
FireFly Metals Ltd managing director Steve Parsons talked with Proactive about the company’s progress at the Green Bay Copper-Gold Project during the June 2026 quarter, including high-grade drilling results, resource development and preparations for an upcoming economic study. Parsons said drilling at the project continued to deliver some of the strongest copper and gold intersections recorded on the property. He explained that FireFly Metals is undertaking infill drilling to convert more of the approximately 80-million-tonne mineral resource into the measured and indicated categories. Discussing the project’s high-grade Core Zone, Parsons said it contained nearly 20 million tonnes at close to 4% copper equivalent. He described Green Bay as primarily a copper orebody with an additional gold credit, noting that copper represented most of the contained metal value.
