
And I think, too, it's like that soft baby hair.
Dre Nicole
Not like the crunchy one. Yeah.
Alonzo Arnold
Just forced and it like a curtain in a bar. Curve like that.
Dre Nicole
With grown hair, you cut their hair to make it look like this.
Lex P
People be doing that now. Why am I in it?
Alonzo Arnold
They do their real hair like that. Yes.
Dre Nicole
Now you be cutting your ear, girl.
Lex P
I got to make it work right. You know, when you get your hair braided, these braids is old. Girl, I ain't got time to get my hair.
Alonzo Arnold
I think the older they look, the better they look.
Dre Nicole
I think so, too.
Lex P
The older they look, the better. But when them edges start falling out, when I tell you. I got a bob right now, right here.
Alonzo Arnold
Oh, my God.
Lex P
Just sitting there.
Alonzo Arnold
Girl, you gotta really curl her, man.
Lex P
I'm telling you, I be struggling. Okay, so before we get on, because I know I'mma forget, because I'm the only one drinking today. So, Ty, our beautiful Ty, what are we drinking today?
Dre Nicole
So, look, I had to do some Instagram stalking, and, man, this is for the baddest in the room.
Alonzo Arnold
Okay.
Dre Nicole
That Instagram ate honey. All right, so this is for you. This is what this is called, the baddest in the room. This is a mocktail, but you can add whatever spirit of choice. We have some grapefruit. We have some strawberries, some lavender, some basil, and a little bit of lemon juice. And then we topped it with a spinach, sparkling water, a little bit of agave as well. And we garnish it with some floating strawberries and some basil inside. So cheers. This is the baddest in the room.
Lex P
Cheers.
Dre Nicole
Cheers to you, Alonzo. Thank you.
Lex P
Yes, I do have a question real quick. Have you ever been a wig wearer?
Dre Nicole
I like the U part V part.
Lex P
Okay, so. But you've never been, like, a lace front.
Dre Nicole
I have them, but I just can't.
Lex P
Lay that front down.
Dre Nicole
Yeah. Like, I need the baby hair, probably.
Lex P
Yeah.
Dre Nicole
Because when it lift, then I'm over it, and I. But I'm a braid girl. Braid or you part with.
Lex P
Okay, that was them you parts back in the day.
Dre Nicole
I used to love me a you part.
Lex P
Yes, Honey, down. Okay, honey. Yeah, it's me. Yes. Right?
Alonzo Arnold
Uhhuh.

I do want to ask you, have you never drank liquor or you just, like, gave it up or. You know what?
Alonzo Arnold
I never drank.
Lex P
But, you know, I was.
Alonzo Arnold
When I was doing Megan Thee Stallion hair back in 2019, it was BT Awards weekend, she had me to do like two shots of Doucet and I didn't really feel nothing.
Lex P
For real? Oh, you got that Doucet felt a.
Alonzo Arnold
Little hot and heated.
Lex P
Cause that Doucet get your loose.
Alonzo Arnold
I was a little tired. I was like, I don't really feel nothing. She was like, what? You know, them other girls, they was getting shy. Half a shot, they was on the floor.
Lex P
Yeah. I was just like, girl, get up.
Alonzo Arnold
I had two honey, you know, child. So I was like, damn, this is my first time drinking, you know?
Lex P
Yeah. So 2019 was your first time drinking.
Dre Nicole
You just didn't like it. You was like.
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah, I was like. It didn't really. Yeah, it didn't really do nothing to me. Like, I smoked weed before with my brother. That shit didn't do nothing to me.
Lex P
Oh, really?
Alonzo Arnold
I think I have a natural high. I don't know if.
Dre Nicole
Okay.
Alonzo Arnold
If that's something. It is. Or if he has some bad weed. I don't know.
Dre Nicole
It's probably a mixture of both.
Lex P
Look. Cause I said when I smoke. Give me the Reggie. I like the bad weed. I don't like to be too hot, Right.
Dre Nicole
Cause one, you probably have a little reef, right?
Alonzo Arnold
Look.
Lex P
So do you have any vices, though, like hookah or anything? You just. Oh, see, that's why you smile for life, right? Thank you.
Alonzo Arnold
Just, you know.
Lex P
So I want to get into the fashion now. And I'm about to get in your business because I'm not going to lie. So I am a fashion nova girl. I am a shein type of chick, period. I get what I can get.
Dre Nicole
A shein type of chicken times.
Lex P
Okay, so I'll say this. What I do sometimes is I like to go to people's pages and get inspiration and like, oh, how can I recreate this look on a budget? You know what I'm saying? But I can do that most of the time when I go to that. When your page, you can't recreate that. Cause you be having some pieces, baby.
Alonzo Arnold
Thank you.
Lex P
Some pieces. So I do wanna ask you this. Do you have a budget of, like, how much do you spend a month on clothes? Be honest, child.
Alonzo Arnold
Ooh, girl. Let me tell you something. If I was on my last and I had something I really needed, I will get it. Because you know who kind of gave me that idea? Kim Kardashian. She did an interview, and Kanye west told her she had these anniversary Christian lubes and heels. Those are her first, like, big spinning pair of heels. And he told her to throw them away. And she was like, I spent my last on these. And, you know, I was almost evicted, so I can't throw these shoes away. So not saying to spend your last. I wouldn't say do that. But my budget. I don't really have a budget. I'll just be like, now I'm. I'm more careful with my spending now. When I first got into it, I was getting every damn thing, but now I'm just really careful because I feel like, especially in the times we in, child, you gotta hold on to your money, honey.
Lex P
So.
Alonzo Arnold
And I like a little budget, honey. Like, this bag right here is worth 7,8000 now. And I got her for 1900.
Lex P
I know that.
Dre Nicole
It looked like the new collection.
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah, it does. This the vintage one? The Marc Jacobs?
Lex P
That's right. So you don't have a budget now on what you spend a month on Clothes. Give me a figure. I would say a monthly spend, right?
Alonzo Arnold
I would say now I'm looking at either two bags a month that I really want or about $10,000 a month.
Dre Nicole
Okay.
Lex P
It used to be you talking about. See, that's how I know this couch got money. Talking about. Okay, that ain't bad, right? Cause I feel like. Well, you spend money on clothes, too. I do. I like clothes.
Dre Nicole
And a little shoe, baby.
Lex P
I'm on fashion matter.
Dre Nicole
The sho.
Alonzo Arnold
I love a hollow moment.
Lex P
Yes, thank you. Look, when fashion over, say, how you want to pay Klarna?
Alonzo Arnold
Damn. Not fashionable with Clara.
Dre Nicole
But y'all know what's funny? Everybody has Clarina now. Like, even, like, Javonchi and stuff. They be having Clariner, too.
Lex P
They say, I need. I didn't get that Look. Call me. That's why everybody got shark boots. Not me.
Alonzo Arnold
Right?
Lex P
Boots. Look.
Dre Nicole
Oh, my gosh, I'm so weak.
Lex P
So do you offer styling to people?
Alonzo Arnold
You know what? I do want to start doing that.
Dre Nicole
I think you should.
Lex P
Yes.
Alonzo Arnold
Like one. It ain't even got to be a celebrity. It could just Be a girl that ain't got no budget and be like, here's my card. Go to the mall and get what you need. And you know it's not going to be designer every time. Like, I tell people, be comfortable in whatever your budget is. It's some people out here you would never tell. Like, look at this dress, honey. You would never tell what? Okay, swings that shade. Here's Fashion Week.
Lex P
Yes, ma'am.
Alonzo Arnold
You would just never be able to tell. Like, it looks like a designer piece. It's how you accessorize it. Your earrings, everything.
Lex P
You know, I gotta be shoes on the lows, right? I'm gonna do shoes.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes.
Lex P
I'm gonna do shoes every time. Cause I feel like shoes can be a statement piece kind of, you know, make it, poke it out. But I think styling is, like, you do hair so good. But I also think that's another thing that you can, like, dip into, because the girls need you on the red carpet. We ain't made it to the red carpet yet. But I get so upset when I see these girls. I know y'all got the money. Yes.
Alonzo Arnold
It'll be the main ones that got the money.
Lex P
Yes. They don't want to pay for a little spoiler.
Dre Nicole
Do they be thinking that they could put that shit on they self and.
Lex P
No, Boo Boo, they be on Klarna and Fashion Nova Luxe with me.
Dre Nicole
See, Fashion Nova Luxe do be having some cute stuff.
Alonzo Arnold
They do now.
Lex P
One thing about it, I see that high, low girl.
Dre Nicole
Like, I really believe in mixing.
Alonzo Arnold
Mix your pieces.
Dre Nicole
I feel like you can't go wrong with it.
Lex P
You got a question? Cause I got another one. No, go ahead. So let me look. I'm nosy now.
Alonzo Arnold
Uh. Oh, come on.
Lex P
So I don't know if this was something I made up in my head, so I have been following your career for a very long time. I feel like there was one time you did, like, a live on Instagram or something, and you said, like, you prefer having regular clients over celebrity clients.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes.
Lex P
And I actually. I hear that from a lot of people. I've been going to the same girl for years. Shout out to Dee Dee, Rich, look, hair. I've been going to her for years, and when I tell you she does hair down, and she was like, honestly, my best clients are just regular working girls. So I think this is like a teaching moment, too. So I think a lot of people who get in the game, the hair game or the styling game or nails, feet, whatever you do, they want them celebrity clients so bad. So talk to the people about having celebrity clients and the downside of it versus, you know, having regular clientele and serving them properly.
Alonzo Arnold
Girl, don't go after them celebrities, girl. They're gonna come after you. So when you come into business and you just like, oh, I want a celebrity. Because one thing about it, the everyday clients are the ones paying your bills. They the ones getting, you know, you have options with the everyday clients. The celebrity clients, they're always gonna find someone else. And I had to learn that because I kind of got tired of doing my regular everyday clients. And I would say, like, 2017 to 2019, I was just, like, straight traveling. And when I got done and came back, those clients, they had found another stylist. And so I was like, well, damn, you know, y'all forgot about me.
Lex P
You know, I was texting them, I'm back.
Alonzo Arnold
You know, they was like, oh, girl, Sinead ain't doing my hair, you know.
Lex P
Off the street, child.
Alonzo Arnold
Right?
Lex P
Yes, Right.
Alonzo Arnold
And so, you know, I was just like, well, damn, you know, so always have your everyday working clients over your celebrities. And then with your celebrities, sometimes they can take months to pay you months rent. Do now right now they be like, net 90s and net 60s. No, I need a net now, Honey, I did your hair now. I need to be paid now. Yes, ma'am. And you know, I have to start taxing their asses and interest rates and waiting fees. Yeah, I need my money fees and rent fees and.
