
First Phosphate Corp. CEO John Passalacqua joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce the successful completion of the company’s infill drill program at its Bégin-Lamarche property in Saguenay–Lac-St-Jean, Quebec. Passalacqua said the drilling campaign, which began in October 2025, confirmed extensive and continuous phosphate mineralization across the existing resource horizon. The program also led to the discovery of two new phosphate intersections in both the Northern and Southern Zones, located on the eastern extension of the known mineralized area—highlighting the project’s potential for further expansion. In response to these encouraging results, the company expanded its original 30,000-metre drill program by an additional 10,000 metres. The expanded drilling was designed to better define the newly identified zones and to test for deeper mineralization across multiple areas within both the Northern and Southern Zones.
