Tonight and for the next number of nights, I promise it won't be as long as being led by the Spirit series. That was how many parts, Peter? 700 parts or something? This will be 600 parts. No, no, no. This is not going to be 600 parts. But we're going to take our time and just get into a little bit of meat on this. The Lord said to me back last year about the summer, early fall, late summer. He said, I want you to on the gifts of the Spirit again. And he said, don't do it as a Bible school course. He said, I want you to do it to the regular congregation so that anybody that wants to listen, and many have not heard this because they were not at the Bible school. Although some things I'm going to. They're not exactly going to be what I taught at the Bible school. It'll be a little different. But the Lord said, I want you to teach on this because you're going to need this great ignorance in the body of Christ about the gifts of the Spirit. In fact, if I were to ask most of you right now where it's found in the Bible, I don't think you'd know. Let's try it. Pastor Happy. No, I'm not going to embarrass you, brother. I could see his heart rate. I could see his check his chest was moving. The shirt. No, you know where it is. But anyway, there is great ignorance about the gifts of the Spirit. And. And so we're not going to be too long on this, but I do think it would bring help to us. And more importantly, the Lord told me to do it. So it doesn't really matter whether I want to do it, which I do, or whether you want to hear it, which hopefully you do. Because you need to want what the Spirit of God emphasizes. And he emphasized strongly to me. He said, finish out this year, but in January, start teaching on Wednesday night on the gifts of the Spirit. Because the gifts of the Spirit, if you can figure out, if you can get revelation on them and get them working in your life. And most people don't have the gifts working in their life. Many Christians know a little bit about them and they watch them in the services, but that's not in your life. God wants them in your life. Do you understand? He wants these gifts to operate as the Spirit wills, mind you, but in your life. And just one of those gifts can fix any problem you'll ever have at any time, anywhere. Do you know what that gift is? What's the highest of all Nine, what's the greatest of all? Nine. What's the only gift that can accomplish anything you need? Should God give it to you at any time, no matter how impossible the situation is? What is that? The gift of faith. Now, if we never talk about it, we're not going to have it. If you never show honor for it, if you never preach about it. Norville said every pastor should teach a series on the gifts of the spirit every year. And if he doesn't, the gifts won't operate in this church or the people's lives the way it should. And I don't do really it every year because I don't know why. I mean, I referenced them and the Lord got over to me, said, you can't just teach it in the Bible school because that's only a certain group of people that are coming to a Bible school. But everybody needs the opportunity to hear because he wants these to work in our lives. We heard about a pastor a little while ago who's not in our company but a great man. And he had put a million dollars down in a building he had an agreement to to get. He's not an American citizen, so he can't just get a loan like everybody else. He's a foreigner, but he lives in America. And he needed to get this. He had this kind of deal made through, actually through another minister who was going to basically give him this building for $4 million. He had to put a million down, which he did, but then he had to come up with financing by a certain date for the other. So it was 5 million. So he'd put one, he needed four more. He needed financing by a certain date. I'm just giving you an example. He needed financing by a certain date. And of course time is ticking and the bank won't give it to him. So he goes to another one, they won't give it to him. So he goes to another one, they won't give it to him. And so the broker, who was his broker, but also the seller's broker, which is never a good idea because then that broker knows all the information on both sides of the coin. And he has a fiduciary responsibility not to tell the seller the buyer's issue and problems. But he was not a man of character and he went and he told who was a pastor, but not a very character oriented pastor to say, this guy's got a problem. Nobody will loan him the money. Now all you have to do is wait for this to expire. He won't come up with the Money, the value has gone up $2 million since we started this process. Now you can tell him you need $6 million and you can redo it. So that pastor says, that's a good idea. I think I'm going to make some money now. That's not right. But anyway, that's what he did. So he called that first pastor in, and he didn't tell him that, that he knew. But the first pastor figured out that my broker must have told him because he was asking leading questions like, can you get the money? Can you get that 4 million? And why can't you? And when can't you? And blah, blah, blah. And he realized that, oh, so you do know about this. And so he says, well, you know. No, I don't. He tried to lie. And he goes, but I don't think you're going to come up with it. So we're going to let this expire. In fact, why don't we just sign a document that it expires today, and I'm going to raise this to 6 million now, because that's the value of the property. So now you owe me 6 million, not 4, and I'm giving you X number of days to get that. And he said to him, he said, bishop, what you're doing is wrong. You are defrauding your brother. The Bible tells you not to do that. And he says, but you can't come up with the money, and you're not an American citizen, and no bank's going to give you the money. And you know that. And he had associate pastors that were American citizens that were trying to get the loan, but then they decided instead to try to split his church. So they stabbed him in the back, try to steal half his people, who thank God they didn't leave because the congregation had been taught right. And so. But, I mean, those ones were the ones that could have got the loan, but now they're gone, and he's not an American and the laws are different and you can't get it. And so he was just, what does he do? And now it's the third day before it's due. There are three days left. And he says, we're going to raise it to six in three days, unless you want to raise it to six right now. He goes, what you're doing is wrong. He goes, well, wrong or right, I'm doing it. So you got three days to come up with $4 million, or that's it. You owe me six. Watch the gift of Faith in operation. Because he is Using his faith. But his faith has gone as far as it can go. He doesn't know what else to do. He has stretched his faith. He has gone to every natural avenue. He has gone to every bank. He's looked at every opportunity. He's unturned every stone, and there is no way that this can happen. See, if you get to the end of your faith, the gift will step in. And so in that conversation, out just rose up out of him. See, that's the gift of faith. Faith took hold of him, and it rose up out of him and just came out of his mouth. And he yelled at that man, and he said, you'll have your money in three days. And he walked out of the room. And then he got to his car and said, what did I just say? What did I just say? Why would I say that I can't get the money in three days? But you see, that gift of faith operated. And so he was so stressed that he just said to his wife, we need to get out of here. So, so they went. They booked a trip to Mexico so they could just get away from the stress. Remember, Pastor Nancy goes and does her fingernails. Charles Capps would go fishing, and his wife is swimming, and he's getting more angry the more she swims because he wants her to sit there and fret with him on the chair about where this is now, 24 hours to go. And if they don't get it, they lose the million dollars they put down. Okay, this is pressure, but she's just saying, well, we can't do it anyway, so we might as well just trust the Lord. She said, that gift of faith can operate in that moment, but your soul realm still kind of mess you up in the process of God doing the miracle for you. Anyway, long story short, the day of the money due, he sees an email. He's still in Mexico. He sees an email. And the email, there was a bank that contacted him and said, we heard about you from so and such a person, and we know that you cannot get the loan, but we're going to make a unique exemption even though you're not an American citizen, and we're going to give you all the money you need for as long as you want, because we believe in the vision of your church, and they're not even Christians. And they said, you've got your $4 million, and if you want more, more. So he got that money, and he called that bishop back and he said, here's the $4 million. But there was no way in the natural but that gift of faith came. When that gift of faith comes any what is impossible in the natural. That gift of faith is like a bulldozer and it pushes away those obstacles. How many of us could use the gift of faith in our lives when we face impossible situations? And how many of us have faced them and failed? Because we haven't understood about the gift of faith, we haven't shown honor for it, we haven't learned about it, we haven't renewed our minds about it. And all you know is faith. But there is a faith beyond faith. It's called the gift of faith. Or some ministers call it special faith. But the scriptural term is simply just the gift of faith. That's just one of the nine. You have even one of the nine work to change your life. Praise God. But if nobody ever talks about it, if we just reference it in passing, or if we just have tongues and interpretation once in a while, and then people say, oh yeah, our church believes in the gifts of the spirit. Well, a tongue's interpretation once in a while is not believing in the gifts of the spirit. You got to talk about it, you got to be aggressive about it, you got to show honor for it. And people have to pay attention and renew their minds with it and start to say, you can't claim it like healing, you can't claim it like finances. Because this is a gift. The Spirit of God chooses when he gives it to you, but he is more likely to give it to you if you show honor. He is more inclined to give it to you if you know about it, if you are reverencing it, if you are expecting it, if you are showing appreciation for it. He is far more likely to say, here it is. Than if you are ignorant. When you are ignorant, very few things happen for you for lack of knowledge. People perish. So the gifts of the Spirit are found in First Corinthians, chapter 12, 9, 11. Can you turn there, please? Well, it is really 7 to 11, but let's look at it together. First Corinthians, chapter 12. Can you remember that? 12 apostles. Easy to remember. 