Lex P
Okay, that's crazy.
Dre Nicole
But, yes, I do have a question. So you always have made funny videos online as well. Like, obviously, we know you gonna serve a look, makeup, gonna be tea, body tea, everything. But you have a really, really good personality, too. And I remember you from back in the day. We used to make the funny videos. With your wig on.
Lex P
Yes, with the wig. Look. I remember ponytail. I miss them days, right? Oh, my God.
Dre Nicole
Yes, girl, I remember you from back in the day. So do you feel like your personality has helped at all with building your clientele?
Alonzo Arnold
Okay, honestly, I would say 60 of your clients will come to you for your personality, because you have to think about it. People are going through things. Like when they come and sit in my chair, they're being about their husband, you know, what they done, did or their job and stuff. So they need a laugh. They want to look good, too, but they need a laugh to just relax and just, you know, let it all out. Child. Em. Cry with clients, laugh with clients, and they be really needing that. Yeah, yeah, they need that healing, you know, time.
Dre Nicole
So, yeah, I think that's important because I always say that going to your hairstylist is like therapy, Right? Especially if you got a good one that you cool with, right? For sure. You leave just feeling so refreshed, and, like, a weight is lifted off your shoulders, and you look cute. It's like two in one.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes. And some of these hairstyles, they be so mean. They don't want you to talk.
Dre Nicole
Yeah.
Lex P
They be, like, talking, okay, 25. That's how crazy the cup, because like I said, I've been going to Dee Dee for years. Dee Dee, he knows all my business. Me and Dee talks down, and I think that's a part of the experience. I actually made a TikTok video a while back. And look, y'all, we know you can't be in the salon until you get that paper, right? I said we need to bring that salon feeling back. Yes. We used to go to salon, and it's three, four of us in there. We got a good show playing. We laughing, we talking. It's like, a lot of times, like, if you go to a salon, it's only you in there, which is cool if y'all have a relationship, but I like to be with other girls talking, and we chatting it up. We got Poor Minds playing. I think we need that salon feel.
Alonzo Arnold
Oh, I was just talking about that.
Lex P
Yes. I.
Alonzo Arnold
The sweets really messed up the industry.
Dre Nicole
Because everybody have sweets.
Alonzo Arnold
Now you can't even learn nothing, like, from other hairstylists. You know, it was like when I was coming up at the salon with my aunt, it was five of us, and I loved it. Like, it was a whole reality show. You had these two stylists arguing, you know, a client, you know, it was so, so good.
Lex P
So fun.
Dre Nicole
It felt like community.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes. And so fun.
Lex P
Right?
Alonzo Arnold
It's like a family.
Lex P
I feel like that's what they talk about with Beyonce a lot. Like how her mom had the salons. She grew up in the salon performing. It's just so many memories. Like, growing up, I used to love going to the salon with my mom. Like, I used to be like, ooh, let me see what everybody getting. And they get their little finger waves. They French rolls.
Alonzo Arnold
I was like, snatchback, ponytail, the baddie.
Lex P
Right?
Dre Nicole
But, you know, I do feel that. But, you know, these days, I definitely be trying to get in and out. Like, if you got three people ahead of me, let me know when you almost done, and then I'm gonna pull up.
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah, yeah, child, you know.
Dre Nicole
Oh.
Alonzo Arnold
Let me tell you, back in the 2006, my aunt. She would have, like, 15, 20 people. And they just. Girl, I was next. I was this. And, you know, she'll be over there. And she. She had an assistant. She had two assistants. When I tell you she'll come in at like, nine in the morning. It'd be like a line of people waiting on her. She'll get they. They asses in and out.
Lex P
Oh, I know.
Alonzo Arnold
Thousand dollars, thousands of dollars a day.
Lex P
I know. That's right.
Dre Nicole
Yes, yes. But I love somebody who can get you in and out, because some hairstylists, they be slow because you'll be the only one there. And then you'll still be there for, like, six, seven hours.
Alonzo Arnold
You'll be there for two, three days, and you'll be like, damn.
Lex P
Yeah. You only did one bundle.
Alonzo Arnold
What's going on?
Lex P
Come back in the morning so I can finish. Right.
Alonzo Arnold
I need. I need now.
Dre Nicole
Hope you don't take off.
Lex P
Right.
Alonzo Arnold
I need some percentage is taking off.
Dre Nicole
Right.
Alonzo Arnold
So who.
Lex P
Go ahead. Go ahead.
Dre Nicole
Dre, I don't know if you have another question. I was gonna get into the first topic.
Lex P
Oh, yeah, one more question. Who was your, like, favorite celebrity client? Like, you was like, oh, I love you. Like, we always gonna be locked in for life.
Alonzo Arnold
Well, I don't know if she like me now.
Dre Nicole
Ooh, not me and Ty.
Lex P
Who?
Alonzo Arnold
I don't know. I mean, she unfollowed me.
Lex P
But you know what?
Alonzo Arnold
I always got love for Megan, honestly.
Lex P
Oh, Megan follows you.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes, we. One thing about Megan thee stallion, she was so fun to work with. And she get you the best gifts, like birthday gifts, Christmas gifts. Like that girl. I don't know if it's an Aquarius thing, but Aquarius, they get really good gifts. And she gave you some really, really good gifts. She was very fun. Even when around the time I was working with her, her mom had just passed away. You would never be able to know because she was always so happy, upbeat. She never let nobody see her cry. Never let nobody. You know what I'm saying? So I had a really good time working with her.
Lex P
When did she unfollow you?
Alonzo Arnold
This is like 2021. I didn't follow her, I think, because. I think because her best friend was. And Kelsey, they was going at it online, and I had said something on the blog. I don't know if she seen it, but I was just like, I don't like nobody being ganged up on. And so I was just like, yes, Kelsey, stand up for yourself.
Lex P
You know?
Dre Nicole
But I.
Lex P
It wasn't. I would have followed you What? Oh, my God. But you know what?
Dre Nicole
Cause I was like, what was said, but, ooh, I don't know, friend. I probably would have followed you, too.
Alonzo Arnold
It was my fault, honestly, you know, And I. And that's when I really, like, slowed down from really commenting on spit, because she probably took that as, like, damn, bitch. Like, I thought we was cool, you know, but.
Lex P
And I think, too, everything she went through, she was probably doing a cleanse of a lot of stuff that she was seeing on my phone. It was probably not personal. Cause she probably knows your personality. Oh, I know they're joking, but still, I am so.
Alonzo Arnold
And I didn't really understand what she was going through, but, like, now looking back at it, she was going through a lot.
Lex P
Yeah. Yeah.
Dre Nicole
She had a lot going on.
Lex P
Yes.
Dre Nicole
Yeah. Shout out to me, right?
Alonzo Arnold
Shout out to Megan. Honey, you killing me in Fashion Week.
Dre Nicole
I see your looks, you know?
Lex P
Yeah.
Dre Nicole
Her stylist is killing she.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes, for sure.
Lex P
What was that? She was in Paris.
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah, Paris and in Japan and stuff. And she look amazing.
Lex P
Her body.
Alonzo Arnold
Look, she got me motivated. Going to the gym, child.
Lex P
Not me.
Dre Nicole
But I love.
Lex P
Hey, you ain't in that gym, girl. Look, I do go to the gym, but I be in there walking on the treadmill.
Alonzo Arnold
So you just do, like, a little.
Lex P
You know, I get my stepsy, right?
Dre Nicole
I be up in there sweating bully.
Alonzo Arnold
On that stair mask.
Dre Nicole
I do the 45, girl, on the stair.
Lex P
45 minutes. Oh, you mean I be.
Dre Nicole
Honey, do you do it on, like, one incline or do you switch it up?
Alonzo Arnold
I do level seven for 45 minutes straight, and I burned 500 calories. Girl, when I get up out that O, girl, I be laid the hell out, girl.
Lex P
Body te. I the stomach O. Thank you, girl. Yeah, very flat. Very flat. What's up, y'all? It's your girl Lex P. And it's.
Dre Nicole
Your girl Dre and Nicole.
Lex P
And y'all know we are some hygiene girlies. So we are here to tell y'all about good wipes.
Dre Nicole
Yes, y'all. Y'all be needing a little more than toilet paper. You got to use a little white back there when you done. That's why I love good wipes, because they hypoallergenic and they come in so many different scents, like shea, cocoa, lavender, botanical bliss.
Lex P
I love that. And they're free of harsh chemicals, you know what I'm saying? So if you need some wipes other than toilet paper, what you're going to do is go to your local grocery store like a Target Kroger. Or if you're more of an online shopper, it's on Amazon. So get you some good wipes, girl.
Dre Nicole
Period.
Lex P
If you want to upgrade your restroom ritual, you can grab good wipes at Target, Walmart, Kroger, and most local grocery stores. Just head to the toilet paper aisle and look for the bright aqua, rose and emerald packages. They're also available on Amazon. If you're more of an online shopper. What's up, y'all? It's your girl, Lex P. And it's.
Dre Nicole
Your girl Dre Nicole.
Lex P
And we have a very exciting announcement today. We have a brand new show dropping. Yes.
Dre Nicole

Lex P
If you can't go to Bella Noche, where the hell can you go?
Dre Nicole

Lex P
Oh, my God. No, you didn't. Oh, my God.

Alonzo Arnold
Okay.
Dre Nicole
Okay. So we gonna get into the game, and we basically gonna read you some questions. You either have to tell us a secret, or you can take a soup.
Lex P
Okay.
Dre Nicole
Or your drink, I think.
Lex P
I think they need another one.
Alonzo Arnold
Oh, hell, yeah.
Lex P
Right? Clack a little clack.
Alonzo Arnold
I do, I do.
Lex P
She empty. Honey, it's so good.
Dre Nicole
Cause I am out of drinks.
Lex P
Drinking all that juice like they doing, Right? Okay. Drinking all that juice.
Alonzo Arnold
Little woozy. Honey.
Dre Nicole
What do you like? What do you prefer? How do you give a day to be a dress?
Lex P
Like, they. Them say he, she.
Dre Nicole
You can.
Alonzo Arnold
It's not just, you know, respectful, but I don't care.
Lex P
Okay. I kept trying to say, they look. Look.
Alonzo Arnold
Right?
Lex P
Look. They look okay. Me and you look. I just don't.
Dre Nicole
Well, I feel like these days, with the.
Alonzo Arnold
I don't get it.
Dre Nicole
Okay.
Alonzo Arnold
I do expect my friends, like, if they want to be called she, she all day, honey, whatever. But they. I be like, I had a friend who she was like, I'm they. I said, oh, you got a twin bitch.
