Lex P
Is it speech time? Yes.
Drea
We gonna take our shot first.
Ty

You're supposed to do the speech. Before the shot.
Drea
You are?
Lex P
Yeah. Yeah.
Ty
And then we toast to that.
Lex P
Your speech. That ain't gonna be long.
Craig
I'm gonna make it short.
Drea
Okay. All right.
Lex P
Make it shorter than you go on here.
Drea
All right.
Lex P
Well, honestly, all jokes aside, this is another year of greatness. You know, you are turning 30.
Craig
What?
Lex P
Six? 35.
Drea
Six.
Lex P
My bad. That's me. That's me. You right. You right. I said, well, I'm about to be 37, but I'm 36 right now.
Drea
You right.
Craig
Let me start over.
Lex P
It's another year of being great, and I feel like every year, you just become more of a woman that I'm just happy to say. I'm so glad to call you friend. Thank you, sister, business partner. Watching you grow on the show with Muse Beauty. Just you personally as well, and watching you take care of yourself, watching you grow, it's just been such an amazing journey, and it's so much fun. I feel like we are in a chapter of fun. Like, life is so good right now, and I'm so blessed that God brought us together and that we've been able to do this journey together. I don't want to get emotional, but, I mean, we're about to go on tour again. We are, and it's so exciting because this tour is going to be so good. And we have built something just so beautiful and special. The fact that I know we get dragged a lot, and people say things about you and say things about me, and they try to pin us against each other, but you don't. Nobody can understand this but me and you. Like, nobody understands the bond that we have and the love that we have for each other. So I think the fact that the community that we've built just off of our love alone just says so much. And, of course, poor moms would be nothing without you. And I'm just so happy to call you my sister and my best friend. And cheers to 35 is a good year.
Drea
It is.
Lex P
It's so exciting.
Craig
Yes.
Drea
I'm telling you, I agree to you. I'm telling you, y' all are like my forefathers.
Craig
Ooh.
Drea
Hey.
Craig
You know, so I'm like, was it
Drea
really a good year for y'?
Craig
All? Yes, it was. You know. You know.
Lex P
So happy birthday, Draya.
Drea
Happy birthday.
Craig
Yes. And cheers to 35. Pulling up at home, y'.
Drea
All.
Lex P
H.
Craig
Hot digging dog.
Lex P
That was strong.
Drea
But, like, how do you feel?
Lex P
How do you feel? How do you feel?
Drea
That was a great speech.
Craig
Yes.
Drea
Thank you very much. That was very, very heartfelt. And we have came such a long way. Like, we have accomplished so much. This past year has just been insane. And what I was about to say is it's so crazy to think about the fact that it's been a whole year since Ty did her birthday speech last year. I'm like, where do the time be going? It's been a whole 365 days. That's crazy. It doesn't seem like it. Like, my God. I always keep seeing these posts, like, online that say that time has started moving differently after the pandemic. Like, it's like we're in this time warp. And sometimes I don't know if that's necessarily true or is it just like, life is really that short? You know? Like, I'm like, is time moving quicker than it was before, or is it because that happened? It's like, making us have, like, a different type of appreciation or reverence for time? So it seems like it's moving quicker because all of that time was lost, that we were just kind of inside, not able to move around. Like, essentially, it's kind of like a year and a half, two years of our lives kind of like, taken away from us. So I'm like, does it really feel that way, or is this how fast time has always moved? I don't know. But, like, either way, I'm just grateful. I'm grateful. It's been an amazing year. And I'm just so excited to just see all of the things that keep happening for us with poor minds that just, you know, keep happening for me. And just constantly growing and evolving as a woman and as a person is just always something that's been really important to me. Like, I really pride myself on that. I never want to be a person who is the same person or in the same place that I was the year before. So progression is always the goal. So for you and always, like, people around me to tell me that they see the constant growth in me and stuff is such a compliment. Because I think that's important in life. Like, you want to always be growing and evolving. So.
Lex P
Yeah. What are your goals for this year for 35? Hmm.
Drea
To be honest, I don't really. I feel like every year of my life, I set so many goals for myself. So this year I just really wanna focus on being present. And I told my therapist that too. Cause I have a new therapist. And, like, me and her have just been talking and, like, one of the main themes of our conversations is always her telling me I need to give myself more grade. And I don't want to get emotional, but it's like, oh, my God. I feel like I have always struggled with that. Like, I'm so hard on myself. It's not that I think I'm a. I don't think I'm a perfectionist necessarily, but I think I just always want to be really good at everything that I do or everything that I apply myself to. And so when you're constantly trying to level up and you're constantly trying to work on your goals and get better than you were the year before or the age that you were before, I think sometimes you don't slow down to appreciate how far you've come and just appreciate where you are, because you always trying to move forward and get to the next thing. And so I feel like I just don't. And then I'm always just being hard on myself when I mess up. Like, and I want to be, again, easy on myself when I say mess up, because. Mess up to who? To myself?
Lex P
I was about to ask that, when was the last time, like, you messed up?
Drea
But that's what I'm saying to me, you know what I mean? And I think a lot of the time we could be our toughest critic. So when I do something and I feel like it wasn't my best, I don't think I give myself enough grace. Or if I react to something in a way that I feel like, oh, you bigger than that, or you've grown so much, you should have reacted different. Like, and maybe I should have. But at the end of the day, we're all humans, and it's okay that you not perfect all the time. It's okay that you don't handle things the way that you should all the time. And I just think I always have had, like, an issue with giving myself grace. Like, I always am really hard on myself. So this year, I just really want to be present and focus on really being happy because I have some. So many things to be happy about, so many things to have gratitude for. And I just want to, like, live in the moment because I don't want life to pass me by. Like, I don't want these next five years of my life to pass me by. And then I'm 40, and I'm looking back at all of the great times from when I was 35 that I didn't live in because I was so focused on the next chapter.
Lex P
Next.
Drea
Yeah, right.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
So that's the major goal.
Lex P
Yeah. I think that that's something that we all need to do as humans. It sounds so cliche. Cause it's like a meme that pops up all the time. And it's like, you're living right now what you used to be praying for.
Drea
Yes.
Lex P
And it's so crazy because I'm always doing this and we're always doing that. We're always like, we gotta do this, we gotta do that. And it's like. But, girl, like, do you realize, like, what you have done, right? You have a successful cosmetic business. You're running a very successful talk show. You know, like, you have employees. You got two businesses. You got two sets of employees, bitch. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like, there was a time where you
Craig
were just at the bar trying to
Lex P
make a Henny and Coke.
Drea
We was just sitting on the floor drinking barefoot.
Lex P
You know what I'm saying? Like, you.
Drea
Right.
Craig
We used to pray for times like this.
Lex P
And it sound.
Craig
I mean, word to Meek Mill, he was on to something.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
And I mean, all jokes aside, and I think that's what we have to do. We have to realize, like, yes, still work towards your next goals, but sometimes let's just relax and smell the roses.
Drea
Yeah, I agree. I agree. And I just. Again, I think that that's something that has just always been really difficult for me to do. Like, I'm always pushing myself, pushing myself, pushing myself. And sometimes you just got to give. Give yourself a break, Give yourself a little grace and have appreciation for how far you come. Like, it's nothing wrong with wanting to excel. Nothing wrong with wanting to push the envelope and break. Because I. I don't know, it's almost kind of like when it comes to poor minds. And I don't know if I ever said this publicly before, but especially now with us being in the position that we in, I feel a sense, like, a. A lot of duty, if that makes sense. Because, yeah, like, I feel like a sense of duty. And it's something that I didn't feel four years ago or five years ago, just because I do feel like you and I are in a very privileged position. And it's so many eyes on us, and we're breaking so many barriers. And in doing that, you're creating opportunities for other people and for generations behind us. So it's like, that's really important to me, you know, to keep being on that path and keep knocking down doors and showing people with, like, two young black women from Texas that just came to Atlanta with a dollar, and it was $3. $3 a dream.
Lex P
Come on, get my stuff.
Drea
$3 in a dream can really do, you know what I mean? With, like, no blueprint, no plan, no nothing. Like, we really came out here just winging it and we chased our dreams and we really making shit happen. And now it's like a full blown business. Like, this is a real business.
Lex P
It's strict.
Craig
It is.
Drea
I mean, and I don't know that that's something that I had ever felt before, but we are, in doing what we're doing, creating so many different opportunities, not just for ourselves, but for other people. And it's a lot of pressure that come with that. And I think maybe that's another thing that be making me feel like I need to give myself a little bit more grace. But it's only something that I started to feel over the past few years as the show has, like, continued to grow, because I just think it's so important for us to be two black women in this space that are remembered for shaking the table and making shit happen and, like, being the first.
Lex P
But I think that's a good feeling to have. But I also think life is about balance, right? Because I think as much as we are here to break down doors and break down barriers, I'm still here to have a good time. Life is short. I'm done. I lived my entire life being stressed and worried about this. Like, from when I moved to Houston, I. Until poor minds became successful, I was always just working, hustling, hustling. I don't want to do that no more. So I think life is about balance. Like, yeah, I'm going to hustle, and I'm going to work my ass off when it comes to my job, but I'm also going to enjoy the fruits of my labor because I'm this age right now. I'm young and I'm happy and I'm healthy right now. This is when we're supposed to be doing it. This is when you enjoy everything. And I think I want the young people to know that. Work your ass off in your 20s, have fun, but also so when you get in your 30s, you can do things and have a balance. So I think that we can work our ass off. But when it comes to this show, I felt that for a while, too. I was like, I got to. I gotta be politically correct and I gotta say the right thing. I let that go. You know what? Y' all are showing up because y' all think me and Dre are funny. I can't stop being silly. I'm not gonna lose that. Because once you lose sight of that, then you Lose why people are here.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
So when the cameras turn on, we still gotta have fun. You know what I'm saying?
Drea
Well, don't get me wrong, for me, it's not that. Like, I don't think I've ever taken the show, like the actual being in front of the camera part super series. If anything, sometimes I be like, oh, damn, I probably shouldn't have said that.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
But so, yeah, I don't necessarily ever think that we need to be politically correct because I feel like this show was built off of fun and banter and having a good time and just two friends sitting down, kicking, talking and saying whatever. You know what I mean? That's what makes the show so organic. And I think that's what people with, is the fact that we don't try to make it look perfect and it's unfiltered and it's real and it's raw. I guess I more so mean behind the scenes.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
Like when it comes to like the business side of it and just really making happen for us, because I think that's another thing that so many people don't recognize or realize with us being on camera is that it's two parts to the business. Like when it comes to the entertainment industry. And that's anything that you do, whether it's music, whether it's being on a microphone, being a. Being a voice, being a personality, it's being a actress or actor, it's always two sides to the sheets. You got the side that's front facing, that everybody see. And then you got all of the back end that happened behind the scenes. And so I think because it's so many people before us, like me and Shay was having a conversation a few days ago and we were talking about Red Fox. Remember Red Fox?
Lex P
Yes, From San Francisco. I'm trying to figure out what.
Drea
Cause he died broke as fuck. Like he didn't have no money when he died. And then it was a artist. I'm not gonna say who it was, but we were having a conversation about him the other day and she was saying how like he just got caught up for like some tax. Like he owe a few million dollars in tax. And so I'm just like. It's so many people who are front facing who was making so much money in a privileged position and didn't handle their business right, didn't do things the right way. And then your whole legacy is just kind of like down the drain and you die with nothing.
Lex P
Damn.
Drea
And I just. I guess I just always want us to Be on our sheet.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
When it comes to off camera. Cuz on camera is cool. Like the views, the people laughing, the comments, people engaging, all that for real.
Lex P
That's the easy.
Ty
Yeah, I'm just being you.
Drea
Yeah, that's the easy part. It's all the other behind the scenes that I have realized with people that have come before us, that's harder for people to keep up with.
Lex P
It's crazy that. Because I actually talked about that on Love Lex P. I said I got to a point in my life where I got tired of trying to look like the girl who had her shit together. And I really wanted to be the girl who had her shit together.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
So now like the stuff I laugh and I joke about and stuff is just because I don't care because I have my shit together. Like, I'm not worried about little things that used to bother me, like my credit score not up, I don't got my own money, I can't register my car, all this. I literally have my shit together. You know what I'm saying? So I think that is important that you said that because a lot of times it's not a lot of financial literacy things that we talked about before and just looking like it. We have it together, but you really don't. Cause it's like a pretty package, you know, that cake looks good. Then you open it and it's shit on the inside, you know, So I get that worry that you can not even worry, I wanna say. But like just wanting everything to be straight behind closed doors because we've seen it time after, you know, how many celebrities and stars are in jail or. I mean, Steve Harvey told his story about how he was working his ass off because his financial advisor, his accountant was screwing up on his taxes and things like that. So I get it. I definitely get it. But I think that's one thing I'm glad that we have surrounded ourself with extremely smart people. And one thing about it, we've always been very like, what's going on? What's going on? And we gonna figure it out. And that's why I say I'm so blessed to have you. Cause one thing we be like, when shit be going left, we be like, well, at least we got each other. Yeah, we all, we got. Well, that's what we all. When shit goes left, we be like, we gonna figure this out and we gonna get to the bottom of it. And a lot of times I think that's why a lot of podcasts or music groups or anything that you see fall apart because they don't. That ego gets in the way. And they let that bullshit get in the way. I don't give a fuck what goes on. I need to call her so we can figure this shit out. Because I know when shit goes left. I got my girl. I'm not navigating this world alone, this business world alone. And people would rather do that and fuck over they friend and be like, oh, I got it. Good luck. I'm not ever doing that. So I think that's one thing that we do have that's a huge blessing. That's why I feel like Destiny's Child was always so great. Cause they still friends. Cause they're like, I'm not leaving my girls behind. When you see people that really push it for the long haul, it's like, that's what I want for us. I want us to ride off in the sunset. Like, look what we did.
