We talked about this. Everybody looks at Winnie the Pooh as a cute little kid. Tom Story Eeyore was so where was his pants? Where was his pants? You're horny. Go to jail. You're around these children cause Piglet was a Child.
Drea
Cause I love to walk around my house with E. The Pooh style.
Lex P
But Piglet was a child. Piglet is a child. Why is your coochie out, Piglet?
Drea
Coochie was out.
Lex P
No, Winnie the Pooh coochie was out.
Drea
No, Winnie the Pooh had panties on.
Lex P
No, Winnie the Pooh did not have no panties on. Winnie the Pooh did not have no more. Piglet had a romper on.
Drea
All this time when I be saying I like to walk around Winnie the Pooh style, that means. I thought they meant, like, panties and a bra. No, that means a shirt. It means shirt. No panties.
Lex P
Go look at Winnie the Pooh, bitch. He ain't got nothing on the bottom.
Drea
It's only a ribbon.
Lex P
Titties on the top and dick at the bot.
Drea
Yep.
Lex P
He think he me or something. But he's walking around Piglet like this. Okay, what's wrong with that?
Drea
That's his.
Lex P
That's not right. No, I walk around you Winnie the
Drea
Pooh style all the time.
Lex P
But, Piglet, I'm not a child. Piglet is a child.
Drea
I thought Winnie the Pooh was a child, too.
Lex P
No, Winnie the Pooh is at least 26.
Drea
No, he was not.
Lex P
Hold on.
Drea
No. The fuck he wasn't.
Lex P
Yes, he was.
Drea
No. How did you come to this conclusion?
Lex P
He lived alone. He had a home.
Drea
Piglet lived with his parents.
Lex P
No, Piglet was. He was paying rent in that tree.
Drea
So how do you know Piglet was a child, Piglet?
Lex P
Cause he used to leave his parents to go play with Winnie. Hold on. I'm not done, though.
Drea
This is already getting weird.
Lex P
Eeyore was suicidal.
Drea
He was. He was depressed.
Lex P
Eeyore hated life. He did okay. He was on his last leg.
Drea
Bitch. 13th reason, bro.
Lex P
What's up, y'? All? It's your girl, Lex P. And it's
Drea
your girl, Dre Nicole.
Lex P
And you are tuned in to another episode of Poor Mind, where a drunk
Drea
mind speaks sober thoughts. We ain't got no guests today. We ain't got no guests today. Okie dokie.
Lex P
We are guest free today.
Drea
Artichokey.
Lex P
Okie dokie. Artichokey. Did you say that as a young tot?
Drea
No, I just made that up. I was trying to make Fitch happy.
Lex P
Yeah, I don't think that's. But it was. I like it.
Drea
Somebody on TikTok gonna click.
Lex P
No, they're gonna be like, dress. Hold on. I'm gonna get a ranger over here.
Drea
Artic,
Lex P
first of all, let me say I'm tipsy. So before y' all get into this episode and be like, lex was doing too much. I do all the time. I'm tipsy. How are you feeling?
Drea
Always a little tipsy.
Lex P
But how are you feeling after this weekend? I know we don't like to talk about evergreen things as the episode gets, but we have to talk about it. We just came off of our first tour dates, fresh off of New York and Charlotte. How do you feel? How do you feel, girl?
Drea
I feel great. I really do. Like, it's been. Cause I think we were both really, really fucking nervous.
Lex P
Yes.
Drea
And, you know, I never really be nervous. Like, I feel like I be more so having to, like, calm me down, tell you, like, it's gonna be fine. We gonna do great. You gonna kill it. But, like, I was a little nervous this time too. And I just think just because, you know, we hadn't. You like that?
Lex P
It tastes like. Ah.
Drea
I hate sweets. Let me taste yours. Caus I got tequila in mine.
Lex P
This tastes like. I got a pepperoni in there. A pepper or a pepper?
Drea
Cheese. It's a pepperonci.
Lex P
Oh, that's what it is. What we had on that pizza. Yay. That tastes like a slice of pizza.
Drea
You been sucking dick lately?
Lex P
Oh, I definitely suck some dick on the ground.
Drea
Oh, my goodness. Did you brush your teeth?
Lex P
I did brush my teeth after. I promise I did.
Drea
I have remnants.
Lex P
I have dick remnants on my mouth. No, no, no, you don't.
Drea
I have dick remnants on my tongue.
Lex P
No, you don't. I brush my teeth.
Drea
That's crazy, bro.
Lex P
Cause I sucked it off the wa.
Drea
They swimming in there.
Lex P
Todd.
Drea
Who did that too?
Lex P
Yeah. Oh, my God. I swallowed it too. I ain't scared to put the mouth up on the dick. I swallowed it.
Drea
Who said that? What happened?
Lex P
King ain't playing.
Drea
I was like.
Lex P
Somebody said that I was gulping him down. Cause you know, we on tour. I be missing my man. I gulped it down. It tasted like Todd's throat.
Drea
Somebody bring me a toothbrush that. Cause what the fuck?
Lex P
Oh, my God. It was a grand old time.
Drea
Oh, my God. I forgot to ask that.
Lex P
No, but honestly, I did brush my teeth. Whoa, whoa.
Drea
I did brush my teeth, but it's still in there.
Lex P
No, it's not. It is. It's not. And you know, he works out a lot, so it went straight down. So just.
Drea
Cause it's clean. Nut I should be okay with that shit in my mouth. We're brothers, we're happy and we're singing and we're colored.
Lex P
Do do do do. Give me a high five. Yeah, but Anyways.
Drea
But no. So seriously, though, that was actually really good.
Lex P
It was that. That nut. Remote remnant, bitch.
Drea
Stop playing with me. Okay, correcto. We close.
Lex P
I'm joking.
Drea
We ain't that close.
Lex P
That close. You right. You right, you right, you right. Too far. Too far. Mm. Mm. Ew.
Drea
I cannot get it out my mouth now. Cause Kai made me think about it. Not by the time you look at him, because, you know, like, it's invisible. Like, firm and shit is.
Lex P
Oh, and his shit is clear. All he drink is water.
Drea
Well, I'm just saying, like, the actual sperm, like, when it's traveling, just kind of like bacteria. Like, you can't see bacteria unless you look under a microscope.
Lex P
Some of my coochie juice in there, too. Cause we kissed afterwards.
Drea
I'm just gusty, and you motherfuckers cannot be trusted. This is insane.
Lex P
I've even felt so dirty like this martini. Yeah.
Drea
How have I had a threesome without my consent? This is crazy.
Lex P
We keep getting closer. Closer. Closer to his neck. Oh, no. Sorry, y'. All. I'm sorry. I had, like.
Drea
Oh, my goodness. Okay, go ahead.
Lex P
Go ahead.
Drea
Bitch. What the fuck?
Lex P
Okay. You right. You right.
Drea
My dick is getting rock hard. Oh, my God. It's gonna be some fucking tonight.
Lex P
Oh, my gosh.
Drea
I really like this song, though. This is a great song. Why haven't we ever sung it for karaoke?
Lex P
Because we're not freaks.
Drea
Do you know that song, Ty? Mm. It's a good song. Shout out to Jaheem and Trick Daddy.
Lex P
You know you love that song, and I've never heard it.
Drea
I also love Jaheem and Trick Daddy. Separately, but also together.
Lex P
When she start bringing up all her dirt and the fights keep getting worse. Finding numbers in her purse. You better put that woman first.
Drea
He was low key a simp a little bit, though, bro. Cause why? What you mean? Finding numbers in her purse and you stayed.
Lex P
That pussy was too.
Drea
That pussy was hitting on something. She knew something, bitch. We could take a page out of her book. For real, though, she needs to write a tell all.
Lex P
Oh, my gosh. Let's talk about the tour. I'm sorry.
Drea
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I wonder if Jaheem would perform, though,
Lex P
at the live show.
Drea
Yeah, I think he would. Where is he from? Do anybody know where Jaheem is from? Is he from Chicago?
Lex P
No, because I said don't put your.
Drea
He gives Chicago man vibes.
Lex P
Does he? Yeah. No, he. When I think of Chicago back in
Drea
the day, like, I'm talking about him back in the Day.
Lex P
Oh, I was like, when I think of Chicago, I think of G herbo.
Drea
Yeah. When I think of Chicago, I think of R. Kelly. Exactly. He's from New Jersey.
Lex P
Couldn't be me. Could not be mean.
Drea
New Jersey. New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Lex P
Okay, okay.
Drea
He from New Jersey. See, I don't know nothing about New Brunswick.
Lex P
You can't stand a step in the love name, ass bitch. You love to step in the name of love. Who? You.
Drea
What are you talking about? No, I don't. I don't listen to that, man. I don't. Lex, if anything, one of us be listening to that nigga. And it don't be me.
Lex P
Not me, and it don't be me. Get back to the tour, bro.
Drea
Brunswick. Bush week. Oh, wait, that was that man name. He was from Houston, right?
Lex P
Bushwick Bill.
Drea
Yeah. I wonder what came. What was the influence for his name?
Lex P
I don't know. He was a little one, right?
Drea
Yes. Is he still alive?
Lex P
I don't think so. Rest. I just.
Drea
I'm sorry. I be going down a rabbit. I just. One thing. Take me to the next thing. To the next thing. That's why I really do think I be having. I think I have adhd.
Lex P
Okay.
Drea
My old therapist told me that, but I don't want to accept it.
Lex P
What does your new therapist say?
Drea
She says she doesn't think I have it, to be honest. Yeah, but my old therapist told me that she.
Lex P
Maybe it's a possibility. I think we're all walking around undiagnosed with something.
Drea
What do you think?
Lex P
You have a lot of things.
Drea
Okay, well, like, what's one thing? Let's make it short.
Lex P
What is something that is, like, when you're hyper?
Drea
Adhd.
Lex P
But I can pay attention.
Drea
Oh, you can focus?
Lex P
Yeah, I can focus. I'm just hyper and I'm having a great time. What's it called when you drink? Oh, I'm alcoholic. I'm diagnosed with that.
Drea
But that's not like a mental issue. That's all.
Lex P
Yes, it is.
Drea
That's a substance abuse thing.
Lex P
Damn. Substance abuse sounds too serious, bitch.
Drea
Cause it is.
Lex P
Let's bring it back. I can stop drinking if I want to.
Drea
Yeah. That's why I don't think you should say you're alcoholic. Cause I agree, technically it would be adhd, because that is attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Yeah.
Lex P
Okay.
Drea
Your mind is just always, like, hyper. You can never really focus on one thing. And then there's certain traits that I think that I have that like people with ADHD have, like, hyper fixation.
Lex P
Okay. Yeah.