Lex P
I didn't know shit. We're trying to be respectful. I'm like, they get them, right?
Alonzo Arnold
They're fine, right?
Lex P
Girl, please.
Dre Nicole
Cause we were trying to make sure we were being, you know, respectful.
Lex P
I appreciate that, but you ain't, girl. Okay, girl. Cause I'm like, okay. Cause she give her another drink. That's my girl. Okay, we can start the game, cuz you do got a little bit.
Dre Nicole
Okay, cool. So question number one. What's the worst wig install you ever seen on a celebrity?
Lex P
You can sip or answer.
Alonzo Arnold
Oh, worst wig install I have ever seen on a celebrity.
Dre Nicole
She sounds.
Alonzo Arnold
Girl. That's a lot of thinking, girl.
Lex P
We got time.
Alonzo Arnold
I seen some bad wigs.
Dre Nicole
I could think of a few.
Lex P
I can too.
Alonzo Arnold
Ooh, who you thinking?
Dre Nicole
Honestly, I'll tell y'all.
Alonzo Arnold
Okay.
Dre Nicole
Kim Zolciak, that wig was terrible.
Lex P
Yeah, yeah.
Alonzo Arnold
You know, she like them push back wigs, honey.
Dre Nicole
Yeah, her wig.
Lex P
And they used to be stacked. They used to be real high, like.
Alonzo Arnold
A mountain on top of that, honey. Appalachian mountain.
Lex P
Yes, honey. I agree with that one. I don't know. Let me.
Alonzo Arnold
Bad wigs. Ooh, who had a bad wig? I done had a couple of bad damn wigs.
Dre Nicole
I had one too, baby.
Lex P
I had a few. It's on. It's on. The got Dre. Still got my bad wig.
Dre Nicole
I do have in my closet.
Lex P
You know what I would say the.
Alonzo Arnold
Worst wig I ever seen. This is the BT Awards. What was that? 20, 23 and diamond. I'm sorry. Crying. My diamond.
Lex P
You know, I don't think she, you.
Alonzo Arnold
Know, she's a celebrity. Well, you know, she's a rapper. So she came in there looking like little scrap.
Lex P
She was a little scrappy, honey.
Alonzo Arnold
They category looking like. I can tell you the honey. And I said, whoa, what happened in that car, girl?
Lex P
You know, that damn wig was just everywhere.
Alonzo Arnold
It was just everyday wig.
Lex P
Okay, I get it, though. I get it. Sometimes you have them nights.
Dre Nicole
Okay, now I'm about to be googling it me.
Lex P
I can't wait.
Dre Nicole
BET Awards.
Lex P
Who is one influencer you think is overhyped?
Alonzo Arnold
Who is one influencer I think is overhyped? Oh, my God, I'm overhyped. I be loving all the girls trying.
Dre Nicole
To think if I have one too.
Lex P
Oh, I got one. I got one.
Alonzo Arnold
Let me take a sip.
Lex P
Okay, y'all want me to answer mine?
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah.
Lex P
Alex Earle. Who is that? So she's like a.
Dre Nicole
Like, I don't even know.
Lex P
Ugh. White.
Alonzo Arnold
Oh, okay.
Lex P
But on TikTok, and it's no offense to her. Get your. I just don't get the thing about her. And, I mean, she's always on all the beauty brand trips, the tarts, the things and this and that, and I just. I don't. Yeah, it doesn't give what it's supposed to give for me. I can't believe y'all don't know who Alex Earle is. You not a TikTok scroller. But I thought you were a TikTok top scroller. Let me pull up the picture so y'all can see her. Girl, Alex, Earl, let me see. Y'all never seen this girl. At first, I'm say, is that a.
Alonzo Arnold
Singer y'all never seen? I ain't never seen her.
Lex P
Oh, yeah. She's got, like, millions and millions and millions of followers on TikTok.
Dre Nicole
And what does she do?
Lex P
She's just. She just makes videos. Get ready with me. Beauty.
Dre Nicole
Oh, just everything.
Lex P
She's dating, like a football player. But that came after she was already popular. She's a beautiful girl, but it's just giving, like. Okay, but you know who? One influencer I think should be way bigger. Since we're being negative, we gotta cancel out with a positive. Clark. I love Clark.
Dre Nicole
I love Clark, too.
Lex P
Clark is a good one. Clark who?
Dre Nicole
Her name is Clark. She's real popular on Tick Tock. And she's a young black girl. She graduated from, I think, NYU.
Alonzo Arnold
I feel like I'm in my 50s. Talk about Clark who?
Dre Nicole
Yeah, well, she's young. She's like, 22. She just graduated, I think, from, like, NYU or Columbia, one of those schools up there. And she's about to go to law school school. But, yeah, girl, she just bought a million dollar house.
Lex P
Chicago. Oh, clock.
Alonzo Arnold
You doing your thing?
Dre Nicole
She really is. So, okay, let's see. Question number three. Have you ever charged someone extra just because they got on your nerve?
Alonzo Arnold
Oh, yes, I did.
Lex P
I know that's right.
Alonzo Arnold
They got on my last nerve.
Lex P
For real.
Alonzo Arnold
They came in, it wasn't a celebrity. It was just a regular client. And this is, like, one of my regulars. Honey. Girl, I'm sorry to spill your teeth. Tiff. Tiffany came her ass in that damn shop. I did some blonde hair. It was like the blonde color, honey. You know, highlights. Like Sierra highlights. And then she gonna say, oh, I think I wanna. I changed my mind to jet black.
Dre Nicole
Oh, I would have charged extra too, though.
Alonzo Arnold
What you mean you change your mind, Tiff?
Dre Nicole
Yeah, girl.
Alonzo Arnold
And Tiff didn't know I had to go outside for about 15 minutes to cool down. Cause I was like, girl, I done did this color for three days straight. Like, girl.
Dre Nicole
Mm.
Alonzo Arnold
Came in and I did her hair and I charged her ass extra.
Lex P
I know that's right.
Dre Nicole
That's valid, though. Cause that makes sense. Like, you wasting my time, right? Like, tell me that right.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes, and that was some good color. But, you know, I did make a wig out there hair so mood. Tiff. Look, I had two, girl.
Lex P
Okay, I'm gonna skip that one, Draya.
Alonzo Arnold
Okay.
Lex P
Who's the messiest person in your DMs?
Alonzo Arnold
Ooh, the messiest person in my DMs.
Lex P
What's your answer dream?
Alonzo Arnold
You the messiest person in my DMs.
Dre Nicole
If anybody ever seen me and Lex.
Alonzo Arnold
DMs, I would have to say me and my girl Perez. He keeps the mess going.
Lex P
Honey, is that the one that be like, right? Yes, yes, honey. We get all the tea, and Perez.
Alonzo Arnold
Know how to scout for some tea. We get that tea and we child, we be talking about y'all asses.
Lex P
Oh, I talked about in the group.
Alonzo Arnold
Hell yeah, everybody do that shit.
Dre Nicole
Nobody off, right? I think everybody do that too, baby.
Lex P
I hate when be.
Alonzo Arnold
Oh, you know, if it's not about the money, don't call.
Dre Nicole
Girl, please put your ass.
Alonzo Arnold
He ain't got no money. Sit down there. Let me tell you what Kiki did, girl, right?
Dre Nicole
Where the money at? It's not about the money.
Lex P
Okay, I think you should do one more, and then I'm gonna do one more.
Dre Nicole
Okay.
Lex P
And then we'll to the topic. Topic.
Dre Nicole
Okay.
Alonzo Arnold
Give me something good, honey. I'mma think about this one.
Dre Nicole
Who is the most famous person that ever slid in your DMs?
Lex P
Oh, my God. Ooh, I got to take a drink that.
Alonzo Arnold
Honey, I cannot.
Lex P
Ooh.
Alonzo Arnold
I said I was the open book.
Lex P
But let me close my book. Okay.
Alonzo Arnold
I want that to you now, honey.
Lex P
Ooh.
Alonzo Arnold
Cause, you know, just in case.
Lex P
Honey, I know that's right.
Alonzo Arnold
Ooh, girl, let me take a whole glass of that.
Lex P
Ooh, that tea is hot. I'm finna slide. I finna look at her. We also had a little drink in the. Okay, all right. Last one, last one.
Alonzo Arnold
Okay.
Lex P
What is. Hold on. Wait, I don't want to read this. Okay, what's the pettiest reason you've unfollowed a celebrity that you knew in real life.
Alonzo Arnold
The pettiest reason I unfollow a celebrity in real life. Well, this ain't really petty. What's the girl name? Lala Hathaway.
Lex P
Now who that? Hold on, let me look. Lana Hathaway.
Alonzo Arnold
I think she a gospel singer, something like that. Who?
Lex P
Donnie.
Alonzo Arnold
I need to start with an L. Oh, Layla Hathaway.
Lex P
Layla Hathaway.
Alonzo Arnold
Ms. Hathaway.
Dre Nicole
What she do?
Alonzo Arnold
You.
Lex P
Damn.
Alonzo Arnold
They got it right, honey. But it wasn't petty. It was because I did. I was late with her wigs. Now. I was late with them. Okay, she needed them for a show and she disputed the payment. Honey, it was like. It was like 5,000 something dollars. She disputed the payment. I already sent the wigs out. And so when the wigs got there, I said, miss Layla, can you please send my wig? I never got them wigs back.
Lex P
Oh, she just went down. J Hood. I found her.
Alonzo Arnold
Oh, she did. Let me see.
Lex P
She did. She just went down. She got my wig on. She probably do. Girl, that's the side part. Girl, that's my mother looking wig from 2019. Girl, she cut into a mole. Ooh, I'm just playing. Okay, Girl, she look good though.
Alonzo Arnold
But yeah, that's her ass.
Lex P
Oh, and she never gave the wigs back and you never got a payment.
Alonzo Arnold
I disputed dot com, honey, and it. The wigs are still in la. I don't know what them damn wigs. I don't know if she got them.
Lex P
I'm gonna find them hoes. Hell yeah.
Alonzo Arnold
They over there. Ups. I don't know, girl. And ups lost and found.
Lex P
Somebody got their wigs by now.
Dre Nicole
I said, did you at least win a dispute?
Alonzo Arnold
You know what? I was like, girl, you know what? I ain't even got that response to the dispute because I kind of took it like I kind of, you know, was to blame for it. And so I was just like, you know, it's the business loss and it is what it is. Yeah, but them was a good wigs too, girl. I was like taking my time with them because I, you know, celebrity you be wanting to, even with your regular clients, you know, But I was like, let me pin these curls up and da, da, da, da. And I. And I was late with them and she needed it for a performance. And so, yeah, unfortunately.