7 to 11. Praise God. 7 11. Remember the 711 that we used to go to growing up? Right? You got to make little tricks so you remember these things. Now it says in verse seven. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom, to another the word of knowledge, by the same spirit to another, faith by the same spirit to another. The gifts of healings by the same spirit to another, the working of miracles to another, prophecy to another, the discerning of spirits to another, divers kinds of tongues to another, the interpretation of tongues. But all these worketh that one and self, same spirit dividing to every man severally he wills. There, they are listed. They're not listed in group category. There. That's just how they're listed. But I want you to look at verse one for a second. Go back up. Now, concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. Ignorant. Now, First Corinthians 12, 1, the word gifts, if you've got a King James version, gifts is italicized by that means. It wasn't in the original language. You can remove gifts and still be accurate. Now, concerning spiritual brethren, I would not have you ignorant. Now, that word spiritual is the Greek word pneuma kidos, which means non, carnal, ethereal, or supernatural. It means the higher or renovated nature, meaning spirit, not physical, of the rational and immortal soul. So spiritual is anything about spirits in the spiritual realm, you. In comparison to other Greek words which refer to the physical side of our existence. Like the physical side, your body, plant life, animal life, the physicality of life. This word pneuma, ketos is referring to that spiritual realm. Okay? Are you still with me? I'm teaching you. I'm not preaching to you. I'm teaching you. But you need teaching. And some of you maybe should get out a pad and paper and show God that you're interested. Amen. Okay. And show your pastor that you're interested. You don't have to. I don't really care one way or the other. But. But there may be some things here that strike you as I say them, and you may want to write them down to be a blessing to you. So now, concerning spiritual, concerning ethereal, concerning non carnal, non physical, concerning the supernatural, concerning the higher nature, I would not have you ignorant. Do you understand? Remember, Dr. Would often say, now, these things, things would happen in the service if nothing is pertaining to the spirit. Remember, he would say, now, these are things that are pertaining, that pertain to the spirit. Well, he's quoting here because it says, now, brethren, things that are spiritual. Concerning spiritual, I would not have you ignorant, meaning things that pertain to the spirit realm I don't want you to be ignorant about. And many people in Paul's day were ignorant. In fact, the entire church was ignorant about spiritual things, which is why Paul had to say, you shouldn't be ignorant. Listen, we're no better. Just because we have smartphones doesn't Mean we're smart. We're no better than they were unless we learn. Unless we learn. That's why Dr. Would always say, now, concerning things that pertain to the spirit, or this thing that happened that pertains to the spirit. Remember, doctor would say that a lot because he's talking about in that spiritual realm. Now, that doesn't just mean when you're praying in the service, things can happen which is part of that spiritual realm because these gifts are part of that spiritual realm. Now this is the most accurate because the Greek is general in its scope. Here. Anything regarding or pertaining to the Spirit, we should not be ignorant. General, ignorant means to not know something, to have a lack of information, to be unintelligent, misunderstand or ignore through disinclination. That means to ignore through reluctance or. Or lack of enthusiasm. Are you listening? So he says, I want you. And this is a general thing. It's not just about gifts. Do you understand? That's what I'm emphasizing. He says, now, brethren, concerning spiritual, I would not have you ignorant. That's why I don't like the word gifts, because it makes it think that we're only talking about nine gifts. But it's anything to do with that realm. He is saying, I don't want you ignorant. And ignorant means to be misinformed. Lack of information, unintelligent misunderstanding. Now watch this. This is what most people struggle with. This is what most people are guilty with. They're ignorant because it's ignorance through disinclination. Disinclination means to ignore something through reluctance or lack of enthusiasm. Why are most people ignorant? They're reluctant or they just don't care. If you just don't care, you have a lack of enthusiasm. What did God say? He wants you to be interested. What's the opposite of disinclination? Interest. Do you understand? Remember Jesus talked to Pastor Bill Matthews in that service. 127 pastors. I can't remember the exact number, but it was over 100. And he went through every one of them and he said, this is Pastor so. And so he said the name, his name, the church is X. And he lives in this city. And he's not interested. Then he went to the next one. This is Pastor so and so. And he's uninterested. And he's. And he went down the row, all hundred and plus of them. And I think there was only six or seven that he said, and they're interested. That shows you that even ministers struggle with disinterest. You cannot afford Listen, you can afford it. Well, you can't afford it, but you can endure it. But I'm telling you, you cannot afford the luxury of being disinterested in the gifts of the spirit because they are critical to aid you in your life. They are critical in dangerous situations. Listen, a believer that understands the gifts of the spirit will never get mugged, will never get raped, will never have those problems, will never have a plane go down because the gifts of the spirit step in when your faith steps off. This is a critically important subject. You can't afford disinclination. You can't be reluctant, and you cannot be. A lack of enthusiasm. Praise God. We're different, are we not? God wants us informed through an attitude of reverence, enthusiasm regarding all things pertaining to the spirit and specifically, yes, of his gifts and manifestations, but of all things. So while the Greek in a general scope, it's general in the original language. But the translator added the word gifts to bring specificity to the statement because of the context of the chapter. The context of the chapter is about the gifts of the spirit primarily. Do you understand? But the translated added that to bring specificity. But in the Greek original language, it's just talking general, which includes gifts. But it's not limited to gifts. We don't want to be ignorant about when we pray. See, that's not the gifts, but you're still in the realm of the spirit when you pray. Faith is part of the realm of the spirit. That's not about gifts. I'm not talking about the gift of faith. I'm just talking about regular faith. We don't want to be ignorant about that. Anything that is spiritual, which means anything from God's realm, we don't want to be ignorant of. That means we can learn, but we got to be in a place where we can learn. Amen. I don't want to give a handout, but I'm going to put some of it on the screen. Not all of it, but some of it on the screen, just so that you have something to look at and you can read along with me as we go. Some translations bring specificity to this verse in accordance with the intent of the translators. Others keep it more general. So the King James says, now, concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. Let's have a look at what put that screen up. Let's have the amplified says, now, concerning spiritual endowments of supernatural energy. Don't be misinformed. Huh? Supernatural energy. I don't really like the word energy because the Far Eastern People talk about some energy is flowing through your body. Well, that's a counterfeit because there is energy flowing through you and it's the Holy Ghost energy, it's supernatural energy. They stole it from us. The new living says, I do not want you ignorant of the special abilities the spirit gives us. The Darby says of spiritual manifestations. The Holman says, what comes from the spirit. The message says, I don't want you ignorant of the various ways God's spirit gets worked into our lives. The Passion says, I don't want you ignorant, I don't want you confused about spiritual realities. So it's supposed to be a reality. Most people, it's not. The Young's literal says about spiritual things. The Phillips says spiritual matters. And there's many others. I'm just giving you a few. But I really like the new living and the amplified the special abilities. The gifts are special abilities that God gives us. And remember that's specifically about the gifts. But remember in the original it just means generally anything to do with that realm. Praise the Lord. So verse two and three tells us, I'm going to read that you know, that you