Drea
Not ride off in the sunset.
Lex P
Yeah, that's on Brand with them horses on.
Craig
I'm saying, I'm saying I really do.
Lex P
Like when we old and gray, like I would love for us to be like 80 and do like, oh, poor M is back. And we do like a reunion show.
Craig
And Ty coming out shaking the.

do and I don't know why my algorithm maybe my algorithm is like that because it knows I just love to have a good key. I just feel like the most random be popping up and I was cracking up when I seen this meme the other day that said lord please when I get old don't let me be chewing for no reason and I was like facts oh my God so we
Ty
can do a reunion.
Drea
Poor mine. As long as I ain't over here.
Lex P
Like gumming my papa.
Drea
If I'm doing that, we not doing nothing.
Craig
Why not?
Drea
Because. No, no, cuz I'm going say I. What is that about? What is that about though?
Lex P
That means you used to suck that dick.
Ty
I thought that was like them trying to keep their teeth in.
Drea
Now they don't be having teeth.
Lex P
They don't have teeth. Maybe it feels good.
Drea
It probably. Yeah, it might be massaging.
Lex P
Massaging them gum maybe. I don't know.
Drea
Teething now. I don't think they coming back.
Lex P
Yeah, she's talking about anything anymore. Both coming to teething.
Drea
Oh, I was about to say teething. I don't think they growing back. I don't think. I think they gone for good.
Lex P
Oh, Shay. Got it. Thanks a lot.
Drea
Yeah, but honestly, it be young people who don't have teeth that be doing. I think it's a thing for the teeth.
Lex P
At least they be rolling.
Ty
Yeah, that's drugs.
Lex P
They be rolling.
Drea
That's just across the board. It don't matter how young.
Lex P
Yeah, they be on X. Yeah. Ooh, I ain't gonna. But yeah, they be rolling. That's the difference. So I feel like even if I am chewing for no reason, we need to do that.
Drea
You still wanna do a routine?
Lex P
I still wanna do it. I'm gonna walk out there with my walker and my 6 inch platform. I hope you don't have a walker. I hope you don't have on six platforms. I mean, I hope not.
Craig
But I said if we're doing it with a walker.
Drea
That's a crazy combo. A walker, a walker and six inch heel.
Lex P
Maybe I'm gonna get down with the get down. One thing about it, I'm gonna keep on a nasty six inch heel.
Drea
But I feel like if you need a walker, you probably gonna have flats on. You ain't gonna be able to walk in no heels.
Lex P
I'm gonna make it work.
Drea
You can carry them.
Lex P
You right? Like this.
Drea
Put them on your walker. It's like a little accessory, little ornament.
Craig
But yes, but I.
Drea
But yeah, I don't know. Like I said, I am just excited. I'm thankful. I'm grateful for this year. It's been great.
Lex P
How do you feel when people call us old bitches to be.
Drea
You want my honesty? Yeah. I feel like bitches should be very hopeful that they will get to our age. Because I don't. Because first of all, we not old. But realistically, a lot of people don't live to be this age. People who are in their 20s, like don't even make it to 30. So sometimes I think people need to be hopeful that they make it to their age. But then also, again, I just feel like, what the fuck is happening? What times are we living in where being 34, 35, 36 is old? I remember when I was in my 20s, I definitely looked at people in their 30s. Like, I don't know if I want to be 30. Like, I could wait. Oh, yeah. Like, I could wait.
Lex P
I was like, damn.
Drea
Yeah.
Craig
No, no, no.
Drea
Not like that, but just more so looking at them like, damn. Like, that is, like, a long way from now. And I can wait to get there. But it wasn't, like, on no disrespectful. Yeah. Like, I feel like people be trying to call us old on some disrespectful. Like, our generation, like, y' all is old. Are we. We still fairly young. And like, majority of the girls that I noticed in their 30s, they look amazing. They look better than they did in their 20s. Everybody is accomplished. Everybody is doing. What the fuck is going on over there? Shay, why did you take that hat off?
Craig
What the fuck? What the fuck? I'm sorry.
Drea
That just threw me all the way off. Cause from over here, it looked like she had an Afro.
Lex P
Like, I thought, look, it is.
Drea
But anyways, yeah, I feel like they be trying to be disrespectful about it, and I just. How can you shade a bitch who is fine, still can pull your nigga or your granddaddy or your daddy? Like, I'm a variety of things. Yes. I feel like we at that age where we could pull niggas of all ages. Oh, actually, yeah, Seriously. So it's like, I look good. I got money. I could pull your nigga, your daddy, your granddaddy.
Lex P
I feel like that's the only. Because I feel like that's the only thing they can say even when the men be doing that. Cause they be like, oh, they sitting on the couch being old. But I'm like, we are running an extremely successful business. I get to do what I love for a living. Like, I literally love my life. So if the worst thing you can say about me is that I'm old or that I'm gonna be single for the rest of my life or whatever that you think that you are projecting onto me, I'm like, that's it. I'm doing pretty damn good.
Ty
And my thing is, like, y' all know it's a blessing to get older, right?
Craig
Yeah.
Ty
Like, the opposite of getting older is what death being outta here. So it's kinda like this is what we gotta live for, look forward to. I remember being a kid and looking at my parents in their 30s like
Lex P
that shit look lit.
Ty
They was going on a Tom Joyner cruises.
Lex P
They was in the Bermuda, Bahamas.
Drea
I'm like, I can't wait to get there.
Ty
I hate being a kid now.
Drea
I wanna go back.
Ty
But yeah, like it looks just so fun and I feel like we're redefining what getting older looks like and success looks like.
Lex P
So yeah, enjoy it. And I mean.
Drea
No. Yeah, you right.
Lex P
I just feel like even being in my house, like I got a grown up house. I know y' all tired, but I really, I was like laying on the couch Sunday. I didn't do nothing the entire day. I laid on the couch and I was just scrolling on TikTok. I said, I'm looking around at this beautiful ass house I bought. I'm like, this is the life. Nobody bothered me. I had my phone on dnd. I was just like I had, I was eating my meal preps, y'.
Craig
All.
Lex P
I'm still eating healthy so I had my little meal prep. I'm just having a ball in my house. Yeah.
Drea
I just be feeling like it's not really. No, it's not shade the way people think it is.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
Because again like Ty said, it's a blessing. Like getting older is. Is a privilege that a lot of people don't get to experience. And I only think getting older is something that people, I only think people worry about getting older when they life not progressing. Like if your life is staying stagnant, then of course you don't want to get older because your youth was all you had. No, serious.
Lex P
That's the truth though.
Drea
Yeah. Because, because some people, that's all they have is being youthful. Like in society. Society brainwashes you into believing. Oh, when you're in your 20s, that's when you look your best, that's when you feel your best. And especially like with women when it comes to like finding a suitable partner, this is your prime years. If you don't find somebody in your 20s when you get to your 30s, you gonna be washed up. That's some fucking bullshit. Yeah, that's bullshit. It's plenty of women who are finding husbands in their 30s, finding husbands in their 40s, finding husbands in their 50s, living full lives, not fully getting into their careers until they 45, like that's some bullshit. Then I look up to, I look to women who are older than us, like Nia Long, Sonia Lathan, like we've talked about these women on the show before. Tracee Ellis Ross. These women are in their 50s and they look good as fuck. You cannot scare me into aging. If that's going to be 20 years from now for me, like, what should I be afraid of?
Lex P
My aunt just got married. She's in her 60s, and she is having a ball. Her and her man be on a trip every month. Shout out to my Auntie Lane. Yeah, they be having a ball. Like, so I'm like, life is not over just because you're aging. And my aunt look good.
Craig
If y' all ever seen aunt, Auntie
Lex P
Lane, she be having a ball. So I'm like, okay.
Drea
She do, like, majority of the time too. You get to your 50s, your kids grown, they in college, you a empty nester again. You back outside living your life.
Lex P
I love it.
Drea
And we black. So long as you take care of yourself, that melanin is not going to crack. We going to look good forever. So I don't know. But yes, it is tourist season and I, you know, I'm happy. I'm happy to be here. I'm happy to see another tourist season. And, you know, bring on the gifts. I am a person who I love to make the whole month about my birthday. It's my birthday actually, for like a few months.
Lex P
What you call it? Dr. April.
Drea
Dr. April. Draperal.
Lex P
That's what she called it. Dr. April.
Drea
Absolutely. And, like, I've already started getting gifts. I need some more.
Lex P
Mm.
Drea
Bring them on.
Lex P
I love that. Okay, so speaking of tourist season, we gonna play a game called Guess the Taurus.
Craig
Okay.
Lex P
Okay. So I'm gonna read a set of traits and behaviors, and you have to try to guess which Taurus celebrity it is. So I'm gonna read two to three clues, but I feel like I'm gonna give you a clue on the celebrity too. Right? Okay. You know what I'm saying? I'm gonna read the traits and behaviors, and you have to guess which Taurus celebrity it is. But I feel like I'm gonna kind of give you a hint because you can't, like, I don't know. These are kind of hard. Okay.
Drea
Okay.
Lex P
So round one, this Taurus celebrity, it's a woman. She's very private. She is a perfectionist, and she moves in silence. But everything is intentional. I'll give you a hint. She is extremely famous. And she's been famous since she was a teeny, tiny tot. And she's an excellent dancer. I'll give you another hint. You know how I call you Lil Abby, you little. Abby Junior. She's Abby Senior.
Ty
Ooh, I know.
Lex P
Mm.
Drea
I think I know. Janet. Ms. Jackson, if you nasty.
Craig
Ah, come on now, Big Janet.
Drea
Because first of all, it's not really like that many tourist women that are, like, singers and stuff that I think of. So, yeah, I would have to say that's why.
Lex P
Was that who you were thinking?
Ty
It was either Janet Jackson or Teyana Taylor. And it was who I said first. When you said abs, I thought Tiana Taylor.
Craig
Tiana is.
Commercial Voice
Of course.
Drea
But no.
Lex P
Oh, she's not.
Drea
It's just abs.
Lex P
See, that's why I say I don't know. I don't know who is who, but. Okay. Okay. Go ahead. Let's see if I can guess.
Drea
Okay. Emotional, but controlled. Takes breaks and disappears. Voice alone carries everything. She is.
Craig
She's
Drea
from another country. She has had. She's a Grammy Award winner, I believe. I think she is.
Ty
Can I ask?
Drea
I might have just lied about it, but I do think she's won a Grammy.
Ty
What ethnicity?
Drea
She's one of our lighter friends.
Ty
Okay.
Lex P
I think I. Adele.
Drea
Yes. Okay.
Lex P
I did. I really. That was a gift.
Drea
I was gonna say Shakira. Thank you.
Lex P
I thought it was either.
Drea
Hey, I'm on tonight.
Craig
You know, my hips don't lay.
Lex P
But I like Adele, too. Okay, go ahead.
Drea
Yeah.
Craig
Shout out to.
Lex P
I didn't know Adele was a tourist.
Drea
She is.
Lex P
Love her down. Okay. Okay. Round three. Jamaican girl. Uh.
Ty
Oh.
Lex P
Extreme. Extremely talented. Singer, dancer. Excels in both. Stubborn. Has had controversial moments. I don't know how else to explain, but they love to compare this person to Beyonce, and it's always an argument. Beyonce, they love to compare. Now, this is a male, though, and they look always.
Drea
Some men.
Lex P
Yeah. And they compare this person to Beyonce, and it's always, oh, I know who
Drea
it is, because it can't be us, because the only other person I would think of is Usher, But Usher not a. I know Usher. Not a tourist. I think he, like, a Libra or something like that.
Lex P
Chris Brown. Yeah.
Drea
He's a Taurus, and I know that for a fact.
Lex P
Oh, you knew that?
Drea
Because I know.
Lex P
I just know.
Drea
He is.
Lex P
He is. That's right. Ding, ding, ding.
Drea
He's a tourist. Like, his. Every time. I feel like. But I think he's a May tourist, though, which people don't like to get into it. But it's a difference. Like, with every sign, I feel like it's a difference between, like, the April Tauruses and the May Tauruses.
Lex P
Okay.
Drea
The July Leos. And the August Leos, the August Virgos and the September Virgos. Like it's a difference. It really is. It is. But he's. I think he a matrix.
Lex P
Okay. You got it right? It's Chris Brown. We not gonna get no Beyonce and
Drea
Chris Brown wilding a little bit, though. He do. When he cuts up.
Lex P
He cuts up. I'm not even gonna start. Cause you know, the breezies and the.
Drea
But I'm not gonna say that. The negative about him. Cause I would love to have him on the show. I think he would be a great guest on the show.
Lex P
Would you wanna have him on the show? Read the next ones. You wouldn't wanna have him on the show?
Craig
Just let's grow on now.
Drea
Okay. Now please come right. Damn.
Craig
I didn't say anything.
Drea
I think that's the problem.
Lex P
Why I didn't say anything.
Drea
You could have said yes or no.
Lex P
Yes. Yes or no. Give my clues.
Craig
Come on, girl.
Drea
Okay, let's see. Big personality. Loves to feel good and look good. Confident and expressive. I don't really know what else to
Ty
say, male or female.
Drea
It's a woman.
Lex P
You don't have no other hints to give me?
Drea
She black.
Ty
Actor or singer?
Drea
A singer.
Lex P
I didn't look. I didn't look. I didn't look ahead. I didn't look ahead. I really didn't. You can cut that out. But I didn't.
Drea
A singer. I'll give y'.
Lex P
All.
Drea
I mean, I feel like if I give y' all this hint, y' all probably get it right. She from Houston.