Drea
Like, you know, like, I can go long periods of time eating the same meal.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
Like, two, three months until I get tired of it. And then I be like, ugh, I
Lex P
got a good two weeks. Two weeks. I can eat the same. Yeah. Two weeks max.
Drea
So back to the tour. Yeah.
Lex P
So fourth time we got it.
Drea
So, yeah, I was really nervous because we hadn't been on tour in over two years, and then we've changed the format of the show, so I didn't really know how the audience was going to receive everything. And then, of course, you know, you just have, like, first day jitters, like, hoping that the rundown go smoothly, hoping that we can stay on cue, hoping that our jokes hit and that they think it's funny, and hoping that neither one of us fall.
Lex P
That was my baby.
Drea
Thank God. But we've never actually fell on stage.
Lex P
I don't. Knock on wood. God damn. And shout out to our girl Kiki, cuz, you know, Kiki fell on stage before.
Drea
Why would you bring.
Lex P
Well, it was on camera. She Bri.
Drea
I do know that they did it,
Lex P
but she posted it. She posted it when it happened.
Drea
And so you reiterated it to 100,000 people.
Lex P
Oh, damn, I forgot. There's a lot of y' all in this chat. My bad key, but good thing KE
Drea
ain't gonna care, though. She gonna laugh at this shit.
Lex P
Yeah, yeah, yeah. But.
Drea
But, yeah, you know, just hoping that we wasn't gonna fall or like, nothing crazy was gonna happen. And I really feel like we did an amazing job. And not only did we do an amazing job, like I knew we would, but the audience was so great.
Lex P
Yeah, they were participating.
Drea
They were participating. They were so supportive. Like, it was so much joy in the room. Everybody was laughing. It wasn't no bad energy. I truly feel like everybody that was there was excited to be there and really excited to see us and was, like, anticipating. And I just think that made both of us. It gave us a certain level of calm, too, you know, and a certain level of peace to where we could just do our thing.
Lex P
Cause I think one thing about me, you know, this about me, as soon as I hit a joke and people
Drea
laugh, you gonna do it. Nothing.
Lex P
Oh, I'm finna cut the fuck up. So I just needed that one giggle. I didn't even say nothing. I said, what's up, y'?
Drea
All?
Lex P
That was like, ah, ah. I said, oh, this finna be a good night.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
But the only problem I had with myself was, I know now I'm not wearing heels for the first time on stage.
Drea
Oh, like a new pair.
Lex P
Yes. So when we went to Charlotte, I had never worn those shoes before. And those were some cheap heels I had to just buy real quick to match my outfit.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
Cause I don't have any red heels. And the red heels I do have, they're red and white. And it didn't really match. It was those Dolce and Gabbana heels.
Drea
Right.
Lex P
The red Christian Louboutins I had ordered didn't come in in time. Cause they're just like my black ones. You know, the classic black ones I have that I wore on Friday in New York. They're like that, but they're red. Ok. They didn't come in in time. So I bought these little cheap, little Amazon heels real quick.
Drea
Yeah, I mean, they looked good.
Lex P
You couldn't tell. No. It was somebody who posted a video. The way my toes was clinging on to dear life. Cause I had put oil on my feet.
Drea
Well, you know, I did see that video.
Lex P
But somebody did take up from me in the comments.
Drea
But I don't think that have anything to do with the quality of the shoe. I think that more so has to do with the fact that, like, your feet was probably too skinny. Cause I feel like whenever you feel like. Yes. I feel like whenever people. Feet be sliding and they toes be hanging over, it's like the strap isn't tight enough around your feet.
Lex P
But it was. But see, with my red bottoms, they don't do that. I don't know what.
Drea
Well, I mean, they red bottoms, it's a better quality shoe.
Lex P
That's what I'm saying. I think everything was loose on the shoe. So as the night went on, the shoe started to stretch out.
Drea
Oh, no.
Lex P
You see what I'm saying? Like, the. Started to stretch out.
Drea
Mm.
Lex P
I was holding on to dear life and I didn't even realize it. Cause I was so drunk. All the videos, I'm like this. I love y'.
Drea
All. Shout out to Charlie.
Lex P
Y' all having a good motherfucking time, bitch. Yeah. I be hollering now, gang, gang.
Drea
Do you get gang, gang?
Lex P
I be. Oh, my God. I was horrified.
Drea
So I keep throwing up gangs on Charlotte.
Lex P
Let me apologize to y'. All. Cause a lot of y' all were tagging me and I was not reposting shit. I didn't repost shit from Charlotte. Nope.
Drea
But you look good, though. Body was tea.
Lex P
Body was tea.
Drea
But babe, Max was assin'. It's okay, though. Please fuck up.
Lex P
I'm not doing that no more.
Drea
Please fuck up.
Lex P
That's all right. But I'm ready. I'm ready for the other tour date.
Drea
I don't think anybody. You was looking so fine. I don't think nobody was paying attention to your feet hanging over. I seen it only because it was a video, like in Ocean Drea. I said, damn,
Lex P
they finna go talk
Drea
that shit look crazy. I ain't gonna lie.
Lex P
It looked crazy.
Drea
Cause your feet was like, these on stage.
Lex P
Yes. And then I was giving, like, a speech. Cause I was saying how much I love her and how proud I am of, like, us and what we've built. And somebody was in the comments, was like, this is beautiful, but God damn them feet. But somebody responded and was like, obviously, she's oiled up, so you can see. Like. So somebody took up for me in the comments. I said, I didn't retweet that shit, girl.
Drea
You. Yeah, I did. I seen it. I was like, God damn. To be fair, too. I didn't notice on stage, like, it wasn't something. Till I noticed. Till I started seeing people post the recap videos. But it's okay, sister. It's okay. Everything, like, everybody have their moment where, like, everything sometimes. It's not always.
Lex P
It's raw. This is how poor my show is. Yes.
Drea
We was on stage and it was your first time wearing them shoes.
Lex P
Should I wear kitten heels moving forward?
Drea
No, I just think you should probably try the shoes on and see how comfortable they are.
Lex P
I'm just gonna wear the shoes I already have.
Drea
Yeah. No new shoes.
Lex P
No new shoes. No new shoes. No, no, no, no.
Drea
So, I mean, but how did you feel about the tour? You know what?
Lex P
I would say this. I mean, not about the tour, but the shows. I will say this, like, on a serious note. Like, you know, I haven't said nothing or addressed this, but, like, you know, I went through a little cancellation on Twitter, like, two months ago. Not even two months ago.
Drea
It's probably. I go through that every two months,
Lex P
but it was, like, really bad. And it was something so silly and something so crazy, but it was. In that moment, I was like, you know what? Twitter's not for me anymore. Cause I wanna go where I'm loved, and I know who I am at the core. And. But honestly, it was. And I'm not looking for sympathy, but the day that my cancellation happened. It was your birthday. It was my mom's birthday. We were working with Baskin Lather. Shout out to Baskin Lather. And I had so much good shit going on that day. I was with My best friend, I'm celebrating her birthday. I'm to celebrate my mom's birthday, and everybody's just dragging me. And I was like, you know what? Log off and touch grass.
Drea
That happened that day.
Lex P
Yeah, that was that day. But that's how it goes to show you how much I tuned out of it.
Drea
Oh, I tuned out.
Lex P
Cause you didn't even know.
Drea
Well, I know you had told me about the situation. Yeah, I told you the day, but I don't. No, I know you had told me about the situation and just that, like, people was trying to cancel you for something. Yeah, yeah. But I don't know that I remembered it was on that day.
Lex P
Yeah, it was that day. Cause it was happening when I had got off of the live and I went and seen it. But honestly, this tour shows me how fake the Internet is and how people will just drag you because they can't believe that you made it out. Everybody gets on the Internet and they log on and they give their performance of what they think people want to see.
Drea
Right.
Lex P
But me and Draya were able to do it to where people really fuck with us. Cause we've been authentic. And in that moment, my feelings were hurt because I love Twitter. I'm a Twitter ass girl. But I was like, you know what? My time has ran up on this app, and I have found my community of people who really know me and they know my heart and they know my soul. I'm like, look at what we have built.
Drea
Ghetto superstars. Ghetto superstars. That is what you are.
Lex P
Yes. And tour made me realize it doesn't matter how people feel about you on Twitter. Go outside, touch some grass, and realize you're really making a difference. And you have built an amazing life for yourself.
Drea
Yes.
Lex P
And honestly, New York surprised the fuck out of me. Because the first time we went to New York, I thought they hated us. New York was so lit. They was screaming the whole time.
Drea
Yeah, they had a ball in New York. I think that both shows were really lit, but that New York audience was something different. Like, I feel like the rest of the tour really got some big shoes to step in.
Lex P
Charlamagne popped out.
Drea
Charlamagne popped out. Weezy popped out. Lauren. Yeah, Lauren LaRosa. We had Maya Dunn perform like we had a star studded cash. Yeah, it was very nice. And unfortunately, you know, I don't want y' all to think that it will be that way in every city.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
Cuz it will not. Sometimes y' all just gonna see me,
Lex P
and that's all y' all need these be surprising.
Drea
Gonna have to be happy. Yeah. Okay. Cuz that's what it's gonna be. But. But yes. Like, I had a great weekend. I did. I had a great weekend.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
Then I got back and I got my new car.
Lex P
Talk about that car. Bitch. That interior is nasty. I think when I get my new
Drea
car, I'm gonna go something like that.
Lex P
Well, no, I'm definitely gonna. Because I have always been back and forth about the interior because I'm like, oh, am I gonna get tired of it? But after seeing your red, when I do give me a new car, I'm definitely gonna get red interior.
Drea
But I do think you should get something like more muted like that.
Lex P
Yeah. Not like a bright.
Drea
Cause I think that when people get something really bright, you get tired. That's when you really get tired. It's burgundy. Yeah, it's like a burgundy. It's called deep garnet. That's what Land Rover calls it.
Lex P
Well, I'm not getting a Land Rover, bitch. But.
Drea
No, I know, but I mean, you could, if you wanted to, we could get matching ones.
Lex P
I'm thinking about a Honda Civic.
Drea
Bitch, you're not getting a Honda Civic.
Lex P
You don't know what I'm getting.
Drea
And I'm not saying that. Cause there's nothing wrong with a Honda Civic.
Lex P
No, it's not.
Drea
Nothing wrong with it, but you're not getting a Honda Civic. You're a liar.
UnitedHealthcare Narrator
Health insurance matters, especially for athletes. But healthcare isn't some one size fits all proposition, even though it's been treated that way.
Drea
Fore.