were Gentiles. Read with me. 1st Corinthians 12:2. Carried away unto these dumb idols even as you were led. Wherefore I give you to understand that no man speaking by the spirit of God calls Jesus accursed. And that no man can say that Jesus is Lord but by the Holy Ghost. So verse two and three tells us that those of us that are born again can receive and participate in spiritual things. Understand? He's saying, don't be ignorant. Now then he goes on to verse two and he's saying, no man can say that Jesus is a curse and no man can say he's Lord. So he's talking about the covenant here, that when you're born again you're going to get some things. Do you understand? You're not going to be like the Gentiles, led away with dead gods and a realm of spirituality that is dumb idols. Dumb not just meaning stupid, dumb meaning they can't speak, there's no life in them. So he's saying, listen, I don't want you ignorant. Then he says, the sinners around you, all they've got is deadness everywhere they look. They've just got things that they worship that have no voice and no life. They worship money, they worship cars, they worship sex, they worship this. But there's no life in those things. But you being a born again believer because you have got the Holy Ghost by which you have said he is Lord. You have a right to not be ignorant. That tells us, unless you're born again, this is not for you. You can't access this. Do you understand? So now it says verse four. Now, there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. See, the Trinity is mentioned. And there are diversities of operations. But it is the same God which works all in all. So you can see here, the Father is in charge of what? What does it say? Operations. Father is always in charge of operations. He's the boss. He organizes the whole thing. Jesus the Son is in charge of what? Administration. So you see that Jesus acts and does what the Father, what the Father says. He administrates what the Father authors. So Jesus often said, I can only do what I see the Father do. Meaning I can only administrate what he is operating. Do you understand? And the Holy Spirit is in charge of the what? And there are many manifestations. Do you see that? Diversities of operations is God. It's put in reverse order in the Scripture. But let's start with verse 6, 5, 4. God does the operating, Jesus does the administrating, the Holy Spirit does the manifesting. That's verse seven. The manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. So I'm just giving you a baseline foundation here so you understand how this works. God operates. Jesus administrates. The Holy Spirit manifests. For example, if I was the Father, I would say light be. If we were in darkness, I say it, God always speaks it. Jesus goes and he administrates what the Father and Jesus creates the light. Do you understand? Somebody has to administrate or do or execute the verbal command of the Father. Jesus administrates that. That's why it says administrations are the Lord's job. But he goes over and he flicks the switch. That's the administration of the command light be. I say it happy goes over and he flicks the switch. But now the Holy Spirit is the power of God. Now he's a person, but he's also the power of God that we could akin in this example to electricity. He now manifests so that everybody can see what the Father said and what Jesus did. Do you understand? That's why the Father authors. Jesus paid the price. The Spirit leads us into. That's another way of saying it. But Jesus goes and flicks the switch. And the Holy Spirit is the power of God that makes it all work. Praise God. Amen. Praise the Lord. So notice it says here in verse seven that the Holy Spirit does that. Do you see there? But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit. It says the word manifestation, and then what does it list? It lists nine manifestations of the Spirit. So technically, we should call these the nine manifestations. We call them the nine gifts. Why do we call it the nine gifts? Because verse one says gifts, but that's actually not in the original. So it's more accurate to say there are nine manifestations now. They are gifts. But I prefer the word manifestations because a gift has a certain. We think of a gift a certain way. And that's true because he is giving it as a gift. You can't use your faith for it necessarily. You can't claim it. It's up to him to give it. But I prefer the word manifestations. Although gifts are fine, but manifestations are more accurate and they're more biblical. It's more scriptural sounding to say manifestations. Why? Because this will help you if you meditate on this. When the gifts or manifestations of the Spirit operate through you, the Holy Spirit is manifesting himself through you. That helps me understand it better when I just think, well, he's giving me a gift. That's fine. There's a certain connotation to that. That's accurate. But when I realize he's actually manifesting himself when tongues and interpretation of tongues happen, the Spirit of God is manifesting himself through a human being. That's a very precious thing. That's a very holy thing. So it gives a different context than just it's a gift. Gift kind of gives the impression like, well, here we go. And then I'm like, it's a handoff, and I'm here and you're there with that gift. But if you look at it the other way, the manifestation is like the holy. Okay. It's like the Holy Spirit pours into that person and it goes through that person. See, when you think of it as manifestation, the Holy Spirit is not leaving you. The gifts are not. The Holy Spirit is connected to the gifts. He is. He's. He's not just saying here, he's saying here, and he's manifesting himself through you. It's a very different way of looking at it than just, there's a gift. It separates the whole. It alienates the spirit from the equation. But manifestation includes the Spirit in the equation. When he is giving me that gift, he's really manifesting through me. Be aware that he wants to manifest himself through you. But he can't if you don't know anything about it, because for lack of knowledge you perish. That's why it's important that we talk about it and that you are not ignorant, because you're not ignorant, because of reluctance or a lack of enthusiasm. I'm very enthusiastic for these gifts because I've learned over the years that they change everything. They can affect a whole bunch of different things. Now, this manifestation, you see that verse 7. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal the manifestation of the Spirit. And then it lists nine. That word manifestation in the original language, it means the exhibition or the expression. So how does the Holy Spirit exhibit or express Himself in the earth? Is especially. He can do it in many ways, but it's especially through us as believers, an exhibition. The Holy Spirit is an exhibitionist. Do you understand what I mean by that? We use that as a negative term. But he wants to express something. He wants to exhibit something he doesn't want to be. When the gifts don't operate through us, the world can't see Him. Now when the fruits don't operate through us, they can't see him either. But I don't just want them to see the love and joy and peace, although they need to see that because the world is full of not love and not joy and not peace. But what about them? Also seeing him in a miracle and seeing him with a word of knowledge that how would we know that about that person? See, they are seeing the Holy Spirit manifesting through these gifts. He's exhibiting Himself. I think that's beautiful. And he does it through us as believers. Verse 4 calls what the Holy Spirit does gifts and says that there are diversities or a variety or a distinction or a of these gifts. Notice verse 4. Now, there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. Then it says he's a manifester of them in verse seven. But you see that diversities of gifts, that simply means that there are. When he's got diversities of gifts, it means there's varieties or distinctions of gifts. Okay, I'm giving you original language here because it would help you understand. Now the word gifts Here in verse 4, it means a divine gifting endowment or a miraculous faculty. So it is scriptural to call these nine items gifts. It is scriptural because verse four says it and verse one says it. It is scriptural, but. Or the word manifestations because they are given to us by the Spirit as divine giftings or miraculous faculties for the express Purpose of the Holy Spirit exhibiting or, or expressing himself in the world through us. The Holy Spirit wants to become visible. He doesn't want the world to not know he's there. Now he's around them, convicting them of sin, righteousness and judgment. But they can ignore that. They can push that conviction away. But when a believer walks up with the fruits, when a believer walks up with the gifts, the Holy Spirit is now able to express and manifest and exhibit himself so the world can see, see what he looks like through that believer and through those gifts. That's why he longs to do it. He wishes that we would get on this more. Because if you just had, if you have any of these working in your life, there's going to be a blessing that's going to come to you. Now this next section, look at verse seven. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given. Now you've already learned a lot tonight. In fact, you know more than most pastors know right now after 15 minutes of teaching about the gifts. And I've proven that by talking to pastors that are completely ignorant. They don't even know where it's found. They don't even know what it is. They have no concept whatsoever. And it causes a lot of problems. Now the manifestation of the Spirit, verse 7 is given to every man to profit with all. To profit with all. I think this is a very important phrase. Do you notice it says that it's given to every man. That means that. Now listen, it doesn't mean that every gift God's going to give you, but it does mean that you have a right to some of the gifts if you'll put a demand on it. Now you can't receive it like healing, because this is as the Spirit wills. It's not as you will. Do you understand? But what I'm saying is, he said they're given to every man. That means no one is left out. That means it's not just for five fold offices, it's not just for preachers. It says every man, if he wanted it to be known that it was only for elite few, he would not say the word. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man. That doesn't mean all nine. You're gonna get because notice in the next it says for to one is given, then to another one is given, then to one is given. The same Spirit is giving. But he might choose to give Hannah this one and then give Joseph this one. Now he may choose to give all nine to this one and one to this one. But every believer has a right to at least one because he said every man. So you should not be left out. Let me ask you, when is the last time a gift of the Spirit operated through your life? It's rhetorical. Don't put your hand up. Don't yell it out. But I want you to ask yourself that. When is the last time a gift of the Spirit operated through my life? If it hasn't operated in a long time or ever. That's why you're not profiting. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit. To profit. To profit with that manifestation. God wants you to profit by the gifts. It's almost unfair because we have an unfair. But it's a fair because God is never unfair. In our mind, it seems unfair, but he's never unfair. So we have a. Unfair by human standards, but by God's standard, a fair advantage over sinners. But yet you don't take advantage of it because you don't know anything about it. For the below definitions. Put that on the screen, please. For the below definitions of profit. Remember, it is the gifts that cause these things to happen. The gifts profit. The manifestations profit us. So gifts or manifestations cause us to. Now, these are the Greek meanings, okay? The original meanings of that word, prophet. So the gifts cause us to be able to bear things in this life with God's help. So why is any Christian depressed? Why is any Christian suicidal? Why is any Christian falling apart when somebody in their family dies? Why is any Christian stressed when their company goes under and it looks like they're going to lose their home? Because if you've got manifestations operating with you, then what you're going to have is you're going to be able to bear things in this life that otherwise you wouldn't. The problem is people don't understand the manifestations, so they're not bearing things. Right? I'm preaching better than you're saying Amen. It means to conduce. What does that word mean? To bring help for a particular outcome or to lead to a specific result. So in other words, when I've got the gifts and I need a particular outcome, the gifts will cause that to happen. I need a specific result. In other words, there's a specificity. The gifts won't just generally, the gifts will target things in your life. They'll target. They'll fix things. They'll be specific in their aid. Now, this is your promise, brother and sister. I'm giving you what the Bible tells you, that you have a Right to. So this should make you very happy. Now, the gifts, the manifestations, cause me to profit or they cause me to have an advantage or be expedient, to have things more convenient for one's own interests. That's what it means to have an advantage or to be expedient. Now, what does that mean, to have things more convenient? I know you don't think of it. You just think of tongues. Interpretation of tongues. So we know what God is saying. That is such a low level of understanding of what the gifts do. The gifts will cause you to have things more convenient. The gifts will cause things that will line up with your interests. When the gifts operate, it will cause things to align with your interests. We have not tapped the power of this, not even close. Our life would look different if we really lived this. The gifts caused me to profit. They caused me to be better. For that's what the original says. But modernly we would say to be better off. Some Christians are not better off. Why? Because manifestations aren't helping them. Why? Because they don't know anything about it. They don't care to read. They don't go to a church that teaches. The gifts of the Spirit profit me. That means they bring God together with one. God's power being joined to you. In fact, you see where it says in verse seven, and the manifestations of the Spirit are given to every man to profit with all. The word with all means to bear together. So what it means is when the gifts of the Spirit, because they're coming from the Spirit, when the Spirit of God puts those gifts and they flow through you, you are bearing that situation together with the Spirit. He bears it with you. How does that actually happen? Because gifts start to operate through you, means to bear together. That's what with all means. And you can see this here as that's what withal means. But the word prophet also has the definition of togetherness. One of the definitions. It brings God together with one. I love it. God's power is joined to me. God loves me. It means to be beneficial or profitable. So John 16:7, Jesus said, Remember, it's expedient that I go. For if I go, I cannot send the comforter. Now, expedient is the same exact Greek word as the word prophet. If you look it up, what Jesus said when he said is expedient for me to go. It's the same Greek word as what we see here in verse seven, where it says it's given to every man to profit. It could say it's given to Every man to expedient, to become expedient. But it just uses the English word profit. But it's the same Greek word as John 16:7. Prophet. Okay, Jesus is saying it is advantageous for us if he goes, although we want him be with us, but he needs to go. He needs to stay with his Father in heaven, because I've got the mighty Holy Ghost. And if he was here, I could only have him when he's around me. But he has to be around other people, too. But when I got the Holy Ghost, I have the Holy Ghost. And Pastor Kotov in St. Petersburg tonight, he got the same Holy Ghost. And Bishop Kali sang in Lesotho. He got the same Holy Ghost, and he can have the same help. If Jesus was here, we'd have to all wait in line. Do you understand? Thank God he went. We're going to see him, but thank God he went. It is advantageous if I go, if he go, because he will send us the Holy Spirit and his gifts. And his gifts and his gifts. With him and them, you will be able to bear things. You will have help for particular outcomes. You will have an advantage or be expedient. Have things come, become convenient for you in your own interests. You. You will be better off. You will bring God together with you into that problem, and you'll be beneficial or profitable. Listen to me. Renew your mind on this. The Bible teaches us very clearly, if I don't go, I can't send you the Holy Spirit. Now, how do we interpret that verse? The Holy Spirit comes into us, because that's a general verse. He comes in as the comforter, as the teacher, as the guide, as the helper. I mean, it's a general verse. The Holy Spirit comes in to do pretty much everything. It's an umbrella verse, but that's the only way we look at it. Well, I have an advantage because I've got the Holy Spirit. General. But now, First Corinthians 12, 7 uses the same word, advantage. But now he gets specific. You don't just have the advantage because you've got him generally. You've got the advantage because you've got him generally. But you've also got the advantage because you've got nine manifestations that want to operate through you. Do you see the specificity? Same Greek word, advantage. But now he's saying, don't just generalize it. Oh, well, I feel his presence. Well, that is an advantage. Oh, he leads me. Well, that is an advantage. But don't forget, the advantage also is nine gifts, my God, and they Will bring. My favorite is God comes together with me. Man, if God comes together with you and that problem, I don't care what the problem is. It will move. It will move. These are manifestations given to all of us to profit. Look at verse eight. Well, I won't read it again. I already read it. Verse 8 to 11 lists these nine manifestations. Now he puts them in the order I. I gave them. Word of wisdom, word of knowledge, faith, gifts of healings, working miracles, prophecy, discerning, discerning of spirits. You can put that up there. You can put that up there. He gives it in that order. Discerning of spirits. Tongues. Now what is diverse kinds of tongues? Divers kinds in the Greek means kin. Remember the people from Kentucky Ma kin. Kin or of a family of tongues. Isn't that interesting? That's why it's called diverse kinds of tongues because. Happy praying tongues. Happy in the Holy Ghost for a second. Not Punjabi now just pray in tongues for a second. Go ahead. My praying tongues. What about you family? All different, but all related. We're kin. We're kin. Isn't that amazing? You can have people in China that don't speak a word of English, but because they speak in other tongues and you speak in other tongues, you're kin. Now we're kin because of the blood. But I'm saying tongues makes us a family. It combines things. I think that's beautiful. And number nine, the interpretation of tongues. Are you learning something a little bit tonight? Theologians categorize these based on their actions. This is the order the Bible puts them in. And that's fine. You don't have to get legalistic about the order. But I'm just saying that's the order the Bible puts them in. But theologians categorize them differently than this order here. What are the three areas they categorize based on? Some say something, some gifts reveal something, and some gifts do something. And based on those categories, if they say something, what do we call them? The utterance gifts. You could also call them the vocal or the