Lex P
Houston. I'm trying to think. It's definitely not Meg.
Drea
Sound like I'm over here running a blank.
Lex P
It's definitely not Meg. Cause Meg is an Aquarius.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
Mona Leo is not a Taurus.
Drea
She is a Taurus.
Lex P
She is a Taurus.
Drea
But that's not. No, but it's not her. But she is a Taurus.
Ty
Oh, she did just say that. I'm a big old Taurus.
Drea
Yeah, she is.
Lex P
So it's not Mona Leo. I know it's not Ken.
Drea
No, Ken is a Gemini.
Lex P
Okay, Ken is a Gemini.
Drea
We know our friend sign.
Lex P
Beyonce's a Virgo.
Drea
Beyonce is a Virgo.
Lex P
Who the fuck is from Houston? Hold on.
Drea
I'm watching y' all hoes back there too.
Lex P
Let me see. In a minute. I'm a little bit of.
Craig
It's about. Damn. Tom Lizzo. Hey.
Lex P
Mm. Oh, wow.
Ty
Okay.
Craig
Okay. I forgot about Lizzo.
Lex P
Lauren went to school with Lizzo.
Drea
Yes. She from the Southwest.
Lex P
Okay, shout out to Lizzo now.
Craig
Lizzo, come sit on the couch.
Drea
Now, see, that was very shady.
Craig
Why?
Lex P
Go ahead.
Drea
Go to the last question.
Lex P
All right, you right. Strong voice, very expressive. Comes off warm and relatable, like you could talk to her about anything. Has been through a lot, but still stands strong and authentic. Gives honest, unfiltered energy. And she can sing her ass off. And it's a white girl, and she can sing.
Drea
I know who it is.
Lex P
And it ain't no debate about. Cause y' all know we like to debate on the white girl who can sing, but no, I've never seen anybody debate about this.
Drea
I know who it is, but, like, she been rubbing me the wrong. She done rub me the wrong way.
Lex P
Oh, no, I know it's not. Who you thinking? Cause this one definitely ain't rubbed you the wrong way. So think the opposite. No, she have.
Drea
I think.
Lex P
Okay, who's your guess? Kelly Clarkson.
Drea
Oh.
Lex P
Cause I thought you meant the other American Idol, because I thought you meant to say Carrie Underwood, because she's definitely been rubbing me the wrong way.
Drea
Oh, maybe you right. Maybe it is.
Lex P
Carrie Underwood is the. The.
Drea
You right. I knew it was one of them American Idols.
Lex P
Yeah, it's. It's Carrie. It's Carrie. She's maga.
Drea
Yeah, you right. That is who it is.
Lex P
Kelly is our sister.
Drea
Kelly is our sister. Okay. Shout out to Kelly.
Lex P
Shout out to Big K. But I'm
Drea
like, where's some of the other people? Like, they don't forgot so many people. I had to look it up.
Lex P
Okay, cool. Give us the big list of big Taurus energy.
Drea
Share.
Craig
Oh, do you believe?
Drea
Exactly. Enrique Iglesia.
Craig
I can be your hero, baby. I can take your breath away. Oh, yeah.
Drea
George Clooney.
Lex P
Oh, that's the actor. He don't got no songs.
Drea
Dwayne Johnson.
Lex P
The rock.
Drea
Yes.
Lex P
Jabroni.
Drea
Megan Fox.
Lex P
She don't got no song.
Drea
Channing Tatum.
Craig
Okay.
Lex P
He could pop, lock, and drop it.
Drea
Jessica Alba.
Lex P
Okay. Honey, honey.
Drea
Renee Zellweger.
Craig
Ooh.
Lex P
Bridget Jones Diary.
Drea
I never knew that. Yeah, I never knew that at all.
Lex P
That's a big one.
Drea
Gigi Hadid.
Craig
Oh, we like the Hadid. Okay.
Drea
Yeah, I mean, you know, we got a little list.
Lex P
You know, Zayn, Travis Scott.
Drea
Duh, I forgot about that, too.
Lex P
Oh, he said do Noon Doo Nu do. I'm the highest in the room.
Drea
And he from Houston. Shout out to Travis.
Lex P
When is his birthday?
Drea
Um, let me see.
Craig
Wow.
Lex P
I never knew he was a big Taurus.
Drea
April 30th.
Craig
Shout out to him.
Drea
So six days after me.
Lex P
Cool.
Drea
Blac Chyna.
Craig
Okay, I like that.
Drea
I mean, it's a lot of Tauruses, but
Lex P
I like Black China, too. Well, Angela, respectfully, she goes by Angela.
Drea
Call her Black China.
Lex P
She goes by Angela. Shout out to her. I would like to have her on the Catch too. DC Energy.
Drea
I think that would be a good episode. I feel like that would be a good episode. It's been a lot going on and I'm not about to say nothing. Cause I don't want that crazy ass.
Lex P
Well, I already talked about it on the other show.
Drea
That's.
Lex P
Yeah, I'll leave it to you. That's all right.
Drea
Yes, yes. Cause that lady throwed off.
Lex P
She bite. Todd, what we drink.
Drea
You might be raped.
Lex P
Look at that, you hoy.
Drea
But yes, Todd, what are we drinking today on a birthday episode?
Ty
All right, so this is for our girl draya for her 35th celebration. 35th lap around the sun. This is gonna be 35 alive and thriving, honey. Cause the blessings are gonna continue to rain in on you. All right, this one, I actually brought in something special from my last trip to Italy. I have some limoncello direct from the Amalfi coast.
Lex P
Oh, my God.
Ty
So it's kind of like we're gonna. Well, it's called 35 Alive and Thriving, but it has some limoncello, little bit of lemon juice in there. You can add whichever spirit of choice you want. If you want tequila or vodka or something light, you can definitely add that in. We have some sparkling limoncello from Lacroix. And then we also topped it off with some Prosecco. Cause our girl loves a little bit of bubble.
Drea
She sure do.
Ty
I garnish the glass with lemon. So it's giving kind of an afternoon on Amalfi Coast. And then I garnish it also with a orchid right on top. So an edible flower.
Drea
And this.
Lex P
Oh, you can eat it.
Ty
I wouldn't.
Lex P
This is edible.
Ty
It is edible.
PSA Announcer
Yes.
Drea
It's me again.
Lex P
And we prepped.
Drea
Prep.
Craig
Oh, my.
PSA Announcer
Oh, it's the time for empowerment. And I've got a message for you. You gotta think about sexual health no matter what. Where, where? With who.
Drea
Yeah. Yeah.

It's edible in the sense like I wouldn't chew on it and eat it but like it's fine to go in your food and drinks.
Drea
Girl, I thought you had made these Texas for real. I was like is this a blue bonnet?
Ty
It's A blue.
Lex P
Blue bonnets are tall and skinny, girl.
Drea
All I know is that it's our flower.
Lex P
You right. It is you, right. Like a mayflower. I want it tasty. It don't taste like nothing. She told us not to eat it.
Drea
And we still age like some badass kids.
Ty
It's kind of like it tastes like a flower.
Drea
Yeah. Craig look intrigued.
Lex P
He was back there, like, I want one. We finna deep fry that bitch.
Craig
Dip it in blue cheese.
Lex P
Okay.
Drea
No, that was good, though. That was good.
Lex P
No, the drink is good. I'm a little fancy.
Drea
Yes. I love a little grown and sexy drink.
Craig
Amalfi Co.
Drea
I like limoncello, too.
Lex P
Do you think Amalfi is worth a visit?
Ty
Absolutely.
Drea
I would go back.
Ty
I love Italy in general, but Amalfi was, like, one of the best experiences. It's so many different islands along the coast that you can, like, hit and enjoy. Sorrento literally smells like lemons.
Lex P
Oh, my God.
Ty
Fresh citrus. Just right off the tree.
Drea
That sound fun.
Lex P
And speaking of Italy, real quick, I just have to talk about this. Cause I went to the. You burped or farted?
Drea
That cello had me burping. Oh, little gassy.
Lex P
Why would you think I farted? Cause you said, excuse me.
Drea
You don't say excuse me when you burp.
Lex P
Yes, I say excuse me when I burp and fart. That's why I said, which one was it?
Drea
I wouldn't fart on camera. Have you farted on camera before? I feel like you have, but I think you let a solid one out before.
Lex P
Yeah, I can feel in my stomach. I know when it's gonna stink or not. When it's one that is just air, I'mma let it loose. You didn't know it. I mean, I farted about four times today since we started.
Drea
You're lying.
Lex P
I farted right now. No, you didn't.
Craig
But why did you pass that shit over?
Drea
Cause I was telling you.
Craig
You couldn't smell it, girl.
Drea
No. Leave that gas over there.
Lex P
Why?
Drea
And maybe that's why they say passing it. If he put it over there.
Lex P
No, don't fight it.
Drea
But no, you be sitting in that chair over there. And from now on, even on solo episodes, you need to sit your ass over there.
Craig
It's strange.
Drea
Cause you be farting.
Craig
Hell, yes.
Drea
That's crazy.
Lex P
And she ain't got on no bottoms.
Drea
And she don't got on no drawers, neither.
Lex P
It's open. Easy access.
Drea
It's nothing to trap it in.
Craig
Leigh. What?
Lex P
Stop. That's why I got these things On. So if you see them blowing.
Craig
Ooh.
Lex P
If you see him fluttering, bitch. It went down.
Drea
I don't like that. Aw, brother like no tough crowd.
Craig
Damn.
Drea
Who farts in?
Craig
Why lock em down?
Drea
I can't.
Lex P
She gave me some espresso. I was tired, bitch.
Drea
But see, that's the thing, you know, Espresso make you guess. And you knew you was about to sit by me.
Lex P
So why have you smelled anything? And don't lie.
Drea
Possibly.
Craig
No, you lying.
Lex P
It's been air.
Drea
Possibly. That's why I asked.
Lex P
It's been.
Craig
I did shit, bro. You.
Drea
That's why I asked. Anyways, did you fart today?
Lex P
That's how it was.
Drea
I heard it.
Lex P
You are okay. Anyways, speaking of Italy, real quick. I wanna talk about this real quick because I always love to promote the black arts period. And I am a rom com lover and I went to see you me in Tuscany last night and I just wanna say this is not paid nothing. Y' all please go to the theaters and actually see it because I think we need to bring not. I think I know we need to bring back black fun movies. Like we don't have to always be traumatized in movies to go see them. I think like, I love the thing that sinners has started an original with black people. Black people. And you me in tuscany was a beautifully shot movie. Halle Bailey did so good. She looked stunning in the movie and it was just really good. So yeah, y' all make sure y' all go see youe me and Tuscany and let's support black rom coms and fun movies. I think we can. It's time for us to see black people just having fun and doing cute shit. Okay?
Drea
Okay. So period.
Lex P
All right, topic number two.
Drea
That old flour was kind of tasty. Maybe I'm just hungry.
Lex P
If you said that flour was good, that's how I know you deep in the health trenches. She eat grass like. Yeah, that motherfucker good.
Drea
I do like a little wheat grass.
Lex P
Okay, girl, go on now.
Drea
Yeah, I do.
Lex P
Okay, topic number two. You know, we're talking about getting older and now we are the adults. So do you think thus far you lived up to your parents expectations or even your own? Well, we already talked about that. Does the sex look like what you thought it would? Remember in Beyonce's song School of life, she said this is for them. 30 somethings that didn't turn out exactly how your mom, mom and daddy wanted you to be. Do you feel like you lived up to our girl Barb's expectations?
Drea
Yeah. Yeah, I think I've exceeded my mom's expectations for who she wanted me to be. I think at first, it was a little rocky.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
I think she was like, what the are you doing? When I was in my 20s, like, I think she was like, okay, so you moved to Atlanta to the bartender. You was already bartending. What the fuck are you doing?
Lex P
You could have did that here.
Drea
You could have stayed your ass in Houston and saved some money.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
And stayed here, did the same shit. So I definitely think my mom was trying to figure out, like, where are you trying to take this? And obviously, because I did go to college and because, you know, my parents paid for me to go to school, I didn't get a scholarship. I didn't get free tuition or anything like that. Like, my parents was paying for me to go to school. Especially, like, the first two years now when I moved off campus, I was getting a little refund check. But the first two years, my parents was paying part of my tuition. So I definitely feel like my mom was like, what the fuck was me and your dad wasting all this fucking money on for you to graduate and decide you want to be a damn bartender and wear leotards on the weekends? Leah's hearts. What the fuck? So I think.
Craig
Oh, shit.
Drea
I think she was a tad bit confused.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
But I think that it paid off. And now I 100% know my mom is really proud of me. Cause she tells me all the time. Like, she's always like, I'm just so proud of you. You're doing amazing. Like, she was like, people be walking up to me telling me that they so proud of you. Like, people in our family. She was like, sometimes people that listen to our. Who I guess, like, have met her and stuff at the Houston show, like, it doesn't happen often, but she was like, people have walked up to her and be like, oh, my God, your Dre is mom. And they just be, like, telling her how nice of a person I am and how well rounded I am. I remember she. I'm trying to remember where we went, but we went somewhere, and we took my mom, and she went to the restroom, and she had ran into some girls in the restroom that listen to the show, and they was just, like, raving about me. And then even when she was here, too, I don't think I've ever said these, but when she was up here, she was like, when she went to the restroom, and when she went to the kitchen and stuff, she was talking to, like, some of our staff, and, like, they was just like, oh yeah. I love Dreya. She's amazing. She's so kind. She's so sweet. And she was like, more than anything, that's what makes, makes her the proudest. It's like, it's cool that I'm becoming successful and I'm making a lot of money and all of those things, but what makes her the most proud is the person that she thinks she's raised as far as like the, the values that she's instilled in me and how kind I am and how caring I am and how giving I am. She was like, those are traits that money came by and she's glad that she instilled those things in me and it carried all the way through to adulthood because a lot of people instill that into their children and then when they become adults, they don't use any of the things that they was taught. So yeah, my mom tell me that all the time. I think that. And outside of my mom too, who is like obviously still living, but I think I'm like my ancestors wildest dreams. I feel like they gonna throw rose petals in my feet when I get
Craig
up there all el. Nicole.