UnitedHealthcare Narrator
Thankfully, UnitedHealthcare has been rethinking things. As young female athletes, a lot of us grew up without fully understanding what our sports demanded from our bodies. We weren't taught enough about proper fueling, recovery, or even how women's bodies develop over time. And when injuries happened, the focus was mostly physical, but the mental side totally ignored. But when you're all about being an athlete and you suddenly can't compete, that's tough. It's one reason many women don't return to sport after serious injuries. But things are improving. Research is starting to focus on female athletes, not just treating them like smaller versions of men. But there's still a gap. Real recovery takes a connected care team. And UnitedHealthcare is working to make that kind of support more accessible so every athlete keeps moving forward. Lex P
You don't know what I'm gonna get.
Drea
I think you gonna get. I think I know what you're gonna get if I'm being honest. Okay, I think you're gonna get
Lex P
stopped.
Drea
Gle. I had to stop myself from saying the second part, but I do. I think that's what you're gonna get like. Cause you've been. That's what you've been wanting for a really long time. Like I think that's what you gonna
Lex P
get but I mean we'll see how everything is looking. And like I said, I've started back re renovating my house and things like that. So my go my house and then
Drea
get a car but y' all Betsy
Lex P
keeps breaking down and it's making me so sad.
Drea
I don't know as somebody who like this my third car in six years and that's me. But that's the thing though. I'm saying that to say I don't know, I feel like you feel that way but then once you get a new car, it's really going to motivate you to just keep getting some more money. Like now this car for sure. Like I just feel like a boss ass rich ass bitch in this car. Like I got the Sport this time so I stepped up from you put
Lex P
it in sport mode.
Drea
Yeah. I got like the big body and then I got the Range Rover Sport and then like just the interior everything. Like when I hop in the car it just make me feel like yeah, you got to keep getting this money so you can. Yeah. So you could keep living like this. So you can keep driving like this. Like I don't know. And I feel like that's. I know you're dreading having a car note because you haven't had one for so long and I get that cuz I felt that way too before I had got my last car. Cuz I just did had got so used to not having a car note for like three, four years. Yeah but I promise you it's just gonna make you be like yeah this motivated me to get into that bag. Well then maybe one day once we get a major deal bitch, you'll just be able to pay it off and you ain't gonna have no car notes. Right.
Lex P
I mean that's my goal. Because I will say blessings are upon me and I wake up every morning I thank God. Cause the real thing I wanna do is I wanna put it under LoveXP I wanna put it on my business credit. Cause I'm not gonna lie Love LEXP does well enough Clap it up for Love Lexp does well enough Clap it up that I that's gonna be where my car note it comes out of
Drea
that comes out of that money. Yeah.
Lex P
So I can get a car right now I just wanna make sure my business credit is right. Cause I wanna do it under your beat that way. But also I think I have a little just bond to my car because you know the guy I was dating at the time, he had sent me the money to put the down payment on the car. But my mom took me to get my car. So I have this weird bond with my car. Cause me and my mom went and got it together and she had to like put it under her name and all this stuff and I remember cause
Drea
then when you moved to Atlanta you had, didn't you. You had refinanced.
Lex P
I had a refinance the first year
Drea
you moved here and then it was just in your name like you took your mom off. I remember but I mean I told you what I think you should do. I think even if that shit don't work no more, you should just keep it. Cause it's gonna be like one of those things that you could sell on ebay one day. Like, just like they buy Michael Jackson gloves, they gonna buy Lex P. Challengers.
Lex P
If somebody want that shit, they gonna
Drea
want it just to have it in they fucking garage. Once you win your Oscars and your Academy Awards and shit, bitch, somebody is gonna buy that shit for like $200,000, and they gonna be like, oh, my God, this is Lexi first fucking car.
Lex P
Oh, shit.
Drea
Are you kidding me?
Lex P
Yeah, maybe you right. I am gonna keep it, though.
Drea
Like, I think you should. And I told you, like, maybe you don't have to house it at your actual home in your garage, but maybe you can get, like, a storage unit and just pay like, $40, 50. However much you pay for a storage unit and just leave it there. That's nothing to you at this point? $100 a month. That is a lot to talk. More than $3.
Lex P
That's a lot to me, Boo Boo. That's a lot to me. Don't tell them people. They be looking for me.
Drea
Ain't nobody looking for you.
Lex P
Let me ask you this.
Drea
Your taxes is paid.
Lex P
Oh, my God.
Drea
Thank God our taxes is paid now.
Lex P
Thank you, Jesus. Let me ask you this. This is off topic. Cause before we get into the topics I have seen, we have seen being in this industry, period. We have seen so many friends start businesses together. We're not only talking about podcasts, we're talking about anything, whether it be, like, you know, a hair business together, starting music together, starting a clothing store together, and then they split up.
Drea
Right.
Lex P
How do you feel like. Cause we've both lost friends in the journey. Do you think that friends be happy for each other when the other friend moves on and they continue to be successful? Cause even my close friend, obviously, this ain't no tea, but, like, Killa had a podcast, they split up, and they're both doing their thing. Like, do you feel like one friend would be jealous of the other friend if they're seeing more success?
Drea
I think it depends on the person, because I've seen both sides of the coin, like, throughout the growth and the success of Poor Minds, I've had friends who are extremely happy for me.
Lex P
Even though y' all aren't friends anymore.
Drea
Well, that's what I was saying. Like, I've had friends who are extremely happy for me. And then I've had friends who, like, they wasn't really that Happy. And I feel like that contributed to the fact that we're not friends.
Lex P
I see what you're saying. Yeah.
Drea
Yeah. So I really think it just depends on somebody's personality. And like, I don't really. I think some people are just naturally jealous spirited and like, if you are on the same level with them, are y' all are equally yolked and y' all are doing the same thing, like having the same success, the same accolades, making these the same amount of money, whatever. I think that when that's the case, it's easy for people to clap for you and to be happy for you, but when you start to surpass them and you start to rise above, I think sometimes that's a tough pill for people to swallow, especially when it's somebody who has been around you before the success. Because sometimes they still want to box you into that category and look at you as that old person or that old version that you were. But it's like, no, I've grown past that. I've elevated past that. And you keep trying to look at me as this old version of myself, but I'm not that no more. And so I really think it just depends on how secure somebody is and they self. Because if you're securing yourself, you understand that somebody else being in a winning season and doing better than you doesn't mean that you won't get there and it doesn't mean that it won't happen for you. It's just they season and it's day time and you being a hater ain't gonna propel you to where you trying to be faster. If anything is gonna hinder you from getting to where you're trying to go. But how do you feel about it?
Lex P
Well, I always feel like it's interesting, right? Especially if you two have seen success together.
Drea
Oh, so you talking about being successful?
Lex P
Yeah. Like y' all seen success together.
Drea
Okay.
Lex P
Maybe you feel like you the Beyonce or she feel like she the Beyonce, or y' all both feel like y' all the Beyonce.
Drea
Okay.
Lex P
And y' all go y' all separate ways and then one is seeing success and maybe the other one isn't. So I always feel like the other one feels like nae nanny boo boo. Or maybe the other one feels like, what the fuck? You know what I'm saying? So I always feel like, can you be happy for somebody if y' all seen success together and then y' all go your separate ways and this. And maybe your wins aren't as big as theirs. Like, how does that Other person feel like, would you feel a little bit of jealousy in that situation if you're not the person who's winning as much? Like they go off and they're still winning and you're not winning as much?
Drea
I've had a situation like that, yeah. We were business partners, we were friends first. We were business partners and then we brought our business back to the states and then I started so mixy and I was like, hey, I wanna, we can make this business that business. And she didn't want to do it, so we went our separate ways. But there for. And this is where I think your point comes in. Like, I think it depends on the friendship, how strong that friendship is. And then are you able to put that aside because we can both grow now. She has her own business, she's successful in her completely different realm and I'm successful in mine. But we support each other. Like we even collaborate sometimes. But I think if you ended it on a bad note and then that kind of broke the friendship, then I think that's where you have some of that jealousy or like some of those like negative connotations to come and creep in into the mindset about it.
Lex P
I agree.
Drea
And I just think that's such a low vibrational way to look at things because if you stay focused on what you got going on and what you're trying to accomplish, that person's success will not bother you at all because you gonna still get to where you're trying to go. I often think that when people do things things together and then they break up and then it's the separation and one person ends up elevating and the other person ends up being stagnant. It's because that person who is the person ends up being stagnant because they're so focused on the person that's elevated instead of focusing on what the they need to be focused on. They so bitter because they see what this other person is doing and they hone in on that and then it becomes an obsession and it's like, well, I hate this person. And it's a smear campaign to try to make them seem like, well, they ain't. And they the reason why we broke up and they the reason why I can't do what I want to do instead of just focusing on what it is that you want to do because who's stopping you? Like every time I see groups of people, whether it's multiple people or a pair, people break up, it's always one person who don't say nothing. And the other one and another motherfucker who can't stop talking about the sheet. And the person who can't stop talking about the sheet is always the one who, who does elevate guilty and they
Lex P
be the guilty ones.
Drea
I wouldn't even say that to be fair. Cause we would never really know what really happened. I think sometimes even people who quiet are sneaky. I say this as a person who myself like I won't really say shit about a lot of stuff. I let people think what they want to think. That don't mean I didn't do nothing. Sometimes I'm just not gonna confirm or deny like I don't owe you an explanation, you know what I mean? So I wouldn't necessarily say that the other person is guilty. I just think with some people they just feel the need to often explain they selves a lot. Whereas other people, they don't feel like they owe nobody an explanation. They just gonna keep elevating.
Lex P
Right. I think when you folk. I agree with that. Just focus on the word.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
If you feel like you so great and so this and so that. And a lot of times I will say too, people will break up and one person to despite that other person will throw themselves into work and rushing things just to say I did, oh, I've been working. I started first, I started first. But you putting out slop and it's really not that good. But you just trying to rush to the finish line. You know what I'm saying? So I see a lot of things like that and this has nothing to do with anything that we just said. But I was having a conversation with a close friend of mine and we were talking about how everybody always likes to say, oh, I'm the Beyonce of my family, I'm the Beyonce of the group. But you know what? Nobody really talks about at all how special you have to be though to be a Kelly Rowland, right? To be talented. You still successful, you still seen it, but you're also supporting your sister and you're continuously clapping. Cause one thing I hate, I hate cause Kelly Rowland is one of the most interesting women in the world in my opinion.
Drea
From what?
Lex P
I've been a Destiny's Child fan since I was little and the way she holds herself in so much grace. Why are you interviewing Kelly Rowland and asking her about Beyonce? This is a Kelly Rowland interview. That is not my biggest pet peeve, so. Really? Yes.