inspirational. But most people call them the utterance gifts. If they reveal something, what are they called? The revelation gifts. And if they do something, what are they called? The power gifts. So let's put up those categories so people can see them. Put those categories up there. The utterance gifts, prophecy, tongues, interpretation of tongues, revelation gifts, word of wisdom, word of knowledge. Every one of these, you have a right to say Holy Spirit. You said you'd give it to every man. I'm every man. You said they'd profit Me, I need some profit. You said it's advantageous. I've got you, Holy Ghost, as the person, but I've also got your manifestations. So I know I can't force your hand. But I want you to know I'm interested. I want you to know I'm available. I want you to know I'm not ignorant. Because you said, don't be ignorant. I'm not ignorant. I went to church Wednesday night. I'm not ignorant. I know about them. I desire them. I reverence them. And by the way, I need them. So Holy Spirit, please, I'm a candidate. Come and give them to me as you will. This is one of the few things you can pray as you will. The prayer of commitment and dedication is also consecration to God about your future. Your call is an as you will prayer. Healing is not an as you will prayer. Finances is not an as you will prayer. That's. That's what religion teaches you. Anything promised in the covenant is not an as you will pray. It's a. This is what your word says, and I claim it by faith. But this is not. This is what the word says, but it's a gift. It's a He chooses. You don't choose. You can't manipulate these things. Do you understand? It's as. As you will. Now I'll just share a little something with you. I was in a service with Ted Shuttlesworth, senior years ago, and he's kind of retired now. I've asked him to come, but I think he's not. He's not really traveling anymore. But. And then that, you know him, Greg, and, you know, he just. Amazing word of knowledge. And just. You read your mail, man. And then at one time, you know, at one time, he just. He did it. And then he said. He seemed like he was upset about something. I didn't know what. And then he just said. And then, you know, instead of going to the next person, everybody lift your hands. Everybody lift your hands. Just worship the Lord. Just. And he just. He walked back to the pulpit, and he just worshiped. And he just worshiped. And then. And then he said, okay. And then. And then it started again. I said to him in the back room, because the pastor was very gracious and let me come and ask him questions. And I said, why did you do that, Brother Ted? And he said, because the people were putting such pressure on me. You see, everybody wants a word. Everybody wants you to read their mail half the time because they won't pray in tongues and they won't get the Answer from God themselves. So they're desperate because they haven't been taught how to be led. So they're desperate for a gift because gifts were operating. Now you put pressure on a minister because you so desperately need that that minister can feel in the realm of the spirit that pressure. Now let me explain to you what happens. This is how some people get over into the demonic very easily. This is why Dr. Dufresne would say, and he has taught me personally, I'd be in a service and I'd see that minister up there. And tonight he's in the Holy Ghost, tomorrow he's listening to a familiar spirit. Same minister loves God, hasn't backslidden. But one night he's listening to God speaking by the gifts. The next night he's speaking by demonic utterance. Why is that? Because of the pressure of the people. Because when the people are pulling on you so bad and you don't want to let people down and you don't want to hurt them and you know that they probably got desperate needs represented in that room and you feel that pull on you, what you need to do is back away from that and let the spirit come out. But what happens is if you start to yield to that pull, that desperate need of the people, what happens is, is you start. It stops coming from the Holy Ghost and it starts coming from here. Do you understand? And as spirit speaks to you, that's how psychics operate. As spirit speaks to you, you know exactly what's wrong with them and you say it. But the regular person can't tell it came from outside. But the night before it came from up, now it's coming from out. Doctor would be able to tell if it was coming from up or, or if it was coming from out. When it's coming from out, it's always a demon. When it's coming from up, it's always the Holy Ghost. But if you're under such pressure because they're pulling on you so hard, do you understand? It's very easy to violate and override what's coming up. Because if it's not coming up, but you need it to come up, but it's not coming because he doesn't will it. So all of a sudden you turn and that thing speaks to you. Do you understand? That's how it happens. That's why it's so. That's why he stopped and he said, craig, if you're in a service and people are pulling on you and you can send and it's not coming up, but you're being tempted to force something when it's not coming up. Stop what you're doing. Stop that service. Stop, change the act. Just do something different. Because if you yield to that thought, demons will start operating through you just like that. And you know what happens? People promote. There's going to be prophecy tonight. Prophet so and so is going to prophesy. This is dangerous. Dad Hagin taught us safety with that. First of all, any real prophet doesn't need to be called prophet. If you're a real prophet, you don't need the title. In fact, you don't want the title. Dad Hagin refused to let people call him that. He said, no, I'm Brother Hagin. There's a pride that comes when you have to have that title and when you promote. I'm not saying there can't be exceptions, but when you promote, there's going to be prophesying to people tonight. What you're basically doing is saying, we know the Holy Spirit is going to choose to give the gifts tonight. How do you know? How do you know he's going to do that? So now everybody comes wanting a word. So now they're prophesying at will instead of by the spirit. That. And you know, a lot of. A lot. I don't mean to. I'm not, you know, I'm. This is not a racist bone in my body. I'm from apartheid South Africa. Do you understand? There's not a racist bone in my body. But a lot of ethnic churches, cultural churches, they really are deceived in this area. And everybody's a prophet and everybody's got their little document that they printed offline saying they're a prophet. Right, Greg, you know what I'm talking about. And then what they'll have is they'll have people come up and. And they advertise. You're going to get a word. So everybody comes for a word. Now there's pressure on the minister to perform, but the spirit of God may not have chosen to do that. But now, because it's advertised and now there's all these people and he has to give a word to all of them. So now what is he doing? He's looking for it to come up on the inside, if he's worth his salt at all. He's looking to the spirit man, but nothing's coming up because the Holy Spirit didn't tell you to advertise. But now all these people are there and if he doesn't, he's not going to get an offering. Do you see? How disgusting. This gets, how money starts to pervert everything. So what is he? He starts to force it. Force it. Well, I've got to have a word, Lord. Just. Just something. And then, see, he's already switched over. Now that demon's right there and he knows something about them. And he says, well, let me just say, I'm sure that must be God. But he says it and then it's right. And then. And then he gets into that flow, and before you know it, he's doing it by demonic power instead of by the gifts of the spirit. And we, Jenny and I, we've seen this over the years in all different denominations. That's why you'll never me. You'll never hear Pastor Nancy. You'll never hear dad Hagin. You'll never hear people that are safe ever advertise prophecy, promise words. The Holy Ghost has to choose to do that. Now, you could say to a man that operates in that area, you could say, is the Lord. Is the Lord leading you? Is the Lord moving upon you to do that? Because then if he is, he can say, yes, he is, and then he'll call people up. And if it's not, then at least he has. It's if the Lord, is the Lord not, we're advertising this now. He's under pressure, and if it's not, he can just say, no, I don't feel anything from the Holy Ghost. Do you understand? And then he walks away because it has to come up from within. I'm just giving you little stories because it can be twisted, it can be manipulated very easily in a lot of circles, and it grieves the spirit and it's not what he wants. So I'm going to give you some definitions now of prophecy. What is prophecy? I thought, I'm not going to write all this out for them. Let them take notes for something. I don't know. I'm giving them a lot. Let them. You don't have to write it down. But I'll tell you what prophecy is, according to Kenneth Hagin. It is inspired, spontaneous utterance in a known language. I preach by the gift of prophecy quite a lot. Meaning I don't look at my notes, it just comes out when you hear me go, I don't know why the Lord's leading me to say this. That's the gift of prophecy. Almost every Sunday morning. You have the gift of prophecy in this church. Now, a teacher of teacher of teachers that is going by their notes. There's no gift of prophecy. Nothing spontaneous happens. If you look At Pastor Nancy, she almost constantly teaches by the gift of prophecy because she'll have her notes. But then I can just tell, because if she goes off for 45 minutes and she hasn't turned the page, obviously the Holy Spirit spontaneously is guiding her on what to say. That's why my sermons usually are one Sunday in length. I'm just being honest with you. But they usually go four Sundays for a series. Because I start to talk and