Drea
I'm serious though. Facts. With the horns and everything.
Craig
Oh shit.
Lex P
You remember how like what was the singing ladies on Hercules? The black ladies?
Drea
That's how they gonna be with the horns, the harpoon. I truly do feel that way. Like I feel like we are an embodiment of our ancestors wildest dreams. Because my great grandparents, hell, even my grandparents couldn't fathom the life that I'm living right now.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
Another meme that I seen, it said, drea, it's good. It says, yo mama. Be like I had a life to it. It be like, mommy, I swear you ain't never had this much motion. But for real though, don't do that because. But it's funny. It was a joke. But of course. But also like. But no, seriously. Yeah. We're the first generation to really like be doing a lot of the stuff that we doing. Like our parents, our grandparents, our great grandparents cannot fathom the lives that we
Lex P
live in if there was like a TV screen and 21 year old Draya was watching. 35 year old Draya. Do you think that 21 year old Draya would be surprised?
Drea
No.
Ty
No.
Lex P
Maybe a little bit.
Drea
No. Cause I'm just, I don't know. But I feel like you know this about me, so I don't know why you shocked that I'm saying it.
Lex P
I'm acting like Oprah. Let me interview But I don't think
Drea
you should act like Oprah.
Craig
Cause you know me joking up.
Drea
Oh, my bad. Yeah, make me laugh.
Lex P
Yeah, go ahead.
Drea
Anyways, so. So, yeah, like, no, not really. Because I'm just a very confident person. Like, I always knew I was gonna be somebody. Like, it doesn't surprise me where I'm at. It's not shocking.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
Maybe the routes.
Lex P
Okay.
Drea
Because I never, I feel like I never knew what was gonna get me there, but I always knew I was gonna be successful. Like, I always knew that I was gonna have all of the things that I wanted. So no, I'm not really shocked. I don't think 21 year old me was. Would be shocked because that's all a part of the reason why I moved with no plan. I think you got to be a bold and audacious ass person to do that. Like to just pack your up and move from one state to another with no family, no friends and like just be like, oh, I know I'm gonna figure this out. I got it. I didn't have a plan. I didn't have a job. I moved here with somebody I knew for like four months. Very bold. I couldn't, I, I didn't. I wasn't like able to stay with nobody and like have time to figure out like I had to really get it out the mud when I moved out here, here. So, yeah, like, I always knew I was going to be straight.
Lex P
I love that.
Drea
Yeah, Pearl. How surprising. But I'm grateful nonetheless. But I don't know, I just think a lot of things come with and I hope, I always hope it doesn't sound like cocky, but I just think some people have like anointings on their life. And I've always felt that way about myself. Like, and again, not on no cocky. I think I'm special or better than other people or anything like that. But I really do think God has like an anointing on my life and I'm meant to do, do great things and I have like a major purpose. So even when it makes me uncomfortable sometimes being in the spotlight, because I don't necessarily think that that's what I thought that I would be doing because I'm so private. Like, I don't really like for people to be worried about what I got going on. But I think that when God puts you in certain positions, you have to recognize that he does it for a reason. And sometimes it's a bigger reason and a bigger purpose than what you realize at the time. But eventually it'll show itself.
Lex P
You cooking today, bitch.
Drea
Yeah. And sometimes I don't know that I figured that out yet. Like, I don't know that I've realized what exactly my purpose is, but I do think that this is a part of it.
Lex P
Oh, for sure. I think. I don't mean to speak for you, but I didn't realize my purpose until. And it sounds crazy, but I talk about it all the time. Like, the first time we went on tour, and people walking up to us, crying, talking about, I didn't think I was gonna get through the day, but y' all just made me laugh, and that's just all I needed, just a little. And I'm like, sometimes that's all people need. If I can make you escape and feel good, if I can give you a little bit of advice or a little bit of guidance or whatever that you need to stick it out and stick it through, then that's my purpose. That's all I need. I really enjoy making people feel good. And I think for me, like, I think right now, like, if my mom were still here, I think my mom knew, like. Cause my mama used to be in the comments, arguing, damn. Fighting for her baby.
Ty
Now she tussling.
Lex P
Oh, my Lord. I used to be like, mom, get out of 85 comments. I mean, she's being in the comments, going crazy. She did. So my mom was very in tune with social media, too. So I think at first she was like, what are you doing? No, this ain't it. But then when she, like. Cause my mom was always a fan of Carlos. So, like, once we started working with Carlos and she saw, like, we went on the show, she was like, oh, this is for real. Then we went on our first tour. It was like, oh, my goodness. Like, you know, So I think I'm just glad that she got to see, like, the start. Like, the start of it, you know? So I'm like. I think now she would be like, look at my girl. You know what I'm saying? So I think that I'm definitely meeting my mom's expectation, honestly, probably surpass them, because, I mean, she grew up in Orange, Texas, as I. So did I. People don't do anything out of orange, no shade. But when you live in Orange, Texas, you grow up, you either go work at the hospital or you go work at a plant. You find somebody that you graduated with, y' all get married, and then y' all do that. Y' all raise some old people that's finna work at the hospital. Go work at the plants. That's what happens? And so it was kinda like, okay, girl, which medical field you getting into? You know, you can move to Houston, but what medical field you getting into? What you gonna do? Like, something like that. So having the nerve, the gall to be like, I want to be in the entertainment industry. It's like, okay, be so for real. And it wasn't like she didn't necessarily believe in me. It was just like, how are you gonna do that? Cause we never saw that, you know? So I think she saw the start of it, but I think now she'll be like, oh my fucking God, what have you done? She would be probably living in my damn house right now. She's true. She would definitely be living with me right now.
Drea
For sure. I mean, I don't know. And I think, like, another valid point that I think a lot of people need to hear is like, you gotta be okay with disappointing your parents.
Lex P
Oh, for sure.
Drea
When you own. Own path. Like, so many people, they want to make their parents happy. They feel like they have to do what they want them to do. Especially like when you come from certain lineages. Like if you come from like a family of doctors, or you come from a family of lawyers, or like you said, like your whole family, everybody have like, worked in the plant or whatever. So they like, oh, you need to work in the plant. You need to get these benefits. Get this 401k. That's a good living. But you have dreams and aspirations of being an entrepreneur. Chase your dreams, do what you want to do, and be okay with disappointing people. Cause this your motherfucking life. And you only get one life. And like, I say that as a person who went through that just because we are talking about our parents. Like, before my dad passed away, when I decided to move to Atlanta, before my dad got sick, he was so fucking mad at me.
Craig
He was.
Lex P
I didn't know.
Drea
Like, we didn't talk. Like, he. He didn't talk to me for like the first few months that I moved here. And luckily we ended up starting back talking or whatever before he got sick. And we had a good relationship again. But like, for the first few months, he was really upset because I always talk about how, like, I was a daddy's girl. Like, me and my dad was so close and he was pissed. Like, my mom, she didn't want me to move to Atlanta, but my mom just kind of always more so being the parent out of my parents, that was like, this her life. She gonna do what she wanna do. Like, we can't control her. We just Gotta let her do what she wanna do. And my dad, he felt the same way. But it was never a situation where he felt like I wasn't gon around him and I was kind of being taken from him. Cuz with school it was a little bit different. I wasn't that far. And then I used to drive home all the time, but like moving to another state and then on top of that again, just not having a plan. I think he was just like, what are you doing? Like, what's the point? And he was pissed. He was like, that doesn't make any sense. And he just didn't understand it. But I did it anyways and look where you. And thank God I did because it worked out. And then he forgave me for it too. Because he came to realize, like, I this her life. I can't be mad at her for wanting to make decisions for herself. I raised her to be an independent thinker and now I'm mad because she doing it.
Lex P
That's the same. My mom was pissed when I moved to. Oh, she was pissed. So how about you, Ty? Cause I know with your mom it's kind of the same situation. So how do you think your mom would look at you Now?
Ty
I know my mom is smiling down, like straight up. And I think I get confirmations every so often. Like, am I going in the right direction? Like, mom, I'll talk to her, but I do. But my mom, I was blessed enough for her to see me move to Atlanta, buy a house. She came down and visited me. She helped me decorate. That was something that made her the most proud. In that moment, in that time, I had a good job, all of these things. And to your point, once she passed, I felt like I shifted because I
Drea
didn't know I was lost.
Ty
I didn't know what to do. But I knew I wanted to find something that made me happy and made
Drea
me feel more fulfilled.
Ty
And so that's when I pivoted from insurance. So I know she's proud that I at least took her death to become where I'm at now. Like, I used that time to realize, like, life is short because my mom was under 50 when she passed. Life is short. Live for you. Go do what you want to do. Move abroad, do what you want to do. Have fun, bartend.
Drea
Now the rest of my family was
Ty
pissed when I left corporate to bartender. They thought I lost my. They thought I was Kanye.
Lex P
Oh, Lord, hell yeah.
Ty
Like, literally they would be like, ty, you're. What's going on here? Yeah, like make it make sense. But I think now that they see kind of where I'm at as an entrepreneur on the show working with Crown, like they see, like it all makes sense now. They just had to stick with the, stick with the vision. But I know she's proud of me.
Lex P
How does your family feel about you being on the show?
Just Food for Dogs Announcer
They love it.
Lex P
Okay, good.
Ty
Like my cousins be calling me, like
Craig
oh my God, I see you girl.
Lex P
Okay.
Drea
Shout out to my cousin Shonda.
Ty
Cause she all.
Lex P
That's my biggest supporter. That's my biggest. Okay, good. Cause I be. Cause I know sometimes we get a little rowdy on here, but you know how funny.
Drea
Cause people ask me that too all the time. Like how do my mom feel about the show and stuff? My mom will be having a key. A key.
Lex P
So when she was in here that
Ty
time, y', all, my 60 year old uncle watch y'.
Lex P
All.
Ty
Okay, Just so you know, Uncle Daryl is out there.
Craig
Okay.
Lex P
Uncle Darryl, Well I was telling all about.
Ty
He be watching y', all, he be glad, period.
Drea
We gotta meet Uncle Daryl.
Lex P
Uh huh. And y' all know Uncle Freddie, he has a key, shows up, he be
Drea
having the time because like at the end of the day these are older people. But one good point that my mom pointed out to me, cuz I did have aunt one time who came to one of our live shows on our last tour and like she wasn't really feeling it. Like she wasn't really feeling the jokes and stuff like that. And my mom was mad as she was. So why she so she was like, yeah, she want to act like she wasn't ever young before. She wasn't outside messing with them.
Lex P
Exactly.
Drea
She was like, we all done did. We all done had sex. That's how everybody got here.
Craig
Come on mom.
Drea
And I was like, you ain't wrong,
Craig
give it up to him.
Drea
So yeah, but my mom, she don't care. Like she understand that like sometimes we be joking. Hell, sometimes we be for real. I might have sucks a little dick last night. She knows what the fuck going on.
Craig
I love me some Barbara. Cause she don't play.
Drea
I mean but she, but my mom was so cool. Like she don't care. Like she just be like whatever. Like. Cause you girl grown.
Lex P
Yeah, like we're not kids.
Drea
I be thankful that I have a mom like that though. Cuz I do feel like so many people have parents that be trying to like censor them or want them to like appear a certain way or feel like oh if you, you better not say certain stuff publicly or you better not do this and that cuz you embarrassing me. My mama don't never feel embarrassed by me. Yes it's me again. We prepped.
PSA Announcer
It's the time for empowerment and I've got a message for you. You gotta think about sexual health no matter what. With who.

Lex P
And I. I mean. And about to get into the bad topic. I think it's so weird that talking about sex is so taboo.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
Cause that Ari Lennox clip got posted when she was talking about how she's never had an orgasm or something. We were talking. They were like, make some conversations. Private sex. What? We like the fact that we can't even talk about sex without people being like, oh, my goodness. Oh, my God. It's like, y' all don't think that's weird?
Ty
And that's the problem now. Because people don't know enough about things. They don't know enough about the human anatomy. They don't know about reproduction and how things happen. That's why you get these little kids getting pregnant, because they don't know. They're like, oh, we were just kissing.
Lex P
Exactly.
Ty
And now you got a baby.
Lex P
Right.
Ty
You have to normalize that a little bit.
Lex P
They do. Conversations about sex should not be taboo. And y' all should not be making people feel like this is what we're talking about. Yes. Because we are literally all having sex. All of us. But yeah, but anyways, y' all ready to move on?
Drea
So now it's time to get into the bee.
Craig
A bow.
Drea
The bee A bow. The bee A bow. A bow. Bow, Bow, bow.
Lex P
Y'.
Drea
All.
Lex P
Let me get another shot.
Ty
Amen.
Drea
Let's take another shot.
Craig
Sure.
Drea
So, yes. It's my birthday episode, so I'm going to probably have a little birthday six. I don't know. We don't see you finna break that thing off.
Craig
We gonna see.
Drea
I don't know. Because I have been not having sex. I know a minute.
Lex P
Because that ass finna be. Lil Abby finna be throwing that ass back.
Drea
I don't know though. We gonna see.
Lex P
Cause it's your pretty soon knew you
Drea
wanna ride out and I just been getting worn down.
Lex P
What's getting worn down?
Drea
Not me.
Lex P
Oh, I was like, that's what I said, not me.
