Nine Mile Metals CEO Patrick Cruickshank joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss encouraging results from drill hole DDH WD-26-03 at the company's Wedge Mine project, where drilling continues to expand copper-rich volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) mineralization. Cruickshank said the hole successfully intersected pyrite and chalcopyrite mineralization between 212.95 and 338.20 metres, extending mineralization identified in the previous WD-26-02 drill hole. The hole encountered multiple favourable geological units, including chlorite-altered sediments associated with sulphide mineralization—an important indicator of VMS footwall alteration. A significant felsic volcanic sequence also hosted widespread pyrite and chalcopyrite mineralization, along with traces of arsenopyrite, a recognized pathfinder element for gold. One of the key highlights was the intersection of 2.4 metres of massive sulphides between 309.60 and 312.00 metres, containing coarse visible chalcopyrite. V...