Dre Nicole
Now, Layla, you know you out of line for this.
Lex P
Cause at least get them and send them back and be like, you will never work in this town again. Yes, that's what I would have said.
Dre Nicole
This local keep stealing You a thief.
Lex P
Now, don't say that to that lady.
Alonzo Arnold
Like, look, girl, I still love you, girl, but I had blocked her ass. I ain't even pop.
Lex P
I blocked, period.
Alonzo Arnold
Girl, she said, whoa.
Lex P
I don't know.
Dre Nicole
L. You right. She might take something if she come over here.
Lex P
All right, you might.
Alonzo Arnold
You might have to hide your damn boots.
Dre Nicole
Hell, yeah.
Alonzo Arnold
You can slide on boots in that.
Dre Nicole
Sit on right back when she see the dog eat on everything.
Lex P
Girl. It's crazy.
Dre Nicole
Okay, go ahead.
Lex P
I'll say this. I'm tired of y'all with the Beyonce conspiracy theories about what y'all think she don't do. Obviously, y'all don't be knowing.
Dre Nicole
We'll never know.
Lex P
We'll never know. And two, so, you know, I gotta. Y'all know I gotta report the negativity. There's a group of people online who are very mad because she's calling it the Chitlin Search. And they're saying, if you're calling it the Chitlin circuit, then you need to go to the places that Chitlin circuits actually went to. So you need to be touching the corners of the states that are small cities that chitlin circuits actually toured. But the argument.
Dre Nicole
But they not gonna have a venue big enough.
Lex P
That was the argument back. They don't have the capacity to hold it. But she was like. And they're like, but your Beyonce created and generated revenue for these smaller towns or smaller states to start holding these artists and doing that because you want to be a pioneer. Be a pioneer. So it's been a lot of backlash of her naming it the Chitlet.
Dre Nicole
I mean, yeah, but I also. Yeah.
Lex P
I'm not gonna lie. I think Beyonce. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not mad at her for doing it this way. But I do believe, hell, yeah, go to these cities and make these motherfuckers travel for you. We gonna see who gonna buy tickets then, baby. Cause I would have been in Tuscaloosa, go to Orange, Texas. I would have hosted it for your ass.
Dre Nicole
Yeah, I mean, I agree. That's fair. But then, on the other hand, I just do always feel like people just always gonna find something to complain about. Like, yeah, she calling it the Chitlin Circuit tour, but I feel like it's not that deep to where people should be outraged.
Lex P
And Beyonce don't.
Dre Nicole
You said it is.
Lex P
She does philanthropy with. No, but she has donated a lot of money to these smaller cities that have black rodeos. And so she has done her job. Shetland in the church.
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah.
Dre Nicole
Because, I mean, it's all big cities. I understand that, but I still don't feel like people should be that goddamn outraged by, you know, like, people just be up in arms about. Yeah, everything.
Lex P
I think with the chitlin, she could at least hit one little chitlin.
Dre Nicole
One small.
Lex P
One little chitlin. Yeah, one little chitlin. I mean, she going.
Dre Nicole
Well, never mind.
Lex P
No, she ain't going nowhere.
Dre Nicole
She not going nowhere.
Lex P
But like I said, I, I, I feel it on both ends. Cause like I said, I just really don't think those cities have the capacity to hold. And the reason I say that, we went to Macon, Georgia. Macon, right outside of Atlanta for a 85 south show.
Dre Nicole
That venue was huge.
Lex P
That traffic, they couldn't do it. Yeah, they didn't have enough people to direct the traffic. And this was for 85, and 85 is big. But obviously they're not Beyonce. So if a macon can't handle 85, what you think a Birmingham or a Tuscaloosa is gonna do with fucking Beyonce, bro?
Dre Nicole
I mean, I'm not gonna lie.
Lex P
That's. I understand that's an Alabama game, but this is Beyonce, baby. Yeah, yeah.
Dre Nicole
Yeah.
Lex P
Okay. Yeah. So basically, Shay was saying, like, in Alabama, they can handle the capacity of, like, where the Road Tied and it be a lot of people, and they can handle it. So. But I do agree. I feel like she could have found one little. At least one little city to do it. But I'm not mad.
Dre Nicole
I'm going, yeah, we gonna see, child. We gonna be there with our hats on and our cowboy boots. You know, I've been waiting on this moment, personally. I grew up. We gonna get into topic number two, but topic number two, I wanted to talk about gaslighting yourself.
Alonzo Arnold
Okay.
Dre Nicole
Because we always talk about other people gaslighting us, but I think people never really talk about how sometimes we gaslight ourselves out of opportunities or out of doing certain things in life. So, like, what do y'all think about gaslighting y'all stuff? Do y'all think that that's something that people actually do?
Lex P
Well, I think we definitely gaslight ourselves out of situations. And I also think we gaslight ourselves when people are dealing with us.
Dre Nicole
Yeah.
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah.
Lex P
So I think sometimes, like, if you're in a relationship or a friendship or you're at work and you have a manager who is talking to you crazy, and you like, well, you know, maybe he's stressed out or she's stressed out. And the only reason they're doing this because no, they're Disrespectful as fuck. And you need to check that shit. I think a lot of times we make excuses for other people out of love or you feel like you need this job. But I think we need to stop staying in spaces where we aren't felt valued. And I know I did that. I stayed at TGI Fridays for 10 years. They didn't value me.
Alonzo Arnold
Right?
Lex P
You know what I'm saying? I think even at my job that I had, I was so good at my job and they fired me. Remember I walked to your house in my little bent to the side flats and I was so sad I lost my job.
Dre Nicole
I was sad too.
Lex P
I was so upset. But one thing about me and Drea knows this about me. When I start anything, I don't care if I'm working at Burger King. I don't care if I'm at a Fortune 500 company. I'm giving my all. And I know like as a person who has. I run my own company now versus being a worker. We give so much to these jobs and we have these people who treat us like if you die, they're gonna have somebody there tomorrow, Tomorrow. So if you aren't appreciated, it's okay to move around from these spaces. If you a friend who is treating you like you don't like to be treated, it's okay to move around from that friend. Especially in relationships we do this, you will have a man or a woman who is talking crazy to you. Oh, he stress work. Stop making excuses for people. Cuz at the end of the day, there is no excuse to treat somebody bad, period.
Dre Nicole
I agree.
Lex P
And treating people bad is a reflection of how your life is going. I seen that quote. When you do people bad, it's because your life is bad. Bitch. And leave me out, right?
Alonzo Arnold
You know, I, I learned from my mom not to take BS from people now. I used to put up with it like at jobs and stuff and give it my all like you said. But I guess because it happened so much now I'm like, girl, who you talking to? And it's like, girl, you let me cut you off. You know what you did. Oh girl, you know they call you. I just want to know why he ain't called me the last couple. Girl, girl, you gone that girl.
Dre Nicole
I mean, and that's the thing about people. I feel like people definitely usually know what it is. They just be trying to see I've been peeped.
Alonzo Arnold
Girl, I don't miss nothing.
Lex P
So when y'all are in those situations now, like how do Y'all take up for yourself. Like, what do y'all do when you feel like somebody gaslighting you and they playing in your face? Are they treating you bad? How do you take up for yourself?
Alonzo Arnold
Girl, I be at home, sometimes I let this shit go by, and I'd be like, bitch, you should have said this out of your head. Let me call that motherfucker back. Girl, look, I know we apologized about this shit, but look, bitch.
Lex P
Yeah, your ass.
Alonzo Arnold
You know, and it's a whole nother argument. But I. I love to stand up for myself. I used to be so afraid to do that because I felt like I didn't have the power to, especially as a child, Like. Like, oh, girl, people run over me in school, but I also had a. I don't give a. My. Like, girl, you know, to hell. But now it is so good to stand up for yourself. It just makes your mental, like, better. Like, it just makes sure you be.
Lex P
Like, damn, you did that.
Alonzo Arnold
You know what I'm saying? Pat yourself on the back. So it is very important to stand up to yourself. Don't let anybody mistreat you, run over you, take advantage of you. Especially if you are, like, an entrepreneur or anything. Like, yeah, yeah, that can't fly my book.
Lex P
What about you, Dre? How you take up for you?
Dre Nicole
I agree, but I feel like I have never really had a problem taking up for myself. Like, I will cuss you out with the quickness.
Alonzo Arnold
I'm like that now.
Dre Nicole
Yeah, you got me up. Absolutely not. I feel like if you don't take up for yourself, who else gonna take up for you? And if you don't take up for yourself, people think that they could keep playing in your face, and you're not about to keep playing in my face. Like, one of us gotta go, and it ain't gonna be me. It's gonna be, you got to get the on.
Lex P
And they.
Alonzo Arnold
You cuss they ass out.
Lex P
You never crazy, girl.
Dre Nicole
Now you crazy now. They looking at you like, you the problem.
Alonzo Arnold
You started it with me, girl. So I ended it.
Dre Nicole
You the one that was being rude to me, to me. No, I'm wrong, cuz I said something. So. I don't know. I think you definitely have to take up for yourself all the time. And people should advocate for their self way more than they do. Like, I don't know. I think people often don't take up for themselves because they're scared to lose people. Like, they scared to lose the person. Like, oh, if I say something to them and rub them, the Wrong way. They probably not gonna fuck with me no more. If they treating you bad and they not a good person, you don't need to care if they fucking with you.
Lex P
Either way, I agree with that.
Alonzo Arnold
And you got to cut that baggage out your life. That baggage. God wants you to get rid of that so you can progress to the next level.
Lex P
So it's like, girl, I think that's something I'm definitely working on. Cause, baby, I don't take up for myself. My friends take up for me.
Dre Nicole
Yeah.
Lex P
I be like, somebody say something to me. I be like, in bed, I'll be like, they said this. They be like, let's stop doing that. Oh, my God.
Alonzo Arnold
They said my weave was happening.
Lex P
Yeah. I am a cry baby. Like, everything, like. But I'm also, like, everything makes me cry if I'm happy, if I'm sad, if I'm mad. So I sometimes, like, I avoid conflicts a lot. And for me, it's not necessarily that I'm scared to lose that person. I'm just like. It makes me uncomfortable. Yeah, it does. And sometimes it's like I be wanting to take up for myself, but I just be like, you know what? Okay. I just be like, okay, like, all right, I'll just. You know, I'm like that in relationships. I'm like that. Like, with my sister. My sister's a Taurus. Like, sometimes my sister, like, my sister went off on me last week, and I was like, okay. And I didn't talk to her for, like, two days. She was like, what are you doing? I was like, you hate me. You hate me. She's like, girl, what is you talking about? Like, oh, my God. I am just like that. I don't know why, but. But it is something that I know that I need to work on. And I also need to not. I'm working on not being so sensitive, too, because a lot of times I will take the tiniest things to heart, and I'm just like, oh, somebody doesn't want to think. I'm like, they hate me.