then by the gift of prophecy, inspired. Inspired. That means I didn't come up with it. It's an inspiration. It comes up from within me and it's spontaneous. It's just right there. I didn't know it was coming, and it's right there. And he says, say that. Tell that story. Go that bunny trail. Do this. And then by the time I'm done, Errol, all of that spontaneous 45 minutes is gone. And I've only got two points out of eight in my sermon. So we have to finish it the next Sunday. When that happens, Rej, what you're seeing is preaching and teaching by the gifts of the Spirit. And that is the highest form of preaching and teaching. The highest form is not to get through. The highest form is to have the spirit of God work with the preacher. That's the best way to do it. Hallelujah. And I'll be honest with you, sometimes, and the Lord has been dealing with me about this, because I get nervous with Pastor Nancy. Especially when she looks at you. I don't even want her to look at me when I'm preaching. Just look at your phone or do something. Don't look at me. She freaks me out. But when she looks at me, what I do then is I put more notes than I should because I want to make sure that I keep a theme, that I keep a flow, that I'm not too all over the map. You know what I mean? Because I want it to be professional. The Lord dealt with me recently and he said, that last sermon you preached at the minister's conference, which you didn't hear, but he said that was good. I said, what do you. I knew when he said that, he meant it was bad, but it wasn't bad. He said that was good. He said, but that's not really you. I said, what do you mean, Lord? He said, you had nine pages of notes. Do you ever preach a sermon with nine pages of notes? If you have nine pages of notes, it's a six part series because you start and then I lead you. He said, but in that one, I couldn't lead you because you kept looking. And you got to get through these notes, and you got 50 minutes to do it. And she's staring at you, and so you want to make sure you're putting professional. You're bonafide now. I'm serious. He talked to me and he said, don't do that anymore. That's not the real you. That's. That's you polished. I don't want you polished. I want you. You. I want you to have less notes and not be so stressed and just let me flow out of you like I do in your own church, like I do when you're on the road. And don't worry if it goes a different direction, because my spirit's the boss, not you. And what he once said spontaneously by the gift of prophecy is what's most important, not your notes. So I said, well, Lord, it's going to be hard for me because she freaks me out, but I'm going to try to just put some bullet points and not have pages. In fact, my goal is to have one piece of paper, which is scary when you're in front of Pastor Nancy. And I'm only going to have bullet points. And I'm just going to try to get more into the flow of the gift of prophecy. Because if you're like this, the gift of prophecy doesn't operate because he has no room to operate because it's spontaneous. Spontaneous. Are you with me? Praise God. So I'm just saying that's what prophecy means. It's inspired, spontaneous utterance in a known language. You speak English, It's English. You speak French, It's French, but it's not tongues. Tongues is inspired utterance in an unknown language. Okay, that's not regular tongues. Let's talk about that. Because somebody commented on a great church that I am friends with the pastor. I hate those things that let people say bad things about your church, and then there's nobody else that says anything good about your church. You need to go on our website and if there's anything bad, just put 10 more comments that are good. Because this person said, I came to this church and there was a lot of tongues but no interpreter. So that's not the church for me. That's just ignorant because they think tongues is tongues is tongues, and tongues is not tongues. There is simple tongues, which is Acts 2, 4, which is what we just prayed in a few minutes ago. And then there's the gift of tongues, which is right here, which is as the Spirit wills. They're different because I can pray in tongues as I will, because that's my language on the inside of me. Acts 2, 4. That's what happens when you're filled with the spirit that's within tongues. That's tongues coming out. But now the Spirit can come upon you with tongues. That's when an anointing comes on you. Now, when that happens, it feels totally different than what we call your simple language. When that tongues comes upon you, it doesn't rise up. It comes upon when. Because that's the anointing coming upon you to do this. That's the gift operating when the Spirit of God is manifesting himself through you with tongues, the tongues feel different. They're stronger. The anointing is more distinct. It is more authoritative, is the way dad Hagin would put it. Even the way the tongues come out of you is usually more authoritative. It's a gift, as he wills. It's not your common tongues. I could spend a whole hour teaching on that, but I don't think I need to in this church. If I was in a Baptist church, I'd have to teach the whole hour because people don't understand the difference. But there is a difference between simple tongues and the gift of tongues. Your simple tongues is your daily tongues, but gift of tongues is as he wills. And you'll know it, because when it comes on you, it is distinct. It is distinct. You can tell that I need to speak in other tongues now. And it is not just in public. It could also be in private. Listen when it says in Corinthians 14 to interpret your own tongues, pray that you would interpret. What does that mean? Ask God if he would allow you to interpret. What does that mean? Means you have to ask him, because it's a gift. If you could do it yourself, why would you have to ask Him? Do you understand? So in your private language, in your private prayer time, I'll be praying Sandy in my regular tongues. And sometimes it's so slight, like in the public, it's very distinct. But in private it can be very slight. I'll be praying, and all of a sudden I'll sense that anointing comes. And sometimes I don't even sense it, but usually I do. But it's not as strong as in a public setting. But that anointing will come. And I'm still praying in tongues, but I can tell from one second to the next. Ah, that's the gift of tongues, not my simple tongues. Now, what does that mean? I'm praying in other tongues as a gift. Now, when that happens. I say, holy Spirit, would you allow me to interpret? See, I have to ask him because he's the boss. I can't just claim that by faith and say, in Jesus name, I'm going to interpret. I have to pray, Lord, would you allow me to interpret? Now, if he wants that, which usually if he's given you the gift he wants the interpretation, then he will. You'll sense that interpretation. Anointing, come on you. And you'll begin to say it in English. Do you understand? But it also can happen where you can have interpretation of tongues without the gift of tongues. You could just be praying in other tongues, your simple tongues. But you just sense you're praying something and you'd like to know more information. But it's not the gift of tongues. It's just some you can say, lord, would you allow me to interpret? And the gift of interpretation can come even if the gift of tongues didn't. Do you understand? And that happens more often to me than the gift of tongues. I'm just praying Mahashtakuda hashtita. And I'll just sense. I'll just know. I don't know how to explain it to you, but I'll just know. I'm praying about finances right now. I don't know how I know that. I just know that other times I know that my angel is right there, and I know basically what I'm telling him, but I'm speaking in tongues. My mind knows it. But I'll. And that's not the gift of tongues. That's just simple tongues. But I'll say, holy Spirit, I pray that you'd let me interpret because that's what the Bible says. Ask him, lord, let me interpret. And if he's going to will that interpretation, I feel that anointing comes and I'll begin to say out in English what I was saying in tongues, in my simple tongues. If that anointing doesn't come, I don't try to say something. And we've had people come to our pulpit, and I love them and God bless them and they're great, but they say you can always try to interpret. No, you can't. That's false doctrine. But not everybody knows the Kenneth Hagin safety of this subject. You can't just choose anytime you want to interpret your tongues. And people have stood in this pulpit and said, you can just interpret your tongues anytime you want. In fact, they've had everybody pray in tongues and say, now interpret. That is false, false, false. You can't just choose to Interpret. You can ask Father, would you allow me to interpret? And he may and he may not, because to some is given. Do you understand? So be very careful. And I may know by my spirit sometimes knows things that my mind doesn't fully understand. I'll have a little kind of sense of what I'm praying for. But if he doesn't let me interpret it in English, I don't start talking about it out loud. I just keep praying in tongues because he didn't need me to know what I was saying. I may have a sense. I'm praying for finances. Sometimes you don't have a sense of what you're praying for, but I may have a sense. But if he doesn't put that, if I don't feel that gift of interpretation come for me to speak for forth what I spoke in tongues, I don't try to force that by saying, well, Lord, I know you're not going to do it, but I know I was kind of praying in finance. I'm just going to start talking about finances. Don't do that. You'll grieve the Spirit. Follow the rules of the Bible. Do you understand? Especially those that pray a lot. Follow the rules of the Bible. I hope I'm not confusing, because I can see some of you are like, what? What? Praise the Lord. So tongues is spontaneous, inspired utterance. Sorry, not spontaneous. It's inspired