Drea
Because I wouldn't get mad if I was in an interview and somebody asked me about you.
Lex P
I mean, but what I'm saying is if I'm promoting a project of mine. And they were like, okay, so tell us, what does Muse Beauty have coming up next? Hold on, man. Let me promote my shit. Yeah, but I'm saying. I'm not saying that Kelly gets mad. Cause she doesn't get mad.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
But I think what she has done and the grace. And I'm not even saying that she needs to give grace. Cause I truly believe the way that she supports Beyonce is beautiful. And it's mutual.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
But nobody talks about how special and talented and how poised and put together you have to be to be a Kelly Rowland. Cause people are always comparing them. Cause you know how mad that makes me when people do that to us. So imagine the amount that Kelly being a worldwide superstar, her and Beyonce. Imagine on that level. Cause we deal with it on a small level. So the fact that she's been able to do that, still seek success, still show up for her sister. You gotta be special to be a Beyonce. But you also have to be extremely special to be a Kelly Rowland as well. I agree.
Drea
I mean, it's annoying to me at most when people compare us, but it is. I've gotten to a point to where it doesn't really bother me anymore. Because that's what people gonna do. They've been doing this since the beginning of time. Like, when you're in a group again, going back to what we was just talking about, a pair, a group. People are always gonna compare y' all to each other. Because everybody got. They fave. You know what I mean? So it's like, if you. Somebody fave, they gonna compare me to you in a way that's not favorable because they more partial to you. Vice versa. If somebody. If I'm. They fave, they gonna. To compare you to me in a way that's like. Makes me more favorable in the light because they're more partial to me. It's. It's weird. And it's unfortunate that people do that, because I do think that that's been the demise of so many relationships, friendships, business partnerships, all of those things. Because people are comparing one person to another, and then people start to internalize the comments and the opinions of the public.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
And they let that come. Come between the. The actual.
Lex P
They read them comments and they start believing them.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
And they be like, you're right. This person doesn't like. Let me tell y' all something. When I tell you, them comments always. Oh, Draya can't stand when I tell y'.
Drea
All.
Lex P
Can't tell me Nothing about my friend. Y' all really be trying to convince me of one thing or be like, they be even bringing Ty into it.
Drea
They do be bringing Ty into it.
Lex P
They do.
Drea
They be like, I wonder how Ty feels being the. Oh, being the buffer or something. Yes, yes. Somebody said, what do you. How do you know how Ty feel about serving genuinely? But this is the thing, though. And this is the thing about me. I don't really give a fuck. Cause at the end of the day, Lex do get on my nerves sometimes. And I feel like it show on camera. Cause she do be getting on my nerves sometimes. Maybe Todd do know it and maybe everybody else in the room know it too. Hell, Lex be knowing it like it's no secret.
Lex P
And I might add a little sauce on there to make it work.
Drea
But the thing that makes the thing that's funny to me is that, like, y' all don't know us. I get tired of saying this because I feel like it's like beating a dead horse. Y' all don't know us. Y' all don't know what might have happened before we got on camera. Me and Lex could have had an argument. We could have had a disagreement about
Lex P
some shit, or could have not even been here today or.
Drea
Or it could have not even been about her, but I'm just not really in the mood or whatever. Cause it have been times too, where they be like, you not in the mood to record? Or you seem like, oh, somebody said,
Lex P
I ruined the episode last week. They said, lex, this is on you. They said, you ruined the entire episode today. This is on you today. I said, period.
Drea
And sometimes I get on Lex nerves, too. Like, it be like, we've been friends for a long time, but I do think Lex have more of, like, a poker face. So when I be getting on her nerves, she don't really show it as much. Me, I just be like, bitch, you getting on my nerves. And I be looking like it. But at the end of the day, this is still my friend. And I love her. We love each other. And nobody can ever come between our friendship. And when I have issues with you, I literally, I bring to your front door, and so do you.
Lex P
And I also think, can I.
Drea
And this is.
Lex P
Since we're on this topic, okay, I have my chicken in time.
Drea
We ain't even gotten to the first.
Lex P
We only doing one topic. But I will say this.
Drea
They shaking their head. Cause we told them an hour, 15 minutes.
Lex P
No, we're gonna stick to an hour, I promise y'. All. They said, no. They don't believe in us. I also, when y' all see, like, a podcast breakup or somebody, I hate when they tag us and be like, poor minds. Please don't do this. Please don't do this. Like, y'. All. I promise you, me and Dre are good. We're safe, y'.
Drea
All.
Lex P
When I tell you me and her are so aligned, even to the point to where everybody was convinced that me and Dre planned our outfits all the time. Like, this is my sister. Like, you don't get to pick your sister.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
And it's not like I. Like, this is God ordained. I always say that. Like, this is my sister. And even to the beginning of time till now, if something happens to the point to where, if it comes to the money or my friendship, I'm always gonna pick the friendship. But now we're to the point to where.
Drea
Pick both.
Lex P
We get that choice, though. Cause shit is good. What do we have to complain about?
Drea
I think that's why. But I think that's where people have to understand it will never be no separation or no issue. Because not only do we always choose our friendship, but we also have, like, common goals. Yes. What we want in life. And we not dumb enough to fuck that up over, like, emotional feelings in the moment. Cause we're. We're humans.
Lex P
But money is the motive.
Drea
And I know sometimes people be looking at me more specifically, like, oh, I seem so stoic, and, like, I don't really have, like, feelings and emotions, but I do.
Lex P
I see you cry.
Drea
I mean, you done made me cry.
Lex P
You didn't have to say that out loud.
Drea
Well, I mean, not, like, not in a bad way, but, like, we've been friends for so many years. Like, things have happened between us off camera that, like, the public don't know about and they will never know about, because we never gonna go public and talk about this.
Lex P
That's all right.
Drea
But I've made you cry. You made me cry. Like, we've been through shit, and we've worked through it, and we always gonna work through it, and it's gonna always stay between us. Cause we family. We never gonna bring it to the forefront. And I think that's why it's weird when people try to do all of, like, the comparison and trying to dissect our friendship and trying to break us up. Cause y' all don't know the half that we been through that we got through, and we never brought it to the show.
Lex P
Cause I think one thing that y' all don't understand, too, is Like. Like, when I cry, we crow. You cry. And we cry together. Together.
Drea
And we all crow and we crowed, bitch.
Lex P
We be crowding.
Drea
We do be crowding.
Lex P
You know, we.
Drea
My Croty. Ooh, that's a good.
Lex P
We need to write a song.
Drea
Drake need to put us on the team.
Lex P
Croty is crying. I like that.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
But. Yeah. So I feel like this is. We're having a ball. I think we. We have. We have.
Drea
It's no longer. It's no longer a ball, bro.
Lex P
We be having a ball. I'm saying, though, like, I think a lot of times y' all only see, like, an hour and a half of us once per week. And y' all don't understand. 95% of my life is fan fucking tastic.
Drea
And n be in bad moods sometimes. Like, I think people have this perception that we're like, characters. Bitch, I'm not no character. I'm not here to tap dance for you niggas.
Lex P
But I can't.
Drea
I'm a real. I mean, we can't. She can to one song. But we're not characters. Like, we're real humans and real people, and we have real emotions, and we go through real life shit. And I think sometimes it just sucked that people don't give us, like, the grace for that. Like, Ty, I could be talking to you. Like, it be times where like. Like, me and Ty, I feel like we be talking about stuff and me and Todd be feeling the vibe. And I feel like she can understand what I'm talking about. So I'll be looking at her, and I'll be talking to her for a long time now. Swear. Because I'm looking at Ty and talking to Ty. I got an issue with you, Cole.
Lex P
Time. I just can't see that far.
Drea
It just be weird. Like, people be so weird, bro. But I also think y' all both have a strong sense of self.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
Before y' all came together. Like, there's no y' all not looking at. At each other. Comparing each other to what each other has either. Some people are like that.
Lex P
Yes.
Drea
And so that's what makes it harder. Because that's to that point of them elevating separately. You still comparing yourself because y' all were comparing yourselves as partners when y' all were together.
Lex P
That's a great point.
Drea
We don't try to be like each other.
Lex P
Yes. Like, we didn't go in this friendship comparing each other or looking to feel like some type of weird void. That's actually a really good point. Cause I do think Sometimes that does happen. You become friends with somebody and you be like, oh, maybe I should do this.
Drea
Like, exactly.
Lex P
She does this and she gets it. Like I have never looked at my friend be like, oh, I want that for myself. I'd be like, period poo.
Drea
Right?
UnitedHealthcare Narrator
Health insurance matters, especially for athletes. But healthcare isn't some one size fits all proposition, even though it's been treated that way forever. Thankfully, UnitedHealthcare has been rethinking things. As young female athletes, a lot of us grew up without fully understanding what our sports demanded from our bodies. We weren't taught enough about proper fueling, recovery or even how women's bodies develop over time. Real recovery takes a connected care team, and UnitedHealthcare is working to make that kind of support more accessible so every athlete keeps moving forward. Pooh.
Drea
Get that shit, fam.
Lex P
You know what I'm saying? So I don't know, but I just be saying we be having a dig. That's all I want y' all to know. We be having a dig and just let it roll.
Drea
That's a viral audio now.
Lex P
Yeah, the girls are having a dick.
Drea
And that's why y' all need to get y' all tickets at www.poormoney.

So y' all can see us have a dick in person and see how the vibes really be.
Lex P
And shout out to my only cat, you have a dick, too.
Drea
Oh, okay.
Lex P
All right, you're cut.
Drea
Topic number one.
Lex P
I thought we're gonna do this one. Oh, you wanna?
Drea
Well, actually, before we get into topic number one, Ty, what we drinking today? Because this is actually delicious and I'm gonna need another one. You want another one? You want tequila in yours? In this one, or you want to try vodka? No, I'm gonna stick to tequila. All right, so because Lex has some other stuff going on, we gonna call this one the Big Gulp, okay?
Lex P
Ooh. That's what I did this morning.
Drea
Exactly. So for this one, you literally can choose any spirit, usually vodka, gin, or tequila. I have gin, Lex has vodka, Drea has tequila for now. But I also did, like, a spray of the glass with dry vermouth and then added some pepperoncini. Pepperoncini. If I ain't say it right, y' all know what I'm talking about. It's this little spicy pepper right here. I use the juice of that, so it's kind of pickled and. And spicy. And then I used some pickle juice and olive Brine. Just a little bit of each so it's not terribly salty. This is good. And, yeah, you just shake that on ice. And then I garnished it with some stuffed blue cheese olives, and then one of those pepperoncinis in there. So cheers to y'. All, the big goat, period. Thank you, Todd.