Alonzo Arnold
I'm like that, too, a little. Like, if somebody don't reach out to me, I'd be like. Cause I always reach out to my friends, right? And I'm the type of person, like, they call for advice. Like, bitch, you going through it. Let me pull up at your house. Like, you know what I'm saying? Get you back in the mood, but who the hell gonna check up on me? And I just be like, well, bitch, you know, you was depressed two weeks ago, and I came and Got your ass together like, girl, now you know, you ain't reached out to me in a couple of days now, like, girl, what's going on?
Dre Nicole
I have a friend like that. I have a friend like that. And then, like, I'm kind of the opposite. Like, I be feeling like, okay, if you're gonna call me, and if I don't call you for, like, two weeks, it ain't no change in our friendship, you know, like, maybe I got something going on. And I feel like sometimes that's how have to look at it too. Like, maybe the other person. Life is just a little busy.
Lex P
We still cool.
Dre Nicole
I still love you. But she felt that way too. Like, she was like, I just feel like I'm always calling you first and you don't ever call me. And I was like, well, girl, I didn't know we was keeping telly.
Lex P
I'm not gonna lie. I'm not that friend. I don't give a fuck. If I call you four days in a row, it's gonna be a fifth.
Dre Nicole
Yeah, that's it.
Lex P
I'm finna call you.
Dre Nicole
Me too. If I wanna call, I'm gonna call.
Lex P
Yeah, I don't keep tabs on. Oh, I called her last.
Alonzo Arnold
Right? I called her thirteen.
Lex P
It will. And I'll call back to back if you don't answer.
Alonzo Arnold
Oh, I hate that.
Lex P
Oh, that's me.
Dre Nicole
And now you can send the video notes too. Bitch, what you doing?
Lex P
All right, I'll answer the phone. I'll call back. If she don't answer again, I'll be like, hey, I called you, girl.
Alonzo Arnold
I got a friend that'll call you like, four times. Back to back to back, girl. And I just be like, girl, did somebody die? What happened?
Lex P
I'm like, what? Right?
Alonzo Arnold
What you wanted. 7:30 tonight, girl, it's almost 2:30.
Lex P
What's going on?
Alonzo Arnold
Shit.
Dre Nicole
But I do think if your friend never, like, if a person never call you first, then I do kind of feel like that's a little bit of, like, a red flag.
Alonzo Arnold
What do y'all think in a relationship, though?
Dre Nicole
What if the person never called you first?
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah.
Lex P
Or you like. Or you.
Alonzo Arnold
If you always the one that's like.
Lex P
Oh, you know what's crazy? I think I like, I'm a creature of habit. So every day my man calls me first in the morning. I don't play that shit. You call me in the morning first and you text me. And I'm not being like, oh, he has a. No, that's just what we do.
Dre Nicole
Yeah.
Lex P
Sometimes I do call him first or text him first in the morning every now and then. But I think that's just a thing that. So it's not like, oh, he only. Cause throughout the day we're calling each other and we're texting each other. But how we get that day started, because he is a extreme morning person. He wakes up like 5, 6 in the morning. So I think it's like a pattern that we have. Like. But again, I don't keep tabs on it. I just know, okay, his day has already started. I'm still asleep. I don't. I'm not a rise and grind ass bitch.
Alonzo Arnold
Me either.
Lex P
I rise, scroll, and then I'm a grind. Right? I rise and shit. Right?
Alonzo Arnold
Rising the bathroom.
Lex P
Yes. I don't rise and grind me. He is a riser and grinder. That's not me. Right? Uh, so I don't necessarily keep tabs on that. But like I said, my relationship, my friendships, anything, I don't keep tabs.
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah.
Lex P
Now, if you're early dating stages and you're always calling him first, I think that's like a red flag. Cause men love to chase in the beginning, right? They do.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes, honey, they do.
Dre Nicole
I agree. I feel like if he really feeling you, he gonna be blowing your phone up. Especially in the beginning. If he not calling you in this early on, I feel like as a relationship progress, you know, y'all done got used to each other. He probably not gonna call first all the time. But in the beginning, I think if a man really like you, you, yeah, he going to pursue you. So if he not calling, that's why.
Lex P
I say I get my man to about 11. And once it's 11, I'm like, up. And I done scrolled enough. I'm like, oh, let me see what he doing. I'll call him. You know what I'm saying? But, yeah, I don't think you should keep tabs on stuff like that. Cu. It's like early. What's up, y'all? It's your girl xp and it's your.
Dre Nicole

Lex P
Okay, so the bed is our sex topic of the week, but we're going to obviously do something a little different.
Alonzo Arnold
Okay, girl.
Lex P
For you today. Because you know I like to pry in your business, Alonzo. So you are asexual? Correct.
Alonzo Arnold
I'm whatever the hell sex. Look, honey, one thing about me, I'm not asexual. I know. I know what I like. I like men's honey. You know?
Lex P
Okay. You know, I like.
Alonzo Arnold
I like my man's honey.
Lex P
I did not know that. Yes.
Alonzo Arnold
I think that was, like, back in 2000 and 2018, 2017. You know how the get. They get confused and.
Lex P
Yes, yes.
Alonzo Arnold
You know, you know, and then they blow. Well, hey, I'm gay, you know, but hell, yeah, I like my man.
Lex P
Okay, so you do like me. Okay, I never knew that. This whole time I thought you were, but I'm a virgin. Right?
Alonzo Arnold
Maybe that's what y'all mean. Yeah, I'm a bird.
Lex P
Well, good.
Dre Nicole
But I do remember, like, seeing that you said you were asexual.
Alonzo Arnold
I didn't even know what the hell asexual was at the time. I don't even know why the hell I claimed that.
Lex P
The reason, like, I heard you say it a while back as well. But you're so private with your personal life, and I've never seen you with anyone. Right. And you never talk about your private life either. So I'm like, okay, maybe she still identifies as that. You know what I'm saying? So you like men. So what do you identify as sexually?
Alonzo Arnold
What you mean, like My.
Lex P
Yeah. Like, do you identify as, like, gay?
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah, you can say gay.
Lex P
Gay. Okay, okay, okay. All right. So you do your topic then, the one that you said first. Because my topic was about the asexual. But you said you wanted to talk about her being a virgin.
Dre Nicole
Yes, I did. I wanted to talk about being a virgin and navigating, dating. Like, how do you do that? How do the conversations go when you normally tell a guy, look, I don't get down like that. I'm not having sex with you.
Alonzo Arnold
They be like, what? And see, I'm a Scorpio. So they be like, you cannot. Right? It's like, girl, you is.
Lex P
You're lying to me.
Alonzo Arnold
Like, you're lying. But I be like, I'm dead for real. Like, I don't know. I just think that sex, for me, I love cuddling, hugs, and, you know, just being under someone, but just having sex all the time. Like, it was this one guy who I had went on a date with, and he was, like, a sex freak, honey. Like, he.
Dre Nicole
Ooh, girl.
Alonzo Arnold
Just talking about what he would do to me. And I just said, look, we ain't even got our appetizers yet. You talking about what the hell is going on, right, child? Bye.
Dre Nicole
That's a turn off, too. If you start talking about sex too.
Lex P
Early on in the day and I'm.
Alonzo Arnold
A virgin, like, you trying. You gonna break me in. And, girl, break me in. Ain't no house.
Lex P
So are you waiting for, like, marriage? Are you waiting for that special, like, person, a serious relationship? Like, what are you waiting for?
Dre Nicole
Or do you not want to at all?
Alonzo Arnold
I don't even know what the hell I'm waiting for, girl.
Lex P
Okay?
Alonzo Arnold
God could have somebody in my damn bed tomorrow. And I just give it up, honey.
Lex P
I locked the key, honey.
Alonzo Arnold
Okay, But I honestly, it's just nasty out here, y'all. It's like, let me tell y'all, I had a friend who, like, was just taking it safe and just caught hiv. And it's just like, girl, if that was me, like, I wouldn't know what the hell to do. And it's just like. You know what I'm saying? I be so scared. Like, you just never know. Like, you know. But honestly, I don't know what I'm waiting for. I mean, I think God will, you know, bring someone. Yeah, bring the right person.
Lex P
I'm not gonna lie to you. I had a friend who. She was a virgin all throughout high school, and she waited till, like, college. And I remember, I finally, like. Cause it was like, Seven of us in high school that were really close. And when she finally lost her virginity, she was like, it was horrible. It was this, it was that. I'm like, oh, my gosh. You waited all this time and it sucked. And my first time, I lost my virginity when I was like 15, 16. And it was a magical time. It was my high school sweetheart. We were in love, baby. I loved him down. And I always think of that like a good. Like my first time was a good memory for me.
Dre Nicole
So I say.
Lex P
I say all that to say, like, now that you're. I like the woman and it was not right. You've said that before, though. Like, my first time was like. I remember it like it was yesterday, a night time. So I feel like since you've waited so long, at least bare minimum, make sure it's with somebody like you've been with. You're in a serious relationship. Cause even if y'all do break up and not be together, you want it to be like a good memory, a good memories. Yeah. Like somebody who really versus somebody like, oh, right, that's a virgin. I wanna break it in.
Dre Nicole
That's what I was gonna say. I'm sure you probably think about that too. Cause that's something that I would think you have to worry about as well, is just people even wanting to date you or wanting to try to get it. Cause nobody got it before.
Alonzo Arnold
Ain't nobody got the body, honey. You know, don't nobody know, you know.
Lex P
What the birthmark is. But they can't. The mole is honey, though.
Alonzo Arnold
It's just like, girl, they be wanting it.
Lex P
Yeah.
Alonzo Arnold
Like, oh, and they be knowing too, girl. Like, when I be in the club, them men be flocking, honey.
Lex P
For real?
Alonzo Arnold
Yes, girl. With their shirts off. And they. Girl, they be acting like. Like they security guards, honey.
Lex P
They just, like, come over here and, you know. You know, they be going over here.
Alonzo Arnold
With my girlfriends, you know, just act all shy and. Because I am shy in real life. And that's another thing. I'm so shy. Like, what people see, like, on Instagram. Oh, girl. In person, I just be so reserved, like.
Lex P
Yeah.
Alonzo Arnold
Oh, yes.
Lex P
Really? That's so funny. And that's why I say, I think too, on top of that, you being a baddie, right? Like, you are bad as. You're a virgin, you bad as hell, you a boss. Like, it's just a lot. And then on top of that, who you are, some people just want you because of who you are. Outside of that. Yes, honey, that bussy could be bust wide. Open it don't matter.