utterance in an unknown tongue. Interpretation of tongues. Definition is interpretation of a tongue into a known language. The tongue has come forth, you don't know what it means, but now you interpret it into a known language. And that could be English or it could be another language. Praise God. Praise the Lord. You can have. We can get into a lot of stuff. We'll have to do that another time. But you can have, you know, you have the tongues of men and of angels. First Corinthians 13. So I've spoken in Croatian at that altar before. Do you remember some of you old folks, old timers, you were here, and that lady said, oh, he's talking in my language. And he said this, and she said a whole sentence. Jenny has spoken in tongues in Israel, right on Gaza Strip before they had the war. And the pastor Israel said, do you realize that you just spoke perfect Hebrew? And he told us what she had said in Hebrew, but she was speaking in tongues. See, that's speaking in tongues of men. In other words, I don't speak Hebrew, but I can speak Hebrew by the spirit of God in tongues. That's not interpreting. That's speaking. But the Other person in his language heard it. That wasn't the interpretation of tongues. So when that happened, we didn't need the interpretation of tongues because it was the tongues of men. And when the man told us what she had said in his language, the that was the interpretation. We didn't need the gift. Just talking about tongues can set you alight. I mean, there's so many things I can't get into it because that's not what this is about. Maybe another time we'll talk about it. But tongues. An interpretation of tongues is a gift. But tongues can also be simple and a non gift. And you can interpret by the gift and you can interpret by the non gift, but the interpretation is a gift. It has to come by God. You cannot force it. Do you understand? So what is the definition? Interpretation is interpretation of a tongue into a known language. You with me? Revelation Gifts. What is the Word of Wisdom? It is a word or a piece important that you say the word peace because it is not the whole shebang. It is. That's why it's not called the Paragraph of Wisdom or the Manifesto of Wisdom or the Concordance of Wisdom. It's called the Word of Wisdom. It is a word or a piece of supernatural wisdom to reveal the future. Listen, if you had the word of wisdom operating in your life, you would know the future. People pay thousands of dollars calling the psychic line because they have the counterfeit of the Word of Wisdom by demonic power. We don't need the counterfeit, we've got the real. But you can't make it happen. But the more you pray, the more you show reverence for this, the more God will give you the word of wisdom in your own life. Hallelujah. The word or a piece of supernatural wisdom to reveal the future. What is a word of knowledge? It is a word or a piece of supernatural knowledge to reveal the past or the present. Do you understand? Sometimes you can lay hands on people or you can talk to people. You, me, anybody, Minister, non minister. And the Holy Ghost will show you they were. This happened when they were four years old. That happened to their business six months ago. How would you know that? There's no way for you to know that. But that's called a word of knowledge. God has given you a supernatural bit of information about their present or about their past. And this profits you. This profits you. What if in the job interview you had the gifts of the spirit operating? You laugh, but he said that I'm supposed to profit with these things. I just can't make it happen. But I have to be open to it. What if you're selling the house? You have the gifts of the spirit operating. You'd sell a lot more houses, I can promise you that. Why? And you say, well, that's manipulating. That's using God for money. Hold on a second. He said these profit you. I want you to have an advantage over the sinner who's selling houses. You should be selling more houses than the sinner because he's got nothing but him. But you've got me. God says, I'll come inside you, flow out of you. It's a shame. It's a crying shame that we don't have. Most of the church should be millionaires because we're supposed to profit, we're supposed to have an advantage. We're supposed to be better than businessman than a sinner. But a lot of it is because we don't know this. Don't get offended with me, please. What's a word of wisdom? A word or a piece of wisdom about the. What's a word of knowledge? A word or a piece of knowledge about the past or present. What is discerning of spirits? Supernatural revelation by seeing or hearing into the realm of spirits. That's when you see a demon. Don't try to search after this, but the spirit of God will come on you at times if you need it. When you see into that realm, that's a vision. There's different kinds of visions. We won't get into all of that. But basically you see into that realm. You can see spirits, evil spirits. You can see godly spirits are called angels. You can see things play out in that spiritual realm about the future. Typically it's about the future, but it could be about present or it could even be about the past. But it's seeing or hearing. You can also hear. Remember when David Ellis was in our pulpit last year? He had a gift of the discerning of spirits operate. Remember he came and he preached to us last January, a year ago now. Do you remember that, Greg? And he came and he was working with the team, but he also did one of our services. And in one of the services, everybody was here. Wasn't just the team. His ears were opened into the realm of the spirit. That's a discerning of spirit operation. And he heard singing during our worship service. And he said, pastor Craig, there was at least two to three, maybe 4,000 people. He said, I know what it sounds like because I'm in Brother Copeland's crusades and I know what 4,000 people sounds like. And he said, believe me, there was 4,000 people, three to 4,000 people singing in this room. He said, I know the sound. It's different than when there's 300 people singing. And he said, lord, what am I? And he said, you're hearing their next church. Now. I didn't make that up. That's what David said. And then Randy was standing right here. And then all of a sudden, he took a step and he stepped into another realm that's called the gift of the discerning of spirits. And he stood right here for about 30 seconds. And he's looking. I'm watching him. I didn't know that had happened. He had a look on his face. And I'm learning that look. Same with doctor. When they're in the spirit, there's a certain look that comes over them. And he turned like this, and he looked and he was scanning like this. He was scanning the scanning, the scanning, the scanning, the scanning. And then he kind of went back, and then he stepped and then he was back. And he said publicly and privately. He told me more privately than he did publicly, but he said, I stepped into the future. See, psychics can't do that. I stepped into the realm of spirits. That's the operation of the discerning of spirits. He stepped into. In. He saw an open vision. This entire building disappeared. He wasn't in this building. He was in another building. And he described the building. He described the height of the stage. He described how the chairs were set up. And he said, and he was scanning the whole building and how it looked and how many people. And he said, it seemed to me there was about 2 to 3,000 people in that service. I saw it and I was standing there watching it. And then all of a sudden, it's gone. Why? Because the gift of the discerning of spirits ended. Why did God allow him? Primarily, he's a prophet in that office. Those things happen. But not every prophet has those things happen. But why did God allow that to happen? Because it was an encouragement to us that we're not going to be at 140 Capitol Court forever if we're faithful. Because briefcases of money are on the way. And it's going to take a heck of a lot of briefcases to buy the building that will need. But you see, that was the gift of the discerning of spirits. I stood right there and I was praying on a Tuesday morning prayer, and I felt that presence of an angel. And I turned and I saw that angel. My God, I saw him his head was past the top of that beam. I couldn't even see his head. His head was like to the size of the roof. And my head, the top of my head didn't even reach his belly button. And he was standing right in the middle of the pulpit. He was standing inside the pulpit right here. I've never seen something, a being that big in my life. He was massive. He was massive. 12ft, about tall. More than that. Huge, glistening white with a sword. And I said, lord, what is that? Then the vision ended. See, that was the discerning of spirits. And he said, that is the primary angel that works with your ministry. There are many other angels, but that's the primary one. Let me tell you. He's a big boy. And they excel in strength, hearkening to the voice of the word. I know it's 9:05 and I don't care because your chicken will burn tonight. I'm almost done. Let me just give you the last few and then we'll move on. My God, there's so much more we could say, but we got to move on. But the discerning of spirits is seeing or hearing into the realm of spirits. The power gifts, what do they do? The gift of faith, a supernatural manifestation of divine or special faith. There is your faith and then there's a divine faith. The divine faith. You don't know what that feels like. If you ever feel divine faith now, have the faith of God, say to this mountain, be thou removed. We operate in that faith all the time. Faith is of the realm of the spirit. So from that perspective, all faith is divine. But the gift of faith, as definition, it's divine faith. It's special faith. When that comes on you, I mean, I wish it would come on me every single day, but I don't know how to explain it to you. When it comes on you, you feel like you can fly. Nothing is impossible. You have 100% usable dominion in the realm of spirits. Literally. What God does is he takes part of his faith and he puts it inside you for a moment of time. Yeah, that's right. And you can believe for anything at that moment. And God has come with that on me, with. Sometimes people have emergency situations, and I just know they're just trying their best, but they don't have it, man. And I'm thinking like, man, Lord, I'm using my faith, but this is impossible. And all of a sudden, that gift comes. It feels like a tiger. And I speak. And within 24 hours, it's fixed and they're like my God. Pastor, you've got such amazing faith. Wow. I wish I could be. No, I can't take the credit. I really don't have such amazing faith because I couldn't believe for that. It was even beyond me. But I tried to believe and use what I could. See, if you don't use what you could, the gift will never come. I was using what I could, but then, man, that gift comes. Oh, my God. It'll change everything. It'll change everything. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Working of miracles. I'm almost done. A supernatural act on a natural plane as an intervention in the ordinary course of nature. A temporary suspension of the accustomed order, an interruption of the system of nature as we know it, operated by the force of the Holy Spirit. Now, I know you're saying, pastor Craig, I can't write that fast. But when we have the next session, I will put it on the screen for you because I feel sorry for you. But let me read it to you again. This is my favorite one. I mean, the gift of faith is the best, but I just like this one so much. A supernatural act on a natural plane. It's natural, but a supernatural act happens in the natural. An intervention into the ordinary course of nature. A temporary suspension of the accustomed order, an interruption of the system of nature as we know it, operated by the force of the spirit of God. So what's his name, Jenny? Howard. Howard Carter. Conscientious objector at part of the war. They put him in prison in England because he wouldn't fight the Germans. He was fighting for more than them because he was praying. But he would not raise arms to kill a man. Figure that out yourself. I don't want to argue with you. I'm just saying God leads different people differently. But he turned the war with his prayers. He's in that prison cell in England. He's in that tiny cell. And this drop of water, he couldn't move. It's that small. This drop of water kept falling and hitting him on his head. And it started to make you go crazy. That keeps happening, and you can't get away from it. You go crazy. And he was getting upset and more and more angry. And he's talking to the Lord. Lord, what's going on? I'm obeying you. I'm serving you. And here I am in this tiny little sardine can, and they won't let me out. And this water's on my head. And I didn't. Suffering for Jesus. And the Lord said to him, speak to it now. You May not have faith in yourself, but now the gift of faith and the working of miracles started to work together. And a faith took hold of him. And he spoke to that drop and he said, go back. And the drop came, hovered in midair and circulated and then went back up into the ceiling. And that thing sealed. And not one more drop of water fell on him the entire time he was in prison. Now, I personally don't have enough of my own faith to say that it would just keep hitting me. But the gift of faith and the working of miracles operating together, now that's a suspension of the accustomed order. That's an interruption of the system of nature. That's an intervention into the ordinary course. The ordinary course is the law of gravity. It must fall. But an intervention is. It will hover, spin and go back. Come on. Now, you can't use this for all the red lights to turn green. You can't do that. It's not going to work for you that way. But you see, notice how God told him what to do. Now, he obeyed that and instruction. Now you can say, light, I command you to turn green. If it works for you, good. But I'm just saying, unless God's told you don't, don't. It's not a joke. We're not messing with this. But I'm telling you. And there's so many stories, so many stories, so many stories about how the miracles operate. We're going to get into it on this Wednesday night. I got. I got so many miracle stories to tell you. We're going to have one Wednesday. That's all I talk about, is miracles. But I just want you to say amen. I want you to go. Okay, Now I understand how that works. I'm going to talk to you how Wigglesworth Smigglesworth raised the first person from the dead and how he learned from that first raising how to work with the gift of faith. It'll blow your mind. It'll help you understand when the gift of faith comes, you'll actually be able to recognize it. My God. I just want to get to the next Wednesday. And the gifts of healings last one supernatural manifestation of the healing of diseases without natural means of any sort in order to deliver the sick and destroy the works of the devil in the human body. The gifts of healings. Now listen, you can have healing power. That's not the gifts of healings. Now, we're going to talk about that the next week a lot. What is the difference between when the gifts operate and what happens when it's just the healing anointing. Because the healing anointing is not the gifts of healings. They're completely opposite. They're completely different operations in the person ministering and in the person receiving completely different operations. And when you pray for people, you need to be able to know, is this healing anointing or is this the gifts of healings? If you know the difference, it'll help you as you minister to people. So we're going to talk about that because we want you to pray for people. We want you to get out there and pray for people that are sick. We want you to go to the hospitals and pray for people that are dying like Deanne did. This little boy hit his head. He was in a coma. They said that he may not live two days. And then she went down there and she laid her hands on that little boy. And the power of God went in and that little boy two days later got out and he was at our launch service and his parents. Because when you see miracle, when you see healings like that, miracles of healings like that, I don't care what church they go to, they'll come to your church. Because that pastor, he don't know what he's doing. But all of a sudden this person's got power. So we're talking about that because we want you to know the difference. So again, a supernatural manifestation of the healing of diseases without natural means of any sort in order to deliver the sick and destroy the works of the devil in the human body. I'll just start that tonight. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the mighty gifts of the Holy Ghost. Oh, the gift of prophecy, the gift of tongues, the gift of interpretation. Oh, the gift of the word of knowledge and word of wisdom and the discerning of spirits, gifts of healings, working of miracles, and the gift of faith. We thank you, Lord, for these nine manifestations of the Spirit that he manifests these things through us so the world can see what the Holy Spirit looks like it expresses and Exhibits who he is. Oh, we thank you. That was good enough, Lord. Even if it just expressed you, Holy Spirit, that would be good enough. But you've just done above and beyond what's beyond what we could have imagined. And not only does it express you, but it profits us. Lord, you didn't even need to profit us. We were just happy that you flowed through us. But you said it will profit you, give you an advantage, cause things to align to your interests, cause things to become more convenient, cause you to bear up in burden situations more, cause supernatural profitability to come to you. Lord Jesus, you are so much. You're so good. You're beyond good. You're so kind. You didn't need to profit us through this. We were just happy that you flowed through us. But thank you that you go beyond, far beyond what we can ask or think, and you actually cause us to benefit as these gifts operate through us. Holy Spirit, we're doing this series on Wednesday nights for the foreseeable future because I want the people to long and to hunger for the gifts of the spirit. I want to whet their appetite. I want them to hear stories of how real it is. I want them to hear how easy it is, how simple it is, how it's not confusing and it's not complicated. It's simple and yet profound. I want them to hunger and long for them like a thirsty man in the desert would long for water. I want them to call upon you and say, holy Spirit, don't forget me. You said every man, and I'm an everyman. I. I long for it. Give them to me, Holy Spirit, as you will, profit me as you will, Lord, if we will learn them and show reverence and have knowledge of them, you are far more likely for them to operate in our lives. So, Lord, I'm excited about this foundation tonight, but I'm excited about the days to come because I believe by the end of this series, they're going to have a handle specifically on the power gifts, but they're going to have a handle on the gifts of the spirit like they've never had before. And Lord, you've given me some revelation that most ministers that I've talked to don't understand. And. And I'm not trying to say that I'm better than anybody. I'm just saying I've studied this for a long time and you've shown me some things by practical example, in my own actual execution of it, and also theoretical. So I thank you, Lord, as we talk under the anointing and as we teach under the anointing. The eyes of their understanding would be enlightened. That they would see, that they would know, that they would. They would be excited, that they would not be reluctant, Lord, but they would jump at it. They would not have a lack of interest, but they would be excited about it because it has the power to change lives. I give you praise and I give you glory. In Jesus name, amen.
