
EMV Capital (AIM:EMVC, FRA:NTK1) CEO Dr Ilian Iliev and ProAxsis managing director Dr Louise Ryan Murphy joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion to discuss the company's commercial transformation and the opportunity emerging from its Imperial College London COPD study. Iliev said EMV Capital has supported ProAxsis since its Queen's University Belfast spin-out, highlighting progress towards operational breakeven and a recent restructuring to broaden US investor access. Ryan Murphy explained that ProAxsis has repositioned as a commercial protease biomarker-led research company, providing kit sales, clinical services and bespoke R&D for pharmaceutical, biotech and research organisations using its patented ProteaseTag technology. The company is collaborating with six global pharmaceutical companies and supported development of Insmed's FDA-approved BRINSUPRI treatment for non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis.