Alonzo Arnold
It don't matter.
Lex P
So I'm saying no. I say all that. It's a lot of people who are popular and they're not virgins. But people want them cause of who they are. So the fact that that bussy ain't been busted wide open. You a baddie. That. But this is a rare right.
Alonzo Arnold
It's a rare breed, honey. You know.
Lex P
You know what I'm saying? I'm being honest.
Dre Nicole
It's how you keep just glazing over that bussy.
Lex P
That bussy has not been touched. It's in pristine condition.
Dre Nicole
It is.
Lex P
Cause I've seen some blown out bussies. Ooh, some blown out swear. I get on X videos.
Alonzo Arnold
I know what goes on.
Dre Nicole
Do you watch gay porn?
Lex P
I have watched gay porn before because Mandy sent it to me. Shout out to Mandy from decisions, decisions. It's not horrible decisions anymore. But Mandy has sent me some before. You know, she likes to pay. She do like gay porn like that.
Alonzo Arnold
They be sending me that and I be like, girl. And they be some big pieces, honey. I be like, how the hell they.
Lex P
Piece get that big? You know what? It's crazy. So I'm not going to lie. I be seeing the. The baddies, like, they be bad, like titties done and then they having a little. They be having a pee pee, right?
Dre Nicole
They be having a big one. You talking about you acting like it be little.
Lex P
I know I be shouting, girl, look.
Alonzo Arnold
They be big, honey. You know it go hair on X, huh? Oh my God.
Lex P
Showing that thing and I be scrolling to it. It be swagging to the ground. I be like, whoa, yes.
Alonzo Arnold
Look what happened to girl. Did you.
Lex P
Were you. You know what's going on? So do you attract a lot of straight men?
Alonzo Arnold
I do. I attract a lot of straight men. And I love my man to be. I like trade. So trade is like the girls can holler at him. They wouldn't.
Lex P
Yeah, they don't be knowing.
Alonzo Arnold
I like a little bit of femininity, you know, you just never know. But I like a masculine man, honey. Cause I feel like I'm the girl.
Lex P
I am the girl of the relationship, okay?
Alonzo Arnold
I'm soft.
Lex P
It's not giving anything else but a lady. Exactly.
Alonzo Arnold
It's giving, lady. It's giving, you know, Classy.
Lex P
It's giving. You know, it ain't giving these rough rider, y'all, right?
Alonzo Arnold
So I need. I need a man. I need a masculine man.
Lex P
I'm not gonna lie. I'm probably more masculine than you.
Alonzo Arnold
Damn.
Lex P
I am if we was walking together, they be like, look at that trans girl. Mary, I be damn.
Alonzo Arnold
You know, girl, you done got your heels on. Look, I still got my heels on, girl.
Lex P
Look, walking and I'm in my sneakers, like, what's up, ho? What's up, nigga?
Alonzo Arnold
That's what I'm saying.
Lex P
It's giving. It's very like, yes, you and. Cause I know it's a thing in the community, they say the girls that are like, non detectable.
Dre Nicole
Yes.
Lex P
Like, I think because you're so well known, people know, but like, if I saw you, you're not detectable.
Dre Nicole
You're not.
Lex P
Y'all.
Alonzo Arnold
People still don't believe me.
Dre Nicole
Yeah, they be like, if you just told me.
Lex P
I don't know if I believe you either. I need to see that bussy.
Alonzo Arnold
You know what?
Lex P
I had a girl in a mall.
Alonzo Arnold
One time, she did not believe me. And girl, she was like, I just don't believe you. Like, she was like, I've been following you for so long and I just can't believe you. I said, let me see your hand. I said, do you feel this? Oh, don't you let them know, right? I said, girl, you know, it ain't. It ain't two.
Lex P
Everything about you is petite.
Alonzo Arnold
It is, yes.
Lex P
So usually when you look at people, they look. My hands are probably bigger.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes, they is. Huh. And mine, size 15, 16.
Lex P
Yes. They're very little. Yes, yes.
Alonzo Arnold
I wear a size 10, so you know.
Lex P
Oh, look, you wear a 10 too, though. That's what I said. Uh huh. They gonna look at me and be like, it's her. No, that's the one that got the nut.
Alonzo Arnold
No, girl, they gonna look at all of us, be like, it ain't now. One of them. Let me get all y'all numbers, honey.
Lex P
But are you dating, though? Are you dating right now? No, no.
Alonzo Arnold
I ain't got nobody that's up my roster, honey. You know how God send you somebody.
Lex P
And you just be like, yeah, I.
Alonzo Arnold
Ain'T got nobody up my roster right now.
Lex P
But are you looking though? Are you like on the prone?
Alonzo Arnold
I wouldn't mind looking, you know, for a little something, you know, you gotta have, you know, something going on or something, you know. Yeah, change or something.
Lex P
Yeah.
Alonzo Arnold
But I just love a man that really gets to the small things, like the details, you know, like, how did you know my car needed gas, you know? Or how did you know I needed some toilet paper, you know, or some tissue, or how did you know this?
Lex P
You know? So I like that.
Alonzo Arnold
I love a Man that listens.
Lex P
Yes, yes. The romance. Romance ain't dead, right?
Alonzo Arnold
It's not.
Dre Nicole
Romance isn't dead. And I feel like it's just a lost art form. Like, men are just not romantic.
Alonzo Arnold
They not. They like all that hood shit. And I flip 500, 5000. It's tax time now, so, girls, watch your taxes, okay?
Lex P
Oh, my gosh, I'm glad. He don't want.
Dre Nicole
He want that chair.
Alonzo Arnold
Oh, I had a cousin that got. Got like that, girl. So, girl, she met a man, right? And she got a new car. They both stopped working in May, Girl, she had a man, honey. And he was like, I flipped 2,000 into 20,000. And, girl, she gave him damn near all that tax money, honey.
Lex P
Never seen it again. He flipped.
Dre Nicole
He flipped on her.
Lex P
He flipped the door, honey. She got the hell out. Oh, my God.
Dre Nicole
I said, girl, I knew your ass.
Alonzo Arnold
To go give him that money.
Lex P
And she was like.
Alonzo Arnold
I was like, girl, I told you not to do it.
Lex P
That is terrible. We gotta stop. Don't give no man no money.
Alonzo Arnold
Don't give that man no money.
Lex P
Stop giving him money.
Alonzo Arnold
He gonna flip it on the next girl.
Lex P
Oh, yeah. You know how bad it is to, like. If you give a man money, then you find out, like, he on a date with a girl. Yes. He took that money.
Alonzo Arnold
He took that money.
Lex P
Child, stop giving men money.
Alonzo Arnold
I've been. I pulled up on that date seat.
Lex P
What?
Alonzo Arnold
That's why I can't be in a relationship. Honeymoon.
Dre Nicole
And every time I see him, too, I would be like, so you got my money, right?
Lex P
Where's my money?
Dre Nicole
Where's that? I walk up to him, walk. While he on a date. Do you have my money?
Alonzo Arnold
Let me call my brothers and cousins, honey.
Lex P
But you know what I will say when you're a good person. So this is for the ladies who have given men money and it didn't work out in their favor. Because I know you gave that man money out of the goodness of your heart. Cause I'm gonna say this, not that in this situation, I gave a man money. But it's like, even if you give a man your all in a relationship, let me tell you how karma works, because I am not a believer in karma. I've said that before because I think sometimes it's just things just happen.
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah.
Dre Nicole
Yeah.
Lex P
But I had something that happened to me. What? Two days ago, we got a text in the group chat. And when I tell you I am not a petty person. I don't believe in revenge. But it felt so good to laugh.
Alonzo Arnold
At somebody Sometimes it does that.
Lex P
Just did not believe in nothing. And it was like, that's why you don't hold people. Cause you never know when you might need a favor.
Alonzo Arnold
That's that Instagram.
Lex P
And when I tell you I said that I gave that rich white woman laugh. Absolutely right.
Alonzo Arnold
You got God, honey.
Lex P
Oh, it felt so good. It felt so good. And that's why I said, God don't play by me.
Dre Nicole
He deserved, though.
Lex P
So sometimes when you do good things for people and you may feel hurt, just wait.
Alonzo Arnold
Just wait on that. Karma, honey.
Lex P
Especially if you're a good person.
Dre Nicole
I agree.
Alonzo Arnold
You chose it, honey.
Dre Nicole
God gonna spin the block, get care of it, right?
Alonzo Arnold
You gonna be like, damn.
Lex P
That's why that nigga yeah.
Alonzo Arnold
Got in the car accident. You know, Damn.
Lex P
That's why me.
Dre Nicole
That's why he got a big seat.
Lex P
That's why he a paraplegic.
Dre Nicole
Not see.
Lex P
Oh, sorry. Too far, too far, too far. I'm sorry.
Dre Nicole
Par.
Lex P
He tried to paralyze.
Dre Nicole
We just said a little fender bender.
Lex P
Okay, okay, My bad. But I also think it's the difference between doing things and expecting something back and just doing things out of the goodness of your heart. So I feel like everything I've ever done for anybody in my life, my friends can a test for this. I'm just doing it because I fuck with you that hard and because I believe in you or I love you. I don't need no payback for nothing, right? So when I tell you, God, I had a moment. Me and Dre had went on a trip. I had a moment where I just woke up and I was just crying and I was thanking God because I cannot believe this is my life and all the struggles I went through, everything that I did for people that maybe took me for granted stuff. You know what? God gave that back to me tenfold. Yes, he did.
Alonzo Arnold
He always gonna give it back.
Lex P
Back to you. You know what I'm saying?
Alonzo Arnold
I done let friends borrow thousands of dollars and they didn't pay it back. And I just be like, you know what? You can keep it.
Lex P
Y.
Alonzo Arnold
And honey, God will find a way. He'll. Next week I have a booking. $20,000. I'm like, damn, girl, 2,000. Turn to 20.
Lex P
You know?
Alonzo Arnold
And it's just like, hey, man, thank you, Jesus.
Dre Nicole
He always going to look out for you for sure. And I always say too, cuz my mom taught me this. Don't ever lend people money that you not gonna be okay if you don't get it back. You, of course y'all need to be paying people. Bags don't just go around not paying people back.
Lex P
Yes.
Dre Nicole
But at the same time, you shouldn't give it out if you can't afford to speak.
Lex P
Right.
Dre Nicole
You know what I mean? Because a lot of the time, people not gonna give you your money back. And that is up.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes, it is. My mama taught me like that, the same thing. But I have such a loving heart.
Dre Nicole
Yeah.
