Like, we didn't at first. I didn't want to.

I just felt like we tell people enough. We on social media enough. Brat love Judy was on we TV enough. We gave enough of ourselves. But my wife here felt like we. We really didn't give enough. And there was an opportunity, and she was like, we jumping on that opportunity. Yeah.

I felt like there was money left on the table. I feel like, you know, not only that, but our community might Be book readers. And why don't we just go a little bit deeper, you know? I know you think you gave enough, but did you really?

[Hans Charles]

So do y' all feel like that's a conflict sometimes? Like, she be like, let's get to this bag. You'd be like, I just wanna hold.

[BB Judy]

Yes. And it's not that she don't wanna get to the bag. She, like, right now, our son is morning, noon, and night, everything. And that's great. So I think we are absolutely different when it comes to that. Even when we were doing the TV show, like, I like to. Let's go back to back to back to back to back. She wants to go. Let's take a break. How has motherhood, like, changed Yalls relationship, though? Because, like you said, it's like your son is like, morning, noon, and night. How has it changed Yalls relationship?

[The BRAT]

Oh, my gosh. She'd still be on her phone 24 7. But she does make time for us. Being a mother is my absolute favorite thing in the whole world. I wouldn't trade it for nothing. Like, and it may it makes us closer because she's a mother of three already, and she kind of has been through the situations already, but she kind of let me take the lead when it come to our little boy.

[Hans Charles]

[BB Judy]

Yeah. And I am still on my phone now. Now, that's. So this is the thing, though. Yeah, that's right. 2026, you know, the consumer is different.

[The BRAT]

Yeah.

And the workers are different. So now I'm working harder really than I was. Really. People don't want, People don't like to work like that.

The quality of work is different. And I don't, I don't even think it's because the people want it to be like that.

I think people's motivation has changed because now the minimum wage is different. Like your rent is higher, your gas is higher. So no matter if you have them same 40 hours, the same paycheck, it don't buy the same things it used to be. So people aren't motivated to give the same amount of work ethic that they've been doing.

Yeah, that's what I was going to ask you too. Do you feel like it has a lot to do with like the state of the economy right now and the fact that people just don't really have the money to buy things so you have to like be even more creative with your marketing. I mean you already. Super.

[BB Judy]

Yeah, so they say. I think it's like a proven fact. You used to have to talk to consumers seven times. Like a couple years ago. Now it's 11.

And so prior to that it was probably five. So now you have to meet your consumer where they are. Like when they first started talking about doing Tick tock live. I'm not doing no qvc. I don't want to do that. Bye bye bye bye bye. Now look at my dumbass.

Buy, buy, buy shop five dollar five. You sure do.

Hey now, Todd know what she doing now? She does.

But it's so many people, so many entrepreneurs that I've been seeing online saying that, that they feel like now the only way that they're making sales is by getting on live and pushing their products all the time. Whereas a few years ago they didn't have to do this.

[BB Judy]

They got it in a chokehold.

Yeah.

They are the suge knight of Ecom right now.

[Hans Charles]

Oh my goodness.

Because if you don't participate in it, you still lose sales because that's what people are shopping. And then when you do participate in it, they get a percentage of each sale. And then now they have this new rule and not let me. I have a great relationship with Tik Tok and I would never change that to nothing.

But now they have this thing where you have to ship out in two days. So now you need to fulfill through them. Because if you can't ship out in two days, so. But then they get fulfillment fees as well, so I'm telling you.

And I was just gonna ask, do you like using Amazon? Do you use Amazon too?

I've never been on the Amazon platform.

I do shop a little bit on TikTok, but I'm still an Amazon person, so I always wonder. Cause people say the same thing with Amazon too. They kind of strict and they be dipping in the money too. So I was just always curious what made people choose.

It's lucrative though. Yeah, like TikTok, I think we did one of our big lives. We did like 250 in like four hours.

Cause they making money off of it.

Yeah, that's what I was gonna say. They just got craftsy. Now you have to have your products on TikTok Shop in order to even mention it on your TikTok Live. If it's not. If you don't have it on TikTok shop, they'll shut down your lives.

Yeah, because you driving traffic away from their platform. They muted my live before and I was like, I was in my warehouse packing up stuff like, but it wasn't in the thing. And people was asking me question about the product. And I had it in there, but I didn't have it set up in my shop. And I was like, God damn it. Because I just didn't feel like adding it every time.