Drea
But you know how like somebody just be like applying so much pressure like Urkel did.
Craig
I'm wearing you now.
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
Where you down?
Drea
Yeah. So it's like. I don't know. I don't know. We going to see.
Lex P
I think if you want to do it. It's your birthday. So if that's what your pussy desires.
Craig
Let that pussy drink a little water. That kitty cat is thirsty.
Drea
I might. Thank you, Ty. I might let that coochie breathe.
Craig
Feed that cat some milk.
Drea
We'll see though. We'll see. Because I do feel like once you reopen the can of worms, like once you start having with somebody again that you already had sex with before, you
Lex P
don't know that coochie gonna start
Craig
breathing.
Lex P
It's gonna start breathing.
Drea
That sounded like that man. What was that man name? Biz Marquis.
Lex P
I can't do it.
Drea
Yeah, that's what you just. I hope my coochie don't sound like that.
Lex P
It's gonna start coughing.
Drea
No, if he not the bad way. If he's coughing, something ain't right.
Lex P
No, not like that. I meant like I'm gonna be like,
Drea
you need more than salt. Egg salt if you start coughing.
Lex P
Speaking of salt and salt, you need
Drea
a little more than some boric acid. Than that body. You need more than that.
Craig
Bro, shut up. What you do if yo coochie is coughing? I meant coughing.
Lex P
Like you know how sometimes you taste something that you ain't tasted in a
Drea
long time and we have to give a disclaimer because Jaleesa do be performing miracles. But if it's coughing, you need to go see your doctor.
Lex P
Yeah, yeah, but what you got?
Drea
But I do have that sweet release. So if you are a girl who you know, maybe, and let me not even say a girl because this is for the seasoned woman as well. Like, you know, a lot of women when they get to perimenopause or once they get to menopause, you know, they say that lubrication starts to become an issue a little bit. So the sweet release is great for that. Not only is it good for your digestive tract and it helps with gut health, but it also going to get that thing a little more gushy.
Craig
Usy Bedroom boom. Bedroom boom.
Drea
That's what's going down tonight.
Craig
My bed will be. Let me body. Yeah.
Drea
Let me get on bottom while you hey, facts. But yes, you, you going to be great on bottom with that sweet release.
Lex P
I'm not going to lie, y'.
Drea
All. That bottom is going to be bedroom booming.
Lex P
I feel like we talk about salt xo a lot, but I don't think, I don't know if I ever told this story. I have a very, very sensitive Garfield. Okay, Garfield. Always sensitive. I feel like when I'm on my period, I always have to do like a restart, do a whole, you know, to get my ph back on. If I use a wash down there or something just throws me off. Anything throws me off when I use this consistently, it's balance.
Drea
No issue.
Lex P
I don't have issues ever. I don't know what it is, but I use it every day. And I'm not lying because I was using a different one before, before we even started working with them. Drea put me on and I just started using it every day. I can't even tell you the last time my ph has been thrown off with anything. Always fresh, so fresh, so clean.
Drea
Clean, yes.
Lex P
And you know, it changed my vaginal life.
Drea
I'm telling you. I love Sawdex, though. I swear by it. I feel like it is the best vaginal products that I have ever used. Seriously. It really is. It's gonna keep you ph balanced. Then like I said, she also has so many other products like the boric acid, which is like you don't even need to use boric acid if something is wrong necessarily. But it's just good to refresh your ph balance. Like whether you getting off of your period, whether you just had sex and you just want to clean it, let it breathe. Yeah, that rejuvenation, right? That rejuve oil gonna get you right too. And now she also has a lot of. Of travel size products. And that's what I really love too. Cause I just went on a trip. I just went to Vegas with my best friend and I took my SaltXO travel size. Cause I don't leave the house without it. I'm not going out of town without that salt XO on my hip.
Lex P
And then she got the wash with the seed. Sometimes I'll open it and I'll just feed her a little seed. Sometimes she get hungry, she need a little snack. I give her a little seed. Just a little. Eat it. Sometimes she hungry. Please just feed her a little seed. Then she go like this. She grabs it, she grabs her seed.
Drea
Well, I don't know if that's the recommended usage, but you should get the salt xo coochie wash with the seeds in it. That's actually my favorite one.
Lex P
And she eats it.
Drea
Yes.
Lex P
She probably need a snack right now.
Drea
Okay, you can wait.
Lex P
All right. You right, you right, you right. All right, getting into the bad topic. Go ahead, Dreamy. I'll still be calling you dreamy. You know that, right?
Drea
I be. And I block everybody that say that. So that's word to y'. All. If y' all watching this shit. Call me that shit if you want to. You getting blocked. Oh, I don't like it.
Lex P
I'm sorry. I didn't know. I thought we were blocked.
Drea
You about to get blocked. Yeah.
Lex P
So can I call you Little Abby or. You don't like that either?
Drea
It was funny the first two times.
Craig
Okay, I'm not gonna do it.
Lex P
No, on Dre and Nicole. I'm cool. Dre and Nicole.
Drea
It was funny the first two times.
Craig
My bad.
Drea
Now it's getting a little excessive. Cause you do say it under every poster.
Craig
I.
Lex P
They be poking out.
Drea
I be over here, like.
Lex P
They be poking out, though.
Drea
Little Abby.
Lex P
You should do a.
Drea
So creative.
Lex P
It was, though, original. Name one bitch named Lil Abby.
Drea
It's hella bitches named Abby.
Lex P
They got ab.
Drea
They names me Abigail.
Lex P
And do they got abs possibly?
Drea
No, I feel like that's on brand. If your name is Abby, you should get some abs. You should. But yeah, okay.
Lex P
Dre and Nicole, I'm sorry, I'm gonna call you nothing. Alex P. And don't forget to I'm
Drea
start calling you Alexis P. You know,
Lex P
Killa calls me that.
Drea
I hate when people call you that.
Craig
Why?
Drea
So it's so funny because remember that video that Shay posted the other day when we did like the Alphabet with the girls? And it was like, w, who the fuck is Alexis? P. Or I was like, who the fuck is Alexis? Cause they always calling you Alexis.
Lex P
It was a comment one time on one video and somebody was like, oh, my God, Alexis. And you said it in the comment,
Drea
cause who the fuck is Alexis?
Lex P
I don't care. It don't bother me.
Drea
Who the fuck is Alexis?
Lex P
I know, but I think.
Drea
Cause no, it don't bother me neither. But I just be trying to figure out who is Alexis.
Lex P
I think. Cause they see Killa calling me that. Cause Killa calls me that as a joke. Like when I'm being bad, she'll be like, alexis, please. But I get upset. I don't like it when people call you Driya. It bothers the fuck outta me. I be like, her name's Drea.
Drea
See, this is the thing about me with nicknames. So I was kind of kidding. Like, it doesn't. At first, it was funny. Like, I'm a person who I. I can take a good joke. Like, I think shit be funny. It's when people drag shit that it starts to get on my nerves. Cause it just be like, all right, bro, it been, like, six months. But you've been eight months. It was funny when we had Kev on the show.
Lex P
Okay.
Drea
And it was funny for, like, the first month or so after that. Now it's been, like, eight months. So I be like, y' all know my name. Not dreamy. Stop calling me that. And then I also think certain shit is like, a term of endearment.
Lex P
Mm.
Drea
Y' all don't know me.
Lex P
Mm. Mm. Now, I do get mad when people call me by my government name.
Drea
That T word that pisses me off.
Ty
Really?
Drea
And I get mad when people call me Andrea, too.
Ty
I get mad when people call me by my government.
Lex P
You do?
Ty
Yes.
Lex P
Yeah, yeah. Now that bitch call me Ty.
Ty
That's what I'm known as. Don't play with me. Yeah.
Drea
Yeah. So you get where I'm coming from. It's almost kind of like. And I think people do it to be. Sometimes to be on some funny shit, like. Cause they just don't want to call you by what you want to be called by. So they'll be like, well, I'm going to call you Andrea, bitch. Call me Draya.
Lex P
Well, I think sometimes people want to do it just because. Be like, oh, I know what your real name is. Because on certain episodes, I have said my name, and sometimes I don't. Especially when we have a big guest. I think it was like Wiz or something we had a big guest on. I was like, oh. They were like, lex is not your name. And I was like, no, it's not. But I'll tell you afterward. Cause I know there's gonna be people tuned into this show who never watched the show. I don't want y' all to know my name. And it was people in the comments. Oh, her name is xyz. Y' all don't feel a little weird? Cause I've never said call me this. Now, if y' all wanna call me Alexis. Lexi. Lexi P. Call me. You know, I don't mind. But when you call me by the government. Cause I will say that's something close to me. Like, that's what my sister calls me. Like, that's what my aunt calls me. Like my uncle. Like, I need a little separation. Separate the church and state.
Craig
I agree.
Drea
I just think it needs to be separation. And I think sometimes people just take it overboard. Like, again, I love a good job. Say it a few times. Let it go.
Lex P
You right. I got you. One more time. Happy birthday, Abby.
Drea
Yeah, I like this. Abby.
Lex P
I ain't gonna hold you. You good?
Drea
I love Lil Abby.
Craig
That's your God. Hey, I almost said it again.
Lex P
I know.
Drea
I don't hate it.
Lex P
Okay, I'm not gonna do it no more.
Drea
But it's not so much. I mean. Okay. Lil Abby is not as bad as Dreamy. I don't like that.
Craig
It's so.
Drea
Only because people was calling me that because they really did not know how to pronounce my name.
Lex P
Okay, that's understandable.
Drea
And I don't think they were being funny. They really read it that way. Like, dreamy, called, sorry, it's not funny. So to call me that when you know my name is Dre. I just feel like it's a little facetious.
Lex P
Yeah, that's a big word for em.
Craig
Yeah, right?
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
Yeah, it's a little facetious. Like, to just call me that all the time when you know my name is Drea.
Lex P
What that mean?
Drea
It just mean, like, you trying to be, like, funny. Like you're trying to, like, you know, make it a thing.
Lex P
Okay, okay, okay. I'm sorry. I didn't know what that meant.
Drea
Yeah, honey.
Lex P
Facetious. I'm mad. That's the vocab. Okay. We never talked about the bed topic.
Drea
We did not.
Lex P
The bad topic is aging. Vaginal health. As women age, hormones shift, especially estrogen, which can affect elasticity, sensitivity. Moistures. Moistures. I'm drunk. Moisture. Moisture. There.
Drea
You need to be careful. Cause it's raining.
Lex P
Well, I'm not drunk, y'. All. Now you know how I act when I'm drunk.
Drea
Oh, I know. That's why I'm concerned.
Lex P
No, I'm not concerned. Moisture. And, yes, even appearance. But the real combo is, why are we educated on this early? Do changes like this affect how women feel about themselves or their sexuality? And how do you stay confident as your body evolves? That's what I wanna touch on. Because I feel like the vanity of getting older. Especially with. I hate the way people talk about vaginas. Have y' all ever seen those pictures? And they'll be like, which number are you? Which number vagina are you? And they'll be like, this is a roast beef sandwich. Like, they compare vaginas to crazy things that people are like, oh, my pussy don't hang out or my clit don't hang out. Mine all in. It's all tucked in. I don't like that when it hang out. And I feel like we prob have had a conversation like that in the back. Red and black background. Being young is stupid, but I feel like the human body is beautiful because it's complex and everybody looks different. Right. And as we age, things are going to get a little out of place. So I think that everything should be embraced. But we also need to educate men and women about the human body and just how it looks. And let's be realistic about it. Especially body parts like nut sacks too. They hang now.
Craig
And that's all right.
Lex P
You ever seen some old balls ty?
Ty
Only. Never in person, only on the screen. And it don't look appealing to me.
Lex P
But see, we got to learn to love it, you know, because as you age, it's gonna get a little crazy down there. Your vagina changes. Yes. And I did not know that, that as a 36 year old woman. I didn't know like your vagina changes when you go through menopause. I just thought you go through menopause and it's internal. Things change about your vagina too.
Drea
On the outside.
Lex P
On the outside.
Ty
What happens during.
Drea
Yeah, I thought it was only internal as well.
Lex P
Well, that, that's what they say. The, the, the, the, the effect, the elasticity and.
Ty
Oh, that's when it started hanging out.
Lex P
It starts hanging out.
Ty
The hanging was from having so much sex like porn stars usually. That's what I assumed.
Lex P
No, okay. You lose it. Just. Okay.
Drea
And I thought the hanging was always just anatomy. Like I feel like some women, they have looser coochie lips. Some women have smaller coochie lips. Like some people's lobby, lobbyists are smaller than others. Like, but that's just natural anatomy. Like that doesn't have anything to do with how much sex you have. And it's just like internally, some women's vaginas are tighter than other women's vaginas. Like so it's some bullshit. Be like, oh, I know she ran through. Cause she done fucked all these niggas. Her coochie loose. Her coochie loose. And I done said this before is her granny coochie was loose.
Lex P
Talk about it.
Drea
It's hereditary. It's the rose. Coochie was loose. No shade.
Lex P
No shade.
Drea
Cause we don't know. But hypothetically.
Lex P
But I was saying, think about your skin aging right on your face. As you get older, your skin starts to sag. Your arms Will start to sag. Things start to sag. Your vagina, it's a part of the body, like the skin. It's normal. It's very, very normal. And like I said, you just never think about stuff like that. That's why. Do y' all remember that surgery that was going crazy in the early 2000s? It was like the rejuvenation of the vagina. Yeah. Like people were getting facelifts for their vagina. Older women were because society was telling them, pick up your vagina, it's hanging on the floor.
Ty
That was the original mommy makeover.
Craig
Pick up the pieces.
Lex P
That's crazy to think about, though.