Lex P
Now, Todd, let me ask you a question as a bartender before you make Drea's drink. How do you feel when people order martinis and put tequila in there?
Drea
I don't mind, because I'm super picky on what I want to drink, so I don't mind if that's. Judge me if you want it. Like, people come up and ask for a reposado tequila, lemon drop all the time. French 75s. They want to switch it out and put whatever. You can put bourbon, you can put tequila. I don't care. Okay, just tell me your. And actually, when we bartend for so mixy. Somixy.com, we actually just make our mixers without the alcohol. And then when we're at the events, even if the menu says vodka, tequila, whatever, you can switch it out. It's your preference. It's your world. Yeah, I feel like you can have. So I'm into. Lately I get all of my regular drinks up, like, in a martini glass, because I just don't want the ice. I'm not about your money. It's not about changing the drink up, because I actually want the drink, but I just want it to be, like, with no ice. And I feel like it looks cuter in a martini glass than to just have it in, like, a regular glass with. No. What do you ask?
Lex P
Ask for up.
Drea
Like, what drinks would you ask for? Girl? Everything. Like a margarita.
Lex P
Yes.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
Well, I. Yeah. Because I get spicy margaritas a lot, so I'll ask for, like, a spicy margarita, but to be honest, that's really it.
Lex P
That's all you really drink.
Drea
Yeah. It's mainly just a spicy margarita because that's the only thing that they would typically put ice in. Yeah. That I don't want ice in. But I'll get, like, lemon drops. But I'll get tequila instead of vodka. I do French 75s, but I'll do tequila instead of gin. I love a Hugo Spritz.
Lex P
Yes.
Drea
And sometimes I get, like, a shot of tequila in it, too, so I
Lex P
just feel like tequila has such a distinctive taste.
Drea
It's strong.
Lex P
So I feel like whenever you get something that has vodka in it and you try to change it to tequila, it just changes the whole taste of the drink.
Drea
Because with vodka, like. Like you can mask the liquid. Vodka picks up anything that it's mixed with. Versus tequila. You're gonna get some of those vegetative, like those herbaceous. More herbace. Yeah, exactly. You're gonna pick those up a lot.
Lex P
Like when people get an espresso martini with tequila. You're a sick bitch.
Drea
I've been that. I like everything but vodka in espresso martini. Yeah. I'll do bourbon. I'll do a repo. A mezcal. Yeah.
Lex P
Ooh, you dirty. Ty.
Drea
I am so filling you a whole new level with that. I'm gonna have to try mezcal with my espresso martini, bro.
Lex P
I'm trying travel queens. You was having a ball at that
Drea
mescal at that mezcal.
Lex P
I lied the whole episode.
Drea
No, it was one that you did really like. It was like more of a muted mezcal. Like it wasn't as empower. Like it wasn't as powerful as a lot of them are. You really enjoyed that one. So you don't like the peatiness like that?
Lex P
I hate that smoky. The only thing I like smoky is my beans, bitch. Okay. Don't bring that shit over here.
Drea
You like a little smoke on your beans? I mean your meat too.
Lex P
Yeah, the meat I had this morning.
Drea
Big goat.
Lex P
I'm sorry. I'm ready to go. I need round two. Round three. Strap on. My man. Did good last night.
Drea
So tell us real quick about your vacation, cuz it looked like you had so much fun and I really want to go and stay at this. Were you at a resort? No, I don't like resorts as much. You stayed at a villa? Yeah, so we had a villa in Oyster Pond, which is like on the French side, completely away from the ducks.
Lex P
Oh, you was in St. Martin?
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
Okay.
Drea
Okay. Yeah. And it was so beautiful. We had our own private pool, like, overlooking the ocean. It was. It was nice. It was good.
Lex P
Every time we come back to record, you done been on a vacation.
Drea
And I love planning the next one to be making me feel like we don't be living enough. We need to really take more advantage of our free will and start traveling more. Because why the. I, Todd, do go on a lot
Lex P
of vacations, but I plan to my tour vacation.
Drea
Yeah, see, that's my thing. Like I knew that. Where's the invitation?
Lex P
So I'm doing two. One is a baycation and one is for.
Drea
Oh, it's a baycation.
Lex P
Yeah, one is a baycation and then the other one is for like the girls, whoever wants to come. Seriously.
Drea
I think we should go on our vacation. Like the girls vacation. We should just go to Bali for Kiki's trip and then after that go for like a week.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
Or two somewhere.
Lex P
Cuz Bali is like you're kind of like in Bali because shout out to
Drea
Kiki, she doing a. A girls trip with. What is it called? Lux Tribe in September. So yeah, make sure we gonna put the link.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
Because me and Lex are gonna go.
Lex P
Yeah, I'll go do that.
Drea
We'll do that then you should come, Ty.
Lex P
Okay.
Drea
My birthday is September, so depending on the day. He's a Virgo too.
Lex P
Oh really?
Drea
Okay. Oh yeah, we should all go. That would be fun. And then maybe we can go somewhere else like afterwards over there. But you won't have to send me the villa. Cause I wanna start. And I would recommend highly recommended. What I didn't notice. And he has been to St. Martin before. This was my first time. He was like. We expected it to be a lot more older white people, but it was a lot of black female girl groups there. Like I'm talking about in droves. Everywhere we went, it was barely the men. Like maybe one or two men in the groups. So it's either vacation or girls trip location.
Lex P
Well, you know, that's why I said what I had said when we was like talking on Cam's show and we were like, oh, is that passport stamped up? Because honestly, the girls be traveling. The girls are traveling. My best friend, she does like, she has a thing called afternoon tea. So what she's doing now, she's making it a trip in contrast to her podcast. And so the afternoon tea is a podcast, but we're going to different cities and having tea. We went to Mexico City for our first seat. All her girls popped up. The girls love to travel. And when we went to dinner. What you laughing at?
Drea
Nothing.
Lex P
What happened?
Drea
You was just talking and Morgan was looking. Cause we had 45 minutes and have not.
Lex P
I know it's coming anyway, but let me just finish this. And then when we sat down and we had the dinner, it's all women at the table, all black women. Everybody put their car down, all Amex plates, platinum. The girls are traveling, the girls are outside.
UnitedHealthcare Narrator
Yeah.
Lex P
So that doesn't surprise me. Yeah.
Drea
And I like Saint Martin. Like I actually want to go back though. I went back in 2018 and I only stayed there for like a day or two, but I feel like I really didn't get to.
Lex P
You went to St. Martin? Yeah. Who Was you with.
Drea
When I went on that vacation and I went to like, remember I was like island hopping when I was on a yacht for like eight days. I remember you messy as.
Lex P
Look, I remember.
Drea
Look, one thing about me, I always fall right in a trap.
Lex P
I remember.
Drea
Why did you do that?
Lex P
You remember why I did that?
Drea
I don't.
Lex P
You remember? Them teeth was in.
Drea
Oh, we had to go snorkeling for his teeth. Oh my God.
Lex P
Oh my God.
Drea
In the ocean. Yes, I was. I was down under.
Lex P
That's why.
Drea
Trying to find. And I could not find them hoes and he.
Lex P
You had to go looking for them?
Drea
I was helping.
Lex P
Yeah, everybody was looking.
Drea
Cause we were already snorkeling. So then the teeth, bro. He wasn't old either, by the way. Like. He wasn't old?
Lex P
No, he wasn't old.
Drea
He was young, like.
Lex P
Well, he wasn't young, but.
Drea
He wasn't old.
Lex P
But he wasn't like.
Drea
Y' all are probably 40s.
Lex P
Yeah, he was in his 40s. So they're probably thinking, oh, okay, A little backstory.
Drea
Cause I feel like you gotta give a backstory after saying something like that. He had veneers. Anybody who has veneers, I have veneers, so I know, like. And I haven't had to get mine redone since I got got them. But when you do get them redone, sometimes they give you partials in the meantime while your new ones are being, you know, created or whatever. So he had booked a vacation and he was getting his veneers redone. So he had like a set of partials in. And so when we went snorkeling, the partials fell out. Cuz the partials are essentially like dentures pretty much. So they fell out in the ocean in me.
Lex P
I wonder where he is and what he's doing now.
Drea
Yeah, no, I mean, it don't matter. He wasn't my nieces and I wasn't even fucking with him like that. I made him sleep on the deck. He had an awful trip.
Lex P
Oh, he did? Jesus, no coochie.
Drea
No. Yeah, he slept on the deck and I slept in the. In like the bedroom on the yacht.
Lex P
And the reason he thought.
Drea
I think he thought we were gonna sleep in the same bed. But it's like, no, sir, we was. Cause we was never even fucking with each other like that to begin when he just invited me and I was like, fuck it, I'mma go.
Lex P
She was. I was trying to.
Drea
I was trying to wig.
Lex P
You know what you was trying to do?
Drea
What was I trying to Do.
Lex P
Yeah, it was.
Drea
I was being a little divisive when I win.
Lex P
Okay, we need to go to this.
Drea
No, we need to do one of the topics, sister. But, Ty, can we get two more? Yeah.
Lex P
Is there a fairy tale or story we all heard as a kid that's extremely problematic now. Like, for example, and Cinderella, Why she didn't just whoop her sister and her stepmom ass, like, and be like, the person that, like, switched it up. You know what I'm saying? Like, that was her daddy house. She should have been in a wheel. It was abuse. You know, we talk about Belle the Beauty and the Beast, baby. You're not in love with this man. You are a victim.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
You have been held captive. You were kidnapped. You are a motherfucking victim. We talked about this. Everybody looks at Winnie the Pooh as a cute little kid. Tom Story. Eeyore was.
Drea
Where was his pants?
Lex P
Where was his pants? You're horny. Go to jail. You're around these children. Cause Piglet was a child.
Drea
Cause I love to walk around my house Winnie the Pooh style.
Lex P
But Piglet was a child. Piglet is a child. Why is your coochie out, Piglet?
Drea
Coochie was out.
Lex P
No, Winnie the Pooh. Coochie was out.
Drea
No, Winnie the Pooh had panties on.
Lex P
No, Winnie the Pooh did not have no panties on. Winnie the Pooh did not have the Pooh. Piglet had a romper on.
Drea
All this time when I be saying I like to walk around Winnie the Pooh style, that means. I thought it meant, like, panties and a bra. No, that means a shirt. It means shirt or panties.
Lex P
Go look at Winnie the Pooh, bitch. He ain't got nothing on the bottom.
Drea
It's only a red titties on the
Lex P
top and dick at the bottom. Yep. He think he me or something. But he's walking around Piglet like, okay,
Drea
what's wrong with that? That's his.
Lex P
That's not right. No, I walk around you Winnie the
Drea
Pooh style all the time.