And like, literally this happened within the last year. Because last year it was fine.

See, I can't sell nothing but jokes, bitch. I don't got the time to deal with jokes.

I just feel like for anybody that has any questions about what was mentioned, they should do the right thing and buy the book. And if somebody's mentioning my name and asking, you know, well, if it's about your life, why did you include me? Or why didn't you include me? It's still my life. I should be able to include whoever the fuck I want if it was on my journey, Right? And feel however you wanna feel.

Since she paying me to do, you know, these miracle drop ads and stuff, So I Went by there not thinking it was finna be like 5, 10,000 people in this convention center. And they all was there for her. I'm like, what the fuck? Who is this lady? So I get in there, I'm like, yo, Keanye, I'll tell her that, you know, the brat is here. Yeah, I came out of stop by to say what's up? You know, Child, them motherfuckers ask me, what am I able to Conscious? Yes.

Motherfuckers had me waiting, like, 30, 45 minutes. Felt like I was standing in the front, like, okay. Nah, I'm getting ready to go. Cause she walking through the crowd, but people stopping us. She's signing autographs, taking pictures.

You gotta work. Let's just link later, you know? And then she was like, okay. So I told her I was gonna be at the studio and come by the studio later. So then, you know, that's how it escalated from that. But then we met, and then. So she came to the studio. She pulls up to the studio, hopped out the car. She by herself, ponytail down to the ground. She got on her jewelry, she on this banging ass outfit. And I'm like, she come to the studio. I'm like, where's security for you? Where's all your people? She was like, I came by myself. I was like, oh, okay. That could have been a hundred niggas at the studio. You know, some studios be packed in every studio with a bunch of niggas. I'm like, they could have ran up on you, been trying to holler at you. Like, it could have been real unsafe for you to be out here in these streets. She had her little gun with her.

So cute. But anyway, so she get there, we talking. We are so, so deaf or whatever. We sitting in the bathroom on the little stoop. We talking about hair, we talking about all the things that we interested in. Then this motherfucker go, when I'm interested.

She ghosted me. First of all, let's talk about the fact that I came to Atlanta.

Moved to Atlanta to see her after she told me to come to Atlanta. And she didn't answer her phone.

So you were still living in.

I was still living in New Orleans. Yeah. I was still living in New Orleans. Now, granted, let's just say it was five times she invited me. Two or three of them. Five times she didn't answer. But eventually you feel like this person isn't interested or they got some other going on. Cuz why you can't answer your phone.

Right. And I've done it, right? And I know how she is, and I know the type of things that she cherished. And I told her I would have did it. I didn't. I didn't mind caring for her. I actually told her that early in our relationship.

She had three already, so she.

As far as the nurturing thing, I knew. I know the time that she likes to cherish. And I wasn't trying to convince her technically. I just wanted to let her know that it would be an experience that she would cherish. And then I even try to record some of our personal moments and give it to the public. Like, the first time the baby moved, you know, it brought her to tears. And the whole entire thing, like, she. This is one of her life's biggest accomplishments. Whether she said or not, this is what she feels like. Like, out of all the things I could have ever done, this is the thing that has brought her so much joy. Yeah, I don't. I can't speak for her, but I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have had it no other way.

Now, it was really heartwarming seeing you pregnant because you were really enjoying it. And you was really shocked all the time with any little thing.

I was. I thought I had to drink milk for my titties to get milk. Oh, Lord. I kept telling my wife, I'm not drinking enough milk. My titties ain't getting big. I ain't got no milk in my titties. She was like, oh, my God, I'm finna record your ass. Okay, say it again.

So I do wanna talk about, like, the IVF journey that y' all went through and things like that. Because there's so many decisions that you have to make going into that. Like, you know, the sperm donor who eggs y' all wanna use and things like that. And I know y' all made headlines. Cause everybody was talking about the sperm donor that y' all chose and why y' all made that decision. And everybody was in a hoopla about it. I was like, I don't think it's a big deal if this is their decision when they winded things down. So talk about the process of choosing the sperm donor and how y' all went with the one that you chose.

[BB Judy]

Well, it was my eggs. And they do something called genetic testing. And when they did my genetic testing, there were, like, seven different things that I carry genes for. And so when you do that, when you choose in your sperm donor, you have to go in. Is it seven or nine? Whatever. It's a lot. It made you feel like, what the. Am I living?