Ty
That was the original mommy makeover. It was four BBLs and stuff, really. They were going in to get their vaginas tightened. It wasn't that they were necessarily getting the fat removed. It was literally just to tighten it
Drea
back up to get it tightened. Tighten up that vagina, get it right, get it tight.
Lex P
But I think that that's crazy.
Drea
I mean, ain't nothing wrong with wanting having a tight pussy for the rest of your life.
Lex P
I think as things get older, I just. I love myself and you need to. If I don't want to change nothing on my body, then you shouldn't be worried about.
Drea
You should love my old coochie too.
Lex P
Yes. If I wanna tie it in a bow.
Drea
If I could tie it in a bow. That's where I draw the line.
Lex P
I'm not.
Drea
We about to go get that nip tuck. If it gets to a point to where I can tie it in a bow. If I can. If I can pull that motherfucker too far. No, no. Do you think that that's just me, though?
Lex P
Do you think coochie's can be too fat?
Drea
No.
Lex P
Oh, okay. I believe you, sister. Mm.
Drea
Mm. I feel like the fatter the better.
Lex P
Okay.
Drea
You need a little meat on that thing. I don't really want no flat pussy.
Lex P
No bony. Yeah, but I don't want no bony. Yeah, but I don't want no big, big Goliath.
Drea
Well, too bad.
Ty
That's how I imagine Garfield.
Lex P
Excuse me, who laughed?
Drea
Don't matter. Guess it don't matter what you want.
Craig
Hello?
Lex P
Okay.
Drea
Guess it don't matter.
Craig
Let me take my.
Lex P
I'm just saying, you know what happened though?
Drea
Enlighteness.
Lex P
Nothing.
Craig
That thing just fancy.
Drea
Exactly.
Lex P
I didn't ask you.
Drea
I know you didn't. You were chosen. Gee.
Ty
Cause I'm like, that's how I imagine Garfield to be.
Lex P
I don't understand what you.
Drea
But Ty, you've seen it.
Lex P
Wait, No, I have.
Craig
Thank you, Tyler.
Drea
Yes, you have.
Ty
When has she seen my pussy through her clothes?
Lex P
Yes.
Bethenny Frankel
Okay.
Lex P
Yes, ta.
Ty
Through your clothes, but not, like.
Drea
Well, through the clothes.
Lex P
Yes, you've seen it through the clothes.
Drea
I've seen it both ways. That's why I can confirm.
Craig
Okay.
Lex P
But I said this on the episode the other time. I think that it's funny that we laugh and talk about Garfield on the show, because I feel like we've created a community here. I do not like it when y' all be talking about Garfield under my pictures. Oh, I don't do that well, I know that.
Ty
Okay.
Lex P
But I'm talking about, like we were talking about earlier. Like, sometimes I'll just post a picture and be like, garfield came to play. Y' all have to realize my coochie does not look fat to me. Cause I look at it every day. This is. It's normal to me. So sometimes when it pokes out, I don't really notice it. I really don't.
Drea
Oh, my God. You must be so stressed.
Lex P
Oh, my God.
Drea
Oh, my God. My coochie does not look fat to me. Y' all stop pointing it at the holes.
Lex P
It's so hard.
Drea
I can't help that it's poking. I can't help that it's meaty.
Lex P
Mm. It is. It's giving baconator.
Drea
Oh, my God, it's so juicy.
Lex P
Not really. Is it be dropping?
Drea
It's okay.
Lex P
You guys saw that.
Drea
So tweet release. Got you.
Craig
Leave me alone.
Lex P
You need a little more juice.
Craig
Oh, Lord. Dre, sometimes I just wanna post a
Lex P
picture and they be talking about Garfield, but it's fake.
Drea
Okay, I'm finna move. We finna move. But this is okay. This is what I will say, okay? It's not right, but it's okay. It's not right, but it is okay. Because I think this is the thing. Us as women. Yes, it's me again.
Lex P
We prepped.

Just Food for Dogs Announcer
about it when it comes to your own food. You can walk into a restaurant, see what's being made and know exactly what you're getting. But with dog food, most brands keep that completely hidden. Just Food for Dogs does the opposite. They've built their entire brand around open kitchens. You can actually walk in and watch them prepare your dog's meals with real human grade ingredients like chicken, beef, carrots and peas cooked right there in front of you. No mystery, no behind the scenes, you're not allowed to see. That kind of transparency is rare in the pet food world, and it's a big reason they've become the number one vet recommended fresh dog food, earning trust from pet parents who want to feel confident in what they're feeding. When a brand is willing to show you exactly how your dog's food is made, it says a lot about the care, quality and standards behind every meal they produce. Nothing to hide, everything to love. Drea
You have to acknowledge that, like, you can't be mad when people comment on certain stuff if it's showing. That's just the reality of the times we living in. It's just like when I used to. When I had my nipples pierced and I used. But I'm being for real.
Lex P
You asked for that, though. You got your nipples pierced, bro.
Drea
No, I didn't, though. No, I didn't. Just because I have my nipples pierced, that does not mean that I'm asking for people to comment on it. No, it doesn't. It's my body. I should be able to do what I want to do to it. And it doesn't necessarily mean that people can always leave commentary on it all the time. I'm not an object. I'm not a sexual object. But people will treat you as such. And again, that goes back to my point. When you wear certain things or when certain things are showing, unfortunately, that's just what come with it. People gonna treat you that way, even if that's not necessarily the attention you asking for. So when I used to wear my nip, like, wear shirts with my nipple showing with no pasties on, and you can see my nipple rings, I can't be mad at. That's like the number one thing people commenting on. If I don't want people to comment on it, make sure it's covered up.
Lex P
So I feel like I didn't know.
Drea
But when you wear certain stuff, people probably don't say that. Like, if you was to post a picture in it, somebody probably not gonna say that.
Lex P
But I posted a gym picture, and I'm not even thinking about it. I'm just trying to show that's what I'm talking about. I posted a gym video on my Facebook and I was like, damn, this shit went crazy. Cause I went and checked it the next day. I'm not even thinking nothing of it. Cause I'm like, I'm in the gym. Honestly, that's why I stopped posting.
Craig
Have you noticed?
Drea
So you ain't know your coochie was fat in that video?
Lex P
I swear to God, I did not. I didn't.
Craig
Me and Todd talk about something.
Lex P
No, listen, because I was posting gym pictures every day. And I think it was because this outfit, it was lighter colored so you could really see the imprint of young Garfield. Okay? So young. You said we was young. We forever young.
Craig
Shut up, girl.
Drea
Right. We are.
Lex P
But I say that because I posted like I was posting the gym. Every day. When that shit went viral, I stopped posting to gym. Mm. I did. Cause I was posting the same videos every day of me getting out the sauna. Shay know we take the picture in the bathroom in front of the. I stopped posting it.
Craig
Yes.
Drea
Every time it's gonna be that side profile.
Lex P
It's gonna be that every time. And then I flex a little bit. Yeah, that arm.
Ty
Cause I called you Lil Abby.
Lex P
Yeah, you saw. I'm getting. My back is getting swollen, y'.
Drea
All.
Lex P
Anyways. Your back? Yeah, I do a lot of back exercise. Cause that's one problem that's like, I don't like about my back. Yeah, I got a little fat roll right here, but it's gone now. Anyways, I say all that to say I just stopped posting me in the gym. Cause I was like, you know what? Cause I do agree with you. You can't help what people comment on. So instead of me just. I just won't post myself in the gym.
Drea
Yeah, it's certain stuff. I mean, that's just people. Like, we live in a time where people are just so, like, everybody is just extra sexualized, like, and horny as fuck. So it don't matter what you post. You can post your big toe and somebody gonna be like, ooh, you posted this for free. No, somebody gonna be like, ooh, that toe look good. I suck the fuck out that motherfucker. Like, people just be. I put a little glaze on it. Like, people like, somebody definitely said that.
Craig
Somebody said that.
Drea
They did say that.
Craig
Cause you got the detail. I'm not being for that.
Drea
I get comments about my feet all the time. I get DMS about my feet all the time. It's like, very creepy and very weird.
Ty
So.
Drea
Yeah, that's what I'm saying, though. People are just horny, sexual, and they gonna sexualize everything. But the only control that we have is over what we post. Like, if you post something and people see it, we can't be mad they commenting on it. That's why I wear pasties now, honestly. Because I got tired of, like, posting fire ass. Te ass pictures and then, like, my nipples being the focal point. Focal point.
Lex P
Yeah. No, I agree with you 100%.
Drea
You know, for real.
Lex P
So what should I do to cover up my pussy?
Drea
I mean, I feel like certain stuff you wear naturally covers up your pussy, but if you wear something where it's like a little camel toe and you post it, you can't be mad that people commenting on it. I'm not saying you shouldn't Wear it. I'm just saying you can't be mad if people commenting on it.
Ty
Yeah, I think you gotta lean into it. Lean into that fat gorilla leaned into her moose knuckle.
Drea
She did?
Craig
Who did it?
Drea
Glorilla. Lean into your moose knuckle.
Lex P
I'm a little too seasoned. Okay. I said this episode was gonna be an hour.
Drea
We didn't even talk about coochie.
Lex P
But we did talk about coochie. We talked about the vaginal health of it, and we talked about the aesthetics of vagina and how we need to accept vaginas as we get older, because your vagina is gonna change aesthetically as you get older. So just like we have to accept getting wrinkles or gaining weight, skin elasticity. We have to understand that happens to our vaginas and men as well. Your balls are gonna get a little longer. You know what I'm saying? It's gonna hang a little bit. And that's okay, though.
Drea
Maybe a little stronger. Okay, so now it's time to get into the bow. Oh, the bow.
Lex P
A bow.
Drea
The bow.
Lex P
Bow, bow, bow, bow, bow, bow, bow, bow, bow.
Drea
So, Lex, what you been listening?
Lex P
Oh, my gosh, y'.
Drea
All.
Lex P
So I don't know if y' all remember I made him my bop of the week some years ago. So y' all don't remember St. Harrison, he had a colors thing that went viral. He had the song called Ego.
Craig
That ain't me. That's just my ego talking.
Lex P
Y' all remember that song? Anyways, he just dropped an ep. Well, he hasn't dropped the whole EP yet, but he dropped his single called Ghosted. It just. It's just so good. And I'm so ready for the entire EP to drop. Cause I've been waiting for him to drop, like, a full project for so long. So. So Ghosted by Saint Harrison. I love him. I'm a huge Stan of his. That's my bop of the week. And shout out to him. We love you. And I really want him to come to Atlanta and do a show. I think he would do well doing a show. And I wish we could do like a. You know how 85 south has 80 Bob? I want us to, like, host something with, like, indie artists, like A R and B night, but not, like, Porcelain.
Drea
Well, why is it a dish? I mean, why is. I said, why is it a dish? Why is it a wish? Wish.
Lex P
Uh. Oh.
Drea
Why is it a wish? Well, we can't do it.
Lex P
We can, I think once we get our.
Drea
Our what?
Lex P
I think that's something that we can have under the umbrella. So it's just things that I know that I could curate and develop. Develop on the music side, but that's definitely something I want to do. But, yeah, I mean, I feel like it's.
Drea
It's possible.
Lex P
There's a lot of things I want to do, music wise, that doesn't involve me singing, but I got a little ear on me, you know?
Ty
I think you want to discover new artists, or do you want to highlight or showcase, like, current. Is it more like a karaoke or, like, live open mic type of thing that you're looking for?
Lex P
I think it can be a mixture of both, because there's a lot of artists I feel like, that I heard in their super early stages, and I heard a song and then, like, it later ended up blowing up or something weird like that. Like, every time, like, I hear a song and I like. And I'm just, like, it ends up blowing up or something like that. So I would actually like to put artists in the forefront that just don't have the audience. Cause they have really damn good music. But, like, we have the audience. And what's crazy about it is when me and Dre do our bops of the week, they actually be going to listen to it. So I feel like we have the audience. I just need to figure out how to curate it and make it happen to where it's, like, very beneficial in the space. Like, these people that are listening are gonna actually be fans of you. And, you know, so it's something I've been thinking about the show. Cause it be just so many good people that are making good music that just need to be put out there. So. Yeah, what you been listening to, girl?
Drea
So I love when it's, like, a resurgence on the Internet of, like, old music. Cause, you know, they love to call us old bitches. So why the fuck y' all keep trying to remake and re listen to our music?
Lex P
Oh, I'm just. Let her cook.
Craig
You've been cooking today.
Drea
But seriously. I'm serious.
Craig
Right?
Drea
Because have you. Have y' all noticed how, like, all of, like, the early do. Do you call it the 2010s?
Ty
Yeah, early 2000s.
Drea
Like, 2000.
Lex P
I would say 2000.
Drea
Well, not the. Well, not the 2000s, because I. When I think of the 2000s, I think of, like, 2000 to 2010.
Lex P
Okay.
Drea
And then it was, like, 2010 to 2019. So, like, is that, like, the 2010?
Lex P
Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's fair. Cause the vibe of music was different.
Drea
It was. And so I feel like that's when we were like, in our early adulthood. Like, us, like, you know, we was,
Lex P
like I said, early. I was grown in 2010.
Drea
Were you? No, I wasn't.
Lex P
I graduated in 2007 from college, from high school.
Drea
But she's right. Cause she was 21 in 2010. Cause I turned 21 in 2012.
Lex P
Yeah, like in 20, in 2010, I was 21. Yeah. I had been out of high school for three years.
Ty
I was graduating from college. I think that's what I'm reacting to.
Lex P
Cause I am. I was just graduating. Cause I also. I took time. I graduated from college late. I took off. Two years I was outside. Couldn't hurt. Then I went to U of H. I fucked out. You know, it took me a long time. Okay, you here now, but okay, sorry, go ahead.
