Sometimes we come across passages where it is just I need to pray exactly what this passage says and it does not need any explanation. It just needs petition and intercession to pray for these things in our lives, to pray for these things in others lives. So let's just listen to these words and then pray directly according to them. Proverbs 1:1 the Proverbs of Solomon, son of David, King of Israel. To know wisdom and instruction to understand words of insight. To receive instruction in wise dealing in righteousness, justice and equity. To give prudence to the simple knowledge and discretion to the youth. Let the wise hear and increase in learning and the one who understands obtain guidance to understand a proverb and a saying. The words of the wise and their riddles. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. Fools despise wisdom and instruction. O God, we pray right now for all of these things in our lives, in the lives of the people around us, family members, friends, church, family God, we pray that you would help us to know wisdom and instruction. We pray for that in our lives today, knowing you promised to give us these things when we ask, and specifically we're asking according to your word. We pray for wisdom instruction. We pray for understanding of words of insight. We pray for instruction from your spirit in wise dealing all day long today for instruction in righteousness. We pray for instruction from you.