Lex P
But Piglet, I'm not a child. Piglet is a child.
Drea
I thought Winnie the Pooh was a child, too.
Lex P
No. Winnie the Pooh was at least 26.
Drea
No, he was not.
Lex P
Hold on.
Drea
No. The fuck he wasn't 20.
Lex P
Yes, he was.
Drea
No. How did you come to this conclusion?
Lex P
He lived alone. He had a home.
Drea
Pigley lived with him.
Lex P
No, Piglet was. He was paying rent in that tree.
Drea
So how do you know Piglet was a child, Piglet?
Lex P
Cause he used to leave his parents to go play With Winnie. Hold on. I'm not done though.
Drea
This is already getting weird.
Lex P
Eeyore was suicidal.
Drea
He was. He was depressed.
Lex P
Eeyore hated life. He did okay. He was on his last leg, bitch.
Drea
For the 13th reason, bro.
Lex P
Winnie the Pooh. That's not. It's not a child's story at all. Donald Duck had anger management issues. Honestly, if the storyline would have went on, girl Daisy would have been murked. It would have been a story of a crazed husband has shot his wife down in the kitchen. Donald Duck had anger management issues. 100%.
Drea
Thank you, Todd. I'm telling y' all these about Pinky and the Brain. I used to really love that cartoon.
Lex P
Um, I think Pinky and the Brain was a narcissistic person taking care of somebody who was mentally challenged.
Drea
Damn, you're not wrong, y'.
Lex P
All. These writers were people who are writing out their lies.
Drea
Ooh, this is good.
Lex P
And they try to disguise it as a children's story. Wasn't shit funny.
Drea
Wasn't shit childlike.
Lex P
Wasn't shit childlike. Cinderella was being abused, bitch.
Drea
Cause my stepmother would have had me fucked up. I would have told that bitch, this is my daddy ho. Hey, be clear. This is my daddy ho.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
Cause what the fuck you mean? About to have your ugly ass daughters was ugly and as fuck hot. Them hot was so weak.
Lex P
Bitch needed Botox. Bitch definitely needed to go to the gym.
Drea
No, bitch didn't even need Botox. She just needed to die. They just needed to die. The mama needed to try again because absolutely, them was some chopped weakness.
Lex P
What's the one? It wasn't Rapunzel. What was the new version of Rapunzel? Brave. Not brave. She had the blonde hair and the mama tangled. Tangled. You just assaulted me. You cut somebody's hair without them wanting. That's assault.
Drea
Yeah. I'm telling you, like a lot of these fucking cartoons, it was abuse going on because, yes, I used to watch Cinderella all the time and be like. And not only was them hoes weak as fuck. Cause I used to be bullying her. Cinderella was weak as fuck.
Lex P
She was low key lame.
Drea
Because I would have fucking bucked back. Y' all would have had me fucked up.
Lex P
And on top of that, I would have fucked that nigga that night. Shoot. I don't give a fuck. Let's go upstairs, bitch. I don't need that fucking shoe. Put these rags back on me. Pussy still good. And he finna wasn't gonna be. He didn't have to search around the village to find this pussy. Bitch. We Leaving the ball together.
Drea
Cause I would've been trying to get out them trenches.
Lex P
I don't give a fuck what happens at midnight. Ho, pussy still fire.
Drea
No, but I feel you. You saying you would've fucked the nigga because you wouldn't have wanted to have to wait. You would have been trying to get out your daddy house.
Lex P
I don't give a fuck. You what? Only thing that change as midnights is these clothes. She didn't change this pussy. My pussy was good before she put these shit on me.
Drea
Put this shit on me.
Lex P
Take these red bottoms, bitch.
Drea
Fuck my fairy godmother, man.
Lex P
That hoe was weak too. You flying around granting other bitches wishes.
Drea
Impossible.
Lex P
Yeah, bitch, impossible.
Drea
And let's chat about that shit for a quick second. Because that low key, now that I'm older, that movie makes no sense. Rip to Whitney Houston. Cause she ain't got no business being dead. But that movie don't make not a fucking lick of sense. How the fuck do you have a fucking white father, a black mother? Whoopi Goldberg was the mother. A Filipino son. Then you got Brandy as the Cinderella, as stepdaughter. Then you got Natalie Desale. Rip to her, too. I think that's how you say her name.
Lex P
She was a.
Drea
She was one of the stepsisters. Then it was the white. Another white. I think as the stepsister. Then it was another. Then it was the white lady that. That she's like actually very decorated in the theater world. But she was the mother and she was a white lady. How the fuck y' all came up with this diversity? Yeah.
Lex P
Inclusion. Inclusion.
Drea
But that made it horrible, though. Cause sometimes it don't always need. Everybody don't need to be included.
Lex P
Yes, it do.
Drea
But you know what I like about it? No, you know what I think in the grand scheme of life, everybody needs to be included. Yes. But sometimes in movies and TV shows, the way they want to include everybody, sometimes to me it ruins the plot.
Lex P
But they told you what? It was impossible. They told your ass it was impossible. Bitch, just watch it. They told your ass was impossible.
Drea
Yeah, it pissed me off. But the singing, the soundtrack, phenomenal. Amazing vocal bible.
Lex P
Yeah. Amazing vocal bibles. Shout out to them a good time.
Drea
So, yeah, Whitney.
Lex P
Shout out to Whitney. RP to our mother, our Leo Queen. Oh, my goodness. But let let us know in the comments, what cartoons did y' all feel like were low key? Not what we thought that they were. I mean.
Drea
Yeah. Cause Prince Charming, he have no personality.
Lex P
No.
Drea
He was just rich, fine and tall. Always be lame. But I think these fairy tales just to end on this note, I think these fairy tales do be giving a lot of us ideas of what we think our relationships and our men should look like, because this is what we grew up watching. And we be like, okay, well, don't nothing matter as long as he's rich, fine, tall, and charming, and he can come save me.
Lex P
That's why.
Drea
I think that's why.
Lex P
Switch it up. And frozen, though, they were made to like.
Drea
They were made to as, like, moral compasses for adults. Like, it was less about children. They were, like, supposed to be folklore. To kind of guide them to do the right things or like, to be. Yeah. To kind of keep them on the straight and narrow. Yeah. That's where it's from. What you think because you watched so many fairy tales growing up, do you feel like when you got into adulthood and it was time for you to start dating, you had unrealistic expectations of, like, men or. Mm.
Lex P
Mm.
Drea
Cause I always wanted a fairy tale.
Lex P
I knew Little Red Riding Hood told me the truth. Ooh. Little Red Riding Hood was the only bitch. These n is wolves, man. Wolves and sheep's clothing. Straight up. I never felt for the gimmick bitch. Little Red Riding Hood told us the truth.
Drea
She did.
Lex P
And not only that, you know what that same wolf was? And the three little pigs? Bitch, that's the same wolf.
Drea
Was that the same one from the wife?
Lex P
I'll huff, I puff, and I'll blow your motherfucking house down.
Drea
Wasn't it a wolf in Snow White, too?
Lex P
Yeah, that wolf be getting it out. It was Snow White. Little wolfie out there. That wussy. That wussy done been around.
Drea
It was in the woods in Snow White. It was the dwarves. And I thought it was a wolf.
Lex P
No, it was the lady.
Drea
The wolf.
Lex P
The witch. The witch.
Drea
Oh, it was the witch.
Lex P
What's her name? Cause remember the apple. Yes, but they gave Angelina Jolie that movie that showed you that it wasn't her. It was a nigga that did her wrong.
Drea
I thought that was a different one with Angelina.
Lex P
Maleficent.
Drea
Maleficent. That was about Snow White.
Lex P
That. Yes, the wicked witch. That was the witch. But it shows you. Guess whose fault it was.
We weren't taught enough about proper fueling recovery or even how women's bodies develop over time. Real recovery takes a connected care team, and UnitedHealthcare is working to make that kind of support more accessible so every athlete keeps moving forward. I'm telling you, that's gonna change your and change your life.
Drea
Amen, sister.
Lex P
That's all right. The is so funny. You. What did I do? See, they let they say you me what I do. All right, let's get into the bed dread. What we got?
Drea
Okay, so we're gonna talk about could you date or be intimate with someone knowing that you weren't their best or favorite in bed and specifically if the title belonged to their ex. Like if somebody had an ex and they said she Got the best pussy out. She killing you hoes. Ooh.
Lex P
How would you know that though?
Drea
Because I'm assuming he would tell you. But I would never be with no nigga who told me that somebody else pussy was better than in mind. Cuz, first of all, you lying, period.
Lex P
I hate a lying ass.
Drea
You hate a lying ass who want to make you feel small.
Lex P
Yeah, cuz he wants you to step that. He wants you to just keep performing.
Drea
I can't step it up no more. Where do we go from?
Lex P
But he wants you to feel the competition. But also, if a man ever told me that somebody else had better than me, you don't really like me.
Drea
And he's not going to be my nigga after that. That's never. Cause he hates you actually.
Lex P
He actually hates you. That's not gonna make me work harder. No, actually I'm gonna be like, okay, so that means we're not connecting in the bedroom. Because see, this is the thing about me, you know, pussy can be good. You know the feeling of it.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
But I feel like the emotional connection that we have in the bedroom and them tricks. And them tricks, a combination of it all. We should be having something that's just that you can't.
Drea
I agree, it's everything but like, anybody can have good pussy. I always say, like, come on, give it to him. Pussy be good. Pussy gonna be good.
Lex P
You would know.
Drea
I'm just saying like pussy is gonna. Oh, you saying cause I've had it and. Cause I got one.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
Uh huh.
Lex P
Facts.
Drea
Pussy be good. Dick be good too sometimes. Yeah, sometimes. But it's about the emotional connection. Like the best sex that I've had in my life was because I had an emotional connection with a person. And it's also about like them just knowing your body and then, you know, what positions to do and knowing which position to do that's gonna hit that spot. Having flashbacks?
Lex P
Oh, sorry, go ahead.
Drea
I still need to go brush my teeth. The tequila is stressing me out. Maybe this I actually. Give me a shot. Cause that's really gonna kill that shit. I should have did that earlier in the episode, now that I'm thinking about it. But yes, it's definitely the emotional connection that you have with somebody that just really makes sex unforgettable.
Lex P
Unforgettable.
Drea
Cause I'm having flashbacks.
Lex P
That's what I'm saying. I think that a lot of times men don't realize that. So if you're dealing with a man that he's ever told you, oh, this person's XYZ was better. Oh, her head. Better than yours. That does not make me get in a competitive, competitive spirit. Because when it comes to sex, it should never be like. It's not a competitive sport.