Drea
Nigga, you made it. Yeah, exactly. Another example of a song from New Times.
Lex P
Remember that song? Nigga, we made it.
Drea
But no, but I'm just saying, like, we had so much good music, like 2010 to like 2019, for real. And I just feel like, yes, Gen Z want to remix all our shit, or not even remix it, but just try to bring it back like it's a new song. So anyways, TBH by partynext Door.
Lex P
Oh, I haven't heard it.
Drea
Yeah, so his album Party, it was called Party Next Door and it came out in 2013.
Lex P
Oh, you know, I've never been a PND fan.
Drea
Okay. So, yes, Party Next Door, he had an album called Party Next Door that came out in 2013. I mean, it had a whole bunch of good songs on there. It had like, what's Good Curious, which I feel like is like a really popular song that everybody knows. Then it had Over Here featuring Drake, which is like another popular song that everybody knows. But like, this song tbh, been like, like resurfacing on social media lately. And everybody been putting it on they story and stuff. And I was like, I did actually forget about this. And it's a vibe. And so, yeah, Shout out to Party Next Door. Shout out to the Party Next Door album 2013. It was a great time. It was a vibe.
Lex P
So I feel like when Party Next Door came out, everybody was on that craze. And I, you know what happened? Cause I'm not gonna say I'm not a fan of his. Cause every time I do hear a song from him, I'm like, oh, that's hard. I never sat down and listened to an album because I remember around the time people were talking about him, Ty Dolla Sign was coming out too, and I was so stuck on Ty Dolla Sign. Like, when I like an album, I get stuck on it, and I listened to it and I ran it to the ground, so I just got stuck on and I just never got around to listening to it. I'm be honest still to this day.
Drea
Yeah, Party Next Door, like, that was just such a good album. Like, that whole album was good. And then he had that album too, which. No, it wasn't with Drake. I'm trying to see if I could find the album real quick. Hold on, y'. All. Sorry. Two then two came out in 2014. That was like a great time too.
Lex P
Who was that with you say he had? Oh, it's just him by itself.
Drea
Yeah. But the album is called two, so he came out with Party Next Door, which was like, you know, an original album with his name or whatever. Then he came out with Two the following year. But two was the album that had recognized on it. Remember Recognize, featuring Drake? Recognize when I see you oh, yeah, yeah. Recognize when I see I really want you.
Ty
That was like Kylie Kendall Jenner in the video. Was she one of them?
Drea
Yeah.
Lex P
Yeah. Okay.
Drea
So, yeah, so that whole album was. It was a lot of great songs on there too, but. But yeah, I feel like Party Next Door had a really, really good run. But I have been seeing that, that one particular song, tbh. Been like, everybody been posting it on they story and stuff, and I'm just like, well, I thought we was the
Lex P
old hoes and the old N. They like it. That's why, honestly, every time I listen to good music and like, it always be like, the people that we needed. Ty Dolla Sign, like I said, I talked about his little EP that he dropped. Fire.
Drea
I used to listen to or Nye all the time on the way to my corporate job. They used to.
Craig
On a stable that I can ride.
Lex P
Horses in the stable is. No, y' all know horses in the stable.
Drea
No more shots.
Lex P
Y' all don't know horses in the stable by Top.
Drea
I do know that, but it's just the way you belted it out after I said or. Nah, that's not even the style.
Lex P
I know, but since we were talking about Ty, I started to go into it. Cause you think he talking about just riding a little horse on a hot summer day?
Drea
No, I thought he was talking about
Lex P
all his hoes that he had. You thought. Why would you.
Drea
Why you thought that?
Lex P
I never thought that. I'm saying what people thought. If you would just listen to the song they'd be like, oh, horses in the stable. He's got a nice little form of bitches. I thought you was talking about horses in the stable.
Drea
You know the little thing. I love the way you ride.
Craig
Ride. Was they talking about bitches in that song?
Lex P
Probably. I like that.
Drea
I always talk about bitches in songs when they talk about horses.
Lex P
Horses in the stadium.
Drea
I love the way you ride.
Craig
Oh, hold on now.
Drea
Yeah, yeah.
Lex P
Okay.
Drea
I think niggas is always talking about bitches when they talk about horses, when they talk about stallions.
Lex P
Or do y' all think they stole that concept from Ty Dolla Sign?
Ty
I don't remember that song from Ty Dolla Sign, so maybe actually, Ty.
Lex P
Now, listen, I want you to get in the car, put on Horses in the Stable by Todd Dollar Sign, and let me know if you think. Okay. Awol. Cause you're a music person. Do you think that that horses in the stable stole that concept from Todd Dolla Sign? Oh, oh, right. Like, it's just. That's something. That's a verbiage that people just use.
Drea
Oh, okay.
Lex P
Like, horses in the stable is my bitches. So that, like, that's a common thing. Like, niggas be like, I got horses in the stable. Ho at nigga and do okay.
Drea
But I don't know. I just feel like bring the vibes back. Yeah, you always say this. You be like. Like, you feel like music is not. Not you. You always say you don't feel like music isn't as good as it used to be. People just don't know how to find good music. I don't know, sis. I feel like music ain't the same as it used to be. I really don't be feeling like it's the same. I feel like people be coming out with good songs here and there. Like, somebody might come out with a good EP here and there, but. But as far as, like, consistent bangers, somebody had made a tweet, and they was just basically like, the summer that, like, Asset. Yeah, I know. The summer that. That came out was the same summer that Tap out came out was the same. Yes. Was it? Maybe. Maybe. I can't remember what. Yeah, the 2010s. The same summer that they remember that Young Thug song Slack. Hear My Back. Lil Odie Hit My back.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
Like, it was just so many hits back to back to back to back to back to back to back. Dropping that whole summer. And I just feel like we don't have. What happened to Summer Anthem? We just don't be having Summer Anthems. No more. Where it's like 10 records on rotation. Whole summer got the club lead Now.
Lex P
I feel like you're talking about rap music. I do agree with that. As far as rap music goes, I do think they don't drop summer bangers no more. Y' all be dropping way too early. It used to be a time where you were like, oh, I'm gonna drop it when it starts getting hot. Because the bitch is finna be outside shaking ass. You know what I'm saying? But I do think now we live in a time, too. Back that ass up. Played for long periods of time. Now a song gets in rotation after six weeks, we ready to hear something else. So people also get over songs quicker, too. So I do think that we have bangers, but we sweep them to the left too quickly as well. You know what I'm saying? I'm not trying to be funny. I think Let Them Know by TI Is a fucking hit in the club that's gonna get people lit. Bitches be twerking, niggas be feeling themselves. But by the time summer rolls around, realistically, a lot of people are gonna be like, okay, TI what else you got? I still wanna listen to that bitch.
Craig
Let it ride.
Ty
What about Pop that from the baby? Do you feel like that's a summer anthem?
Drea
I wouldn't say a summer anthem, but I do think it's like. I think it's cool, though.
Lex P
It's all right. That's Shay's song.
Drea
Okay.
Lex P
I think Juvenile. Juvenile and Meg. Cause they love that verse by Juvenile. That's a good one. You know, bbb. Yeah, but like I said, y' all don't let shit ride and cook a little bit.
Ty
But could it also be because we're using those songs on social media also? So we're hearing, and now we get exhausted from it earlier.
Lex P
That's a great point. That's a great point. Cause people get tired of it. Or they hear one part of the song, they be like, I heard the other part. I don't like it. The song is trash. Like, I'm not gonna lie. I hate the way they are treating that song. Tell me now about DEZ Dior and Billie Gang. Cause they be like, oh, take DEZ off. No, DEZ brings a softness to the song that you need. The song is not complete without DEZ being like, tell me now. Is you gonna spend that money? Tell me now. Are you still in love with your baby mama? Tell me now. Now the song is not complete without her asking them questions to Belly game. Y' all don't let music cook. And y' all just want a little hook.
Craig
Let it cook.
Lex P
Yeah. We need more than a hook. Go ahead, Little Dre. I'm finna piss me off. Go ahead. I'm just saying.
Drea
You right, Queen.
Ty
Can I do a song?
Craig
Go ahead, Top.
Ty
I was just at home in Chicago last week. Josh k. Is called IDC, which is I don't care.
Lex P
He.
Ty
We remixed 112s. Any anywhere.
Lex P
Uh.
Drea
Oh, Fire.
Lex P
Hold on, let me write this down.
Drea
I put it in a group.
Ty
It's a good one.
Lex P
Josh C. Josh K. Oh, I say the wrong thing.
Ty
Idc, so I don't care. But it's just abbreviated. I'm gonna send it to y' all now. But that is fire.
Lex P
Josh.
Ty
He's a Chicago artist.
Lex P
Okay, I'm gonna listen to it too.
Craig
I like that.
Drea
And I love anywhere by 112. That's one of my favorite R B songs.
Lex P
People is blowing up my phone. Oh my goodness it.
Drea
Anywhere.
Lex P
Is that how you going to feel on your birthday tonight? I don't know. Maybe. We'll see.
Drea
We'll see. I'm always like that though. So, like, I don't know. I'm not a person who feels like birthday sex is like crazy special cuz I'm freaky all year round on the black side. We can do it anywhere every day, period.
Lex P
Queen.
Drea
So you know, I hate people who want to wait till their birthday to have good sex.
Lex P
Like, right? Sex gotta be good.
Drea
Like ways. It needs to be good all the time or I'm not having it. Please.
Lex P
I ain't got no backbone. I ain't got no backbone. You remember that song? No, I remember.
Drea
I ain't got panties on. I remember. Yeah, I remember. I ain't got no panties on. Ain't got no panties on.
Lex P
Oh, that's a Louisiana.
Drea
I ain't got no panties on. On that dance floor, on that dance flow. That was a good song.
Lex P
I can't wait till tour. We finna have so much fun.
Drea
We are who? Yes, it's me again. We prepped.
PSA Announcer

Lex P
Who draws not on a date?
Drea
Well, I relate. I never took panties on.
Lex P
Actually, one time.
Drea
I don't have no panties on ever.
Lex P
One time we was at the club, Andrea busted a split. I said, yeah, I know, I know. Said it's time to go.
Drea
Well, that was. Oh, you talking about last year.
Lex P
Honestly, it's been a few times you busted a split.
Drea
It was so funny. I was on the. Well, no, I didn't have pennies on. Okay. But it was so funny because Lynn. The other day, I was on the phone with Lynn and Lynn was like, oh, Shay was telling her. Lynn was like, dre did a split when we was. I mean, Shay was like, dre did a split when we was in New York. And Lynn was like, you could do slits. And I was like, she ain't never
Craig
seen you bust a split.
Drea
Cause one thing about me, if I get drunk, but that's cause I'm a lady, you bust a split. So I only bust them every once in a while.
Lex P
I feel like it was one night we had did something and we went out afterwards and like, this was like at the beginning. Maybe it was the beginning of like Ryan and Demi dating. So it was a long time ago and we was somewhere out with Ryan. I remember you busting split, everybody. I was like, I know that's right. And I was like, draya bust that split. Do you remember your birthday? How long did it. It was a video and I'm like crawling across the section. My feet are in the air. You were like spanking me. Oh, we get to rag.
Drea
And that was the same day I busted that slitty. Remember I split my beautiful birthday dress all the way up to the ass.
Lex P
It had a long, pretty dress all
Drea
the way to the aspring. I did girl on my birthday.
Lex P
You didn't even hike it.
Drea
No.
Craig
Cause I had to do what I had to do right then. She didn't have time to pull it up.
Drea
I love the slit, bro. You gotta hit people with the element of surprise. I feel like I don't look like I would bust a slit. That's why I gotta do it.
Lex P
I feel like you have to have a party trick, but apply it.
Drea
Cause I don't look like I'll bust a slit. I look very, like, poised and Ty,
Lex P
you don't have a party trick. You need a party trick.
Craig
You need a party trick.
Lex P
You 1000% need a party trick.
Ty
Okay, what's yours?
Lex P
I either start singing or I start tap dancing.
Ty
Oh, I freestyle.
Lex P
That's my party trick. That's a great party.
Drea
That's definitely my go to. It is.
Ty
Yeah.
Drea
But Lex can also bust a split.
Lex P
Yeah, I do bust a split sometimes. Like, I gotta be real drunk. Cause it's gonna hurt in the morning, but I'm gonna bust that split. I can still bust a split, but I will start tap dancing, singing or freestyling. I will freestyle a little bit.
Ty
I might twerk a bit.
Lex P
I'll just see. That's a good party trick.
Drea
That's a good party trick.
Lex P
Ty, let us know in the comments. What's y' all party trick? I wanna know what's a good party trick. You have to have a good party trix.
Drea
You do. You gotta hit em with the surprise. But yeah. So shout out to me. I wanna thank myself for being a bad bitch only.
Lex P
Cause it's my birthday and you paved the way for bad bitches, bro. Do you think so? You have showed people. Cause I get so tired of that conversation of like, bad bitches don't have personality and bad bitches can't be funny. You are the original. You were the first Instagram girl to cross over.
Craig
Am I?
Lex P
Yeah. Name.
Drea
I need an award for these.
Lex P
Name one Instagram bad bitch. Like, bad bitch. I'm not talking about the all inclusive. I'm not talking about none of that. I'm talking about a bad bitch that has crossed over from just being a bad bitch in bikinis to being like, y' all gonna listen to me talk? I have something to say. And I'm not saying that she's the only one. She's just the first one bad bitch award.
Craig
Come on, period. Put it in front of the camera
Lex P
so we can see. We should do like superlative.
Drea
We do.
Lex P
We should.
Drea
That would be funny. I hate that. That's like a misconception though. I hate it because I do think that it's a lot of beautiful women who have personality.