[Lex P]

Yeah, right?

[BB Judy]

So then you go. You go to the different banks. You have to enter into seven to make sure the person is not positive of Those things as well. Then your child. Right. Because if they have it, then your child is gonna have the thing.

[The BRAT]

Something. Gotcha.

So when that happened, I think a lot of people don't even realize how small the pool is for black men at all. When that happened, our black man choice went down to zero.

So we had choice of white, Asian, and like, our baby, he's technically Bulgarian. It's like. It's not even. I guess it's technically a white. Yeah, but it's not even a white white. You know what I'm saying?

We picked his donor based off of. Once we saw that we couldn't have somebody that was our race. We tried to see height. We try to see build. And then they also even went into, like, the person left something and what they do. Like, they had. One of her choices was Asian, and he was a musician, I think. And mine was a thriving entrepreneur that did something. And so we just figured the best.

Way and did the history search all that stuff and to see what they've done in life and how they progressed. And, yeah, I think we made an awesome choice. And I'm very proud of the choice we made. Whether people understand it or not, I don't give a fuck. We have a beautiful.

That, but nobody wanted to hear it. Cause my motherfucking wife ass wanted to say. And I didn't think about it on our show when we were looking like, you know how when you film, you have to, like, stage some scenes and not saying it was fake, but we had to look through a whole bunch of choices, and we would look through a whole bunch of choices that had nothing to do with genetic testing. And her aunt called one of the candidates Jiminy Cricket.

And they made it seem like she felt about everybody. And so then we go on Tamron trying to talk about it this, that, and the other. The thing that bothered me the most was she was pregnant at the time when it was going on, and people were wishing death on our child and wishing that the pregnancy was ended and would terminate. And, you know, I can't believe y' all and this other. And I was like, now, bitch, I don't go in these comments and cuss at nobody. I am the mild one out of these. Yeah, but y' all got me fucked up right now, right? Who the fuck would even say that?

I really love this show, and I just wanted to. I wanted to ask you guys what you guys think about relationships at 18 and being apart at college. I'm not worried about any cheating, but sometimes I want to talk every day, but it just seems like he has so much going on to where he doesn't always take initiative to communicate as much as I feel like he should, because to me, it doesn't take long to send a small text. Granted, I do text first sometimes, but the other times, I don't on purpose to see if he's gonna say anything. I do give grace, and I don't want to put a lot of pressure on him, so I'll fall back at times, but I don't know what to do. Overall, he is a sweet person and does express his love for me, but I'm not entirely sure if that's enough. Also, we've been with each other for 10 months now, and he's never given me flowers, and I don't like that. Is this a get time thing because we're young or something else?

I feel like college relationships, especially when y' all don't go to the same school, it's a little difficult. I cheated on my college. We was dating.

I went to college, and he was still in Houston, and I definitely cheated on him, and then we broke up shortly after because, I mean, it's just difficult when you're not in the same city anymore and you in school day, night. So y' all are just living a lot of completely different lives.

And then they so young, man. That's what I was. But I know at that age, we didn't want to hear that. Yeah, we didn't, you know, but it's. And, yeah, girl, he doing his thing.

[Hans Charles]

Yeah. And I think you should do your thing. Yeah, right. I feel like most of the years where you really discover what you like as a woman, what you want to do with your career, like, there's so many things that you need to be focused on outside of a relationship. Because I feel like when I was in college, I feel like society told us, okay, college is where you find your husband and you settle down. By the time you graduate, y' all supposed to get married and have kids, and it's just like, no, right. I don't want to focus on how to be a wife. I want to learn things and, you know, be a boss and figure out what I want to do with my life. And later on, you're not going to even be attracted to the same type of person that you are at 1828.

And we need to have a real come to Jesus and on these podcasts, stop bashing each other, but just come to a consensus that we both need grace. We both need space to heal and to deal and to really, like, shake back and love each other. Because it's just a battle of the black family. And we already got enough against us, including Trump in Venezuela. All the. Hey, miss.

But as for me, I got somewhere. No, I, I do agree with that, but I do think that's an excuse that hurt people. Hurt people. No, you go work on yourself before you out here terrorizing. So I do think that people deserve grace. But I'm not giving you grace if you going around terrorizing women just because somebody didn't want to give you their crayons in kindergarten. Go heal and go to Thomas Therapy.