Drea
If he tell you that, bite that.
Lex P
Yeah. Don't even with that no more. You need to dump.
Drea
Bite him while you at it.
Lex P
Yeah. Have you ever been in that situation?
Drea
I ain't never beat no D. No,
Lex P
no, I'm saying where somebody tried to compare you to somebody else sexually.
Drea
No, no, I never had. No, thank you. I never had a situation like that. Cause I just feel like I don't. If I'm being completely honest. I've dealt with men who have done some fucked up shit to me, but I don't. I truly don't think I've ever fucked with like no evil ass nigga.
Lex P
Okay, now I'm talking.
Drea
And I think it's a difference, you know what I mean? Because I think people can do messed up stuff to you, but sometimes it's not. Not intentional or it's not malicious. It's more so about them and what they want. And then it ends up hurting your feelings or it ends up breaking your heart or whatever. But sometimes it'd be more about them. And then I truly do feel like you have people in the world that are intentionally evil.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
That want to hurt your feelings, that want to break you down, that want to make you feel small and make you think less of yourself or make you less confident. Whatever. I don't know that I truly believe I've ever dealt with a man who. Who were like, to. Where his intent was to break me down and make me feel small. I feel like only a man like that would purposely tell you that somebody else pussy is better than yours or somebody else is better at sexting you and compare you to an ex and then put a name to it and
Lex P
like, that's crazy as fuck.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
Cause now I'm gonna be thinking about that. I'm self conscious about that at all times. Especially if you say the name too. You gonna be constantly comparing yourself to that woman. And I feel like it's an intentional, manipulative, like mental breakdown type of thing that he wants to do to you.
Lex P
And I don't.
Drea
I can't say that I've ever dealt with somebody who I feel like wanted to do that to me.
Lex P
It's crazy that you say that because I've never had somebody compare me sexually. But I dated a guy, now that I'm thinking about it, he would compare me to like what his exes would do, like career wise.
Drea
And that's an evil ass kid.
Lex P
Yeah. Oh, I mean, we know that now. Cause you know who I'm talking about. Exactly. And when I think about it, and it was at a time where I was like struggling and it's just so crazy to think about now because he would be like, yeah. Cause she got this going on. And you know, I like usually, you know, this is the type of woman I usually fuck with.
Drea
So go be with that bitch.
Lex P
Oh, but you know, that's how, you know I really like you because you don't got X, Y and Z going on. But I'm still, still like, it was like, yeah. And so it's like, it's crazy because I've never even looked at it that way. But now, like saying it out loud, I'm like, damn. I've never had somebody compare me, you know, like I said, sexually. But like, they did that career wise. But you know what? Look how the cookie crumbles. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But that's evil.
Drea
I think it's evil and malicious.
Lex P
Oh, yeah.
Drea
I think for somebody to purposely compare you to somebody else that they dated and then tell you what they was doing in the bedroom or tell you that they make more money than you, it don't even gotta be sexually. It could be financially, it could be whatever, like. But in general, or even maybe saying some shit like her hair used to look better than yours. Like you need to do your hair better or you need to do your nails a certain type of way. That's evil. You're trying to break a person down when you do that type of stuff. They're trying to make them insecure.
Lex P
And y' all gotta understand how they word it too, because they're not necessarily gonna say, oh, she had this hair. They might say something like, yeah, man, my ex, she used to keep her hair done all the time, right? Man, my ex used to put that shit, man. My ex used to make so much money, man. So it won't come off like they're comparing you. They're just letting you know what they ex used to do to make you feel small. Like you gotta do more.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
Cause I word it very, very crafty. Crafty.
Drea
But I think that niggas who be like those type of people, they be very crafty, like I said. I mean. And again, it's not to try to make it seem like cuz I have dated some who have done some. Like they ain't been perfect.
Lex P
Yeah, yeah.
Drea
But I don't think Nobody has ever intentionally tried to, like, mentally break me and make me feel like I was listening. I think they've done things to hurt my feelings. And then it was like, oh, damn. I ain't realized it was going to hurt you that much. Or maybe even if they did, they still did it anyways. But to verbally, I think that has, like, a next level of, like, narcissism.
Lex P
Oh, yeah.
Drea
Like, I always tell somebody some stories. That was probably.
Lex P
When I look back on it, like, I can always say I have. Can always say. Like, I look back on my exes, and I'm like, you know, it just didn't work out. He wasn't a bad person. I say that about a lot of my exes, but I always say that one, he was actually a bad person. I've had this conversation with her. I'd be like, I don't ever say that about any of my exes, but this is actually a horrible person. Like, I dated a actual evil person.
Drea
Yeah, I agree.
Lex P
And I don't. Looking back on it, I thought I couldn't get out of it. Like, when you're in it, you don't really see it how everybody else seeing it. And looking back at the conversations I would have with my friends, and it was so bad. It was like half the stuff that was going on, I wasn't even telling them out of embarrassment. Like, now when I go through stuff with my nigga, I be telling my friends. Cause we just be going through it. And I know things that we've been through. It's not like. Like he's trying to have this master manipulation thing. Like, we a couple, we go through it. But that relationship, that was an evil man.
Drea
Bitch, do you think he was trying to break you down?
Lex P
I think he absolutely was. And I think he also knew my potential as well. And I know it sounds crazy, but I think he also wanted to.
Drea
It don't sound crazy, though.
Lex P
He wanted to make sure he had a lock on me for life. I say control you.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
And when I moved, that was like my first step. Because when I originally moved to Atlanta, I moved to get away from him. Oh, wow. Wow. And I kept seeing him. And once he saw things, it was
Drea
just like one time he came out here, and I was like, fuck this nigga back.
Lex P
Yeah, he came back with vengeance. Every time, bitch, he did.
Drea
It was like, every time he came
Lex P
back, it was like he would get worse and worse and worse and do more things to, like. So when I was just like. And I hate. Like I said, a Big thing happened in my life to where it was like God was like, hey girl, get out. Wake the fuck up. But yeah, people do be evil.
Drea
Yeah, yeah. It's evil people in the world. Like I don't think that. And I say this all the time because I don't want people to go through life thinking that like, oh, you got to watch out for everybody. Cuz I don't feel like most people are, are inherently evil. I actually think most people are good people. They just do up shit. Sometimes they have up qualities. But then every once in a while you find people that are actually like evil people and not good people. And you just got to be able to have the discernment to know that it's difference. Because just cuz somebody do something up to you, that doesn't mean that they are an evil person. And you got to be able to be. You got to be able to differentiate between the two. But some people are actually just nasty people.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
And don't mean you will.
Lex P
Agreed.
Drea
But yes. So we ain't really talk about a bed, but that was a good topic though.
Lex P
It was.
Drea
Are you going to take a shot?
Lex P
No, I have, I have one.
Drea
Would you like one?
Lex P
I guess she was cool. Oh, I didn't drive. I didn't drive.
Drea
Yeah, I didn't have a car. I was looking at the fatty bourbon. I saw you didn't want to go eat.
Lex P
No. Yeah, I gotta go home. Cause I gotta do my rundown.
Drea
I know why you gotta go home. That's why I need that mouthwash.
Lex P
First of all, I have to work.
Drea
I mean, that's what I would call it too. That's what I be calling it when I do it.
Lex P
Working, working 9 to 5.
Drea
I be working on and off the clock.
Lex P
Okay, all right, now it's time to
Drea
get into the bed. I mean, the bop, hey, the bop,
Lex P
hey, the bow bow, bow, bow, bow, bow, bow. Okay, so what you been listening to? Oh my gosh, y'.
Drea
All.
Lex P
I realized like, you know, I'm not a Stan and things like that. I don't listen to a lot of rap music. But when I tell you I love when rappers come in the game and they just make consistently good music. And people be like, oh, he's probably gonna have one hit. And Boss Mandilo keep giving y' all fucking hits after hits after hits. He dropped his project called Chicken Talking Bastard. Bitch. Ooh. And it's good. I really, really, really, really, really like it.
Drea
So y' all know Chicken talking Bastard.
Lex P
Chicken talking Bastard. That's the Main. That's the title of the project. But that's his song with YK Neice.
Drea
Okay.
Lex P
YK Nese gets on a song she don't miss. Why can't he please come on the show? But yeah, the project as a whole, I really, really love. He has a song called Gas Money that I just really like. Like I'm a, uh. Oh, I didn't mean to play it. Bitch. They gonna flag us. Oh, my bad. That was another song. Cause G herbo is on a project too.
Drea
Shout out to G herbo.
Lex P
But I really. I'm a Boss Man DLO fan. I feel like a lot of times people just, like I said, count people out. They think they a one hit wonder. But. But he has been consistently dropping fire hits on us and I really think he's here to stay. You know what I'm saying? So shout out to Boss Mandelo. Solid project. I was listening to it while I got ready the other day and it's solid. Solid project. This emotion party you. Can I get in? I was smiling.
Drea
Cause they was saying it was your man.
Lex P
Spiritual word. Let me tell you how much I'mma beat y' all ass. Cause every time. Spiritual.
Drea
Spiritual word. Always posting us with a misleading ass caption.
Lex P
Why y' all don't give a fuck.
Drea
I'm gonna say that today on this goddamn episode. And I hope y' all clip this sheet since y' all be wanting to clip everything else. Y' all always posting our on y' all page with a misleading ass caption on. Damn. Well, that ain't the context of the clue.
Lex P
And y' all know y' all are family and we love y'. All. So why y' all do us like that? Y' all love to see us getting ate up in them comments.
Drea
They do.
Lex P
Because why would y' all post?
Drea
Why are they our family?
Lex P
We know the CEO.
Drea
We know we run into you all the time.
Lex P
All the time. We ain't gonna say your name. Cause we know you like to be low key. But y' all stop doing us like that. Post the clips correctly. Go ahead, Drea. I had to give them them eyes.
Drea
Which one?
Lex P
Yeah, give it to him.
Drea
I don't think that was scary.
Lex P
I think it was a little bit. I was afraid was you? My pussy lips was. Was
Drea
so black. Got a new song. Well, he has a new album, but I. But I really like this song. All that matters is Black Leon Thomas. And I don't know if I'm saying the name right. A. Oh, a ch is it? That's how you say it?
Lex P
The one from la. As Ch. Ass cheeks.
Drea
How you spell it? As cheeks. S, Cheeky.
Lex P
A Z, C, H, I, K, E. He's a rapper. He was on that Kendra Lamar song.
Drea
Yeah, but I.
Lex P
Boom bop boom bop bam. That's the song he was on.
Drea
I'm on. You can even understand.
Lex P
Yeah, he was on that song and he could really rap his ass off. LA Finna eat us up.
Drea
He from la?