Lex P
Amazing.
Drea
Every beautiful woman is not just stupid or like, lacks intelligence or doesn't have any wit or humor. I don't know why that's a thing, but I don't know. I also just feel like, you know, shout out to us because, bitch, we is aging like fine wine. And I'm never gonna stop saying it. Because people could say we get it all, but hope that you look like this. Hope because some of the people that I went to school with.
Lex P
Uh oh. Uh oh. You know what's crazy? I went to the school with.
Drea
We look like we graduated 10 years apart.
Lex P
Yeah. And then. But I will. I wanna give a shout out to a girl I went to school with. Her name is Amber. She be working out in that gym. I was like, Amber, please send me your workout out. Body go crazy.
Craig
I mean she works out.
Lex P
Shout out to my girl Amber. I don't know if her last name is still the same, but I don't want to give out her last name cuz people be weird. But anyways, we don't need the last name.
Drea
But yeah, you right though. I mean I feel like you. You are.
Lex P
You have paved the way too. But I wasn't an Instagram baddy like you were the.
Drea
I disagree. That picture that I seen the other day.
Lex P
That's all right.
Drea
That's all right. I'm a big kid.
Craig
Cause Shay.
Lex P
I be so sick. Shay gonna find. If you need to find out where your baby Daddy was on March 22, 2001, before Shay was probably even born. She gonna find him. How the fuck did she find that photo?
Drea
I have no clue. But that's where I beg to differ. You was definitely bad bitching in these streets. I don't know what you consider but
Lex P
I was in the streets. I wasn't on Instagram. Bad bitching.
Drea
Yes, you was.
Lex P
That wasn't on Instagram like that.
Drea
Maybe you should search. Never mind. I'm not gonna say. I'm not gonna say it on the show cuz I don't want them to search it. So I'm gonna tell you when we get off.
Craig
Shut up girl.
Drea
But she was bad bitching.
Lex P
Not on Instagram. No, no, it's okay.
Drea
Actually, no, wait. I just don't want the episode to end. Cuz I want to show you this before we get off camera. Just so you can see for yourself. So you could shut up, girl.
Lex P
You didn't say it with heart.
Craig
Shut up girl. Yeah, you gotta say it with conviction.
Lex P
That's all I need.
Drea
Shut up girl.
Lex P
Uh huh. Craig, Lex.
Drea
What is these?
Ty
Ooh, Dre.
Craig
All right, let's get into our favorite Lex.
Drea
No, Ty, get the Lex. What is this?
Lex P
Now that was fire. No, show her that one. The shower picture. No, the shower picture.
Drea
It's high wave.
Lex P
Wait, wait. Let me see that one. Where you get that from? Let me see.
Drea
Let me talk about. She wasn't Bad bitching on Instagram.
Lex P
You took that. You took that. So that was your fault. You took that one.
Drea
Now it's my fault.
Lex P
Cause I vixen you was with me. Tooted up. Tooted up. You was with me in that one.
Drea
I wasn't with you in this one.
Lex P
That was a Victoria's Secret swimsuit. Lex. A vixen.
Craig
Lex used to be cutting up.
Drea
Don't let her lie to y' all on this goddamn camera.
Craig
She be lying.
Drea
And some of this shit was way before she met me.
Lex P
No, way before I was in college
Drea
when I took her out.
Craig
I know.
Lex P
That was on kingmagazine.com.
Drea
i remember. I seen it. You said that you was Brazilian and black.
Craig
I did not. Now she. Now you know.
Drea
You all remember how girls used to be like, my name is. This is lex P. I'm 23, I'm from Orange, Texas. I'm Brazilian and black.
Lex P
Oh, this bitch ain't never said that.
Drea
I ain't. I' ma find the article.
Lex P
Oh, God.
Drea
I ain't never Cherokee. Yeah, I didn't say that it was Cherokee.
Lex P
Cause I always just said when people always ask me, I've always said I'm a nigger. I'm a nigga. I'm just black.
Drea
Well, that time you said I was black and Cherokee.
Lex P
Why did you make that up? Do you feel better about yourself? That's who I'm going to fart.
Craig
Yeah, you stop laughing now.
Lex P
Oh, you want to laugh now?
Craig
Where the laughs at? Open your mouth. Open your mouth and laugh. Open it. Oh, open.
Lex P
Okay, we need to eat the cake. Anime.
Drea
I thought we had a knife.
Lex P
Am I musty? No, I'm not. I hate a freaky bitch. It's time to go, bro.
Craig
That wasn't even freaky.
Lex P
You went like this.
Craig
No, I didn't.
Lex P
She went like this.
Drea
No, I didn't.
Craig
Yes, you didn't.
Drea
No, I didn't. You're a liar.
Lex P
Okay, do you have pour your heart out? Cause while you be greedy, I'll read it. Mm.
Craig
Girl, if you watch all you.
Lex P
Stop looking at me, bro. You finna piss me off. Stop looking at me. I'm serious. Stop looking at. Stop looking at me. Why? Cause it's making me feel un. I hate it. Here.
Drea
It's good.
Lex P
What kind is it? Vanilla?
Drea
Yeah, you know.
Lex P
Pour your heart out. If you want your question answered on the show, make sure y' all email us, please, @askpoormindsmail.com y'. All. Do not send it to any other email. Don't DM Us. Make sure you keep it short, cute and sweet. Okay. Period. Hi, my name is Sydney. I don't care if you mention my name. My question is, if you're just getting to know a man and he casually mentions he's in therapy, is that automatically a green flag to you or does it make you pause? Now take it a step further. He later shares that he's been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, but is medicated and actively managing it. Would you still consider dating him seriously or is that something you'd quietly bow out over? At what point does he self aware and doing the work outweigh the label? That's a good question.
Drea
For me personally, I don't think that it's a reason that I just would automatically dismiss dating somebody, but it would, it would put my guards up a little bit though. Just because you've been diagnosed with a mental disorder.
Lex P
Yeah.
Drea
So if there ever comes to a time where you just decide that you want to stop taking this medication or you want to stop doing the things that's making you be the way that you've been since I met you, I don't know that I have the capacity to deal with that. And I don't know what that's going to look like. And that also scares me a little bit too because I think when people have mental disorders and people have mental issues, it's a little bit different from you just like being upset and acting out and being in a fit of rage. Like you have less control over these things when it's like a chemical imbalance.
Lex P
Right.
Drea
So yeah, that would, that would scare me a little bit because I think that it's something that has to be monitored and managed. And managed. Right. Most importantly, managed. And then if it's not being managed, what might come with it?
Lex P
But I also wanna say that I appreciate his honesty of even telling you. Cause a lot of people will try to hide it. But I also think we need to stop thinking that it's an automatic green flag just because somebody's in therapy. I think therapy honestly should be like, oh cool, you're in therapy. Because a lot of people will put on the cloak. Like a lot of people say they in therapy and they're not. And a lot of people are in therapy to learn how to gaslight.
Drea
You think so?
Craig
Yes.
Lex P
You know how many times I see people go on a podcast or go online and literally regurgitate information. Oh, my therapist said. And try to make it seem like they've done the work and then you maybe get to know this person and They're. They're still fucked. They're still. You're not a good person. You're just trying to act like you are so you learn how to manipulate people. It's really sick. That's narcissism.
Craig
Yes.
Lex P
Yes to the T. So I think that it's good to be in therapy. But if a man tells me he's in therapy, that's not just an automatic green flag. Now I'll be like, that's. I'm glad you are. It's not a red flag. But it's also not a green flag to me either because therapy is a never ending journey. And even me, I've been in therapy for years. I'm still fucked up. There's no like, oh, you're in therapy. That means you're a green light and you're a great person. Cause I still have my fucked up ways. I still have a long way to go.
Ty
That's a good point, Lex.
Lex P
I still have a long. I still be like, oh my God, I can't believe I just did this. Just like Draya said earlier, you be having your moments where you may be like, why did I react like that? Why did I do that? And you be like, you know, you have to give yourself grace because I'm still growing and I'm learning now. I will give somebody points, a green flag for recognizing their issues and actively working on them. You know what I'm saying? So I think for. In this situation, I will give him points. Yes, for being honest. And I think that I think you should date him now. When something happens, that's a conversation that y' all need to have and you need to. You need to be able to gauge what you can handle and what you can't. Cause we don't know what bipolar is. So many things. Sometimes it's anger, sometimes it's sadness, sometimes it's distance. We don't. I'm not a doctor, we can't say what his is specifically because it looks so different on each and every person. So I think for her, I think I can commend him for being honest with you. So I think he does deserve a chance. But I think you just see, see how it goes. Cause niggas, there's so many things that they have things going wrong with them. That's even before he's gonna be Bible, that nigga gonna probably cheat before you see the bipolar shit.
Ty
Yeah, the first thing I thought about was procreating with him because that could be what, hereditary? And now your kids might have that that's my first thought and concern with things like that. Not to say he shouldn't be given a chance, but that's just where my mind went.
Lex P
I think he does deserve a chance, though. Cause it seems like he is actively, you know, trying to. And like I said, more so than him being in therapy. I like the fact that he was honest about it. Cause I've been in situations where I met a dude and I didn't realize till it was like a year in. I like. What the is wrong with you? Oh, by the way. Okay. Or sometimes you be dating somebody that's untreated, but. Okay. We all a little cuckoo.
Drea
I know, but I just feel like, okay.
Craig
Happy birthday to you.
Drea
Because that was a little Debbie down.
Lex P
It was. Let me Debbie down some more. Let me Debbie down.
Drea
Let's do another shot.
Lex P
Well, no, let's Debbie down some more since we're gonna do Debbie down. It's my mama birthday too. Is it? Oh, it is.
Drea
Me and my mom share the same birthday.
Lex P
They do. So. Happy birthday. Happy heavenly birthday to my mommy. And, you know, I just hope I'm making her proud. And I have had. This is a good birthday episode. I like when we have good. I mean, I feel like our solo episodes are just so much fun.
Craig
They are.
Drea
I mean, and I love a birthday episod. Always a great time for reflection, you know?
Lex P
Can I. Do we have a lighter in here? Just want to make a wish, but you got to tell me what it. Can you. Can you tell me what it is? No, I don't want to do it then.
Drea
Well, I'm still going to do it anyways.
Lex P
But I want to know what the wish is.
Drea
That doesn't count. Like, if it's a wish. You can't tell people what your wish is.
Lex P
Yes, you can. Cuz I'm sure you told somebody a wish before and it came true.
Drea
I don't tell people my wish.
Ty
Wishes.
Lex P
You told me your wish. What?
Drea
What was it?
Lex P
To be a genie in the bottle, baby. Come on, let me let you out.
Drea
That was Christina Aguilera.
Lex P
I ain't gonna do it.
Craig
I ain't gonna do it to him, Dre. I ain't gonna do it to him.
Drea
But no.
Lex P
Okay.
Drea
I feel like if you tell people your wishes, that defeats the purpose of making a wish.
Lex P
Your wish is my command, baby girl. Okay. No, we don't have a. We don't. It's a. Okay. All right, we can cut.
Drea
Chalice is a
Lex P
what? That's what Kim. That's what Kim said her Name is little Kim Lil.
Ty
Did you see? Cardi brought her out.
Lex P
I love that. Cardi has been bringing everybody out.
Drea
She bought your boy.
Craig
I know.
Lex P
I wonder who Cardi's. You know we're going to the Atlanta show.
Ty
Yeah, I'mma go too.
Lex P
I wonder who she's going to bring out. Oh, I took half my makeup off. I was sweating. You see it?
Ty
Oh.
Lex P
Anyways, y' all think Cardi gonna bring me on stage?
Drea
You?
Lex P
Yeah.
Ty
I didn't mean to say it like that.
Drea
I didn't mean to say it like that.
Ty
I hope she does.
Drea
That's amazing. You got it.
Lex P
Well, she brings the people on stage and they get to twerk and shit.
Drea
Are you gonna twerk?
Ty
Andrea can get her splits, y'.
Lex P
All.
Craig
Yes, I know.
Drea
I'd be too shy in front of thousands of hundreds of thousands of people. I couldn't do a split.
Lex P
Lit.
Drea
I'm a lady.
Craig
Girl, we gonna be lit.
Drea
I'm a lady.
Lex P
And then Cardi gonna be hyping it up, right?
Drea
She's with you.
Lex P
I want to try her hair care line that she just came out with, cuz they.
Ty
I think her marketing is really good. The plastic bag really sent me, cuz that just like, resonated to me.
Lex P
And then when she went on her. Her press tour for it, she actually wore her real hair.
Ty
Oh, really?
Lex P
Yeah, to like on her interview, she was wearing her real hair, so. So I fucked with it. I ain't gonna lie, y'.
Drea
All.
Lex P
I'm getting a little hot. And I'm ready. Okay, light me up. Light me up, Big B. Don't be scared now, Big B. Yeah, Big B. And the B is for Brooklyn. No, no, no, just this one. We don't got time for her to blow all that shit out. Uh oh, it don't work, do it?

Drea
I prayed for so many things just now.
Lex P
I love that you said pray.
Drea

Lex P
That's beautiful.
Drea
Because I feel like it's more about praying than wishes. Like, because God is granting you.
Lex P
He always does.

Drea
Guaranteed Human.
In this lively solo episode of Pour Minds, Drea and Lex P, two single Houstonians in Atlanta, celebrate Drea’s 35th birthday with wine, laughter, and unfiltered conversation about aging, friendship, business, and self-love. The duo reflects on their personal growth, the evolution of their podcast, and touch on topics ranging from grace and mental health to changing beauty standards and the joys (and challenges) of getting older. The episode is a candid, often hilarious, but deeply genuine look at womanhood, ambition, and the bonds of sisterhood.
