
Lightning Minerals Ltd managing director Troy Brice talked with Proactive about the company’s exploration progress during the June quarter following a strategic reset focused on gold and critical minerals. Brice said Lightning Minerals had completed four field programs across its Australian portfolio, supported by technical work including petrology, geochemistry and geophysics. He said the company’s field and technical teams had worked productively to strengthen the geological models for both the Mt Turner Gold Project and the Warby Tungsten Project in northern Queensland. At Mt Turner, Lightning Minerals is preparing to begin Phase 2 drilling targeting gold and copper mineralisation. The company also continued exploration at Warby, where it is assessing a tungsten opportunity near Mount Surprise.