Alonzo Arnold
And I'd be like, well, damn, if it was me. You know, I want somebody to help me out.
Dre Nicole
Yeah.
Alonzo Arnold
And like, I called my mom about it. She'd be like, what I tell your ass about giving that damn money? You could have gave that to me. Where they at? Where they stay at? I ain't gonna get it from you. Mine ain't worth it. Shit. Okay, look, just calm down. They gonna get got.
Dre Nicole
But that's why you continue to get blessed all the time, though. Cause you got a giving heart.
Lex P
And one thing I will say about, like, even, like, hairstylists, social media influencers, you have stood the test of time. You know how, like, we'll hear about a hairstylist and we never hear about them again. Or a social media influencer and you never hear. So the fact that you've been in this game for a long time and you still killing it. You still. That's them blessings, honey.
Alonzo Arnold
I'm like a Nicki Minaj, honey. Hey, deal. Going, honey.
Lex P
Okay. Steve.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes.
Lex P
Can't stop that train, right?
Dre Nicole
Continue, baby.
Lex P
You know what I'm saying? Okay, so now it's the item of the week. Draya, what you got for item of the week? This week?
Dre Nicole
So for my item of the week, of course, it's gonna be muse beautycollection.com, which is my cosmetics brand. Make sure you get your lip glosses, your lip liners, matte liquid lipsticks. We also have jelly blushes. I also have on the eyeliner and a mascara right now, which is coming out really, really soon. Lex P
So cute.
Alonzo Arnold
Of course. Mascara, honey. Oh, I got you.
Lex P
Now.
Dre Nicole
The having came out.
Lex P
Not the Ruby. Yes. Okay. Oh, Lord.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes, God.
Dre Nicole
But yes, the mascara haven't came out yet, but it's coming out. Out next month. And I'll make sure I send you some.
Lex P
Thank you. Of course. So, wait, what she got in there?
Dre Nicole
Some lip glosses. I gave her some of the jelly blushes. I also gave her some of the lip Liners, and I think it might be a few matte lip liquid lipsticks in there as well.
Lex P
Let me tell you, that jelly blush, if you do like a light makeup look one day, I love light makeup. Oh, that jelly blush going flush it.
Alonzo Arnold
Out like, oh, yes, it's so good.
Lex P
It's going to give like, oh my God.
Dre Nicole
I'm. It'll just give you like that little rose, rosy cheek.
Lex P
That's why I said it's giving like, oh my God, you embarrassing me. That's what you need to do a commercial. I'm in there like this.
Alonzo Arnold
Oh, my goodness.
Lex P
What's up, y'all?
Dre Nicole
It's your girl xp and it's your girl Dre Nicole.

Dre Nicole

Lex P
But I mean, we don't discriminate.
Dre Nicole
Any business is welcome.
Lex P
Okay, so now it's time to get into the house. About, about, about. Say this a lot. One thing, I have curated all my show social media accounts. My algorithm is fire. So I'm a music head. I'm a music girly. And one thing I love is like seeing a new artist that I haven't seen before. And I'm like, how did this come up on my timeline? Because my algorithm is fire. I found this small artist. She only gets like 14,000 listens a month. But when I tell you it's so many superstars out there that we just haven't even heard of. This song is such a good song. So her name is Sid Franklin. The song is called Plastic Waterfalls. It is such a good song. It's basically about like, she's in love with this guy and everything was plastic. It was fake. It wasn't what she thought it was. You know, you see a waterfall and you feel like it's so beautiful. Then you get up close and it's plastic.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes.
Lex P
When I tell you I'm a. I'm a lyrics girl, so. The lyrics in this song are just so beautiful. It gives, like, a R B vibe. So, yeah, that's my bop of the week. Like I said, music ain't dead. Y'all just not looking for it. Y'all just not. It's such a good song. Like, it's very rare that I come across a song that I'm like, oh, I'm excited about this. So, yeah. Sid Franklin. Plastic Waterfalls. Fire. I'm fucking with you, Sid. I'm rooting for you. Okay, Go download that. All right. What you listening to? Draya.
Dre Nicole
So I like Latto and Playboi Carti. New songs. Oh, I have Blixum.
Lex P
Oh, Bleaksome. Yeah, I like from the album.
Alonzo Arnold
Oh, I got that blick.
Dre Nicole
Blick.
Lex P
Yeah. Yeah. I like the little intro.
Dre Nicole
I like the intro. But I just also. I love when the girls get on the track and just be popping they sheets. You know what I mean? So shout out to Lotto and shout out to Playboi Cardi. Because I didn't. I was like. He hadn't really been making no music lately, have he?
Lex P
That's cuz he been over there giving Iggy Azalea hell now. See, he don't got time to make music.
Dre Nicole
Yes, y'all.
Lex P
He torturing that lady. Okay, he did.
Dre Nicole
But he had a nice little R. Remember he had that song everybody was singing? Woke up to Nike.
Lex P
Yeah. I think that was his first song, right?
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah.
Dre Nicole
But then he had a few more songs after that. And then I feel like he just.
Alonzo Arnold
Went, he got pregnant.
Lex P
Well, you know what?
Dre Nicole
I think she said he got 80 pregnant.
Lex P
Yes. Right? Torturing. I told you. He torturing her. Like. But I think his music now is more so, like. It's kind of rockish. Yeah, Rock that rock, rap, Uzi kind of vibe.
Dre Nicole
Okay.
Lex P
So I think it's.
Dre Nicole
Maybe that's why I Ain't hurt.
Lex P
Yeah, he's making music, but I don't think it's, like, for. It's probably overseas for us. Something. Yeah, it's not for us.
Dre Nicole
It's probably taking K pop.
Lex P
Yeah, they're hitting a 5, 6, 7, 8, right. You know, so. Okay. That's a good bop, though. I like. I like lotto. Lotto talks. That she does.
Alonzo Arnold
Y'all know I'm A R and B head, honey, you know, I o. It can go Carrie Hilson, you know, To a good old Tanisha Kelly.
Lex P
Oo, you got deep in your bag.
Alonzo Arnold
I got Deep in that bag, honey. Ooh, yes, ma'am. Honey. I mean, Amerie. Ooh, I love me some good Amarie. Mary J. Blige. I mean, I love R and B, of course. The queen of rap, Honey. Nicki Minaj.
Lex P
Hey, Barb.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes, honey. She's that girl will always be. I love her. I mean, I'm very versatile with my music, but I love R and B. Like, that's just. I'm a hopeless romantic.
Lex P
So what have you been jamming like this week? Like, what's your song that you just cannot stop playing?
Dre Nicole
And it could be new or old.
Lex P
New or old.
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah, it can be new or old. I really ain't been getting into the new music, y'all.
Lex P
That's good.
Alonzo Arnold
I feel like.
Lex P
Yeah, it ain't.
Alonzo Arnold
It's like, maybe it's because I'm not really doing my research on, like, the underground artists that ain't really made it yet, but, like, I was just on my way here listening to some Amerie, period. Her Touch album, I was listening to Folly. Right.
Lex P
You know, I know you know, that was.
Alonzo Arnold
That Jill Scott is another one. Honey.
Lex P
She was. Ooh, girl. Love, love Rain. Love that song. Okay, so you a old school by the early.
Alonzo Arnold
Uh huh. I love it.
Dre Nicole
We love a little artist.
Lex P
And that's why I said, when you have an ear.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes.
Lex P
It's hard to enjoy music now because the mainstream stuff is not necessarily enjoyable. The Grammys just passed and I don't know what their agenda was, but Chapel Rowan, I've never gotten into her. I tried to listen to it, but when I saw that performance. Right. That song has been stuck in my head.
Dre Nicole
Yeah.
Lex P
Oh, my God, she's all, it's me. I did too.
Dre Nicole
I tried to listen to some of her music too, after the Grammys, and I was just like, okay.
Lex P
You know, actually, it's not bad. So a long time ago, I tried to listen to it and I was.
Alonzo Arnold
Like, ah, not really.
Lex P
After that Grammy, I said, I get it now. I see the face.
Alonzo Arnold
I get it too.
Lex P
What's his name? Vincent Boone. He flips off the. These beautiful things and all he had the jumps and all he did. Baby, he gonna flip off that piano, right? He's like Chris Brown. You ain't the only one tumbling.
Dre Nicole
You need to stop talking about people flipping. Cause remember last time?
Lex P
What?
Dre Nicole
Last time you talked about somebody flipping off a building.
Lex P
What happened? What I did.
Dre Nicole
You talked about somebody flipping off a building, remember?
Lex P
No, I don't. I promise.
Dre Nicole
Never mind. Shay know what I'm talking about. Ooh.
Alonzo Arnold
I'm the same way. I don't be remembering nothing. Look.
Lex P
What? Who flipped off a building? We gonna.
Alonzo Arnold
Nobody flipped out the building.
Lex P
I don' Did I get dragged? Oh, my girl.
Dre Nicole
Yes, you got dragged on Twitter. We both did. Oh, my goodness.
Lex P
Blipping off a building. Oh. Oh, my God. Next topic. Cause I got drugged to hell.
Dre Nicole
We definitely got drugged.
Lex P
Oh, my God.
Dre Nicole
By our ponytail.
Lex P
Let's move on. Let's move on. Okay, so before we get into this last topic, because we finna wrap it up. Alonzo. Yes. This has been so much fun. It has.
Alonzo Arnold
I love you.
Lex P
I love you down. Thank you. I love y'all. More like, honestly, I love. I was telling my friend before we got here, I'm like, oh, my gosh. I just. I never know how people's energy gonna be because we've been doing this a long time, and sometimes you see people online and they're so bubbly and so this and that, and then you get in purpose. You get in person. They're like, above.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes.
Lex P
So for all the listeners out there and people who are fans of you, thank you for being who you really are and showing up and being your real authentic self. You have educated us today. Me about you. And I know I can call you girl, right?
Dre Nicole
You're one of the girls.
Lex P
Yes. You're one of the girls, honey. So do you give good advice?
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah.
Lex P
Okay, so we finna do our advice segment.
Dre Nicole
Okay.
Lex P
This is called pour your heart out. If you want your question answered on the show, make sure you email us@askpoormindsmail.com. if you're a Patreon member, put that in the headline so you can skip the line. Okay, so I have question one. All right, so it says, I'm 32, and I've always dated my age or older. I'm a guy that likes guys, by the way. And I'm in Atlanta, so y'all know it's a shit show. I met this guy who, on paper, checks all the boxes. He's six, eight, very handsome, has a great job, was raised right. Y'all know that's rare nowadays, and we've met a few times in person. What is that? It's been a vibe so far. The thing is, he's 27 now. I've dated five. I've dated men five plus years older than me, and they were all a joke in one or multiple ways. But dating younger has never been in my ministry. Would y'all keep seeing where it goes? Or be like, fuck them kids. I'm a Lover like y'all. I came from love and I'm cute so I know I'll find my person. But never in a million years did I think he be younger than me. Curious to hear yalls thoughts. How old?