Lex P
Yes. And he can really rap.
Drea
Damn. I thought he was an Afro beats artist.
Lex P
At least I knew where you was from. So can you pull up to the LA show and so I can apologize to you in person?
Drea
Oh, okay. A, A, Y, Z, Z, E, E. And then chike. It says the second part rhymes with a Z. Chike. Yeah, it rhymes with Az chike.
Lex P
I knew that.
Drea
I thought it was chi K. You know like a lot of.
Lex P
He's not Afrobeats, baby.
Drea
I thought he was. Okay, but that's a compliment. Cause the Afro beats, they be fire
Lex P
and they be fine.
Drea
And they be fine.
Lex P
He's cute. Az cheek Cheek. I don't know. He's very attractive.
Drea
I'm gonna listen to it real quick. But anyways, that's a great song. I love that song. Like shout out to black. Shout out to Leon Thomas. Shout out to S.
Lex P
No, we love you for real. We're just joking.
Drea
Spiritual Worry about the clip that shit and be like poor mine's ladies were making fun of Azgk. Calling him ass cheek.
Lex P
We are joking. Cause he can really fucking rap. Seriously. Stop it, bruh.
Drea
Okay.
Lex P
Az Shike. Az Chike.
Drea
Az Chike.
Lex P
No. Yeah, he was on Kendra Lamar album and he's actually. He's actually really dope, so.
Drea
Okay. Shout out to you boo.
Lex P
Shout out to you king. Now we got that together.
Drea
Pour your heart out. Now it's time to get into our favorite segment of the show. You know, if you have any questions, you can always send them to ask Poor Minds gmail.com. send us your questions, send us your testimonials. We ain't got a. I want a testimonial. I feel like we haven't got one in a minute.
Lex P
That's cuz we've been giving good great advice.
Drea
That's you, right? That is probably why nobody has told us nothing bad lately. We've grown. What do you call that? Grow Both. Hey, Lex. Andrea. I need y' all advice. So my sister introduced me to this guy about four months ago and we both agreed we didn't want anything serious. So it turned into friends. With benefits. I have a trip coming up in a few days and I asked him to pay for my nails. He told me it was bad timing financially and he didn't think he'd have the money by then. Now part of me feels like he's a cop and it's all and it's just nail money so he should have it. But the other part of me wants to give him grace because he has two kids, one being only six to seven months old. Well, that's your first problem right there. But anyways, and he just bought a new car, so should I cut him off immediately? Even though I've been. I'd be devastated because this is literally the best sex I've ever had. Or should I give him more time to make it up to me? And if so, how long should I wait? P S I love the podcast and can't wait to come to a live show. Well, first of all, a with a 6, 7 month old you don't need to be with that. That's first and foremost. And I say this as somebody who started dating somebody when they had like a one year old.
Lex P
I don't wait, he was one.
Drea
Yes.
Lex P
Or she was one.
Drea
Or that was a nice age. But yes. Yeah, like it gets sticky. It gets sticky when a baby is fresh and new. Because even if a man has moved on a lot of the time, it's still feelings there, at least from one side of it. A lot of the time the mother, but sometimes it be both. You just never know. But. But yeah, I just don't think it's a good idea to date somebody with a fresh baby like that. Baby need to be potty trained. They need to be pissing and wiping they selves.
Bodies. We weren't taught enough about proper fueling, recovery or even how women's bodies develop over time. Real recovery takes a connected care team, and UnitedHealthcare is working to make that kind of support more accessible so every athlete keeps moving forward. start dating the men.
Lex P
I mean, in my opinion. I agree. My rule has been for a while that, like, I no longer date men who have a child under 5 years old. That's just me personally, because I have no kids. If you have more than one kid, I'm not dating you. But if you have a child under five, I'm also not dating.
Drea
Right?
Lex P
And I've given myself that grace because I'm older now. As far as the nail money goes, I feel like if you're having sex with someone and you talking about this dick is so fire, that's cool. But the bare minimum, like getting your nails done, that's a little one too, you know, so.
Drea
And it is a little more expensive than it used to be.
Lex P
It is more. A little expensive now. But I feel like men do what they want to do with their money. You know what I'm saying? Like, I have always paid attention to what a man does with his money, especially when it comes to me. Not because it's like, oh, he's broke, he's xyz. If a man don't even spend a little money on you, it lets you know exactly how he does. Cause when a man cares about something, that's where his money goes. Okay? Like, for sure. That is something that I.
Drea
Shut up, sis.
Lex P
I'm telling you, that is something that I've learned. And this is coming from somebody who I have fucked with a broke nigga, and I fucked with the richest nigga. And one thing that they all have in common, even if a man ain't got much, when he fucked with me, he was gonna gather up that change bitch, right? And make it happen for me. You know what I'm saying? So I think that you have been dictated, unfortunately, and it happens be to. But I think this is a situation you need to move on from. He has a small, tiny tot. He needs to go help. What did Janiece say? Go help that bitch with them kids. I agree. That child is under one. He has more responsibilities than getting your nails done, baby. Let's move on 100%.
Drea
So, yes, that's our advice, sister. Get the fuck on. Let bygones be bygones. And he can go and get the Hell on him and his baby mama.
Lex P
Sorry, Ms. Jackson. Woo. Hey, ladies. So this man I used to deal with recently has been DM me. Every time I post, he say he misses me. But honestly, I've just been bored with the situation because men really be pissing me off. So I've been chilling. But in one of his DMs, he said, what you want? We can get whatever you want. Now I need advice because I'm trying to develop some game as a woman. Should I tell him to take me shopping so I can get what I want it, or should I just send him a picture or a link of what I want directly? Which route do y' all think gets the best results?
Drea
I would say just tell him to take you shopping.
Lex P
Yeah, I agree.
Drea
I think, like, call that out. Pull his car, see what he on. If he's not gonna do it.
Lex P
Pull up. Yeah, pull up.
Drea
Take me shopping.
Lex P
I ain't gonna lie. Pull up on me. Sometimes you gotta call a nigga out. But also, be careful, though. Cause a n called me out on my bluff. I said, yeah, pull up. Take me shopping. N pulled up and bought me a Chanel bag.
Drea
Okay?
Lex P
And he thought I was gonna pay that tab. Was not paying that tab.
Drea
Right? But that's his fault.
Lex P
But that's what I'm saying. So sometimes a nigga will be like, yeah, I got it. So I would say, tell him to take you shopping. Because I went on that shopping trip just expecting to get, like, you know, a little shoe, maybe a little wallet or something. So sometimes it'll work in your favor. Cause you never know what the mall might have. Cause you might send them a picture of something small. If you go to the mall, it's gonna have something bigger that you could get.
Drea
Yeah, I agree.
Lex P
You might want a little Gucci purse. And you can leave with a Kelly girl.
Drea
Anyways. I mean, you know, chill. I do got that Kelly.
Lex P
Now that Kelly. Shout out to the Kelly bag, y'.
Drea
All.
Lex P
Give it up for Dre and the Kelly.
Drea
Goodbye, B. Okay. You are so jealous.
Lex P
I can't wait to wear that bag. Cheers.
Drea
Why do you think you have to
Lex P
wear my birthday I'm wearing to borrow it? I might pop out with it before you do.
Drea
I'll just buy you one.
Lex P
Ooh.
Drea
For your birthday next year.
Lex P
Oh, you gotta send me the link to your birthday gift. I still ain't got you your birthday gift.
Drea
I don't know what I want to see in June.
Lex P
No, you already told me what it was. What did I say? You said that Hermes. It was something with Hermes. And it was something else with Louis Vuzon. But they were both under $4,000 together.
Drea
You just told him how much money you got.
Lex P
No, I don't have that.
Drea
I was putting on Klarna. You said it was under $4,000 together. That's a small amount.
Lex P
It wasn't. I have to put it on Klarna.
Drea
I had to put Hermes on Klarna.
Lex P
On the real real. You can't. She didn't realize she about to get a hand me down. Is it in excellent condition? Yes, period. Let's go.
Drea
Because I definitely would have sent the
Lex P
link to old boy, but he got it off the real real, too. Damn. That's how I bought her purse last time.
Drea
No, you didn't, bitch. You took me to the Louis Vuitton store and you swiped that card.
Lex P
That was a scam. In there, spitting that shit. I was a boosting bitch.
Drea
Y', all, please do not never believe Lex. Lex be trying to act like she don't got no money on these shows, but I know y' all be seeing all of her home renovations, and I.
Lex P
You.
Drea
I'm not even gonna say how much money I think you've spent on your house in home renovations. But, yeah, let's have a Churchill.
Lex P
All right, pipe down. Pipe down. Cheers, y'.
Drea
All.
Lex P
Make sure y' all go to poorminds.com. we are on tour right now. Coming to a city near you. Make sure y' all check out Love, LexP. Every month. Monday, 10am like, comment, subscribe. All that good stuff.
Drea
Yes. Make sure y' all shop muse beauty collection.com. get your lip glosses, your matte liquid lipsticks, your lip liners, your concealers. This is a real talent.
Lex P
That's why I got that video of you at the club.
Drea
When you did that, I didn't feel it, though.
Lex P
You spilled the drink everywhere.
Drea
But this time I didn't. So why are you talking about. Oh.
Lex P
See y' all next week.
Drea
Bye, y'.
Lex P
All. Oh, yeah. Shout out to JoJo. She sang this when she was only three years old. I've been waiting all day for you, babe so won't you come sit and talk to me and tell me how we're gonna be together? Always hoping all the winners Late at night I hold on to my pain Feel outside and think of how you promised me forever I never thought that anyone could make me feel this way now that you're here, boy all I
Drea
want is just a chance to say hey.
Lex P
Get out right now it's the end of you and me, it's too late And I can't wait for you to be be gone. And I know about her And I wonder how about all the lies? That you would treat me right but you was just a waste, waste of time. Tell me why you're looking so confused? When I'm the one who didn't know the truth? How could you ever be so cold? So go by how my bag and call my friend? Boy, you must have fallen bound your head because you left a number on your phone. So now that you're here all and done Maybe I'm the one to blame her. Now that you the only one didn't work out that way get out right now. It's the end of you and me. It's too late and I can't wait for you to be gone. Cause I know about her and I wonder how I ran on the line said that you could treat me right? But she was just a waste of time. But hey I wanted you right here with me. But I have no choice, you gotta leave because my heart is breaking with
Drea
every word I'm saying.
Lex P
I gave up everything I had on something that just wouldn't last.
Drea
But I refuse to cry.
Lex P
No tears will fall from these. You ready? Get up, leave I. That's the remix.
Drea
Get out.
Lex P
And that's on period. See y' all on tour.