Alonzo Arnold
He's 32.
Lex P
He's 32 and the man is 27. Yes. And he usually dates older girl.
Alonzo Arnold
Go see that nigga. Yeah, go see that nigga, honey.
Lex P
Don't judge him.
Alonzo Arnold
Right? Don't judge him just cause his age. Honey. I could see if you said 23 or 21, you know, ooh, then you on the butter line or Kelly. Oh, you know, so yes, go see that man, honey. Go see that man. You 32, you're getting older. Everybody's getting older. Honey, he checks all the boxes off. You need to go check on him because if you don't, I will.
Dre Nicole
Right?
Lex P
Hello. Six, eight. I can man check on them too, right? They think I got balls anyway.
Dre Nicole
And I see, I agree. I definitely feel like if he was a little bit younger then I can understand you having your reservations about it. But 27 and you 32, like have a good time. See where it go. I mean. Cause it might not even end up being something that serious. But just see where it goes. Don't just not give him a chance just because he's younger than age.
Lex P
He ain't even did nothing. Cause I usually date older. I like my niggas knocking on death's door. Damn. And my man younger than me.
Dre Nicole
Not one foot in the grave, child.
Lex P
A little extra cold like where you live. And they be like puny nursing home.
Alonzo Arnold
Oof.
Lex P
Ooh, the coochie.
Alonzo Arnold
How's that insurance policy looking?
Lex P
Right?
Alonzo Arnold
You can't sign my name, you know what I'm saying?
Lex P
But my man is younger than me. He's 32, I'm 35. I'm about to be 36. So I feel like sometimes it be the ones that you least expect that'll take you by surprise.
Alonzo Arnold
Oh yes, they will.
Lex P
Let that six eight man take you for a roar. You might like it.
Alonzo Arnold
Six eight, Honey likes that.
Dre Nicole
I agree. Okay, question number two. Hey, Lex, Drea and Ty. I watched Poor Minds religiously and decided I want to pour my heart out. Lol. I cut off one of my close friends since high school and I don't know how to feel about the situation. I have a two year old and from the moment I found out that I was pregnant, she told me damn near every minute to get an abortion. I've had an abortion before and it just wasn't an Option. It confused me because she never told any of our other friends to get an abortion. And they are like two or three kids in. Her mom died while I was pregnant and I still made a way to her homegirl even though I was high risk. I've always been there for her daughter, buying gifts every holiday and birthday. But she hasn't even seen my son other than pictures. Then she messaged me on New Year saying her resolution is to be a better friend to me. That really rubbed me the wrong way because I've always been a good friend to her. I could be a little defensive, but do you ladies think she is a weirdo or am I just overreacting and she was trying to give me friendly advice. Thanks, ladies.
Lex P
So I'm seeing it from two points of view. So her reaching out and saying I'm trying to be a better friend and you still getting offended by that. Like damn, what can she do? So I think if somebody is genuinely saying, hey, I'm trying to be a better friend. Cause I had that conversation with two of my close friends like a couple of years ago and I'm like, I'm trying to be a better friend and I will. And you gotta give people a chance, especially if you really care about them. So that's one. But I think it's more to the story. Cause her telling you to get abortion, she don't like your baby dad. That's what it's giving. She didn't want you to have them kids because it may be attached to a ain't shit nigga. Because a lot of times you be trying to save folks. I done saved a few folks in my life, right? And I done been saved a few times. Rip, Rip. But I say all that to say sometimes your friends can see things that you don't see. So tell us about your baby daddy so we can give you a good answer.
Alonzo Arnold
Did she say that friend didn't come see her kids?
Dre Nicole
Yeah, she says she has always been there for her friend's daughter. But her daughter, I mean, but she's came to see her son only outside of picture.
Alonzo Arnold
So. See, that's why I caught that.
Lex P
Yeah, that's little cuz. Now the child's here, right? It's already been show up.
Alonzo Arnold
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like you said that she probably telling you to get an abortion because of that. That man. Yeah, either that, either that man is a no good man or she might be with that man. You never know how some of these feelings.
Lex P
Yeah, that's true.
Alonzo Arnold
So you, like you said, we need a little more to the story.
Lex P
A little more to the story. Because like I said, the few times in my life that I've told a friend not to have a baby by someone or have an abortion, it had nothing to do with the baby or it had everything to do with the man. Everything to do with who the man was.
Dre Nicole
Yeah, because she said too that she feel like she told her to get an abortion, but she never told none of the other friends to get an abortion. Maybe they got good baby D or maybe they married. Married in relationships, we don't know because you didn't provide all of that content.
Lex P
You was giving a one sided story. Give us more.
Dre Nicole
Yeah, but I mean, in some cases though, people do be being weirdos and.
Lex P
They do be hating.
Dre Nicole
Yes, yes.
Lex P
So sometimes a girl tell you don't get pregnant because she like. Cause you gonna live a glamorous life.
Alonzo Arnold
Right. I'm be here by myself.
Lex P
Yeah.
Alonzo Arnold
You know, do what's best in your heart.
Dre Nicole
God, I agree. Do what's best for you. You know, you can't. I feel like when it comes to situations like that, not trying to be funny, but if it's coming down to you having a child, you shouldn't be taking your friend and like, no way it's between you and your man.
Lex P
But now that the child is here, as far as yalls friendship goes, if this person is somebody that you care about and you're truly happy around them, reconcile the relationship. But if you feel like life is good and I'm cool not being your friend, that's your answer right there.
Dre Nicole
Yeah, it's up to you.
Alonzo Arnold
I'm all about what they said. Give her one more chance.
Lex P
One more chance. Okay, Alonzo, let the people know. Okay, let me ask you this. Do you still take clients to do their hair?
Alonzo Arnold
Yes, I do.
Lex P
Okay, so tell them how they can book. Okay.
Alonzo Arnold
So a lot of people been asking me if you go to my Instagram, which is, I am Alonzo Arnold. You can click the link in my bio and it'll say book an appointment. And you can book there, honey, and you can come and see me get slayed, get a laugh in.
Dre Nicole
You can be booked up weeks in advance, months in advance.
Alonzo Arnold
Some people do. I had a girl booked in 2027, I ain't even know my damn book. 2027, she. I don't know what the hell she need. I'm saying, girl, 2027, we might not be. You just never know with Trump ass in office. You know, it's Just too much going on.
Lex P
Get out here.
Dre Nicole
Might be a rap.
Alonzo Arnold
This finna be Europe in a minute. Shit. So I was just like, ooh, girl, you know. But yes, I do hair. I do. I miss doing clients hair.
Lex P
Okay.
Alonzo Arnold
Like I used to just do nothing but make wigs in the house. And I. I'm like, damn, I need to get back into, you know, doing hair. Cause I get bored at home. So I'm back.
Lex P
Okay. So for. How much can somebody expect to spend?
Alonzo Arnold
So if you wanna, you know, if you wanna get your full lace wig, you got to get the hair for me, okay. Cause I be bringing plastic hair. Like plastic waterfalls, right?
Lex P
The Amazon hair.
Alonzo Arnold
We need real hair. Okay, now stop on Amazon wigs. I ain't gonna lie to you.
Lex P
They be looking good.
Alonzo Arnold
But a ballpark amount be about 2,200.
Dre Nicole
Okay.
Alonzo Arnold
Some tax money.
Lex P
Now do you accept afterpay or klarna?
Alonzo Arnold
I need before pay.
Lex P
Okay.
Alonzo Arnold
You know, right. I don't know if what does the acuity scheduler has Klarna? I don't know if they do, you know, put your Social Security number if you got a good credit.
Lex P
Right. Going in there like a full lace. Yeah, Frontal. What do you do? Sew ins?
Alonzo Arnold
I do do sew ins. So anywhere from. I would say because you got to get the hair from me. So like let's say if you get like a 22, 24, 26 and a sew in, that's like a thousand twelve hundred.
Dre Nicole
Do you still make u part wigs?
Alonzo Arnold
Mm, I still do you part wigs. Well, you know what? My assistant, girl that does them, she does them really good. She moved back to Africa, so now I gotta find somebody.
Lex P
She.
Alonzo Arnold
I mean, she make them tracks flat.
Lex P
Yeah.
Alonzo Arnold
And girl, I was even like, girl.
Lex P
How do you do it?
Alonzo Arnold
You know? So I think the more practice I get on it, it'll be better. Cause I'm talking about damn damn wigs was seamless. Like them up wigs. It was like she had a special type of cap that she get made. And the way she laid a track, it feel like it's nothing in your hair.
Lex P
I love that.
Alonzo Arnold
Yes.
Lex P
So what do you offer for 250Nazi. God damn it. I got to get in with a prayer.
Alonzo Arnold
I give you a ten minute call.
Lex P
Oh, Lord.
Alonzo Arnold
Right? A little how to do a curl for five minutes.
Lex P
I'm finna keep my bob250.
Alonzo Arnold
That's a good old quick wig.
Lex P
You know, let us know where we can find you and all that good stuff.
Alonzo Arnold
You can find me on Instagram. I am Alonzo Arnold. I've been on X or Twitter now a lot. It's I'm Alonzo bitch and TikTok Alonzo Arnold 6. So yeah, I'm all over.
Dre Nicole
Okay, thank you. This was.
Lex P
I love you, though.
Alonzo Arnold
I love y'all too. I feel like we known each other.
Lex P
For 30 years already.
Alonzo Arnold
Like this is a good lunch date or something.
Dre Nicole
Yes, I love.
Alonzo Arnold
Right. We will.
Lex P
Okay, now look, I'm gonna try to convince you to get that Klarna so I can get my soul in.
Alonzo Arnold
Come on, Klarna. Look, Karna. Karnata. Honey, we need a black version. What's the black version?
Dre Nicole
Okay, we need to see Klarna is the black version.

Y'all are tagging the wrong Poor Minds page. If you see at Poor Minds with no underscore, that is a fake page. Do not follow that page.
Alonzo Arnold
Okay?
Lex P
They blocked me, Andrea and the poor mod's page on both. So we only have one Instagram, one Twitter, one Tick tock. It is P o u r underscore M I n d s. All right.
Dre Nicole
And we got hella fake Facebook pages.
Lex P
Oh, the Facebook pages.
Dre Nicole
Our face. The crazy thing is our Facebook page actually have the least amount of followers.
Lex P
So if you're on Facebook, the one that's ours got the least amount of followers.
